When Russia launched its Special Military Operation in Ukraine in February 2022, no one imagined that this war would ignite a global fire that is destroying the U.S.-led International Order that has ruled the world since the end of World War II. I know I did not understand that the very foundations of U.S. international economic and foreign policy would be crumbling so rapidly and so pervasively. Four of the top six countries in terms of wealth from natural resources are now uniting against the United States as a consequence of the war in Ukraine. Though number 6 on the list, China is a big factor on the global stage and ain’t going away..
Let’s start with China. China keenly watched the Western led effort to destroy the Russian economy with sanctions, to erase Russian culture and influence from the world stage and to replace the government of Vladimir Putin and realized that it was next on the chopping block. It did not help matters that anti-Chinese rhetoric in the United States reached unprecedented levels of vitriol, with China being routinely described as an enemy of the United States by prominent politicians from both parties.
China’s expectations that the United States would honor the One China policy negotiated with Richard Nixon in 1972 were obliterated as Washington went out of its way to intimate that Taiwan is an independent nation. It was not just idle talk. In 2022, then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi led a delegation to Taiwan over China’s strenuous objections only to be followed a year later by the current Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, welcoming Taiwan’s current President to the United States. That insult was preceded by the U.S. shooting down a Chinese balloon, which China insisted was a weather platform while Washington claimed it was spying. All of this has had a cumulative effect and is producing a sea change in U.S./Chinese relations that is altering the economic, diplomatic and military status quo. To put it simply, this is like the iconic scene in the movie NETWORK — the Chinese are mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore.
On the economic front the Chinese, who control 98% of the world’s production of rare earths, is reportedly planning to ban the export of rare earth magnet technology to the United States for national security reasons, according to an article in Japan’s Yomiuri Shimbun. Those rare earth minerals are essential to the production of electric vehicles and a bevy of advanced U.S. military weapons and air craft.

On the military front, China decided to flex its maritime muscles, surrounding Taiwan with a fleet, that included 9 Destroyers & 1 Naval Aircraft Carrier, and carried out simulated missile strikes on Taiwan.

China also is making historic and substantive moves on the diplomatic scene. In early March, Beijing brokered a rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Nobel prize perhaps? The Iranians and Saudis met in Beijing on 6 April to seal the deal.

And that agreement produced quick results with the arrival of Saudi and Omani envoys in Sanaa today to initiate peace talks with Houthi leaders, and bring an end to the proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia (much to the dismay of Washington, who viewed that conflict as a way to weaken Iran), according to Reuters.
China’s new, warm relationship with Russia, has alarm bells ringing among the Western allies. France’s Macron, notwithstanding his abject failures as a leader, has acute hearing. He also is a world class sycophant and did not lose a minute in scrambling to suck up to China. Macron’s ineptitude as a diplomat was vividly displayed by his foolish decision to bring the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, to his meetings with President Xi. The Chinese were not happy. The Chinese ignored her and refused to extend any diplomatic courtesies. French politician, Florian Filippo, reported on Twitter that poor Ursula was forced to fly commercial and go through regular passenger screening:
Zero reception, total disregard, she even had to leave the country on a regular passenger flight!”

Following his failure to sway Xi Jinping to distance themselves from Russia, Macron dropped some diplomatic bombs in an interview with Politco during the flight back to riot-torn Paris:
Europe must reduce its dependency on the United States and avoid getting dragged into a confrontation between China and the U.S. over Taiwan, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview on his plane back from a three-day state visit to China.
Speaking with POLITICO after spending around six hours with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his trip, Macron emphasized his pet theory of “strategic autonomy” for Europe, presumably led by France, to become a “third superpower.”
He said “the great risk” Europe faces is that it “gets caught up in crises that are not ours, which prevents it from building its strategic autonomy,” while flying from Beijing to Guangzhou.
China is doing more than doing diplomatic talk. A ship it sent carrying 57 housing units and 429 tons of supplies for the survivors of the recent earthquake, arrived at Lattakia port on Easter Sunday. While the United States is conducting military operations against the Government of Syria on Syrian territory, the Chinese are using humanitarian aid to send a clear message that China is a friend, not a foe.

Then there is the economic bad news for Pax Americana. The Chinese and Russians are collaborating to create a new international currency and more countries are using the Chinese currency, the Yuan, to do trade deals previously done in dollars. Two weeks ago, China and Brazil announced a “a deal to trade in their own currencies, ditching the US dollar as an intermediary,” according to Barron’s.
This is not an isolated happening. The move to the Yuan picked up steam last year.
The amount of international transfers in yuan reached 96.7 trillion yuan (about $14.14 trillion), up 21.48 percent year on year, according to data from the People’s Bank of China (PBoC).
The real revelation is that China and Russia are exposing the United States has a major instigator of wars and international chaos. In addition to bringing the Saudis and Iranians together, China and Russia are working with the Saudis to restore Syria’s membership and status in the Arab league. Previous support among the Gulf Arabs for the U.S./U.K. led effort to oust Syria’s President Assad by fomenting an insurgency is evaporating. Instead, those countries are now working with China and Russia to bring an end to the civil wars in Yemen and Syria.
And what is the U.S. response? Threaten more sanctions against countries not willing to kow tow to U.S. demands. Funny thing though, the United States, like the Great and Powerful Oz, is being exposed as a cranky old man hiding behind a curtain.
Une très bonne analyse de la situation géopolitique internationale
A very good analysis of the international geopolitical situation
Certainment….une tres bonne analyse.
As usual, concise and to the point. If you read my recent article “Will the Counteroffensive happen?
https://julianmacfarlane.substack.com/p/will-the-counteroffensive-happen
I argue that one reason the Russians are going slow in the Ukraine is because it IS for them an “SMO” and not a real war. Not that there is not a “real war”. That war, I argue is hybrid World War, fought largely diplomatically and economically — and – more than that — a revolution.
You may recall a guy called Thomas Jefferson. He said:
” We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal”
Putin’s version is more like this:
” We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all countries are created equal”.
This is also China’s.
The proxy war exposes the US’s malign intentions.
The tyrant is no longer the addled George III; it is the addled Joe Biden. What’s the difference? I like Farmer George more.
Thomas Jefferson however did not believe those words………he had in mind Athenian democracy……..nothing more
Neither did his slaves, nor those savage Indians, nor poor people.
Of course Jefferson believed those words, as did all the Founding Fathers who subscribed to the Declaration of Independence, risking their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor by doing so. They also understood, not being fools or ideologues, that all men are equal in just one way: they are all born with the same absolute rights not to be interfered with in their persons or property. It’s obvious to anyone over the age of 5 that all men are unequal in every other respect, and governments or other criminal mobs that try by force to make them equal in other respects can only do so by violating their basic civil and human rights – which is what governments and other mobs routinely do. And for your information, except in the “woke” catechism that just about everyone born into the last two generations in the US has been brainwashed into taking seriously, humans are individuals and reducing them to membership in amorphuous racial, ethnic, class, caste, or political groupings is also to deny their equal humanity.
Jefferson’s slaves lived lives incomparably better than those of the urban black ghetto plantations created by today’s liberal-totalitarians, nor were they particularly favored compared to most other sets of owned slaves. Many of them were artisans, and one of Jefferson’s “slaves” was often left in charge of Monticello during Jefferson’s long absences. Slaves had some protection in law, were allowed to own property, and many were allowed to work off hours for others for pay, and if they wished, to buy their freedom. The vast majority of white Virginians were also brought over as indentured servants, the property of their masters for from 5-10 years, and because slaves but not servants were valuable capital assets to their owners, they were often better treated than their white counterparts. Many southern slave owners voluntarily manumitted those of their slaves who were able and desirous of supporting themselves on their own and paid for them as laborers themselves, because they recognized that both their relationships and the quality and quantity of work they derived from them. As a result, going into the Civil War, there was a substantial population of “free coloreds” in the South, and the more prosperous of these owned slaves themselves.
As for the Amerinds, like all other populations they were of all kinds. When the European settlers first took up land in Connecticut, an area that was under constant threat from invading tribes of predatory Indians, the first thing they did was to ally with the indigenous tribes to settle the hash of the miscreants. By and large American settlers got along OK with the Indians, despite their disparate cultures. Virtually all of the massacres, the land grabs and broken promises, were the projects of the US, and earlier, certain colonial governments. That’s the real American history that used to be taught in our schools and colleges before the army of ideologue idiots took over the teaching profession and the professoriat.
Thank you Lysander for your very good reply.
Whether or not Jefferson believed those words they set the standard for a free and prosperous and peaceful society, As MacFarlane is right to apply this concept of equality /sovereignty to states as Russia and China are doing at least for now. And here I believe equality means political equality. The question is will politicians of various countries ever apply this concept to all persons including themselves? Sovereign countries don’t try rule over each other, they make mutual agreements unfettered by threats of coercion/sanctions, or they leave each other alone. Will we stop letting some people rule the rest of us and instead enter into consensual agreements? Sovereign countries don’t steal from each other, they don’t invade, they trade by mutual agreement unfettered by threats of coercion/sanctions. Will the people who run governments stop stealing/taxing us and instead enter into mutually beneficial agreements?
they are all born with the same absolute rights not to be interfered with in their persons or property.
Nevertheless they are valuable capital assets
Well I see how “American” this concept is………no doubt future FASB updates will allow “Human Depreciation Schedules” in SEC Filings
It is astonishing to me that people still quote those words which were written in a time of slavery. I have even heard black Americans refer to them in a positive manner.
Blaming anything on the senile figurehead leader is delusional. The US strategies transcend party lines and petty Culture Warz. The dominant vector for the entire western movement since 1945 has echoed through every change of government and ignores the trivial struggles played out and amplified by media to distract.
Philosophically the core belief seems to be that an enlightened few extremely rich and influential people should naturally rule the globe, and since monarchies are passé, a democratic façade is needed to keep the plan rolling.
A weak point of tyranny is that when too few people are making decisions, they naturally make mistakes owing to human error, hubris or corruption. Another weak point of tyranny is that if it is too obvious, people resent it.
I have taken this view since the battle of Mariupol, confirmed by Russian withdrawal from the Kiev region, from around Kharkov, and from west of the Dnieper. I think Putin would have accepted a sudden collapse of the nazi regime and surrender of the country in the first few weeks of war, but after that, it has been a matter of leveraging a long term war on the ground in Ukraine into a global defeat of US hegemony in the economic and political spheres. These processes take time, and are predicated on exposing US weakness. The pace of the SMO seems to be geared to the kind of time it takes to reach these meta-strategic objectives. The Biden regime is exposing itself as an incompetent bully to its own core allies, and the faithlessness and betrayal of the Nordstream bombing have everyone in Europe looking for an exit. The question now is whether France or Germany makes an irreversible change in relations with the Russo/Chinese/Brics bloc first. Looks like France is in the lead.
I understood in 2008, that the U.S. international economic and foreign policy would crumble one day.
I was bought up in a Family with a clear understanding of the symbioses between War expenditures and National production, and knew that any Nation using such a large part of its GDP on military and intelligence had to go bankrupt one day.
I’m living in a small Nation with a small military like Nations such as Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Serbia. Those smaller Nations have all felt the Occupation and regime change by the US, and thus it was no wonder that they would eventually unite with lager Forces on the globe, to oppose the US bullying.
“There was not a single thing in this article that wasn’t a FACT”.
I agree with that statement, and have expanded the rap list.
Did the US export its Dollar inflation to the Globe via the petro Dollars since 1971? Yes.
Did the US attack 7 Nations in 5 years thus creating a Migrant crisis in Europe? Yes
Did the US allow fraudulent finance to create a Global Financial crisis in 2008? Yes.
Did the US betray its previously accepted One China Policy? Yes.
Did the US proxy-war in Ukraine unite Christian Russia with Communist China? YES
Did China and Russia broker a Mideast peace not seen since 9/11? Yes.
Did many Nations sign alternative non-dollar payment agreements with China and Russia? Yes.
Is Ukraine collapsing? Yes.
Is the Rothschild Agent Macron betraying France´s ally, the US? Yes.
Will the NAZIs in Europe honor Zelensky with the Karlspreis of the 4th Holy Roman Empire? Yes.
https://www.karlspreis.de/en/laureates
Will the Fascist EU be the next to drop the US Dollar, to save the Rothschild euro in trade with China? Yes.
It is in times of crisis you’ll realize who you real friends are.
I have relatives in America, and would like to help them ridding America of the “European NAZIs” who by now have hijacked not only America, but also Europe and the Nordic Nations.
Let’s join the Russians to fight the NAZIs once again.
Joe Biden *is* the curtain, not the men behind it.
Canada’s oil, water, timber and minerals
US Agriculture, tech & labour
Self sufficiency and peace
Fuck the City of London rent seekers and their parasitic cronies
“Self sufficiency and peace”
Not for Canada. The US doesn’t believe in partnership of equals. As Kissinger noted, (I paraphrase) it is dangerous to be America’s enemy. It is fatal to be its friend.
the us eyes its northern neighbor for her resources.. us already tried to invade Canada once. it has plans on the books how to conduct an invasion again.
just look at how trump tried to buy greenland.
The US has resources but current policies inhibit its ability to access those resources, the US will have to accept lower environmental and health standards for its citizens to access mining and processing or raw materials.
this is why they like to import the dirty materials already processed, they outsource the social harms those industries create.
Mining ist possible in a responsible way, if they want.
It also has huge population and high consumption.
It’s society, economy, culture etc are all geared on consuming excessive quantities and nothing can fix it except a complete rethinking of how It lives. That rethink is not going to happen in a hundred years.
Mining can be done in a responsible way.
US quit updating invasion plans for Canada a long time ago when they declared violence unnecessary, they had political control of Canada. No one comes here to find liberty, all we have now is tyranny. With a prime minister making a commission on every single ‘vaccine’ given anywhere in the West. It’s turned into a test bed for WEF eugenicists. They read 1984 and thought, ah a blueprint!
Canada is basically America’s strategic reserve.
“just look at how trump tried to buy greenland”
Just look at what nation “owns” Greenland. Clue: it ain’t Canada.
Great to see Ursula von der Leyen getting the treatment she deserves. She comes very bad stock.
https://www.sott.net/article/477464-The-Ukraine-hawk-heading-the-European-Commission-has-a-Nazi-pedigree-she-does-not-want-you-to-know-about
Appreciate your link to the von der Leyen article. Terrifying but explains much of the perplexity of commentators as to how the apparently incompetent Ukraine Hawk has flown so high. Will share the link.
While no one should be held accountable for what their grandparents did, it does raise the troubling question of how Ursula vdL came to hold the unelected position she has? What people or dark forces are behind her?
She comes very bad stock.
Same to be said for Chrystia Freeland.
Sorry, am not a fan of von der Lyin’ but the article you quoted contains several wrong claims. She does not have an aristocratic background, if that were so, her maiden name would contain the prefix “von”. It does not, she was plain Albrecht. Her father was a politician and her grandfather a surgeon from Bremen who, as it seems, spent the Nazi years doing psychoanalysis with a religious overtone and wrote books on Christian mystical experiences. Does not sound suspicious to me, most certainly no core Nazi. The fact that her father had several former Nazis in his lower Saxonian cabinet unfortunately is just a mirror of those times in Germany in general. She is incompetent imho, yes, corrupt, certainly, but these Nazi allegations seem quite far- fetched and unfounded
It’s not true what you claim.
She comes from 2 scions of noble families, so she is noble. Someone here linked something and I just read it. She comes from a noble family.
Read for yourself:
https://www.sott.net/article/477464-The-Ukraine-hawk-heading-the-European-Commission-has-a-Nazi-pedigree-she-does-not-want-you-to-know-about
@nemesia
She is also an excellent actress.. Able to act as if she never heard about the Azov Battalion, Right Sector, Kraken… She also has a very selective memory.. Allowing her to forget completely what happened in Donbass between 2014 and 2022!
Did you forget to mention the word russuphobia in the description?!??
Her husband comes from a line of textile manufacturers………but as for “von” it has not been an aristocratic title since 1919 when they were abolished………after that they were incorporated into the name as if they had always been there………
It is an affectation to be called “von” as it is no more relevant that calling yourself “junior” or “3rd”
There is a rumour floating around her grandfather was at Babi Yardages as a German soldier…….but since Germans are very coy when asked “What did your family do during the war ?” and secretive in public documentation it is open to speculation
It’s a lovely overcoat she wore too, in shocking pink.
I wonder if it was a freudian slip.

Sie is ein Walter Model und sie sieth “gut” aus 🙂 .
Canada had a mighty asset at one time. Long a country of Diplomacy and Honest Broker, a country dependable for Peace Keepers, Suez, Cyprus, etc. Now Trudeau, and his infantile WEF crew have make Canada entirely a U.S. supplicant nation.
And in what nightmare story does a nation of reasoned people get the Crazed Warmongers infested in the seat of power in the USA ?
Canada should be self sufficient, but it is now ruled by a weak and incompetent government. Horror of horrors though, should we elect the Conservatives as the only viable replacement, it would take years to pull Polivierres head out of Uncle Sam’s bum. It would be a classic frying pan into the fire. I’m no Liberal, believe me but I thank god that we had Liberals in power when George Jr wanted us to join the party in Iraq and Martin told them ‘No”. Had Harper been in power, he wouldn’t have thought twice about going down the Primrose Lane. Canada is in a really crappy position now…. a terrible one. I just pray this war is over before we go to the poles and we don’t have to worry about Polivierre dragging us into the conflict.
axe me how much money I lost on Northern Telecom and Bombardier?
Who had a thumb on the value of those stocks?
Might have worked once but US is simply too too greedy and has ruined what was a bountiful continent……..
Park your military hardware inside USA and evacuate those 800 bases……..
You will need Canada’s water since you have polluted your own drinking water supply – adulterated your food with HFCS and created malnutrition on an industrial scale
The rent seekers and parasitic cronies are alive and well in Canada – mostly US ones. Probably will only get worse. Living next to an elephant that is in trouble, is not a good thing.
BLAH blah blah, Ukraine is collapsing. The US is next. Any day now. When the ground freezes. When the the ground dries out. Whatever, dude. Anti-America Doom Porn is a market niche. I get it. But I sure don’t take it seriously; no more than any other sales pitch on the internet, obvious or subtle. Because I’m not a hateful retard – and I tend to pay more attention to serious analysis than facile, three paragraph, one dimensional punch lines.
All the US has to do is default on all the debt that the wet market scum, bat/tiger penis muncher, commies bought. Market roil? Sure. Absolutely. But The commies would be the biggest losers.
Your treasonous – and cowardly – hyper-emotional desire to see the US – your own country – destroyed by the CCP is a forlorn demented hope. Even the CCP would tell you that if they deemed you worthy of seriously talking to.
A true American would fix his country himself. Not glorify and praise a foreign – and rotten – government doing it. Pat lang went nuts in one direction and you have gone equally nuts, just in the opposite direction on this issue. Nuts is nuts. The flavor doesn’t really matter.
There is no quality analysis of this situation anywhere. More is the shame. You have become just another part of the heap of stupid shame. Cartoon level analysis for cartoon level consumers.
Eric, I’ve put up with your juvenile bullshit long enough. You accuse me of treason and being a coward. Look in the mirror. You are banned. Fuck off.
hah! hah!
you omitted racist.
well done. discourse and different opinions are one thing. rudeness is something else.
I don’t agree with everything you say Larry but I hold my tongue and listen anyway.
well done again
You don’t have to agree with me. I welcome alternative views. Just don’t question my intelligence, my integrity or my courage. Those are redlines.
Taking out the trash.
Removing the alligator slides off the porcelain.
All in a blogs day.
Keeping the “Word’’ neat and tidy.
I think I hear screeching, gnashing of teeth and rending of togas in the distance. Too bad. Play politely, or Ta Ta.
“welcoming alternative views” is one of the features that sets the SONAR21 blog/forum apart from so many others…it promotes critical thinking which is a rare thing these days. Keep up the good work Larry!
Thanks for that. He was like one of those deranged commenters from The Hill before they removed their comment section
“All the US has to do is default on all the debt…”
…and join the third world.
i suggest a “Loon Parade” sidebar for all the best irrational, emotional vitriolic comments.
Good riddance to that fool.
A patriot loves the nation and land, and ***not*** the cancerous tumor known as the state, which at best should be tolerated.
Good call, Larry.
The freedom to express unpopular views vs trolling are two very different things. The first advances dialogue and understanding, the latter retards it.
Reality has apparently become too difficult for Brother ‘Eric’ and he had a few drinks before hitting the keyboard. He was anyway not getting much traction on this blog, I noted.
Well said Larry! It was a long time coming. A guy who certainly doesn’t want to look in the mirror. Chapeau!!!
Nice call Larry. He is whacked out.
More so, his rant just went to back up everything you laid out in the article; that it is out of control and they have no idea what to do. Macron is also being called a traitor (traitor to what?) after his visit to China and this is another piece of evidence it is all off the rails.
People like Eric, usually strike me as being those who never wore our uniform, backed up our colors and were never put in any form of harms way in the performance of their duties. He is a punk. His ilk in my book, can take a long leap into an ice cold lake.
Regards to you Larry.
The world is full of retards lately and it goes on my nerves
But what can you do…
I enjoyed the story of Van der crazy going through normal passenger proceedings while leaving China
This puts her in the place where she belongs
Total embarrassing and surreal
Will she ever return to China 😂😂😂
Oh my as a European that put a big humongeous smile on my face the Chinese did not for a moment do that because she is a woman but because she is a warmonger amongst other things. Europe and GB have no leaders of any stature they have all been issued a set of the Emporers new cloths I really wanted to say bad words about them but I refrained lol.
Will she ever return to China 😂😂😂
As head of NATO, she will certainly try.
bravo!
Larry, this guy is a troll. Remember. if you encounter heavy flack, then you must be over the target.
All,
This is what trolling looks like, and Larry has shown us how moderators should handle trolls.
For everyone who is not a moderator, the best thing we can do is recognize trolling when it happens, and then *Don’t. Feed. The. Trolls.*
Thanks, Larry!
He was intentionally polluting this blog for a long time. One can not reason with those people. You were way too soft, and he took an advantage of it.
Well done Larry, that guy has some serious issues.
I wonder what he’s doing to fix his country? Just voting for more wars by the sounds of it. Totally deranged.
just an observation ! why the old “eric newhill” behaved so differently ? he become like this during the SMO as if someone else using his account aka shared account / sock puppet / astroturfer hasbara troll farm
im glad he is banned as he is blathering nonsense and insulting posters here with insane jingoism..
just an observation ! why the old “eric newhill” behaved so differently
He was trying the ‘soft approach’ originally, in order to ease himself in. Chameleons will do that.
That’s also what i suspect , he was in Col Lang’s SST for long time and you can check histrory of his posts there. Totally different kind of person from what the ‘eric’ of Sonar21 behave.
Some facts i noticed immediately :
– Eric is one of the first ppl in SONAR21 when LJ and Col Lang have a bit of ‘disagreement’
– Eric make a fuss on SST and publicly ‘col lang’ admonished him there.
– mr ‘Newhill’ posted rationale posts and admit he feels ‘liberated’ posting on Sonar21 compared to SST
– during early SMO period he maintain the facade of ‘intelectual’ posts although one can detect passive-aggresive behaviour and ‘concern troll’ behaviour from his posts
– after 4+ months of SMO suddenly his posts become juvenile as if there’s another person using his ‘ID” and he go full bore pretending to be ‘real patriot’
– This ‘i am real patriot , russia bad’ behaviour is very similar to ‘Col Lang of SST’ , made me suspect these are not even posts by their original personage but from some troll farm kid tasked with attacking discussion forums
He’s coping. He knows that everything is going in the shitter but rather than engage in the necessary self-criticism he lashes out at the messenger.
To truly love something you must be able to criticize it and point out its flaws. Is it treason to call out your kids’ bullshit? What about your parents? Your boss?
Was Jesus a traitor when he called out the hypocrites in the temple? They certainly thought so!
I’ve long thought that as well. It was as if Eric became a completely different person as I’ve read his stuff for a number of years…very odd. Larry, thanks for all you do.
If I may, you were always right! In the beginning of SMO, it was perfectly rational! As it got more complicated for the US and I’m not just talking about the military operation in UKR that the US used just to destabilize the Russia because they’re shitting on Ukraine, from the boomerang sanctions with the theft of reserves, to the end of petrodollars and of the dollar’s hegemony as the global reserve currency, has become completely irrational. All the responsibility of the White House!
And now that even he is aware that the hegemony of the dollar has already gone down the drain, he is furious and he doesn’t even know with whom! But with the wrong person, in this case Larry. Who has only been denouncing the disinformation campaign and warning of US disaster since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine! And I also think that what is happening is only possible with a demented President. Because those who direct foreign policy will never be held accountable. When the bill arrives, Biden is already in a nursing home or making bricks! And as Larry also said, whoever is in charge of insane US foreign policy couldn’t organize a funeral with 3 cars. I love the expression. And also here the leak of the Pentagon reports.
There are a lot of people in the deep state who already realize that the Biden Administration is dangerous for the US! Which is absolutely true! They don’t get one right and will only bury the US more with the conflict in the South China Sea. Someone should stop this Administration as soon as possible! Maybe with an impeachment. If people in the deep state began to denounce operations such as the Nord Stream sabotage as they denounced Sy Hersh, journalistic investigation that the Biden Administration managed to keep away from the MSM because the sabotage violated the US Constitution, this Administration falls before the 2024 election!
The demise of dollar hegemony is not akin to popping a balloon. It’d be much more like a slow tire leak from a poorly executed patch plug replugging the same hole too many times.
Then again, strange things do happen like runs on banks – and with a national debt like ours, well – you never know. Maybe it really has been all smoke and mirrors.
Perfect response and telling him so publicly just amplifies the correctness! Brilliant piece of writing Larry, as usual.
On one hand l’m as mad as hell to our politicans who led us down that path, on the other hand l’m happy as a honey pie horse to see this planet emerging in a multipolar world. Which ist no doubt a better places to be. For all of us.
Thank you Larry! You are not alone in this>”I am not a hateful retard”LOL,LOL,LOL!!!I might buy hateful part.
That’s the way I like it!
About time too, Larry. Bravo!!
When this moron suggests USA to default on its debt is a solution, clearly shows his level of intelligence or the lack of it. He should stop playing games in his mom’s basement and start by educating himself properly.
Thank You Larry. Mr Newhill has become a wart on the arse of progress.
Finally! An undisciplined mind does not respond to patience.
He sounds like a trust fund kid, Larry. Never had to scrape or scrap for anything and now is spewing comments he overheard while being privately tutored his boyhood Latin Lessons. “A true American would fix his country himself.” Maybe he will write a book about it and bless us with his wisdom.
Thank you! Very kind of you to provide us with this Easter gift!
and there it is again, American culture. Hatred, racist, exceptionalism.
One loon does not make a culture….
Eric Newhill exemplifies the “my country can do no wrong” thinking. “CCP” “Wet market”, etc.
a perfect example of american culture, hatred, racist, exceptionalism. this is how US looks like from outside…with this kind of people who need enemy’s ))))))… DUDE you are really a IGNORAMUS..is hard to see you BS Government destroying your country i agree..but lets go back in time and see how did you vote and witch politicians you voted in,, so stop blaming Larry is not his fault that your BS country is faling apart…
“I’m not a hateful retard”. Are you sure about that deck hand?
The likes of Larry, Ritter, Macgregor etc are American patriots speaking out against the poisonous neocons who are damaging our countries for their own benefits.
I use the plural because as a Brit we have the same scumbags here. The UK is a country unable/unwilling to protect its own borders or look after its people, but obsessed with throwing our money and resources at hair-brained foreign adventures.
We are sick of it. And sick of them!
Exactly. Regrettably few of them are worthy of much respect, the exceptions appear devoid of influence.
By each passing day, I’m being reassured that Ukraine has become the wild and voracious foxling that Biden et. al. have taken under the American tunic, slowly munching away at its entire post WWII construct and they’re only now beginning to feel the unanticipated consequences.
More cowbell? …. or more bandages, doctor strangelove.
Information is most lethal weapon in war. Discernment is all we got at the deck level . Ain’t no time to fix stupid, Eric. All’s fair in love and war and you will not be missed on this blog sir!
Eric flew over the cuckoo’s nest… for so long! GOOD RIDDANCE!!
He can strike again under a different username… We’ll see!!
There are so many things wrong with this reply, it’s hard to list them, but I will, because I think it’s important.
To discount this reply simply as “trolling” is a mistake, because these kinds of responses to “facts” are the epicenter of the ideologues that are obstructing correction of our political & legal system.
There was not a single thing in this posted article of Larry’s that wasn’t a FACT.
Is Ukraine collapsing? Yes.
Did Macron make those statements? Yes.
Did China broker Mideast peace deal? Yes.
Is China fed up with the dual hypocrisy of the One China Policy? Yes.
Did India & Brazil sign alternative non-dollar US payment agreements? Yes.
I could go on but it is important to emphasize that the article stated FACTS.
There was never a word said about some emotional love fest for China. There was never a “hateful” word written.
Again, this can’t be written off as just a “leftist retard”, or a dim-witted “nationalist” troll.
It is the state of the majority of the Nations citizens right now.
1) Disregard any FACT that is uncomfortable to you.
2) Personalize, slander, name call, and accuse any person giving said uncomfortable FACTS.
3) Demonize ANY Country or Head of State, because after all, all our troubles are THEIR FAULT.
4) Accuse those that are actually patriotic, love their country, trying to move the Nation to a correction path out of a desire to build up & strengthen the nation. No, these people “hate their country”… because after all, you can’t take responsibility, hold accountable electors and point out the multitude of deficiencies & corruption & be “Patriotic” right??
Again, I wish this responder were a minority of deluded mindsets in our Country, that want to turn FACTS into an irrelevant, irrational & emotional deluded ham fist to punch away at our nations reality, condition.
Here is number 5)
Accuse others of what your doing:
I.e. accusing Larry of wanting to see America in the dustbin of history… while openly suggesting:
…“ All the US has to do is default on all the debt that the wet market scum, bat/tiger penis muncher, commies bought. Market roil? Sure. Absolutely. But The commies would be the biggest losers.“…
So here we have a “Patriot” suggesting we bankrupt our Nation to show the CCP a thing or too. But somehow, Larry is the US hater, unpatriotic.
Sorry this is so long, but I did “feel” it was important to address this obvious slander. It’s this warped perception of “truth” that is at the epicenter of our inability to make corrections at present in our Nation, we change this, we change elections, we change direction… in that order. Top down will never work.
This is why I highly value Larry and the many other bloggers, podcasters, articles & many others I’ve followed since 2008 in a quest for, well truth really.
I’ve ranted and disagreed with Larry’s posted articles before, gotten emotional in my responses, but have always valued his work, because it is work, to keep plucking away at all these lies to find truth and put it out there.
What a thoughtful and articulate post. I am only dipping a toe here in the comments, but this is why I do not stop reading after reading Larry’s work.

The US cancelling its international debts is akin to imposing slavery on the rest of the world. The US debt is a reflection of real labor and commodity production in other countries. Since the US doesn’t produce anything those other countries want, or blocks the sale of technology and corporate ownership to foreigners, the US has a financial debt. If it walks away from that debt, workers in China and elsewhere would essentially be robbed of their labor. It is akin to working for us without getting paid, i.e. slavery in the form of imperialism. Brutal international exploitation. Nobody would ever invoice their exports in dollars ever again. The US financial system would collapse. The US must pay back and not doing so is probably political grounds for war.
If the US cancels its debt then every US overseas company will be nationalized and its assets confiscated by the host countries.
When Jamie Diamond was asked about debt default, he emphatically disagreed and asked why would you do this when we just need to overhaul our systems with fresh thinkers. He added America is a great economic engine.
I have no idea what the US’ hard on is with China. We went to them to conduct business. They responded by making our corporations mucho dinero and keeping inflation in check for the consumer for decades. Now we seek to punish them for their success and for their turning China into a virtual capitalist state with a one party system?
So now it’s not a lack of ‘capitalism’ that puts knots in our shorts, it’s this thing called ‘democracy’, that we’re not exactly experts of ourselves. How convenient and flexible, this lexicon of buzzwords we draw from is.
This world is batshit crazy, all I can say.
Because I’m not a hateful retard – and I tend to pay more attention to serious analysis than facile, three paragraph, one dimensional punch lines.
A word to the obsessed: the grownups among us just slide past that which you seem to be so obsessed with, Sr. Quixote.
My humble suggestion……if you’re going to inflict PTSD on yourself, at least dedicate it to a noble cause – understanding the dynamics that may eventually lead us helter skelter to a nuclear holocaust.
Basic facts elude you. Every country including your allies are diluting their dollar reserves. In 2-3 years they will dilute it enough that it won’t effect them seriously if they are siezed Or devalued drastically.
US is not even the third largest trade partner for dozens of countries who are not even enemies of US.
Right now US and Europe are often 4 Or 6 largest trade partner for many key countries.
World is developing rapidly creating new markets for Chinese and other countries goods and services. Right now US hardly exports any manufactured goods. Most of whatever it exports can be easily replaced by other countries.
Same with American weapons,
Only sector that makes money for US is software and hardware IP.
But these sectors have matured enough to the level that none of what US brings to the table is critical that will stop the world.. So the world can live without US.
Case point is Software which has huge amount of foreign talent which can replicate or same products or even better products in other countries.
Take for example telecom China 5g beats US. Tiktok is a Chinese software, similarly every kind of software available in US has an analog in China including social media, video hosting, video chatting ( zoom? ) etc
On the hardware front it’s mostly Taiwan and even China which has caught up.
In space there are multiple countries which do better job than US.
So what is it that the world will miss? Not much.
If US sanctions the whole world we will be glad to get on without US or even US markets.
And so it goes……
I’ve had a gut feeling about you for a loooong time, Eric
Thank you for FINALLY saying what you REALLY think.
And Thank You, Mr. Johnson, for being who and what you are.
I am ever grateful.
L
Eric, you insolent, cum guzzling, disrespecting creep…. If you can’t hold your tongue as you scream obscene accusation you just need to go and submerge in a pile of crap
“Because I’m not a hateful retard”
But that is exactly what you are.
The fact you were not banned several months ago shows what a truly awesome person Larry really is.

It’s been a big error on the part of the u.s.a. to pursue and enforce so much globally and not be much more _constructively_ involved in Latin America, with whom we Americans share so much culturally, socially, and geographically.
Personally, i would welcome a pan-american movement, and as my Mom (raised in rural northeast usa) said “Hispanics are the nicest people.”
She even tried to teach us Spanish from a book because she could see that the Latin influence within the United States was growing.
We have the opportunity to create a hemisphere free of major warfare, free of nutritional want, free of illiteracy, etc. and full of the best music, the best dancing, the best food, and the finest beauties, both feminine and natural…
Que sé yo?
Instead the US Gov. has been busy destabilizing “unfriendly” politicians (leaders) in those nations (like in Peru currently).

I’m oldish but feeling increasingly confident that I will see the results of these strategic changes in my lifetime.
That’s if they don’t kill me first : )
I think the next financial crisis is not too far off. This in combination with a big loss in Ukraine will cause a reset in the global pecking order. This will be a good thing since (hopefully) the US will then focus of internal matters and get our house in order. At least that’s my hope. But who knows the gubernment seems hell bent of destroying this country.
These new developments across Eurasia draw a very grim picture of the Anglo-Zionist system. The West is in big trouble right now. It’s important to consider the fact that Russia-China-Iran alliance visa vie the Petrodollar is moving forward steadily by means of a controlled demolition scenario, very similar to the ones applied at Twin Towers and Bulding#7 in NY we saw on television. They understand that a sudden collapse of the Petrodollar could cause global economic breakdown. Another big question is from now on what use there will be for Israel i.e. Anglo-Zionist’s land-based aircraft carrier, when it repeatedly fails to carry out its mission at making sure that all the Arabian gas stations stick with the dollar? In short, the Anglo-Zionist’s land-based aircraft carrier in the Middle East has become officially unemployed. Also with respect to the chart shown, which is a very rough estimate by the way, unfortunately, for the West most of the energy resources including the shale oil, Athabasca oil sands….won’t give them the necessary impetus they need in order to compete with the Eurasians since it may be costs 10 times more to extract / deliver oil to various industries. It means the West will definitely lose the industrial race against Russia, China, India and other emerging powers in the future.
Another big question is from now on what use there will be for Israel? To answer your question, listen to what an orthodox Rabbi, head of the Safardic Jews mentioned that God forbade the Jews from establishing a homeland. They tried the first time and after 80 years it was destroyed. They tried the second time and after 80 years it was also destroyed. He goes on to say, that Israel was established in 1948, after 80 years or by 2028, Israel will be destroyed.
Recently, it looks like civil war is on the horizon.
Israel is in for a bumpy ride, but i see many benefits from multipolarity for that nation.
They have pretty good relations with China, and 20% + of Israelis are Russian.
The largest Jewish community outside Israel – in the ME – is in Iran, where Jews are represented in the Majlis, and synagogues are still functioning under state protection.
They will need to make a deal with Syria over the Golan, and make peace with the Palestinians. The settlers will not be happy. But the long term picture could work very well for them.
In my view, US “support” has always been a double edged sword that has pushed them into an increasingly unpleasant fortress mentality. Freed from that, they should prosper.
Fortunately most commenters on this site understand the difference between genuine followers of a religion from those using religion as a cover for other goals such as total world domination. Israel in its current state will have a very hard time functioning in an Eurasian centered multipolar world order simply because their political system and elite is entirely fine tuned with those of the house of Rothschild & Co. from the City of London i.e. the petrodollar globalist. On the one hand, either these extremist zionists seeking total control over world’s finances immigrate back to Manhattan, London ghettos … or whatever would remain of Ukraine after SEO or just face disintegration following a civil war. On the other hand the country might join Palestine, stay out of world financial domination business, retract its former leaders’ oath of allegiance to the Queen of the Anglosaxons that was made some centuries ago and finally remove all its nuclear warheads from the region, forever. Then yes it can have a future in a Eurasian centered world order.
Unfortunately, history doesn’t agree with you on your last point. Some Creeds have to dominate and subjugate others.
Like it was said the state will vanish from the pages of time.
With US unable to pay Israelis, and Israelis unable to steal Technology from US and repackage it to sell to others with overinflated claims how will Israel survive financially.
With Zionists and settlers not top dog how many of them will want to live there? Soon they will move elsewhere . Maybe to the US or europe.
A reduced Israel without US favors will simply crase to make sense to most Jews so they will compromise with the Palestinians and agree to live as equals and this will make a significant portion of Zionist jews move out of the country. Then it’s the end and it will vanish in the pages of time.
Russian Jews have vitriolic hatred for Russia and their relations with China are transactional at best…..they will need to change their anti Palestine attitude 180 degrees (never going to happen) to gain bare acceptance in their neighborhood…..Arab rapprochement with Israel is a result of American arm twisting which is likely to disappear with time
also, the crude needed for efficient refining of diesel is in Russia and Venezuela, not in the US or Canada. Not all resources are equal.
…yes that too, thanks.
I thought the Keystone pipeline was to bring down heavy crude from Canadian shale to the Koch Brothers’ refinery in Houston which was built initially for Venezuelan heavy crude.
Canadian Shale is heavy but not rich in the petroleum components needed for diesel (good for asphalt, though). Of course, you can make diesel from any petroleum – just much more expensive – and wrt competition with China, a losing strategy.
Maskazer, you ask what use is Israel?” Apparently you misunderstand the boss-lacky relationship here. Just look at how US politicians of both strips grovel at the feet of the Israeli lobby. That tells the whole story.
Sorry, please post this fix:
Larry, I have to disagree with the first sentence in the first paragraph. This was a common theme by writers at The Saker (such as Michael Hudson) and at Andrei Martyanov’s. I was telling everyone from the beginning that Ukraine was #2 priority. Cutting down the US and its lackeys was priority #1 (such as the demands in Vienna in December 2021).
To Eric Newhill and his woke buddies… don’t let the door hit you on your way out:
It would be wonderful if in the real world, not the one you live in, you could borrow and spend, till you had no choice but to declare bankruptcy and…start over…
If the US, the biggest and most reckless spender on the planet, which is still alive and kicking, thanks to all the borrowing it does, ever defaulted on its debt ($500 bn in interest alone each year), the world coffers on which it depends for its “lifeblood” would IMMEDIATELY DRY UP? Capiche? Compreende? Entiendes? Ata mevin? Understand that? And the US would immediately cease to exist as a superpower!!!
As per us being treasonous… understand that, unlike what woke parents do, rewarding their children’s bad behavior by buying them more toys, in the real world, the only way our leaders and our people will finally understand that we “cannot” continue in this one-way-street style of threatening and sanctioning anyone and everyone on the planet and to continue spending into oblivion… is to experience a big, thunderous, catastrophic wake up call, like it is about to get… then maybe things will start to change… for the better!
In the 1930s the Zionists of Europe ordered America’s elite to assist in the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. Due Roosevelt reluctance. he was threatened by the Zionists who would export Communism to America during the depression.
Today our situation is simple to understand. European Zionism’s Ponzi scheme is coming to an end. They are about to loose their ability to exploit the planet through usury and in response they devised the Bolshevick One Bank Digital Currency. To do so, they must control both the Institutions of Goverment and the Financial Institutions. However, our banks are not playing along because they will have no role in One Bank One World Government system. The European Communists are doing a pretty good job of infiltrating our institutions. The only way to destroy our financial institutions is by forcing us into a war with two nuclear powers.
By the way a signing of a mutual defense treaty by China and Russia is not far away. It might become fact sfter a skirmish in the China Sea.
I’m sure that in your head it makes perfect sense.
It looks like it went into your head, bounced around a little, then came out the other end.
I may be wrong.. But I believe FdT used to live not too far from the head office of the Cable Newhill Network…
If so, the bouncing process will generate a lot of echoes.. The same kind of echoes that could have been heard in Plato’s Cave!
Plato foresaw wokeness!!
I think von der Leyen was sent with Macron (+/- imposed) to make sure he wouldn’t discuss things that are deemed impermissible.
Boy, was this arrogant and incompetent order taker put in her place or what? Sent back on a commercial flight with the cattle. Couldn’t Micron offer her a courtesy ride back home. Going through security and taking off her shoes must have been hard, very hard to swallow. Gotta love it.
I wonder if she has hooves, being a devil’s spawn.
She’s a leading candidate to replace Stoltenberg. I think it hasn’t passed anyone’s attention what a huge diplomatic slap in the face from China to the possible new head of NATO this was.
Interesting times we live in.
Boy, ” Little Marco” sure is freaking out.
The Neocons are starting to see the handwriting on the wall.
The unanswered question is, how desperate will they be to protect their grift.
I wasn’t aware of the striking natural resource values in play. Its frightening for the West. I also the U.S. seizing Russian central bank assets…. was the last straw. The world said……..whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa? Dollar credibility gone .
What I believe is even worse……is the US insistence with its “rules base order” that all countries must recognize multiple genders, mutilate and confuse children, destroy the nuclear family and thereby destroy procreation. The US toxic ideology demands that All must deny what is immutable. The world has had enough. A Planetary “we don’t need no stinking badges” is taking place!
After all the endless wars, robbery and toxic perverse ideology in their “rules based order”, the world is saying….”we don’t need no stinking badges”.
Who needs stinky UN badges when State has Chinese 3D printers to make their own?
Funfact is, that the beloved Uvd Leyen and the german Establishment believes in Green Energy and that this will result in a kind of 2nd “Wirtschaftswunder” / economic miracle fur EU and Germoney.
But without Seltene Erden / rare earth, this will be a kind of a very short “Great Leap forward”.
The western dominated world is tumbling down and our “elites” dont even recognize it but believes in their delusionals of domination, values etc.
Germany has all resources it needs, rare earth and minerals includet. With a leadeship in function it would last 4 years to get’em. But you need miners, nobody trains miners, nobody trains ingeneering, neocons prefer the world market…..
Of course the USA and the Dollar will not disappear. But the balance of forces and influence will be more spread out than today. Will it be bad? Who knows?!? But i think is common sense that the current situation only serves the USA and that´s the reason why so many countries are steadly moving into a multi-polar world.
Time will tell if it will be better or not.
Cheers!
Very good analysis. This war is not only waged in Nazi Ukraine. That was always important for me to emphasize. All look, like rabbits, only on Bhakmut, Ukraine, what is happening there.
The most decisive battle is taking place outside Ukraine. More and more collapsing economies in Europe. It is completely logical, just a matter of time. About the economic situation in the U.S. I do not have the necessary expertise.
(I still dream that Europe will become independent and say “No!”. That could prevent nuclear war. But it is only a dream).
But why doesn’t Russia go to Ukraine with all its military potential? It is so obvious and it is said publicly over and over again. Because the USNATO is waging war against Russia. But Russia is not against Ukrainians. Ukrainian Nazis are just their foreign legion. USNATO is weakened economically, politically, fiscally and militarily.
I had joked a bit here in another discussion:
“Finland gets into NATO. Then one negotiates with Russia about a peace, concedes to this the new provinces of the Donbass and the Crimea. After that the Nazi Ukraine and Poland proclaim an annexation of Western Ukraine to Poland. Since Poland is a NATO vassal, the USA has peacefully achieved what was prevented by Russia’s military intervention. USNATO military infrastructure is massively expanded on the territory of today’s Western Ukraine up to the Russian border and also threatens the eastern border of Belarus. Including deployment of nuclear weapons and expansion of the Black Sea port for USNATO navies. US military bases are established in Finland and a so-called “nuclear participate” is initiated. Moldova is annexed to Romania and for the time being only latent pressure is built up on Transnistria. After Georgia has been squeezed like a lemon, it is also pressed into the EU-NATO. At the same time, Erdogan is being couped out of power and the new Turkish vassal government ignores the Montreux Treaty. Through this the US fleet and vassals will checkmate the Russian navy after the Baltic Sea also in the Black Sea. Okay, I’ll spare myself the Caucasus now.
As I said, I only dreamed all of this 😉.
However, such plans would have a tiny little catch. The Russians are not stupid 😉”
Never do I think I know the truth. They are just thoughts and hypotheses. So please don’t make comments like I’m an idiot. I don’t respond to that.
Conclusion: The world war is now. It is raging on many battlefields around the world.
The last mistake the US would make would be a parallel hot war against China. Logistics and world trade would collapse and everything that would result. Europe would be set back 200 years in development. The USA would not survive this. Not economically and the internal social as well as social contradictions would break the USA. I think with horror how many heavily armed US citizens would fight for their survival.
I think you make a lot of valid points. We see clearly a US/UK EU (unelected) Commission seeking to make/move Power Center of EU to an Eastern controllable block.
Trashing and gutting the previous power holders Germany & France.
Purposely positioning an Eastern block of power the other EU members need to bow down to.
They’ve obvious hold outs, Hungary/Serbia. But, agree, definitely repositioning EU power states. I honestly believe that too will fail. The long traditional France, Spain, Italy axis, with or without Germany is already making protectionist moves.
I am usually a very pragmatic person, and I do not see anything other than foolish rhetoric when it comes to a “war” with China. It’s bluster and flailing.
If we started quadrupling trade, over flow of toilet paper, pharmaceuticals, diapers, electronics… then I’d say: “yeah prepping for something “… but can you imagine an instant .. in one day, nothing leaving Chinese port for US or UK .. on a blink? Within 2 weeks of their “war for democratic rights of Taiwan” the American people would trample the WH.
I’m not saying over a couple of decades we couldn’t recalibrate & decouple some or most of our goods by both adding manufacturing here, and sparsing out to other nations, but American corporations aren’t going to risk that kind of business capital during an obvious downturn.
A WW because & involving Russia, is acutely possible, even by mistake, that’s certainly in their deluded fantasy. But China?? Pfff…only in their fantasies. And anger. Will never happen, it’s a Mafia head shake, nothing else.
The Mafia is just going have to settle and be happy that there cut is reduced, or get nothing.
I agree with most of this. There will be no peace, (who should be part of it, Zel?)- an open conflict is much more interessting to the USA.
The upcoming Tyrkish election in May will be important.
But you should include Georgia and Kazakstan among others.
Western sanctions are the prime mover requiring a logical response by non Westerners to de-dollarize before their US$ and € asstes are frozen and confiscated as Russian assets were. Not interrupting enemies when they are busy cutting their own throats makes sense however blocking exports of rare earths and other strategic items with military applications is a good idea so that the NATO can be more certain that they wont be able to replace weapons consumed easily.
The bio weapons concerns in the joint Putin-Xi statement of 3/22 still need to be urgently addressed given that it was the Obama regime policy that pivoted NATO to a bio weapons future of warfare to eliminate all potential threats both military and economic (ie protect the petro $)
Bioweapons. Sometimes I read or hear something and then I have to step back from that information and walk around it a few times.
Russia had recently presented new material to the world public that is supposed to prove that the US has started up bio labs in Nazi Ukraine again and in this, in addition to the usual civilian pharmaceutical companies (who remembers Biontech? 😉), the US military is financing, organizing, directing and controlling this whole horror. If the US military operates biolabs in the war zone of Nazi Ukraine, then they can only serve one purpose: biological weapons.
But how would Russia react to the use of highly pathogenic biological weapons? We may be talking about tens of millions of civilian casualties. Shrug your shoulders and say, “Tough luck”?
If such a pandemic were to be triggered, then we in Europe would also be affected. I could then imagine that our regimes would again prescribe us a “compulsory vaccination” with an RNA injection from Biontech.
Macron’s ineptitude as a diplomat was vividly displayed by his foolish decision to bring the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, to his meetings with President Xi.
Macron’s plus one carries a diplomat passport. I think the Chinese are deliberately not recognizing it. They are trying to send a message that diplomatic passport of EU commissioner, ECB and EU parliament are not valid in China. Same as EU doesn’t recognize diplomatic passport of AU (African Union) commission
Chinese companies which are 10-15 years old are now filling the void in Russian market. It’s a major boost to their business.
https://youtu.be/GrEzmHHO7ak
IMO the Chinese do not recognize diplomatic passport of unelected people who were planted at their current positions in the European Comission through lobbying and twisting of arms, and de facto act as US agents in Europe.
Europe will not rise its head until all these foreign agents are identified, exposed and brought to justice for their crimens on European people.
The Chinese are just helping in this endeavour…..
EU does not issue passports. It has “laissez-passer” documents
Why do you persist in this sanctimonious terminology “sanctions” ???
It is simply Economic Blackmail or to use the old 1880 Irish term “Boycott”…………..
It is what the Jewish War Veterans group in USA declared on 19 March 1933 against the new German Government and it lasted until December 1941……….
It is what the League of Nations did to Italy in 1935 over Ethiopia and simply ended up allying Mussolini to Hitler in 1936 – even though Nazi Germany had been secretly arming Ethiopia to fight Italy…….
https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/10.12987/9780300262520-011/pdf
That is to ignore FDR’s brilliance in blockading Japan !!!!
Since Western Capitalism formalised JIT and Financialised Globalisation as an economic model it is blatantly obvious “Sanctions” are arrant stupidity.
How can these Buffoons erect an Economic Model and then remove some of its supporting pillars like integrity of contract, property rights, legal impartiality ?
It is a Death Wish – first create a funeral pyre and then jump onto it
To distort Clausewitz, “Sanctions are war by other means.
It’s sad. We’ve went from Washington’s “no foriegn entanglements” and Adam’s “America goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy” to being a sanctimonious zealot looking for any excuse to butt our noses into other countries business. The blood that has been spilled by these A-holes… It’s disgusting! And of course the citizens of this once proud nation are also being pursecuted for not kowtowing to their demented woke ideology.
I agree I also follow Scott Ritter and he was very up front about Americas over 18 thousand different police forces then I was recommended a young now clean Blackmans channel where he took us on a tour of Phildelphia’s drugs crisis It was like a horror film and I wondered then if theyre going to be spending soon to approach nearly a trillion on the military then there is no money for the poor.
As usual, exactly on target. Great article. Specifically and to the point. Yes, the old hegemonic arrangement with the US as the emperor is already rotten and smelly. Time for a multipolar world order. The US should be weakened to such an extent that they would not have the strength for any dictatorship for several decades. The EU should also undergo radical changes, because in the current system it is unacceptable. This is Eurofascism, not a union. So let it happen…
Here’s a little nugget about WW2 that most are unaware off. Why? Because it doesn’t fit the narrative: especially the narrative controlled by the mass media and the tribe.
https://www.unz.com/article/edwin-blacks-the-transfer-agreement/
Von der Leyen was treated like she is, an envoy of the US selling the European people in the altar of mantaining US hegemony so that her family proffits, as they have proffitted in the US since the slavery times..Her family built its fortune on slaves backs….
Von der Leyen, educated in the US, along her husband, should be considered a US agent planted in the European Comission to US beneffit and for the ruin, plundering and enslaving of the European people.
I will not leave this Earth quietly until thus traitor pays for the multi-billion scam related to the US “vaccines” and “arms for Ukraine”, the NS pipeline blow out which made us fully dependent on hyper expensive US LNG, the ongoing genocide of European people through “vaccine” side effects ( highly likely not side at all, but intentional, so that they can not revolt, even if they would want…) and resulting deindustrialization and general empoverishing, as the Europeanas´hard won taxpayers money is drained by her actions to the US deep state….the MIC, US Hedge Funds ( BlackRock, Vanguard…) and Big Pharma.
Von der Leyen, educated in the US………
Enrolled at LSE under the legend “Rose Ladson” using a family name from her US relations…….
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladson_family
Through her American great-grandmother Mary Ladson Robertson, Ursula von der Leyen is a descendant of two of the children of lieutenant governor James Ladson
Which explains why this people have no motherland and why the no reaction to the blowing up of German pipeline….
Her motherland is her money…. wherever it settles/relies….like it is the case of Black Nobility, the owners of the FED….
It’s a thin line between love and hate.
The world would really love to love the US. Until the 1980s the US provided the world with goods, ideas and dreams. But during the last 40 years the goods stopped flowing, the ideas got sparser and now even the dreams have turned into transgender baby unicorn nightmares.
The American hunk that Miss Europe married around 1990 has become a loudmouthed beer-guzzling wife-beater screaming at the television. Whenever he feels for it he rapes her. But it’s been so good to be that little moralizing hypocrite European bitch who can buy all the Louis Vuitton bags she wants. So she has tolerated it. However, lately it’s gone too far. Those forced intercourses were one thing but wrecking her pipeline was a step too far.
To the bitches of the world that boring but strong and steady guy Vladimir down the road looks pretty attractive. Not to mention his little rich friend with the squeaky voice and huge family. He may also be seduced for a little adventure. And of course the French are first out of the door. They’ve never said no to an extramarital ménage à trois.
Larry should keep a copy of that photo of the witch Ursula. It will come in handy in the far/near future, after her arrest.
First: rare earths aren’t literally rare. What they are, is energy and pollution intensive to recover. China is willing to do it, the US and EU aren’t.
Second: note which large entity is completely not represented in the listings above…any EU nation.
Third: Notice how 3 of the nations on the list are sanctioned. 2 more are BRICS and another 2 are no longer US friendly (Saudi Arabia is future BRICS and Iraq is not going to be US friendly for at least a generation, after having literally hundreds of thousands killed due to US “democratization”.
So what’s left is the US and its largely energy resources, Canada with the same energy resources plus some uranium and metals like niobium, and Australia all by its lonesome in the South Pacific.
Alexander Kots (sanctioned journalist by the EU) from Komsomolskaya Pravda has an interview with Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered. What they tell about their training in the UK is quite revealing. The Ukrainian soldier himself calls it money laundering. They were given Kalashnikovs instead of Western weaponry.

Confessions of captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Kiev sacrifices untrained soldiers, trying to buy time for a counteroffensive
The surrendered military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told KP.RU military officer Alexander Kots how they were trained in foggy Albion
“SURRENDER!”
– What’s your name? – I ask the grubby Ukrainian motorized rifleman, who, it seems, has not yet had time to fully realize that he miraculously survived.
– Yuri Gagarin, born in 1981.
– Seriously?
The paratroopers who took the namesake of the first Soviet cosmonaut prisoner confirm that this is his real name on a military ID. Yes, and he was born in the Voronezh region, his father is Russian, his mother is Ukrainian. A year later, the family moved near Kyiv, to Brovary. While my father was alive, they still maintained contacts with relatives in Russia, but after his death, as it was cut off.
School, vocational school, “urgent”, work in the production of fish fillets, mobilization on March 18 last year, training in Chernigov, then moving in the security of the headquarters in different areas, until the difficult one threw me into the forests near Kremennaya. His last hours at the strong point were impartially recorded on the camera of our scouts. It took us a year to get used to filming combat operations from a quadrocopter, but the attack aircraft of the 98th Guards Airborne Division from Ivanovo managed to surprise us. I look at the monitor – like the special effects of an action movie.
At first, the copter at the height of human height flies literally through the forest, masterfully bypassing the trees and inspecting the enemy stronghold. It flies up to the dugouts, looks inside with a zoom, looking for movement. Then they hit the positions – first, tanks unwind the trench, three bodies run out of it and jump into a camouflaged shelter. Our assault group steps in, throwing grenades at him. And now the first Veseushnik carefully crawls out into the world with his hands up. Behind him is another. Apparently, he goes to the cries of our guys …
– I hear – shout: “Surrender!” “Give up!” I answer. They came out, raised their hands, – says Yuri.
WITH AUTOMATIC AGAINST TANKS
– Were there any officers with you?
– No, there were three of us, – says another prisoner – Bogdan Zabolotny from Kiev, shooter of a separate machine-gun platoon of the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In civilian life, he worked at the post office, then as a lawn mower. Mobilized, fought in Bakhmut. True, he assures that he hid more in shelters and almost did not shoot in the direction of ours. But this is a common story for prisoners who want to talk about their “exploits in battle.” Yourself is more expensive.
– On the 7th we reached positions at night. They said to sit. Defend, hold positions. Your us just zafigachili and all. We did not immediately understand what happened.
– How is the moral and psychological state of the personnel in general?
Probably the same as mine. None.
– What, the commanders do not set you up to fight?
– Yes, there is such an attitude … They just imprisoned them with machine guns against tanks, against artillery. Sit, hold. One gets the impression that you will survive these three days – good. They will fill up – so they will fill up.
– Three days is your rotation?
– Yes, but we have different people sit. In Bakhmut day after day they changed. With the mobilization “unlimited” Ukraine can afford it.
– Do you have regular armored vehicles? What are you moving on?
– In their own cars. We travel separately.
– What does private cars mean?
– What everyone bought for himself with a salary.
Here Bogdan is most likely cunning. What was taken from the local population. Old Zhiguli and Muscovites. In the liberated territories, civilians often complain about lawlessness on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For Ukrainian defenders (defenders in Ukrainian), all the inhabitants of Donbass are “Colorados” and “separas”. This means that you can “expropriate” what you liked without any remorse.
PREPARATION IN ENGLISH
By the way, among the prisoners rarely come across residents of Western Ukraine. It seems that people from the central and eastern regions are specially thrown to the front line. The third prisoner who surrendered without a fight was from Dnepropetrovsk. Alexander Motsuh was lucky – he was preparing for the conflict abroad. True, from foreign training, the number of the machine-gun crew, which did not even pass military service, was not enthusiastic. He was called in September last year. A three-week course for a young fighter in Ukraine, and then an internship in Britain.
“I think it’s stupid money laundering,” he says.
– Why?
– Because, the same thing could be done here, in Ukraine, calmly.
The recruits were taken to the border with Poland by bus, where they were transferred to another vehicle – and to the airfield. We flew to the UK on an ordinary passenger plane, landed at night, again on the bus and at the training center.
– How was the training?
– Same as here. Fell, dug, everything is the same as ours.
– Are the instructors British?
– No, Canadian.
– Were you taught to handle Western weapons and military equipment?
– No. We passed our own – AK-47.
– Did they teach you how to handle Kalashnikov assault rifles in Britain?
– Yes.
– How long were the courses?
– I think three and a half weeks.
– What was the daily routine?
– At six o’clock we got up, exercised, showered, had breakfast, then went to study, either in classes, or watched a lecture. Then lunch. Then again classes. Dinner at six or seven in the evening. Then we go to rest and lights out at nine in the evening
– What are the classes?
– Divided into groups. We are 10 people, let’s say we have one instructor. For these 3-4 days – the device of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. The next 3-4 days – how to dress, what weather and season. Next – shooting at different distances. We go into the forest, they will mine something somewhere, and we must find traps.
– That is, engineering training was?
– It’s not engineering training, it’s just knowledge just in case.
– Were you engaged in cartography?
– No. There was no such thing.
– What happened at the end of the course?
– In fact, we had to undergo additional training with us, who would go to what position. But something changed, and we were all scattered into divisions.
FROM THE AUTHOR
Even taking into account the fact that Motsuh may not say something, such training looks, to put it mildly, ridiculous. Canadian instructors in the UK are teaching Ukrainians how to assemble and disassemble the Russian Kalashnikov assault rifle. Despite the fact that Ukraine itself, in the course of a year of hostilities in the largest conflict since the Second World War, gained such tremendous experience that it could well train at least Canadians, at least the British, at least the Poles.
However, it has been very noticeable lately at the Svatovsky line that Kyiv is throwing poorly trained infantry onto the front lines. At the same time, professional shock corps are being formed in the rear, which will be thrown into battle on Western vehicles during the advertised coming counteroffensive. And gagarins and motsukhas are a bargaining chip, sacrificing which the Ukrainian command bargains for time to train assault brigades.
That is a significant snub for Ursula Von der Leyen, I would imagine she was genuinely shocked (overworked word these days but appropriate here).
The natural resources table does not include europe and I can’t find a reliable figure.
Anybody got the value. Thanks…_
In that context everyone should read Julian McFarlane Report.

“Funny thing though, the United States, like the Great and Powerful Oz, is being exposed as a cranky old man hiding behind a curtain.”
This. When does the US fall behind China in terms of world leadership.
If you predict it happens in the near future you have to explain why has the current world leader done such plain stupid things? No vaccine support for rest of world. Pushing Russia well beyond its red lines in E Europe. Backing Nazis!! And the plain bluffs where it tells lies only its own media could swallow – we are in control of Afghanistan, Russiagate, Biden’s laptop is disinformation, Ukraine is winning, still could win….
So I have adopted the view that US fell behind China back in 2016 – roughly when US GDP fell behind on PPP (since PPP understates prices differences on key things like 1000km of hi-speed rail, 100k troops or hypersonics).
This explains so much more. All the lies become understandable – logical even. The threats against Russia and China can be seen in terms of domestic politics alone – Denial absolutely everywhere.
“No vaccine support for rest of world”?
For which the rest of the world is very grateful. Good of you to find the silver lining
“When Russia launched its Special Military Operation in Ukraine in February 2022..”
Wouldn’t it be more correct to say “When Washington started to colonize and usurp Ukraine in the 1990’s and destroyed Democracy in Ukraine with and armed coup in 2014′?
Thanks.
Well, the Chinese just are more loyal to their nation than they are our current governments…
How NATO works on the dinamitation of the Spanish nation-state by promoting seccesionism into it with the aim of pushing further its political and economic tool of domination over Europe, the EU….

Conscious of the real value of Spain for NATO, simply as a slave state to pay for US military abd economic adventures, and for to provide a lab farm camp for free experimentation of bioweapons on humans, hear how much they thank the Ukrainian Azov “recruits” the trainning received in Spain…..which we pay at share Spanish taxpayers….

It is obvious that these nazi scoundrels behave as strom troops of the US Empire even inside Spanish soil….as if it were our obligation to train them to go killing Russians….
As a first sign of an incoming future, here is unique footage of US taxpayers’ money being used for good:

Another thought provoking article, thank you. What has me most worried is the US Congress. We have McCaul saying we are going to “harden” Taiwan. If there is one thing a politician can say that would cause the most damage, that may be it. If China allows that I will have to scratch my head (again) and say, I don’t understand China. These clueless pols vie with each other in making spectacular, inflammatory statements, promising harm on China that we most likely cannot even deliver. When China finally says “no” then we’ll have a showdown of sorts and hopefully a more peaceful geopolitical alignment. I don’t think this happens until the bully (USA) gets his bloody nose good and hard. The bully at that point may thrash about in rage and find a smaller opponent to torment (if he can), or get a weapon, return to the fight, and escallate. Sorry for the schoolyard analogy it seems to fit at least in my simplistic world view (developed mostly through playing countless hours of Risk). Does anyone recall about a year ago US Senator Cornyn tweeted out that we had 30,000 troops on Taiwan? China’s response in the Global Times was something like, if that’s true we’re immediately going to war. Next weapons convoy or flights to Taiwan may be in for a challenge?
Taiwan has an Election in January so US will have to hurry…………even Zelensky faces election in 2024……….von der Leyen is out at end 2024
Poland gets new elections 2023
The Chinese are cowards who have historically under-performed militarily. The Japanese made them howl with less than one tenth of the population.
@ AL NEVSKY
Chinese are cowards???!!
Their population is estimated to be around 1.4 billion.. Are you acquainted with most of them??? I bet you are judging their courage while having access to a ridiculously small sample….
As small as the brain of a racist MoFo can be!!!!
Even in the 13th century, you would have been labelled as a MORON!
STFU
@AL NEVSKYDIOT
Do you know what is the difference between your racist empty brain and a used diaper???
IT IS , FOR US, REALLY HARD TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION!!!!!

It is time to put the straitjacket on you..AGAIN!!! And take your pills…
Feeling numb already?!!
Did Macron and Ursula travel to China on the same plane? Apparently there’s a photo of the two of them and President Xi sitting at the same table. So some sort of official recognition was granted.
Then, or so I hear, she met privately with Xi, but without Macron. It was here, or so I’m assuming, that she said something that really, but really, pissed the Chinese off. I reckon she was asked to leave.
There is speculation that Ursula will be the next head of NATO. Was this what she was playing for?
I worry about what might go down in the Middle East. The US has an army of moderate rebels on tap.
And on an off-topic and personal note, 55 years later and another Bobby Kennedy is running for POTUS. I cling to my optimism.
Thinking about the term “moderate rebel” which I used in a current post, perhaps I’m thinking of attitude and guns, and then it dawned on me that I may have just defined he USA as it is in today’s emerging world.
The role of the US and Israel, and even the UK have always been known. The real charge lately is the covenant of silence seems to be ending. That is huge.
It does not seem that Macron chose the luggage with which he traveled to China. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to so much discrepancy between Macron’s statements and the Dachshund, as George Galloway also called her too! Literally abandoned at Beijing airport by Chinese authorities as Larry also reports. While Xi offered Macron his own father’s house to spend the night!!! An invitation that must not be extended to all world leaders for sure!!! After Macron’s already historic declarations on EU autonomy that must have pleased the Chinese authorities and many French people in France so much!
A dream come true. Xi managed to turn little Macron, without Brigitte, into a little De Gaulle! At Beijing!!!! On perhaps the day of the greatest diplomatic humiliation of the EU through fraud and the greatest failure of its President of the EU Executive Committee! Much worse than when the Sultan also didn’t offer him a chair at a Conference in Istanbul here a few years ago.
Where did sit idiot Charles Michael as President of the European Parliament. Because in reality, many do not understand, but in terms of diplomacy and state protocol, it’s not easy to frame the status of the President of the European Commission. An bureaucrat not elected by popular vote. Despite being the true executive body of the EU, Ursula is not president or representative of a country or even a EU diplomat like Borrell, which lends itself to these sad embarrassment!!!
According to press reports, Ursula also heard from Xi to first stop being a vassal of the US and only then return to China. Let no one convince to do anything against the interests of China and its people, as is usual in Brussels!!! Poor Dachshund. I just hope that with this further humiliation she doesn’t become a spiteful woman as dangerous as Hillarry with horns! Or English head lettuce prepared to use nuclear weapons. because it is also heard that can reach the leadership of NATO!?!? One more waiter from the US. If there is still Nato!
I wellcome her nomination as NATO´s head, as she wastes everything she touches….
Let´s that happen and will be the last nail in NATO´s coffin….
Stoltenberg is a mandated nothing burger, but nobody in Europe pays attention to anything he says, if ever they paid, until the “War of Ukraine” against Russia and Europe was unleashed…
But, Von der Leyen has been singled as the mayor player in the “vaccine” scam and thus in the intent on utter destruction and making them sick and unable for life, of European population.
Let´s see how well it develops….
The ghost in this discussion room is fossil fuels. Leaves all kinds of room to avoid facing what’s at the top and bottom of this world mess. Quoting Jefferson and challenging that quote is so easy.
What IS democracy? Whatever is called Liberal Democracy today has no resemblance whatsoever to the Democracy practiced in Athens or even Rome.
Democracy first and foremost is about The People charting their own course and making their own choices. But as we’ve been told, ‘Democracy’ itself is on the ballot.
In other words, the choice has been taken away, formally.
Justo leo esto, lo explica mucho mejor, y de una manera más metafísica, Diego Fusaro en este ensayo sobre el Homo Resiliens…..
http://geoestrategia.es/index.php/tribuna-libre/40412-resiliencia-una-palabra-del-poder
Estos “intelectuales” fallecidos en los últimos dos años eran, digamos, todos “resilientes”, en le moderno sentido de la palabra, como requirieron los “poderes fácticos” a través de los gobiernos subsidiarios….
There is a lot of anti-American cheerleading on this site. Not by the site owner, but by a lot of commenters. A lot of people on here don’t just want the American empire to fail, they want Americans themselves to pay and they seem to have this misconception that the Empire is good for Americans and that Americans benefit from it. We don’t.
America without the burden of empire is reborn. One can argue all he wants about the differences between reality and semantics, but it has only been in the last thirty years since the fall of the Soviets that the US has more or less embraced the title of empire. And the downfall has been precipitous in that time. If Americans have benefited from a debasement of our currency on the world stage making it easier for us to consume, it is only because it was necessary to keep the masses happy because our empire class had shipped our industry overseas for cheaper labor.
Without empire, America has vast resources and a large, but very uncrowded population. I don’t know what will happen. But the American system of government was not instituted for empire. It was formed to “…secure the blessings of liberty…” for Americans and their progeny. That’s it. I don’t care if the US has absolutely zero impact on the world stage. I won’t care at all as long as we are not being actively invaded.
America is no different than many other countries and empires throughout history. We have a clique in charge now that conflates its wants and desires with the interests of the country and actively despises the people in the country who make it all possible. It won’t last forever and we’ll just have to see what comes next.
In general, I agree with your assessment; I want to see the US become a “normal country” once again. But I think you really should extend the notion that ours is an imperial government back a long way, much further than 1990. The frequent American military incursions in Latin America and the Philippines at the end of the 19th century were certainly imperialistic, albeit on a small scale compared to what we see now. And the war in Vietnam where we wasted lives and treasure devastate a land of no consequence to us was also imperialism, now on a grander scale. I won’t even mention the numerous coups, proxy wars, and terrorist activities conducted by our several intelligence services after World War II, all of the imperialistic persuasion.
As I said, one could argue reality and semantics but up until about 1990, the US was loathe to admit it was an empire. By the end of the 1990s think tanks more or less completely supported by the US government were openly making the case that the US should emulate Rome. Thats a pretty drastic change.
Agreed. I feel the same as a Brit. No doubt many Israelis feel the same.
We are hostages to our elites, who as much of a danger to us as the wider world.
Thirded.
Anti-American cheerleading? You mean complaints against the one nation in the world with 800 military bases, an enormously swollen military budget, a history of conducting war all around the world including overthrowing democratically elected governments, breaker of every single treaty, currently looting Syrian oil and wheat? That country? You’re kidding, right? Love my country, love the Constitution, I would also love it if we really followed it. The Constitution that says, ratified treaties are the LAW OF THE LAND, including the UN Charter, which forbids the threat or the use of force against any nation.
Very good answer DaydremeBeliever!
Tell me when I got a chance to vote for or against any of that. I am no more responsible for any of that than I am what happens in China or Russia. But yet, many on this site think that I benefit from US policy and wish harm on me and may neighbors.
You live in a democracy, so you have to own it. Americans have for decades chosen governments that were imperial in nature. There has never been a mass popular indignation. Acquiescence equals to abetment
We fought a fricking civil war where my side suffered casualties of the extent that if they happened today with today’s population would be the equivalent of 20 MILLION DEAD. There is your popular uprising and its results.
As for the Palestinians. Not my monkey and not my football. You will have to get your own monkey to frick that football. I don’t care enough to protest on the behalf of Palestinians, though I do think they have been mistreated and have cause for grievance.
When have Americans demonstrated on behalf of Palestinian……..ever ?
There have been many of them, they just don’t get any attention from the msm. I have witnessed several but not a single mention of it on the local news
I see this line of thought often on “conservative” sites – “It’s not us, it’s those elites in Washington”. This is no doubt true, but it makes no difference at all.
I can tell you that no one who does no live in the USA makes this distinction in real life, to them you are all America, and the damage you have done is immense.
No forgiveness, no mercy. As far as the rest of the world, all Americans are to blame, as it happened on your watch. If Americans wanted things done differently, they would demand that, would they not. Or they are just sheeple without agency. Either way, ordinary Americans will not escape the consequences of their countries actions, nor do they deserve to do so.
Personally, I have sheeple relatives who live in America, and they are obvlivious to all this, or maybe they don’t want to know. I don’t talk to them anymore, since I did tell them what I thought of them and their country, which they found shocking and almost incomprehensible.
Karma is a bitch, and no amount of disclaimjing will prevent it.
That’s the end of Wind Turbines and EV’s then the US and EU better start drilling and fracking eh?
Maybe a hard dose of reality will be a good thing in the long run the Green fantasy has been doing untold economic damage to the West.
A new attempt by Western civilization to seize the wealth of Russia that must end in another failure like Napoleon and Hitler. It seems that Western white racists should be thinking about living off their own work and leaving other people’s wealth alone.
Agreed. As a white American I am one hundred percent in favor as long as all the recent immigrants or “brown people” since you chose to bring race into it, pack their shit and carry their asses back to whatever shit holes from whence they came.
In which case you too have to go back to Europe…..give America back to native Americans, and to African Americans, as reparation for slavery
Oh, I’m Choctaw. That’s “white” in Little Dixie, but you don’t know shit from Shinola about the America.
That’s extremely ignorant. The native Americans are extinct, they were killed off by the mongaloids that came over from Siberia during the last ice age. When the Europeans arrived the country was already occupied by immigrants.
[some of this is raw personal opinion/observation]
The USA come to Jesus moment ………..
……………and return to world power in some thing like the old order
…………..would be a balanced federal budget.
SSI is repairable, unfortunately – Medicare/caid is not functional in the present benefit payout form. Huge political swings would be needed to return political power to the states, as well as much of the funding and spending that the fibbies now do.
Military spending would have to be slashed. Fed agencies that are not constitutionally mandated, would have to be returned to the states. Dept of Education… all of it.
A slashed USA military budget would undoubtedly boost a multi polar world model.
The US military defends the dollar as well as controls govts that are not USA compliant. Saudia Arabia partially leaving the SWIFT bank transfer system…is equal in significance to the first atomic bomb dropped on Japan. Power is shifting east.
The USA cannot fund another big war…. well, it can be done, but it will blow the currency.
Many commentators speak to the federal reserve raising interest rates to save the currency or lowering interest rates to save the banks. Jumbo shrimp.
The compromise has been federalizing the banks … printing to make all depositors whole, such as with SVB. FDIC is now a decoration…. the print method to back stop the banks will kill the currency… but it is slow. There are so many dollars in existence over seas.
The USA has lots of gold…in the ground. If a portion of that gold was out of the ground, and in govt banking vaults… fully accounted…. transparent…the currency could possibly survive with some value. Gold in US vaults could backstop both the banks and the currency.
As an example: You go up to the North slope in Alaska… at night you can see the glow from the natural gas they are burning off the oil wells. No pipeline to a onshore LNG plant. We could use that resource…or trade that resource… if we were to capture it.
Much of the USA’s problems could be fixed with political will and some good old common sense.
He who has the gold….makes the rules…
…….one could debate in the fiat printed money era…he who has the guns makes the rules. Eventually, however… printed money won’t buy guns…. and your back to …
…..gold :
World mine reserves of gold by country 2022
Published by
M. Garside
,
Feb 14, 2023
In 2022, the United States was estimated to have some 3,000 metric tons of gold reserves in mines. Thus, the U.S. was one of the leading countries based on mine reserves of gold. Australia is estimated to have the largest gold mine reserves worldwide.
Australia and Russia hold the largest reserves of gold
Australia and Russia hold a large share of the world’s gold mine reserves, accounting for 8,400 metric tons and 6,800 metric tons, respectively. Worldwide, the production of gold reached an estimated 3,100 metric tons in 2022. That same year, China produced about 11 percent of the world’s gold.
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-54230737
https://www.statista.com/statistics/248991/world-mine-reserves-of-gold-by-country/
You may wonder why is that being Russia one of main holders of mine gold reserves, it has not a say in the LBMA…
Is the current “green reset” directed at creating a new gold standard for reserve currency where the price/value will be fixed by the LBMA this way eliminating Russia as participant in the fixation of oil price and thus influencing the old petro-dollar´s value?
That would imply that the destroying of the petro-dollar as reserve currency is a planned action by AngloSaxon players even when detrimental to their oil industry…
Is the current banking crisis a way to reagroup the marker power in less hands?
Who are the LBMA Market Makers?
Citibank N A.
Credit Suisse AG Zurich.
Goldman Sachs International.
HSBC.
JP Morgan Chase Bank.
UBS AG.
Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc.
Notice that Dimon from JP Morgan is leading this banking reset…..
Will the Russians build another gold market in the East along the Chinese who are currently members of the LBMA?
Gold is probably the most political and manipulated of raw materials…even more so than oil. Highly manipulated by govts/central banks. By some estimates… each ounce on the LBMA is thought to be owned by up to 200 people. Paper gold.
When ever power shifts, some body gains wealth, some body loses wealth. The BRICs have gold clearing houses. India, China and the Islamic countries all have a very strong “gold culture”. Every thing from trade to wedding dowry is in gold.
The COMEX…the “crime-ex” will become irrelevant in metals clearing and pricing in due course. A “can not deliver” event is in the offing. All the paper gold… when entities demand gold in hand… the exchange will collapse.
It’s not there. They don’t have it.
PS: Don’t forget the derivatives…and there are plenty of gold derivatives …

this is a good piece Larry, A+, 20/20 vision,
you’ve filtered out the background noise and focussed on the salient points,
on the one hand you have people assembling daily Presidential briefings for the leadership,
but in a democracy where government ought to be by the people, for the people, we need daily Peoples briefings,
this was the task of the 4th estate, the legacy media, to examine events and hold the government to account,
unfortunaltely they are derelict in their duty and the baton has passed to the alternate media,
I thank you for this service to the people, your fellow men and, of course, women.
> “Four of the top six countries in terms of wealth from natural resources are now uniting against the United States as a consequence of the war in Ukraine.”
Anyone who thinks we’re just going to accept this is not living in reality.
It was inevitable that we’d reach this point – more and more people competing for limited resources, and some country or group of countries wanting to challenge us.
This is precisely why we’ve spent decades and untold trillions of $ on the biggest global military machine the world has ever seen. When “soft power” will no longer work, we’ve built the ultimate hammer to ensure compliance.
We’ll make the world an offer it can’t refuse.
We are entering the most dangerous time in history, because the United States of America is not about to just go home and curl up in a ball. We are not going to close down our 800 worldwide military bases, mothball our global Navy, decommission all of our nuclear weapons and submarines, and forego the use of whatever top secret terrestrial and space based weapons we have developed.
Both political parties are in lockstep on this. There is not a single voice in any position of power who is going to oppose unleashing the full might of our arsenal to ensure that we maintian our stated position of “Full Spectrum Dominance” – control of land, sea, air and space and all attendant resources.
There ain’t no Plan B, folks.
I am reminded of a scene from the movie, ‘Three Days of the Condor’:
Higgins: It’s simple economics. Today it’s oil, right? In ten or fifteen years, food. Plutonium. Maybe even sooner. Now, what do you think the people are gonna want us to do then?
Joe Turner: Ask them?
Higgins: Not now – then! Ask ’em when they’re running out. Ask ’em when there’s no heat in their homes and they’re cold. Ask ’em when their engines stop. Ask ’em when people who have never known hunger start going hungry. You wanna know something? They won’t want us to ask ’em. They’ll just want us to get it for ’em!
The US has been losing wars for decades. And they’re losing now.
What makes you think they are suddenly going to start winning wars against countries ten times stronger than countries they’ve been losing against?
> “The US has been losing wars for decades. And they’re losing now.”
Apparently, you bought in to the PR reasons for fighting these wars – “WMDs” or “war on terror” or “Get Osama!” or whatever you are spoon fed by the MSM for the latest war.
These wars aren’t meant to be “won” in some WWII sense. They are meant to be fought for years on end in order to enrich the already mega-rich.
As Professor Peter Phillips explains:
The few thousand people controlling global capital amount to less than 0.0001 percent of the world’s population. They are the transnational capitalist class (TCC), who, as the capitalist elite of the world, dominate nation-states through international treaty agreements and transnational state organizations such as the World Bank, the Bank for International Settlements, and the International Monetary Fund. The TCC communicates their policy requirements through global networks such as the G-7 and G-20, and various nongovernmental policy organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberger Group. The TCC represents the interests of hundreds of thousands of millionaires and billionaires who comprise the richest people in the top 1 percent of the world’s wealth hierarchy. Ironically, the extreme accumulation of concentrated capital at the top creates a continuing problem for the TCC, who must continually scour the world for new investment opportunities that will yield adequate returns.
War is one use for over-accumulated capital. A permanent war on terror offers a unique opportunity for the TCC to loan capital at a profit to governments for military actions, and to participate in rebuilding efforts made necessary by war. The collection of taxes on working people’s incomes to pay for permanent war results in increasing pressure toward neoliberal governmental austerity measures, which further impoverish the 99 percent and transfer yet more wealth to the global 1 percent.

None of these countries where we fought wars – from Vietnam to Iraq to Afghanistan – posed any threat to U.S. global hegemony. The fact that millions were killed, maimed and displaced – including Americans – is of no import to the people who run the show. It’s all a way for them to get richer. The rest of us are just fodder.
The weapons manufacturers love it. We use up billions of $ worth of weaponry and it all has to be replaced. Even now in Ukraine, all of the munitions expended will need to be replaced and every NATO country is going to have to re-arm and pony up to pay for it.
STOCK TIPS: General Dynamics, Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. Can’t lose.
If we had actually wanted to “win” any of these wars, we would have done what Senator Barry Goldwater in 1964 advocated in Vietnam (and what cost him the election).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riDypP1KfOU
So don’t confuse any of this with what we will do when faced with an actual existential threat to U.S. global hegemony. That’s when the hammer drops.
Your biggest mistake is confusing most expensive with most effective when it comes to military equipment. There are many great examples but my favorite comes from NASA during the Apolo program. Those idiots spent 4 million dollars developing a ball point pen that would write in outer space, the Soviets simply used a 3 cent indelible pencil. Guess what they did the exact same job. There are a million other examples that are even more ridiculous. History clearly shows what really wins wars and its not ridiculously overpriced weapons. Think f35, the osprey, the Bradley fighting vehicle, and the LCS debacle. Natural resources and the ability to turn them into weapons is what has always won wars. The usa has very few resources left and next to zero manufacturing capability. Where will they get the weapons to “drop the hammer” on the rest of the world? All of nato can’t keep up with the consumption of arms by the ukronazis who are only engaged with about 8% of the RF military. What will happen when Russia decides to go all in? It is highly doubtful you could even defeat Iran. You stand zero chance against a Russia China alliance. You should seriously consider stopping your consumption of msm propaganda.
Totila says:
“There is a lot of anti-American cheerleading on this site. …”
I agree and I think this is really sad. From a non- American view I would prefer the US over China any time if it just came to its senses before it is too late. Having just goodbyed Chinese guests from my home I do not know if theirs is a model that I would cherish. Let´s hope that multipolarity does not end up as simply the exchange of the hegemon. Btw, Douglas Murray of the British Telegraph echoes Larry´s view in his comment today: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/04/07/america-burns-xi-jinpings-plot-dominate-world-succeeding/
Invariably the Chinese will move from commerce to actual military and political domination of others. America of the 1890s was a lot like China is now. A commercial powerhouse that had not yet completely made the commitment to a military to match its commercial and industrial might, but everyone everywhere could see it coming.
When the Chinese do make the move, it will eventually go as badly for them as it has for everyone else eventually. Empires do not remain static. They either expand or contract. If they contract, they stagnate into collapse. If they expand, they eventually expand to the point of being unmanageable and fiscally impossible. It always a happens.
Douglas Murray is a 24 carat neocon.
Although he is excellent at doing demolition jobs on Wokeness, his geopolitical analysis is more John Bolton than JB himself.
When I was in China and Taiwan in the 90’s I learned a lot, much with the help of a Ph.D. colleague who acted as my translator in the PRC. First and fore most, China wants to be left alone, and they have long memories of all those who have interfered in their business, whether the British in the Opium wars, the Japanese, or the Americans who killed Chinese in the Boxer rebellion and supported Chiang Kai Shek in the Civil war. Now China is expanding its influence to generate a buffer against potential enemies like the US.
People in China and Taiwan all agree that Taiwan is part of China, and disagree as to who the legitimate government is, Taiwan being the final haven of Kai Shek.
Riding with a senior CCP official, we passed a Honda factory and I asked about it, knowing the Chinese hate the Japanese, wondering why they allowed it there. His response was it was useful at the time, but there would come a day when they would take it over.
They have a longer view of things, and patiently wait for the right time. If the US wants a hot war with China, all they have to do is recognize Taiwan as a separate country, and maybe send some troops there. That would be considered an invasion.
Then the question would be how many hyper sonic missiles would it take to neutralize the whole Pacific fleet, maybe borrow a few from Russia. Then just blockade the Island. 21st century warfare is much different as Russia and China have game changing tech that the US can’t stop. They can’t even do a successful hyper sonic test. Meanwhile I suspect the Russians have the best missile defence as they likely developed a counter to hyper sonics concurrently to the missiles themselves.
China understands influence versus fear and force. They too have “red lines” as happened in Korea when they decided enough was enough and brought that conflict to a standstill, with no tech and not much for basic equipment. Fast forward 70 years and now they have both money and equipment, plus Russia as a friend. The US has a crumbling economy, with credit collapsing, small business financing falling off a cliff, a huge debt bubble, no way to finance a war, no capacity to supply equipment for one, and nobody interested in fighting.
Just like Hemingway’s bankruptcy, the collapse will be first slowly, then suddenly. The real question is how, as a nation, we replace the mess with something that works better for ordinary people and prevent some kind of totalitarian regime. The seeds of destruction are sown, but what will we plant in their place?
> “Then the question would be how many hyper sonic missiles would it take to neutralize the whole Pacific fleet”
Yeah, I guess if China wants to be turned into a sheet of glass, that’s what they’d do.
The US idea of diplomacy would be to send Boris Johnson and Anthony Blinken to China to lecture them on the benefits of the Opium Wars and the Boxer Rebellion. (Macron probably pitched Airbus, not Boeing.) Simple Game Strategy would indicate that China AND Russia will seek to develop cooperative alliances and will seek to weaken US/Nato alliances. Also, IMHO, the consequence, intended or not, of the the recent release of TS information will be to further damage trust in the US. Who would want to be a partner with a country offering no prestige and of no substance unless under compulsion?
Masr says:
[The US] also has huge population and high consumption.
It’s society, economy, culture etc are all geared on consuming excessive quantities and nothing can fix it except a complete rethinking of how It lives. That rethink is not going to happen in a hundred years.
The US can continue to be rich even if its empire dies. For starters, the country will have plenty of energy: according to the MIT Energy Initiative the Sun shines down 10,000 times more than the world’s total power usage.
With enough energy, much is possible.
The US idea of diplomacy would be to send Boris Johnson and Anthony Blinken to China to lecture them on the benefits of the Opium Wars and the Boxer Rebellion. Roger Waters, in his recent interview with Michael Smerconish, showed he was well aware of the facts behind the current attempts of the USA to cling onto its waning hegemony. It seems to me he was also prophetic. I remember well his 1977 lyrics to the song “Dogs” which is a good allegory to the USA in its decline.
Verse 3 in particular is apt:
And when you lose control
You’ll reap the harvest you have sown
And as the fear grows
The bad blood slows and turns to stone
And it’s too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around
So have a good drown, as you go down all alone
Dragged down by the stone
Dear Sir,
I read many chronicles about Strategy and Economics in various languages, but it had been a long time since I had read an analysis as lucid and brilliant as yours, Mister Johnson!
The United States should have you -or someone like you – in charge of this thoughts about Foreign Relations…
Xi Jinping’s reception to President Macron (completely ignored by the MSM)
It is the most extraordinary reception,
– and a brotherly one – that has been seen in the Protocol, show by several awesome Videos ! walking and talking calmly…
Through millennial ancient gardens prohibited to foreigners !
The solemn Tea ceremony, finally, everything !
Xi Jinping’s bodily and non-verbal attitude towards Macron is surely the same how Ghengis Khan made Marco Polo his ally!
Millennial thoughts,
the most sensitive interpretation of TAO…
The delicacy and subtlety to ignore Mrs Von der Lyen, the President of the EU, – no photography or video – establishes the differences !
President Macron returns from his trip to China, -religiously confirmed-
that he is the new and only leader of the EU!
And finally a word about all these “Sensitive Strategic information” that have leaked yesterday and days gone by…
perhaps now we will understand where they come from -really-
Thanks Larry!
great post!!
The globalists are desperate to come to terms with the PRC: that’s the good news. The bad news is that Comrade Winniepooh is increasingly desperate too, and he will agree to terms with the globalists rather than suffer revolt from within–from within the CCP, not merely the Chinese people. PRC’s largely self-inflicted problems are a falling knife (a common theme these days), one Russia can’t catch and hopefully isn’t foolish enough to try. The globalists probably recognize the futility as well, but they still command vast treasures and have proven themselves willing to expend it for tactical gain–and they are desperate.
For the many here who believe USA is the source of the globalist cancer, well, we will just have to wait and see.
Macron may have signed his death warrant, there’s an American Embassy in Paris, Victoria Nuland could be on the plane just as we speak together with a box of cookies, she’s experienced in naming Presidents to the liking of the American governing elite, watch this space.
This whole Taiwan thing has been a long time comin’. One of two thing will happen:
Mainland China will attain control of it peacefully or
Mainland China will attain control after a bloody military conflict – that could even go nuclear.
The one thing that will NOT happen is Taiwan becoming an independent county and living in peace 100 miles off the coast of Mainland China. So of course, what the US is doing is what it always does: promise the people of the region that we “have their back” and will be willing and able to defend them in perpetuity. That’s not “helping”. That’s just instigating trouble whether or not the instigators fully realize it or not.
Taiwan has 24 million people. It might be nice for them to be an independent country, but that’s not in the cards. It is what it is. They are 2% of the population of China. We’re on the other side of the planet. It’s none of our business. The best thing we could do for the people of Taiwan is to tell them the truth: We don’t even have the ability, much less the inclination to ensure their ongoing independence from Mainland China.
China & Ukraine have done very well with funding Brandon. In 28 months he has destroyed Western credibility (perhaps Western Civilization itself), enriched Ukrainian oligarchs and made China a shining example of reasonableness. He has transformed the American cry for freedom and individuality into tyranny and the collective madness of pronouns. None in the so-called developing world or Russia want anything to do with the ‘new’ Brandon America. A true ‘Manchurian Candidate’.
Denatizification is a justification for the Russia/Nato War. Perhaps it is time in the West to for a similar ‘Woke’ purge. Reason is no longer a weapon when denial of biology and real science is the opposition. Send the Jacobins to Madame Guillotine while we knit watchng television.
As an American it’s difficult to watch my country decompose. Thirty or more years of endless wars, orchestrated division in the country and government promoted degeneracy.
As mad as hell. Thanks for the recommendation. I have never ever heard from this, but recommend ELO: Here is the news. Similar.
Great song because this video, back in the eighties, my mistrust in the western news started.
China understood well, that the best you can make out of 1300 million people is not to apply for western charity, what happened to Africa for 100 years, but to learn the western technology and to work hard.
This is what happened in Japan in the 19th century, in South Korea after WW2, and then in China. Only difference: now we don’t talk about small occupied countries, but about a country, that is bigger than EU and USA together.
Whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad. We Europeans should know.
I recently discovered Larry’s blog after being immensely impressed by his appearances on Judging Freedom on YouTube! As a NZer from a small Country at the bottom of the World, I find all this Geopolitical information that Larry provides, fascinating & insightful, as we get the standard Western nonsense & propaganda downunder here as well, our local Media is totally biased & captured by fake narratives & misinformation? It’s obvious that Larry is a Loyal Patriot & honourable man who is just highlighting his Country’s mistakes in a effort to wake his people & others up & inform them throughout the World of the dangers of US Hegemony & Larry reminds me of Edward Abbey who wrote that “A Patriot must always be ready to defend his Country against his Government “! This is clearly the most dangerous transition period in History from a Unipolar World to a Multipolar World? I now look forward to Larry’s Sonar 21 articles like a Kid looks forward to opening his presents on Xmas Day. Thank you so much Larry for everything you do, your a legend in my Books & it’s a damn shame that the US doesn’t have men like you in Leadership roles in America, perhaps it wouldn’t be in the mess it is now if they had more people like you. Keep up the great work.
I’m honored and humbled by your comment. It inspires me to continue doing the best I can.
So honoured that you replied to my comment Larry, I never expected such a busy man to take the time out from your busy schedule to reply, that’s incredible, so thank you. I’ve just seen your most recent appearances on Judging Freedom & with Gonzalo Lira & Ray McGovern & they are superb & it gives me hope that America can pull back from the brink thanks to folks like you! Here in NZ today there’s a ludicrous rumour that NZ, as the weakest part of the 5 eyes is being blamed for this Document leak but after watching your appearances on YouTube, this is a impossible scenario but it seems like a convenient scapegoat is being setup? Larry, your example shows that it is possible to be a Patriot who loves his Country but you also possess a Worldview as someone who appreciates that there is a World that exists outside of the sphere of America & the cloistered insular mentality most Americans possess that have hopes & dreams for a better life, just like them? And the only way to achieve this is through Peace & not war! I’ve been on Earth 61 yrs & in that time I’ve seen a once great Nation called America which was something we aspired to in NZ become a shadow of itself, it’s unrecognisable! Citizens outside of the US have peoples & cultures, but we all are Human beings we aren’t just pieces on a chessboard to be manipulated at will by psychotic Neocons who are the enemies of all of us in the World? Thanks Larry for exposing our real enemies & God Bless you, Larry you are on the right side of History & demonstrate Human decency concerns for your fellow men & women & I applaud you in everything you do to get the truth out there. Thank you.
New Leaks Today.
Ukonazis upset. US spying on Zelinsky.
SURPRISE, SURPRISE.
Story is on Zerohedge. Could not bring link on myvphone.
Go to http://www.zerohedge.com top of page.
It is blowing up
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/us-spying-zelensky-heres-whats-known-so-far-leaked-intelligence-files
I think Zelinsky’s days are numbered. He knows too much and has for sure a lot of dirt on Biden, and Obama.
Is the US setting up Zelensky and Ukrainian military leadership as failures for a reason for talk to Russia and end the fighting or make Americans think it is over?
Then the uniparty can concentrate on agenda of pushing pedophile and gender confusion lifestyles to the world.
Today Russia still supplies about 25% of the enriched uranium used by US nuclear reactors.
I am surprised Russia has not cut it off yet
Well this should stop ASAP!!!
USA is always behaving like the Russian’s worst enemies… Russia should export nothing to USA or Nato countries! At least until they change their disgusting White Supremacist attitude!
Yes everything you state is exactly the same way we see it out here.
The west has no idea how to behave any differently so they just keep doubling down.
When I think of the west diplomacy I think obiden’s
red faced rabble-rousing State of Union rant where he pounded the podium like some psychopathic idiot.
You will comply!!!
Larry for all we know you could be a honeypot: ) like beyond top secrect.
I am not an expert in anything. I have a degree in history and have been to many countries for strikly commecrial purposes. Never been in Russia.
For me if the NYT and the WA Po are publishing, they are reducing the load on the sanitation system of both cities.
The classic giveaway shakesperian in depth is the USA has so many sources deep in Russian that they give away target locations. Come on people, this is not a movie anymore.
Judith I love you Judith, how about you print this story, deep source like my member in your mouth.
Steve
I accept you did not post my previous comment. It could be viewed as an incitement to…
However, the same ‘you cannot reason with these people’ was raised by Jason Whitlock on Tucker.
An ideology is an explanation of the way the world works without ‘God’. A theology is an explanation of how it works with ‘God’. Both are belief systems. The original by Compte du Tracy, was ‘the science of ideas’. But, both are belief systems. Evidence contradicting ‘the Narrative’ are simply ignored. Both require ‘ a mind freeze’.
So anti-Enlightenment!
For my part, I accept Robert Boyle’s ‘Latitudinalist Compromise’. (supported by Newton): God set the Laws of Nature in motion and walked away. No more miracles; no more intervention. It is up to humanity about what happens next.

Peace & Love, but not with my money.
Hope springs eternal given the clarity of your thought. Thank you.
I have not read all of the comments here so, someone might have posted this article. It explains how, in the current financial/trade etc climate, Russia is in an excellent position. It is long, but the writer explains the current global positions well – even for a layman. https://simplicius76.substack.com/p/the-truth-about-russias-economic
ironic that list being in USD. of course, the intrinsic value of the resources will never change, no matter what happens to the USD
