Have you heard of the “International Rules Based Order?” Russia, according to Washington and NATO, is violating those rules (China too) and must be punished. We can’t have “rule breakers” mucking up global tranquility can we?
Since 1945, the United States has pursued its global interests by building and maintaining various alliances, economic institutions, security organizations, political and liberal norms, and other tools — often collectively referred to as the international order. . . .
Building an international order has been a formal program of U.S. foreign policy since at least the 1940s and an aspirational goal since the nation’s founding. According to its post–World War II architects, the international order protects U.S. values by maintaining an environment in which the ideals of a free and democratic society — like that of the United States — can flourish. The United States has used both power and idealistic notions of shared interests to underwrite the rules-based order. In this sense, it employed both hard and soft power to construct the order.
https://www.rand.org/pubs/research_reports/RR1598.html
Got it? The so-called international order basically is a systemis of rules that the United States sets and arbitrarily decides whether or not a foreign country is complying or disobeying. The bottom line? These “rules” are designed to promote U.S. interests at the expense of others.
What is a rule? It is, “an authoritative, prescribed direction for conduct, especially one of the regulations governing procedure in a legislative body or a regulation observed by the players in a game, sport, or contest.” In theory, the rule is supposed to apply to everyone.
Let’s take basketball (appropriate in light of March Madness currently underway in the United States) and look at how genuine rules are supposed to work in a competitive environment. There is a set amount of time for a college game — 40 minutes, two 20 minute halves. You, as a rules official, cannot arbitrarily give one team that you like more time to play in hopes that they score more points and finally prevail. Any player who makes a basket outside the 3 point line is awarded 3 points for his team. Any player who possesses the ball and takes more than two steps without dribbling is guilty of traveling and the ball is turned over to the other team.
When we look at the so-called international rules to promote global order a very different picture emerges. We are essentially talking about an international casino and the United States traditionally has behaved like a crooked dealer who makes sure that friends of the casino win. Here is one example. If protestors take to the streets and try to overthrow a government the United States likes, that is bad and those protestors must be punished. However, if the government has fallen out of favor with the United States then the protestors are sanctified beings carrying out God’s will and must be supported.
Iran is a case in point. Last October, Washington cheered on protests in Iran and punished Iranian authorities for trying to quell the activity:
The United States on Wednesday imposed a slew of new sanctions against Iranian officials involved in the ongoing crackdown on nationwide protests in Iran – the latest US response to Tehran’s efforts to quash outrage after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.
“It has been 40 days since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in the custody of Iran’s so-called ‘Morality Police,’ and we join her family and the Iranian people for a day of mourning and reflection,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.
“The United States is committed to supporting the Iranian people and ensuring that those responsible for the brutal crackdown on the ongoing nationwide protests in Iran are held accountable,” Blinken said. “Today, we are announcing a joint action between the State and Treasury Departments designating 14 individuals and three entities using five different authorities, demonstrating our commitment to use all appropriate tools to hold all levels of the Iranian government to account.”
https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/06/politics/us-iran-sanctions/index.html
Ditto for Georgia (the country not the state). When the legislature in Tbilisi passed a law intended to limit foreign interference in Georgia, protestors took to the streets and battled police in early March:
Police in the Georgian capital Tbilisi used tear gas, water cannon and stun grenades late on Wednesday as they moved to break up the second straight day of protests against a “foreign agents” law which critics say would limit press freedom and undercut the country’s efforts to become a candidate for EU membership.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/mar/08/georgia-opposition-protests-tbilisi-law-parliament
And Washington’s response to that “violent insurrection?”
In Washington, State Department spokesman Ned Price voiced solidarity with the protestors.
“We urge the government of Georgia to respect the freedom of peaceful assembly and peaceful protests,” Price said. “We are standing with the people of Georgia and the aspirations that they have.”
If you watched any of the videos of the Georgia protests, they were not peaceful.
Quite a contrast to what took place in the United States on January 6, 2021, when Donald Trump supporters surrounded the U.S. Capitol. The Trump supporters are condemned, prosecuted and imprisoned as insurrectionists bent on sedition. The evidence from that day indicates that agents of the U.S. Government (as well as a few Ukrainian members of AZOV) were in the crowd trying to stir them to violence. Once those protestors entered the Capitol, very few participated in acts of violence. But, because they opposed Joe Biden, they are treated as despicable criminals. Tucker punches back against the Biden Administration propaganda meme.
Iran, who was widely condemned in Europe for its response to protestors, is having great fun with French President Macron’s response to French citizens angry over raising the retirement age without a vote by the French legislature:
Iranian authorities commented on the mass protests and strikes in France. According to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani, official Paris should listen to the French people and abandon the “barbaric methods of violence against people defending their democratic rights”.

Rules about protests are small potatoes compared to the Big rule about not carrying out military activities in a foreign country unless you have been invited to send your forces to provide assistance or you have been attacked. The United States and NATO insist that Russia is a major violator of this rule and must be punished. Russia, for its part, argues that it is acting to protect Russian speaking Ukrainians who have been shelled relentlessly by the Government of Ukraine since 2014 and to oppose NATO’s expansion to its borders.
Neither Russia nor China give any credence to complaints and outrage from the West because of America’s own sordid record of military campaigns in Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Panama, the former country of Yugoslavia, Somalia and Afghanistan.
Here is the harsh truth about the Rules Based International Order. It is an anachronism created in the wake of World War II by the United States, it is unraveling and the Biden Administration continues to enact policies that will hasten its demise.
Keep your eye on Israel. It is being wracked with protests over a proposed law to strip its Supreme Court of power and consolidate that power with the Executive. The rifts within Israel are profound and widening by the day. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired the Defense Minister today and Israel’s Consul General resigned in protest.
Why do I bring this up? Because there is no signal yet from the Biden Administration whether it will bless these protests as “following the international rules” or condemn Netanyahu as a violator of those rules.
Laments about the “International Based Rules of Order” exposes the fact that America no longer has the strength nor the ability to impose its will on others. China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, India and South Africa, to mention a prominent few, are awake to this reality and are busy creating an alternative international order that will put the United States on the sidelines. I believe this is the most important consequence of the proxy war between NATO and Russia in Ukraine. The weak underbelly of America has been exposed and no amount of threats or sanctions from Washington will change that reality.
“Rules based order” should be understood as a punch line.
I’d like to punch whoever decided to declare the ‘rules-based international order’ as de jure without defining exactly what rules are contained within the ‘rules-based international order’.
I suppose it’s akin, in more ways than one, to that decades old judicial definition of pornography: “I’ll know it when I see it”.
Rules are what you hide behind when you are a war criminal.
Should actually be understood as Millions of Americans are ready to die to enforce this.
Empires require mobilisation and sacrificial soldiers to enforce power relationships.
USA has lived on the cheap with a mere 58,000 in Vietnam and 300,000 in WW2 and few civilians. Now step up to the plate and put millions of US lives on the table to play this wager………..
It just means “do what we fucking tell you”.
Calvinball…
“Why do I bring this up? Because there is no signal yet from the Biden Administration whether it will bless these protests as “following the international rules” or condemn Netanyahu as a violator of those rules..”
LMAO…
Sorry…where does anyone come off on voicing oppinions over the chosenites? You need to figure this out for Yourself – and fast!
Netenyahoo scrapped the judicial changes today due to protests

Voltairenet views the coup on Israel as being Straussian with Elliot Abrams having a leading role………..
Biden may condemn but the Straussian want Netanyahu to make the Executive into Leviathan……..
They are after all re-wired Trotskyites
Trotskyites acting like classical fascists. Rewired ideologically perhaps but driven by the same rules-based thingamajig. Who would’ve thunk.
Two sides of the same coin I guess. Anybody have a better explanation?
Biden et al want Netanyahu removed and will side with the protesters. While president, Obama sent a team to help the left beat Netanyahu in a previous election (the team failed and Bibi won). Some believe that the protests in Israel are engineered as another color revolution like the state department is trying to do in Hungary to outst Orban. Neither Bibi nor Orban obey the world order enough to suit the crowd in DC, and Bibi turned Israel’s economy to a free market in defiance of the socialists there (he is not a “re-wired Trotskyite” as you say.. I have been watching the state department for 50+ years and as far as I can tell they don’t want Israel to exist at all.
Voltairenet views the coup on Israel as being Straussian with Elliot Abrams having a leading role………..
Biden may condemn but the Straussian want Netanyahu to make the Executive into Leviathan……..
They are after all re-wired Trotskyites ……..and World Revolution was Lev Bronstein’s obsession………
Or, as Don Corleone might have put it: “We make the rules; you obey the orders.”
With the media following in proper tow:
An interesting excerpt from FP https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/03/23/xi-putin-meeting-china-russia-undeclared-alliance/
Its (China’s) diplomats and propaganda megaphones echo even Russia’s most extreme claims about the war, blaming NATO for ignoring Russia’s “legitimate concerns” and suggesting the United States wants to “fight till the last Ukrainian.”
Strange, I always thought nation-states had legitimate concerns without it being labelled an extreme claim and I’d thought ‘fighting to the last Ukrainian’ by the evidence itself was by now a universally accepted meme.
I would posit that labeling such as these as ‘extreme claims’ are extremist in themselves. But there’s the rules-based order for you. Would you like fries with your order, sir?
“We set the rules, we define the history and as those rules and history are methodically set in stone, we’ve already moved on to the next and so shall our castles be built.”
Of course it means just that and that the officials uttering this nonsensical phrase can do it with a straight face and with the utmost seriousness is simply beyond my comprehension.
It means “He who pays the bills makes the rules.” Once there are other options, refuse the money. But, while 85% of the rest of the world may be refusing US money to be kept in line, they’ll now move to accepting Chinese money….to be kept in line.
Curious: how does blowing up an $11 billion underwater gas pipeline comport with this “rules based order”?
how does blowing up an $11 billion underwater gas pipeline comport with this “rules based order”?
It’s addressed in Special Provision No. 35 in Annex IV.
BTW: Isn’t it curious that a bureaucratic behemoth like the EU, so enamored of putting its ubiquitous committees and councils to work drafting so many new laws and regulations seems not to have been interested in the slightest in codifying this rules-based thingamajig.
Afraid of being slapped down by the headmaster, no doubt.
Caitlin Johnstone pointed out that the US really wants you to know it’s the leader:
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/johnstone-us-officials-really-really-want-you-know-us-worlds-leader
Funny thing is, if you have to keep telling everybody you’re in charge, or the best, or the most powerful, you probably aren’t.
The “rules based order” is a euphemism for a system where the US tells everybody else what to do, however capriciously it may be. Years ago I explained to a friend from India that there was merely a perceptual problem: the rest of the world looked at a globe and thought of the US as a country in North America, whereas the US would spin the globe and consider all of it as theirs. Just a minor difference of opinion, that’s all.
And now, the rest of the world is setting about clarifying that perceptual discrepancy. Meanwhile, people like Kirby are running off at the mouth in hopes that if they say it enough, it will be real. But I guess they think the same propaganda nonsense that worked through COVID will work here. I suspect it won’t. It hasn’t dawned on them that there needs to be something in it for everybody, and as it is, there isn’t anything in it for most.
“The weak underbelly of America has been exposed.”
I was having a conversation the other day with someone where I was trying to explain to them the USA had never won a war. World War 1. We got their when everyone was exhausted, and a troop of Girl Scouts on the rag could have tipped the balance.
World War 2. Europe. We got there when Germany was exhausted and out of men and munitions from the Russian front. We lost a whopping 184,000 men. Which of course is a tragedy. But it reflects how truly little we did.
World War 2. Japan. We lost 108,000 men and defeated a nation roughly the size of California. With the aid of nuclear weapons. Call it a win if it makes your sac feel bigger.
Korea. China when they were barely out of the medieval ages fought us to a draw.
Vietnam. Loss to people wearing sandals made from truck tires.
Afghanistan. Ran away from the Taliban.
Iraq. Hiding behind high concrete walls.
The USA has won exactly one war. When Abraham Lincoln killed 1.5 million of us to guarantee the power of the Imperial Federal Government.
As I like to say, America late to a World War Twice.
Recently, I was talking to a European friend who works as an expert for the Petrochemical industry in one of the ME countries and he said that the Arabs don’t harbor the American people any ill will and they see the sorry state of affairs in the US. What they hope for is for the US Government to learn to be satisfied with one resource rich continent, develope it and just leave the rest of the world alone in peace.
I have the same opinion. The USA has what it takes to be a great country on an equal footing with others. It is the usurious locusts, entrenched in power, who push them to worldwide depredation and never for the benefit of the North American people.
Antisemite!
America could learn from Putin how to rebuild a Nation and become an Empire again.
America has plenty of resources on its territory to support its own population, without having to plunder smaller Nations around the globe.
The American population just has to:
Draw all US soldiers home from foreign Nations
Reduce the CIA, the FBI and Wall street Banks.
Drain the swamp in DC and the UN.
End the Federal Reserve.
Get back to work rebuilding America from within.
And stop medellin in other Nations internal affairs.
That is not in his nature. It doesn’t exist in your vocabulary. As containing them is the cure for cancer
regarding the last goal…ending the federal reserve.
The Federal Reserve is presently insolvent [well – except they can dilute currency]
John Hussman:
https://www.hussmanfunds.com/comment/mc230319/
If you think commercial banks are the only ones taking losses because of the Federal Reserve’s recklessness, think again. Given that the Federal Reserve now owns about $8 trillion in debt securities, which have declined sharply over the past year and a half, the Fed itself would be insolvent if it marked its assets to market.
The chart below is generous, because it includes interest payments since 2008 that have, in fact, already been remitted to the Treasury. I’ve included them to emphasize that these remittances have been wiped out by capital losses. When Jay Powell recently testified to Congress that “We always turn over all of our earnings in every year, and we’ve turned over something like $1.2 trillion dollars just in the last decade or so,” what he failed to say is that an amount far greater than those remittances has been wiped out by capital losses. Until the Fed fills the hole created by its own reckless policies, it will retain interest payments that would otherwise be paid over to the Treasury for public benefit.
Are you aware that there are two types of Dollars, on-shore Dollars and off-shore Dollars? If so ask yourself this question: we know the Fed issues on-shore Dolllars, so who issues the majority of off-shore Dollars?
The City of London or what is called Shadow Banking. So the next logical question would be: how do they issue off-shore Dollars? By lending and depositing, then lending the deposits and so on.
So how do they set the price of money so as to benefit from the Ponzi scheme? Up to last June 2021, the City of London established the interest rare on the Dollar under LIBOR.
The Fed has established its own new rate setting under SOFR. SOFR is a far superior system for attracting capital.
The big News is the US Commercial Banks have decoupled from the City of London, the Shadow Banking or the British Financial Empire.
By increasing the interest rate, the Fed is repatriating the off-shore Dollard and at the same time deflating the ability of the City of London to cause wars and economic mayham around the World to benefit its off-shore, tax havened companies.
I encourage you to research the Fed’s moves from a geopolitical perspective.
Like all the missinfo from the WEF about everything, consider they are doing the same thing to our Banking system. There is a war waged on our banking system and we at least should be well informed.
Now, do I think our banks are angels? What do you think? They are our greedy bums and we get to deal with them later.
I wonder why K. talat doesn’t have a reply button beneath his posts.
However here is my reply to his post below.
Both Wall Street and the City of London have benefited for decades from the low interest rates on the US Dollar, because the Dollar was used as a Global currency.
The US has printed obscene amounts of Dollars to supply a Global demand for dollars, now floating around the Globe in commerce and finance.
The US Government has actually been hiding the consequences of its ever grooving debt via Global money printing for more than 50 Years.
However, as a large part of the globe is dropping the Dollar for international trade, the demand for Dollar is ending simultaneously with the FED raising interest rates on the Dollar. This will ensure that all the dollars printed for the Globe will come home to America.
Now imagine as the amounts of dollars floating around in America are increased 10 fold over night, don’t you think that this would create hyperinflations in America?
At this point, whatever counter measures the Fed can take to bring down inflation in America will crash every trader on Wall Street, London, Brussel and Tokyo.
The fairy tale about the On Shore Dollars vs Off Shore Dollars is a lie launched to make Americans believe that there is a way out of the consequences of the Global de-Dollarization now underway.
There isn’t, because now these 50 years of bad USG habits are coming back to bite America.
@A. Dane & k. talaat
If the overseas dollars start flooding back to the US, I expect the US to enact currency controls and let them die off shore. A new dollar will be issued domestically, exchangeable exclusively for domestically held dollars.
I expect the new domestic dollar to be issued digitally today, but the two dollar system is not unprecedented. 150 years ago, there were two different dollars circulating. The Trade Dollar used in international trade with East Asia and the domestic dollar. The Trade Dollar became legal tender within the US due largely to lobbying by silver mining interests, but it was restricted to transactions below $5. Something similar may enacted with foreign held dollars.
It proved unsuccessful against other international coins, especially the Mexican peso which was widely and highly valued in China and elsewhere because of higher quality and weight. When they started coming home in quantity the Trade Dollar was demonetized in 1885.
The RESTRICT Act currently before Congress will give enormous and extraordinary powers to the Secretary of Commerce over any and all transactions under the rubric of “National Security”. It doubtless has more than a little to do with the where the USD is going.
@A. Dane
Yup, but there are no options at this point. A decade or two ago the nation could still be saved, but management opted to preserve the Empire from which they drew their wealth and power rather than the core nation.
Late stage Imperial elites tend to do that, and like countless others before them America’s political elites are on the path to losing both.
As you seem to suggest, a fracturing of America (back) into its constituent states and/or regional groupings of states is on the menu. If that is to come, however, the separation must be done quickly while the Imperial elites’ attention remains facing outward to face its external threats. When they eventually recognize those threats to be insurmountable, they will turn inwards to consolidate their hold on the core nation.
When they do, they will act swiftly using legal means that have already been put in place for just such an eventuality. The Patriot Act and its offspring, the nascent Restrict Act give them every legal power they need to turn the core nation into an arbitrary totalitarian state under their control. To the extent the American people can put up an organized resistance to that process is the extent to which it, or parts of of it, will be able to participate in the New Multi-polar World Order.
Isn’t plundering other, weaker nations pretty much the definition of empire?
HMS Terror says

My comment:
If the US launch currency control (Restrictions on Foreign held dollars) the US dollar will crash, and the US federal Government will be declared Bankrupt.
This means a collapse of the USA like during the Yeltsin era of the USSR.
No salary or pensions for the US military, CIA, FBI and Washington DC. Long ques outside Grocery stores.
It would be the end of the United States of America.
Long live the independent sovereign states in America.
When did Russia ever declare it wants to ‘become an empire again’?
Whereas, PNAC explicity states its desires to maintain one, doesn’t it?
Two wars; the mighty island nation of Grenada. And Panama, so make it three.
“…the USA had never one a war.”
Not quite. The US had a stunning victory in 1983 with the invasion of Granada in operation Urgent Fury. The wiki reminds me that President Ronald Reagan attempted to use the invasion to end Vietnam Syndrome by asserting that “our days of weakness are over”.
Gotta admit, it took some serious military muscle to subdue Granada…
You meant Grenada. The Catholic Kings took care of Granada long before the US was a notion among a few Englishmen.
Everybody keeps saying that Korea was draw – it was not real draw, they “forced” draw with nuclear threats (they brought nuclear bombs to Japan and planned targeting over 30 cities in CHN), otherwise all of them would be pound to dust as CHN massed over 2 million men army on Korea border and was preparing to make a final push to clear whole country, and other then nuclear threats, nothing else could stop it for real.
Well said Curt…
Hey Curt…don’t forget about Grenada ( Operation Urgent Fury)–when thousands of US military forces kicked the shit out of a few dozen Cuban local security forces…now there’s a true American military victory for you…btw the UN General Assembly voted that Urgent Fury was “a flagrant violation of international law” on 2 November 1983 by a vote of 108 to 9.
I’ve never been a Lincoln fan…his administration killed more Americans than all other conflicts combined…I guess that’s why he has his own memorial in DC. Sorry all of my ancestors fought for the South.
More importantly…name the last “Peace” the US has won.
My family was Choctaw. We fought for the South also. They already knew the hand of Washington DC. And don’t get me wrong. I’m an American. I was US Army. But people need to distinguish Hollywood and reality. Would the Russians beat us? Fuck I don’t know. But I do know one thing. We will see a lot of body bags. More than people can imagine. People need to get a clue and understand it will be their children dying. And I understand there is a time to die. Now? For this? For Ukraine?
And don’t forget the war on poverty – the result: more poverty. The war on drugs: more drugs. The war on crime: more crime. I will grant that they are extremely successful in the war against the middle class. They get to chalk up a win there.
Curt— I am not sure I understand your reference to Lincoln. I assume you are talking about the American Civil War? Who were the 1.5 million American citizens killed that you refer to?
Yes. 1.5 million Americans died in the Civil War. There is considerable argument about the exact number. The low side is 600,000 military casualties alone. I tend to believe the 1.5 million is low when you look at civilian and military casualties.
https://heritagepost.org/american-civil-war/civil-war-casualties/
Well, after defeat in Crimea the Tsar was anxious to find a way to check Britain, and did so by offering the Russian Navy as support for Lincoln to keep Britian and France from overtly intervening on the side of the South. Thus helping the North to enforce the blockade of the South until the greater industrial and manpower resources of the North could take effect. So, even the North’s victory in the War Between the States was materially aided by a foreign power, Russia.
I don’t think America will ever be ready for war the way the Russians conduct war, thousands of body bags coming home may awaken the population to the fact that 85% of the world has had enough of American Bullying, murder and mayhem created to destroy countries they don’t like and drive their own population into poverty for the 1%ers. The free world not the fake western free world has had enough and hopefully will unite with Russian and China to stop the US of A getting out of this one without consequences for their actions. Warmongers like lady Graham need putting out to pasture they have outlived their use by date.
Meanwhile the rest of the world is moving on while the crazies sit babbling in the corner. Your media are “enablers”. You can’t change anything without removing the household names that lie, make up ridiculous stories or refuse to speak about real issues that allow western ruling class to continue their lunacy.
“Lady Graham.” Enhorabuena. Very nicely put.
Body bags ??????? You are so yesterday.
How will US metropolitan districts deal with mass casualties ?
How many bulldozers will be needed to shift piles of irradiated corpses into mass graves ?
What about dealing with destruction of electricity grid, Internet, mobile phone systems and body count INSIDE the United States ?
You won’t be bringing bodies back from overseas……..you won’t have time, money, or space
“The ideals of a free and democratic society — like that of the United States — can flourish. ”
Laughing so hard my sleep is disrupted.
LOL! Excellent!
Let us also remember the eulogy of Robert Byrd given by Mr Inclusivity ( The Leader of the Free World !!!)… They provide us with thousands of sleep disruption opportunities!!
The US International Rules Based Disorder is, where the US is the legislator, the judge, the police and the real offender all at the same time and no one else can be anything except an offender.
Russia is violating Ukraine. The US is helping Syria out of her oil, and on and on.
Speaking of Syria’s oil, did you know that Genie Energy Limited, is pilfering East Syria and Golan Heights oil.
Who’s on the Board of Genie Energy: Dick Cheney since 2009, Rupert Murdoch, James Woolsey, Jacob Rothschild.
You can’t make this up when you have a International Rules Based Disorder.
The International Rules Based Disorder sounds like it belongs in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
I think there’s an epidemic in Washington, and its also spread to London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels – and a lot of other places. Probably a pandemic, so maybe we should impose a lockdown on all elected politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats, military brass and NGOs until they can be tested as cured from this awful mind-altering malady.
You’ll find it listed under Violent Pathological Narcissism
“The US International Rules Based Disorder is, where the US is the legislator, the judge, the police and the real offender all at the same time and no one else can be anything except an offender.”
Or an abused whore.
A rapist who abused a whore.
This is a complete picture!
I wonder why they forgot to include some renowned top level advisor… Someone like the guy with the non-existing laptop????
It depends on the availability of the candidate, I guess….
“deflating the ability of the City of London to cause wars and economic mayham around the World to benefit its off-shore, tax havened companies.”
How was the City of London able to cause wars and economic mayhem to benefit itself? Isn’t the US banking system, in cahoots with the military industrial complex, also guilty of doing the same thing?
‘Judge, jury and executioner’ is the proper phrase.
Forbidden by the Constitution but hunky dory for foreign policy.
Do as I say not as I do. Don’t say ain’t it ain’t right. They just fired a principal of a school for showing the statue of David. Again. They call it pornography now. Doesn’t even have an anus.
Straight talk is unpopular because it is so easy to spot BS when it smells in the sun. A popular figure recently got in on a lie. Was very disappointing to hear it from someone you think has been straight.
Can we afford any more nonsense from our governments?
You see, Brian, the real problem for that statue is that it DOESN’T have an anus. For many of the boys who now rule Washington, that is an unforgivable omission.
Credit, this is a witty hint
damn perfectionists
Las Vegas has a replica statue of David in Caesar’s Palace.
The principal’s mistake was not photoshopping a dress on him.
Meanwhile, the Germans said it was OK for women to go topless at the public pools. It’s a country of eunuchs, so they figured who would it bother?
Specifically with regard to the Iran protests, almost nobody in the West is even aware that 350 policeman and members of security forces were killed (‘peaceful demonstrations’) and that so-called protesters engaged in actions such as setting alight the family home (with children) of clerics have been prosecuted for crimes other than peaceful assembly. But it was in fact covered in all Western new outlets.
The disparity was re-imported into the US domestically with the advent of peaceful BLM protests with prepositioned piles of bricks, arson, and murders as opposed to insurrection (what an old-fashioned aristocratic word) committed by people walking unarmed between the rope guides.
US interfered in the slave revolt in Haïti, the first ever that resulted in constituting a nation, under its first president, George Washington … afraid that it would set a bad example for the slaves with its own republic. Foreign policy conducted on the basis of whims and chimeras intended for purely private & partisan domestic interests.
Back on Iran. Soon after “ the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini,” and the first protests, (if it’s the same person) I remember the Iranian police releasing CCTV film of her death. She was bottom left of the camera. There were police officers in the room, but none near her. She seemed to collapse. Almost like the mRNA injection death shots shown on social sites…….
Officers quickly rushed over to her, to her aid…… Sure, she died in police custody but, according to the CCTV, they had nothing to do with it.
It was after World War II, according to Thomas Piketty, that Haiti stopped paying reparations to France for winning its freedom and thus depriving France of its property rights.
Everyone should support both sides in the “protests” in the zionist entity and wish both gangs of zios full success!
You left out the part about the rules being subject to change without notice. Or made up on the fly out of whole cloth. Also about whom they apply to.
Or, like Rome, rules that change with each new, erratic Emperor.
On the situation in France, this is an excellent article:
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219074.html
“The crisis that France is going through today is not just another episode in an eternally agitated country. It is about a deep crisis of mode which will be solved only with the beginning of a new society. The country will go through several years of blockage, before embarking on a complete transformation, a revolution that will last at least a generation.”
I don’t think so. Macron is a coward, of course, but he is not a fool. If the situation becomes difficult for him, he will give up on pension reform for a while. People will go home. Then he will purge and try to decapitate the revolution. And then he will go back to pension reform.
Or another option, quite traditional. He will send a couple of Rafale troops close to the Russian border, hoping that the Russians will destroy them. And then he will start shouting at the top of his lungs that this is a WAR and one must be a patriot of France, one must unite, and so on.
Was it noteworthy that Demonstrators warned Micron, the guillotines were on order?
French state with 62% of GDP is the biggest in the world. It’s a bankrupt socialist state, something like USSR in 1990, but softer and with a very tiny paint of democracy, liberty and free market.
The state now loan 25% of it’s spending every year just to survive and continue to fund millions of useless state worker, migrants and victims of socialism. The economy ravaged by taxes, bureaucracy and regulation does not produce many things anymore. Its trade balance is more red than the communist flag.
After 50 years of state “education” and propaganda by govt funded media, most french are convinced that they live in an “ultra-capitalist” state. The peoples are not fighting for liberty and less state but for MORE socialism MORE state and more “free” stuff.
This to said that the “revolution” would only bring more totalitarian socialism. They didn’t dig enough yet.
On the subject of Macron. Here he is doing his best Tommy Cooper impression:

‘Just like that!’
Here is a zinger: Some time ago, Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin brought forth to the world a new project, conceived in equality and dedicated to the proposition that countries can act on behalf of their mutual security and mutual wellbeing. Now they are engaged in a great war, testing whether that project, or any project so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.
We can summarize in blunt realistic terms. The Russians and Chinese have set up their project and announced it in Beijing a few months ago. They have included an offer to welcome other countries into the project. It remains to be seen how well the Russians and Chinese can follow through on their part. And of course, other countries must set aside longstanding suspicion and tribal priorities before they can enter into the project.
I suspect the rest of the world is at the point where they may as well give it a try as the US “rules based order” isn’t working for them, and ironically, isn’t even working for the US any more. The trouble with empires is costs go up exponentially and taxes somewhat linearly. Doomed from the outset. Loose knit and decentralized has a chance of working as problems become localized rather than global.
Being left alone has appeal as being bullied hasn’t been much fun for anyone.
True. But Russia and China will at some point discover their own fundamental differences. And whatever “rules” they create will be at odds too down the line. One only needs to look at the fact that China literally welded its citizens into their apartments during Covid. While Russians for the most part can live their lives in some mode of liberty for religion, and redress that will be heard by the Kremlin. China can learn a lot from Russia in tolerance, let’s hope it does. Marxism is absolute in China, not so in Russia. But the age of endless proxy wars, govt. overthrows in the name of the “rules”, sending other countries armies into meat grinders not ours, monetary threats and seizures, debt, etc. needs to stop. America has become the world’s “loose cannon”. That’s becoming clear to many when they see America having trouble defining what “woman” means.
The Chinese locked up their citizens when Covid struck because they knew and a lot of other countries knew that America had released a biological weapon against them from Fort Detrick (remember the vaping deaths which disappeared after covid was found in Wuhan, that was the release of it or the escape of it) and they had no defence, they would not let millions of their die as the US had done.
It will take a while (if ever) for the ‘body politic’ of the US to accept sitting at a table where it doesn’t have veto power and where playing outside the mutually agreed upon rules might have a penalty. Also….nationwide strikes in the US (France & Germany) – the unions here have been neutered. Protests against government – not against the favorite strongman – Netanyahu. Things get interesting when the military isn’t completely on the leader’s side.
The US is now a corpse, the undertakers are waiting for the body to stiffen, it will have an unceremoniousand indifferent funeral and the eulogy has already been written,” We lied, We cheated, We stole….. We lost”
i would like to see a concrete reference to one of these “rules” and see a authoritative source which identfies how it came into being. Or perhaps these rules exist eentirely in the imagination.
Or perhaps these rules exist entirely in the imagination.
Exist in the fertile imaginations of Karl Rove and his ilk.
mijj – Look up “Noahide Laws”. These are what the (((parasites))) declare that the goyim (the not- ((( ))) )
Must Obey, upon pain of Death. Interestingly, these “laws” have been Endorsed/Enacted by the FUSSA Con-gress quite some Time ago. Also do some Research into (((their))) ‘babylonian talmud’, about how it says that …”the goyim are Beasts in Human form, created by yahweh to Serve the jew”. Then you will understand How and Why the (((parasites))) act towards White Men (in particular) and all not of their ‘Tribe’.
p.s. this is the same ‘babylonian talmud’ that Endorses every form of Perversion- faggotry, bestiality, rape of children over three Years old, etc. Look Into just (((who))) is promoting these Perversions today. The organizations that are pushing every form of talmudic perversion, destruction of Families, anti-White, anti-Christian, anti-Gun and so forth are funded and run by (((communists))). Every. Single Time.
My understanding is that the Government of Georgia borrowed the “foreign agent law” from the USA, just as Russia did, so why is the commotion?
Looks like Wes Clark was right on the money 15 years ago about how we got where we are…

He should know. He was one of the insiders implementing the policy.
The US isn’t the first to try this gimmick. Remember Pax Romana? No? Well it was over and dead long before we were born, but the Romans used it to impose their view of how the world should work to their benefit: create a desert and call it victory.
We make the rules and you take the orders; it’s the perspective of every bully large and small throughout history. The US has been the World Bully for years, telling itself it’s really only destroying these countries out of the goodness of its heart and the need for them to adopt a free and democratic way of life so that they can be economically and financially raped by the US-appointed hitmen assigned to care for them.
You might have read these quotes from Major-General Smedley Butler:
“I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914.
“I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912.
“I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”
Says it all.
“The tribes way or the highway”
Exactamondo!
“…are busy creating an alternative international order that will put the United States on the sidelines. ”
Actually I suspect it will be to the disadvantage of the US to ensure no possibility of a return of the bully. And I fully expect international support for both sides of any internal strife in the US. Karma and all that. Meanwhile, the exceptional-erati will have retired to New Zealand.
The Ordering of Base Rules
(a rather basic sonnet format: ababababcdcdcd)
Projecting rules upon the world, who knew
the “burden” such an awesome task would bring
to bear upon the ones who turn the screw
and pound the peasants, winter, fall, and spring
while they enjoy year-round the summer hue
of golden days. So let the music ring!
Let all who’ve known “success” receive their due
and those who’ve failed let them endure the sting
of poverty and labor hard and long
while profits up the pyramid advance
to further gild the ones already strong
who seldom for a moment look askance
at those below who only know the wrong
reserved for those with but a chicken’s chance.
The “Rules Based Order,” so we’ve heard it said
means what we say it does, no more no less,
whenever and wherever we have led
our vassals with us to create a mess
of limbs blown off and heaps of newly dead.
Nor any of our crimes will we confess,
us dogs of war by our own barking bred;
the “body count” our measure of success;
the free-fire zone – kill anything that moves –
retrieved from Vietnam, another place
where what we did the things we said disproves.
Mere novelty adds not but must deface,
as Bacon said. Thus our bad breath removes
the verbal mask meant to disguise disgrace.

The problem with the “Rules-Based International Order” is that as often as not it stands in opposition to “International Law”
The trend for “International Law” is to codify the long-standing customs by way of treaties/conventions/etc so that the laws are actually written down and the commentaries that accompany those laws are agreed upon by one and all.
By comparison the Americans insist upon a system of “Rules” that are never actually written down. They exist only in the minds of those in Washington, and so they can be changed on a whim or applied illogically and inconsistently.
In effect, the Americans want to play a game where they alone claim to understand the rules and therefore they alone can decide to alter those rules as and when it pleases them.
Russia and China want the game to be played according to a rule-book that is written down and understood by everyone, and where the Umpire isn’t also the Captain of one of the competing teams.
similar to a presidential finding that the administration chooses to NOT follow congress passed laws?
At least there is consistency.
(In effect, the Americans want to play a game where they alone claim to understand the rules, and therefore they alone can decide to alter those rules as and when it pleases them) can be answered even shorter and more concisely. The American rules-based international order is a game of football with one gate. Ha ha ha.
Talking about Israel. In my view Israel has much to gain in the long term from a multipolar world. Unbridled US support has empowered the headbangers and prevented the country making long term peace with its neighbours.
Israel has good relations with India, Russia and China. 20% of Israelis are Russian. Iran has the largest Jewish community in the ME outside Israel, with functioning synagogues and representation in the Majlis. I see a rapprochement with Iran at some point.
Israelis will need to make some tough compromises over the Golan, and with the Palestinians, but will benefit later.
The best hope for the long term security of the Jewish State remains accepting UNR 181.
“International Rules Based Order” only became a talking point around the time of Syria, when it became a phrase to beat Russia over the head with. The concept has been around, but not as a main talking point.
Post-WW2 the international order sought and worked toward by many nations, including the USSR and USA, was embodied in the United Nations. No comment on how that has worked out. Bretton Woods had come into force in ’44.
When the Cold War kicked off in ’49 the US wasn’t in a position to impose rules or otherwise dominate the Soviet Union. The UN wasn’t superceded, but proxy conflicts and direct diplomacy (as per yesterday’s piece) distorted that order. The petrodollar was implemented in ’73 with the US-Saudi alliance.
After the USSR dissolved the US and Anglo establishments made a concerted attempt to vassalize Russia and the former Soviet republics, failing in Russia and succeeding in Ukraine, leaving us with the situation we face now. The Western financial system appears to be at the brink of collapse and threatens to take everything else down with it.
If the US has had a unipolar moment, it was the period 1993-2008. Even during this period USA cannot be said to have had global dominance (although it was certainly sought after) as it could never impose rules upon the PRC (this was mitigated by the fact PRC and USA were allied during this period). Rather than using this moment to build a productive international order, the globalist (née Anglo-American) establishment used it to expand its power and fuel its avarice and gluttony, and it was its own avarice that sabotaged its ambitions, culminating in the financial crisis of 2008/2009; nevertheless it continues to pursue dominance. The peoples of the West have followed them, knowingly or unknowingly, perhaps to our doom. Ironically, some of the forces contributing to our collapse were set in motion by the Soviet Union–and the establishment encourages and amplifies those forces even now.
“After the USSR dissolved the US and Anglo establishments made a concerted attempt to vassalize Russia and the former Soviet republics, failing in Russia and succeeding in Ukraine”.
Seeing is often a function of believing, whilst believing is often not seeing.
In what way did “The United States of America” succeed in Ukraine ?
Some in “The United States of America” believe that all of “The Ukrainians” blame the “Russians” which was part of their hopes which they misguidedly believe are “strategies”, and that The Russian Federation could never rectify that.
“some of the forces contributing to our collapse were set in motion by the Soviet Union–and the establishment encourages and amplifies those forces even now.”
In a limited sense by, in a greater sense during.
A good article dwelling on the phenomenon:
https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/leiden-journal-of-international-law/article/choice-before-us-international-law-or-a-rulesbased-international-order/7BEDE2312FDF9D6225E16988FD18BAF0
“The weak underbelly of America has been exposed and no amount of threats or sanctions from Washington will change that reality.”
I’m no expert, but the destructive capabilities we possess are nothing to scoff at. If our position as King of the Hill is in jeopardy, we will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to maintain it. That is our stated position – “Full Spectrum Dominance”. That means we’re not going to share the pie with anyone. We have declared that we alone shall control land, air, sea and space and all attendant resources.
There is no Plan B. Both political parties are in lockstep on this.
We haven’t renounced the first strike use of nuclear weapons. In fact, I’m sure we’ve planned for it. We’re the world’s unpredictable madman. And, clearly, we have no problem fomenting civil unrest, toppling governments, starting conventional wars that have killed millions, or blowing up the critical infrastructure of even our “friends”.
I can think of a dozen ways we can prevent any sort of successful alternative to “the order” that Russia/China can’t do a damn thing about. I’m sure the Pentagon, CIA, NSA and whatever other secret three letter agencies there are have gamed out every possible scenario. What we know about any of this as civilians is exactly zero.
“Continuity of Government” protocols were put into place after 9/11 and a state of emergency was declared that has never been rescinded. As long as “the right people” are taken care of, the rest of us are expendable. Indeed, thinning the herd may be seen as a desirable goal.
We have spent trillions and trillions of $ for many decades building up the biggest military machine the world has ever known. We have 800+/- military bases around the globe. We have nuclear submarines, any ONE of which can end it all for everyone. I’m quite certain we have space based weapons, biological weapons and God-like technical capabilities that none of us know anything about.
To think that our rulers are just going to give it up and let it slip away is naive nonsense. The world is about to get even more dangerous because the people who rule us are indeed prepared to kill millions or even billions or fry the whole damn planet.
That’s what anyone who opposes us will soon find out.
The question they will be forced to answer is simple: Do we want to die? The only alternative they’ll have is to bend the knee.
“They” have even more nukes than “we” do.
No knee bending required.
The solution is to defeat the British Financial Empire. After 1948, the sun set on the British Empires military arm. However, the British Empire moved it’s asset to all its satellite territories (Bermuda, Caiman Islands, etc.) and created the Empire of Shadow Banking. Through double entry accounting they have created USDs out of thin air. What was the Fed back then in 1948, except a branch of the the Financial Empire.
The old owners of the BE want their colonies back, hence one Digital Currency Central Bank and he Global South ain’t having it.
Those factions in the US government that do things that seem to be nonsensical are its servants not the servants of the American People.
This is were the rubber meets the road, follow the money, this is were the rubber meets the road.
Forget the Brits, the last hurrah of the amazing shrinking man. Soon, they’ll be the final national manifestation of those ubiquitous octogenarian lords who rent their aging castles out for weddings and clown shows in hopes of keeping the electricity on.
“The question they will be forced to answer is simple: Do we want to die? The only alternative they’ll have is to bend the knee.”
How refreshing to have a further contribution from an alumni of the rubbing sticks school of thermo-dynamics, which are not dynamic since the hope/purpose is stasis within acceptable paradigms/tolerances.
As was relayed to an Israeli guest in Obnynsk in 1991 in respect of the “Samson” option.
Are you sure you want to do that ?
It will likely make many people very happy.
“Do we want to die?”
You pose the wrong question as a function of framing and/or some additional nonsense.
The salient question is this:
“Are you willing to die ?”
The answer by a significant number of members of the Russian Federation was approximately :
Yes if necessary for certain reasons, but if the opponents wish to commit suicide we would prefer they would achieve that alone.
That was also the answer given by many Russians in history, including Mr. Alexander Pechersky of Rostov on Don and his associates when they planned and implemented the partly succesful, – (complete avoidance of blowback never being a valid option) – Sobibor Uprising in 1943, despite one of their number putting his axe in the SS officer’s head sharp end first, and causing delay by having to retreive it, clean it, and have it in reasonable condition to service the next client, and laughed about it in the 1980’s.
DO NOT hysteria no one wants to die, and even more so, your political backstage does not have this desire, living, unlike you, in paradise.
“UNDERSTANDING THE INTERNATIONAL RULES BASED DISORDER
“Yes, it would had been better to talk to the Russians sooner, but I fear it is way too late….”
At no point since 1991 has that ever been an option as the “Russians” always understood.
De facto it has never been a sustainable valid practice since March 1917 and de jure since 1922.
The documents presented by The People’s Republic of China and The Russian Federation in December 2021 were notices of intent disclosed beforehand, not ultimata where “The United States of America” had a say in the matter.
Not everyone assigns the significance to “The United States of America” that “The United States of America” seeks to assign to itself.
Some assign different significances to “The United States of America” including but not limited to, partnership through complicity of “The United States of America” facilitating their own transcendence, with contingency plans if “The United States of America” are tempted to use various types of weapons – Presidential Decree of The Russian Federation number 355 of 2nd June 2020 with updates refers in part.
So “The United States of America” should be thanked for their continuing services facilitating their own transcendence, including by emulating of Mr. Goebells speech in 1943 after the Battle of Stalingrad to the “Volksgemeinschaft” in hope of facilitating “Total Kreig” against the Untermensch.
Some look forward to the usage of the previous complicities of the Volksgemeinschaft to encourge them to rally towards Gotterdammerung, and related “media” explaining why – “There is no alternative” and why Masada is relocating to Brooklyn.
Have seen the Australian government and media also blathering on about the rules based order, seems though it occurs to few to actually ask what it is and what are the rules. Too late probably anyway, they have signed onto permanent vassalhood spending billions and billions on US arms while thinking cutting off China, our largest and a surplus trade partner is a brilliant idea. Ignorance is curable however idiocy isn’t, hasn’t occurred to any there that this won’t end well, it certainly isn’t for Ukraine.
And the real US president, the actual one with the levers of power in his control, Obummer, is in Australia with AlbaNAZI to ensure the Australian lickspittles stay on song with the plan.
Rafferty’s Rules and everyone else must Obey! The US employs Dalek diplomacy.
If you don’t obey our rules to our satisfaction then your country could be the lucky winner of:
– a sanctions package or three
– a colour revolution
– you and your family being taken out by a drone
– a flyover and bomb run from a passing carrier group
– a full-on invasion by a coalition of the willing
The last prize is only available to small-medium size countries with 3rd rate or worse military capabilities.
The US relies on the term “rules based order” to excuse its serial violations of International laws such as those set forth in the UN Charter and in a myriad of other written agreements among and subscribed to by nations. Although commentators offer descriptions of this opaque term, they do not specify a source for these rules. Motivated by the question whether the US would lift sanctions to allow humanitarian aid to Syria after the recent earthquakes, I researched US Sanctions.
I found at least a partial horrifying answer to the question of source in US Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] “Title 31 Money and Finance: Treasury, Subtitle B Regulations Relating to Money and Finance, Chapter V Office of Foreign Assets Control, Department of the Treasury.” Part 501 sets forth “Reporting, Procedures and Penalties Regulations.” Commencing with Part 510 through Part 599, nations are identified separately as subject to US sanctions. (Note, Parts are not numbered in sequence.) Nations identified include: North Korea, Cuba, Burma. Iran (4x), Zimbabwe, Syria (2x), Darfur, Dem Rep of Congo, Belarus, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen, Central African Republic, Mali, South Sudan, Hizballah, Libya, Iraq, Nicaragua, Hong Kong, China, Russia, Venezuela.
Part 542, Syrian Sanctions Regulations contains Subparts A through H. Subpart B Prohibitions contains eleven subsections (542.201-542.11) that prohibit, inter alia, certain blocked property; holding funds, etc.; new investment; exportation, sale or supply of services; importation of petroleum products of Syrian origin.
I urge all readers to visit the CFR web site and educate yourselves as to the US State Department approved genocidal nature of these sanctions. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-31/subtitle-B/chapter-V
The sanctions promulgated by the US against specified nations unequivocally are intended to decimate their respective civilian populations thereby rendering unnecessary US engagement in protracted military engagement (lawfare) unless conducted by proxy nations and US funded entities willing to sacrifice their blood and treasure (warfare) to further US reprehensible lust for international dominance.
Let’s not dance around the issue, the rule is Israel first. The Israeli lobby is the biggest in DC and US foriegn policy is oriented towards carrying water for Israel. One only need look at how politicians from both parties bend over backwards to kiss Israel’s buttocks. Most countries conduct their foriegn policy a way that benefits their citizens. Not the US.
I always understood the TPTB who run the rules based order we’re mostly Jewish

Minsk 2 and GW Bush´s invasion of Iraq are 2 most blatant examples of breaking real International laws by those nations claiming to be part of the ´´International Rules Based Order´´ . As Russia and China have asserted, it is time to restore the supremacy of real International Law and this is made easier by US / NATO / EU sanctions against Russia and China that effectively cut the US $ and € out of so many international transactions involving sanctioned nations especially Russia and Iran. The way things are going if US $ and € survive 2023 they can become merely hyper inflated regional currencies for internal trade within US, NATO and EU although the World Economic Forum Reset requires the collapse of the existing Western Finance & Governance system before the WEF can launch its own single currency and single Government for all planned-to-be-demolished WEF member nations.
Signing a UNSCR (2202) incorporating Minsk II and then chucking it in the trash after exploiting it is far worse than voting nay to begin with.
Rules-based order, Ha. Don’t make me laugh. More like a fools-based order for not understanding there are consequences to such behavior.
It requires a certain state of mind that you cannot pronounce the name of a regional/national state bordering on your own regional/national state. Instead your enlightened state of mind is constantly buzzing with something that is thought to be NOT regional/ national but: ‘International’. Something that at least is NOT so boring & uninteresting as what is engulfing one when saying: “Canada”. When you want to understand the reason why certain states of mind are fixated on ‘The International Rules Based Order’, just have a look at the flip-over side: How to escape from being drowned and bored to death with merely regional/national matters, such as trains getting of the track or regional banks that all of a sudden happen to fail? As soon as the word ‘regional’ (national) is mentioned in the media, one ought to react proactively on the spot with on overbearing air of NOT being interested. ‘Regional’ (national) affairs imply apathy & malaise. The ‘International Rules Based Order’ mantra functions for certain states of mind as a kind of automatic intelligence. This AI instantly gets you out of the suffocation that is unpacking itself when you are being forced to ponder for a moment in order to say: “Canada”.
I did not know that there were Azov operatives inmmersed in the 6th JUne events in The Capitol, but that information comes to confirm my suspicions that the so called “Ukrainian Refugees”, some of which even settled into our European countries before the Russian SMO started, are here as “Stay Behind” networks to stir up turmoil whenever the elites need to discredit the secured coming protests related to galloping inflation, requistion of deposits, financial control, sinking of living standards, and so on….
It is the same tactic used by corporate fascism of always….
Btw, that they should be more discret, since settling in a workers neighborhood with a new Audi, licensed in Ukraine, which you move sometimes, but not precisely to go to work, when you are in your thirties or early fourties speaks volumes on that you do not precisely lack of anything….
How anyone in Ukraine, considering the wages and living standards there, can afford himself a last model Audi in his thirties?
Is that the way they have whitewashed the dark money they have received for “their services” to enter our countries?
Is the national Treasury, taking into account whether these people are receiving state subventions or free accomodation when they drive a luxury brand new car?
The feckless US policy in the Middle East can only be understood through the lenses of the “Clean Break Plan,” where the vile neocon use US blood and treasure to implement Richard Perle’s plan to sow death and destruction in nation not friendly to Israel. Who cares the human toll, after all it’s only the “Chosens” that matter.
Larry, it gets better,
Friday the defense counsel for some of the “Proud Boys” defendants discovered that a “witness” for the defense, who had come forward After the indictment, was a “confidential human source” (i.e. paid) for the FBI. We should thank all the FBI leadership for this level of integrity and dedication to duty, as well as Obama for “fundamentally transforming” America.
To be honest, it is about #@*^# time. We were never meant to be some international police enforcing those rules. We were meant to be a constitutional republic protecting liberty here at home. I hope Israel crashes and burns as they have been the author of all that is wrong in the Middle East and much of what is wrong here at home with their covert interventions into our government and social institutions
And now these rules include that Anthony Blinken could show up wearing a dress saying he is now Sally
I just snorted coffee all over my shirt.
Thanks for the hilarious imagery
Yes, it was truly cinemascopic.
“Rules based international order” is one of the thousand cuts the US power is dying from.
“It’s self inflicted wound” to paraphrase an illustrious black knight.
Don’t worry, it makes little to no differences to live in a “great power” or not. You just fears much less about a nuclear counter-strike at home in Yaounde or Luxembourg …
The first thing that came to my mind reading this article is wonderful Maria Zahkarova: “ Zakharova posted a video of the aftermath of protests in Paris and burning cars on her Telegram channel. She wondered when Macron would supply weapons to the French to maintain democracy.”
https://www.easternherald.com/2023/03/24/zakharova-after-the-riots-joked-about-macron-supplying-weapons-to-the-french/
Harold Pinter was a British writer who won the 2005 Nobel Prize for Literature. He used his acceptance speech to starkly characterize US behavior in the world. I believe he was dying of cancer at the time, he delivered his speech from a wheelchair. The speech is riviting and he states some awful truths about US foreign policy. It shook me when I first saw it some years back. He drills into the Contra / Sandinista era as a particular example. Worth a watch, start at 13:00 for a shorter version.

I wonder what steps the “Rules Base Order” will take to try to upset the peace agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran that China helped put together.
Possibly a few targeted “terrorist” attacks pulled off by CIA or Pentagon stooges?
I see that the US is planning to put 4 bases in The Philippines. I imagine that took some arm twisting and a lot of palm greasing.
China is no doubt watching.
It looks almost like the crazies want China to step into Taiwan and doing everything they can to trigger an invasion. They couldn’t leave well enough alone and I guess they certainly can’t Taiwan handle it on their own. Big Daddy news to stick his nose into it.
“…the US is planning to put 4 bases in The Philippines. I imagine that took some arm twisting and a lot of palm greasing…”
The son of Marcos is prez there now so I reckon copious amounts of palm greasing, no arm twisting.
The apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
Eh, they’ll probably start arming the Houthis.
America, I know you well.
“I believe this is the most important consequence of the proxy war between NATO and Russia in Ukraine. The weak underbelly of America has been exposed and no amount of threats or sanctions from Washington will change that reality.”
Precisely! This SMO have brought out all the “stupid” of Western leaders, their actions and their words have sunk the West and its rules based order. Along with the U.N. and NATO. The West speaks words so harsh and nonsensical, words that betray their weakness and inability to see themselves in the mirror. They speak like spoiled brats or the bully that got punched in the nose and is now bleeding profusely and threatening his opponent…all the while backing away to the shelter of his buddies. Their past actions of deceit, corruptness, war, and indiscriminate killing of citizens have caught up with them and the world citizens have had enough.
Thank God for Russia and her brave soldiers.
Thank God for Putin and the Russian political assembly and their patience and ability to end this unipolar and globalist agenda.
Thank God for China, that despite some of their internal problems, they as a nation are growing and moving in a cooperative direction with Russia.
“These “rules” are designed to promote U.S. interests at the expense of others.”
when I was a pre-teen back in the mid to late 1970’s, a boy I played with, made up special rules for our games, designed to prevent him from losing, ever, thus protecting his ego and overblown sense of self worth. His dad, BTW, was a lawyer, then a judge. He became a lawyer, too.
“Here is the harsh truth about the Rules Based International Order. It is an anachronism created in the wake of World War II by the United States, it is unraveling and the Biden Administration continues to enact policies that will hasten its demise”
The “United States®” is still living in the 20th Century. In the 1980’s. We’re governed by Cold War relics who belong in an old folks home, or in a museum. The rest of the world has moved on, into the 21st Century. The Anglosphere’s wars against Germany, Russia, Japan and China, have about as much contemporary relevance today, as do the Thirty Years War, or the War of the Spanish Succession.
As an aside, our “leaders”, over the decades, have kept us deliberately thirty to forty years behind Europe and Japan, when it comes to technology, science and advances in medicine. They have destroyed our already hopelessly obsolete industrial base. Very few factories are new, and still fewer yet, have machinery that isn’t left over from the 1940’s, or 1970’s, if they managed an upgrade, fifty years ago, that is.
Some months ago I wanted to read the details about the Montreux convention, i.e. the agreement on when and who can enter the Black Sea through the Turkish straits. Out of laziness I clicked on the top entry: Wikipedia. At the bottom of the summary some three letter agency shill had recently added that the convention is a “solid example of a rules-based international order”.
Right now the US is doing everything it can to pressure Turkey to give up the Montreux convention and let their warships enter the Black Sea.
My rules, your law.
The US government also announcing that it was withdrawing from the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. One of the Vienna Convention’s other key elements is the 1961 Optional Protocol, which codifies the basic rules of international Law enabling diplomatic missions to operate without fear of coercion by the host State. Two recent pieces of legislation passed by the US represent further examples of of where “rules” and “order” are interpreted solely in terms of the US national interest and show a cavalier disregard for the sovereign rights of other nations. The first of these was the Countering America’s Adversaries through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) under which the US allocates itself the power to impose sanctions on individuals, companies and countries that have the temerity to conduct business relationships with countries of whom the US disapproves.
That treaty replaced earlier agreements.
Treaty of Montreux is YET ANOTHER international agreement where USA is NOT A PARTY
US should not have ANY ships in Black Sea nor should it fly B-52 bombers there claiming it is in accordance with CIVIL Air Treaties………last time I looked B-52s were not CIVIL aircraft
It’s all coming about. Just as it was written.
It’s going to be glorious for some.
Worse than any known nightmare or horror/gore movie for others.
Everyone can clearly see the foretold of beast from the sea, with it’s 7 heads and 10 horns.
Everyone can clearly see the foretold of whore, who rides (and controls the reigns of) the beast from the sea.
And now everyone can faintly see the beast with two horns fortold of coming from the land.
You all know what happens to the whore – the beast she is riding turns and destroys her.
It will be glorious for some, and hell for others.
In the end –
The mountains and hills will be brought low, and the valleys will be raised up.
So take heart you poor and downtrodden, for your savior does come swiftly.
And all the fat cows who trampled you down and trod you under foot and forced you to eat their dung will be slaughtered. Just as Ezekiel (and others) foretold.
It will be glorious.
The first time I ever heard the phrase “International Rules Based Order” it pontificated from the lips of one of history’s biggest war criminals ever–Barrack Hussein Obama…ever since then I have despised the phrase.
For my part, the International Rules Based Order is just a cover or instrument for all things Davos or One World Order…right…how can the world be ruled by one all knowing all seeing government if the we live in a multi-polar world order?
The US has become the “Empire of Lies” and plethora hypocrisies…its credibility is faltering at an increased level and we are seeing an historic bifurcation e.g. the “West and the Rest”. The “West” is of course governed by the unwritten and “arbitrary” Rules Based International Order” ideology and the “Rest” is gravitating toward a multi-polar world order ideology. Reminds me of the Communism vs. Democracy ideological Cold War era.
However, this time the US is not on the right side of history.
Communism also partly resembles a neo-globalist political agenda based on a slogan. “Proletarians of all countries unite!”
True…but today’s Russia is not a communist (Soviet Union) state…like China it is a hybrid of socialism and communism. “Multipolar” is the antithesis of “globalist” whereas “Hegemon” is synonymous with globalist ideology–at least that is my argument.
“Proletarians of all countries unite!”
Of course. That was the precursor to neoconservatism. One of its founders (if not all), Irving Kristol was a trotskyiist and member of the 4th Internationale in his formative years. They just replaced ‘proletarians’ with (your choice of words).
It’s always been a world without borders and we rule the roost game with that crew, no matter what they decide to call themselves to camouflage their ideological underpinnings.
How do you run the “rules based order” when you can’t even manufacture enough ammo to keep Ukraine supplied?
Even more odd is that the US relies on it’s enemies/competitors for raw materials and manufactured goods. What empire does that?
Zelenskyy admitted to Japanese reporters that they’re our of ammo. $100 billion in aid, and they can’t keep up with Russia’s “puny” economy at supplying munitions?
Empires end by getting overextended, usually with military requirements outstripping taxation ability as the underlying economy can’t support it. In the current scenario, add on that the bang for the buck in US military spending is abysmal. Nobody seemed to figure out you actually have to have an effective military to run the “rules based order” and an economy that can support it. Instead we get expensive hardware of questionable value, and a financialized economy that doesn’t produce much.
What could go wrong there?

US democracy ‘a facade’ – Russian security chief
Washington was captured by corporate interests and is pushing their agenda on the world stage, Nikolay Patrushev has said
The US is not really a democracy, nor does it seek to promote democracy in its relations with other nations, contrary to Washington’s claims, senior Russian security official Nikolay Patrushev has said. He made the remarks while commenting on the upcoming ‘Summit for Democracy’ hosted by the US government.
Patrushev, who is the secretary of the Russian Security Council, described the US economy as “dependent on corruption and lobbying connections going to the White House and Capitol Hill.”
Corporate interests have hijacked the levers of political power in the US and use the country’s international clout to pursue their own agenda, he said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper, to be published in full later today.
Washington pursues the same approach in the international arena, where it claims to be the champion of democracy but disregards other nations’ sovereignty, Patrushev said. He believes that this “hypocrisy” will be on display at the Summit for Democracy, which will kick off this week in Washington.
The event will be “a gathering to support a world order in which Washington wants to play the central role forever. Dissenters will be labeled ‘undemocratic states,’” he predicted. The US, which “appointed itself the dictator of the world, will harass the nations whose sovereignties and democracies were undermined,” by Washington.
The reality is that “Washington has long been a leader in violating the sovereignty of other nations, in the number of wars and conflicts it has unleashed,” the security chief said. He called the nations that support this arrangement “vassals” that are constantly “humiliated” in their abusive relationships with the US.
The international event, which is being held for the second time, is meant to promote democracy against what Washington increasingly sees as assertive “authoritarian” states. The US reportedly invited all participants of the first summit, which was held in 2021, including the administration of the self-governed Chinese island of Taiwan. NATO members Hungary and Türkiye were snubbed once again, according to Foreign Policy magazine.
The unrest in Israel, so I hear, revolves around the stripping of power of its Supreme Court. The Supreme Court their has granted itself new authorities and powers over the last thirty years. Netanyahu, a conservative, has moved to revoke that authority and move it strictly back to the legislature. The liberals are extremely upset about this and the situation has become tense. Netanyahu has backed off for the moment but not fully retreated.
Notice a pattern?
Netanyahu was able to form a government which is supported by religious parties. The price Netanyahu promised to pay is a reform of the Supreme Court in such a way that it aligns (more) with the dream that the religious parties behold: the resurrection of the Sanhedrin. All this is hidden inside the package of ‘reforming the judiciary system’ in Israel. Well, this ignites the secularized Israelis to the maximum opposition.
i just read a charge that the Israeli judicial system is only responsible to itself. If true this isn’t necessarily an indicator of corruption, but becomes a major issue once the institution becomes corrupted, as you imply has happened (and all institutions will become corrupted over time). President Biden warned against reform last week, so it’s clear which side the globalists come down on here.
The only article I’ve found within easy reach is by The Volokh Conspiracy last month on Reason. They appear to have a balanced, well-thought out position.
(Separately I’d like to state my appreciation for comments by k. talaat, Alex, Ghost of Mozgovoy, and others here, without spamming the board.)
Hi! everybody
I’d like to change to narrative on the surrender of Japan. The atomic bomb didn’t stop the war, the advance of Russia in the war to Japan basically made the USA change the unconditional surrender by adding one clause that basically would of ended the war earlier in the first place, The pig headed attitude of the American government at that time and not the USA military who where mostly against it at that time (Dropping the Atomic bomb), allowed to war to go as far as it did and many people died unnecessarily. Below is an interesting article that explains this, and if you do a search you’ll find others like this one. Wikipedia mentions this but tries to bury it so you don’t notice it.
Also Larry like to thank you for the good work, keep it up.

Pax Romana… Pax Britannia and now Pax Americana…. Empires having periods that they coin as Golden ages of relative peace and prosperity based on taking other people’s stuff and destroying any competition…..enforced peace by the sword…. hardly golden ages for everyone else involved. To ensure bread and circuses a standard of living was required to placate the Masses… resources taken from the furthest reaches of the globe….and also to pay the legions…. Hard times create strong men…strong men create good times…good times create weak men and weak men create hard times….. Simplistic perhaps….the difference being of course the Consul’s and Senate of Rome lived in Rome and had a direct stake in the State….our rulers today are faceless hidden hand shareholders that are abandoning their dying exhausted host ……and because they practice esoteric death cult beliefs…. they will take everyone else down with them. There is a popular quote amongst constitutionalists…. something about a tree of liberty and watering it from time to time……the only thing that can save the world is decisive action within Americana
France has come out against the “rules based order” which tries to enslave and empoverish her people…

Today, in Nantes, a man in his 62 has suffered a cardiac arrest under the brutality of police agression….

If protestors take to the streets and try to overthrow a government the United States likes, that is bad and those protestors must be punished. However, if the government has fallen out of favor with the United States then the protestors are sanctified beings carrying out God’s will and must be supported.
Exactly. In 2017, Nancy Pelosi condemned the Antifa riots, saying “Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts“.
But Pelosi, who was still the Speaker of the House in 2019, said the Hong Kong protests were a “beautiful sight to behold”. She didn’t retract her words when the protests turned to violence — up to and including pouring gasoline on people and lighting them on fire. You can bet the US papers did not mention the human torches in Hong Kong. But media in France had the courage to tell some of the truth (see “Hong Kong: Gruesome video of man set on fire marks escalation in violence“).
So this is the “rules-based order”.
Just in case you do not take the trouble going through the thread posted above, I am posting here the video of the criminal shameful incident with the Tatar woman driving with his baby inside the car and how they are treated by the “ukrainians” from the Zelensky regime….
There are a lot of Tatars in Crimea, btw…
Where is the ICC in face of this, so worried as it is for the Ukrainian children evacuated to Russia, something to state?

We, the people of Europe, are totally aware that a harsh fascist dictatorship is unleashing over us for at least three years.
Expect us to defend ourselves.
Plays out like a US traffic-stop, examples of which are in their thousands on YouTube.
I wanted to post this video myself, but I held back because I thought that the shocking essence of what was happening would not be understood by this audience.
Even before the start of the special operation, Arestovich intimidated his viewers from Crimea with the fact that during the capture of Crimea by the Ukrainian army, not a Ukrainian soldier would enter Crimea, but a NATO soldier. He emphasized this terrifying moment: the NATO soldier.
But now it is difficult to say who is more ruthless towards women and children – a NATO mercenary or a Ukrainian.

The rules-based international order has only one rule, that those Americans who ideologically promote this concept are not held accountable for their failures in it.
The sooner American power and influence is diminished by economic and societal collapse, the better off the world will be.
You have my express written consent to call it the Rubio – Rules based international order.
I’d put the real birth of the “international rules based order” at circa 1991. To be sure the US worked it in before that and was always working up to it post 1945, but the presence of the USSR didn’t allow for it to fully blossom into the monstrosity it is today.
It’s a trite way to say empire. And that’s the problem. Our world play has fooled the people but it’s also at this point fooled the leadership class. Yes, those people lie and many of them get it that it’s an empire, at least in behavior, but because they don’t call it that they can avoid it to a large extent. Every time someone says the phrase, just hear “empire” and everything becomes clear.
“…and an aspirational goal since the nation’s founding. ”
What a blandly outrageous lie on Rand’s part. Of course, they must assume almost nobody these days has read Washington’s Farewell Address, and in these depraved times, they are probably right.
Anyone who thinks Americans, NATO members and other western allies are not fighting in Ukraine are fools. Of course they are. How easy would it be for America to have active duty military abandon their credentials and dawn Ukraine military uniforms, and likewise for other western allies.
If they are victorious then their secret is kept, if they are killed then we’ll, dead men tell no tales. Ukraine would have fallen long ago if it were JUST Ukraine military. I can’t believe this is even a debate still.
