What a juxtaposition of absurdity versus reality. On the same day that the Kyiv Independent publishes a horrific report detailing the catastrophic losses of Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut, Lloyd Austin and Mark Milley compete for the “Who is the most stupid” award. I think it is a tie. Judge for yourselves.
Let us start with the article from the Ukraine publication, the Kyiv Independent. We will use this as the benchmark to evaluate what Austin and Milley said at their press conference on Wednesday.
Battle of Bakhmut: Ukrainian soldiers worry Russians begin to ‘taste victory’
Just days before heading back to fight in the Battle of Bakhmut, a Ukrainian soldier Volodymyr, 54, said he felt ill-prepared.
“When they drive us to Bakhmut, I already know I’m being sent to death,” Volodymyr told the Kyiv Independent during his brief stay in Kramatorsk, a city in Donetsk Oblast some 25 kilometers west of the front line.
Volodymyr, an infantryman from the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, said he struggled to eat after fighting in Bakhmut for months. He looked shaken as he talked.
For two months, Volodymyr’s unit was tasked with guarding Bakhmut against small Russian assault groups creeping into the city. The brigade was constantly under mortar fire as soldiers were outdoors where shrapnels could wound or kill them at any moment.
“(The Russians) keep firing at us, but we don’t have artillery – so we have nothing to attack them back with,” Volodymyr said. “I don’t know if I will return or not. We are just getting killed.”
Ukrainian infantrymen interviewed by the Kyiv Independent described the fighting in Bakhmut as a desperate survival challenge against Russia’s “infinite” stocks of artillery munitions and manpower. With just their machine guns and rifles, they say they braced relentless Russian mortar and artillery attacks until their hideout was eventually destroyed. . . .
While Russian casualties on the Bakhmut front are assumed to be very high, Ukraine is also taking heavy losses as it holds on to the city, soldiers’ testimonies reveal. NATO intelligence estimates that at least five Russian soldiers were killed for every Ukrainian loss, CNN reported on March 6, citing an unnamed official with the alliance.
Valeriy, a Ukrainian infantryman, says that most of his fallen comrades were fatally wounded by projectile fragments.
“It’s a pity that probably 90% of our losses are from artillery – or tanks and aviation,” Valeriy told the Kyiv Independent a few hours after leaving the Bakhmut front. “And much less (casualties) from shooting battles.”
Valeriy counted that “only a few” of the original 27 members of his platoon got out of the Bakhmut front with him, though he explained that most of them were wounded, not killed.
“The Russians have so many weapons, and there are so many of them,” Valeriy said. “They are firing at us all the time. Sometimes, you hear an incoming (shell) every second.”
Russian forces have intensified their assault on Bakhmut since mid-January after capturing the nearby salt-mining town of Soledar, which sits some 15 kilometers northeast of Bakhmut.
The author of this piece tries desperately to put lipstick on the pig of Ukrainian losses by repeating the bogus CNN claim that Russia is losing troops at a five to one ration compared to Ukraine. Yet, the Ukrainian soldiers tell the real story. Russia is shelling them with a seemingly limitless supply of artillery shells and the Ukrainians have no shells to fire in return.
I repeat what I have written before — the side that fires the most artillery shells inflicts the most casualties. Just wishing that Russians are dying in droves does not make it so. The picture painted by the Kyiv Independent is grim and horrific. So keep that in mind as you listen to the Austin/Milley clown show. (I am providing key portions of the transcript below.)
Lloyd Austin: This contact group has pushed hard to ensure that Ukraine can defend itself from Putin’s Imperial aggression. Brave Ukrainians stood firm during Russia’s ground invasion with the help of their new anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles which contact group countries have provided and Russia hopes to grind down Ukraine in a war of attrition.
But Ukraine has been supplied by more than 40 countries. Meanwhile Russia has had to depend on Iran and North Korea and has had to use equipment dating back to World War II. So Russia is running out of capability and running out of Friends. Putin has now had a Year’s worth of proof that the United States and the contact group will support Ukraine’s right to defend itself for the Long Haul
Austin is delusional and a liar. He fails to note that those 40 countries can no longer supply Ukraine with 155 mm artillery shells. That includes the United States. He repeats the canard that Russia is running out of ammunition, weapons and missiles and is forced to use 80 year old equipment. Has no one briefed him on the Kinzhal hyper sonic missile that continues to wreak havoc on Ukraine? Austin reminds me of Judy Garland in the Wizard of Oz (“There is no place like home, there is no place like home). Somebody buy that man some Ruby slippers.
Austin apparently believes that if he keeps repeating the mantra that “Russia is running out of capability and running out of Friends”, it will become true. But the facts show otherwise. The new alliance between Russia and China means that Moscow has a powerful new friend. It also has strengthened relations with India and Saudi Arabia. Russia is busy creating a new multi-polar alliance that falls outside the U.S. sphere of influence. Austin betrays his ignorance and shallowness by such nonsensical claims.
Austin was not the only buffoon at the podium. General Milley demonstrated his skill as an unrepentant sychophant:
General Milley: Russia launched, and has continued for over a year now, a war of aggression and flagrant violation of international law. This is and remains a Russian frontal assault on the rules-based international order that has been in place for 80 years eight decades since the end of World War II. In the face of this act of aggression in a war of Conquest, this group remains unified. NATO is United, the people of Ukraine are unyielding. They are standing steadfast in the face for the Russian onslaught.
Russia remains isolated their military stocks are rapidly depleting. The soldiers are demoralized, untrained, unmotivated conscripts and convicts, and their leadership is failing them having already failed in their strategic objectives. Russia is increasingly relying on other countries, such as Iran and North Korea. As the secretary pointed out they’re using Iranian drones to continue to terrorize Ukrainian civilians. This relationship is built on the cruel bonds of oppressing Freedom subverting Liberty and maintaining their tyranny yet free people will not return to the shackles of tyranny.
Getting a lecture from General Milley on the sanctity of “rules based international order” is like listening to Jeffrey Dahmer warn about the risks of high cholesterol if you engage in cannibalism. I am sure that the peoples of Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria, just to mention a few, would have some scathing comments about the U.S. commitment to “rules based international order.”
Milley also is lacking in self-awareness and irony. He insists that because Russia is allegedly relying on Iran and North Korea for weapons that this is sign of weakness and failure. Hello? And Ukraine receiving aid from 40 countries is a sign of strength?
I will close with one more iconic moment from the Wizard of Oz. General Milley reminds me of the Scarecrow with a weight problem:

Yes definitely clown world.
Ignorant political and military hacks would have us believe in the Pedowood propaganda that Russians are nothing but vodka drinking thugs in Adidas track suits, sporting gold chains, skulking about in dark shady post Soviet area housing projects. The empire of lies is a den of vipers full of deceit and skullduggery, a satanic cult of death.
Lies, damned lies, and Austin & Milley. The YouTube Video Larry has posted is proof positive. As is the recent on the drone incident – complete with edited footage, mind you to stir up the media lynch mob.
Bakhmut epitomizes the US’s problems dealing with reality. And why they cannot compete with Russia or China. It is not just the Ukraine that is losing but the US.
Bakhmut is symbolic. So was the drone incident that Larry writes about so well. The US must fear the reaper, as I write here:
Austin and Milley, failure to see reality… It’s not that they are idiots and won’t see reality, it’s that we don’t have a good way to get rid of them and to bring the polity to some good sense. Hell, I can’t even send them an email. They are unreachable and yet they get to spout nonsense ad infinitum. Oh, I can write my congressman?
The same goes for much of the “administrative” state. Unreachable in even the most trivial way.
Billy Bulger says
Fun fact: Milley went to the same prep school, Belmont Hill School, as Admiral Rachel (Richard) Levine and they played on the same football team.
Fool's errands says
Western media’s beginning to talk about the huge losses of Ukraine’s best troops, while also releasing details (if not a sham diversion) of their spring offensive. Why?
I’ll bet it’s those neocons again. They actually want Ukraine’s best ultra-nationalist (i.e. bandera loving fascist) troops to bite the dust. They’re the ones who harp about their own agenda which includes anti-EU etc. I’ll just bet the neocons are figuring it best to politically (via physically) cleanse these potential troublemakers from the scene when the time comes (if ever) to integrate whatever’s left of Ukraine into the EU + NATO without this fascist hiccup. After all, does anyone REALLY think the neocons have any love for these 1488 waving fascists once the dust settles? They’re useful now but a roadblock to the neocon agenda later. Too unmanageable for them I think. On the other hand……guessing what goes on in a machiavellian neocon’s head is probably a fool’s errand.
I think the US can and is competing with Russia and China fairly successfully. It cheats but it’s doing it and will likely continue to even in a multipolar world.
The scary part is that the rhetoric of the west is painting themselves into a corner. And that corner is WWIII. Everything they say makes “the Donbas is now in Russia and Ukraine will never be in NATO” completely unacceptable. Ukrajne is going to be in such bad shape after this that “arming Ukraine for another war” isn’t going to fly. That leaves WWIII unless NATO would agree to fight Russia only on Ukrainian soil.
Ah yes, WW III, where the NATO fleet of Leopard I tanks and those APC’s from the Vietnam War with their purple-haired gender-fluid crews stream across the Russian Steppes towards Moscow. That is for three days until they run out of ammunition.
It’s a veeeeeery long front. Those weapons form 6 tank batallions that can hit weaker points and fire from distance. Not entirely useless.
i don’t know about that but…
you definitely can’t find an equivalent of videos of zombieland in philly in Russia, that’s for certain!
“… vodka drinking thugs in Adidas track suits, sporting gold chains…”
Ah yes, the legendary gopniks. What’s hilarious about that worn out old image is that young people today put it on as a parody. See?
If I were young and Russian I’d be doing exactly the same thing. What most people miss about Russians is that they have an infinite capacity for self-parody. Taking yourself too seriously in Russia is a major social faux pas. Take a look:
Mr. Johnson, thank you for being one of the few sane voices on the internet. Here in Germany almost all are victims of the permanent propaganda.

As Andrei Martyanov keeps reminding us, this is systemic.
I just came across this piece at Zerohedge:
“In Vancouver, Canada, a man who owned a Tesla opened the door of a Model 3 parked in a supermarket lot with his smartphone app. He got into the car and drove to a nearby school to pick up his kids. However, he later realized he had accidentally taken someone else’s Model 3.”
Which generated the following thought:
One of the very early memes when computers first started to become widespread in the workplace and at home was GIGO – Garbage In, Garbage Out.
Somewhere out there is a similar meme waiting to be formed which describes the situation in which so called AI – Artificial Intelligence – gets created by DI – Dumb* Intelligence and as a result ceases to be intelligent at all.
*or, if you prefer Dunce Intelligence.
The West, from AI to DI in twenty years.
Milley and Austin are run out in public to read a political statement supportive of Biden’s policy for domestic media consumption to reinforce The Narrative. Anyone with an ounce of self-respect would’ve resigned before mouthing such inanities. But since you can’t shame the shameless, they remain loyal seat-warmers, collecting their paycheck and benefits, and embarrassing themselves every day. Apparently, the price paid for a seat at the table.
According to rumors, both wanted to join the Paw Patrol Military College a few decades ago. They were unable to meet the basic minimum requirements and ended up where they are now. Murphy’s Law on steroids!
Ahem… whistling past the graveyard?
These two are cowards . . . no integrity and no virtue. ‘Virtue’ is a word little used these days because it properly means “The willingness to take a loss for the benefit of others”.
Art Thomas says
The dictionary definition of virtue is “having high moral standards”. It may be virtuous to take a loss for the benefit of others, but that is just an example of virtuous behavior and not it’s proper meaning. I’m sure you can think plenty of other human qualities that are virtuous that don’t involve taking a loss for the benefit of others: honesty, taking responsibility for one’s behavior, respecting the sovereignty of all person’s, keeping one’s promises, etc.
Philip Garber says
And all of those involve an element of sacrifice or opportunity cost if you think about it. “He who swears to his own hurt and does not change.”

Lloyd Austin could be a literal Rhodes Scholar, but he will never overcome that ridiculous video/picture of him looking like a low rent Darth Vader wearing the mask and face shield while reviewing a detachment of troops. Only a complete fool would let himself look so ridiculous while in a leadership position.

“Lloyd Austin could be a literal Rhodes Scholar”
Have they lowered the bar that much?
He and Milley are complete morons. But that’s who they want in charge; complete morons who won’t question what they’re told to say and do.
T. Martin says
Given the quality of information that has been coming from US, British, & Ukrainian sources; is it fair to ask: 1) Is the DOD drone video fake or real ( Note: there are tons of airplane videos on YouTube that are in the category of “no way”. ); 2) What was the actual weather over the Black Sea on the date and time of the actual incident (bluebird or were there cloud layers; 3) The released video shows a damaged propeller tip. Is normal flight consistent with such damage – the video doesn’t show any trend towards loss of control, & 4) Out of curiosity, is the same color quality standard in drone (Reaper Type) cameras.
Peter VE says
In regards to 3): Just how did the Russian pilot manage to slip a jet moving at several times the speed of the drone between the tailfins to clip the prop? Convenient that the video goes blank at the relevant time…
Juan Valdez says
“a Ukrainian soldier Volodymyr, 54…”
No further comment is needed.
Yes, in any normal army, a 54 year old combat arms veteran will almost always be long since retired and on disability from years of service in the field with full combat gear. Anyone that age still on active duty would be a master sergeant or master gunny, or at least LT Colonel if commissioned.
LaidBack Guy says
Actually, anyone that age who is enlisted is in one of the few top enlisted positions in their Service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines) and about to retire or just recently retired. They go in when they are 18, so at 25 years they are still only 43. As you move up in rank, the number of positions gets smaller. You compete against your peers for promotion. If you don’t get selected, your clock starts ticking for retirement.
For officers, the competitive situation described above is the same. Anyone who is 54 is a general officer who is either destined for higher grade or not and therefore going to be forced to retire. Or retired from active duty and in the Guard or Reserves. The current Air Force Chief of Staff, for example, is 60 or 61. This website seems to have pretty accurate estimations of time in service by officer rank:
Knowing all this, the media’s attempts to portray “Colonel Vindman” (he was only a light colonel, morons) as some sort of expert that everyone including Trump should hold in the highest esteem was so laughable. He was an officer in the Army in his early 40s with 20 years in the Army. BFD. Light colonels are a dime a dozen and Vindman was a staff member – a cog in the self-serving bureaucracy whose only objective is it’s survival and prosperity.
The fact that Ukraine was considering Vindman for their SecDef pretty much tells us that Ukraine was doomed from the start of this war.
on the other hand he could be a new “conscript” as they are drafting up to the age of 60 (or higher)
Send that fat F** to Bakhmut.

Based on his age, I would bet he was born as Vladimir, just like Zelensky and many other “Volodymyrs” born before Nazification.

They’d run in circles for a bit until someone plugged in their programs and gave them a script to read. After hours they’d head back to Skid Row to tell their friends about their awfully big adventure. No one would believe them of course, and nor should we.

The movie was excellent. I doubt it could be make today.
The problem with Austin, Millie, and all their Swampite ilk is that they painted themselves onto a combat corner because they never thought this thing through. They were so wildly successful in obliterating Iraqis, Libyans, Serbs, Afghanis, etc., with absolutely no consequences that they got slap happy stupid and assumed that the same target and attack stunts on defenseless populations would work everywhere, including a modern nuclear armed nation that has always proven itself more than capable of fighting back.
Now they are stuck and they don’t want to look like loser morons in front of the whole planet so they will do the cornered rat routine and jump the shark.
Aside from the reckless endangerment and carnage they put upon the nation they claim to defend, the worst thing they are advertising are their lousy educations.
Absolutely no historical knowledge about the nation they are provoking, nor the nation they are pawning, nor the ethnicities involved. Although they do know an awful lot about the vast and fabled natural resources that they would dearly love to steal, if only they could only get rid of all those humans living and working on the surface of them all. Absolutely no knowledge of the shifting borders or why. Absolutely oblivious to the ill will and permanent enemies they are creating for us. Absolutely oblivious to the billions and billions and billions of American tax money squandered on this completely avoidable war even as the Americans of East Palestine continue to live in a poisoned environment because they are less important to American leadership than a distant conflict. Never hear the word Taurida nor how it applies to the mess they created, but guaranteed they will look it up if they read it here and pretend they knew all along, just like all their other things they pretend to know but really don’t because they figure their fancy connections will compensate for their paucity of historical knowledge. All they are really concerned about is fattening up the paycheck, expanding their reach, increasing the booty, and strengthening their grip on power. And abusing American servicemen to do so.
In future there should be some kind of history, geography, general knowledge, etc., test required of leadership above a certain point, because at this point they all look like violence prone dunces and fops.
Sun Tzu would have written a book on their stupidity alone.

America has a really deep problem: Here in the Judging Freedom line-up from today (16th), Judge Andrew Napolitano’s guest is Scott Ritter, I’ll say as TRUTH-TELLER, a highly worthwhile 25:13 but it can easily be sped up 1.5x
I listened to this with relish for the sake of Ritter’s rant–genuine, fact-based conviction–and compared it to the bland hateful IGNORANT warmongering of Senator Graham’s recent invocation of “what President Reagan would have done.” Ugh!
America is brimming over with idiots who are glad to blither concerning what “we” MUST do, but without any regard whatsoever for what the U.S. military actually CAN do, short of using nuclear weapons in a suicidal first-strike.
In Clint Eastwood’s grandly successful cultural franchise of the Dirty Harry films, Lt. Callahan has some famous lines, but the leitmotif is too easily forgotten, despite Callahan reminding of it several times in each film:
Every man should know his own limitations.
In this cinematic franchise, Callahan does indeed know his own limitations, while none of the evil-doers do, and in the act of exceeding those limitations, they place themselves directly into the path of their own destruction.
Alas, this is a moral lesson totally lost on the uppermost echelons of U.S. leadership within the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches, and especially of the Departments of State and Defense, and the CIA and FBI. Their blindness is wilful, borne of a psychopathic delusion that they have so well hedged, covered, and arranged contingency plans as to be invulnerable. In the language of the street, “bulletproof and invisible.”
As to how deeply I fear this has gone into the upper ranks of our military, officers of two-star rank and above appear to have nearly uniformly bought into directing military operations, staffing, planning, postures, funding, and equipping as instrumentalities, not of defending the Republic and U.S. territories, but of ensuring that they can climb onto the escalator of promotions and emoluments that politics rewards more richly than military excellence, integrity, or even heroism.
Scott Ritter, the crypto jew, would have never gotten involved in this whole ordeal, if it wasn`t for those pesky `Nazis`, who strangly enough do the DYING for the chosenite-run west…
i remember him totally losing it several times, when it comes to those horrible `Nazis`, but not so much about Russia`s motivation or losses as to it all…quite the opposite actually…
the only time you see “Ritter”, if that even is his real name, get involved, is when those WW2-relicts are adressed…expect foaming at the mouth kinda stuff…

American “exeptionalism” is the #1 psychological disorder in America.
It seems to me most Americans view the world as “theirs”, to do with as they wish.
On a daily basis more Americans give me reasons to stop listening to them.
Just yesterday the a YT channel I have followed for several years due to his quality content- Blancolirio- did a video about how unprofessional and poorly trained the Russian pilots who knocked the drone out of the sky were.
In his assessment their ineptitude caused this innocent American military drone flying in international airspace, just off the Russian coast, 7000 miles from America- to crash because they ran into it.
This is a perfect example of the delusional attitude that America can do anything it wants, where ever it wants and no one is permitted to say or do anything.
If you act against American aggression- you are a terrorist state and a threat to the “rules of the American order”.

Another excellent article from you Larry – thanks.
I saw video a few weeks ago showing Yevgeny Prigozhin of Wagner Group on rooftop displaying three very young skinny Ukraine youth along with an elderly man who looked to be at least 60 years old – they all looked bedraggled and hopeless after being captured by Wagner Group soldiers. No doubt they have been counting their blessings after being what can only be considered rescued from the Ukraine press gang death squads.
Given the testimonies of Ukraine soldiers like the soldiers testimony in this article, I am just amazed at how the Ukraine people are tolerating this.
If I were a young or older Ukraine who had not been wealthy enough to escape from Ukraine long ago and had been scooped up off the streets, given a rifle and next to no training and then ordered into battle against the Russians then I would make a decision based on a very simple calculation as follows:
“I am most likely going to die a horrible death, or worse be terribly wounded and mangled and have to spend the rest of my life as a crippled invalid with no future to look forward to. Either way my chances of survival are near to zero. So I will do the better thing and shoot my commanding officer in the head and then exhort my comrades to rise up and shoot all the commanding officers, and if we manage to pull that off then we can surrender to the Russians get a good meal and have a future to look forward to.
I will never be able to understand why so many people allow themselves to be slaughtered and maimed and remain so subservient to such an evil corrupt regime of Nazi scum.
The carnage would end if enough Ukraine conscripts (which has to now be the bulk of their army) just said “ENOUGH” and rose up en masse and shot their commanding officers. It would end very quickly then.
It is unbelievable what people are willing to put up with and suffer for such a wicked criminal enterprise that everyone with half a brain knows is going to fail in the end.
So my exhortation to all those young and old Ukraine people who have been press-ganged into the front lines is “RISE UP AND SHOOT YOUR DAMNED COMMANDING OFFICERS”.
you keep on `exhortating`from the warmth of your fireplace rockingchair…

As he put it ” I was put into a uniform and boots that were too big and given a rifle which was too heavy. I was now officially a member of the master race and sent to Denmark to guard the port of Esbjerg.” How deperate was Germany?
This did not do wonders for him and at the earliest opportunity after the end of the war he left Germany extremely disillusioned! What good did it do for anybody?

The problem is that theses deluded exceptionalists still believe this, a 2004 quote from Newsweek, purportedly stated by Karl Rove at the height of US post 9/11 hubris:
“People like you are still living in what we call the reality-based community. You believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality. That’s not the way the world really works anymore. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you are studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors, and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
there`s the US “rules-based order” for you in a nutshell.

After all the fake QE money have got to go somewhere. Where better than the elite class?

Those two were placed where they are intentionally as part of the long term inner strategy to collapse the US including its military.
I hope the US defence budget includes the psychiatric mental health care for delusional disorder because they really need it.
As for the drone on the bottom of the black sea, there is a yacht with 8 Ukrainians very likely to bring it up.
They still have not woken up to the fact that they aren’t fighting (bullying) against defenceless arabs & afghans sanctioned to the bones. I just hope that when they finally do wake up, it wont be to the nightmare of radioactive cloud & dust enveloping the northern hemisphere.
Austin is a hopeless case, but Milley knew how to be honest, probably unconsciously, However, Milley would quickly revert to liar mode. I remember that after the Russian strategic withdrawal from Kherson, Milley told the Ukrainians: “That’s it. You have no more power to conquer, and the Russians will not give up anything.”
He thus indirectly told the Ukrainians to start negotiations. He quickly changed the story, and the result is known. From November to today, thousands of Ukrainians have died, the Russians have recorded new territorial conquests. The end of the war does not suit the empire of lies, they are forcing the Ukrainians into a “counter-offensive” that will finish them off demographically.
What can we say when we remember the agreement reached in Istanbul in March last year, at a time when very little blood was spilled, and Russian tanks carefully stopped at the pedestrian crossing to let pedestrians pass. Everything was specified: the Ukrainians will declare neutrality, they will undertake not to terrorize the civilians of Donbass, the Russians will withdraw to their positions before February 24, the issue of Crimea will be frozen for 15 years. As a sign of goodwill, before the Ukrainians began to fulfill their part of the agreement, the Russians left the area north of Kiev, which the empire of lies presented as the result of a successful Ukrainian offensive. Then Boris Johnson came to Kiev…
Russia is increasingly relying on other countries such as Iran and North Korea.
First, Russia relies only on itself.
Secondly, Iran and North Korea are countries that also rely on themselves.
Why not China?
It is terrible to mention the solidarity of China with Russia.
Third, who does the US rely on in its proxy wars?
On ISIS, on the Mujahideen, on the Bedouins of the African desert, on the Nazi regiments “Azov”, “Kraken”, “Right Sector”, on radical Islamists, pagans and all terrorist organizations in the world.
The United States has a great army.
An interesting point. Since the beginning of the war, we have been hearing the same spell-song from the “free world” that Russia is running out of shells, and here Prigozhin composes a refrain from the “camp” to this cheerful song: “Give Wagner shells!”.
And who will say now that Prigozhin is not a troll?
Come out, America, to fight one on one! Don’t be afraid – Wagner has run out of shells.
just saying says
Do you mean this song? Is there a translation somwhere?
I haven’t heard this song before.
I like your sense of humor.

You: “… and here Prigozhin composes a refrain from the “camp” to this cheerful song: “Give Wagner shells!”.”
Me: *posts a link to a cheerful song: “Give shells to the Wagners”*
You: “I haven’t heard this song before.”
I feel like I am being trolled by Prigozhin himself. 🙂
No, I didn’t troll you. I really haven’t heard this song before. I don’t like “rap” songs (if I call the style right).
There’s been a misunderstanding.
In my text, I could use the word “mantra” instead of the word “song”. Anyway, it was an allegory, but you took it literally.
But, after listening to the song at the link, I thought that Prigogine was not trolling anyone, he turned out to be dumber than I thought about him. Prigozhin seems to have been blown away by megalomania and panders to the mores of the mob.
just saying says
I know. I’m just kidding. 🙂
Prigozhin is what they call “street smart”. He is using all the fuss as free marketing for his bussiness. PMC Wagner has become a well-known brand over night.
There, even in Russian, the words are difficult to make out, except for Prigozhin’s remark: “They didn’t give us shells, they don’t give us!”
I found the tex myself, made a translation through Google.
“Give shells to the Wagners”
Mr. Minister, where is my art?
Where are my ammo? Tanks to wait when? When?
I move the front line, I inspire fear in the enemy
Khokhols steal bullets in warm bodies.
I see two hundredths
Russia has three enemies:
Envy, stupidity, bureaucracy
Bam bam bam! Give shells to the Wagners!
In your office
The lamp shines softly
Bam bam bam! Give shells to the Wagners!
You get your ass off
To the fraternal trench
Bam bam bam! Give shells to the Wagners!
Long crumple titi
Maybe you are a pest?
Bam bam bam! Give shells to the Wagners!
Or secretly waiting for champagne
In the warm prisons of the Netherlands?
Mr. Minister, my success has touched you so much
I’m sorry for God’s sake
I honestly didn’t want
Don’t be afraid, I’m on your chest
I won’t take off the medals.
I’m bringing awards
I fight for the country
On the front line fighting
With enemy hypocrisy
So that Russia suddenly does not become

Spasibo. I’ve managed to find site with lyrics for this and some other Wagner songs:
For some reason they lack the biggest banger of them all:
“Prigozhin is what they call a ‘street nerd’.
And we say “city madman”.
It’s funny. I don’t know how to put a smiley face.

‘street nerd’ sounds more like an insult. I guess some things get lost in translation. 🙂
For smileys, just type them old style, with punctuation marks.

Kalmar Emeric says
They both got the Biden-Belensky zooclown virus.
Symptoms: compulsive lying, idiotic fabulations, fabrication of unbelievable scenarios, false sense of invincibility, visceral hate and envy towards the Russians and last but not least an animalic fear from everything that contradicts their perception of the inconvenient—for them—reality.
Because self assured and truthful people don’t need to rewrite reality. So these clowns are really scared. Mr. Llyod Austin look pale and Mr. Mark Milley has his usual bags under his eyes, which are a sure sign of heart disease. But I don’t pity them, because they fully deserve their fate.
I wish them yet another good night sleep, with ever-returning nightmares about dying, bleeding, shouting young Ukrainian soldiers, crying mothers, HIMARS killed children and young girls, burning houses and horror.
One question for the learned friends: Has anybody overlaid profile of russian jet on top of the drone profile? It seems to me (debatable) aircraft cannot clip propeller without clipping slanted tail section.
Steve Fenwick says
No it cannot hit the propeller without taking out the complete rear end of the drone. More to the point, what happened to the yellow stripes on the propeller blades? They are clearly visible after the first pass, but have disappeared in the clip at the end.
Watch it again – you will see.
Milley looks petrified. He knows the truth, but is obliged to stand up in front of cameras spouting lies. He knows that he’s going to be found out fairly soon, and that the charade is going to come crashing down around him.
Hans Vogel says
Well, actually, General Milley may be right after all. In the “Rules-Based International Order,” it is only the US and countries that it designates, that have the right to invade, bomb and occupy other nations. That is why he seems oblivious of Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, etc.
In other words, “Rules-Based International Order” is just an inoffensive-sounding and misleading synonym for “US Empire.”
Larry, they also are skilled at the use of word salad:
“This relationship is built on the cruel bonds of oppressing Freedom subverting Liberty and maintaining their tyranny yet free people will not return to the shackles of tyranny.”
not sure what that meant (did Kamala write it?), so I asked chatgpt, but that didnt help.
Of course, not sure what freedom the one party Ukrainian state with all opposition media banned that sends 54 yr old untrained meat to the front and has an economy in freefall is being referenced, to either. But I do have a headache.
Наталья Волкова says
America will be USSR 2.0
I won’t be unhappy to see it break up into small parts. After 13 months I’ve had enough of this American aggression towards us.
That aggression was there for centuries, maybe even milenia or even longer (why is word Slav very similar to word Slave?), but its better to figure it out late then never I guess 😀
Allan Mountain says
Perfectly true and understandable Наталья Волкова
But I suspect that with the advanced AI surveillance and drone targeting capabilities that USA has developed, when the equivalent 1917-type collapse chaos moment breaks on USA the outcome will be much worse for USA than it was back then for the Russian people – like orders of magnitude worse.
I do however feel deeply sad for those good souls like Larry who are doing all they can to halt the decent into madness and tyranny that will result from all this. It is bound to get really ugly as it will also get across all the Anglo-American-NATO gang which are joined at the hip like a cluster of Siamese quintuplets.
Of course that will be the time when they become seriously dangerous – much more so than they are now
Don Quick Set aka Boris Johnson says
Well, Russia is the one who stepped in to save Lincoln in keeping the country from splitting in two.
Just imagine, had the Confederacy won, the two halves would still be looking to neuter each other to this day, instead of marching across the world in search of windmills.
Allan Mountain says
Oh so true. It is one of those less known facts of history which for obvious reasons, especially now and during the Cold War antagonisms, have been actively hidden. Thanks for reminding us.
There used to be a lot more available and easily accessible online about the history of how Russia helped the American patriots in the War of Independence as well as in the Civil War, but as with so many other matters that the Deep State powers do not want people to know about, the corporate controlled search engine algos have disappeared a lot of what used to be available.
The link below is to an excellent article written by Policy Analyst at the Russian Public Affairs Committee (Ru-PAC) Alexey Viryasov and published on 03 July 2020 by RIAC (Russian International Affairs Council) celebrating those events and congratulating the American people on American Independence Day.
How Russia Saved the United States Twice
The end of that article reads as follows:
Today, it’s worth congratulating Americans as they celebrate their independence and the profound impact that American democracy has had on the world. At the same time, it’s also worth remembering the instrumental role that Russia played in making the American experiment possible and that together the United States and Russia can do great things.
Our best days are not behind us.
My comment further as follows:
Given how Anglo-American nations and NATO persist in doing everything they can to smash and destroy Russia so they can continue with the 1990s Shock Therapy economic subversion of Russia in order to control all the resources across that vast resource-rich country it will be many years hence before there will ever again be any trust and good relations between Russia and America.
And to think what a wonderful world it might otherwise have been had there been some honest good faith dealing with Russia by the Anglo-American-NATO nations.
Time to move on.

Don Quickset… LOL. Is there any foreign name or word anywhere that a Brit can pronounce properly?
I even heard Mercouris speaking of Henry Cabot Lodge the other day, pronouncing it KAY-but, not CAB-ut. Seriously, what’s wrong with you Brits?
Sorry for the rant but the Brits really do get under too many skins lately. Start you own wars, leave us Yanks out of it.
As a general comment. I used to read your column last at the end of my 3-4hr morning news reading binge, sort of like a beer at the end of a long hot day. The other reading was across a broad range of views enabling me to determine which narratives made most sense, what do I know? all I have to go on is what I read.
Now you are the top of my list in the morning followed by The Hill and The Guardian, the latter two to provide a good laugh in an otherwise tragic war.
Not that your column isn’t funny, the picture of Little Green Zelenskyy popping out of Uncle Sam’s rear end has me laughing to this day. It’s a different sort of laugh from The Hill and The Guardian. (Except for Little Green Luke Harding who is hard to stomach.)
Now it only takes 20mins and I can get on with my day.
Thank you for your work.

Wondering if Lindsay Graham’s latest about shooting down russian jets is a sign his wheels are coming off due to realization he will be in office when shit hits the fan. My Fellow Merkins (as LBJ frequently call his fellow Americans),
One advantage of being born in the last millennium, of living ¾ of a Century, is you get to witness what is now history when history was being written. Today’s world is never exactly the same as it was yesterday. It’s in a constant state of flux, some fluxing for the better, some not, but I got to admit, for better or worse, there is, in my humble and no so humble opinion, a strong likelihood, not seen since Adam and Eve’s sojourn in Eden’s garden, that the history being written today will have no readers.
Suffice it to say the Elitest of the Unicorn Western Globalist world, led by Our Country Tis of Thee, the Vassal states also known as the EU and the upside down Aussies, comprised mostly of its billionaire and gazillionaire bottom feeders, neo-Cons and neo-Libs, members of the U.S. Congress and the Corporate Media have sugar coated, blown smoke up our backside and jerked our chain, euphemisms for ‘LIED’, to you, me and rest of our Fellow Merkins.
The world is heading, perhaps slipping into an abyss known as WWIII with Russia. Russia claims it invaded Ukraine because it was and is existential for them. For the U.S. it never was, but the Elite continue to sell us a pig in a poke as if it was the Gospel Truth itself, when what it sells us is glittering Fools Gold (Pyrite). Of course once we Cross the Rubicon, passing a point of no return, the TRUTH will no longer matter for it then become existential for everyone. We will at that point be writing a history that will have no readers!
I hope you don’t mind my sharing with you a poem I wrote, just published, titled The Pyrite’acy of Truth http://www.thelakepoetry.co.uk/poetry/jimmy-r-coleman/ , food for thought, if you will:
The Pyrite’acy of Truth ©
fool’s gold has been known to contain miniscule amounts of gold,
not enough mind ya to make a fool a millionaire.
lies have been known to contain an ounce or two of stretchable truth,
not enough mind ya to make one an honest Abe.
an otherwise rational person fed a glittering fluff and puff frequently enough,
with scarcely a jot of truth passing in between heaven and earth,
will soon find it difficult to differentiate the illusion of truth from reality,
catnip from cat litter.
a fool’s gold certitude left unchallenged starts sounding like the Gospel truth itself.
beware those who depict evil as good and good as evil,
darkness for light and light for darkness,
bitter as sweet and sweet as bitter.
fore you know it, an otherwise rational person will regurgitate what’s been spoon fed’em,
jibber jabbering like they was a parrot,
fervently sporting positions that had they tak’en time to put on their thinking cap,
might have chosen a different path to travel in yonder yellow wood.
gotta pick a lot of cotton just to make one dress…
gotta lift a lot of stones to bypass pockets of fool’s gold to get at the truth.
sometimes the other person may be right…
better to accept an uncomfortable truth even if it means burying a comfortable lie
“Getting a lecture from General Milley on the sanctity of “rules based international order” is like listening to Jeffrey Dahmer warn about the risks of high cholesterol if you engage in cannibalism. ”
That says it so perfectly! We don’t even have rules based national order. A Ukrainian refugee family in Seattle just had their newly purchased car stolen from them the day after they bought it. $11,000 in cash for a modest, running car. They hadn’t been able to get insurance, so it’s a total loss. The car was in a terrible accident, injuring the thief and critically injuring his underage partners and the driver of the car they hit, so the Ukrainians have to worry about getting sued if they can’t prove they didn’t leave the keys in the car before it was stolen. They’ll probably have to pay the police impound fees, too.
It’s not just the lawless ‘blue’ states. A couple of days ago in Houston, an immigrant from Vietnam was thrown to the ground by a robber who had followed her from the bank after she withdrew some funds to make a visit back to Vietnam. She’s now paralyzed, incontinent, and her children are taking care of her. I read this is happening a lot in TX and AZ. People are thinking organized crime has insiders in the banks who are alerting partners outside when customers take out cash. This happened in Russia after the Harvard Boys advised the country into default in the late 1990s. That’s why Putin was elected – to stabilize life for the average person.
Now we live in Cannibal Land, USA, bailing out banks that aren’t even safe to visit.
Allan Mountain says
WOW doesn’t that sums it all up MTP
I have an American lady friend now in her 70s who migrated to Moscow Russia just before Russia launched the Special Military Operation. She loves Opera and having previously visited Moscow and attended some Bolshoi Theatre opera she decided to go and live there.
Here’s the kicker:
She emailed me a few months after being in Moscow and said how wonderful it was to living in Moscow and that it feels like America was 50 to 60 years ago.
She wrote how clean and rubbish free the streets are. Whenever she goes shopping young men when they see her carrying a bag of food etc will offer to carry it for her. When she hails a taxi men will step from the pavements and open the taxi door for her.
Contrast that with American and other Western cities and what is going in them today – not to mention the contempt and disregard most young people in the Anglo-America nations hold their elders in now.
How the world has turned. Very sad.
Larry Saved Me From Torture…
All the world is a stage upon which most performances are comedies.
Hence “analysts” and “journalists” tend to be theatre critics.
Some see history
Some see opportunity
Some see devious bastardry
Some see multi-polarity.
whilst some mountains have themselves to climb.
To be fair, Allan, such a pastoral picture of Russia is not entirely objective.
Anything happens in Russian society – there is hooliganism, and aggression of drivers on the roads, and thefts, and murders, and scandals in public transport, and drunken showdowns between neighbors, as in any living society.
The clean streets of Moscow and other cities are true. But when the snow melts, for about 2 weeks in the spring, the streets in my city look untidy.
The offer to help an elderly woman carry a bag of groceries comes up and does not surprise me, but this is more the exception than the rule.
It is customary for us to give up a seat in public transport to the elderly and children.
But to open the doors of a taxi – I have never seen this.
Before the war, I kept in touch with a Russian who had been living in the US for over 20 years. A couple of years ago, he came to Russia for a month in his native provincial town near St. Petersburg and shared his most striking impression: silence, peace, safety, the ability to wander the streets at night without a gun in his pocket and not be afraid of anything or anyone.
Allan Mountain says
Thanks for that
It might also have to do with the fact that she lives in one of the more exclusive suburbs – name of which I forget now – but I recall her saying that Putins’s residence when he is not living in Kremlin is not far from her place.
I also recall her writing that when Putin is driven to his residence that the main roads into Moscow central where she lives are shut off and the security is enormous
In a word, Russia is a normal country, no worse than countries from the “civilized free world” that live by the rules of the world order. Russians are not evil people at all. Putin is not a tyrant, not a dictator, not crazy, but a very kind and wise ruler.
Fwiw, Simplicius (aka Night Vision from Saker) based on events timing thinks the rumour of 40 sr Nato officers killed in strike on deep underground secret bunker in Kiev is likely true. US crazy goes vertical off the charts.

I have one close friend who is a senior officer in that line if work who says the number of cadres in place there is huge and they don’t need to have US personnel to man the controls. So a bunker full of high end toys does not need US people at risk. They have been working towards this for almost 10 years now. LOTS of people back there. It’s the front where they are running out.
Yes, his article mentions scrambling B52s towards St. Petersburg in a mock nuclear strike. I shook my head in disbelief at the stupidity of that act. Trying to start a nuclear war in a hissy-fit. How did these spoiled, brat children get into power?
Simplicius disappointingly also refers to a video/simulation of a Reaper drone and takes it as proof that the downed drone was equipped with Gorgon Stare. (It may of course be, but there’s no video to document it.)
Who is this Bernard fella? I thought the comments here were moderated.

The U.S. has now released video footage of the Russian pilot hitting the drone, which supports the U.S. account of what happened and exposed the Russian Ambassador as a liar. As you said yesterday, this has given the U.S. a major PR coup. So why did Russia lie about it? It’s a surveillance drone with cameras all over it, so surely they knew the accidental hit was on video. So again, why would they lie about it and make themselves look so foolish?
Allan Mountain says

It’s Getting Harder to Spot a Deep Fake Video
Now I am not trying to state that this is what has happened here because I do not know.
What I do know – I think it is fair to say what we all know – is how prone America and other nations are to fake and lie about everything.
BUT as you point out here: “So again, why would they lie about it and make themselves look so foolish?”
Yes that is the big question
Why would the Russians lie about something if they knew for sure beforehand that they would have to be found out. Very puzzling indeed.
Jim S says
Regards Deep Fakes, within 5 years we will generally not be able to detect faked photographic or video evidence. I don’t know how the courts in particular will cope with this waking nightmare. And next practically every historical image or video will be accused of being fakes–and perhaps they will be! Imagine a schoolchild writing a history report and being confronted with dozens or hundreds of AI-altered images. Instead of JFK being shot and his brains scattered over the boot of the limo behind him, some images will show them being blown toward the bonnet of the limo, or perhaps show him being shot in the shoulder, or perhaps show Jackie or the governor being shot instead. How will we know what is true?
“Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet.”

On the other hand it may not matter soon. It appears Russia is willing to commit what may amount to an act of war over international waters, so I doubt that the Foreign Ministry is too concerned about spinning a believable story; in fact, I’d wager that the real message is “Dear NATO, we are prepared to go toe to toe with you if you desire to start WW3.” The MonkeyWerx recent broadcasts have highlighted NATO moves toward this.
Once it begins, it will quickly go nuclear. Dr Strangelove, here we come.
Not sure which narrative covers the drone incident best.
I have seen many photos of WW2 propeller planes with mangled propellers that made it home. Then I look at the tiny bend on the drone propeller….. somebody tell me if that is enough to down the drone.
Also, what is the point of dumping kerosene on the drone. Is this a ‘Crazy Ivan’ type trick….. or simply Ivan ‘pissing on your back’…_
You need to use word “lie” a few more times for the proper effect. That is some rookie level trolling.
Yeah, Right says
I’m looking at a photo of a Reaper drone right now, and for the life of me I cannot see how it is the slightest bit possible to hit the propeller with also taking out either the vertical fins, or the ventral fin, or at least one wing.
Yet that video shows zero damage to any of them.
I’m left with only two explanations:
1) That Su-27 pilot flew up to the Drone, matched speed with it, opened hit cockpit, and smacked the propeller wit A Very Long Stick
2) The video is fake

A little off topic.
Yesterday, the PolitWera channel showed a stream with Alla Tronina (a former military criminal prosecutor, retired lieutenant colonel of justice, who took part in the investigation into the sinking of the Kursk submarine and the identification of the bodies of the dead sailors).
“The death of the Kursk. There are no more secrets”
Lots of interesting photos.
The crash happened on August 12, 2000.
The investigation went on for 2 years.
For those who cannot or do not want to listen, I will summarize the main points.
– The cruiser sank at a depth of 108 m. The Norwegian seismic service recorded 2 strong shocks with an interval of 2 minutes.
– There was no external impact (no torpedoes, no collision). There was an accident on board, the reactor exploded.
– Most of the crew died immediately at their jobs. Only 23 sailors took refuge in compartment number 9, died later from carbon monoxide 7-8 hours after the explosion.
– NATO assisted in lifting the boat. The whole world watched with tension.
– The service of submariners is the most difficult and dangerous in the army. All the military have great respect for the submariner.
– After the death of the submarine, the revival of the Russian army began. The accident shook the whole country. The struggle for the viability of the country began. In this sense, the sailors did not die in vain.
– The boat was raised and the dead were removed after 1.5 years.
– The distorted object raised from the bottom of the sea radiated powerful negative energy. It was difficult to be near because of the oppressive effect.

We do not imagine the consequences of a nuclear war for all mankind. The only ones who can come close to understanding are sailors from nuclear submarines on both warring sides. I hope that they (Russians and Americans) treat each other’s service, professionalism, moral qualities and life with respect and will not allow this

Just to say that I read your answer in the previous post and I believe that you are probably right. As I wrote, I am absolutely sure that Russia did everything to avoid conflict! But I always had the feeling that after the fall of the USSR Russia paid more respect to the EU than Western Europe really deserves. The whole tragedy of the 90’s in Russia could have been very easily avoided by Europe! And hence the different approach in Kazakhstan. Like is doing everything to avoid escalating the conflict to a WWIII. Even one of the Ukrainian propaganda chiefs, Arestovitch, has already admitted that Russia only entered Ukraine to negotiate. What I also realized on the 24th of February. Posture that Russia never abandoned! Nor do I believe that Russia has any interest in crossing the Dnieper. Russia does not need more territories. Russia seeks peace!
Perhaps just my mind is still trying to avoid the carnage that we all witness on a daily basis and that in my opinion should startle everyone more, particularly in Europe. And don’t get me wrong, I hold zero responsibility on Russia! Who did what he had to do in the face of the existential threat! Russia has supported for over a decade the existential threat of missiles in Poland and Romania that the US did not accept in Cuba! Which the EU should never have tolerated in Europe! When we all missed an excellent opportunity for a much better relationship with Russia in Europe! I am also an economist and share many of Jeffrey Sachs’ views today. Not with the Jeffrey Sachs of the 90’s! Europe should never have allowed the enlargement of NATO as promised to Gorbatachev! But a lot of this today has to do with the US dominating all global media platforms.
The people of Ukraine themselves should have done much more to prevent this war. At least go out into the street to protest your Govt! One of the biggest lies we are told is that the majority of Ukrainian people before Euromaidan wanted to join NATO! It is fake and attached NATO document. On page 32:
And even after Euromaidan polls in Kiev’s Independent – a thoroughly pro-Maidan newspaper – showed that more than 50% of Ukraine did not agree with Euromaidan! But the US has over 50 years of practice overthrowing Govts and shaping perceptions! It’s almost impossible to beat them in this area! In short, and so that there are no doubts between the two of us, this war, which is mainly economic like all wars, was totally provoked by the US! To disconnect Europe from Russia, overthrow the Govt in Moscow and go back to stealing Russia’s resources with a CIA puppet like Navalny. Like Guaidó in Venezuela. For the control of Eurasia without China! This is what the US was looking for in Europe and lost! In fact, they are losing power all over the world every day with this conflict! Russia knew how to expose the US very well in the global south!
And today’s ICC decision as I also foresaw, just proves the huge defeat of the US in this war! At all levels! Desperate to open another front in Georgia! Shameful decision that Russia also knew yesterday and I only hope that it will serve at least for Russia to better dose the respect that the entire West deserves! That is, zero today! After all criminal wars of US! Even for Putin’s statements reminding the Ukrainian troops to prepare the final attack on Donbass for which Russia acted and very well art. 51 of the UN Charter to prevent the attack. A shameful decision by the ICC that could also turn against the sorcerer like economic sanctions and make many people think of the Yugoslavia and Kosovo Judgments. In fact the first war against Russia after the cold war! Pentagon organized the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina (1992-95), a European Muslim state. It was a matter for US strategists to test the possibility of dividing a country (Yugoslavia) and mobilizing its allies against Russian-cultured populations (the Serbs, the Montenegrins and the Macedonians). They entrusted the organization of Muslim troops to another of their agents, Osama Bin Laden, who became military adviser to President Alija Izetbegović. And I as a European regret the shameful role of the EU even more!
There are also those who believe that a Kinzhal 3 days ago killed 40 NATO officers and they are completely desperate! If it happened, I just want to say that they deserved it since 1949! And I only regret that a monster like Victoria Nuland, responsible for all the deaths in Ukraine, was not also with the NATO officials!
p.s. All the best to Geta. Which, to be honest, I had been thinking that I was also pointing some responsibility to Russia. Good thing not!
Thank you Paulo, I share almost all of your thoughts and am very grateful for your understanding of the position and actions of Russia. Thanks go to most of the comments on this site, including author Larry Johnson.
“The people of Ukraine themselves had to do much more to prevent this war”
They couldn’t. Nazism is such a contagion that when it becomes a state ideology, it infects the whole society. The Ukrainians (the vast majority) could not come to terms with the departure of the Crimea, could not forgive the offense, they are very angry. But they saw the return of Crimea to Ukraine only through violence, discrimination, physical extermination and expulsion of the inhabitants of Crimea. The Ukrainians are fighting so furiously because the meaning of this war for them was to kill as many Russians as possible. They are obsessed with revenge.
This site does not say anything about what is happening in the liberated territories – in the cities of Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, Melitopol, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. There, under the leadership and direct participation of the arrived Russians, roads, bridges, residential buildings, hospitals, schools are being restored and rebuilt, a peaceful working life is being established, enterprises providing jobs are being launched, a sowing campaign is being organized, a huge pile of problems are being solved. The main thing is to ensure solidarity with local residents.

Russian RT has published a Russian expert analysis https://russian.rt.com/world/article/1124070-bespilotnik-mq-9-reaper-chyornoe-more
Military expert Yuri Lyamin, commenting on the video published by the US military, stated that it serves as additional evidence that Russian aircraft did not use weapons against the MQ-9 Reaper.
At the same time, the video does not shed light on exactly how the Reaper received the damage that led to its fall into the Black Sea, Lyamin noted.
“The dumping of fuel itself is a warning technique that was used back in the Cold War to force an intruder to change course. By itself, dropping fuel cannot lead to the fall of the drone. However, the video does not show the alleged contact between the Su-27 and the drone, as claimed by the Pentagon ,” the military analyst explained.
In turn, the honored military pilot of the Russian Federation, retired Major General Vladimir Popov, in a conversation with RT, suggested that the fall of the American UAV was most likely due to its improper maneuvering.
“A turbulent trail remains from a passing aircraft, the flow of the wing flow is disrupted. When you turn on the maximum engine operation at this time, turbulence in the air masses increases many times, and the flow around a straight wing of such a large span (for the MQ-9 Reaper it is 20 m) is much more subject to large turbulent changes. Somewhere there was a stall, somewhere the lifting force decreased or increased, his control systems could not even cope. All this could lead to his breakdown into a tailspin, into an uncontrolled flight. The specialists who controlled it could rush to change the flight mode and introduce additional deviations into the control system, ”said the pilot.
At the same time, he expressed the opinion that it is first necessary to assess the state of the wreckage of the American drone, and only then try to raise it from the bottom of the Black Sea.
“All strategic drones have self-destruct systems. It is possible that it could be activated. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the depth and area of the fall, calculate the cost of the operation, so that the search and evacuation of the wreckage are justified, ”Popov believes.
From his point of view, the incident with the American UAV is unlikely to have any impact on the security of Crimea. “We will continue to defend our interests, the air defense system will continue to work. Only now Russia will control this section of airspace even more tightly, ”the expert concluded.
Simplicius 76 thinks that the US is reacting like a wounded animal, because of the Kinzhal attack on a NATO bunker in Kiev where 40+ NATO specialists where gathered. Firstly the Pentagon sent a B-52 Nuclear Bomber from Sweden to the Finnish Gulf as if it straightforwardly would target St Petersburg (but it sharply bended away to the south at the outer end of the Estonian airspace. Secondly the Reaper drone was sent into the No-Fly zone near Crimea. According to Simplicius76 this affirms, that the Kinzhal attack had been successful.

News from the frontline near Ugledar https://www.kp.ru/daily/27479.5/4735053/
The Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the assault on the positions of Ukrainian nationalists
Marines of the Pacific Fleet break into trenches hit by army aircraft
The Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of a massive strike on the positions of the Kyiv regime mercenaries in the Ugledar direction.
Advance groups of assault detachments of the marines of the Pacific Fleet and motorized riflemen break into the trenches of Ukrainian nationalists. The fighters are literally advancing on the corpses of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were destroyed by ground attack aircraft a few minutes ago.
The attack from the flank comes immediately after a massive air strike by the crews of Su-25 attack aircraft.
“The marines of the Pacific Fleet are fighting to occupy the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and immediately organize defense,” the Russian Defense Ministry comments.
Earlier, the commander of the heavy sniper detachment of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet with the call sign “Yary” told the media that the entire defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine rests on barrage detachments of snipers who shoot Ukrainian servicemen who decided to lay down their arms. Otherwise, the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot keep Ukrainian soldiers at the forefront.
On the front line they send soldiers from among the unfired soldiers of the defense, who are often given the coordinates of positions that are already occupied by the Marines. Curious cases have been recorded when entire groups of Ukrainian servicemen were captured, because they thought they had come to their fortified area.
The officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine know that the special forces of Primorye not only have glorious traditions in the elimination of Bandera in the forests after the Great Patriotic War, but also have good experience in fighting terrorists in the North Caucasus and Syria already in this century.
In 2015, the Marines of the Pacific Fleet covered our VKS grouping in Syria. Now our army pilots are already covering the Marines during the assault on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Ugledar direction.
“Tweedledee and Tweedle-dumber”
Seems to be a lot of that going around.
I thought about attempting to count the amount of people who watched the video of the downing of the MQ-9 being sprayed with jet fuel, wherein said viewers then proceeded to claim “oh my! Russia did hit the propeller of that drone with their fighter jet! Look at the bent propeller!”
Yet it became immediately apparent that I would be counting hundreds of thousands, or possibly even millions of retarded people who believe that the SU-27 actually hit the drone.
So I dropped that idea.
The video does not show that the SU-27 hit the drone. Yet millions no-doubt believe it did show exactly that.
All the video shows is a bent propeller. nothing more.
Also, imagine if a fighter barely clipped a drone’s propeller at speed?
heh heh heh.
So either that video was edited, or the mere fact of the propeller hitting liquid instead of air is what bent it – or something similar. Such as small particles or other solid or liquid matter (or whatever) that caused the bend.
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber seems not to be a set of two people, yet rather a plague that infests the brains of those who seek safety under tyranny (which is yet another deeper level of retardation altogether)
Great writing sir. Wish I could do so well with even my personal writings.
So I wanted your readers to know that if the little sheep are figuring out that the beast with 7 heads and ten horns that rises out of the sea (chapter 13) only has one highly probable current contender for taking that position at todays date, and that the most prominent contender is indeed the G-7 nations, then it will be no great leap for them to figure out that the G-10 nations (of which there are 11, or so I am told) will contain the extra 3 crowns upon the 7 heads. Take out Switzerland from the G-10 since it is only a minor member and you have a pretty good sampling of highly possible contenders.
(yes dear readers, I know it may not be correct, I dont draw conclusions from as yet un-provable hypothesis, only possibilities)
So I will paste my 5 minute made messy notes that I jotted down this morning on the two beasts of Chapter 13 of the book of Revelation for others to consider (and point out relevant flaws in the possibilities if they so choose). —
Get the eye cleaner ready, my notes are unedited – Enjoy.
The First Beast – from the “sea”- 7 heads could possibly be the G-7 Nations of – U.S.A., United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan.
For the G-7 includes the United Kingdom, which is a “beast” (a government or empire) that “rise” (begins) out of the sea
Not sure who the ten crowns could be yet, except possibly the original 7, with 3 extra controllers, kings, NGO’s, or rulers or something.
The ten crowns could be indicative of 3 non G-7 nations (probably EU nations, since the E.U. is a non enumerated member of the G-7) siding with the “7 Horns” to spread degeneracy and destroy the world and humans.
One and probably the best explanation of the “ten Crowns” I have come up with so far is this –
Ten crowns could be the G-10 Nations minus Switzerland (since Switzerland is the 11th member of the G-10 and only plays a minor role).
The G-10 nations are the G-7 Nations plus Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland.
All of this and more I left unsaid, are merely considerations. So dont use the mere possibilities I consider from time to time for your dogma or beliefs.
For I have come to ZERO proven conclusions, no matter how convincing or incredulous the ideas may seem to be.
The Second Beast – is the one who comes up with the Mark of the Beast, and enforces the Mark of the Beast.
Possibilities of who the second beast is could be two BRICS members such as Russia and China or China and India (don’t scoff, I have seen stranger things happen) or any other combo of BRICS nations.
The United States is a contender with it’s two party political system that pretends to be against one another, Repubs vs Dems, When in reality the7y are one and the same team (the Uniparty of lies).
Yet that would negate the United States being the Whore who rides the beast (I think, yet maybe not, will look into it later). Which is pretty obviously a powerful argument. For only the United States fits the bill of the Whore who rides the beast.
Possibly an as of yet unknown player also – along with more possibilities left unsaid.

Switzerland is a de facto monarchy since it is ruledd by the Savoy House, who at their time rule over others…. Papal Orders, banks and financial organizations, like the BIS…..
Spain is also a monarchy, like they are The UK, The Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, and Denmark….
Banks exposed in Israel were warned by their central bank on getting their assests out before the collapse of the US and European banks….
The reorganization of the banking system is a previous step to the imposition of the Central Banks´CBDCs…the real “Mark of the Beast”….then, your deposits will not be guaranteed any more….neither will be your “freedoms”…..
Interesting. I know next to nothing about the various European Nations.
Thanks for that. Our indoctrination centers here are more interested in having kids march in lines and being submissive and obedient to intellectual blowhards, as opposed to learning of other cultures, histories, Nations and whatnot.
The EU seems to be a contender for the first “beast” (Empire) with 7 heads and 10 Horns.
Just throwing that out there in case anyone thinks I am letting Switzerland off the hook with my poorly scribbled notes.
the final goal of the propaganda spouted by the likes of austin and milley is becoming clearer by the day: the united states and/or NATO is going to enter into this war “to defend ukraine” by directly confronting russian troops: we are now probably mere weeks away from this happening.
direct western intervention would seem the logical next step in this conflict. this especially due to the fact that ukraine will inevitably lose if the collective west doesn`t directly enter into the fray. furthermore, western economies are currently imploding in slow motion: not only do the US/EU alliance have no exit strategy, but the rapidly approaching financial collapse will have to blamed on…russia! russia! russia!
in his washington press conference a few days ago, seymour hersh himself confirmed such fears, alluding to a US/NATO intervention being in its late stages of preparation. given the choice of austin/milley`s analysis or hersh`s well-sourced assessment, we can safely go with hersh, every time.
If so, then it is at the exact moment the U.S.A. declares war (or a special military operation) against a well armed peer Nation, that they find out just how their 70 plus years of psyops have affected the population of the U.S.A.
It will be glorious, gory, and sad at the same time. For all they had to do was realize they are insane with greed, lust, pride, etc… and seek help.
Instead many many more will die if what you say comes to pass. And then it will not be poor Ukrainian suckers who fell for the see eye ayyys depraved psyops dying, but a whole slew of NATO boys are going to perish from the get go. The rest of us not being far behind them if it goes global (and it would).
Those of us who shouted warnings since the 70’s when we figured out our Congress had our boys and other nations citizens murdered for profits will probably feel the worst for the sorriest of the suckers too (our neighbors who brazenly supported this wickedness with their time, work, money, and striving).
Yeppers, I will feel the worst for those poor fools in the middle and upper class who “ra ra’ ed” our wicked leaders continuously as those very same leaders Lucy’ed the football out from under their Charlie Brown feet every 2, 4, and 6 years at the polls for as long as I have lived.
These are retards who could not see past their own selfishness in wanting security at the cost of freedom even when they had people telling them what was really going on (that they scoffed at, made fun of, and laughed at). And their are millions upon millions of them.
I am going to feel this bad for them
*holds up the tiny 2 finger violin and plays it gently *
It is a sign of courage and intelligence to contradict publicly the ruling leaders. And it is also clear that the western society has reached a level of decadence, that makes them unable to see when they are lied to, because all they want is fun and food, and this they still get.
But: The west is not completely rotten. It still can send reconnaissance data to the Ukrainian army, still support the Ukrainian society so much that there is food, electricity and a working internet.
Therefore, the difficult task is to find out how this unbalanced war will continue.
Why is Russia not switching off US satellites? Are they afraid of countermeasures? Are they afraid of the NATO? Or are they just nice to the poor western people who are fooled by their stupid leadership?
How will this war end? Ok, nobody knows it. But do the leaders know more, and just don’t tell? Is it just a repetition of the WW2, where the Germans strongly had to believe after Stalingrad, that the Fuehrer will, because he is such a great leader, finally find a way to win the war?
Off topic, but a hint to Larry: Christine lagarde was interviewed by russian pranksters who claimed to be Selinsky. Please analyse this false interview. To me it shows the lack of fantasy with Mrs Lagarde….
So just curious, if the Russians performed an unsafe maneuver against an unmanned aircraft, who exactly his it not safe for? This is your woke, ‘can’t get my feelings hurt’ new military.

Actually, this is just well crafted propaganda. Take what people are saying about Ukraine, flip it to Russia and repeat is louder and longer using your dominant media presence. Then, if anyone brings up the lie, you accuse them of doing what you did.
Also, the tie to North Korea and Iran is brilliant. People already had the villainy of these two nations pounded into their heads for the past 40 years. Thus, its guilt by association. All the roque, bad actors are sticking together. It provides a perfect way to cement in people’s mind that Putin is Hitler!
I like to bring an observation on the video of the SU-27 hitting a drone.. The video shows the propeller with an SU-27 coming to it than goes blank it seems before the plane supposedly hits the propeller. Than you see the propeller bent. The propeller if it has been hit as shown on the video I have a problem, because the propeller seems it been bent out worldly. The plane hit it by behind so the propeller should of bent in worldly. I am not an expert on this just my visual understanding. The next issue is how did the camera go off just before the plane hits the propeller it seems and back on a few seconds after. Maybe I am missing something.
Yes, if you look closely you’ll see the Russian pilot open his canopy and throw a bola.

Nothing but total BS PR talk to deflect from the obvious reality. They just got bitch-slapped around Crimea and now they have to make up for it. As long as the reality on the ground is in favor of Russia, I guess they couldn’t care less what the other side has to say.
Ukraine will lose Artemovsk soon and for a very high price. If they had any brains and decency for their infantry, they would retreat from the city, like Russia did on Kherson. Wasting their men for spite is the dumbest move they could do. But it plays perfectly into Russian strategy to destroy as many military forces as they get.
Jack Shitlord says
It’s St. Patrick Day. Many of you know or remember the Irish folk song, “The Kerry Recruit” It’s about an Irish mercenary sent by England to fight in the Crimean War. The recruit ultimately ends up getting severally wounded, partially blinded & crippled in the conflict. Years later, he tells the story to family & friends. The last line says it all.
“Yes, we Irish fight well, but Russian artillery is hotter than hell”
P.S. Yes, the FU$A is being run by a bunch of dipshits. Actually, really nothing new for Old Jack, it’s been that way for the past 60 years. Let’s start with Vietnam & this time work our way up to the present.
But, but the EU says that someday very soon it will be able to produce and supply 1 million artillery shells to Ukraine every year. Of course that’s <2,750 shells per day … less than half of what Ukraine is using on a self-described starvation diet. The US may be able to reach 50,000/month sometime in the next year if everything goes right. So if all of that production is sent to ukraine the daily ration can reach 4,420. Or still less than its current burn rate.
So if Austin, Milley and Biden can just hang on a little longer things will get worse. It’s a brilliant plan that will obviously succeed because it has to.

First, what is of utmost importance to understand is how all of these politicians and spokespeople like Austin, Milley, Nuland, Kirby, Mr. Potato Head, Schiff, Clapper, Comey, Pelosi, Schumer, Psaki, Yellen, Mr. Potato Head, etc., AS WELL AS the MSM “legally” get away with all of their lies. They get away with them because of legislation that was passed a few years ago that allowed the US government to legally propagandize (lie to) American citizens within the US and, not only that, literally pay the MSM to also do it. It was called the “Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012”. Do yourself a very big favor and read it.
Second, occasionally Mr. Potato Head and Vickie tell the truth. When they both, at different times, said that if Russia invaded “Ukraine”, Nordstream would be stopped. That was the truth. When else has MPH told the truth? When he said “Look, um…You have two options: start a third world war – go to war with Russia, physically, or two: make sure that a country that acts so contrary to international law ends up paying a price for having done it.”
3 minutes and 55 seconds into the following interview of MPH:
And slightly less accurately reported (not exact quote) in Tass.
So all options are on the table actually consists of only 2 options — Russia pays a high price or WWIII. But but just exactly WHOM is MPH threatening – Russia or the US’s very own vassals (to do exactly what they’re ordered to do, or else the US will start WWIII)? IMO, so far, it’s the latter.
What if option 2 doesn’t make Russia “pay a price”?! Option 1, of course.
It is quite apparent to anyone with two eyes and two ears that Russia has not paid a high enough price for its actions. It’s economy is doing well, etc., while the price that the US and its vassal states, including Ukraine (AKA “America East”) have paid is astronomical and only getting higher.
In actual fact, Option 1, WWIII, has already started. The US/NATO/EU are now attacking Russia on the part of the planet called Ukraine. So far, there is apparently an unspoken agreement that the warring parties will, for the most part, confine WWIII to that part of the planet, but those borders are starting to be stressed and the weaponry increased in lethality.
At the same time, the populations of the Western nations are 24/7 being subjected to a barrage of propaganda artillery fire (again, made perfectly legal by the aforementioned Act).
I’ll close by asking a question. Has there ever been a major war, or a World War, in which the most powerful weapons that scientists could provide were NOT used in battle to defeat enemies? (Remember, MPH spoke the naked truth in that interview.)
Great comment👏. Did not know about that act. Was it a Bush or Obama idea?
Today there seem to be some escapees from The Hill’s now defunct comment section. Curtesy is better than insults.
I’m 68, brought up in England. My father, born 1919 , told me when war broke out in 1939,he simply could not believe the stupidity after what his father had told him about the horror of WW1. Now, a generation later, here we go again. I can’t believe these criminal morons.

According to SECDEF Austin & GEN Milley in the video, Russia running out of equipment, ammo, soldiers and has to rely on Iran & N. Korea for support. Ukraine has made Russia fight a war of attrition. So how can Russian military overrun NATO & US? DOD needs to declare victory!💩🤡

International Criminal Court issues arrest warrant for Putin over alleged Ukraine war crimes
The court said Friday that the Russian leader is responsible for overseeing the forced deportation of children. The Kremlin has previously denied the accusation.
The U.S. does not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court
“…if the United States does end up supporting the ICC’s investigation of Russia, which I hope and ultimately think that the Biden administration will, we will certainly open ourself up to some charges of hypocrisy because of these traditional concerns that the U.S. has had about the ICC’s investigation of the United States. But there is a difference.”
No hypocrisy here. Move along.

Look at Austin. Seems to me that it looks like he’s been partying with Hunter Biden.

the “rules based international order” is super awesome, especially when you can make and change the rules!
The definition of being an adult is not just a factor of age but the ability to grasp that the world is more complex than black and white and to take responsibility and ownership of matters that are difficult or uncomfortable.
This relies on the development of discipline, duty, structure and awareness. For the religious this is the maturity to work to implement Gods guidance on truth, goodness, service and worship because that purity of theology is the ultimate rules based order but it is not enforced at the barrel of the gun. It’s just a hard path, you walk as best you can because it’s actually going somewhere so stay on it.
The comments of Miley and Austin are not surprising. Nor is their lack of integrity. They are of a class that makes a god if a system and has no regard for the truth og God. Their purpose is narrow. Their masters earth born.
The myth of America has had one powerful effect. That is to elevate it to almost a religion that is supreme above all others that must be maintained at all costs and that even though flawed is better than others and a saviour of the world.
If you thought you lived in Heaven in Earth then how much would you fight and lie and cheat to protect such a sacred place.
Once this is internalised the world is no longer seen through objective morality but subjective paradigms. In which American supremacy is a good thing that must be maintained.
Austin and Miley fear a loss of American supremacy. They believe the way to address this is by the containment, control and imperial power of America over others. They see that as a good and necessary thing to maintain Eden. They are not smart enough to understand that multipolarity may benefit them too.
It also buys time. The US is making advances space in hypersonics. Their navy second to none.
And in a sense they are right. None of this is free or easy for Russia, nor is it cheap. They are hurting both Russia, China and others right now and the world fears Americas ugly power even as it struggles to break free. Shackles are tight and everywhere.
Do not underestimate the power play America has made and how well it has worked economically and geopolitically.
The only risk is that things now move out if their control. That risk is beginning to rise. For two reasons. Large sections of the world genuinely fear and hate American in particular and the West in general. Second, the wide sanctions and actions against Russia have created anger, poverty and food shortages and taken the mask of the face of the beast in all it’s raw ugliness.
Julius Mulema is a black nationalist south African. What he says here captures how much of Africa sees America v Russia who are seen as a friend and an entirely different prospect. Note South Africa seriously considered sending troops to help Russia.
The resentment again America and the West is building as Russia and Chinas humiliations are the humiliations of everyone outside of the West. So it is felt not just heard. The West does not understand people stopped buying the coolaid a while ago. Now they are just wait for the chance to strike back.
This is also personal for Miley and Austin who are no doubt up to their piglet faces in strategy in Ukraine. All US generals are. So if you own the strategy you don’t want to look like the f up.

It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice. It merely required no character.”

As Mattie Walker (Kathleen Turner) said to the seedy, small town lawyer Ned Racine (William Hurt) as she seduces him into murdering her husband in the film noir Body Heat:
“You’re not too smart, are you? I like that in a man.”
So it is with Austin and Milley and all the other non-entities occupying the West’s most powerful political positions. They’re there because they were deemed “not too smart”, and ultra-vulnerable not only to being seduced by the charms of flattery, corruption and the trappings of state power, but also to manipulation by those whose agenda and power they are but vaguely aware of.
In the end, Ned Racine is languishing in jail when he figures out how he’d been duped. One wonders if some of the West’s non-entities ever even suspect it, much less figure it out.
Are you trying to summon Lindsey Graham with the Judy Garland reference?
Well done, as a South Carolinian, I lol’d. Can’t wait to see Graham onstage again with the guy that says he’s gonna drain the swamp & go after the RINOs. We were at the rally on 1/28 in Columbia SC when he made that comment and I nearly spit water everywhere when he said that while being flanked by Graham & Joe Wilson.
