Donald Trump is behaving like some drugged-out teenage girl with his social media posts. Trump— the wannabe “Art of the Deal” emperor — is panic‑posting the world to the threshold of nuclear war and taking other actions that Russia can only view as the US preparing to attack the motherland.
The latest escalation started with this tantrum by Trump:

Medvedev, who is an Olympic-class troller, punched back with this warning:
About Trump’s threats against me on his personal network Truth, which he banned from operating in our country
If some words of the former president of Russia cause such a nervous reaction from such a formidable US president, it means Russia is right in everything and will continue on its own path.
And about the “dead economy” of India and Russia and the “entering dangerous territory” – well, let him remember his favorite movies about “the walking dead,” as well as how dangerous the non-existent in nature “dead hand” can be.
Trump, in a continuing display of ignorance, apparently took this as a Russian threat to launch a preemptive attack on the United States. The Russian “Dead Hand,” also known as the “Perimeter” system, is an automatic or semi-automatic nuclear command and control system developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War and is reportedly still operational today. Its purpose is to guarantee a retaliatory nuclear strike against an enemy even if Russia’s leadership and command structure are destroyed in a decapitating attack. Medvedev was simply warning Trump that a decapitation strike on Moscow would still produce a retaliatory strike on the United States.
Instead of keeping his mouth shut, Trump bombastically huffed and puffed, like an impotent Big Bad Wolf, and announced that two nuclear submarines were heading toward Russia, just because Dmitry Medvedev roasted him online.
I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that.
— Donald J. Trump
We do not know if this means that Trump has dispatched two additional submarines to reinforce the ones already in the Atlantic and the Pacific. But simply making this announcement represents a threat that Russia must take seriously.
But this is not the first escalation on the nuclear front. During the last two weeks, there have been two actions — both presumably endorsed by or carried out per a presidential order — that have pushed the Doomsday clock closer to midnight. The first was a speech to NATO by General Christopher Donahue, the current head of US European Command. The second was the US reversing its policy on nuclear weapons in Europe.
DONAHUE:
During the mid-July 2025 during the Association of the US Army conference in Germany, General Christopher Donahue stated that NATO and US allied forces now have the capability to “neutralize” or “take down” the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad from the ground in an unprecedented and much faster timeframe than previously possible. He described Kaliningrad as being about 47 miles wide and surrounded on all sides by NATO countries, making it vulnerable to ground operations. This statement was made in the context of NATO’s “Eastern Flank Deterrence Line” plan, which aims to bolster ground-based military capabilities and readiness in the Baltic region.
Donahue emphasized the importance of the land domain in modern warfare and NATO’s enhanced ability to counter Russia’s “mass and momentum problem” using new capabilities developed based on lessons from the conflict in Ukraine. However, he did not provide specific operational details of how this capability would be executed.
Donahue’s ill-advised remarks ignited a furious reaction among politicians and citizens in Russia. Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Russian State Duma’s International Affairs Committee, warned that an assault on Kaliningrad would be considered an attack on Russia itself, triggering all necessary retaliatory measures under Russia’s nuclear doctrine. The Russian side views Kaliningrad as strategically vital and any NATO attack on it as a major escalation possibly provoking nuclear response.
Words are one thing, but actions speak louder than words, and Trump authorized an action that leaves the Russians with no alternative but to conclude that the United States is preparing to attack Russia… He ordered sending nuclear weapons to Europe.
B61-12 Gravity Bombs:
Throughout the 1990s, the US closed or consolidated many bases. Weapons were withdrawn from some national bases and concentrated at fewer main air bases rather than fully returned to the US. For example, bombs were moved from minor bases in Germany, Italy, and Turkey to Ramstein, Ghedi Torre, and Incirlik, respectively.
All US nuclear weapons were withdrawn from Greece in the early 2000s, and the last bombs were removed from the UK’s RAF Lakenheath around 2007, ending more than 50 years of US nuclear presence there.
Now, in a major reversal, the United States has deployed the B61-12 gravity bombs to Europe. Deployment locations for B61-12 gravity bombs in 2025:
• RAF Lakenheath (United Kingdom): The B61-12 returned to the UK for the first time since 2008, with confirmed deliveries to RAF Lakenheath in July 2025.
• Kleine Brogel Air Base (Belgium)
• Büchel Air Base (Germany)
• Aviano and Ghedi Air Bases (Italy)
• Volkel Air Base (Netherlands)
• Incirlik Air Base (Turkey)
These bombs are now distributed across these six main bases in five NATO countries, with around 100–150 US B61-12 bombs forward deployed in total. The deployment to RAF Lakenheath in the UK represents a significant strategic signal, as it marks the first return of US tactical nuclear weapons to British soil in over 15 years.
What do you think Russia is doing? Sitting on its ass and ignoring these provocations? Or taking the necessary preparations to eliminate these threats if things heat up? I am betting on the latter course of action.
Trump’s announcement about the submarines had not been made when Colonel Wilkerson and I chatted with Nima this morning. I think I won the shirt competition. We discussed a range of issues, but agreed on one thing… Trump’s foreign policy is a mess:
Ray and I had a chance to react to Trump’s submarine decision during our weekly chat with Judge Napolitano:
I thank you for your invaluable support by taking time to read or comment. I do not charge a subscription fee nor do I accept advertising. I want the content to be accessible to everyone interested in the issues I am discussing. However, if you wish to make a donation, please see this link.

I agree with one thing that the President said: “words are very important” And I would add that “words have meaning”. This is something that US diplomats, Congressmen, Senators, Secretaries of State and Presidents need to learn. We have almost never never stood by our promises and our commitments, to the Russians or the rest of the world, for that matter.
Trump was elected on promises of “stopping the war on the first day”, among others. He has failed miserably where Ukraine and Russia are concerned. This promise turned out to be mostly hollow. Trump’s approach has been haphazard, chaotic and inconsistent in execution. Those “words” from Mr. Trump during the campaign were “important” to a majority of voters, but they also carried no weight and no meaning. Words that have no meaning or sincerity are lies.
Making America Great does not require the US Government or US Politicians to lie, bully, threaten or intimidate other nations or the US public. We DO NOT make this country “great” by bringing down others, we make it great by raising the standards to which we hold ourselves. High Standards for the US allow us to then demand the same from others. So far, our standards do not appear to be very high.
I don’t know if I should, but I hope Russia destroys any newly deployed nuclear submarines.
Would someone please describe in layman’s terms what the effect of that might be?
The US and Russia have nuclear subs patrolling all of the oceans 24/7. Nothing new here except for the fact, Tel Aviv Don inadvertently publicly announced the whereabouts of the subs. We all know they are there but to announce the locations is treasonous. The Russians know exactly where they all are and are being monitored. The same applies to the US. Russia will not take any actions but if they did, the US sub would be sunk in a very obscure manner. “It was a collision with something”? Not to worry though. Russia has one sub off the western coast of the US. It carries 10 nuclear missiles, each with 10 war heads. That means this sub will deliver 100 nuclear missiles into the US turning the US into molten glass.
I assume that, if Russia could detect the submarines, it would do nothing, keeping the technology used secret.
Uh-oh…🤣🤣🤣

The US and its vassal states are undergoing systemic failure. I think that an article published August 1, 2025 on the WSWS describes this failure pretty well in the least number of words possible.

The militarist agenda at the centre of Trump’s tariff war against the world
Nick Beams
The executive order issued by US President Trump on Thursday evening, imposing sweeping tariffs on virtually every trading partner of the US, is a milestone in the decay and breakdown of American and global capitalism.
The US has now created a tariff wall around itself equivalent to that imposed, with disastrous consequences both economically and politically, during the Great Depression of the 1930s, and which played a decisive role in creating the conditions for the eruption of World War II, the greatest bloodbath in human history.
The consequences of Trump’s economic war against the world will be no less significant. It will bring about a rapid descent into intense economic conflict leading inexorably to the eruption of war.
In fact, the situation is potentially even more serious than that which prevailed in the 1930s. At that time, international trade largely comprised the export and import of raw materials and finished goods. Manufacturing production was largely carried out within national borders.
Today, there is no commodity of which it can be said that it was produced in a particular country. Every single good, from the simplest to the most complex, is produced on a global scale. The world has become an integrated economic organism, and the working class has become likewise objectively integrated and unified.
But this development, the globalization of production and the development of complex supply chains which crisscross countries and continents, has raised to a new peak of intensity a central contradiction of the world capitalist order – that between the global economy and the division of the world into rival national states and imperialist powers.
Trump’s measures signify the total destruction of the post-war trading order put in place after the disasters of the 1930s and World War II, which sought to contain it. As one administration official put it: “This is a new system of trade.”
It is surely that. The full significance of Trump’s measures can only be grasped and understood when they are placed in their historical context.
The post-war trading order was based on the lowering of tariff measures and the removal of restrictions. These mechanisms were not only aimed at promoting economic growth, but they also had a profound geopolitical content. They were based on an understanding, drawn from the experience of the 1930s, that a world economic order in which every country sought to protect and advance its national interests through tariffs and other restrictive measures led inexorably to military conflict.
The post-war system was grounded on the economic dominance of US capitalism, which used its vast industrial capacity to reconstruct the world market on which it had become vitally dependent. But pax Americana contained an irresolvable contradiction.
The very revival and then expansion of the world economy steadily undermined the dominance of the United States. This quantitative decline, extending over decades, has now led to a qualitative turning point in which the US not only confronts old rivals in the form of Europe and Japan, but new ones such as China.
The economic warfare initiated by Trump is not simply the product of his fevered brain or those of his fascistic advisors.
His actions are the expression of an existential crisis confronting US imperialism which was developing long before he appeared on the scene.
It is exemplified in the transformation of the US from the industrial powerhouse of the world into the center of financial parasitism revealed in a series of storms and crises – extending from the stock market collapse of October 1987, to the tech-wreck of 2000-2001, the 2008 financial crash, and the freezing of the Treasury bond market in March 2020 at the start of the pandemic.
US imperialism has no economic program to resolve this crisis, neither by tariffs nor any other measures, but is driven to the use of mechanical means.
The militarist character of Trump’s tariff war against the world is apparent throughout the executive order.
It refers to the impact of the so-called lack of reciprocity by foreign trading partners on “the domestic manufacturing base, critical supply chains, and the defense manufacturing base.”
Throughout the order, there are references to the need for all countries which seek to trade with the US to align with it on “economic and national security matters.” In other words, they must become fully integrated with the drive by the US to maintain its position as the dominant imperialist power, above all in the battle against China, or they will be hammered economically.
In the case of India, for example, Trump railed against the Modi government for “buying Russian oil and weapons.”
The 50 percent tariff imposed on Brazil reveals most clearly the underlying agenda. It has been hit with a 50 percent tariff despite the fact that it is one of the few countries with which the US has a trade surplus.
But it is in Trump’s crosshairs because of the court action against his fascist ally Jair Bolsonaro over his attempted coup and because Brazil is one of the most prominent members of the BRICS group of countries seeking to find alternative means of international finance outside the dollar system.
As Trump has said on a number of occasions, losing dollar supremacy – vital for the capacity of the US to continue to run up massive debts – would be the equivalent to losing a war.
Almost a century ago, Leon Trotsky explained that the dominance of US imperialism would be expressed most openly and violently not in a period of boom, but in one of crisis.
And that prescient warning has come to pass. It is exemplified in the character of the so-called deals which are not the outcome of negotiations, but are the product of the diktat laid down by Trump with which other countries must comply or be hit by crippling sanctions.
This was seen most clearly in the “deal” struck with the European Union, which capitulated to Trump’s demands under the threat of the imposition of tariffs which would have had the effect of cutting it off completely from American markets.
The EU backed down in the face of an all-out trade war for which it is not yet prepared. But the capitulation was met with denunciation, typified by the remarks of the French prime minister Francois Bayrou that the bloc had “resigned itself into submission.”
Despite the claim by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen that the “deal” had brought certainty, the European ruling classes know that the rampage has only just begun and that the agenda of US imperialism is to render them totally subservient. Japan is likewise targeted. The rivals to US imperialism cannot and will not accept a program under which they are continually ground into the dust.
Thus, the seeds of a new inter-imperialist war have not only been planted, they are starting to germinate.
In the course of the 20th century, German imperialism twice went to war against the US, and Japan engaged in a bloody conflict in World War II for dominance of the Asia-Pacific. These contradictions were suppressed and contained during the post-war era, but its foundations have now been shattered, and they are set to erupt to the surface once again as they did in the 1930s.
But there is a vital difference between that period and the present situation which must be grasped by the working class as it confronts the enormous dangers now confronting it.
In the 1930s, the working class had suffered enormous defeats, above all due to the coming to power of the Nazis in Germany. But today, the working class is not defeated or demoralized. There is a growing movement to the left around the world, a deepening anti-capitalist sentiment, and a turn towards a socialist solution, above all among the youth.
The crucial task is the arming of this movement with a clear perspective. It must be grounded on the understanding that the crisis does not arise from the proclivities of Trump, but from the historical bankruptcy of the entire capitalist order and its nation-state system.
It can, therefore, only be resolved through the fight for an internationalist perspective based on the unification of the working class in the political struggle for a socialist program, the watchword of which is “the main enemy is at home.”
Immediately for the American working class, that means the fight against the nationalist agenda promoted by Trump. For all his claims that his tariff wars will make America great again and lift up workers, the objective economic facts of life speak otherwise. Tariffs raise the cost structure of US industry, which employers are driven to try to overcome by massive attacks on jobs and working conditions in order to maintain their profits.
Likewise, workers around the world must reject and fight against the perspective of their “own” ruling classes that the way forward against the economic warfare launched by US imperialism is the advancement of a nationalist program. This is the road to disaster.
The perspective of world socialist revolution advanced solely by the International Committee of the Fourth International, the world Trotskyist movement, is not some utopian objective. As the death agony of capitalism, exemplified by Trump’s war, enters a new and even more dangerous stage, it is the only viable and realistic program of the day. The crucial task is to build the necessary leadership to fight for it.
The 1930’s depression was bank driven not tarrifs. The amount of foreign transactions was much lower than today. I stopped reading right there, you built that magnificent long-winded argument on a foundation of sand. It is like discussing the Civil War and thinking it was about slavery.
“Trump bombastically huffed and puffed, like an impotent Big Bad Wolf,” more like a fat stuck squealing pig.
and I can still hear people saying that Kamala was going to get us into WW3:) and no I didn’t vote for the dumb bitch (either dumb bitch).
Trump is a pathological liar, and apparently unable to discern between reality and fiction. He is a danger to the people of the US, and the entire world. He is a supporter of genocide, and a war criminal that is supporting the terrorist state of Israel. He needs to be impeached immediately.
and where are all the Impeachers in Congress now??? what a worthless lot. all of them.
Congress should be hanged by the people in their districts when they return to their States, and do not have the Capitol Police to protect them…..
He better take the right steps now because that sentiment is growing by the day. What the heck is he waiting for? Stop the genocide, stop the Ukraine war. He can do it immediately if he wants. Ask yourself why he doesn’t. Who is controlling him? He can’t wiggle himself out of this one, the buck stops with him now. He can claim it’s Biden War all day long but it doesn’t change anything. He can say Hamas this and Hamas that all he wants but the whole world can see how he is supporting a genocide by starvation. It’s so disgusting to witness this weak and lying man telling the world he deserves the Nobel peace price for claiming (falsely) how he’s stopped all kinds of wars.
That would suit Comey, Brennan, and the cabal in London.
I’m not interested in what does or doesn’t suit Comey, Brennan &/or the cabal. I’m interesting in doing what’s right & not doing what’s wrong.
Starving 2 million people to death to steal their land is wrong. Period. Eos.
“I’m interesting in doing what’s right & not doing what’s wrong.”
Then why argue with bonobo? He always scales down Israel’s crimes to infinity, and correspondingly scales up everyone else’s peccadillos to infinity.
It’s disgusting, but it keeps him smug.
Russiagate set two nuclear powers at their throats, and you can’t be wronger than that.
100 million in 1 hour – nobody to say where Gaza even was.
Again, Stop tweeting and INDICT them.
Would you like your mac-indictments with coleslaw and a dip?
Relish is fine.
🍔
Vyshinsky trained Gorbachov, and orchestrated all of Stalin’ s Moscow show-trials concluding all his summations to the court with the same phrase, “Shoot the mad dogs !”
And he said that also – the American version is “A prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich”.
If you haven’t seen it I suggest you watch Judge Napolitano’s talk with Scott Ritter.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdvV2ppoC5A
Your article further expands upon what was said to Judge Nap yesterday which I linked to in my comments regarding “What “Rooting Out the Causes of the Crisis” Entails” that looks into the chat and presser Putin and Lukashenko had at Valaam yesterday and speculates on its symbolism and more. Media didn’t do a very deep insightful look into what was talked about, which actually has grave importance and is thus unfortunate.
FFS, people! Most of you are posting inane personal attacks on Trump as if Trump’s personality is the problem. Look a little deeper. Trump lacks institutional power. He’s using the hell out of what little he has- Look at Gabbard’s info drop on Hillary and Barrack.Look at his latest judicial appt. Look at the pattern of SCOTUS rulings. He does not actually CONTROL the Pentagon, the CIA, the FBI or Homeland, and they act against him, sometimes quite openly. So, he uses a lot of fancy footwork, clowns to get attention, but he’s doing a combination of journalism- which the journalists have failed to do- and propaganda, to get people in the west to see the real nature of the governments, including his, that rule them. But you fools blame him for showing you what you should have already known– the PTB has ALWAYS wanted war, they have always wanted the destruction of Russia and China, and control over everything so they can exploit the entire world for their own narrow profit, whatever the cost to mankind.
Trump, btw, might be some form of psychopath, but he’s not a narcissist. He obviously has no ego investment in his image. Everything he says and does is for political effect, regardless of reputational damage. This gives him a lot of power in a system that thrives on hiding its hypocrisy. It’s also pretty much his only power.
He’s not a narcissist? Are we talking about the same Trump? You know, the guy who stopped a war every month since he’s been in office; who believes he was sent by god to save the US from the demon Dems; and who jumps to a nuclear response when someone “mean tweets” him? That guy is not a narcissist? LMFAO!
Well, in addition to his obvious narcissistic character, Trump is showing every sign of age related dementia/senility. Could be a deadly combination.
Narcissist lie to make themselves look good and feel better. Trump lies when he alligns with his enemies to make them look bad- and of course that taints him as well, but he doesn’t care. Look at the pattern, it’s not random.
+1
The 5d chess Trumpers are having a hard time now.
I guess I never got the memo that the Presidency of the United States lacks institutional power. Do you even hear yourself?
Never heard of Separation of Powers?
By design.
The Senate voted this week to continue arms for Israel.
Could Trump revoke the Treaty with Israel that Congress signed off decades ago?
The Pentagon likes to surface boomers for selfies – it is business as usual.
Obama’s AUMF breaks that separation deliberately.
lol
Never heard of it since I live in a communist state called Sweden where we never vote and our king dictates our lives completely.
Look, Trump put out a video about Gaza where he is laying on the beach sipping cocktails with Bibi and where golden statues of himself with Trump resorts and casinos stand where people right now ARE BEING STARVED TO DEATH IF NOT SHOT ON SIGHT.
FFS get your head out of your hole.
And what does His Highness say about Israel?
A pariah state that wages war on everyone and commits genocide not to mention controls the US completely by bribing/extorts it with donated funds.
Do you understand the fucking Constitution of the United States? It’s all about ‘checks and balances,’ precisely to thwart ‘rogue’ presidents like Trump. And the same narrow class of people control all the other branches of government, and all the top positions of the permanent state. You’re a foreigner, you can’t be expected to understand that, but Americans should. The US Constitution is the institutional expression of the Class Dictatorship of the capitalist class.
Trump adheres to a different sub-class of capitalism than the financiers that have achieved dominance over the whole system. That’s why they fight him, tooth and nail- he wants to get the banksters off the backs of the big industrial capitalists. You can argue about whether this is possible, or desirable, but that’s what he’s all about. Whatever he gets done is AGAINST THE WISHES of the people who currently control the mechanisms of power.
Its just a piece of paper. Damn paper. You must have missed most of the 20th century when it was sold to the highest bidder.
When was the last time the constitution was taken into consideration by the PTB. Hell, they began nibbling at the edges from the very start, and then Lincoln literally gutted it. We are a constitutional republic in name only.
What constitution ?
Doesn’t seem to matter that much any more.
That quaint piece of paper that has been studiously shredded & shat on for a good 25 years. Probably longer, but less visibly.
Separation of powers ended when Israel bought off or compromised pretty much everyone who decides anything.
Trump has been steeping in New Yawk Jewz forever. They are his people.
It was called the minar carta or magna constrictor – so it was not confused with the magna carta, I’m told.
Too much Marx lurking there :
This is the US :
You’re grasping and I hope you realize that what you’re saying here is that ‘checks and balances’ is a problem for Trump.
Absolutely, because whatever else he is, Trump is fundamentally anti-system. That’s the part you don’t seem to grasp. The system is designed to empower his class enemies, and he knows it, and he doesn’t care- but he sees practical problems with overreaching (like he doesn’t own an army) and practical benefits from an aggressive application of ‘legalism.’ He’s undermining the power structure one Supreme Court ruling at a time, while staying within the legal structure (which, btw, has been massively subverted away from constitutional principles long before Trump came along. He’s subverting it in a different direction, that’s all.)
I see, so he is presiding over a system that he wants to take down because of what exactly? It’s too transparent and open? Is that why he fails to release files he promised to do?
Honestly, how do you even reason?
I’ve explained it a dozen times, moron. He’s pro-industrial capitalist (American) and anti-international banker. The banksters own the system and they feed off globalism, which requires global trade. To re-industrialize the US requires captive markets, and forced investment in otherwise non-competitive capital development. That’s what tariffs are ALWAYS for. You are the one that is not reasoning, you’re not even listening.
“To re-industrialize the US requires captive markets, and forced investment”
You can’t force investment.
The uncertain market Trump is creating with his crazy on again/off again/on again tariffs is killing investment.
I don’t listen to foolish nonsense. Trump could have ended the Ukraine war – HE DIDN’T. Trump could stop the genocide in Gaza – HE ISN’T. Trump could release all material wrt Epstein – HE DOESN’T.
YOU are the one that is being hoodwinked with all this 5d chess ridiculous theater. Trump is threatening countries all over the planet and IS NOT doing what he campaigned on doing. He is owned by the zionists and Israel, any fool can see that now.
White hat strategy this and white hat strategy that. Tell me this – how many more years of death and suffering is going to continue before Trump actually takes down the evil Deep State?
Interesting early amnesia onset there – Russiagate.
That is the bombshell.
Gabbert has exposed the cabal, and Patel found much more.
Russiagate always was British.
That little detail goes right by the Royal Houses….
Fine then let’s see the indictments. Gabbard is not in charge of that Pam Bondi is so what is keeping her from issuing them?
Kremlin SVR knows full well the British Game with the EU and eurofascism. Need I post the image again?
Drama queen….
I suggest you read this, Mr. Johnson
Unless you know a lot more than you pretend to know (which is also a lot) Alex Krainer has a much better handle on the world scene.
https://trendcompass.substack.com/p/the-education-of-donald-trump
Very interesting view from a Green Beret.
I know that Trump’s rhetoric here, and elsewhere, can be scary, but I believe that it’s designed to scare the American people and the so-called ‘allies’ of the US. The latter understand Medvedev and Perimeter quite well. They are willing to bluster and bluff, but that’s all. Trump, having bombed Iran, is less predictable, but there’s a consistent pattern of outcomes to his words/deeds: the weakness of the US Empire is exposed, the warmongering scares Americans to pull back from actions they cheered on in previous decades. They feel the threat is real, and that the US/Trump are the cause. It’s very educational.
Look back at Trump vs Kim in his first term. Scared the pants off the neocon/neoliberal establishment, almost got a peace deal with DPRK, but was torpedoed at the last moment by his own neocon appointments, who were people he didn’t know that were foisted on him by the Senate. This term, his attacks on Yemen and Iran, while immoral and vile, have shown the limits of US/Israeli power. Israel is in sharp decline, and the US is in no position to do much about it. The ME is likely to get a ‘soft landing’ instead of a blood bath, but the people of Gaza are paying a tremendous price for this. Even so, there’s a lot less blood than if Israel were to be brought down by direct military action- which we now know is quite possible. A lot of that blood would be of others in the region, not Israelis.
So, if Trump triggers a nuclear war, you can say ‘I told you so,’ but I think this might actually be the predicate to at least pushing the second-hand and the Doom Clock back a little bit. It’s like being in a confrontation that could lead to blows, and you posture by crushing an empty beer can in your fist. Then the other guy crushes a full, unopened one in his fist, and all the people who were egging you on shut the fuck up.
Mucho cool, carnal, I mean the part about squeezing the full beer can with your fist. That would be a Russian brew, I suppose?
“This term, his attacks on Yemen and Iran, while immoral and vile, have shown the limits of US/Israeli power.”
So, you think that Trump attacked Yemen and Iran to show the limits of US power? Do you really believe that?
Isn’t it more logical to assume that Trump believes in the Bigness of American power and was surprised by its failure in Yemen and Iran (for now)?
Well Gil Doctorow is convinced that Trump is planning to go to Beijing for the WW2 Japan day event with Xi and Putin and shut the whole Empire thing down.
It is possible, but we shall see.
Missed that. Link?
Was it Nima or Glenn Diesen? Can’t remember. probably the latter. Anyway it’s on Youtube and is worth a look. Of course he’s just one of many analytsts saying different things, but he’s on the Trump 5d chessmaster side rather than the Chump the Dunce camp.
Xi invited both Putin and Trump to the September 3 World War II parade.
https://www.thetimes.com/world/asia/article/trump-putin-xi-jinping-china-wjlv3550k
I doubt it will be anything that dramatic or obvious, but I do think he wants to get what he always wanted- a ‘spheres of influence’ agreement, even a tacit one, that allows the US to step back from globalism and reindustrialize before globalism collapses the whole system. A lot of what he’s doing right now is making it clear to the world what the consequences of a massive crisis within the US could be for the entire world. The Chinese and the Russians already get this, they’ve been trying to engineer a soft-landing for a long time, and I think Trump wants to make it clear that that’s what he wants to, not the continuation of Empire. BUT he has a government and economic system currently dominated by greedheads dependent on globalism and their insane, psychopathic minions. So, let’s make a deal so I can keep them on the leash until I can get rid of them, okay?
Aha, looks good at first glance. The problem is that even if all three of the most powerful nations’ leaders on earth share the same outlook for what is necessary to avoid, there are many spanners in the works ready for flight. The oligarchs own the Deep State, and together, they will want a war, regardless of who gets killed. The targeted personnel would be high-ranking leaders, civilians, military personnel, etc.
No, The United States Doesn’t Have An Automatic “Dead Hand” Trigger For Its ICBMs
But Russia does.
https://www.twz.com/32114/no-the-united-states-doesnt-have-an-automatic-dead-hand-trigger-for-its-icbms
They couldn’t shit one if they tried.
bullshit
american sub commanders have the same fail-safe mechanisms the russians have… if Washington gets nuked, they know what to do
Neither Russian nor US submarine commanders can fire nuclear missiles by pushing a button. Some codes need to be entered. The question is how the codes are distributed and on whose authority.
Exactly. Launching a global thermonuclear war is not some small thing. The question is WHY Trump just announced for the entire world that Ohio class submarines are now moving to their new locations making them detectable by their Russian counterparts. WHY? WHY would Trump announce this on SOCIAL MEDIA? It’s insane. It’s so idiotic it hurts.
Perhaps so someone can talk about the Russian nuclear subs?
Which might lead to discussion of the Israeli nuclear-armed subs? [It is of course inconceivable that a diesel nuclear sub could sail across the Atlantic to threaten and blackmail America.]
Since you just beamed down, that is business as usual.
Boomer selfies.
Been there , done that, this time on social media.
There is a difference between taking pictures of SSBNs for PR purposes (which is done all the time, even by Russia) and announcing their offensive redeployment on social media.
2018 Norway, 2010 around China, even the ME where the Captain posed on deck.
Media of the times…
I wonder if Trump’s antics toward Russia is all an act and Putin is in on it? They could have arranged it during one of their phone calls. I recall the big scandal when Trump sucker punched Vince McMahon and beat the shit out of him. It turned out to be a big charade.
In 2016 Putin stole the election in his behalf, so Trump became “Putin’s Puppet”. Russiagate hampered his entire first term. Rachel Maddow screeched out the alarm every night for four solid years. Now it turns out their hero (who drone murdered American citizens wtihout a trial), President Drone Bomba, was the force behind Russiagate. It wasn’t Putin after all.
Putin has never withdrawn his public admiration or respect for Trump. You gotta wonder if Putin is playing the role of Vince McMahon and Medvedev is playing Stone Cold Steve Austin? His is the perfect persona for the part.
The public has bought some pretty far fetched fantasies in the past. Astronauts who flew through the Van Allen Belt in a tin can never heard of it and suffered no ill effects. Building 7 collapsed for no reason. Oswald shot JFK. The email server in Hillary’s bedroom was to keep her personal dinner dates private. The Secret Service didn’t notice a guy with a gun crawling across a roof with a scope mounted rifle, even ignored verbal warnings from the crowd.
The list goes on and on and on.
The media hasn’t called him Putin’s Puppet this time around, his hard nosed posture precludes that depiction. They’re calling him a war monger instead.
Well President Trump, looks like you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
You may well be onto something. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rq2QFvWFUC0
That video is a classic limited hangout portrayal, Rachel Maddow style.
It provides a lot of accurate information couched it a deceptive frame, omits tons of information that counters it it’s argument and is directed at a specific audience that already has a cursory, but incomplete, picture of the situation.
I am on to something, but not what that video is portraying.
I recall the big scandal when Trump sucker punched Vince McMahon and beat the shit out of him. It turned out to be a big charade.
Exactly. Trump learned his craft in professional wrestling. It’s all kayfabe. We’ve seen it over and over again. And it’s necessary- Trump has little to no institutional power. He doesn’t control the military, the security services, or his own private militia. When you look at who his real enemies are, and have been since at least 2015, it’s pretty clear that Trump has brought words to a gunfight- but he’s still making more progress in a lot of areas against those real enemies than anyone. president or not, has done, ever.
My problem with Trump is not the current mayhem and national humiliation, or the wrecking of the global economic system, these things have to happen for positive change to become possible. My concern is that even if/when Trump wins, it will be ultimately for a new class of radical greed heads, not for the people at large. Still, it can’t really be much worse than the current system, and might well be better, so why not? At least we get a dose of schadenfreude. Maybe Obama and Hillary will get arrested and perp-walked, though I doubt they’ll spend a day in jail. That would be worth something, even if it doesn’t lower the price of beef.
Maybe a bit off topic but quite enlightening for the context of today.

Well Larry excuse the language, this mother fucker has proven to be bat shit crazy!!! His base never voted for this, in fact we thought he would move towards normalizing relations with Russia and China! As Dimitry Medvedev stated Trump’s statements only prove that Russia is on the right and just path! Ukraine is in ruins and will be defeated the European Economy is in shambles and the US has a woke military waving rainbow 🌈 flags while attempting to defeat Russia with Ukraine as a proxy! A once sincere supporter of Trump thinking he was the last hope for peace, I have now become more and more a supporter of our constitution and the people taking charge of our destiny, not some elitist global entity that has infiltrated it!! Great work Larry, the shit pisses me off and saddens me and the same time! Trump has proven to be a fucking idiot! More concerned with forgien affairs that have nothing to do with us American Citizens than his once promised domestic policies!! This is for Trump👎🖕
bit naive, aren’t you?
You haven’t been paying attention- probably because you’re depending on MSM, and they aren’t reporting it- but Trump has put some major hurt on his domestic enemies in the Deep and Permanent States, and this is a precondition for actually making policy changes in the traditional (constitutional) way.
And how can anyone prove that he has put a major hurt on the Deep State? He put a Zionist scumag in charge of Langley world who is much worse than Burns, his predecessor. He, at least, tries to control the mighty financial sector and attempts to remake the country into an industrial behemoth. That will take eons, and probably fail, since the blue-collar force has been all but wiped out. He has lied just about every promise he made before his election, and thusly, pissed off many of his base. His directionless speech is that of a sixth grader. Even if you think he tries to change the USA, is there any viable proof that he will do so? Is there any proof that he will exterminate the Deep State? Were he to attempt it, he would JFK’ed. The chances of progress or success are, as usual, dim.
Oh, of course. 5D chess and all.
gravity bombs………..seriously? against russia they would have to be flown in and dropped over the target. i doubt if any american/nato aircraft carrying these weapons would get within 200 miles of the russian border before being shot down.
attempting such fool hardiness against (best in the world by generations) russian anti air defense is suicide.
what trump is continuously demonstrating is wahington/nato KNOW they have been defeated and humiliated in the ukraine conflict but thus far REFUSE to accept this reality or as einstein is reputed to have quipped…………insanity, doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
i do enjoy medvedev’s piquant sense of humor
Yup. What all of this is really about is confusing because it is so stupid.
The ‘stupidity’ is not stupid, it’s brilliant. Even you can see how absurd the idea of war with Russia is now. So can everyone else in the West.
Gravity bombs are the only tactical nuclear weapons America has. This is not true of Russia and China, of course.
America is cursed with a curse, which its government always expresses in threats, lies, bloodshed, and destruction because the country has moved away from its Christian roots to a Satanic/Jewish worldview.
http://biblicisminstitute.wordpress.com/2014/07/17/is-america-cursed/
And surprise… the conflict with Russia was made in Jewish hell.
http://biblicisminstitute.wordpress.com/2015/03/17/the-truth-about-the-conflict-with-russia/
A self- indulgent, infantile narcissist is at the top of the US Military Command. What can go wrong?
Perversely, the clearly disclosed independent operators in the US Government must have some side-step mechanism in place to the Egomaniac, dangerous to the United States, performative President orders, so they can sit on ice, while the child gets over the melt-down? Yes? No?
Trump can strap himself to the first bomb. What a clown.
Every day, making Biden look better.
sorry your candidate lost…
suck it up
Irritability and mood changes are symptoms of Lasix (furosemide) overdose. Perhaps Trump’s doctor should check his dosage before there is a nuclear exchange due to the dosage has been set too high for Trump’s latest health issue.
Any doubt we are in WW3?
We are just in the Conventional (and still Bullshit) Stage, for the Nuclear Stage to come we have to wait more years, but it will be during Trump mandate.
But lets not deviate from the heart of the matter here:
It’s still the DISTRACTION game, and Trump surprised me how much material he can create.
– Distraction from what?
– I told you already several times: Distraction from WW3 Second Front: Middle East.
——-NATO (Turkey) vs Iran-Yemen——
Trump is an Israel-first, eschatological, End-of-Earther.
Like Tony Blair, converting to Catholicism at the end of his political career.
Watch Trump convert to the religion of his daughter and son-in-law, if he hasn’t already.
Yet, let’s remember, Trump, in his bleating about ending the Ukraine war in 24 hours, blah, blah, blah, was relying on his Mighty Threats, not diplomacy.
And if we are going to have WWIII because of this man-child, at least let’s take some comfort that Russia can hit all US power centers, including DC and New York.
It’s not New York, it’s Jew York City. I saw a movie in which an actor said that.
oh really? Now we are going to have world war III
how original
Correct. Trump’s position was always that Biden, etc., was not tough enough in Ukraine and everywhere else.
Very important, if true. China becomes the first country to refuel a satellite in orbit. Until now, all satellites and spaceships have been launched with all the fuel they would ever use. The capability to refuel/assemble space systems in orbit would significantly extend China’s reach in space.
Dr Fucci, China’s engineering accomplishments are mind-boggling. As my mind is one of the boggliest on the planet, it is very hard to keep up. Martyanov keeps telling us that China is totally dependent on Russia, and yet its practice seems to prove the opposite.
I follow Hua Bin on unz, com, who has pointed out that, unlike everyone else, it has developed two 6th generation fighters of radical design:
https://www.unz.com/bhua/truth-is-on-the-sharp-end-of-the-bayonet/ 6th generation fighters
and now seems to be developing a sort of MRI scan for the oceans which can detect submarines:
https://www.unz.com/bhua/china-develops-magnetic-wake-technology-against-submarine-stealth/
As your expertise is in this area, and I have none, would it be possible for you to help us evaluate such claims over the coming months, please?
Russia is a much poorer country than China. So it cannot develop multiple “next-gen” fighters that could be rendered obsolete by improved anti-stealth technologies (which I will discuss).
Russia has also had to fight several real wars for the last twenty+ years.
China is wealthier and has not fought a serious war since Korea. So the two countries come from very different directions.
The submarine-detection technology is a highly classified field. Still, it is possible that eventually, the Chinese will develop methods for nullifying the advantage of the US and Russian submarine fleets, although the timeframe is unclear.
I think Russia still leads China in anti-air and anti-missile systems, nuclear power and weapons, submarine technology, and advanced hypersonic missiles of several kinds. Also, the Russian missiles have been tested in action with mostly successful results.
In the long term, the large and very educated population of China should produce advancements in both the civil and military fields that will revolutionize the world power structure. Russia will fall into a secondary position, if only because of the much smaller population. (Still, I refuse to make definite geopolitical predictions, limiting myself to examining technological advances.)
thank you, important.
Now please kindly do thorium reactors.
Too much noise today on this site to discuss Throrium reactors.
Seeing as Trump is sounding lately like the drunk guy at the end of the bar shouting at the TV because he doesn’t like what is happening there, I would like to be a little off topic. Larry, you have really got me with this cow bell stuff. Every time I hear it in a song, I think of your analogy. Just picked up Three Dig Nights greatest hits and low and behold what do I hear at the start of Black and White, cowbell. Of course Trump is the ultimate cowbeller, if that is a word.
There’s a song, previously exposed on this site, that has even more meaning than before. I dug it then, I dig it even more now, and it even means more than before. “For what it’s worth.”
Paul Williams ( American song writer hall of fame member ) wrote a few songs for 3 dog night . From PoP – the Beef construction song – Somebody Super Like You – is definitely a song I would play at a Trump rally .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJkt5l8H3JU&list=RDTJkt5l8H3JU&start_radio=1
Trump is the loud mouth in the bar that hasn’t had his mouth silenced. Yet.
I’m pretty sure the Russian leadership views the recent U.S. manoeuvres, particularly former President Trump’s announcement of nuclear submarine deployments, as theatrics aimed more at domestic optics than serious strategy.
Officials close to the Kremlin noted wryly that “Washington seems to think foreign policy is a reality show. Russia, however, operates in the real world.”
They dismissed the threats as bluster, adding, “We’ve watched empires rattle their weapons at Russia before. Napoleon tried. Hitler tried. Both failed. Geography does not favour hubris.”
As one senior figure put it, “If Mr. Trump wishes to play admiral on social media, that is his right. Russia will continue to prepare—not panic. The sea is vast, and so is our restraint. But both have their limits.”
Russia, they emphasised, does not bluff. It responds—strategically, proportionately, and decisively.
Smoke, mirrors and sh*tposts to cover up Epstein’s clients!
USN could not sortie two “nuclear submarines out on short notice….
I am retired since 2002 back then no one could confirm nuclear weapons were in any place.
It’s Epstein!
I think it’s the economy. The effects of the global dedollarization is starting to show now. This is also the real reason for Trumps Tariff agenda.
My main saw blade supplier just raised prices 18%.
Yeah, no inflation.
Yeah, what about OLED TV’s? There made in many places and assembled in another foreign country. I hope Trump voters pay a shitload more Benjamins for them. The ruling class pigs, it bothers them not one iota.
US surface these boats for selfies – link below.
Good post. Scott Ritter pointed out that there are always 2 Ohio class submarines in the Pacific Ocean and 2 in the Atlantic Ocean. Why would Trump publicly announce he is moving these submarines closer to Russia?
It appears Trump’s behavior is getting even more reckless. It seems every day Trump is threatening another country militarily or economically.
Back at home, Trump’s MABA base are watching their living standard decline. The precarious economic situation facing many American families can be seen from these statistics:
– Total household debt now exceeds $18 trillion; outstanding credit card debt ~ 1.2 trillion @ median interest 24% (https://www.newyorkfed.org/microeconomics/hhdc)
– Circa 25% of Americans are using “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) loans from Affirm, Klarna, PayPal and Sezzle to cover everyday living expenses, including groceries. The interest rate on past due accounts can be > 30%. (See: “Buy now, pay later” plans can rack up steep interest charges. Here’s what shoppers should know. By Anne Marie Lee CBS July 24, 2025;
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/buy-now-pay-later-loans-interest-rate-fees-tips-what-to-know/)
– 59% of Americans don’t have enough savings to cover an unexpected $1,000 emergency expense. (See: Most Americans can’t afford a $1,000 emergency expense, report finds By Anne Marie Lee CBS Jan 23, 2025; https://www.cbsnews.com/news/saving-money-emergency-expenses-2025/).
Looming in the background is Epstein. Are Trump’s actions an attempt to deflect from the Epstein investigation?
Yeah, my son fits that description to a tee. He couldn’t shit a couple thousand in an emergency, if his witless life depended on it. All attempts to encourage him not to go deep in debt fall on deaf ears
It appears that your panties are all wadded up AND your slip is showing
“Why would Trump publicly announce he is moving these submarines closer to Russia?”
Because he’s the self appointed bombastic bloviating king of the world. Just don’t look at the man behind the curtain… Chip
maybe for the effect such an announcement would have in the media?
did that ever occur to you or any of these other whiners here?
Not too savvy, I must say. Y’all need to go watch Wag the Dog again and pay attention this time, you might learn something
The tarrifs and other shenanigans will push tens of millions of folk in the collective west into poverty.
European prosperity was massively reliant upon affordable Russian enengy/food/timber/fertiliser etc. The only country in the world that Europe had to remain on trading terms was Russia, whether they liked them or not.
The suicidal sanctions of 2022, have made every man, woman and child in Europe significantly poorer, and pushed a huge chunk of the population who were “just getting by” into the danger zone. And the ramifications of this are only just beginning to emerge.
and for the bombing of the pipeline you can thank the BIDEN ADMINISTRATION and the machinations of the US / UK Axis
which has a hard-on for russia and its resources
for the life of me I can’t understand what makes these western predators think they can justify such behavior
And the politico’s don’t give a shit… Chip
No that’s not correct, at least yet. GDP per capita is still rising in Europe.
https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/gdp-per-capita?continent=europe
GDP is a joke. PPP is a much better at describing the state of the economy.
“Trading Economics,” huh?
“Our data for economic indicators is based on official sources, not third party data providers”
yeah, right
and of course, OFFICIAL SOURCES NEVER LIE
right, Ursula?
The cost of living in Europe has sky-rocketed. But wages have remained stagnant for most of us. Please explain how almost everyone is not significantly poorer than they were a few years ago?
They are, but it’s the long-term consequence of Europes neoliberalism. The war in Ukraine is accelerating what was already happening, to the benefit of the US-centric capitalists, but it was going to happen regardless because of the nature of globalist financialism. You idiots lost the war when you didn’t throw out your corrupt leadership on the day Trump scrapped JCPOA, following Obama’s coup in Ukraine. Classic pincer movement, EU central bank had to start printing money like the Fed, but the Euro ain’t the petrodollar and it’s not the global reserve currency, so you dug a hole you can’t climb out of.
well, the “official sources” say so… so it must be true
Nominal yes
Average, perhaps
But more poor
Huh? Choose whatever GDP metric you want. If you go to the link I posted there’s a list on the right side.
GDP in financialized economies is totally meaningless.

Look up the story of Chin Gigante, NYC mobster.
https://sonar21.com/trump-escalates-nuclear-threat-to-russia-taking-the-world-to-the-brink-of-nuclear-war/#comment-324642
you beat me to it but it bears repeating
I wasn’t aware of Chin Gigante. One of the articles about him is titled “The ‘Crazy Like a Fox’ Years”.
Great analogy.
Yep, when a threat rears its head from either other Mafia entities, or the Pigs, they go to the mattresses.
Ukraine must say ‘yes’ to gay marriage – EU state
Sweden says Kiev must allow homosexual weddings in order to meet the bloc’s standards
Sweden can fuck right off
Does Viktor Orban know about this?
Trump should listen to his own insight – “Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences …”
For the president of a country with so many big cities sitting on ocean shores, raising the submarine threat seems a tad heedless. More consequential is the deployment of nuclear weapons on allied countries’ territory. But hey, I’m sure the Russians have enough to toast them and the USA if things really go south,
submarine threat has not been raised one iota
I am not a native English speaker but I’d say that sending submarines is raising a submarine threat, though I should have perhaps written “brandishing” or “wielding” instead of “raising”. But I’d agree that it hasn’t risen the threat one iota.
Boomer selfies is the game.
A characteristic of the Trump-Medvedev exchange that people have not understood is that Trump answered with threats of offensive actions to the other side pointing out that Russia has the Perimetr system (“Dead-Hand”) designed to answer automatically to a nuclear attack, even in case the Russian leadership has been eliminated. Perimetr is a defensive system, ultimately.
Medvedev answered with Perimitr reminders.
That, plus the huge Poseidon nuclear torpedo. Washington, District of cocksuckers sits on the Potomac, which gets wider eastward, into a bay, into the Atlantic. One Poseidon launched into those waters and D.C. and its grifters, the scumbag leadership, and its innocents will go Glub Blub!
Trump does not have the intelligence for a move like this, RE; subs to Russia. The psychopathic person who advised Trump of this must be investigated and removed.
you do not have the intelligence to discern media bombast from significant news
Trump’s idle bullshit threat has both the Pentagon and the Kremlin laughing their asses off
the only people who fall for this crap are dweebs like this Trump-bashing crowd
idjits
idjits – it’s been a while since I heard that
🤣
You may have just edged the shirt competition. God, you and Nima and Andrei and the Judge and a handful of others. Never change.
Currently watching the Roger Waters interview on Counter Currents.
Fascinating and moving piece. Thanks Larry.
Yes, Donald the Awesome started by preventing the threat of World War III and literally canceling nuclear Armageddon. And now, without even realizing it, he is slowly turning into Sleepy Joe himself. But the whole world can see it.
Sad.
P.S. I was worried when I read the news that Sonar21 might have been hacked. I would really miss the sharp articles and accurate analysis of Larry Johnson and his invited guests.
“Donald Trump behaves in his social media posts like a stoned teenage girl.” – that’s a strong word.
Now we can expect reports in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian, Le Monde and other free press that Sonar21 was hacked by the Russians in order to falsely accuse the Democratic Party.
Dear Mr. Johnson,
what is wrong with you???
Trump’s move was nothing but typical “tough guy” bluster for the media
You should understand that and call it what it was.
If you don’t, then I question your understanding
If you do know what Trump is up to, then I question your motives and integrity
Dear fool, SHUT IT
love you too, baby
I question your undying loyalty to the idiot orange man… Chip
I have no loyalty to Trump
or to the clowns posting here
y’all get all excited over this silly shit and reflexively start Trump bashing because you have nothing intelligent to offer except; “Trump sucks.”
which doesn’t require any intelligence at all
none of you have any clue what is going on… most of the time Trump is just running his mouth because if there’s one thing he understands, it’s that it is better to stay in the limelight and dominate the discourse, than to let your opponents attack and constantly be on the defensive
apparently that is too much for the intellectual lightweighs here to handle
So, would you oblige us ignorants wandering in the dark and shed some light on what Trump really is up to?
how the FUCK should I know that?
I’m not his chief of staff
Sorry, but since you consistently post comments to defend him, I mistakenly surmised that you knew what he’s up to.
I’m sure the 5D chess crowd will explain that these moves are against the Europeans he’s realty fighting against – even as his every action is to increase his conflicts with everyone else.
They think he is the Grand Master. The Russians know he is a durek. I think the most accurate assessment comes from Orlov: the USA replaced a vegetable president with an Alzheimers president.
you obviously were happier with the vegetable
Covering for Epstein’s clients and U economic decline.
More like the Wizard of Oz to me.
A Man’s Got to Know His Limitations
Trump doesn’t.
He doesn’t seem to know his abilities either.
Because he’s got none, Trump was essentially a guy who inherited money from his father and had a successful show-business career. Nothing more than that.
This idea did not come from Trump. He doesn’t have the intelligence to dream up something like this. The psychopath who convinced Tel Aviv Don to do this should be investigated and removed.
I agree.
Considering that submarines by nature are “Stealth” weapons this statement is totally insane. I wouldn’t want to know where the Russian subs are stationed, but professionally impeccable, the Russian navy is not telling.
The executive order issued by Moron Trump on Thursday evening, imposing sweeping tariffs on virtually every rapidly disappearing trading partner of the imploding US, is a milestone in the decay and breakdown of American and global capitalism.
The US has now created a tariff wall around itself equivalent to that imposed, with disastrous consequences both economically and politically during the Great Depression of the 1930s, and which played a decisive role in creating the conditions for the eruption of World War II, the greatest bloodbath do far in human history.
The consequences of Trump’s economic war against the world will be no less significant. It will bring about a rapid descent into intense economic conflict leading inexorably to the eruption of war, but this time it is all too likely be a civilization ending nuclear conflagration.
Trump’s deployment of Ohio class nuclear submarines close to Russia, a highly provocative move that can only be interpretted as preparation for launching a preemptive decapitation first strike – that will trigger a deadman counter strike wiping out the US in entirety as Medvedev warned – has set off the spiral of escalation brinksmanship that leads inevitably to entirely predictable ‘game over’ human extinction.

OK here we go again with Smoot-Hawley
that was bullshit then and still is now
“closer to russia” what a crock of shit. The russians couldn’t care less
The World Socialist Website
holy shit
guess we know where you’re coming from
The global economic system is on the verge of collapse for reasons having nothing to do with Trump. The question is not whether it will collapse, but what will happen in the US when it does. Trump is attempting to leverage the collapse to re-industrialize the continental US. The very successful war against the EU is part of this, turning them into a captive market rather than a competitor, cutting them off from cheap energy and cheap consumer goods from China.
The tariffs in general are to isolate the US economy in a controlled way- for the same basic purpose, to support the reindustrialization of the US. They aren’t designed ‘balance trade,’ they are designed to stop it, because the current trade system is the lifeblood of the neoliberal banking establishment, which is at the end of the day Trump’s real enemy- and the enemy of all mankind.
Is that you Alex Krainer?
Or perhaps Tom Luongo?
Trump is compromised, just like every other western “leader”, senior corporate/banking executive and “important” politician- by “they”
They ordered the JFK hit & RFK hit.
They arranged the convid & vax operation. Remember president warpspeed?
They arranged the proxy war in Ukraine.
They arranged the genocide in Gaza.
They arranged to bail trump out when he went bankrupt.
They have pictures & videos of trump in very compromising positions. How do you think Epstein got so wealthy?
They can & will destroy Trump Inc, if Trump gives them reason.
They can & will JFK Trump if he gives them reason.
For all we know he is under the influence of something like MK Ultra.
Trump is not going to prevent the collapse of America and the American empire. In fact it seems like he is expediting it.
Maybe he understands the only way to save America is by inciting revolution. If so, he is on the right track.
And in Germany, the guys are talking about being ready to kill Russians again, about “final victory” and “holding out.” “We” had heard that 80 years ago. I don’t know if there’s an unofficial competition going on in the West: “Who’s the biggest idiot?”
I’ve heard from several analysts in the US that Trump isn’t in power. He’s just “selling shit for gold.” That’s supposed to be his real job. I don’t know if that’s true. But since the US was founded, the capital interests of very powerful circles have determined domestic and foreign policy. Psychiatrists have to follow the money trail.
Is Sergei Karaganov right when he says the West has lost its fear of nuclear war? It’s well known that the US has no problem with a nuclear war in Europe and Eurasia. As long as only “European” tactical nuclear weapons and no US strategic nuclear weapons are used, Russia would not attack the US. Because that would be the end of humanity. “No, no, the Russians will never do that.” The Europeans only have tactical nuclear weapons. But not strategic ones. Neither do France and Great Britain. I expect that shortly before a continental war in Europe, the US will transfer its nuclear weapons to the Europeans. According to the motto: “We have nothing to do with all this. These are European nuclear weapons.” Oh, these fools.
Internationally, only a small minority of people are deeply informed. A small, mutually communicating bubble. The vast majority consume exclusively their governments’ propaganda and sleep in their “parallel universe.” Or rather, in a matrix: “Everything will be fine.”
Herr Heikomr: I think that comparing the zeal to attack Russia now with what went on eighty some years ago does not make sense. My grandpa, and my uncle were as hard as woodpecker lips. How would you compare today’s jugend and elderlies, as SS leader Merz would recruit to the previous cohort. Also, with the modernity of Russian weapons today, the German Forces would not survive, were they tried to go Eastwards. They will die in great numbers. There is a positive outcome, however, their bodies, or what’s left of them, would not be transported a long way to be buried. Just look at all the happy snaps of Ukie flags mounted on their massively expanding cemeteries.
you’ll be waiting quite a while for that to happen
europe has no army
without the US backing it has exactly squat
the russians will not attack europe
that leaves europe with wild romantic dreams about putting together a fairy army and attacking russia
good luck with that
A very good point. Because that’s precisely what puzzles every observer of these developments. On the one hand, the Europeans are militarily, economically, and in terms of personnel incapable of waging a conventional war over a prolonged period, let alone winning, and on the other hand, they are escalating to the extreme. What is the goal of their actions? Do they even have a goal? Apart from staying in power and avoiding being held accountable by their populations for their past crimes? Or are they driven by irrational assessments and thinking? After a Russian victory, do the European elites want to maintain their Fourth Reich, as Orwell and the World Economic Forum (WEF) put it, under totalitarian control behind their “Iron Wall” by indoctrinating their populations with anti-Russian sentiments and driving them into fear of Russia? In any case, we’ll soon know. Moreover, the US can no longer win a war against an equal opponent. Not to mention that an open US war against Russia and China would inevitably turn nuclear.
I forgot one important point. The media and politicians always create the impression that the EU/NATO and the European governments act independently and sovereignly from the US. That’s bullshit. Europeans are, without exception, US colonies. Even more so now than 30 years ago. Given this fact, one can now consider who or what is driving the war against Russia and the BRICS.
I’m not baffled. The Europeon elites are slaves of the US elites now, and they need the tools to control their own populations while their economies are gutted and exploited for the benefit of US industrialists. They don’t have a hope in hell of fighting Russia, and they know it. It’s part churn to feed the (US) MIC, and part a pragmatic response to the reality that they have lost the war to the US- they’ll hold their wives and daughters down while the Americans rape them. The build up of the military is for that, and perhaps to keep countries like Hungary from flying the coop.
The goal is to extract tax payer funds from the future just like the US is and has been doing on steroids. The battle is between the US and EU for who can economically survive the longest. Without convincing everyone that they desperately need to arm for a war against Russia this wouldn’t be possible.
Good comment, thx
Good comment; thanks. I’ve long been worried that there must be an American plan to stage a nuclear proliferation with it’s ‘allies’ – who have all of the autonomy of trained seals. Already there are legalistic arrangements ‘allowing’ use by treaty ‘partners’ under certain conditions. However I know little about this; I’m sure others on this site know better than I.
no, they don’t
‘A small, mutually communicating bubble.’ Well said. It’s something all of us on here need to be reminded of constantly. Personally, I remind myself all the time of how I saw the NATO campaign against Serbia in the 90s at the time, as against what I know now, to ram home just how out of touch are those who rely on the mainstream are. At the time that was my sole source of information. In England, if the FT, the Guardian and the BBC agreed with the Mail Daily Telegraph agree on something, most people think it must be true. Although, far fewer people will nowadays say they trust the media when asked, the reality is that their view is so widespread that unless one is aware of how it’s being challenged, it still permeates down to the masses.
Remember when The Guardian still allowed dissident voices?
In 2003 their coverage of the Iraq War was quite impressive. You could find John Bolton and John Pilger in the same copy. That all went with Snowdengate in 2014 and they became a neocon mouthpiece. In fact you’re more likely to find dissent from the likes of Peter Hitchens in The Mail on Sunday than you are The Guardian.
And you are quite right, most British people swallowed the Yugoslavia campain hook line and sinker, because there was little else out there. It makes you wonder how much else we were lied to our entire lives.
Westerners were brought up to believe that people from Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Russia etc had a God-given right to move to The Holy Land and ethnically cleanse it. And to even question it, made you a bad person.
And given that the campaign against Russia pretty much started in 1945, we have to wonder how honest all those history books we were brought up on really were/are.
the “Off Guardian” consists of a bunch of former Guardian independent who were so tired of the Guardian’s propaganda bullshit that they started their own independent site.
Putin’s statement about the transfer of the first batch of serial “Oreshnik” to the troops is a clear political and strategic signal. There are several recipients, and each one reads this signal in its own way.
First, for the United States and NATO, it is a demonstration of the ability of the Russian Federation not only to fight in a protracted conflict, but also to simultaneously build up the technological base of the army. With all the ensuing consequences in the form of combat use.
The West expected that the war would lead to the stagnation of the Russian military-industrial complex, but instead Moscow shows that it is transferring even experimental projects to a series. This means that the scenario of “exhausting” Russia is becoming less realistic.
Secondly, it is a warning to Washington’s allies in Asia. Russia is able not only to fend off threats in Europe, but also to quickly scale up such solutions in the event of an Asian crisis.
And finally, this is a political hint that Moscow is ceasing to act reactively. Instead of responding to threats, there is a proactive formation of defense contours that pre—neutralize any new moves by the United States after the collapse of the INF Treaty.
From this point of view, “Oreshnik” is not so much about Ukraine as about removing the issue of military vulnerability in the European theater of operations for Russia once and for a long time.
And maybe not only there.
https://t.me/Warhronika/9347
In addition, Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko yesterday that the issue of deploying “Oreshnik” missiles in Belarus would be closed by the end of 2025, and a location was being chosen.
“Belarus is closer to the main European capitals than Russia, so putting “Oreshnik” missiles there is a great idea, which, as the Russian president said, will be implemented by the end of the year. It is clear that our trust in Minsk is unprecedented, since we have supplied it with nuclear weapons – these are our most loyal and closest friends – so we should have had a common security system for a long time,” the Russian president said.

1) Are these subs nuclear powered or nuclear armed?
2) Re Kalinin. Is the US committing to ‘nation building’ now?
1 – How would you know? What must you assume?
2 – Kaliningrad is part of Russia and a car drive away. How about Hawaii?
Are you feelin lucky punk? Well are you?
“Are these subs nuclear powered or nuclear armed?”
Both, I think.
the answer is YES
Boolean logic – an OR question is always answered yes if either of the variables is TRUE
Yes both. There are two types of Ohio-class variants. One type (14 vessels) has 20 ballistic missiles and the other (4 vessels) has 154 cruise missiles which can be nuclear (Tomahawks).
There are no nuclear warheads for the Tomahawks.
There used to be that option.
Amera has no nuclearsubs that are not nuclear armed.
Not true, US SSNs and SSGNs aren’t nuclear-armed. Only SSBNs are.
America has NO tactical nuclear missiles based on ships, submarines, or anywhere else.
Only strategic systems, like the SSBNs, carry nuclear missiles.
Wikipedia (never lies ;o ) says you are WRONG
Tomahawks can carry nuclear warheads -whether they do or not is up to the pentagon / CIC
we also had nuclear torpedoes at one time
and strategic vs tactical weapons is a bullshit distinction
short-range weaponry is actually more dangerous because the flight time is less and the weapons are not as easy to identify and track
Lots of nuclear weapons at one time. But, after the closure of Rocky Flats, America has a minimal ability to build new copies of once-existing atomic weapons.
Larry you have missed what started this all
It was Lindsey Grahams threat the US kill the Russian Leadership in that infamous X post – referring to a Iran style decapitation strike.
Medvedev responded to Trump’s threats against him and Russia
We are now in dangerous waters never during the Cold War did we ever see this behavior from a US Administration
I have always until recently set great store by what Alex Krainer says. But his view that Trump is playing 5D chess, I find not credible.
Given Trump’s recent increasingly unhinged behaviour, I hope Krainer is right.
But on the face of it Trump is a person wholly unsuited to be President.
Amongst this furore he is creating, the MSM here in England is reporting that Ghislaine Maxwell has been quietly moved to a low security prison in Texas. Connection?
Be interested to know if the American MSM is reporting this
the people posting here are mostly incapable of judging Trump’s behavior, they natter on like a bunch of terrified, propagandized proles
“Nattering nabobs of negativisim”
Yes, Ghislaine Maxwell has been moved to a minimum-security prison camp in Texas. She was transferred from a low-security federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida, to the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas, a move confirmed by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons and her attorney. This transfer is considered unusual because inmates convicted of sex offenses are typically not placed in minimum-security facilities.
There are two ways to look at this. One, she made a deal with the assistant attorney general, second to that Bimboesque Pam Bondi, in order to get a better enviro. Two, it could be easier to to Epstein her. Much like what happened to James Whitey Bulger, who was killed after a move to another prison
I used to love listening to Alex, but his BROMANCE with trump is pathetic
as is your hate for Trump
the difference is that Krainer’s opinion IS widely respected, and his knowledge of world history is far superior to yours
Twice last week, Alex Krainer implied that Trump was secretly aligned with the Iranians against Israel.
It’s all tied up with his Zionism = Britain = City Of London etc. world view.
It’s an interesting perspective, likely with some truth to it, but I think he gets carried away and overstates the importance of Britian, which is a minor power in decline.
You’ll notice that when Alex talks he’s less interested in facts than about leaps of faith and mental gymnastics. He has a picture in his brain, but he’s not a great jigsaw player.
BRITAIN has the City of London
it has an extensive spy network and 56 members in its Commonwealth of Nations
it has an extensive network of offshore money-laundering and tax oases, and some of the largest banks in the world – the PTB in London are swimming in money
it is the seat of an empire in decline
and it has, or had, the US government working for IT for the last hundred years
the brits are on the decline but they are not out yet
Perfide Albion is not a mighty empire any more, but it would be better not to overlook their negative potential or evil aspirations
BRITAIN has the City of London
It might be better to say that the City of London has Britain- and a lot more besides. If has to move to a headquarters in New York, or Sao Paolo, or Kits and St James, it still has immense control around the globe. The US is the enforcement arm.
Rumors abound that UAE is the next City.
The best laid plans of mice and men go oft awry.
Yes, Fuck Joe Biden was incredibly well suited for the presidency, as was his hyena
That’s the problem, you think choosing between the less evil is a choice. You are too old to change, but this “2 party system” IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE, if it ever did
brilliant post
I would have voted for Kennedy but the american people wouldn’t give him a chance as an independent, and the democrats did everything they could to sink him
as far as your worthless opinion of the “two party system,” find a way to fix it then… YOUNGSTER
I have been through more changes in my life than you wil ever accomplish.. and believe me, i was once as dumb as you
What has Joe Biden got to do with Trump being a deeply unpleasant thug, wholly unsuited to high office?
and yet there Trump is, and he has accomplished a good bit in his first six months
You may recall that the Biden administration was doing everything it could to swamp america in illegal border jumpers, who were all expected to vote democrat, either illegally or legally
you may recall that Biden did everything he could (as did his predecessor) to shut down the mining of petroleum products for ENERGY needed by our civilisation
you may recall the Biden administration shoveling Billions and Billions of US dollars out the door to anybody who would take them, just before he left office
and you are probably deeply disheartened that Trump has shut down USAID and a huge propaganda and dirty tricks slush fund
not to mention that he is making serious efforts to augment the revenue of the United States WITHOUT TAXING THE HELL OUT OF AMERICANS
but of course none of that registers with the morons here
He’s using deflection, all magatards do it
and fuck you too, MEGATARD
I am not MAGA
maggot
I hope so too but it’s fading by the day.
Gangster not “chess player” – that’s for wimps.
Trump may be involved in something really nasty in Gaza. It looks to me like Palestinians will shortly, or perhaps already, get nothing to eat but white bread. Animals fed on nothing but white bread DIE.
Just wait a month or two and the whole Gaza ‘problem’ will be solved. I have a horrible feeling Trump knows about this.
TRUMP IS FUNDING THIS, of course he knows
Gangster, not philosopher . The case of NYC mobster Chin Gigante , Roy Cohn, Richard Nixon.
As E. M. Burlingame put it during the conversation with Alex Krainer, to successfully negotiate the political challenges before him, Trump does not need to be a sage or a great philosopher. Instead, he needs to be a gangster. At least, he needs to be comfortable with that mindset, and that much does appear to be the case.
What Krainer lists is just the tip of the iceberg. We can back up Burlingame’s primary assertions about the Sport of Kings from day one of his first administration- when he was losing more than winning. He got better at playing that game during his four years out of office, not worse. Kokinda’s story about the ‘real enemy’ makes it clear that Trump is fighting the biggest financiers, at home and abroad, and they are fighting him. I’ve always said this, and his kayfabe tactics have been obvious since the bidniz with Kim, who played his own part beautifully. The end result of that, however, showed just how little direct control over his own cabinets and the institutions of the Executive Branch he had- and he doesn’t have much more today.
It’s so simple: Don’t provoke Trump! He will destroy the whole planet then.
Trump is an old man, almost eighty. What do you expect from starting dementia? He can’t see the world any more as it is. He lives in his golden days of 1980.
America could not have “won” a nuclear war, in any sense, even in the 1980s.
In Hollywood, the USA won all wars. And Japan surrendered because of the nukes.
The last time the US population was struck by war was at Lincoln’s time…..
The strong belief keeps people avoiding seeing reality.
They were going to surrender a little time before, as they approached the USSA. One, the fire bombings killed more civilians. Two, Truman was talked into nuking the Japanese as a message to the Ruskies.
It’s getting scary, isn’t it? This is certainly not the type of leader we hoped for and voted for. Personally, I believe he is going “mad’ and is losing his ability for rational thought.
That’s what it looks like. Question is whether it’s an act or not.
Trump’s posturing is fake, just like the “war” in Ukraine.
A “Fake” war that has destroyed a million+ & counting real lives.
Before this war, Ukieland was the most corrupt shithole in Europe. The people who could hightail it out of there did so, and this, before and after 2014. The western oligarchs and the Deep Staters of the West were in there even before 2014, as was their wont.
you have to understand that there are teenagers, college students, Karens and self-styled “philosophers” posting here
this is not a site that appeals to people of a conservative mindset
and it is not a site that encourages rational thinking, either
in fact, Larry’s style encourages emotional reactions and fear-mongering
You are right about the fact that Larry is often overly emotional.
THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?
to pull your chain, baby
Fear is justified when a moron with incipient dementia is “in charge”.
really?
you think fear is “justified?”
I think fear makes you a target
+1
Western news outlets are rushing to claim a word-victory here before it all dwindles away like all the other threats emanating from this big mouth. ‘Russia stunned into silence’ by Trump’s declaration’ is the gist of it here in europe.
Actions always speak louder than words. The leading Russian news studio now runs a huge cartoon clock showing the tick down to whatever is the latest US armageddon scenario.
That said, Russia will take all necessary precautions- just in case someone from looney-land fires something off.
that’s what you get for following european media
I would advise you to turn off your TV and stop reading the boulevard press
and by “boulevard” I mean all the propaganda rags masquerading as serious journalism in europe
It’s ALL CRAP
the only sources that are not crap routinely get banned for telling the truth
So NK makes a show of moving its nukes closer to the US and Russia makes a gesture of its own. Trump is talking the US into a major settlement with Putin over the Ukraine debacle. He will claim that in the supervening interests of world peace Ukraine must be forfeit or a great chunk of it anyway, that this was always going to happen, and that this is Biden’s fault and europe’s, for chucking the chance of a better deal in 2022.
The real powers that drive the world have no interest in trying to survive a nuclear holocaust. Money and the power that goes with it, has to chase the real value of real resources one way or another and if the mountain will not come to them (and they have jut had a last blast try), they have to go to the mountain. So the power base, the hub of it all, simply moves east and the old west has to start singing a new song, or new leaders will do it for the old ones. Ukraine will be forfeit to a new world order operating from the east, not the west. Retrospectively, this conflict and the ME furore will turn out to have been the pivot for that move, and as events in a long time line, will be reframed historically.
ooooooh.. “forfeit….”
good word
“furore,” another one
The political structures of Russia, China and Iran are not controlled by oligarchic rule. The wealthy in those states must abide by state rule and are subject to state punishment for operating outside that rule or attempting to gain political power. This principle has been demonstrated on multiple occasions by all three countries – even death sentences in China and Iran.
But the rest of your comment I agree with.
The problem for your theory is that there already is a “powers that be” in the east and to think that your powers that be are just going to move in and take over seems a bit fanciful.
Blaise Paschal is famous for saying that it is easier to believe that something that has happened before will happen again than to believe that something that has never happened will happen.
I’ll bet on Samuel Clemons history rhyming.
the name was PASCAL
CLEMENS
has nothing to do with lemons
I admit that I was always chosen last for the spelling bee, But I can spell jackass.
My point still stands.
An interesting take. To avert a potential planet destroying war, I hope you’re right. To get a perpetuation of what has led us to this point, oligarchic/banking control setting us once again on the road to serfdom, I hope you’re not.
that “planet destroying war” is a crock of shit, too
great for scaring the pants off of the plebs
no fucking basis in reality at all
You could pop off all the nuclear bombs in all the arsenals in the world, you would end up with a lot of dead people and a lot of contaminated streaks where the fallout lands
nuclear winter? total bullshit
the animals would be back within a couple years and the world will be just fine, thanks
LET’S hope you are some of the ones left after, so you can deal with no food, undrinkable water, etc.
A bit of an exaggeration, but I tend to agree, for the planet as a whole. However, most people of European descent would basically be eliminated, which I fear, may be part of the plan.
nearest potential target for me is 29 km away… I would move away from the plume and wait it out
Kilometers? Klicks??? Are you Canadian? a Limey?
a Kiwi? an Aussie? And you talk shite about what goes on in the US? I personally don’t care. Look up the Russian Sarmat missile and its nuclear power. I don’t think 29 Klicks away will have you breathing post having one of them puppies land where you live.
Exactly. It’s all show. Trump isn’t prepared to end the world over Ukraine. Europe might be stupid enough though.
the only thing that’s gonna get ended is the Ukraine
whatever is left can be picked apart by its neighbors, many of whom could have legitimate claims on their own former territory
Yet another magatard
that the best you got, Veronica?
no input of any value, just venting your TDS randomly
pathetic
A dangerous game nonetheless.
Trump maybe not, but the City would rather Rule in Hell, rather than Serve in Heaven.
Seems like a fair statement to me
THERE IT IS
Hell is a habitable place. Know ye that ye are in it!
And it will remain the ultimate habitable place by default, for all mankind. Each man has to make his own heaven world, and by God that takes work! I don’t see much of that work taking place anywhere at the moment, but then we wouldn’t. That is hell for you. Building heaven is a private personal endeavour.
Find a place away from the world, a refuge in which to work your build. You have to leave this hell world by radical choice (I don’t mean death which is just a persistent illusion, something always happening to other people) and give up trying to turn the outer world into something it is not.
You really can just walk away but not until you have built yourself the place to walk to, including the path to it.
What hell is not and cannot be, is a radioactive wasteland uninhabited by its own natural flora and fauna- human beings.
Just saying.
Here is my wish.
I would prefer that this region where I live Scandinavia/Nordic region leaves NATO and sets up its own defense collaboration. The Baltic States could be included provided they also thaw relations with Russia and pivots away from conflict and confrontation to instead focus on collaboration, trade and cooperation that benefit all. I am sick and tired of this global hegemonic ‘rule them all’ game that leads nowhere but destruction and ruin.
There is a minor issue in Finland.
The Finns have always been nazi-friendly.
So have the Swedes, they’ve just been smarter about it.
And this little detail :
Ignorant idiots can be found everywhere but the megalomaniacs with their dreams of ‘ruling the world’ are a small minority and it is up to us (the masses) to make sure they don’t steal the reigns of power (again).
Göebbels got the swastika from Swedish Royals, and Black Sun found today in Kiev and Wewelsburg is from there too.
There is a religion, just not the usual target-practice religions.
An interesting history to that Wewelsburg castle. The appropriation of symbols is standard practice for the usual suspects. These types will “re-legion” under anything that works (du jour).
The swastika is an ancient sun (and bending the knee) symbol from South Asia. Still used. As it was/is in the Boy Scout movements. (Image source)
Drawing on the “Hindu” variant, likely inflowed with the Vedic invasions from the north (read ‘Ukraine regions’), which clearly pre-date any Jewish tribal narratives, we can see how the extant “small hat” crusader actor project will adopt and wear any costume that works.
One reason (perhaps) that India’s Modi has little issue with Netanyahu’s treatment of the “untouchable” Dalits in Gaza etc–that is, the likely remnants of the original Hebrew/Jewish exodus from Iraq etc.
My speculative bet on this topic is the likelihood of finding such ‘black sun’ symbolism in the excavated tunnels under the Al-Aqsa Mosque would be significantly above zero.
And the WACL’s Falun Gong, Taipei :
The PEF claimed to find something far worse under Sol-Amon’s tunnels, that the Templar’s knew well.
Hint – from these human sacrifice tunnels comes the “blood and soil” meme.
lol
I guess Swedish Royals inserted their symbology into Buddhism as well. Sneaky bastards.
No, they took Genghis Khan’s Bon-Po which became Tibet, the SS cult center.
Are you suggesting that it links back to prior-evolutionary events — perhaps including your “human sacrifice tunnels comes the ‘blood and soil’ meme” etc?
Cooking other people’s babies for ancient gods and their (priest’s) blood lust? (or iron deficiency)
[btw, some interesting notions in this recent “Blood and Ash: Ecological Collapse and the Rise of Human Sacrifice in the Ancient Americas” link]
There AI is acknowledged. Comparing late Rome to Mesoamerica, avoiding comparing Canaan at Sol-Amon’s time.
Trump needs to be removed from office for mental incompetence. He did not act like this in his first term. I do not know if he is merely senile or actually psychotic. Here is a list of things he has done:
* Threatened to annex Canada, Greenland, Panama.
* Actually renamed Gulf of Mexico as “Gulf of America.”
* Changes his policy every 24 hrs.
* Tried to compel a Brazilian court to reverse its decision by imposing sanctions and tariffs.
* Publicly humiliated king Abdullah of Jordan.
when you managed to get elected president you can immediately correct these errors
nothing wrong with publicly humiliating the “KING” of fucking Jordan
tough shit
Why’s that, Rusty?
This childish exceptionalist, chosen people attitude of considering other countries and whoever is leading them as only worth smashing up against the wall now and again to massage the fragile ego of those who think they are better than everyone else and who just have to be the biggest, baddest and bestest in their own head and in front of everyone else is pulling the USA and the collective West into the terminal decline it and its silly little cheerleaders such as yourself deserve.
Don’t bother waving goodbye, we won’t miss numpties like you.
the KIng of Jordan is just the latest flack from the Hashemite clan.. the brits wanted to put them in charge but the House of Saud won out
Jordan is just a bedouin desert with some tourist attractions
and the King of anything can kiss my ass
agree
I suspect there’s more under the carpet. I’ve seen several reports about Trump looking different at different times and even having altering heights. Same was the case with Biden who one day had detached earlobes etc. Things are not what we think.
he’s a pod!
“I suspect there’s more under the carpet.”
You’re right. Shape-shifting is a hallmark of the lizard people.
oh fuck here we go……..
All these years and you still cannot get irony.
Have you tried therapy?
for what?
I’m doing just fine, thanks
Netanyahu is the leering evil grin of the Polish-Bandera worldview.
This sociopath is the West Asian equivalent of the “North Korean” Kim myth.
Nuclear armed Israel (alleged) needs booting out of the UN. The China seat was handed from Taiwan to China mainland back in the Nixon era. The same principle applies to the (so called) Palestinian recognition as the place. A small recognized (1948-1966) province for Zionist Bronze Age dreaming perhaps retained. Thematically linked with the Russian Jewish Autonomous Oblast.
The flip-side of this Netanyahu is encapsulated in this pig-faced image (Netanyahu’s wife [Sara Ben-Artzi]) attached. [“Sara Netanyahu charged with fraud over catering allegations” 21 Jun 2018]
Is the UN worth salvaging? As with all these post ww2 institutions they only appear to be democratic and consensus driven but if you scratch the surface they’re nothing of the sort. Same with the EU that is an empire trojan horse.
the UN is not worth a damn thing
It is a creation of globalists who dream of creating a central world government, that they can then control
the Rockefeller clan has played a key and controlling role in this charade since it’s inception (first attempt under Wilson with his laughable “League of Nations.”
The land the UN HQ sits on was DONATED BY THE ROCKEFELLERS
who also sponsored the fucking CLUB OF ROME where the Globull Warming strategy was hatched
and created the Trilateral Commission, and then stacked the Carter administration with trilaterals
After Nelson Rockefeller failed in his determined bid to become US President (wouldn’t that have been nice)
For those of you capable of reading BOOKS I highly recommend “Rockefeller: Controlling the Game” for a good overview of the innumerable foundations, think-tanks and institutions funded and coordinated by the Rockefeller clan…. they are far too numerous to list here. All these organizations promote the Rockefeller agendas, and support
MALTHUSIAN ECONOMICSEUGENICSTRANSHUMANISM
Don’t get me started with the monarchies and especially the Rothschilds
fortunately for us, the rest of the world is on to that game… for the life of me I can’t understand why they continue playing, but the day may come yet…
With so many bees in your bonnet, you’ll think there would be more honey in your words. But no . . .
GLOBALIST, aka JEWISH CONTROL
Short answer, no!
“Is the UN worth salvaging?”
Well, its ‘used-by’ has clearly past.
However, what is the better strategy for the Global South (BRICS+)?
Walk out and demolish it, leaving a vacuum?
Or, actually take it over and reconstruct it from a global perspective.
For example, a Security Council that has flicked off the little Britain and little France non-event legacies, and actually instituted a global continental/civilizational mixture: a seat for China (East), Russia (North), USA (West), and three from the South — e.g., India, Africa, and Latin America.
I’d shift the HQ to be the core economy of a rebuilt Gaza.
eliminate the UN
there is no room for a central globalist government telling the whole fucking world what to do
Yeah! Who needs any kind of means for agreeing common processes, and laws for protecting civilians in armed conflict situations? Managing trade so everyone is on the same page? Ensuring common standards so everyone plays by the same rules.
Let’s operate on the basis of might makes right anarchy. That’s sure going to work isn’t it?
Just because the USA has misused international bodies like the UN, IMF, WB, WTO, ICJ, ICC et al and now finds itself no longer totally control the rules and how they are applied suddenly, quelle surprise, we have the mardy arses coming out of the woodwork to take their bat and ball home wanting to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Living proof that no matter how old some people are, they are incapable of growing up.
so tell me how those “laws protecting civilians” are working out in Gaza
all that preachy goodness about the UN helping is a crock of shit.
the idea is to get a world government that can tell everybody on the fucking planet how and where and when and why they can live
HINT: the big powers do NOT PLAY THAT SHIT
neither Russia, nor China, nor the US (or israel, or any other second-tier actors) give a FUCK what the UN tells them to do
they do not participate when it is not convenient for them
and rightly so
the UN is controlled – by the WEF and by oligarchs
the Rockefellers have basically devised the various agenda that have then been approved and adopted by the UN
representatives at the UN will do whatever they are PAID to do, especially after a couple glasses of champagne
AGREE
👏
How about create your own version, sans US.
The UN created “Israel” on stolen land. It was a fail from the start.
the brits created israel
see: Balfour declaration, approving a petition by a Rothschild
basically, the Rothschilds wanted their own country, close to the oil supply and with a mediterranean climate
The UN never “created” israel – Zionist terrorists created israel. This is a total misconception of what happened in 1947-8 time period. The UN proposal for the partition of Palestine was entirely, and specifically, conditioned on Arab approval. The Arabs rejected it, and at that point the zionist terrorists took matters into their own hands. Subsequently, zionist political influence gained the recognition of the new “state” by the major powers.
Palestinian land was outright stolen, and the rest is history.
Here is an excellent summary of what happened during those fateful days:
The Myth of the U.N. Creation of Israel | Foreign Policy Journal
palestinian land was to a large degree initially purchased with Rothschild funds, from people who didn’t even OWN it… clan chiefs… bla bla
a perfect example of the camel getting his nose under the tent… once you have a “legal document” you can start agitating
Good point. As with any structure, it is only as good as the people running it. When run by conniving and corrupt liars any institution can be turned into Sauron’s tower.
Correct. Russia/China want to keep these international institutions – just reform and reorganise them.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
idk, … but agree in principle.
Good men doing nothing etc.
Heinrich Himmler’s shut-down of his Wewelsburg castle project resonates. Same principles here, imo. They would rather destroy it (UN) than let it fall into global democratic hands/purposes.
not good men
power-hungry bureaucrats
And then it was restored at great cost immediately. Served as some kind of Internat – has anyone checked who disappeared?
The usual suspects want a New League of Nations.
They know we are stupid and gullible. That’s why they recycle the same old snake oil ads over and over. Have you noticed how they are trying to reignite ‘new’ pandemic pathogen threats again?
speak for yourself, please
They are really dumbed down, and project that onto the Global Majority.
For sure. The elites’ (I despise that term) due date has expired but they haven’t noticed and it’s turning into a tragicomedy.
The Bridal suite is reserved
Surfacing Ohio-Class nuclear submarines goes on all the time, at least 4 times since this in 2010 :
-These submarines—USS Michigan, USS Ohio, and USS Florida—revealed their presence in South Korea, the Philippines, and Diego Garcia, showcasing the Navy’s capability to operate anywhere and reminding China of the U.S.’s naval reach and readiness.
-Armed with nearly 500 Tomahawk cruise missiles, these submarines exemplified America’s power projection, a key deterrent as China’s A2/AD strategy increasingly challenges traditional U.S. naval operations in the region.
I’m guessing this will be another tempest in a teapot, like so many before that trigger everybody. It’ll get the neocons all hyped up, and their expectations will be dashed again. Next we’ll see some BS story where it all gets dialed back. There is still back-channel communication going on. Trump has confirmed Russia is winning, and that if Europe wants to keep sinking money in, it’s up to them, but the US is stepping back.
This, like most of Trump’s rhetoric, is just theater. Between the unreliable labor data that keeps getting adjusted after months of 6 sigma misses, the fight with Powell over rates, this is the expected distracting news. I’ll bet Putin got a courtesy call on this. Earlier we had the Russian planes flying through US airspace. I’m guessing most here blame Trump for that too. It’s all show.
Trump knows there’ll be no more golf for him or future for his grandkids if he starts a nuclear war. The word “projection” is key here. It’s all for show.
it’s a nothingburger
we have all these damn subs lurking around, gotta do something with them
this is media bluster on Trump’s part to impress weak-minded individuals
wake me up when somebody actually launches something… or when a sub runs aground somewhere.. which is more likely
The $64,000 question , did Trump order a Surface???
Maybe the air is too thick with Hazelnuts?
Adm. Buchanan would , just for the hell of it!
One thing that isn’t pointed out in the Dr.Stranglove” comments is that the whole scenario is caused by a “rogue” Air Force general.
Gen. Jack. D Ripper?
he was worried about his bodily fluids
So are the Falun Gong.
You can’t handle the truth.
Maybe president Trump wants not only some Nobel prizes, but also a Nero prize. I hope he will get neither.
By the way. I am living in Romania, and I also lived under Nicolae Ceausescu. I thought in that time, that I would never see so much adulation of the state lider in other country, especially in a western one. No, looking at the cabinet members of Donald Trump, I realized that I was wrong. At least, Ceausescu had built many things, trying to make from a relatively small country, a powerful one. Trump seems to do the opposite.
I don’t get why everyone is so focused on stupid Nobel prices? They are awarded by a bunch of old stale establishment types that care more about their own reputation than anything else and yes that goes for the Norwegian Committee as well. When I was studying in Stockholm way back I thought this was great and some sort of pinnacle of the academic world, today I realize it’s just another institution that is indirectly controlling R&D money.
“Everyone” is not focussed on the Nobel prizes – only Trump is, as a true narcissist would be.
Likely has more to do with trumping (no pun) Obama III. The thought of a “house servant” (polite version of Malcolm X) having a gong that (whitey) master can’t get, is just too strong. Albeit, I suspect it is just another flare distraction, and MAGA world-wrestling narrative, for a bored 80-year-old (8 year old) who does not want us plebs peering through his Epstein garage sale trash.
Mr Trump is uneducated mentally unstable a convicted felon an adjudicated sex offender a serial philanderer a compulsive liar a fraud who may be suffering from serious STDs that are affecting his senility-America must move to remove this madman before the nukes start hitting America
IMO, this is WWF-style theatre. Trump’s main enemy is the trans-Atlantic Deep State which mired his first Presidency in the Russiagate hoax, and tried twice to kill him to prevent his second Presidency.
Trump has zero interest in a hot war with Russia, and Putin knows this. In fact, Trump / MAGA’s enemies and Putin/ Russia’s enemies are the same.
No one tried to kill trump, God do some recent research
Gawd healed Donald’s ear in two days. It was a miracle. The guy on the stands shot from another angle needs to be forgotten now because Gawd is on Trump’s side.
Ask yourself this – How white are the hats that allow wars, killing, starving and bioweapons to continue for years?
I sometimes watch videos put out by Borzzikman on YouTube but I have no idea if they are accurate or not but they raise a lot of questions. His latest suggests Russia targeted a train full of western armaments and personnel arriving in Pavlograd Ukraine. If correct this suggests Russia is crushing NATO attempts to counter their offensive and could explain the frustration being expressed by the entire West although they obviously can’t express it openly.
I wonder what will happen when the general public learns just how involved and engaged most western countries have been in this Ukraine war/operation. Will they just shrug it off and not care? Ukraine/NATO is facing a humiliating and total defeat and no word of ‘anger/disgust’ is going to stop this. What have we become? It’s shameful.
Most of our population has become numb after decades of propaganda and won’t say a word, just trying to continue their lives, probably unconsciously aware that we are f*cked. Indivualism has isolated the society. Fear of cancellation, fear of losing all, keeps us from standing up.
“WE” are not fucked at all
you are just a whiney pessimist
if you give in to fear, you are something worse
Yes, the slow boiling frog syndrome or as David Icke expresses it – the totalitarian tip-toe.
Latest rant by Scott is spot on. Durak
I thought the nuclear subs were always in the appropriate positions. Does this mean that until now they weren’t? These things are armed and ready at all times, so I would imagine they are always somewhere close to where they would need to be. Then it starts looking like another of those meaningless comments of Trump’s, much like Medvedev keeps spewing. For all his inflammatory remarks I haven’t seen anybody accusing him of trying to set off a nuclear war. I guess the latest private discussions would be a factor if any heads-up were given. Bombs in the UK are no big deal, as those are old tech and touch to deliver these days.
If everybody knows/believes Trump can be triggered like this, is it not stupid for Medvedev to deliberately trigger him? And Putin allows it? If Trump’s stupid here, so are the Russians. I guess we’ll see soon enough.
Keep on your rose colored glasses
NATO, in the form of ahole Donahue started this whole circus by saying how quickly they could take Kaliningrad, talking about words and meaning. And now Medvedev is to blame?
Was the Russian plane intercepted in US airspace this week Trump’s fault too? This is a circus, a show, nothing more. For months it’s been “but, but, but, but, but, Trump” and what, nothing. He says dumb stuff that triggers everybody, and in the end, we’re all still here and things aren’t so bad. I guess everybody wishes Harris would have won and we’d be at the ass end of WWIII by now. This is just playing tough for the neocons to keep them off his back for a while. The underlying theme in Larry’s bit here is Trump is gearing up for a first strike or some nonsense like that. That’s just not the case, though it’s implied by the tone of the story.
A lot of people here would have preferred Harris
Yves Smith who features prominently on the right side of the page is a card-carrying liberal progressive who constantly promotes Pig Pharma and Green Agenda crap
Larry has a crush on her
STOP DEFLECTING ON HARRIS, no one said that but you magatards don’t have anything else so you use that. GROW UP
It might well be all for show, but responsible leadership in Russia can’t afford to assume anything but the worst and react accordingly. Such talk and resulting actions can lead to uncontrolled escalation.
Precisely.
The arrogant and ignorant evidence free subjective opinion that this is just a [checks notes] “circus”, a multidimensional chess ploy, to keep the neo-cons off his back is simply a coping mechanism of and for the terminally gullible.
The reality based community cannot operate on such a faith based approach. Not with a system which has proven time and again to be duplicitous, disingenuous, agreement incapable and forked tongued.
The majority of people are tired of these silly, pathetic excuses that attempt to paint a picture – with no substantive evidence beyond a puppy dog level hopium – of a POTUS committed to fighting and ending the Deep State when all the evidence points in the opposite direction.
Enough of this bollocks of pissing down peoples backs and telling us it is raining. The very concept of survival is at stake, and we have this third rate Leslie Neilson tribute act insisting “there’s nothing to see here.”
Go tell it to the marines.
👍👍👍
Trident II SLBMs have a very long range and could hit Russia from almost everywhere. But placing the subs closer to Russia could allow depressed, had-to-intercept trajectories.
It’s not the responsibility of Russia to kowtow to Trump’s delusion of grandeur.
Trump thinks this is make believe WWE wrestling. What’s scary is he acts like this is a game of egos, with Vince McMahon played by Putin. He may be ‘5-D smart’ in some ways as we have been encouraged to believe, but he is SO out of his league with the Russians it’s just embarrassing. The progeny of Ivan the Terrible must be shaking their heads in disbelief; one clown after another. Just sad. I really held high hopes for the Trump presidency. And Larry you are being proven correct on the Russians winning bigly in the Ukraine.
Putin is Not PLAYING GAMES !!!!
Amazes me how little you & Judge Nap know about Kaliningrad, Larry. Here’s a refresher:
https://jamesburrillangell.substack.com/p/strange-states-kaliningrad
thanks for promoting your substack again
I did not see that Kalingrad was the point of Larry’s post…it wasn’t even mentioned.
The link that you included as a Kalingrad “refresher” is VERY long, and more of a flood than refreshment.
Sorry~I wasn’t clear. It was Gen. Donahue that talked about Kalingrad, and Larry included Donahue’s remarks in the poat.
I wasn’t asked. What the hell are you talking about?
Exactly. Projection by someone who doesn’t know.
Scott Ritter laid it all out with the Judge.
Trump is now an existential threat to the planet and all life. Somebody needs to counsel him to STOP:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JdvV2ppoC5A
Trump as an “existential threat” is a little too dramatic from my point of view. Still, some of his tirades are worrying (I would exaggerate by saying they were frightening), given the fact that he is one person with the authority to start a nuclear war.
oooooh… “existential threat” good one
Russia is preparing to renounce the US-Russian Plutonium Management and Disposition Agreement (PMDA). The cabinet will consider the issue on 31 July. The agreement has been inactive since 2016, because the Obama administration tried to change the agreed-upon rules.

I thing it’s high time to explain Trump’s dilemma with rate earth minerals! The US don’t have any they’ve used it all up! The big bomb which nobody is talking about is that the US is depleted of missiles and their stockpile is showing it! But the big itch is that the US NEEDS rare earths to built missiles and here is why was the crazy idea of invading Canada and Greenland! The lack of all kinds of missiles is putting the US in a weak situation for eg like a US destroyer running away from an Houthi attack. It’s been Trump’s dilemma since he took power and it’s become a high security matter!
GEN Donahue was one of the strategic geniuses on the ground in Kabul during the successful “withdrawal”.🫣 In 1999 he was with 2/72 Ranger BN and getting them ready to go from FT Lewis to McCord AFB to Yakima was mind boggling 🫡
We “need” to have a nuclear war as soon as possible. China is producing warheads, missiles, and nuclear submarines at a higher rate than the US. This old graphic from the Heritage Foundation is designed to create panic, but it isn’t unrealistic.
In fact, the plot is optimistic because limited pit production will make it impossible to maintain the US strategic forces at the present levels of warheads indefinitely.

“We” being Gen. Donahue, and Adm. Buchanan.
Buchanan takes the ship’s biscuit.
Lyndon paid a stiff price for telling the truth
he went to jail under George Bush, Sr. “Poppy” Bush
Lyndon spent his adult life trying to educate americans about their own history
Brave man
I was reporting a “thinking” shared by some. Note that a war with Russia alone is impossible: China will have to be attacked at the same time, because it is already a powerful nuclear state and already dominates the Western Pacific in terms of tactical nukes.
When this “two-front” aspect is considered, a nuke war is not a great idea, but the situation will only get worse in the future.
You need to add the fact that no thought at all has been given in the US to plans for recovering from a nuclear exchange, at least not since the first few years of the Cold War.
Copied this comment:
“Trump has limited intellectual bandwidth and spiritual depth…our “democracy”, the line between Tweet and nuclear sub maneuver is only as thick as Trump’s withered cerebral cortex. There is no theory of politics in America. There is what Plato called a great beast (the irrational desires of the People) and someone who might be called the Beast Master”… but the word “Master” implies master and Trump has not yet mastered even himself. So, unfortunately, the most powerful nation in the world is like Washington Irving’s headless horseman. Powerful, but brainless, and like all such individuals and institutions, destined for destruction at its own hands.”
thanks for copying and pasting… without attribution, of course
so as far as we know, you might actually BE the source of that drivel
congrats, plagiarizer
It’s not just Trump that has lost it. Remember we have a Congress where 99% stood up a clapped like trained seals for a psychopathic mass murderer of a nation committing genocide.
multiple times!
Summary: Trump has no philosophical core.
I don’t imagine Trump has ever given any consideration to ‘philosophy’, although I can see him spelling it with two ‘f’s.
but you do
EM Burlingame understands NYC gangsters, like Trump

The FAA has identified some accident prone personality traits in pilots : 1) Machoism, 2) Impulsivity, 3) Anti authority, 4) Invulnerability, 5) Invincibility , & 6) Fatalistic. The problem arise if one or more of these is ‘dominant’. Trump seems to exhibit all of these, one after another. This makes his decision making capacity suspect. Sending submarines close to Russia is both aggressive and escalatory. It has to signal to Russia that the US has no intention of seeking a negotiated security arrangement. And Russia has to assume that an attack is imminent. The response has to be: More Oreshniks, full speed ahead. Trump must exist in a world of delusion. This was on display during his recent Scotland golf outing. He is incapable of ‘seeing’ that his cheating is recorded for all to see. The same with the lkead statistician. She didn’t drop the numbers in a place that he liked. My opinion now is Trump is deranged and dangerous.
you still don’t understand
Trump’s blustering is simply done to get YOU excited
the russians couldn’t care less
sending a couple subs somewhere – BFD
Trump should be aware that friends come and go, but enemies accumulate.
Trump is as dumb as one can get. Sure glad that I didn’t vote for him.
and yet he is still the president
oh, the irony
when you are so eminently qualififed
Does not matter if you did not vote for Trump as you, I and others might suffer the consequences of his inflated ego and god complex.
It’s a matter of leaving this life with a clean conscience.
Agree, I sat out the election for the very first time in 40 years
