The murder of Russian blogger Vladlen Tatarsky has led some Western pundits to pontificate that this is “evidence” that Russia’s policy towards Ukraine is facing growing opposition in Russia. Nonsense!
Please read Andrei Martyanov’s smart comment on this matter:
Before lamenting “bad optics” and jumping to the conclusions, including knee jerk reaction–how predictable–and calls for “flattening Kiev”, how about letting FSB deal with it first. Secondly, and most important, before anyone starts comparing late Daria Dugina to this “blogger”, they better get acquainted with his biography, including why he ended up in prison for robbery. But for people in the West who sympathize with early LDNR militias it must be understood that apart from heroism and dedication, corruption, money laundering and other unsightly things have been blooming in LDNR too. With the start of SMO, a huge number of military “correspondents” and bloggers, many of them originally from new Russia’s oblasts, started to dominate “narratives”, especially through TG channels.
What many forget that among those “patriots”, many, including Tatarsky, have been involved in large money collection operations “for the front”, and that once Russia started to tighten the noose around those “operations” the “feeding base” for this type of “activists” shrank dramatically. I omit here the fact that most of those “bloggers” and “voenkors” have zero military education and many are what Saker called them a “sixth column”, and many are straight defeatists or, like low lives Sladkov or Podolyaka, are completely off the rails. Tatarsky fits perfectly this very same group, which has some serious issues between them in terms of monetary issues–competition. So, keep this fact in mind and, please, stop idealizing LDNR, where even today the remnants of the “old guard” are being removed due to their corruption and inability to get incorporated into Russia’s administrative structures–a “heritage” of Ukraine. There is a reason why I do not read TG channels and bloggers, unless people ask to react, except for official TGs (e.g. Ministry of Foreign Affairs), or get information from people whom I know as extremely reliable, honest and professional.
I want to elaborate on a point alluded to my Andrei — “including knee jerk reaction–how predictable–and calls for “flattening Kiev”. This attack ignited massive outrage in Russia, and the Russian Government is playing it to the hilt. The Western and Ukrainian officials suggesting that terrorism in Russia is a viable strategy and tactic are ignorant and wildly off the mark. Need I remind you of the effect of the terrorist attacks on 9-11? The United States did not curl up into a ball and cry in fear. That incident mobilized public opinion to support U.S. Government actions to suppress civil rights, violate the Constitution and rally public support for military action overseas. (For the love of God, please spare me commentary on 9-11 being an inside job, etc. That’s not the point of what I am writing.)
Terrorism in Russia evokes a similar but more potent reaction — i.e., it strengthens Putin’s ability to launch counter terrorism operations and unifies the vast majority of Russians behind the current Russian military campaign in Ukraine. But the West is missing a more important factor in assessing the potential effect of terrorist attacks on Russia — Russia faced an unprecedented terrorism threat in Chechnya in 1999 and crushed it:
In 1999, the Russian government forces started an anti-terrorist campaign in Chechnya, in response to the invasion of Dagestan by Chechen-based Islamic forces.[50] By early 2000 Russia almost completely destroyed the city of Grozny and succeeded in putting Chechnya under direct control of Moscow by late April.[50]
Since the end of the Second Chechen War in May 2000, low-level insurgency has continued, particularly in Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan. Russian security forces have succeeded in eliminating some of their leaders, such as Shamil Basayev, who was killed on July 10, 2006.[51] After Basayev’s death, Dokka Umarov took the leadership of the rebel forces in North Caucasus until his death, owing to poisoning, in 2013.[52]
Islamists from Chechnya and other North Caucasian republics have been blamed for a number of terrorist attacks throughout Russia,[53] most notably the Russian apartment bombings in 1999,[54] the Moscow theater hostage crisis in 2002,[55] the Beslan school hostage crisis in 2004, the 2010 Moscow Metro bombings[56] and the Domodedovo International Airport bombing in 2011.[57]
The potential of a sustained Urkainian terrorist campaign in Russia pales in comparison to what Russia faced at the dawn of the 21st Century. Russia has a robust intelligence and counter-insurgency capability that is more powerful and competent than what Russia could do 20 years ago. If the West is banking on this as a viable strategy, good luck with that.
This also expose Western hypocrisy regarding terrorism. I am not aware of anyone in Biden’s Administration or in NATO condemning this attack. Instead, there is some quiet chortling. Just a reminder that “bad” terrorism is always in the eye of the beholder.
The Truth About Russia’s Economic Power: Is It Really as Small and Weak as the West Claims?
“The size of California?” Not a chance. Delve into the little-known nitty-gritty of Russia’s true economic size and productive potential.

OPEC + Cutting prod till end of 23.
Brent up at almost 86 usd https://tass.com/economy/1598267
What about Biden ‘strategic reserves, empty at 75% now? Any idea Blinken?
Oil cap anyone in Yellen brain? Failure.
Well at one point they used to call California’s economy the fifth largest in the world.
So the comparison is not bad for Russia
California based on fictive valuations of Silicon Valley firms……………and Long Beach as China’s beachhead
Yeah, I remember those days, in the Before Time.
When CA was riding high on the booming aerospace industry – planes, weapons, space it was a jumpin’ hot spot.
Then the bean counters had the brilliant idea of increasing the bottom line by sending the metal bashing & forming, then the wiring then the chips off-shore to somewhere cheaper.
Didn’t that work out well!
It wasn’t the bean counters. It was the CEO’s promising greater rewards to “shareholders, i.e., themselves.
Best to be clear about who is fucking whom.
I was involved in the high tech industry in California in the ’80s ( mid level engineer)
It was mostly the newly minted MBAs when that degree started to become popular. Recell MBA=BMW?
They managed up convincing the upper management that looking ahead no further than two quarters was good business strategy. Send the jobs to China, these jobs they eliminated were fairly high pay skilled positions.
Goose the next couple quarters, goose the bonus, go get your M-545 and bail to another company and destroy their long-term business in favor of the next few quarters. The CEOs saw seven figure bonus checks. Everyone is happy – for now.
Finance guys are the CEOs… back in the day corporate leadership was a mix of engineers and finance guys. Today it is all finance guys. Some of those guys do have engineering degrees but they have never worked a day in engineering. They went straight into finance jobs. This took off around 2000… same year US energy production stagnated and China went into an energy production boom. China does have engineers in corporate leadership positions…. and more importantly governmemt positions. Their green field industrial parks attracted new buisness by building all the utility infrastructure for all new large industrial manufacturing sites. The also offered a period of no taxation followed by another period of half taxation. The US “elite” were more than happy with this arrangement. I’m a 50 something electrical engineer who worked at 3 new facilities in China with 3 different companies. I’m back in the USA these days helping old plants limp along. Shocking to witness the lack of capital in the US compared to China. People cite the low labor costs but there is way more to it than that. The Chinese government and people want the business and do everything they can to make it as easy as possible. As far as I can tell the US governmemt would be happy if at least half the population just died so there would more assets to plunder and less mouths to feed. Whatever you do don’t take the vaccine. Lol
I recall when HP was an Engineering Company that also made good printers on Canon engines………
Oh and Rod Canion had an innovative PC business in CompaQ
Then it was Meg Whitman and suddenly crappy printers and death to CompaQ and indifferent computers
@Goldhoarder
Very true. I had been trying to find a manufacturer for a small automation related product. I designed it, built a hundred prototypes and had a customer who wanted to place an order for 250,000.
I burned up the phones trying to find a US manufacturer to make then for me. The few that called back wanted a minimum order so large it was insane.
In 2008 I was at the MegAsia trade show at the Hong Kong convention center. I had some of the prototypes and the specs with me.
Inside of 4 hours of being wined, dined, and played with free drinks I had 4 companies lined up to make them, the questions were literally “how many and what color”?
I have never seen such enthusiasm to fo business in the US.
They are going to take over and they will deserve to.
OPEC just sent a $ Trillion of more costs to the West, in support of Russia.
Japan is holding the next G7 summit in the radioactive U.S. created graveyard of Hiroshima.
Is a complete win when the West takes it’s last breath?
The attacks on the fully inhabited cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the firebombing of Tokyo were absolutely depraved. They only needed to test out their shiny new kill toys.
That is exactly what they are doing.
I get so tired reading and listening to all the expert financial gurus who think everything can be explained only by technical chart patterns and trend lines. According to them the OPEC production cuts is a reaction driven by market forces. Recent charts are showing oil/energy and commodities, especially copper, hitting resistance and rolling over. They say this is due to China having hit the wall, and so the predicted China boom many were predicting would lift global markets is not happening. They maintain China economy is contracting which they say will mean a deflationary impetus in America and elsewhere. Hence, according to all the chart gurus, OPEC is cutting supply to help stave off price drop that will result from drop in global demand.
Yet the technical chartists make no mention of the equally great likelihood that OPEC and BRICS are not only looking to optimize returns from their oil and gas exports but they are also seizing the opportunity to stamp hard down on supply brake in order to crush Anglo-American-EU economies. Although America does not seem to need any help in its pursuit of economic self-immolation and its clear intention to destroy the economies of Germany, UK and EU through its enforced sanctions compliance and blowing up Nordstream.
You have to wonder how otherwise seemingly highly intelligent people can delude themselves into believing that there is today any such a thing as ‘free market forces’ when there is such overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Current financial markets are far more influenced by human / organizational interventions, whether they be co-operating partners or competing warring factions, than they are the result of some amorphous god-like free forces at play.
The old adage “He who owns the gold makes the rules” needs to modified to better reflect current reality. The nation(s) which rule the roost today are those nation(s) which own and control the most essential commodities i.e. oil, gas and especially ‘rare earth minerals’, which are the most critical of all elements essential in the manufacture of modern advanced weapons and guidance / comms systems.
As of today, China accounts for 63 percent of the world’s rare earth mining, 85 percent of rare earth processing, and 92 percent of rare earth magnet production. Rare earth alloys and magnets that China controls are critical components in missiles, firearms, radars and stealth aircraft.
Two article worth reading on subject of rare earth minerals

OPEC and BRICS and all their resource-rich allies are in the commanding box seat.
The great war will be settled in the markets as much as it will on the battlefield of Ukraine and elsewhere.
In the great chess game being played out, one side is Gary Kasparov at the peak of his game, while the opposing player is a dribbling geriatric old fool who thinks he is playing a game of checkers and the winning move can be decided by pressing that big bright shining red button.
Oil finally made its move.
From 64 to 80 in less than 3 week is not bad.
When everybody is watching the oil price, it stalls (its a quantum mechanic principle LOL)
Oil Price expected this year:
150
My understanding is that the Brandon admin has set the price target to refill the SPR at ~$70 a barrel. Everytime it gets close to that oops! Something happens like OPEC cuts production and the price goes up again. https://www.cnbc.com/quotes/@CL.1
Almost like they are playing him
Wouldn’t you play him?!
I would.
Seems to me one of the goals of Russia/China BRICS/Global South is to make themselves “sanctions protected”.
My fear is that Sen. John Warner and Co. want to whisk through The Restrict Act in order to usher in a full U.S. totalitarian state:
https://rumble.com/v2f6k52-senate-anti-tic-tok-bill-is-patriot-act-for-technology.html?mref=jcwo5&mc=2sdbb
Imagine. One false move anywhere on the internet in the U.S. and you can be arrested, given 20 years in prison, a $1 million fine and all your property seized.
All being done while we are distracted with the Trump Circus.
It would be very interesting for The Duran and Larry to do a podcast with Edward Snowden on The Restrict Act.
And Lindsay Graham is such a liar that he told Jesse Waters last night that he didn’t realize he was a co-sponsor of this un-constitutional, totalitarian piece of legislation!
Wake up America!
Interesting perspective and valuable insights from Martyanov.
With respect to US hypocrisy, there is an interesting story from Turkey on the US Ambassador meeting the opposition party leader just before the coming elections. Imagine the outrage if the Russian Ambassador had been meeting with Trump before the 2015 US elections.
Same is happening all over
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his doors were closed to U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Geoffrey Flake, who met with opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
“Joe Biden visits Kemal. Be ashamed, think with your head. You are an ambassador. Your interlocutor here is the president. How are you going to get up and ask for a meeting with the president? Our doors are closed to him, he can no longer enter. Why? He has to know his place,” Erdogan was quoted as saying by Turkish media on Sunday.
https://obektivno.bg/erdogan-vratite-mi-sa-zatvoreni-za-poslanika-na-sasth/
Hmmm, funny you can’t trust Ambassador Flake.
nomen est omen
nomen est omen
I assume his assistant is Ms. Bimbo.
That got a laugh out loud from me.
It means ” he is true to his name” in Latin. Flake… Get it.
It means ” he is true to his name” in Latin. Flake… Get it.
Indeed we did. This is not the Daily Mail comments section, after all.
Flake is practicing obama’s former braindead ambassador to Russia,McFaul’s methods of “diplomacy.” Meet with the opposition and get kicked out a few months later as persona non grata.
As Larry noted recently, one cannot fix stupid, particularly in the us state dept. It seems that there is a competitive race to the bottom in levels of stupidity.
This senseless heinous attack shows us only the desperation in the global west
I’m sure it’s going to get even more ugly
But this will only strengthen the resolve of the Russian people
And in finland another one bites the dust….
The Elensky curse like Alex from the Duran likes to say😁
Thanks to Freddie mercury – who foresaw all the idiots taking a bite:
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I’m gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
Is he referring to Joe Bidenopolous in the “Hey, I’m gonna get you too”? I hope so.
👍😁
The attacks on the fully inhabited cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the firebombing of Tokyo were absolutely depraved. They only needed to test out their shiny new kill toys.
Let me recount.
The US financed a ZIO-NAZI coupe against the elected government in Kiev.
NATO built up the Ukrainian army to fight a Proxy war against Russia.
NATO supported the NAZI battalion in killing 14000 civilian ethnic Russians in Ukraine.
UK + Norway sank the pride of the Russian Black Sea fleet, The Moskva.
UK commandoes bombed the bridge to Crimea.
US and Norway Bombed NS1 and NS2 in the Baltic Sea.
NATO is supplying Ukraine with Military officers, Tanks, Artillery and Fighter jets.
And now Western intelligence expects Russia to go on a worldwide killing spree:
Because 1 War blogger was assassinated?
I guess that If you are a Warmonger that would be the only logical conclusion.
Biden is an international terrorist, famous for having blown the Nord Stream pipeline.
It is therefore not amazing that Biden and his coterie of fellow international terrorists (Nuland, Sullivan, Blinken) would not condemn the latest terrorist attack in Russia, just as they did not condemn the murder of Darya Dugina by ukrozionazi agents of terrorism.
Well said. May Triune JEHOVAH defend and strengthen Russia and its people against the Satanists in the West. Amen.

Petersburg, TERRORIST attack. Wagner is in central Bakhmut. Military Summary And Analysis 2023.04.02

The man was much more than a blogger. Vladlen Tatarsky served in the Donbas militia 2014 -2019, surviving Givi, Motorola, and Zakharchenko. It is because of such rough working class Russian Donbas patriots that there was still a Russian speaking, Orthodox Christian DPR left for Russia to annex in 2022. When the SMO started, Vladlen returned to the Donbas as a war correspondent bringing the stories of the frontline fighters to the larger audience in the RF – who had largely ignored the 8 years of struggle in the Donbas – while chasing western pop culture, video games and consumer goods.
Yes, there were plenty of college educated soft men in Donetsk with no criminal records in 2014, who did the prudent thing and fled to cushy office jobs in Russia. (Many of them probably later fled Russia in 2022 to avoid mobilisation.). We are meant to think better of such selfish cowards?
Both Maria Zakharova and Yevgeny Prigozhin have paid tribute to Vladlen. Personally, the posthumous cheap shots being taken at Vladlen by soft handed critics who have never faced active combat duty disgust me. The critics are not worthy to polish Vladlen’s well worn boots. Vladlen was not a perfect man, most aren’t, we are all sinners here. But Vladlen is with God now, and all his sins are forgiven. God Bless his soul.
I would not try and excuse corruption but I think that corruption is part of the course when a country is between a rock and a hard place. Donbas was under threat of invasion and was also effectively blockaded by its enemies so unemployment and shortages were inevitable. That corruption would be inevitable is as sure as sun rising every morning. It partly solves the issue of supply but also makes some people wealthy. So, I think Martyanov is a little harsh on Vladlen and people like that. Only thing one can say is that people like that should change their behavior once situation changes as has happened once Donbas was incorporated into Russia.
If you want the name Fomin, nicknamed Vladlen Tatarsky, to stop remembering his real sins, you don’t need to ascribe to him non-existent feats and glorify his personality. Leave it to the Judgment of God.
What matters in this story is that Fomin died as a result of a crime – a terrorist act directed against everyone present in the cafe and against Russia as a whole. No one should be allowed to commit lynching with impunity.
Thank you, 5EH. The toughest European partisans who fought the Nazis during WW2 were communists. They were not perfect, many perhaps most of them weren’t even “good” people.
And they were definitely not like that despicable person Martyanov who fled Russia for the West as soon as Russia got into economic hardship. Now he sits on his fat ass in the safe US and talks big about the Great Russian Combined Arms Operations that never come. He’s been wrong about most of what would happen during the war. But zero humility and zero understanding of what goes on in the trenches. Only endless tirades about how stupid everyone else is. Yes, he fits perfectly into the US.
Brave words Gog, probably from a non-combatant but if you are a point of contact veteran I will withdraw. Andrei has always offered to take anyone on in a debate so given your low based ad-hominem attack have the guts to take him on. Oh by the way I am a returned combatant, prepared to listen to reason from any side but not petty rants like yours. As JC said ‘let he without sin caste the first stone”.
Like a lot of Europeans I did my military draft, no combat duty. Everything Martyanov says about NATO’s deficiencies rings true from what I experienced in the nineties. But what was true then or during the cold war is irrelevant to this war. Martyanov is stuck in the cold war. His unlimited praise of the Russian military command is nowhere mirrored on today’s battlefield. And as he says, he cannot stoop to the level of actually reading what happens down there in those muddy trenches.
The heroes in this war are the LPR/DPR forces, the Chechens and Wagner. Try to imagine what the war would have looked like without them. Russia would have been tiptoeing along the northern border. The RA has of course a crucial supporting role (artillery, aircraft and most of all missiles). But the real work is done by those Martyanov doesn’t find worthy of studying.
The Russian military command that Martyanov never ceases to glorify has been less than impressive. Some examples of RA’s exploits: Russia intelligence before the war: Fail. The huge encirclement of Slavyansk via Kharkov: Fail. The bold attack on Ugledar: Fail (commander sacked).
This war is “boring”. The biggest game changer might be something as boring as the reduction of artillery response time from 8 minutes to less than 2 minutes. Way below Martyanov’s dignity.
But you’re obviously proud of your combat duty. Assuming it was for the US/NATO, did you get a nice collection of civilian scalps? Or maybe even a goat herder scalp? Should I thank you for your service?
Gog
Your bypassing the Western Maginot Line, built to bomb the Donbass, and defend against Russia, built over the past 8 years, beggars belief.
Russia does not do BlitzKrieg (the U.S. version is called Shock and Awe) where innocents are deliberately and wantonly killed.
Russia, with the Russian instruments available to them, are bleeding out the West. And all the countries that have been dissed and damaged by U.S. arrogance are helping Russia directly or indirectly.
Let the American People gain control of their own country first, before they offer help and advice to others.
Other! In a war of artillery and attrition, the heroes are the infantry?! For whom NATO engineers undoubtedly prepared the battlefield for 8 years with endless lines and rings of defense in depth with steel and concrete bunkers, trenches and supply tunnels to kill thousands of ruskies every day! And surprise, surprise, the SMO ruskie did not send waves of human infantry with open chests to face the trenches as the ISW says, but rather endless 155 mm artillery shells, surveillance and kamikazes drones, air bombs, rockets and missiles by air, land and sea much more powerful !
Any line of defence or any city, where however brave combined arms and stormtroopers that in the end clear the trenches and cities, who’s shapped and softened that them up in the first place? Fields and infrastructures? 85% of casualties in this conflict never see an enemy soldier as the AFU itself began to recognize from Pesky! One of the largest open air slaughterhouses in this proxy war!
And Wagner, always Wagner, always Wagner fascination!! Almost always to try to take credit away from the Russian army. But who is Wagner? Who trains, equips and commands Wagner? The cook who got promoted to PR? Or Russian General Staff Commanders like any BTG in the first phase of SMO and now any Russian division? And the same for Chechens, LPR and DPR during SMO! Who commands the French Foreign Legion in combat? Or even the Blackwater companies? Now after several scandals, Academy, despite a completely different private reality, why is the US today obliged to wage wars just to feed the private MIC? But in combat, don’t they all obey the same Mission Command and Control?
Wagner is a fully integrated force in the Russian Armed Forces regardless of its legal structure, as befits Russia in many conflicts! As in Donbass after the coup! And also fighting in Africa and the Middle East because Prigozhin has big plans for a Russian food catering franchise in Africa and the Middle East to rival Kebabs? The French Foreign Legion is undred times more enigmatic and I guarantee there are few conflicts on earth with western forces where the French Legion does not pass before the conflict reaches the media! As in Donbass almost certainly. By France, NATO or any Western Govt. And do you also really think that half of what Prigozhin said in this conflict corresponds to reality? When Russia opened the Avdeevka front a few kilometers further south it completely coordinated with the Bakhmut front in the commitment of AFU troops!
You make many incorrect assumptions. I was at the pointy end in Vietnam on too many occasions. No civilian scalps, just NVA. Take up the challenge, ask Andrei to debate you.
Errata: Of course Russian artillery is 152mm.
But infantry is always sexier! And with a name like Wagner even more. The problem is that even the AFU recognizes that 85% of casualties never see the enemy. Just to give an idea of the true planners and heroes in the shadow of conflict! Gunners also have to hire a PR with the charisma of Prigozhin or Kadirov!
P.S. Not wanting at all, of course, to take any credit away from the assault troops or any regular infantry force.
I agree with you 100% he was a very courageous man who died for a cause he believed in – the right to self determination of the Donetsk and Lughansk republics. A terrible way to die but all his efforts will not be in vain as mother Russia grinds toward inevitable complete victory over the Nazis in Ukraine.
Truth be told, he’s a guy with flaws and not the greatest poster boy for the cause.
This bombing means nothing, less than a gnats fart in a hurricane.
Tragic for those involved.
Stalin had a memorable quote on this.
What happens is, as Alastair Crooke already wrote this week, the West is completely caught in its web of lies. That cannot spend 1 year telling everyone that Russia is a gas station with the worst army in the world and after 1 year that worst army defeated 8 years of NATO work with its greatest force in Europe and all weapons of the collective West!!!! With an always very small force and an unbelievably performance! Just the amount of men that the Russian assault forces must have annihilated in a city like Bakhmut that has always been known to be the biggest line of defense in Donbass must be simply unthinkable!
The disinformation campaign or propaganda has always been the main bet or the great wunderwaffe of the West to conduct this war! In the West to get the fundamental support of public opinion with the lie of unprovoked war to gather all military aid for Ukraine. And in Russia to destabilize Russian society along with the casualties of the conflict they anticipated and the difficulties of sanctions that would lead to a regime change in Moscow. The #1 objective of the conflict! That totally failed!
And as the defeat is more and more evident and I am one of those who think that the AFU can no longer continue after Bakhmut, at least in conditions to challenge the Russian force and it was enough to see the apprehension and fear mirrored in Zelensky’s face in the last AP interview on a train. Where it clearly stated that there was nothing left after a defeat at Bakhmut! Where the best that could happen to Ukraine was that Russia was still willing to negotiate!
And the same in the US in the lack of harmony in the last week between Milley in Congress and Austin in the Senate who both just coincided with their eyes on the ground in shame! And as it’s getting harder and harder to escape reality, this is getting really chaotic! From the ridiculous attempts to try to diminish the reach of the Russia meeting in the face of all the great global transformations that are impossible to deny. And even after Xi Jinping’s last sentence to Putin was published, “Change is coming that hasn’t happened in 100 years – and we are driving this change together”. How is it that Western Govts take off this boot when today it is not Ukraine that is the biggest loser but the US? Will NATO resist this further humiliation? Regardless of the EU it may even suffer more economically if it does nothing in the meantime.
And the same for all the people who spent 1 year believing all their Govts’ lies. Even today on twitter there are more and more people who really believe that Russia has two armies?! One said that it was Shoigu who killed the blogger because he supported Wagner!! I think that many already just want to believe in anything however surreal because they simply can’t stand the truth! That Russian assault forces supported by the regular army without almost resorting to new mobilization defeated 8 years of NATO work in defense ring Soledar Bakhmut! And to swallow this pill, the more you distance Wagner from Russia, the easier it’s! Wagner now came down from space and trains on the moon!
“Milley in Congress and Austin in the Senate who both just coincided with their eyes on the ground in shame!”
I didn’t see the vid, but if true that is a good sign. Also of Yelensky showing fear.
It can take a 2×4 over the head to break through, but once it does…Reality Bites.
One said that it was Shoigu who killed the blogger because he supported Wagner!!
It is possible.
You should know that Russian traitors felt they needed to kill Kirill Stremousov before they were safe to pull out of Kherson. They killed him, then pulled out a few hours later. They made a big fuss about his killing in the western press, and noted that the pullout was only hours after his death, as if there was a direct connection.
I don’t know why Kirill Stremousov was killed or who did it.
The official story is that it was an armored car accident.
“Just the amount of men that the Russian assault forces must have annihilated in a city like Bakhmut that has always been known to be the biggest line of defense in Donbass must be simply unthinkable!”
Yeah, sure, sure.
So simply unthinkable,… as to be simply unbelievable,… and simply stupid.
“Just the amount of men that the Russian assault forces must have annihilated in a city like Bakhmut that has always been known to be the biggest line of defense in Donbass must be simply unthinkable!”
Alas, all too thinkable.
As you surely recall:
‘Forward’ he cried from the rear
And the front rank died.
And the general sat and the lines on the map
Moved from side to side.
If the leaders on all sides had themselves (or their children) to fight, it would stop in an hour.
It’s disgusting.
Great post.
“ The disinformation campaign or propaganda has always been the main bet or the great wunderwaffe…”
I think we are about to witness the new NATO strategic weapon: the wunder-waffle
Macron about to do the Shanghei shuffle, while wunderwaffling to fame and fortune.
Let me just recall a saying:
“What goes around, comes around.”
Or this:
“Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”
Or ‘Be nice to people on your way up; you’ll meet them again on your way down.’
After the terrorist campaign against The Syrian Arab Republic, nothing surprises me!
BTW. Excellent piece by Alastair Crooke here:

Well worth reading.
Brilliant article. Strategic Culture has been added to my reading list. Thanks for the link
When I heard about Russian blogger Vladlen Tatarsky being blown up (by a woman no less), I immediately thought CIA. Russian or US CIA didn’t really come into play. There’s a distinction between one Stasi and another anymore?
But being blown up by a woman? That really caught my attention. You have to admit that women have really been making their presence felt in the violence department, lately. And not just trans women.
We are told that women by their very nature are not supposed to be violent. They have to really be pushed to pick-up an axe and hand out forty (40) whacks. But women are peacemakers. I don’t know if that is in the same spirit the Convair B-36 “Peacemaker” a strategic bomber was. Or how the 1873 Colt single action revolver was known as the “Peacemaker.”
Who knew women, as Arlo Guthrie put it, “had veins in their teeth and ate dead burnt bodies.” Who knew? “I mean, kill, kill.” Who knew? So much for sweetness and light.
And the Ukrainian woman who attempted to assassinate a Russian philosopher but killed his daughter instead. Or the Ukrainian woman who was killed in a Jerusalem terrorist attack. There’s actually quite the list. Look it up.
The women are really making their presence felt.
So, when I hear things like “Russia has a robust intelligence and counter-insurgency capability that is more powerful and competent than what Russia could do 20 years ago” I get all suspicious. I think of women and the CIA, all the CIAs. Are women doing the countering?
As long as competency rules over power, maybe. Once power takes over for, and takes the place of competency, then things go really, really, like totally, bad. Especially for women.
“… Once power takes over for, and takes the place of competency, then things go really, really, like totally, bad. Especially for women …”
Especially for women … and men …
Why not ask Fanny Efimovna Kaplan – she was Ukrainian or maybe Lidia Konopleva, ?
Why not ask Sophia Lvovna Perovskaya ?
Really, really good examples.
You have to wonder if what we (especially men) are being told about a woman’s nature is just more propaganda. A “Fog of the Sexes.”
I wonder where American women, ideologues like Victoria Nuland, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters (with her “Sith Smile”), Dianne Feinstein, AOC, Ilhan Omar, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, former New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern, and now former Finnish PM Sanna Marin, figure in with all this violence.
Obviously, women can’t handle advanced citizenship. Unless violence, intrigue, assassination, murder, sabotage, wanton and open acts of criminality qualifies.
“Obviously, women can’t handle advanced citizenship …”
Well, at least, they can handle being Queens of Egypt:

Or simply Roman Empresses:

Oh, yeah. Because that whole thing with Mark Antony and Cleopatra worked out so well. He threw himself on his sword over her. She didn’t do much better, letting the vipers loose on herself. All because neither one of them was minding the store of their relationship.
I have been noting for some years now about the hardening of women. Look at the tone of the women in power positions in the Biden regime and in the EU and member countries…cold and callous…I believe that it is a result of the 60/70s femlib movement to make men more like women and women more like men. The initial goal had been to break the barriers to entry into non-traditional female jobs but, like all movements, it was taken over by radicals.
How many men are now verbally abused by women, both in the office and in the home? Women were supposed to bring a softer approach and different viewpoint into the office. Instead, they over-exceeded being “tough” and now come across, to me, as cold, barren, calculating excuses of womanhood.
I further see the trans movement as the final attempt to destroy not women but men…
For some reason no-one ever sees the connection between the contraceptive pill, which is basically a hormone treatment for women, and the more aggressive nature of women that has developed to the present day. Maybe it would be too hot a topic for anyone to go there.
Change a person’s chemistry, particularly the endocrine system, and you change the person. It explains a lot.
That is some choice paranoia. “Now, that’s a thought that’s going to fester.” I salute you. Pilots, flight attendants, and professional athletes everywhere just pressed the “pause” button.
It’s not paranoia if they really are changing your body chemistry. It’s even closer to the realm of reality where spike proteins change a person’s very DNA.
Notice. No brackets.
Reminds me of Kipling from 1911;

Remember the Beslan school hostages, the apartment bombings, the theatre hostages in the early 2000s after the Chechen wars? We can expect terrorism and partisan/guerilla type warfare for years to come. There’ll be plenty of crazy Ukies who’s dreams of a “glorious Ukrainian destiny” have been shattered and are slavering for revenge.
It took a decade after WW2 to bring the western Ukraine’s Nazis to heel. The FSB/MVD et al have a big job ahead of them that will take several years to complete. I’m sure they’ve been planning for it for at least a year, and one can hope they’ll have realized what a mistake it was in the ’50s to try to assimilate them into society.
Fortunately the USA has no domestic terrorism………..just random shootings which FBI assures everyone is a “one-off” or “rinse-wash-repeat”
INDEED!!!!!
Just minor incidents… Nothing to see here!!
Just like the Oklahoma city bombing.. The FBI handled the situation perfectly..
The public quickly discovered the truth ( as always!!).
Mr Terrance Yeakey could have provided some new details.. But he never will..
Probably irrelevant story just like the laptop!
We can expect terrorism for years to come. But will the terrorists be in Russia, or in the EU where those who betrayed them came from? There are many accounts of Stingers going awry, and while one Stinger may not be that useful against the Russian Air Force, it can sure ruin your day if you’re on the passenger flight it shoots down.
I don’t think it’s one or the other. I expect terror attacks in Russia, Belarus and in Europe, but also within/between the various Nazi factions in UA.
The Ukraine Project is more than a century old and millions have invested themselves emotionally in its success. Watching it be destroyed by the very enemy that they’ve focussed their lives on hating is going to be a pill too bitter to swallow for many of them. They will blame everyone but themselves, including allies who “didn’t help enough” and compatriots who “didn’t hate enough”.
As for your Stinger scenario, it wouldn’t surprise me if that is what the Euro-weenies intended. Reducing air travel is a major part of the Green Agenda, don’cha know.
Experience indicates that, in this conflict, an outrage of some sort is triggered to distract from very bad news at the front. QED the western Mob are very concerned about a possible collapse of the Kiev regime army.
And they should be as it’s quite clear Ukraine will collapse later this year or next and it will cease to exist as a state. The Russians will quite rightly annex it and hold trials for crimes against humanity of the Nazis in Ukraine if they haven’t been allowed to escape by the West to seed another future war. That will undoubtedly happen and probably already has happened to a large degree, but it won’t work.
What army? They have mostly forced conscripts (abducted in daylight from streets) send to slow down Russia’s military advances. They once **had** some sort on an army, which lasted about 6 months of the SMO.
“THE WEST PUSHES A NEW TERRORISM MEME IN RUSSIA”
This is a component part of their hopes which they deem to be “strategies”; attempts to poison the well as was the case in “The Indian Wars” since it was always someone else’s fault – we always meant well, presently a fall-back component of divide and rule for a section of their target audiences, including stay behind viruses cultured by the number of deaths to be blamed on The Russian Federation, when “The United States of America” temporarily exit, to be re-activated on their return as was/is the case in Ukraine from 1947 onwards.
For another section of their target audiences, primarily but not exclusively the folks back “home”, this is hoped to catalyse speculations to re-inforce illusions of the internal destruction of The Russian Federation, and thereby to further increase the encouragement of increasing number of deaths to be blamed on The Russian Federation – The Roman Empire fertilising the fields of Carthage with salt, “The United States of America” fertilising the fields of the world with cadavers.
In relation to Mr. Tatarsky Mr. Martyanov has outlined some contexts
https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2023/04/to-those-who-worry-about-optics.html
refers, including tangentally to why the entry into Donbass was not done in force in 2014 due in part to the purposes of some of the LDNR militias.
Mr. Tatarsky shared some practices with Mr. Nemtsov – namely inability to keep his trousers on and his hands in his pockets, and hence the pool of his potential “assassins” may be extensive and not restricted to The Russian Federation.
Off topic, but, related to the Russia – China alliance and the new multipolar world order and well worth a read.

Oil finally made its move.
From 64 to 80 in less than 3 week is not bad.
When everybody is watching the oil price, it stalls (its a quantum mechanic principle LOL)
Oil Price expected this year:
150
That is just the response to those geniuses in EU and the US putting a cap on the price of crude-exports of one member of OPEC+. They were warned what will happen. Now they will pay for their utter stupid move.
Terrorism goal is to send a message. Usually , organized states already have lots of other channels to pass some messages.
This is a murder with some explosives. This is how a mafia works. Nothing much “terrorist” in that.
Sometimes states “agencies” works like that too, but they tend to not letting the executioner being caught by police the next day. If they are … be wary, someone played the terrorist music for you to listen to it 😐
More nonsense:
MELITOPOL, April 3. /TASS/. Ukrainian militants attacked the head of Akimovka in the Zaporozhye Region, Maxim Zubarev, by blowing up his car, Andrey Siguta, the head of the Melitopol District, said on Monday.
“Today, an act of terror was committed on the head of Akimovka, Maxim Zubarev. Thus, they (the Kiev regime – TASS) have renewed efforts to intimidate locals,” Siguta wrote on his Telegram channel.
Prior to all this, there is a Security meeting set.
Maybe it’s time to upgrade to Counter Terrorism or straight up declare war.
With Russia leading Security Council this month, they are surely being pushed and tested. The West desires most of all world wide condemnation or at the very least to drag Russia to their level.
Russia is in a tough spot. It was excellent the Prigozen did what he did as far as flag raising, however symbolic, as it gave the Russian people some immediate vindication, but I’m not sure how much longer Putin will be able to keep a lid on the Russian populace cry for blood.
This is exactly what the West wants to foment in Russia, a dissatisfied populace with Putins SMO.
I think the statement in the near future from the Security Council meeting , which they already were meeting for some reason b4 this, will tell us all a lot.
“For the love of God,please spare me commentary on 9-11 being an inside job.”We are talking about terrorism, aren’t we?They could not explain two facts so they just ignored them.#1,Never in the history of highrise steel framed buildings ,Not one has collapsed due to fire.#2,Building 1,2,and7 all collapsed at free fall speed.9-11 played out exactly like the Lone gunman, magic bullet assasination of JFK.Conspiracy theory my ass!
A very sad, tragic event in the life of a very patriotic, courageous man who fought to retain the right of his people to choose self determination for their future. His dreams of that were achieved in his lifetime, but I am sure he wanted to see the results of the end game when Russia completely flattens Ukraine and rids the country of the evil Nazi scourge. The hypocrisy of the United States in funding a Nazi regime is well documented for the world to see and remember forever. And the defeat of NATO (once again) will demonstrate to the world conclusively how advanced, powerful and determined are the Russian society. The best political leader in the world from a military perspective is Vladimir Putin with Xi as his counterpart as the greatest leader of the greatest industrial power on earth. They created an invincible partnership the West can never destroy, only winge and whine about being losers.
This is all I’m gonna add:
The warmongers got the Patriot Act
Those same warmongers got an excuse to go on a worldwide killing spree to remove a lot folks they wanted out of the way .
“For the love of God, please . . .
Hilarious.
Thx for all u do.
Someone explain to me. Militarily speaking, why did SMO need to assault Bakhmut, rather than simply surround it and trap the 10-20K defenders inside it?
Street fighting is brutal and costly (especially for attackers) and I presume (but obviously don’t know for certain) that Russia would have a much stronger advantage fighting in the open fields around Bakhmut.
Gog, you fail to notice the contingency approach of RA. It went into Ukraine with the purpose of showing it meant business – to enforce the Minsk agreement, vs. capturing Ukraine. Nobody normal would count on the other part doubling down on stupid and really wanting the world war. Definitely, not the country that lost 27 million in the previous world war. The main mistake of Putin was to miscalculate the unscrupulous of Ukraine’s government to sell his own people to the slaughter house and inhumane nature of NATO. But once the Russians saw it, they adjusted the approach. Let’s judge the result by the lives saved, and going slowly, RF gives the West enough rope to hang itself, have governments changed, and its economy collapsing, and with the Western people coming back to their senses. Would it all occurred if RF grabbed the entire Ukraine in 3-4 months, how would probably justify how you would have defined success?
You flatter them by calling them warmongers. They are psychopath and a typical psychopath has no plan. They just double down on destruction and scapegoating others until taken to woodshed and forced to quit. It is obvious to the World that the Western leadership is nothing more than a nest of psychopath.
They just keep exposing their own lies. Is the France of today a democracy with shorty ruling it.
Russia has shown at least one thing. It cares about human life in conflict, something the West hardly ever consider. What am I talking about? Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Dresden.
I have great respect for Andrei Martyanov but learned the hard way that he sometimes protests too much. I certainly don’t consider people like Alexander Sladkov, and Yuri Podolyaka to be “low-life”, and wonder why Andrei feels the need to label them this way. As for Tatarsky, I do not have an independent info on him, so I don’t know what rating he deserves post-mortem. One thing about what Martyanov says merits special attention, though. I believe it has to do with the decision to incorporate the new territories seized during the SMO into Russian Federation (in preference, say, to create a new federated state entity out of them, on the style of Bangladesh or South Sudan). This appears to be directly informed by the worry in Moscow of the local “agendas” and corruption in Donbas. There is also the precedent of Yugoslav wars where the aims and “methods” of the local administrations in Pale, Banja Luka and Knin, were for ever at loggerheads with Belgrade. The local bickering and war profiteering had a big negative impact on the Serbian effort to hold the federation together.
Thanks, Jiri, for the first part of your comment. A. Martyanov, a baby-boomer Soviet refugee comfortably situated in the US, having abandoned his country when it needed him most, now slanders those who acted in the field because they have the temerity to criticize aspects of the SMO rather than accept the Kremlin’s words as gospel. Isn’t it interesting how deeply ingrained Soviet habits of kowtowing to authority persist despite opportunistic capitalist relocations?
I believe in an admittedly somewhat simplistic analysis that almost all that is superficially wrong with America can be traced to the moral and intellectual bankrupting of the so-called Ivy League and a few other educational institutions in America.
Conservatives and the like love to focus on these places as sources of cultural rot, but they seldom acknowledge them as sources of idiocy and incompetence. While it is still possible to some degree to gain great wealth and influence in pop culture or business without attending these institutions, it is nearly impossible to do so in government or the diplomatic corps.
And the complete arrogance and lack of self awareness with which America conducts its international affairs is EXACTLY what one would expect it one took young people of above average, but still relatively mediocre intelligence and raised them on a steady diet of telling them they were exceptional without demanding any real achievements and then turned them loose on the world. Take Victoria Nuland for example. She has been a major player in US foreign policy since her early 30s. What life experience did she have then to make her opinions valid and considered? What was the result? Twenty years of disastrous and ham fisted policies in the Middle East and this mess in Ukraine.
Our elites not only all come from a handful of schools, they are uniformly idiotic and incompetent. Dealing with America in any situation these days is like playing chess with pigeons. Its as bad domestically for normal Americans as it is internationally for other countries. You simply cant win because the people in charge are too stupid and arrogant to even realize when they’ve lost. They just move on to the next failure while padding their resumes and bragging about their past “successes”.
You clearly have not attended those “handful of schools” and do not know how this game is played.
US is run by cliques. It starts with where the parents work, what schools they attended., how they met. Harvard daddy meets Wellesley girl at Sorority Party – or something at Hasty Puddy Club. Date, mate, and work in New York in different offices but same pay bracket……..socialise with similar ……..move to CT when children arrive – then look for a job in Boston with occasional shuttle flights to NYC.
Children to Phillips Exeter – meet friends for life – on track for Harvard or even Stanford interview. – do Harvard first then grad school at Harvard………
Selection by parental school and income bracket ………. potential donors………and by the time you are in Harvard your Weltanschauung is fixed – you gravitate to “follow in footsteps” or “rebel” – either way there is a Club/Fraternity catering to your preferences with friends who will ease your way through life…….
So you are Black, Jewish, Hispanic, GLBTQ+++…….plenty of cliques for you to join and advance your career…….
The least blue-chip go Grad Schools at Harvard used to be the B School because you had to have work experience……..but since it set out to buy progeny of Chinese and Russian donors…….it has turned into a Finishing School for Rich Kids……..like much of USA
Not sure how you statement disproves what I said. They are marginally intelligent, supremely arrogant, mostly in incompetent, and almost entirely in control of our government.
Not “marginally intelligent” at all. “Assortive Mating” ensures they are intelligent but lacking in awareness……..
They are arrogant because they know they are “better”
If they truly faced competition they would not be so arrogant
But 90% Americans could simply not compete
Totila, your analysis is excellent and spot on. Today’s Ivy League colleges and other centers of so-called “higher learning” are pagan, anti-Protestant Christian secular humanist indoctrination centers. Should you want to find some of the best definitions of what an education is supposed to be (from a Biblical, Calvinist Protestant Christian perspective) read Dr. John Robbins’ introduction to Dr. Gordon Clark’s brilliant work, ‘A Christian Philosophy of Education.’ As far as what passes for “education” here in America, students mostly get fed intellectual, liberal poison — and Liberalism is the ideology of the insane… and the damned. It is a deadly, Satanic virus of the mind and soul that destroys individuals, families and nations here on earth… and fatal to all souls beyond the grave.

One personal disappointment in the more recent referenda in ldnr vs 2014 was that the ballots were not bilingual.
In other news, Ukrainian Air Force ace pilot, that got shot down by a Geran drone, complains about Russians not fighting fair:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/04/02/ukraine-fighter-jets-f-16-russia-setting-traps/
The article is comedy gold.
“We had a list of the most advanced pilots who could be trained on F-16s and unfortunately, some of them have already been killed in action.”
“Most advanced pilots and engineers are already undergoing intensive English lessons so that they can understand their instructors if the time ever comes to be trained on western jets.”
“Sometimes we can’t even see that the Russians have launched missiles, which is very dangerous for pilots.”
are already undergoing intensive English lessons
You are joking !!!! It is 8 years since the US Coup. It is 32 years since 1991 Coup.
International Civil Aviation Language is English yet Ukraine is only NOW having “English lessons” for pilots !!!!!!!!
These people are Jokers
If you think that’s bad wait til you find out most of them can barely speak Ukrainian
Ah ah VNe
LOL
Being shot down by such a slow speed drone is quite an achievement!
Next time, the Russian should use a kite!!!! or trained pigeons.. Whatever!
SO UNFAIR!!!
“Unprofessional.” Isn’t that the word?
Accurate!
Joke goes even deeper than that. His callname is Karaya. That callname was uses in WWII, on the Eastern Front, by Nazi Germany. Karaya One was Erich Hartmann. According to Wipedia, he is “the most successful fighter ace in the history of aerial warfare”. This discount Karaya probably has a score of about -1.
Very well documented!
Tight competition between Voroshylov and the Ghost of Kiev!

Ukrainian “terrorist manual”: 7 important coincidences in the murders of Vladlen Tatarsky and Daria Dugina
It seems that the special services of Ukraine began to act according to the same “terrorist manual”
SEARCH A WOMAN
As in the murder of Darya Dugina, a woman was used to attack Vladlen Tatarsky. She turned out to be a Russian citizen, 26-year-old Daria Trepova. The Ukrainian special services make no secret of the fact that they actively use in terrorist attacks not only intelligence officers and saboteurs (Dugina was blown up by the ex-employee of Azov * Natalia Vovk), escorts, feminists (Trepova also joined the latter).
Earlier, the head of the SBU, Malik, noted that female agents of the Ukrainian special services show “aerobatics” behind enemy lines, and some have already “passed through plastic surgery, changing personal data.”
RENTING AN APARTMENT NEAR THE VICTIMS
For Vovk, they rented an apartment in the house where Daria Dugina lived a couple of weeks before the murder. This made it easier to follow the victim. Trepova also moved at the end of March from the Moscow district of Medvedkovo. She was rented not the cheapest apartment in St. Petersburg – a “kopeck piece” on Vasilyevsky Island, 500 meters from the cafe, where she will take the bomb.
INTRODUCTION TO NOT CAUSE SUSPICION
Vovk came to Moscow with her little daughter, so that no one would have the desire to once again check her documents, stop, find fault.
Trepova attended Tatarsky’s lectures and even handed him postcards. This was done in order not to arouse suspicion on the fateful day, to appear to him and the entourage of the military correspondent as a familiar fan.
BOMBS WITH RADIO CONTROL
Vovk mined Dugina’s car for her crime. It could be activated by anyone from the control panel or telephone. But, most likely, Vovk herself did this, following Daria’s car.
Trepova also brought the bomb – handing it to the military commander in the form of a statuette. The bomb, judging by the explosion, was shellless – so as not to ring if the guards at the entrance to the cafe forced her to go through the security barriers with it.
And the bomb went off only when Trepova left the cafe. This means that either the terrorist herself gave the signal to blow up, having gone out into the street and called. Or an accomplice who perfectly saw (heard) what was happening inside the cafe and outside.
APPEARANCE CHANGE
Vovk changed her appearance during her trip to Moscow – becoming either a blonde or a brunette. She even used colored lenses.
Trepova also cut off her hair by 20 centimeters immediately after the attack in order to become less recognizable.
“SUPPORT GROUP”
A whole group of accomplices helped Vovk to change the numbers on the car, got new documents, rented an apartment, organized a retreat after the terrorist attack.
Trepov was clearly led by the team in the same way. After all, the bomb in the form of a figurine was clearly not made by her herself.
In addition, on the eve of the terrorist attack, Daria told friends in Moscow that “I found work in St. Petersburg for Ukrainian journalists. That the task was sent to her directly from Ukraine. And the work is connected with the delivery of parcels from hand to hand, for which she receives money on the card.
ATTEMPT TO HIDE ABROAD
Natalya Vovk crossed the Russian-Estonian border after the terrorist act (changing her appearance once again). She then did not have time to put on the wanted list.
Trepova had a ticket to Uzbekistan. Moreover, a late flight – on the day of the attack. That is, the escape route was thought out. But broke. The terrorist was identified too quickly, her name began to circulate on telegram channels, and, of course, she would have been detained during passport control.
* A terrorist organization banned in Russia.
Oblomovka – I agree with the above, Vovk and Trepova significantly differ in their ranks as terrorists. Vovk is indeed a pro, an operative, fully aware of her task, doing whatever it takes (even exploiting her own child for her own safety), and professionally escaping after the act. Trepova, most likely, is just a mule, who served her master thinking she planted with Vladlen a listening device embedded in this stature. In the video of the last pre-explosion moments, Trepova (using a fake name Nastya (Anastasia)), after she handed Vladlen this stature, actually accepted his invitation to sit just steps away from the bomb. -I don’t buy that she knew it was a bomb. Her handlers cruelly used her as a pawn, and also her first words to her friends on the phone right after the explosion were, “I was set up.”

Ol’ reporters, wasn’t The Reds a movie about American journalists swooning and feeling the exhilaratioin of revolution? Yes, the dis/mal/dys/mis information cycle is in FULL BLENDER mode. Popkov- this guy looks like a relative of Beria or Yuval Hariri(isn’t that the name of ‘sploded former Lebanese leader, with a BU bldg named after?)-shiney effeminate w/ slender fingers holding a cigarette a la Peter Lorre. 9/11 was an outside job, those planes did not come from the inside, OUTSIDE!!! Flown by Mormon widows, perhaps uncle Schmitt could negotiate for us, he did bring us Romney Care:)
Arrested is Daria Trepova who said said that she was an artist and gave Tatarsky a figurine that she had made herself. Five to ten minutes later there was an explosion. She was detained near the Parnas metro station with tickets to Uzbekistan with her.
In social networks, the girl is a member of at least two groups associated with alcoholism and drug addiction, and was also interested in the topic of oncology and LGBT.
I am through with Martianov`s pettiness. His smug attitude and whitewashing all ALL of Moscow`s mistakes, short sidedness and yes, sins.
My ears are closed for his drivel from now on. I remember, when he lovingly desribed the closed channel comm. and command system called “Azart”, except failing to mention, that it exists only on paper – and the General responsible of implementing and populating units of RF with it – is under arrest. Right NOW. He is as much of a system shill, as any in the “west”. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on. Next time I will listen to him is when he moves to Russia.
As to Max Fomin: Why him? Why not any of the others? The patriotic opposition – of which a new group has been formed recently named “pissed off patriots”…Strelkov et al.(possible exception of Grubnik&Co.)
`Cos he was effective. He`s been travelling across the country marrying the problems with the possible solutions. He has been factual in naming the issues, be that the immigrant situation, the shortcomings of the process of the mobilization, and the SMO in general – all that, without going to excess. He was an effective conduit between the below and the above, aside from being an interesting communicator to us, the average Jack`n Jill and Ivan`n Olga…
I will miss him, his input dearly. Condolences to his beloved.
R.I.P.
I won`t miss Martianov.
As to the larger picture – yeah, it is a civil war. Made interesting by the intimate involvement of a certain tribe, that is not known for self restraint in anything, but can not be mentioned in polite society…
And therein is the rub.
Left unsaid: It’s a good bet that we were funding an arming the Chechen separatists.
Vladlen Tatarsky (R.I.P.)

This terrorist event is the wheelhouse of and fits the modus operandi of the United States and tis puppet Zelensky.
Kill the target and potentially take out innocents (women, children, anyone) in the vicinity.
After Ukrainian terrorist strikes, the Russians usually launch a few Kinzahls on some « high value » targets in Ukraine. Expect the same in the coming days….
Martyanov’s cold denigration of a dead man, whether well founded or not, shows a complete lack of class and crassness that makes him look cheap, childish and desperate.
Cheap in any dignity towards the dead, childish in behavior and desperate to write off someone’s murder as a justified or downgraded act. Noting this is someone he has never met and does not know.
Ugly to read.
All of us can have a bad day, a wrong opinion..
It is up to us to decide how we react! We should strive to avoid childish behaviour! Fine!
Here is another POV :
Forgiveness is a sign of maturity or maybe even wisdom..
We will rarely meet young kids or teenagers who would even consider the possibility of forgiving.. I can be wrong on that…
What is the outcome of a systemic lack of will to forgive?
Something like this :
Never read Plato or Aristotle BECAUSE these ancient greeks were pedophiles!
Never read books like The Social Contract BECAUSE J. J Rousseau was a misogynist!
Never read about Newton BECAUSE he was a white supremacist and a fanatical religious bigot!
Just highlighting here three typical chapters of the Woke Handbook!!!
If someone digs enough, there will be no book left to read…
This being said…. You are 100% free to boycott Andrei M and also to disagree my words!
With respect!
This was a CIA sponsored terror attack and EVERYONE in the Kremlin knows it.
“Measure for Measure”
Larry. Your thoughts on the great counter offensive? Will it happen as Dima thinks? https://rumble.com/v2g1yuw-the-ukrainian-offensive.-wagner-controls-80-of-artemovsk.-military-summary-.html
Well if this one terrorist act is going to strengthen Russia’s will to fight so much, just think how much the daily Russian terrorist attacks on Ukraine strengthen the Ukrainian will to fight. Imagine if the Ukrainians destroyed a theater full of children, like the Russians did in Mariupol. How would the Russians react? Then ask yourself why would the Ukrainians react any differently. The theater attack, and all the hundreds of Russian atrocities that followed, have strengthened the Ukrainian resolve to continue fighting and killing Russians and to never surrender their country to Putin.
You are repeating Ukrainian propaganda that has been exposed as lies. Why?
It is not their country. The land they are soaking with their blood is owned by foreing companies. They are fighting for Wall Street, and their own lifetime debt slavery. How dumb is that? Would you do it?
LOL!!!
You forgot to mention that the Russians sank their own Black Sea Fleet flagship!!!!
What else Kadyrov is responsible for blowing up the North Stream pipelines?!!!
Prigozhin organized the attack on Crimean Bridge!! GO FOR IT!

Nah. Astrologers can occasionally get some things right, by pure chance.
Indeed!
Ron should never pay attention to the astrologers…
He will rather continue to rely on CNN, ukro-TV and his friends Flash and Tinky Winky!! We are forced to assume that Ron is the dumbest ( by far ) of the so-called DREAM TEAM !!!!
But Hey what do we know?!???
Oops!! I also quoted Andrei…..
“a theater full of children”
And puppies. Lots of puppies. And kittens too. All of them Ukrainian speaking, and thoroughbred in Lavov. And a pregnant woman from the famous photo. No baby pandas, though. Xi Jinping would not approve.
Now that I think of it, this should be added to Putin’s case in front of that clow court. He should be charged for evacuating kids from the battlefield, and not evacuating kids from the battlefield, at the same time.
LOL
Your last line is currently under study by the ICC expert lawyers!
They will soon start writing a report.. First step is (for them) to get rid of their straitjackets..
After giving it some time to think about it, my conclusion is that the perpetrator that delivered the bomb knew what she was doing. Being the person she was, she would never attend an event like the one at the restaurant, other than to disrupt it. She would never want to be in same room as Vladlen and would likely cross the street so as not to walk past him. Her political activism places her directly opposite of Vladlen or most Russians. Whether she knew how the bomb would be activated, is hard to say. Quite possibly she was told that bomb would go off much later as her handlers would have had to preempt any doubt she may have had given the number of potential victims. It is likely that bomb was activated remotely and I doubt that her handlers cared much about her life. She was a willing participant but not necessarily a willing victim of the bombing itself. Ukrainian government has a track record of assassinating people and did so during the 8 years of war in Donbas and even now, every few weeks there is an attempt on life of people it accuses of treason, specifically the officials that now run administration in various cities in Donbas. In all this, Western governments mostly stay quiet and if anything will deflect from criticism by insinuating that these bombings are merely internal power struggles within occupied territories and not the work of Ukrainian government. Naturally, MSM is their messenger.
The Russians point to the Ukrainian SBU but this smells ultimately of an Anglo-Saxon operation behind the scenes. Of course Russia will not want to go there but the Khordokovsky link goes straight back to the UK and to Biden personally. Biden was sponsoring resolutions on Khordokovsky’s behalf while he was still in the Senate. Moreover the snickering reaction in US official press outlets smacks of the Nordstream reaction. How many times do these people think they can play “Who me?” after an event like this? What countries would have easier access to the Navalny operation? Ukraine seems like a willing tool.
This is reinforced by Milley’s statement that the Ukrainian’s today are the “children and grandchildren” of the people who fought Stalin and Zhukov after 1945. American policy is to reconstruct the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) with all of its terrorist, Nazi and genocidal implications. Straight from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs no less.
I wish I could say that Putin is wrong when he frames this conflict in existential terms. If we get through this most people will never realize how close we came.
“This is reinforced by Milley’s statement that the Ukrainian’s today are the “children and grandchildren” of the people who fought Stalin and Zhukov after 1945.”
This statement got way too little attention. The guy openly endorsed Banderites (aka Ukrainian Nazis), and no one seems to care.
As to my comment to this blogs criticism of Russia and especially Pres. Putin when this story first broke. I stick by my comment and others that were of the same opinionNow MoA has given us all a formidable degree of justification.
Larry got this one wrong and should let that beknown:

Ukraine is engaging in state sponsored terrorism – targeted killings of Russian, non-military, media and cultural figures, in the capital of Russia. First, the young journalist and political science graduate, Daria Dugan. Who was stalked and murdered with a car bomb, by a militant ASOV affiliated Ukrainian female, a Ukrop SBU controlled operative, who then fled to sanctuary in Austria. That attack was intended to kill both Daria and her more famous father Alexander Dugin, but failed as he wasn’t in the car. Now, the war correspondent and media pundit, Vladen Tatarsky. Who was again stalked and murdered, this time with an IED hidden in a plaster statuette presented to him, this time by a Russian female, a classic ‘useful idiot’ groomed from the ranks of the Russian ‘Nalvary Opposition’ supporters, duped and controlled by Ukrop SBU, and left holding the bag. The Ukrainian state security services are engaged in identifying prominent Russian civilians, who are soft targets without state security, who support the SMO, and targeting them for extra territorial assassinations inside Russian territory. This is pure state sponsored terrorism. Using the classic hallmarks of terrorism – car bombs and IED’s. Joining the dots, in bigger picture over last decade, this is interesting, as the western sponsored ‘FSA’ militants in Syria were trained to do exactly the same thing. That is, to target mid level Assad government officials, with lesser security protection, inside Damascus, in the government district with car bombs and IED’s from 2012 onward, as the conflict escalated. Traditionally, terrorism is what rat tag non state actors do out of impotent rage – only here, the Ukrainians are a nation state actor, with state security agencies, and with access to US satellite and electronic eavesdropping technology. But nothing gets said in western politics or MSM – because these all remain under the control of long standing western Russophobes, who seek the destruction and dismemberment of Russia (and, of course, are the same folks that also sought the destruction and dismemberment of Syria).
A word on two on Andrey Martyanov: I read his column and appreciate his expertise. I enjoy his insights. But. Andrey evidently belongs to the class of people who thinks because they are smart, everyone just has to be stupid. And what irritates me most is that he badmouths not only people who are frankly hard not to badmouth but some figures who bring solid value to the war info space. Sasha Sladkov (voenkor for Rossyia 1) has been a fixture in the frontline reporting, and while his folksy style is not that of the academy, he has won popularity for his hard-nosed, and gutsy approach to the news. Yuri Podolyaka, I have followed since the start of the SMO, and find him one of the most diligent and conscientious blogger. His work invaluable because he is usually the first one who presents serious issues of the Russian military (like the horrific losses from drone attacks on truck convoys last spring, and the debacle of “unprotecting” Izyum in August). For Martyanov to call these two “low-life” is disgraceful. Sladkov has been a military correspondent for many, many years making a name for himself in the two Chechen wars and Transinistria. Podolyaka operated from Sumy at the start of the SMO but relocated to Belarus on the advice of Russian intelligence. Because of his impact and substance he has been a target of the SBU. Neither of these men have criminal records, nor have ties to corruption in the two Donbas republics, TMK.
