Volodomyr Zelensky got the bad news in Vilnius — notwithstanding lip service from some of the NATO members — the United States and Germany are refusing to let Ukraine join the club out of fear of broadening the war with Russia. Make no mistake — NATO is at war with Russia, but the West is cognizant of its military weakness and is not willing as an organization to risk taking steps that would provoke direct fighting between Russian and NATO forces.
However, France and the United Kingdom, acting independently of NATO, made a foolish and dangerous promise — they are going to provide Ukraine with long-range cruise missiles that can strike inside Russian territory. We have reached the point in this war where the West is struggling to come to grips with the fact that its gift of tanks and weapons to Ukraine have been a total bust and panic is setting in.
I encourage you to view the Wall Street Journal video that Andrei Martyanov posted (I can’t figure out how to post it in Word Press). At least two American Generals (retired) who have been some of the most ardent cheerleaders and spinmeisters for the Ukrainian offensive are admitting grudgingly that the operation is a bust. That is putting it mildly. The Ukrainian troops, along with their equipment, are being smashed.
Russia is no longer crouching in a defensive posture. It launched its own counter offensive and is enjoying success in pushing Ukrainian forces back:
🔹Fighting continues on the frontline. In the #Starobelsk direction, the RF Armed Forces were able to advance in the area of the Zhuravka Balka and the vicinity of #Torskoye, and also foiled a massive attack near #Dibrova. In the #Bakhmut sector, Russian troops conducted a counterattack near #Kleshchiyevka and also repelled an enemy attack in the vicinity of #Berkhovka.
🔹 Fierce clashes are taking place in the #Vremyevka sector. Ukrainian marines are trying to advance in the area of #Priyutnoye and Grushevaya Balka, where they had previously managed to gain a foothold in plantations. At #Rabotino, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked north of the settlement, losing armoured vehicles supplied by the West.
🔹 In the #Kherson direction, Russian units continue to fight Ukrainian saboteurs who have landed on the islands and under the #Antonovsky Bridge. According to some reports, a railway bridge was blown up north of #Alyoshki.
I anticipate that Russia will intensify its attacks on Ukrainian positions at key locations along the 800 mile line of contact in the next two weeks. While NATO is scrambling to provide Ukraine with actionable intelligence to try to damage the Russian capabilities, Zelensky and his Generals confront a harsh reality that first class intelligence is useless if you do not have the manpower or equipment to make a major dent in Russian defenses. Ukraine’s military grows weaker with each fruitless attack.
I agree with Andrei that the promised escalation by France and the U.K. is likely to provoke a Russian response. It is one thing to covertly provide more sophisticated lethal weaponry to Ukraine. Recall that the Soviets did it to the Americans in Vietnam and that the United States did it to the Soviets in Afghanistan. Both the Americans and the Russians quietly agreed to live with those actions without risking escalation into a direct conflict. They continued to have normal diplomatic contacts and negotiated arms control agreements in spite of the covert proxy wars. Each side knew what the other was doing but each side also took steps to try to hide their actions.
What France and the U.K are proposing is an open provocation and, if carried out, represents a direct attack on Russia. Putin and members of his national security team have signaled clearly that there will be a response. This means we are entering a very dangerous phase in this war because the frantic desperation of the West is leading it to entertain military operations that will elicit retaliation. Russia is not going to consent to being a punching bag. At some point I anticipate that Putin will order the Russian military to start shooting down sophisticated U.S. and NATO ISR drones and disrupt, if not eliminate, the Elon Musk’s Starlink network. Russia also is likely to attack and destroy Joint and Tactical Operation Centers in Ukraine as part of its overall effort to degrade Ukraines ability to carry out offensive operations.
Russia reportedly hit Odessa’s port yesterday (Monday) with a missile strike as a prelude for ending the grain deal and asserting its control of the Black Sea. That will be a blow to Ukraine and Turkey and there is little the West can do in response without creating a casus belli for Russia to hit targets where NATO advisers are located.
We are at the moment I have been very apprehensive about. It needed to happen but I wasn’t sure if I would recognize it if/when it came. We are here.
“We have reached the point in this war where the West is struggling to come to grips with the fact that its gift of tanks and weapons to Ukraine have been a total bust and panic is setting in.”
100% This……Now we are in very dangerous waters IMO. There’s not a lot of good options for Globohomo. Here’s a great piece:
https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/the-blob-begins-to-quiver/
Kunstler is always talking La-La-Land sh*t.
For years now we’ve had to listen to Kunstler go on and on and on about how special councils Richard Burr and John Durham and Robert Mueller were supposed to be the great saviors of democracy.
And how did that work out?
“A long list of public figures populating the Blob await a reckoning: Hillary and Bill Clinton and their retainers, Barack Obama and retinue, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, Christopher Wray (plus Rosenstein, Strzok, McCabe, Carlin, Ohr, Mueller, Weissmann, Horowitz, Atkinson, Ciaramella, Vindman), Rep. Adam Schiff, Senator Mark Warner, William Barr, Avril Haines, Marie Yovanovitch, William Burns, James Boasberg, Marc Elias, Michael Bromwich, David Laufman, Alejandro Mayorkas, Xavier Baccerra, Anthony Fauci, Rochelle Walensky, Francis Collins, Lloyd Austin. Mark Milley, Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Ron Klain, Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney… the list goes way on, but there’s a start.”
Justice? Consequences? Ain’t never going to happen. The list is only going to get longer. What does wanton and open criminality mean when everybody is doing it, and getting away with it?
Hi buddy, I posted this comment here before, so I reiterate:
While RF & colleagues have no DESIRE to set foot in North America, they WILL if that’s the ONLY way to solve the problem.
We have choice: either allow the neocon cabal to continue lording over us, or to vote them out. When you cast your ballot, do it in this vein-“Let’s Go Brandon!”
Remember, we the American people have the power.
I am not sure what planet you live on, when you say “american people have the power”. if that was so, FJB should never have occupied the WH along with a whole host of parasites.
Well, POTENTIAL energy. Power only shows up when the juice is turned on, and put to use.
There is a difference between having the power and exercising it. Americans have the power if they choose to use it. So far they have been sitting passively. Not using their power is not the same as not having it. People get the government they allow, seldom the government they want.
Well… remember your fellow citizens
Wikipedia say: Democracy … is a form of government in which THE PEOPLE HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO DELIBERATE AND DECIDE LEGISLATION (“direct democracy”) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy
“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” — Abraham Lincoln https://www.rutherford.org/publications_resources/john_whiteheads_commentary/overthrow_the_government_all_the_ways_in_which_our_rights_have_been_usurped_short
You, as people of USA, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
We will not be voting out way out of anything – if voting worked, it would be illegal, you can be sure of that.
I think the only things left to effect change is “Helicopter Democracy”, a la Pinochet.
I’m ready to roll the dice and vote Kennedy. Let’s see if the Deep State will go for the trifecta for Kennedys.
It is not a question of power but mind control. The public have been given a choice listen to the MSM or conspiracy theories. Everything contradicting MSM is false and supports Russia. I have experienced this frightening scenario within my own American family. They are intelligent upper middle class doctors, artists etc. They have written me off as a Putin loving conspiracy person. Frankly there is little hope for the minority (me) to succeed.
US elections are so rigged and easily with electronic machines that even the designers admitted it to congress . Voting is done
Democracy is done , and only mass strikes , mass protests etc would have any chance to effect the swamp. 250 yr low .
Not true. Turnout is so low usually that Democrats created software to harvest votes and mobilise their cadres. Voter registration systems are incomplete and corrupted and voting itself is so perverted that it is no longer a secret ballot.
The change needs to come at state level and to start taking control of states and then forcing a Convention on the federal regime
not if you all keep voting for a democrat or republican. In terms of actual delivered policy, Trump is only a more coherent Biden.
@Oso
Very accurate statement, it’s mind boggling to see some people still put their hopes in Trump. Like the saying goes…same shit, different pile.
Hi Y’all
Just want to thank you 4 the vigorous comment debate in response to my post.
👍🏻😀
respect, sir!
No you don’t. We don’t. Not as long as Dominion Voting Systems has the power.
Very true. There is only one way to take your country back from the Arrogant lunatic grifters that are destroying a once great country….Turn off the Lunatics lantern/ TV.
Open your ears and wake your brains up.
Take politics SERIOUSLY. It can change or end all our lives!
Little “Napolean” Macron the Second just put both feet in the Ukraine “scramble.” The UK already has its “membership” card.
Kunstler is full of shit. I have been reading him for, I dunno, 15-20 years, and it’s always the same, “doom is upon us” and “there will be a reckoning”, both of which never happen. He is the proverbial broken clock, correct twice a day, but totally ignored in the real world by people who can see the clock is broken.
I lke his wordy style, but his bullshit just grates on me now.
Many point to him as a “great thinker” which he may be, but his track record of futility just shows the emptiness of that “great thinking”.
Kunstler lives on hopium. I have yet to see one single prediction of his work out. He was I recall totally confident that Bidet would step down as a candidate in 2020.
Target!
You listed most but not all of the traitors/treasonits….
Well stated and agree there will be no accountabilty
If Russia defeats Ukraine it will lead to the end of NATO.
It will also accelerate the financial end of the US, as Nations abandons the dollar in international trade.
The BRICs Nations have started to dump their trillions in US bonds, and send all their holdings of dollars back to America, stoking hyperinflation in America and bankrupting The US.
A bankrupt US, UK and EU can’t pay its military and agencies.
Imperial wars of aggression.
A +600 year old conspiracy for world government hangs in the balance.
The western Elite want to rule the world but don’t have the power to pull it off.
Retired American Generals are now admitting that the Ukrainian troops and NATO equipment are being smashed in Ukraine. And now Russia has launched a counter offensive.
That is why the US and Germany are refusing to let Ukraine join NATO.
However, the Rothschild controlled France and UK will continue to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles.
Russia will most likely start shooting down US and NATO ISR drones and eliminates the Starlink network.
Russia will also most likely destroy the Joint and Tactical Operation Centers in Ukraine.
On the National political front:
In America, the crimes of the swamp are finally tipping the national consensus against treasonous politicians as the mainstream media are starting to turn on the swamp in a desperate act of self-preservation.
In France Macron has come under the threat of collapse of his government, caused by self-inflicted invasion.
In Germany the AFD is surging in the polls across all of Germany.
In Finland several parties are congregating to oust the NAZI puppets in Helsinki.
Then it was Pedro Sanchez’s government in Spain who lost its mandate to rule.
Then it was Mark Rutte’s government in the Netherlands that fell.
There have been big economic shift in the past year.
The FED February raise of interest rates convinced the markets that Powell was serious.
The ECB was forced to follow the FED and raise rates.
That ended the liquidity for Eurodollar Futures Contract.
That also ended the survival of the Dollar hegemony.
That set in motion a big sell-off in US treasuries.
Then a few bank failed in the US and Credit Suisse blew up.
Last week bond action pushed the US 10 year above 4%, and the FED did not step in to save the US.
Capital is demanding higher rates while the Capitol Hill is trying to spend the US into a debtor’s prison.
Once the European sovereign debt bond yields rises further the Fiat gig is up.
Inflation is roaring throughout the west.
Oil prices are rising with Brent’s knocking on $80 per barrel.
Energy prices are starting to rise in the EU as we turn toward winter.
US gasoline prices are going to rally this fall.
Germany’s CPI was 6.4% this month while the Bundesbank needs a massive bailout.
The US CPI is forecast to be 3.1%, but the market believes that Powell will raise interest rates in two weeks, even with a recession hanging over the horizon.
And that would pressure the yield curve even more.
The wars by Washington, London, and Brussels are costing the Empire politically, economically and in prestige. The loss of the Empires wars of aggression + having driven the West into a full-blown debt crisis will be the end of the +600 year conspiracy to rule the Globe.
We are living in historic times.
That is why the NATO tapeworms are dancing as fast as they can. They know the racket is over when it is abundantly obvious that all their fancy weaponry and fearsome statements are bluffs, and all they ever really wanted was a fathomless money laundering racket. So this is a desperate fight to keep the welfare checks.
Ah, if only HHe were alive….Ukraine would triumph.

How about it, Micky McFaul? He awaits your invitation.
It’s logical for Russia to act in a major way before the new missiles arrive, to dilute their effect. American cluster bombs will be met with Russian cluster bombs. I pity humans becoming meat for politics.
Macron’s future is uncertain. Explains why he’s doing his master’s bidding more openly. Gone is the diplomatic charm he play acted last year.
Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Medvedev said: “The completely crazy West could not come up with anything else … In fact, it’s a dead end. World War Three is getting closer.. What does all this mean for us? Everything is obvious. The special military operation will continue with the same goals.”
As a sign of civilisation on the ground, by soldiers on both sides, go to A Skeptic’s page and search for the video below the words ” We do not want fight” – https://askeptic.substack.com/p/russia-ukraine-reports-2023-07-11
Bring on the carpet bombing.

EMP Europe
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdbhS-ozdWE
EMP the US…and watch it burn.
Where are the diplomats? Peace in UKR is easily obtained.
As someone with expertise in the field, I can confirm that the EMP video is full of sensationalistic BS. It’s just fear mongering, probably in order to push some agenda.
The only viable way of doing HEMP is a nuke. Once nukes start flying, losing Wi-Fi won’t bother people much.
P.S. “A panel of experts at Universal Peace Federation” sounds like something generated by AI, and I had to check if it was a real NGO.
Seems like Operation Citadel and Operation Kutuzov are being relived in the same region. The Big Serge just released a post about those two operations today. Good timing on his part.
Russia could always blow up the Chunnel. That’d be a response to both France and the U.K. No trains run from about 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM, so civilian deaths could mostly be avoided. They could always blame on Ukrainians in a yacht.
Meanwhile since Biden is sending cluster munitions because the US is out of regular 155 mm shells, I guess when they run out of cluster bombs, they’ll send Ukraine nerve gas.
FYI we already have credible, documented video evidence that ukraine has employed nerve gas and/or other chemical weapons against russian troops.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/02/exclusive-ukraine-using-chemical-weapons-warning-disturbing-video-indicates-sufficient-circumstantial-evidence-investigate/
I had forgotten all about the Chunnel. Haven’t been to Europe (except to change planes) since 2000.
Now that’s a tempting target indeed. I wonder how practicable it is …
Here is another idea – google SS Richard Montgomery….
Thanks, I did just that!
From wiki:
‘ According to a BBC News report in 1970, it was determined that if the wreck of Richard Montgomery exploded, it would throw a 300 metres (980 feet)-wide column of water and debris nearly 3,000 metres (9,800 feet) into the air and generate a wave 5 metres (16 feet) high. Almost every window in Sheerness (population circa 20,000) would be broken and buildings would be damaged by the blast. However, news reports in May 2012, including one by BBC Kent, stated that the wave could be about one metre (3.3 feet) high, which although lower than previous estimates would be enough to cause flooding in some coastal settlements.’
Only one way to find out, eh?
Only one way to find out! 🙂 Then Russia could hack Radosław Sikorski’s Twitter account and tweet out “Thank you America!” again.
It depends on how detailed the Russian intel in Ukraine is. If they know where French and UK nationals sleep in Uke, they gonna die.
They know SBS has a base in Odessa but SBS is not daft and probably moves around
All the while, still no one has any idea regarding Prigozhin and Wagner- Prigozhin is giving interviews and seems relaxed and happy…
I almost hate to say it but it seems it may the time has come for Russia to take the gloves off and declare war on Ukraine to fully mobilize for the coming larger conflict. Nato is a danger to the entire world and needs to be silenced. I think if those missiles hit targets inside Russia then Putin should respond by hitting equal targets in their countries. If he does not stop this now I personally believe they will send whatever it takes to destroy Russia and both have nukes. I was hoping they would back off but since they want to escalate even in the face of defeat it seems doubtful that WW III can be avoided. Very sad for so many to die over absolutely nothing that matters to 90% of the people in the world including most citizens in Nato countries. I still pray this can be avoided but again it seems unlikely. Thanks as always Larry for the timely updates.
Western countries are co-combatants in this war.
Perhaps Russia will simply announce that for every missile from a co-combatant fired at Russia, that co-combatant will receive one back (or maybe two).
And the Australian quisling, AlbaNAZI, is sending a RAAF “spy plane” and (an admitted) 100 ADF personnel.
That is direct participation in my view.
Makes one want to chunder.
It will be in Germany being trained nothing more
Yeah, i wonder how long this awac type plane will last flying out of a Ukrainian Airfield. Seems a short lived gift from us aussie’s. Its Radar range is apparently about 400km so would have to fly near the combat line to look deep in to Russian lines too
Why announce it? The West would just consider it another “red line” announcement. I thin they should take out a few ISR targets as Larry has suggested. If that doesn’t work, then taking out an aircraft carrier would definitely send a strong signal that Russia will no longer take this shit.
Americans are mostly ignoring the war in Ukraine and are overall ignorant about the true state of affairs, but they are growing increasingly against more US aid and involvement.
Sinking an Aircraft Carrier would be a “Pearl Harbor moment” and would ignite the entire country to action and war. Sending 3,000 US sailors to the bottom of the ocean in an “unprovoked” attack would never be forgiven or forgotten. It would be war eternal until one or the other or both or the entire world was blown up. And it would be 100% supported by every fiber of American patriotism.
No, I hope Putin and cooler heads prevail in Moscow. A slow and limited grind, staying off the radar as much as possible, even quietly dealing with NATO escalations, is the best way to win the war in Ukraine, AND more importantly, prevent world-wide conflagration in which everybody loses. Counter-punching and avoiding a nuclear exchange is in Russia’s best interest.
100% agree about it being Pearl Harbour v2.0 . . . .even though PH was instigated, planned for (“No Kimmel – you can’t move your ships out of Pearl & disperse them” – FDR) The entirety of the population WOULD scream for blood – you know – ‘totally unprovoked’ attack.
Except that it is not unprovoked, and everyone knows it. But I get your point. Perhaps the Pentagon, or CIA HDQ in Virginia – no one gives a shit about them, except the neocons.
The CIA lost an asset when they lost Mr. Johnson. Of course, since he would not go along, he had to move along. His point about shooting down US and NATO surveillance drones is prescient.
When Russia was fucking with the drones in Syria a day or two? This was a message. And of course, our idiots are oblivious.
Russia is completely transparent in an opaque manner. They tell you what they will do? Or they signal it. And we ignore it. Or do not even notice.
So yes. Probably whack some drones. Keep the pressure up. I don’t see Russia hitting France or the UK. Even though I would dearly love to see it. And the grain ships have been bringing arms in. With that deal fucking over, that shits going to have to come in thru Poland and Romania. And most of it will get destroyed pre-deployment.
Game of Thrones. Winter comes. One of my perennial self-questions is if Putin will ever shut the fucking tap of natural gas thru Ukraine. I understand the rationale, but I cannot comprehend paying my fucking enemy transit royalties.
But scary days. I did notice Zelensky did not look happy at the NATO circle jerk. The noose tightens. I’m giving 65-35 odds against this going nuclear. But on a happy note, my Malinois Stella got a squirrel in the park today. She is now insufferable.
Each provocation strengthen’s Putin’s hand and helps him realize his long-term goals. The SMO is really a SHORT TERM goal. The long term goal must be defeat of NATO and its deconstruction and dissolution. As Larry says providing reallyl long range missiles would result in countermeasures such as destruction of NATO ISR capabilities and the StarLink system. However, you will notice that Britain and France are offering longER range missiles … storm shadow missiles! Range about 155 km. They are also air-launched. The S400 has a range of 400 km. These missiles will change nothing. BUT they bolster Russian resolve and unity — already stronger now that the Wagner affair has been pretty much resolved.
This is what Putin wants. Read or listen: https://julianmacfarlane.substack.com/p/putins-legacy
A friend visiting from where he lives in Germany tells of Syrian refugees fighting Ukrainian refugees because they think the Ukrainians are getting “more”.
And Turkey allowed Sweden to join NATO, complete with her public Koran burnings and her no-go areas of refugees running amuck.
The West might think about holding onto those cluster munitions. All those chickens coming home to roost…
Ukrainians ARE getting more !!!
They get full welfare benefits full health care even money to furnish an apartment which they seem to get when everyone else sees a housing shortage
Syrians get basic money and must get a form to get health care whereas Ukrainians are treated as full EU Citizens with no ability to check how much money they have stashed away nor who owns their luxury SUVs
Man goes say to U.K. and wife goes to Germany – benefits system feeds them both and each claims for children
“I anticipate that Russia will intensify its attacks on Ukrainian positions at key locations along the 800 mile line of contact in the next two weeks. While NATO is scrambling to provide Ukraine with actionable intelligence to try to damage the Russian capabilities” …. And I think you are RIGHT, it is not a coincidence that Australia will send the E-7A Wedgetail to Germany “to guide and protect an external support hub for Ukraine” and France will supply the SCALP (perhaps because Ukraine is starting to lack Storm Shadows). In any case E-7A can guide the SCALP better and deeper in the battlefield.
The West dares to escalate because they are not afraid of Russia. Isn’t it like that? The west acts, and Russia has to find out how to react.
So, what should Russia do to stop the escalation?
Many people may think that Russia just has to wait until the West will disintegrate because of its inner weaknesses. I wouldn’t bet that the west will decline so rapidly. I can read about the western decline for decades: Financial system collapsing, migrants overflow, technology taken over by Chinese, you may even add climate heating. But: What does a collapse look like? It will not be like the fall of the Berlin wall in 89.
So, yes, there is a decline, but no smash yet. No Berlin wall fall moment like 89.
And therefore Russia is under permanent stress. As well as the West.
“What does a collapse look like?”
That’s a gazillion dollar question. Maybe France can give us a hint. The other day I’ve heard about the idea of creating some kind of Islamic province around Marseille, in the future. Sounds a bit like Balkanization, with a touch of “reverse-colonization”.
“and therefore Russia is under permanent stress” – and how did you arrive to such conclusion? You obviously haven’t seen Russians enjoying cafe life and parks in Moskva or St Petersburg or any other Russian city – spotless streets, expensive cars, beautiful women dressed in latest fashions, children playing, people dancing..
President smiling, relaxed, singing Russian anthem with SHAMAN, inviting children to visit him in Kremlin – no one is stressed, Roland. People in Russia are happy, content and proud to be Russians. See for yourself – lots of videos on Youtube filmed by visitors/tourists, by just walking along the streets and commenting in disbelief and obvious envy at reality of life in Russia. Have a look and THEN write your comments.
Can I also suggest that you watch Russians responding to SHAMAN singing “I am Russian!” And not just Russians, it seems the whole world is loving “I am Russian” – and also feel proud! No kidding and it’s heartwarming to watch. : ))
It seems that yesterday Macron formally said goodbye to the property of French Renault in Russia, which is worth 2.2 billion euros. The French car manufacturer, whose largest shareholder is the French state, had a factory in Moscow in its 100 percent ownership and 66.7 percent ownership of the largest Russian car manufacturer AvtoVAZ (Lada). The French left Russia after the Ukrainian foreign minister’s tweet.
After the Russians entered the abandoned Lada factory, they discovered that the former French majority owner had moved 20-40 percent of component production to the EU, depending on the model. Little by little, the Russians managed to organize the replacement production of parts. A few days ago, the whole process ended with the start of sales of the improved top model – Lada Vesta. This year, Lada expects record production to compensate for the departure of European and Korean competitors. In another former Renault factory in Moscow, the Chinese SUV, which received the badge of the traditional Russian brand Moskvich, is already being extensively assembled.
Ah, yes. The French handed over AvtoVAZ (Lada) to the Russians for a symbolic one ruble, with the possibility of returning under the same conditions in 6 years. However, it is foreseen that the Russians will be recognized for all investments in the restoration of production. I have a feeling that French cruise missiles will be added to the same bill.
if it’s youtube, larry, you get the full URL and in a new block hit paste – that will do a youtube embed automatically.
if that doesn’t work will walk you thru the manual embed.
“the Soviets did it to the Americans in Vietnam and …
the United States did it to the Soviets in Afghanistan.”
The key point, to which you subsequently alluded, is that
those SA-2s did not threaten America itself, and
those Stingers did not threaten the USSR itself.
Excellent observation.
Taking your comment on step further.
The United States is doing more than just threatening Russia with these terrorist attacks on Russian soil. These fool idiots are firing drones into Moscow saying how Russia is droning themselves.
Right now, these attacks amount to nothing but harassing party favors, with the snarky United States is saying: “The Ukrainians did it.” Except everybody knows you need US intelligence and US satellites to pull something like this off.
I am just waiting for when, like after this NATO conference ends, when these drone attacks on Moscow escalate and start doing some real damage.
At some point Russia is going to tell the bully: “Proxy this.”
If Russia was firing drones into Washington, DC just how would that go over?
The Russians could just say: “Hey, not us. The Mexicans did it.”
Just how long would our (or their) elected for life senile old codgers and crazy old biddies in Washington, DC tolerate that, before going off on some kind of geriatric rage?
This whole situation is already stupid enough by half. Sooner or later somebody’s patience is going to run out.
If Moskva is hit again, my response would be to drop an intercontinental missile on the superbowl stadium, at say 03.00 hrs – night, few casualties, no real infrastructure damage, but a wake up call to the pricked Merican public pride / complacency. It doesn’t have to be a noocleere one a la Japon.
Message:- Stop it clowns – this is what we can do. There is no hiding place.
How would you hit Moskva again ?
Nice theory but any incoming ICBM would be assumed to be nuclear.
Good point. The West knows how to escalate, but the Russians don’t know it.
And the Russians signal to the world that they are afraid of a nuclear war. The West claims therefore, that it will not come to a nuclear war.
“Russia reportedly hit Odessa’s port yesterday (Monday) with a missile strike as a prelude for ending the grain deal and asserting its control of the Black Sea. That will be a blow to Ukraine and Turkey and there is little the West can do in response without creating a casus belli for Russia to hit targets where NATO advisers are located.”
I now see the reason for Erdogan releasing Azov POWs. It appears that he did not backstab Putin, afterall.
“. . . there is little the West can do in response . . . .”
The United States could send in warships and submarines into the Black Sea. Having drank its own propaganda Kool Aid, the United States IS just that delusional. This really is the Jim Jones (the Jonestown Massacre), of Proxy Wars.
Until the United States steps out into the open and says: “Yes, we blew-up your critical civilian infrastructure. What are you going to do about it?” and until Russia says: “Proxy this.” it’s going to be a long, dragged out, awful mess.
The is a small detail of the Montreux convention which restricts the number and size of foreign war ships in the Black Sea. Unless Turkey is prepared to waive it which would be diplomatically earth shaking and unprecedented and would potentially invite a clash of super powers on its doorstep. They would have to be mad to allow it.
Erdogan doesn’t care much about “diplomatically earth shaking and unprecedented”, but he does care about “clash of super powers on its doorstep”. He would ditch any convention for a sack of gold, but not if that leads to a stray missile ending up his ass.
Even senile Biden has seen the AFU’s capitulation! And he said it clearly to a journalist “en passant”. And never in history has the US stayed to watch an ally capitulate!
Russia missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take out all of the troublemakers, in one foul swoop, by not taking out the decision-making center in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Going forward, it’s looking like this is going to be a long, long, long war.
The “troublemakers” in Vinius are just puppets, the salesmen, the usefull idiots. All replaceable the very next day.
The puppet masters stay safely hidden (so far) in their penthouses, castles, and rural estates.
The “troublemakers” are just the hired hands. They are disposable and would be replaced in a flash by their hidden masters. No big loss at all for the collective West.
Russia, however would face broad condemnation for this act even from many countries currently neutral or supporting it.
Ukraine, M16 , the Poland, the Baltics, and the collective Nulands would cheer at the new life breathed into the corpse of their cause.
Only if that were true. The entire crop of morons assembled in Vilnius right now could all drop dead from Ebola or an Act of God or a Kinzal strike, it wouldn’t matter. There are literally thousands of other morons back in DC and London and Berlin who are just as stupid and psychotic who will take their place. What happens if Biden croaks? Kamala or Pelosi or Linsey Graham takes his place! No improvement there.
The problem is institutional, systemic corruption and asshattery that guarantees that only dishonest money-grubbing habitual-lying snakes who take MIC money and do whatever the MIC says — only these types of people rise inside the US govt. If you were honest or had some kind of a moral guidance, you could not possibly survive in any position of power in the US govt today. The system and culture guarantees it.
I almost feel sorry for the cabal in Ukraine; the USA promised them so much to start the provocations and just like with the Kurds, when the going gets tough they are dropped like a hot potato.
This has happened so many times that the West is getting a very bad name. It would be better if the West just signs RENTAL AGREEMENTS with countries like Ukraine to prosecute future wars. The rental agreement would give the West exclusive rights to dispose of all property, natural resources and animals (including humans) inhabiting the region for the duration of the conflict. This would clear up a lot of the confusion and hurt feelings with the present arrangement. IMHO
Hooking up with the US is like marrying a woman whose last six husbands died mysteriously.
larry writes that france is “proposing” a delivery of french SCALP long-range missiles to ukraine. meanwhile and in actual fact, the french news agency AFP is reporting (according at least to zerohedge) that the first SCALP missiles have already been delivered to ukraine, and that french president macron is deviously reporting france`s “intentions” after the fact.
in short, the SCALP missiles are ready and primed for attack against russia in much the same way as the UK`s storm shadow missiles were already in use(!) when the sunak government announced its own “intentions” of delivering them to ukraine.

At amusement parks they have (or they used to post), signs restricting access to all of the hottest rides: “Must be this tall to ride.” It should be the same thing for so-called world leaders. Zelensky should be declared either too short or not big enough. As Randy Newman says: “Short people got nobody.”

I’ve managed to post WSJ video on my blog as well.

You should Copy/Paste something like this:
If it doesn’t work, the old right click/view page source should help.
Yeah [sarcasm]. I clicked on your “Saker” thing. Now all I have to do is load up Google Translator (Google being one of the worst, if not the worst, offenders in the war on freedom of speech, war on freedom of expression, and war on privacy by US corporate oligarchs) with their spyware. I’ll be setting off alarms (“Hey, somebody is reading somebody we don’t like”) all the way to Langley. Like there isn’t enough of that crap already.
You must be a troll.
It wasn’t enough that “the Saker” is an expat living in Miami, as a guest of my country; a country that he plainly hates, especially Americans. Like anybody needs that crap.
Some of his stuff was pure nuts.
Didn’t he shut is site down because he went one to many nervous breakdowns too far?
Speak English.
You shoud invade his country for using another language.
how about a new name for the friendly sweet google, “Joogle”
Had a look. Pity the https://lesakerfrancophone.fr/ will not connect.
Pity thesaker.is is frozen.
Even I got blocked on proposing various peace initiatives including the Vatican.
Maybe some took the religious POV too seriously?
why the si and not is? A tad suspicious.
It’s the Slovenian (.si) branch of the Saker’s site, which is kept running there (in Slovenian).
Even POTUS Biden blocked British NATO genius Wallace to avoid the USA fighting Russia for London.
If true that Britain and France bypassed NATO, meaning USA, for long missiles, then it is Entente Cordialle all over again, and look what did to France in WWI !! And to Germany !!
Russia is fully aware Britain ha “always been at war with them”.
Always being 300 years. Tom Luongo “But nothing less than the fate of a 300 year project for world government hangs in the balance. Everyone of these horrific factions wants to rule the world but none of them have the means by themselves to pull it off. So, watching them maneuver each other into the line of fire would be hilarious if the stakes weren’t so freaking high for the rest of us.”
So the curtain parts. Is the USA savvy eonough to realize why it broke away in 1776 ???
Britain knows the upcoming US election will be decisive, and lets no chance to pre-empt go by.
There will be no election, unless it is rigged. Just ask George Soros.
A 3 week US bank shutdown would make Paris look like a cosy coffee shop.

USMC Col. Macgreggor let the cat out of the bag.
Yet since 1800 Britain has not fought a major war in Europe without Russia/USSR as ally and has only fought Russia with France as an ally………1854, 1918-22, 2022-
US broke away in 1776 so it did not have to pay its share of imperial defence costs but could continue to reap rewards for building warships for Royal Navy yet contribute nothing
Trump would have been so ashamed of such American freeriders
Vous êtes un indiot. Speck anglais.
That’s 8-years of high school and University French language. If we were in France, no problem. But we are in the United States. Run your comments through a translator before wasting everybody’s time.
You have attacked 2 European languages, and that before breakfast.
Keep at it, chauvanist – which is a French word reserved for uncivilized, ignorant, imperial stooges.
T’a guelle, connard!
Take it easy, friend.

Suggest you read the first few pages of War and Peace.
You can read I suppose or are you using a text to speech program.
On second thoughts you would not read W&P as it was writ bye a forin orfore, (and not standard merican espangnole).
“But we are in the United States.”
Never been there mate. Last time I’ve checked, this blog was not your lawn.
Some readers are in the USA. I, certainly, am not. Merci à le bon Dieu.
Maybe YOU are in the U.S., but you are not the only reader.
Learning different languages is a nice way to expand your mental abilities.
I see the face of so called “american exceptionalism” in your words.
It’s an ugly face.
True that. And what a laugh when they demand others speak English when they themselves, the exceptionalists, use a completely dumbed down version both with speaking and spelling.
Canada recognized French as a second official language in order to quell separatist insurrections in the 70’s. You’d think they’d have had the decency to demand the same of Ukraine. That would’ve been the right thing to do. But since the banderite lobby is strong in Canada and Canada’s leaders are immoral, spineless opportunists, they did the opposite. Welcome to your partial creation, Canada – WAR.
Le rage d’espérer franco-britannique ?
Mais non, c’est une Entente Cordialle!

“France and the United Kingdom, acting independently of NATO-”
Same ones who planned, and started, the Great War against Germany and Austria-Hungary in 1914. Now they’re going after Russia. Except now, they’re no longer great powers anymore, facing off against a militarily and economically backward Russia, such as it was in the Crimean War, and in 1914.
Really ? The Schlieffen Plan was not German ? German aims are consistent in 1914 and 1939 and 1999 and 2014 and 2022
Hitler’s foreign policy was mainstream German policy nothing aberrant
If Germany had an actual German government, they’d drop out of NATO, sign a peace treaty with Russia, thus legally and officially ending WWII, and expel all Anglo-American forces from their soil. They’d also drop out of the EU, which is nothing more than the instrument by which Washington/London control Europe, and start printing Marks, backed by gold, again.
I hear that a lot from armchair pol’s who have done no homework, hausaufgabe.
What was the precedent for NordStream industrial terrorism against Germany in particular?
The broad daylight 1989 murder of Deutsche Bank chief Herrhausen, a JFK moment for Chancellor Kohl, his best friend.
Add to that Ponto, Rohwedder around the same time.
Herrhausen was on his way to NYC with a Comecon Reconstruction Program based on the world’s greatest reconstruction – Germany after WWII. To use Deutsche Bank credit for rapid development. This was the neocon’s nightmare. Herrhausen knew and told his wife ” they will kill me”.
Now put yourself in Berlin.
Holy crap!
That is insane!
Now it makes sense why Helmut Kohl gave up on the strong German DM and merged it into the EURO.
One less threat to the USD.
My hats off to you M. Bonbon.
D-Mark was the price Mitterand demanded to agree to German Re-Unification in 1990
If Germany had kept D-Mark it would have lost its export markets as D-Mark Revalued so it took the Euro and devalued the D-Mark at DM1,995 = €1,00 to keep the export markets
It’s already down the memory hole but in the US state of Georgia a young man (Harrison Deal) was murdered to send a message to GA Governor Kemp not to backslide on his fealty to the Sea Island group (he had been publicly considered reliable MAGA). The murdered was the son of the former Governor Deal and was dating Kemp’s daughter, so signal sent close to home but not yet in it.
It was a bomb of some sort. There is a century of European and East Asian automotive engineering to ensure that cars do not explode. (catch fire, yes, but not explode) The front half of his car was obliterated and there were no pieces of his body left that were so large that they would not fit into a shoe box. That both state and federal investigation led to stonewalled nothing tells you everything you need to know about government. Our governments serve the oligarchy.
The take-home assessment is that those who see us as their human cattle most certainly use murder as a tool of governance. It’s another reason I’m glad RFK has stepped into the ring. Globalists will have to murder both him and Pres. Trump if they murder either, because each can count on the other to use the full force of the state to bring the culprits to justice even if merely out of self-preservation.
Sounds like a plan. A good plan. European nations (as well as the United States), in order to survive and thrive, need to return to Triune JEHOVAH’s revealed Biblical Law. Homosexuality, Marxism and infanticide must be banned and banished from the lands. The government schools should all be abolished. All murderers, rapists and rioters must be tracked down and quickly executed. Every European nation now needs a William Tecumseh Sherman in the wings and on the scenes, with the full authority to shoot all guilty rabid rioters on sight. God’s pure Word, the Bible, should open every session of every parliamentary meeting. Sunday Sabbath keeping should be encouraged by all civil magistrates. Perhaps JEHOVAH will then begin to have mercy on the Evil, Apostate, Wicked West.
(Resources: Institutes of Biblical Law, by Rousas John Rushdoony. First published in 1973; https://rushdoonyradio.org.)
Your god seems to be as wicked as those you wish death upon.
And where the fuck in your book of fairy tales is Marxism mentioned?
Best you pack up your sandwich board, pack away your loud hailer, and stop proselytizing, it’s so 19th century.
Radical extreme Christians are just as dangerous and crazy as radical Mulims and Hindus.
Abrahamic god was like that from the start. Centuries don’t matter much.
Germany has been under US control since Dawes Plan in 1924 when American corporations bought huge stakes in German companies like AEG and Focke Wulf and I G Farben and SEL and Opel etc

16.04.1922 The Rapallo Treaty of Rathenau and Chicherin, agreeing to resume diplomatic and economic German-Russian relations according to the most-favored-nation principle.was killed when Rathenau was assassination soon after. Versailles, to destroy Germany, went ahead and hyperinflation followed.
Today NordStream cooperation with Russia, and 1989 Herrhausen’s Comecon Reconstruction were violently stopped.
Every attendee at Rapallo, except British Prime Minister Lloyd George was assassinated. Curiously?
Hyperinflation was because Germans funded WWI on an unfounded basis and would not pay taxes to cover it – bit like USA – and wanted France to pay costs as it did in 1871
Germans created hyperinflation and NEVER paid their obligations under Versailles – serial defaulters but they had the funds to re-arm after 1919 and build factories in USSR to produce weapons
Germany was run by spendthrifts then as now – they lack any sense of Financial Control and are incontinent spenders. Even German business is grossly inept

I trillion a year. And the rust bucket US Navy struggles to keep half its subs in the water. All that money gone on drag queen training. When you fantasize about a war with China and Russia? Top Gun 2 is a fantasy. This article is the reality.
So those folks who think they will fight the Russians in the Black Sea? With what? And the minute you commit there, the Chinese move on Taiwan.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-07-11/us-navy-attack-submarine-readiness-almost-40-out-of-commission-for-repairs?srnd=premium&sref=IYQ5mP1s&fbclid=IwAR0_NswOfjVicJhVzFptcdW8Qk4RvLv6tOEpXW7key01gXLhuOC3hf3sIuE
“And the minute you commit there, the Chinese move on Taiwan”
This is the nightmare that keeps the Pentagon pen-pushers awake at night.
It’s bad enough that the US military can’t really hope to defeat a PLA invasion of Taiwan, and they know it.
Much worse the idea that a demented cabal of neocons orders the US Military to go in boots’n’all into Ukraine, get bogged down and beaten around, and then the Chinese say “Hmm, looks like the time is right”.
I’m not totally sold to the RF counter-counter-attacks right now. For what I see of it , it lacks a few pieces in that puzzle like some massive recon and the following preparations strikes.
I my eyes, the Russian are just exploiting the gaps the banderist tend to let the more and more often in the front-line. (some are big gaps)
Now let’s try to explain the gaps : UAF can only send a certain amount of reinforcement and ordinance on a front line , and it seems for now the UAF have a tendency to prefer to refurbish the attack front than the defense lines. Let’s see if this tendency outlives the Vilnius “NAFO summit” :).
On a totally different matter, it seems the RF are testing a lot of systems, I saw some vids about the BMP-T usage as a DRG night hunter in Avdeevka : man they are trying a lot of things with this concept weapon : urban, forest, hunting … it didn’t look ridiculous or ill-adapted in any situation, the thing is just eating lots of ammo…
If one steps back from the beginning of the hostilities till now, one element sticks out. It’s the English elite, who seem to be the constant blowhards over the embers of this conflict.
These English inbred demon worshippers are definitely the rabid chiwawa in this dog fight and someone needs to send them a sobering message that the world is truly sick of them sowing misery and destruction around what can be a much happier world.
PS. It’s turning out to be that the riots in France are a US psyop and regime change operation against Micron for, among other things, daring to ask for an invitation to the next BRICS meeting. Can you say Soros and the US Deep State?

In Russia the ammunition and recruits are replenished daily.
These things happen when you prepare for war while others prepare for cross dressing pronouns in the safe space.
Puin prepared since 2014 for what then was the writings on the wall.
Putin is a master at holding the opposits of any situation until it comes to fruition and intellect can prevail.
They should create some of those safe spaces on the frontlines, in order to reduce emotional damage from being called “pidor” while being targeted by Fagot missile.

Vilnius will go down in history books as the summit of NATO’s great defeat in the Ukrainian conflict. Because the failure of Vilnius with NATO’s decision to keep Ukraine on the back burner – regardless of the wrapping paper propaganda – should not be analyzed individually but combined with the failure of all the promises of the last NATO Summit in Madrid. In one year NATO accomplished zero of the objectives announced in Madrid! Zero! Therefore, I have no doubt that the main concern of the US today is how to pull out of Ukraine and force Kiev to negotiate! Most likely and despite not losing the lives of its soldiers in a proxy war, the war in Ukraine is the biggest military and economic failure of the US since the Vietnam war. Which led to the withdrawal of the US dollar from the gold standard. It remains to be seen the consequences of the US’s loss of prestige in all areas this time. Including the loss of the US dollar’s share as the global reserve currency.
P.S.2. I would also like to be able to coordinate the loss of US interest in the UA conflict with the promisses of France and Germany! Although they are often never more than promises. Like the F-16s.
P.S. 2. Bakmuth now is nothing more than a psyop like Belgorod at the start of the counteroffensive, with zero strategic value. Which, at most, sought to provoke the displacement of Russian forces. Bakhmut, strategically today has the same value for the UA. Zero. With controversy within the AFU. After the intensification of fighting in the region to divert attention from the successive failures in Zaporizhia to cut the land bridge with Crimea. That was the objective of the counter-offensive announced.
Spero che Putin e tutta la Duma decidano di far toccare con mano agli USA la pericolosità delle cluster bomb con una bella spolverata di queste supposte magari in California dove sono insidiati le coltivazioni di grano .
My limited Italian is suggesting you’re proposing a proper response to US cluster bombs would be littering the Napa Valley (and grain fields) with apple-sized cluster bomblets? (the ‘apple sized’ was an added flourish)
How do you like them apples?
Of all people, British NATO has-been Wallace :
RT : ‘We’re not Amazon’ – UK responds to Ukraine’s weapons requests
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has suggested that Ukrainian officials should show gratitude for weapons donations
https://swentr.site/news/579607-uk-ukraine-weapons-requests/
Are Stormshadows, DU munitions , really not available on Amazon!
That is just not good enough, I*ll say!!
He is right. Drones bought from Amazon did more damage to Russians than all British tanks and missiles.
I wouldn’t be surprised if within a few months lancets or smaller versions will be flocked together in arrays of a dozen or more at a time, sort of like the bird attacks in Hitchcock’s The Birds.
Lancet type drones aren’t realy suitable for swarms, but cheap quadcopters are. Search “drone swarm” on Youtube for “Hitchcockian” stuff.
Ukros have threatend to start their super-duper-mega-counter-offensive with ginormous drone swarm attack, that would decimate defending postions. I guess it’s easier said than done, considering that instead of kamikaze drones, they went for banzai tanks.
2 choices I favour for Putin-in-Chief; take out whichever flying spook shop, over Romania or Poland, or, select a mothballed ship in a British port & destroy it with a submarine launched hypersonic missile. The message won’t be missed; Russia can nail you wherever, whenever. Dangerous, yes. But conducting ‘big arrow’ offensives without publicly demeaning the ‘forces of democracy’ is more dangerous; I keep commenting that two consecutive bad decisions of junior officers can move us from the frying pan into the fire!
Stick to space invaders you clearly have no strategic sense
Why do you think UZ has mothballed ships and wouldn’t, you imagine if they did they would be in U.K. Attacking U.K. would trigger US response since Holy Loch is a US base and US crews serve on British ships and vice versa – full interoperability
Better to destroy Warsaw or Bucharest which US would not notice
I choose the two potential operations that I exampled, because they can be ‘memory holed’ by the forces of democracy. From what I have seen & read, the ‘Lords of Chaos’ in Washington & London are afraid of the nuclear fireball; they need to be reminded how close they are getting to it. The time is approaching for a major Russian operation to dismantle the Ukrainian state; once a ‘big arrow’ offensive is joined, anything can happen, such as soldiers (mercs) with Stars & Stripes patches on their uniform, shot dead by Russian forces (Telegram, this morning). If that pops up during the fevered coverage of a big operation, we’re in trouble!
Apparently NATO has passed the Ukraine hot-potato to the G7 !
Is the G7 to be the new world security guarantor?
The referee must show a red card.
Thank you Larry. I did watch the WSJ video. Yes, it’s admitted there that the going has been tough for Ukrainian forces. That’s putting it mildly! As Col. Macgregor so succinctly puts it, “They’re trying to put a smile on a dead rat”.
I watched Gen. Kimmitt, with his board, strings and little wooden pieces, explaining the Ukrainian counteroffensive and the Russian defense it faces. Kimmitt’s experience is in Kosovo, Iraq, and Bosnia. We are not longer fighting a force that has limited capabilities and frankly very unsophisticated militaries. That’s what this general knows. This war is unlike anything the US has involved itself in in the last 70 years. Leadership like Kimmitt’s doesn’t get it and really can’t imagine the scope and shear violence of this war.
(Ukraine has lost an estimated 350,000 men so far in a little over one year of fighting!)
On top of that, Russia has shown that it’s military and its weaponry are second to none , including the US. Sadly, the US and its real proxy, NATO, have bitten off way more than it can chew. The asinine war mongers in Washington DC, who completely underestimated Russian capability, are sacrificing hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to exert ‘DC’s’ will on Russia. It ain’t working. It’s a disaster.
Joe Biden and company better find a way out and soon! We are facing one more disastrous foreign war defeat. Additionally, It’s becoming obvious that this is creating a shift in world political dominance. The West in general is suffering economic and commercial failure; not to mention military failure. As a matter of fact, at this point it seems the ONLY thing Washington has going for it is media manipulation and propaganda; and of course the dollar reserve currency status. All of that too is starting to weaken!
It goes back to the old axiom, “Bullshit walks and action talks”. And Russia is in action!
isn’t it rather “Bullshit talks and action walks” ?
In the US political realm, it’s ‘money talks and bullshit walks’.
Isn’t it rather “Bullshit talks and action walks” ?
Due to London’s and Paris’ cruise missile pledges, I’m seeing a Poseidon torpedo “swimming” up each of the Thames, Seine, and Potomac rivers, and “hanging out” on the bottom, awaiting their orders. Or at least 1/2-size versions of Poseidons. That would slow down the West a bit.
Russia is very methodical, and often frustratingly too much so. But that’s because they’re trying to buy time for the “political side” to work itself out, i.e. the multipolar world order including almost all non-Western countries. “Herding cats” does take time… but obviously they’re making good progress.
But with England and France pushing this new evil, Russia might be forced to quicken the pace of destroying the Ukie-Nazis once and for all, and taking over ALL of Ukraine. I know Russia does NOT want to kill Ukie civilians. But the devil will kill many more Russian civilians soon if it gets its way, so the Russians are going to be forced to make a hard choice.
Sometimes you simply have to cut the head off the snake as it keeps coming at you, instead of trying to have everything worked out to the “nth degree” ahead of time.
Of course there is a potentially easier way. Russia could capture and “disappear” into a Siberian gulag the following 5 individuals, which would have the same effect of slowing the West down: Soros, Gates, Schwab, Harari, and Fink.
Let those 5 live like “Lord of the Flies” for the rest of their lives, competing with each other for the cockroach food that’s available in the gulag, and those beneath them in the heirarchy of the Beast will think twice about inflicting more evil on the world.

Mundanomaniac’s astrological analysis adding to the militarily and politically aspects of the wordchanging event:
“the great tank encounter battle south of Prokhorovka. I have witnessed this truly titanic duel of two steel armads, which on July 12. had taken place on the southern section of the Kursk Arc. Up to 1200 tanks and self-propelled guns were involved in it. There is still a document from this period, which I sent from this room to the Supreme Commander on July 14. and which bears eloquent testimony to what happened. –” (Vasilliewski)

The only person that can change the course of the conflict is Zelinski.
He is realizing the cowardice of NATO , the USA and the EU who seem terrified by the military power displayed by Russian and the pathetic performance of their high tech weapons.
Now in panic mode France and the UK are officially offering more deadly weapons to calm down Zelinski after the flop of the Vilinius NATO meeting.
Zelinski will cool down for a while but he does not get the f-16 before his army is about to be annihilated, he will make a u-turn and call for Erdogan to arrange secret negotiation with Putin without informing the ‘friendly’ allies. He will therefore humiliate them like they humiliate him.
I think that he already informed Erdogan, the only leader he trusts if his plans. That explains Erdogan praises to Zelinski and the liberation of Azov militants . Russia is well aware of zelinski’s intentions

Zelensky’s between a rock and a hard place. His deal to stay in power is to be the errand boy, in this order, for: 1) the neo-nazi banderites and 2) NATO.
Either one can off him at any time but he’s more in fear of no. 1 than no. 2. That’s why no. 2 has been telling him lately that “you’re a bit annoying, demanding and ungrateful lately. Time to cool it a bit.” NATO doesn’t understand it’s the banderites talking. He’s just conveying their message like a good little errand boy.
NATO’s in bed with neo-nazis in Ukraine. Have been for a long time. Nothing unusual, actually. Just that they’re both losing and deathly afraid that this unholy union will finally be exposed for all to see.
I prefer the expression, “Between the dog and a fire plug.”
Zelensky can’t even change his drug dealer.
Related to a previous article Larry published on CIA Director William Burns, I said that Burns is a British asset. This seems to be the case considering this has turned from a proxy war on Russia to a war of attrition, nothing the pirate City of London would like better.

It is clear that Ukraine’s strength was related to areas it had prepared well in advance with bunkers, underground tunnels and trench fortifications, and these were mostly associated with cities like Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) Avdiivka, and Vuhledar. In other places it was forested areas such as above Siversk.
Once the Ukrainians were on the open fields like along the southern frontline they were clearly no match for the well prepare Russians. In those areas it is just a graveyard for tanks, APCs, and Russian estimates of 16,000 Ukrainian casualties.
Now that NATO has given the cold shoulder to Ukraine, yet has used the war to “fight to the last Ukrainian” what could possibly motivate Ukrainian soldiers to continue fighting? Is this not a public form of betrayal? If they do not understand this when they have been used and abused, then they are just plain stupid and a suicide cult.
I believe we are now seeing the first movements of a Russian offensive that will now go progressively for the kill. Macron is making a big mistake in sending long range missiles and I also suspect that one of these days a US drones patrolling the Black Sea gleaning information, are going to be smashed. The grain deal is over, there is nothing stopping Russian dominance of the Black Sea now. Erdogan has also been a fool (over getting a few old US F-16s) and already Snake Island is under bombardment from the Russians.
Thanks again for your high level of professional analysis Larry. I would really like seeing you, Ray McGovern, and Andrei Martyanov all together on a video again. Such an extraordinary triumvirate of knowledge.
I doubt Russia will be able to, nor think that it can exert dominance over the Black Sea. They can foil NATO’s dominance over the Black Sea, which was the overriding reason for supporting Crimea’s secession in the first place.
“… then they are just plain stupid and a suicide cult.”
Yep. That’s Ukraine, aka. anti-Russia. The defining characteristic of it, is hate of everything Russian (which, ironically, includes themselves).
So bizarre, first Turkey off the deep end, then rioting France off too, with the UK talking martial law.
“Brexit planners are considering imposing martial law in the event of a no-deal Brexit”
And of course Hunter Biden’s laptop is reaching a horrify mafia crescendo so I was guessing that Biden would vote for NATO membership to Ukraine just to hide behind some other topic.
Honestly I think Putin and Russia look like the only solvent, sane people in the entire world right now.
China is the big winner here. India also has potential. Iran is doing good too. As matter of fact, most of the people outside USA/EU/NATO look more-or-less sane to me.
Some commentators on the NATO meeting and pictures circulating of an apparently distraught Zelensky, have pointed out that before he was the leader of the Democratic Republic of Ukranistan, he was a brilliant comedian and actor.
They have concluded that despite the sad facade displayed by Zelensky, he actually got promised the “moon and the stars” by NATO leaders. Not that they can actually fulfill any promises made to Mr. “Z”, especially in view of the rapid implosion of the EU, NATO nations and the US, but they had to convince him that they are squarely behind him, come hell or high water.
After all NATO and the West are well versed in stringing people along, while they are doing the total opposite of what they say. Remember the Minsk agreements and the “NATO will not advance another inch”?
