Nice precedent Joe Biden. Way to go Attorney General Merrick Garland. You guys, along with your sychophants, are transforming America from Reagan’s City of Light on a Hill into a Third World autocracy. Murderers, rapists and pedophiles get the kid glove treatment while supporters of Donald Trump, who “trespassed” on to the grounds of the U.S. Capitol (the ironically named People’s house), are denied habeus corpus and left to rot in jail. To hell with the rule of law. The United States now is in the grasp of political partisans who use the law and the police to pursue their own special interests and to punish their political opponents.
Donald Trump’s place in history is now secure. He has been the target of a coup since the very start of his Administration. The coup plotters, which include senior officials in the FBI, the Department of Justice and the Intelligence Community, first pushed the fabrication that Trump was conspiring with Russia to steal the election. That was a lie. Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller failed spectacularly to make a case against Trump. Donald Trump also faced two impeachment trials and beat them both. And now the January 6th Committee is accusing Trump of treason for raising the legitimate question about a possible fraudulent Presidential election. The Washington Establishment is terrified of Trump and is desperate to destroy him. Trump is an existential threat to the status quo.
I am not here to argue that Trump was a perfect President. He was not. His personnel choices–especially his selections to head the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff–were appalling and have come back to bite him in the ass. I know one intelligence officer who regularly briefed Trump. That person also had prior experience briefing Presidents Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. According to my friend, the President who was most attentive, asked the best questions and treated the “help” with respect was Donald Trump. Whatever his other faults, Trump’s treatment of the little people does say something positive about Trump’s character.
When Trump was President he had the authority to classify and declassify information. Before he left office, Trump declassified intelligence and law enforcement documents that exposed the nature of the plot to force him from office. He acted legally and within the constraints of the Constitution. When he took those documents with him he was fully entitled to do so. We will find out whether or not Trump secured those documents somewhere beyond the reach of the FBI or at least kept copies in a safe location.
The real damage from this attack on Donald Trump is that it completely destroys whatever vestige of moral standing the United States once enjoyed. The United States still enjoys lecturing and hectoring other countries, including China and Russia, for their illegal acts against their citizens. There was a time when a speech by the U.S. President about human rights and upholding the rule of law meant something. I also realize there is a legitimate argument from my foreign friends that the U.S. never deserved a benefit of the doubt because of its activities in overthrowing governments in Iran, Guatemala, Iraq and South Vietnam.
But what happened today in Mar a Lago is a watershed moment. No U.S. President, especially Joe Biden, can stand before the United Nations and demand that other countries shed themselves of corrupt leaders. Foreign leaders will be more than happy to hold up a mirror and tell the American leader, look at yourself. Whatever status the United States had as a beacon of freedom in a world rife with authoritarian regimes is in tatters.
The United States now resembles Ukraine circa 2014. The elected President, Viktor Yanukovych, was removed from office via a coup launched with the help of western intelligence agencies. A successor suitable to the United States and NATO was installed and then took actions that sparked the start of the 8 year civil war in the Donbas. Given Donald Trump’s broad support among a large segment of the American population, this attack of Trump is likely to create a dangerous rift between the public and the masters who rule Washington, DC.
I also worry that this will have some unpleasant economic consequences. The United States, even during the dark days of the Civil Rights movement in the 60s and the war in Vietnam, was still seen as a financial safehaven. In the past, wealthy foreigners could park billions of dollars in U.S. financial institutions and have some assurance that their riches were safe. If that comes into question (and some insist that is already the case in light of asset seizures of Russian oligarchs and Chinese officials), then we could enter a period of increased economic chaos.
What do you think?
Larry,
You understate the case. This is a turning point. The foolish FBI agents who participated in it – and their bosses – will eventually pay a terrible price for their criminal stupidity.
I dont see how the FBI, or any member of the current govt’ will ever be charged/punished for any of their actions. The majority of the MIC is firmly behind them.
He probably just meant “it all falls back to the people” to put the FBI to justice…
But since the masses are sheep that likely won’t happen, and so your scenario seems a lot more probable….
I think us Americans will pay the price for the FBI’s blatant criminality. We are already paying for it in the form a two-tiered justice system that incarcerates old men with the “wrong” opinions for process crimes, that raids journalists with the “wrong” opinions homes and offices, while felonious democrats such as Hunter Biden more often than not walk free.
Wow.
Why do smart people get so caught up in their prejudices that can’t see straight?
Bad politics and awful optics to have the FBI go to Mar a Lago, but that’s it. Nothing more deeper than that.
So, Larry, you can clearly see the nonsense surrounding the Russian SMO, but not Trump?
You know, the Trump that packed his administration with aggressive neocons. Mike Pompeo and John Bolton, anyone? How is this any better than Hillary if you are really an America first patriot?
And then his sleazy business dealings, tax evasion, Jared’s billion $ deal, should I go on?
What about his constantly shifting rhetoric? The guy didn’t stand for anything. He lost the election because he did not deliver. Many, and I mean many democrats would have voted for him even if he had deliver a fraction of the promises. Empty hot air that gets AM radio listeners excited does not count.
Pedos, rapists, “trespassers” in the Capitol? Really? Jesus bro, get a grip.
“He lost the election because he did not deliver”.
So, Dan you are saying that there was no fraud at all in that election? It was a “free and fair” election and The Donald lost b/c he didn’t get the votes that Brandon got?
No election is free and fair. If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying, is how the US system works. Biden and the democrats were better at cheating than the Trump and his republicans in that election cycle. Now the dems are in charge and they operate under then philosophy of to my friends everything and to my enemies the law.
All the last few US presidents have their corrupt sleazy side.
Are you saying Clinton with his Epstein connection and dirty deals everywhere is clean
Or that the Bush family who helped funds Nazis and enrich Haliburton are clean?
What about Obama blowing up Libya for fun and pretending Syria used chem weapons, destroying small banks, moving majority real estate ownership to banks 68% down to 50’s ordinary person real estate ownership.
How come no one goes after these war criminals, who get top jobs for their families and do the dirtiest of deals. How come it’s just one president targeted?
If you are going to fire nukes you had better be prepared to provide the evidence. Back up your accusations or STFU! I will settle for links. I won’t hold my breath.
Baseless and partisan dribble. Here’s a list of “he didn’t stand for anything”
accomplishments. Trump isn’t a politically correct guy and quite frankly I am sick and tired of those that revolve their life around feelings. Take responsibility and be accountable for your own actions. This starts with not writing lies but writing the truth. That means the TRUTH, not your truth, Daniel James. Like him or hate him, he did a good job as President. Here are his administration’s accomplishments for your perusal Mr. James.:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/donald-trump?source=%2Fwashington-secrets%2Ftrumps-list-289-accomplishments-in-just-20-months-relentless-promise-keeping
Read it and recall where we were just a couple of short years ago. Life was better for just about everyone in our country. Now we are all getting taxed 20-30% more per year due to inflation and have an unstable world disorder. I don’t think I need go further but I will go one more: the poor and the middle
class are paying the worst price from the ineptitude of the current administration and that is unacceptable. We do not have 10% inflation. It’s much higher than that and sending billions each day to Ukraine helps nobody except you know who and his close circle of gangsters.
Thanks Alek. I’m with you on this. The hatred of Trump should be classified as a mental disorder. I can understand disliking his tweets and some of his rough talk. But hate? Trump did a lot of good inspite of being actively sabotaged.
Who exactly will exact this terrible price? FedGov is corrupt from top to bottom. All institutions and most corporations are compromised. Or do you mean the ‘mountain of guns’ of the fat patriots that are either rusting or well-oiled and unfired even after enduring far worse outrages than what sparked the first American Revolution. Please articulate who will be meting out this justice in clear detail, as it reeks of Normie Boomer Copium.
Thats the problem. There is no accountability. I doubt anyone will get punished for this.
They will ..from whom and when?
As far as I can tell the corrupt Left is thriving. When Republicans gain control they do nothing. Pervert Dennis Hasteart, then John Boehner followed by thr traitorous Paul Ryan did nothing to thwart the Dems. Heck, they were in cahoots with them.
Chuck, there is no history that would indicate any FIB agent will be punished. You got a better chance of finding a polar bear in The Congo, than seeing any, ANY democRat punished for anything
About the ”elites” in general, they are so desperate, they are taking even more extreme actions every single day.
Connecting the dots, they know their end is near…
What happens when people awake to the deceit of Totalitarian-Lite posing as liberty and individualism (let alone democracy)?
Well, this piece is from the leading Establishment journal from the Deep-State-linked, Anglosphere, the Daily Telegraph:
“This is the summer before the storm. Make no mistake, with energy prices set to rise to unprecedented highs, we are approaching one of the biggest geopolitical earthquake in decades. The ensuing convulsions are likely to be of a far greater order of magnitude than those that followed the 2008 financial crash, which sparked protests culminating in the Occupy Movement and the Arab Spring …
“Carnage has already arrived in the developing world, with power outages from Cuba to South Africa. Sri Lanka is just one of a cascade of low-income countries where leaders face being driven out of power in an ignominious blaze of petrol droughts and loan defaults.
“But the West is not going to escape this Armageddon. In fact, in many ways, it looks set to be its epicentre – and Britain, its Ground Zero. In Europe and America, a technocratic élite system built on mythology and complacency is crumbling. Its founding fable – which prophesied the nation states’ glorious enmeshment in world government and supply chains – has metastasised into a parable of the perils of globalisation.
“This time, élites cannot shirk responsibility for the consequences of their fatal errors … Put simply, the emperor has no clothes: The Establishment simply has no message for voters in the face of hardship. The only vision for the future it can conjure up is Net Zero – a dystopian agenda that takes the sacrificial politics of austerity and financialisation of the world economy to new heights. But it is a perfectly logical programme for an élite that has become unhinged from the real world”.
So you are saying “the leading Establishment journal from the Deep-State-linked, Anglosphere, the Daily Telegraph” has changed its spots? If they are Deep-State-linked, why are they writing about the elites as becoming unhinged? Something doesn’t add up. On which date did this appear in the Daily Telegraph? I’m not British so I do not know anything about this Daily Telegraph.
Thank you! Well said! We need to get away from blaming buyden. This is a globalist agenda! Until folks truly innerstand this, it’s futile. This is much larger than right vs left. The elites want us to keep it that way. Once light is shown on this evil, it will fall. This is a spiritual battle, disguised as a political war. No more a conspiracy.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/08/01/catastrophic-energy-crisis-will-fuel-revolt-against-failed-elites/
Behind a paywall.
I stopped referring to the White House as the Biden Administration but the Biden Regency. He is controlled by Marxists’ Technocrats. Like the reigning monarch being incapacitated and having a regency to govern the country like King George III, king of England in the late 1700s.
Labels like Marxist don’t fit these guys.
They have no wider ideology.
They are mafia. In it for themselves. Biden is part of the mafia.
Left and right don’t apply. This is about money and power.
Correct.
This is, and always has been, a globalist agenda! The globalists want us stuck in the minutia of right vs left, and that’s just not so. This is a spiritual battle, disguised as a political war. We are the last hope.
LJ, this day will be forever etched in our history as a precursor to the detriment of our Republic. All DOJ/FBI actions are erroneous as of this action against the former President! Their actions 92 days prior to a midterm that will turn the tide from Dem to Republican are tyrannical…..not to mention the former President will vie for the white house in 2024 makes this an assault on us all.
We got along fine for 100 some years without a secret police force. The FBI should be disbanded.
Texting with friends. We all feel it. This is it. They’ve fired on Ft. Sumpter. They’ve crossed the Rubicon. The time for talking is over. It gets real from here.
Concur!
Après vous, mon brave. I’m right behind you…and I’ll bet the only one. The rest are mowing the lawn or watching the fights.
Well, lets see, the Ukrainian front is not working out, a new front seems to be opening in Taiwan, and now a third front just opened up in Washington. Things seem to be falling apart.
This year America has seen incredible fuckery!
This beyond insane and an act of such extreme desperation that everyone should look at this and become a conspiracy theorist.
There something that they are desperate to hide, that they fear will come out when the Dems get booted out.
I have a few suspicions as to what it is, both involve Ukraine and US connections. It’s not just the normal corruption and money laundering but something serious enough to risk a civil war over.
I don’t expect the spineless RINOs to lift a finger here, so it looks it it will be up to us.
If we stand by and do nothing then in the words of Solzenitzen, we quite frankly deserve whatever happens to us.
Or as Benjamin Franklin said about those willing to give up their liberty…
We’re generally on the same page. Nice work. Found you via comments in Saker. Only 5-10% of people have any inkling as to what’s going on, most ex-mil fully Smedley Butler’d.
Ex-National Security State rogue here… also a son of American Revolution but on opposite side! Nowhere else to go now. Events today will unite many people. How deep will our counter-purge to go?
We are living in worrisome times. Looks like the DC elites have crossed the “rubicon” I never dreamed I might outlive America.
We have been a Banana Republic for quite some time.
It’s taken some time for all of this to rise close enough to the surface that it can’t be hidden any longer from even those trying hard not to see.
Also consider Christopher Wray who literally walked out of a Senate hearing to catch a plane to … where? Florida?
Walked out of a hearing. Says it all.
But Orwell said it well in 1984:
“Until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious.”
He flew to the Adirondacks for a vacation. Foul creep.
Nicely put. The 80% is beginning to dwindle in size.
One does get the sense of the impending end of days from what is transpiring in the republic. I concur with Alexander Paulsen, above, in that desperation (even panic) has set in within certain power structures at the federal level, leading to dysfunction in the ability of the President and Congress to properly manage the affairs of the nation and look after the interests of their primary constituency, the American people, regardless of political orientation. The federal government now seems to be acting in isolation from and even against the welfare of the people. The trust horizon shrinks.
Consequently, I predict within the next few years a significant and most importantly informal devolution of power to the individual states of the union, with the federal authorities (such as they are) unable to stop the process. My only hope is that this doesn’t lead to friction between the states, as that would be a prelude to civil war under those circumstances. My advice for now is to polish your mental OODA loop.
The fall of the Soviet Union was marked by a weird turn of events. i heard a story about a government thug sole a lrather chair from a hotel in the chaos. His neighbor was pissed at him for an earlier issue and heard the government neighbor’s supervisor badmouthing the government emp!oyee at a bar. The neighbor went and took the chair for his house.
His government employee neighbor confronted him and was told the theft would be reported to his boss. That could mean loss of job, housing, school for kids. The chair stayed at its new home. There were stories more lethal in which the neighbors, rivals, family members were eliminated for barter. Police were concerned about their own and feared involvement
Hope this does not happen but good to keep an open mind for any eventuality.
As empires collapse, they turn inward on their own. Expect more and worse…
Collapse is inevitable. The Beltway establishment refuses to reform.
There will be no price paid for the move against Trump at least domestically. You are acting like America still is a legitimate government. There was a coup. We are a conquered nation and the new rulers will not tolerate true dissent.
You can’t vote them out. They can openly rig the election. You can pressure them out. They control the press and all the intelligence services and DOJ as well as the financial world and social media.
Is the voters rebel, Jan 6 shows they will pay a price unlike the people who burn down cities for the dead black criminal du jour.
There comes a time when it becomes obvious to all that something has to be done. As a Brit I don’t know the full ins and outs of the American system but it does strike me that now would be a good time for the red side of the country to start seriously discussing seperating from the blue.
I don’t understand how red states can continue to contribute to the farce that is Washington. I suspect it would be a lot easier to do than one might think and there is a constitution ready and waiting to be adopted and cared for by the departing parties.
If my understanding of the geography of the US is correct republican states would leave with most of the coal, oil, gas, food and mineral wealth. Enough to be fully independent, a bit like Russia. The newly formed group would have considerable economic clout at a time when that will be sorely needed.
The biggest likely problem would be illegal immigration from blue states though some could be classed as refugees.
The conservative states can destroy the democrat strongholds. As you note, the food and energy comes from conservative territory. Truckers tend to be conservative. The democrats live in big cities that have about a week’s worth of surplus, relying totally on food and fuel being trucked in, have lots of criminals ready to form violent anarchy and can easily be cordoned via the choke points (hiways, bridges and rail) that lead into the cities. Conservatives are well armed, many are combat veterans. Democrats are not well armed and are pussies, except for the blacks, who are prone to predating on anything in sight, but lack the ability to form a grand strategy to do anything of consequence.
Not sure the conservative states will be able to mobilize that easily. Also, they’ll be up against either a federalized national guard (or, even worse, the US army / military) taking orders from the Democrats.
Besides, isn’t the younger generation there predominately liberal anyway? (Or, just in their bigger cities?)
A simple farmers and truckers protests, like in the Netherlands, would send the democrat cities into a final death spiral. Block the choke points into the cities. The feral inhabitants would cannibalize their erstwhile white liberal alleged benefactors, figuratively and maybe even literally. Then conservative states should refuse to follow federal laws and refuse to pay federal taxes. No need to come out of the gate shooting.
The younger generation in the cities is liberal, but not so much in rural areas.
The rift in this country is now 100% irreparable. The die is cast. It’s going to be civil war. The trajectory cannot be corrected. It’s just a matter of when and what flash point. The quislings in power have proven that they do not respect what they call the “deplorable” half of the country; not do they respect Constitutional processes like the Supreme Court and the peaceful transfer of power post election.
Agree completely on the financial issue. No one’s money is safe. If you are deemed an enemy of the state, your money will be seized. Anyone can be deemed an enemy of the state.
Has everyone seen this?

Larry,
Let cut the head of the beast from the beginning.
There is no such thing as democracy (Demos-people + Kratos-rule). I doubt it existed in the Ancient Greece but let keep the antiquity beautiful. Maybe in an ideal place that may be true in a small community, but NEVER in a large one.
Humans are group animals like many other mammals. Each group has a leader, most of the time an alpha male, and few contenders to the position. That is the democracy, if you are weak or old, there are few to take your leadership spot. Besides some very tense relationships between the females close to the leader, nobody cares what’s going on with the leadership; as long there is food, some place to sleep, and to raise the young.
In a group you NEVER can make a choice unrestricted because there is a power structure already in place, so here goes the democracy argument.
As a PR argument, for fake ideas, democracy works very well for the masses, who tend to believe that they matter. They don’t because the ideas, means of delivery, and controls are not even remotely in the reach of the DEMOS.
Most of the people just want to be left alone. They don’t want to think for themselves, (your head hurts if you think), they just want to copy the whatever leader says, as long there is food, some place to sleep, and to raise the young.
In this situation we can’t talk about free choice, democracy, or any other fancy ideas.
So, lets cut the crap with democracy. :]
The United States of America’s government — IS a 3rd whirled despot. Period.
Love your work. Thanks!
Trump was under heavy surveillance prior to his announced candidacy in 2016. He wanted rapprochement with Russia hence the state spun up the Russia collusion story. It made sense to him to work with the Russians to fight the Jihadists.
Since then they have taken out everyone and everything around him and got nothing. His personal attorney-nothing, his taxes-nothing, his COO-nothing, his election finances-nothing, his foundation-nothing, his properties -nothing, his bankruptcies-nothing and most of all his mortgages, loans, appraisals and debt. In an age where a wrong check mark on a mortgage application can get you 20 years in prison they got nothing.
Now consider Merrick Garland and the crew that has been attacking his for 20 years. Are they going to get it done?
All presidents have presidential libraries that are archives of documents collected. Talk about firing up the base. Personally I am stunned by their move but I should not be surprised. They know the polling and it looks really really bad for them. Hail Mary not full of grace is their prayer
“What do you think?”
The do-nothing US blog-readers/writers will have something to talk about for a few weeks, while liberty will again yield. Sorry, I’ve seen this script too many times.
Ah, a cynic. The Greeks would have loved you.
Larry,
Good that you tied together the lawlessness of the FBI raid with this lawlessness of the Russian citizen asset seizures by Treasury. It’s a reasonable assumption that foreigners are quietly pulling their investments out of the USA. De-dollarization is going to have a profound negative effect on all of us.
The closest parallel is Spain Society in the 1920s. Let’s hope and pray we can avoid a Spanish Civil War scenario.
Larry, if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck then it might be a duck. When recent history shows that this script has been seen too many times. It is not cynical but based on observation. Even science used to be based on observation.
Good article, keep up the good work.
The irony is the election was 100 % stolen and Januaru 6 was the bare minimum that should have happened.
Fbi raid at marlago will not be forgotten
Larry, you gotta have big balls, l mean, really big balls.
America is in terminal, self destruction. The detonation will be coast to coast as with the UK and EU.
Beware of the, “Night of the Long Knives.”
I still have faith the US military, at the brigade level. As in the old typing exercise.
“ Now is the time for all good men too come to the aid of the party.” (people)
Polish your boots Larry, remember old soldiers never look at their heels.
You are right about the loss of our country, Larry. But really he is to blame. He surrounded himself with obvious enemies and allowed the cancer to fester. He never followed through on anything, to include leading the patriots to Congress on Jan 6. He should have called on the American people in no uncertain terms to save the Republic while we still could and GEN Flynn should have issued a call to veterans to join him. Jan 6 could have been the start of the retaking of our country. He didn’t, they didn’t, we didn’t, and he went out a coward, releasing Jewish spies while letting Assange and Snowden flap in the wind. I do not hold him in high regard, and this is the inevitable result of being indecisive when courage is needed.
It’s actually much older than “Iran, Guatemala, Iraq and South Vietnam”; No, the US has never had any moral standing since it massacred a continent of its legitimate peoples for its own use. Then, it proceeded to create wars everywhere, for profit.
Maybe to you, Americans, “a [US president’s] speech about human rights and upholding the rule of law meant something”, but do not kid yourselves: it has never meant anything other than lies and hypocrisy to the rest of the world (excluding maybe the 12% of NATO).
We have clearly seen US for what it is, and it’s blatantly dropping whatever thin veil it had on so far.
Being born in Germany in 65, visiting relatives in New York in 87, military as soldier in the infantry, becoming an engineer later working in Japan and Korea, married to a real russian girl, I wonder what is up in the world now. Though I claim that I do have much more experience about the world, I still can’t believe what seems to happen now.
Larry: What will happen in the USA? Will people just swallow everything, being so passive because of the Smartphones, or will some revolution come up?
It is easy to write here in the internet about injustice and big trouble, but what else will happen aside from angry comments?
I experienced the fall of the Berlin wall in 89 from West Germany. I tell you that months before, people started to go to the street, risking not their lives, but their reputation in a communist state. I don’t see anything like that in the USA. So, will the frustration cause more than angry comments? I am in Germany, and my relatives in the USA all passed away. Please tell me: Will there be more than Blabla? How could the Boston tea party have such consequences with so few people involved?
The US has overtaken Britain to become the most detested nation on the planet. You reap what you sow and from, at least 1971, America has become a world parasite, sucking the life-blood out of every country it possibly could, irrespective of the carnage caused. With circa 800 military bases worldwide and the arrogant division of the planet into GEOGRAPHIC COMBATANT COMMANDS ( Centcom, Indopacom etc etc ) and even the hubristic “Spacecom” it, egotistically, believed it’s own propaganda about being indispensable and exceptional. You can’t genocide countless millions, destroy entire countries and cultures and expect no payback. Karma is real and alive and is about to pay a, long overdue, visit to the USA. Whether it is a civil war or a horrendous slap from a peer country, it’s coming and a lot quicker than most think !
Fair go mate, you have to be an exceptional nation to be more despised than the British and yes, mission accomplished.
( and it’s their only mission that can be considered a victory)
I really do not see where people are getting this idea that TPTB in Washington/NY/London/Langley are beginning to panic and act in desperation. What I see is a power structure that has grown so strong, so pervasive throughout America from top-to-bottom and from shore to shore that they are now beginning to take off the mask and are confident enough to show their true selves – over-confident, arrogant, wildly and carelessly irresponsible, openly disdainful of the people.
These people are not panicking. They are not acting in desperation. They are evil, Satanic and feeling their power more by the day.
Bush Jr let the cat out of the bag when he made two statements I shall always remember – “What’s the Constitution? Just a piece of paper!” – imaging! A president of the United States sworn to uphold that document and the principles behind it. And speaking in front of an open mic at a fund-raising dinner with the elite one evening calmly proclaimed, “THIS is MY constituency!”
I knew then beyond all doubt that America was surely gone.
1913 – take control of the money
1963 – take control of the government
2001 – replace the government with a police state.
I agree. They are not desperate, not panicked. They are full of confidence and sense they cannot be stopped. So they more openly do whatever they want to.
Yup. Soros bought the prosecutor’s. Garland is crooked. The FBI and CIA at any level that matters they own. The banks are with them, the money they have it. The power they have it.
Destroy Russia and China before they outcompete America.
Destroy Trump before the next election.
Do it early enough that there is time for voters to forget.
Let in loads of illegals expand voting base bribe voters with benefits, cheat, rig the system, kills the courts and win.
There is no fear here. It’s a mafia mindset. They are devouring their opposition. If they win. This world will be hell. Forget America. All the world.
This is a war of the world mafia versus the rest.
Does America have the heart to fight. I don’t think enough do yet…let’s see.
I think the US of A has behaved like a third world despot (one of its many puppets) since its inception. But then I read real history books and have no allegiances to any flag or anything, just the human race.
I highly recommend the documentary film work of Scott Noble, especially his 5 part Plutocracy series if you want a short hand history lesson to get up to speed. He makes ken burns look like the phony woke imperialist that he is!
In Germany many Russians are selling their properties and returning to the Motherland. Many of these Russian are high educated (IT), are proud to be Russian and see Germany as a country without brains that offers no opportunities anymore to people with brains. I’m afraid that the same will happen with the Chinese Americans (or even the Asian Americans) in the US. They notice how brains are drained in the US and at the same time they notice how China (& Asia) offers opportunities for those who are blessed with brains. What will remain of the Hegemon/the Empire when there are no brains left to explore & use new opportunities? What will remain is a woke narcissist bunch of no-brainers who are brainlessly leading the US into civil war with what is left of the Christian heritage within the US.
In Europe the question of ‘to be or not to be’ will be solved by North Stream II. At the moment the anti-North Stream II elites are ruling, but their days are numbered. Common sense will prevail: be on the side of the winner.
Almost a nationalistic form of “going Gault”.
After confiscating Russian Rubles, any central bank would need to be insane to keep assets in US$, and various commentators have indicated there is an outflow. The US will try and lock an increasingly uncompetitive Europe in a financial stranglehold that probably will be a pyrrhic strategy for the US and the printing presses will keep going brrr until the paper is worthless and the overseas empire will no longer be able to run on IOUs.
And after Canada seized bank accounts of citizens who simply wanted to support protesting, peaceful truckers, everyone should have some gold and silver tucked away.
May God bless you who live in the USA, it is prophesied the US is to be cleansed, how will that happen, war, disease, pestilence, famine, flood, drought, infrastructure collapse, tsunami add what you like, it has begun and it will accelerate, cities will be ghost cities, there will be very few survivor’s throughout the continental USA , but there will be some, the more righteous among you. Look to God your Father in heaven. Live to be worth of a millenial life. As for the rest of the world, ‘all nations will be at war’ , prepare now, you want to have clean hands and a pure heart and above all charity, even the pure love of Christ.
Farewell and God bless.
A bit dramatic. They’re not dead yet.
It’s afraid, very afraid…..
The US has a loathsome disease, broadly called immorality, in our leaders, or better called controllers. Our politicians are amoral cowards. The disease and its symptoms can be seen in everything we do from Ukraine, to immigration, electioneering, social corruption, judges, juries, lawyers, medical research, and our attitudes toward freedom and responsibility as leaders. Servant leaders? Financial responsibility? The symptoms of decay go on and on. We have cancer.
We caught it from the Whore of Babylon via the City of London
I apologize to whomever for associating in any way the word “cancer” with loathsome. You made a correct association, with a venereal disease.
Hannah Arendt made the sensible point that European nineteenth century imperialism helped to pave the way for the horrors of the 1914-45 period in Europe. Treating colonial citizens arbitrarily and sometimes brutally set the precedent for behaving in the same way at home.
I believe that we are seeing the same thing in the US, and increasingly across the whole west. The rule of law is increasingly avoided or manipulated to get the result that is wanted. The US is even in the habit of boasting about killing its overseas enemies with drones but without trial. It has also imprisoned overseas citizens for over two decades without trial and seems routinely to plot regime changes in other countries. It also seeks extra territorial jurisdiction against people such as Julian Assange. Not to mention the various bombings and invasions that have allegedly been in the name of democracy, as well as its inability to do diplomacy in any way other than by bullying.
If a state behaves like this against foreigners then it is but a short step to behave the same way against its own citizens and even (or especially) against ex Presidents that the current regime dislikes. True banana republic territory.
This descent into arbitrary state power needs to be opposed. In the fictionalized words of Sir Thomas More: “I would give the devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake.” But sadly the law is increasingly not used fairly and has become politicized. It is increasingly like the “law” that the Soviets used: there is a process that looks fair but everyone knows that in reality it is not. 1984 is arriving.
Evil times.
The most likely outcome if the Republicans gain the House in November will be House investigations that go nowhere and get scant media attention.
However, withthe Dems having crossed the Rubicon, we can expect a full-court press to ensure the November elections do not result in a change of control of Congress.
Sorry my friend but elections no longer matter – it’s a waste of time even considering them.
Withhold your consent to be governed – don’t vote
‘They’ve fired on Ft Sumter. They’ve crossed the Rubicon.’
Now, in a REAL banana republic, ‘dissidents within the security forces’ would doxx the agents who participated in the raid, and they would confront a howling mob of MAGA people pelting them with rotten eggs and tomatoes next time they open their front doors.
I’d be delighted to be proven wrong, but my bet is that, if stealing an election only resulted in a few thousand unruly but ‘mostly peaceful’ boomers in MAGA hats holding an unauthorized rally in the Capitol, there will be no real reaction to the Maralago raid … none that would make individual federal agents urgently ponder a career change.
Sadly, Americans have allowed a banana-republic regime to seize power, but they – and Trump supporters in particular – remain the stodgy, law-abiding Anglo Saxons who, as Trotsky pointed out, are simply clueless about the nature and requirements of revolution. And in this case, by extension, counterrevolution.
You got it right, Larry. ABOLISH THE F B FUCKING I! For a start, then continue from there.
USA has finally used it OWN CIA FOREIGN COUP PLAYBOOK (overthrow people elected leaders, Arrest them, Bring New Laws to CENSOR the rebelling people, Kill Dissenters). Examples= Ukraine, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Cuba, Syria. I have been telling my friends, that sooner or later USA will use this SAME PLAYBOOK within itself… my friends laughed at me.. but not anymore. Biden’s (SKETCHY election WIN).. Republicans rebelling.. are all GLIMPSES of 2 USA (Republican + Sensible Democrats vs WOKE Democrats). Now with the FBI RAID of trump… WOKE Democrats have FINALLY started IMPLEMENTING the CIA FOREIGN COUP PLAYBOOK… and i can actually FORESEE that u will eventually come to an ARMED CONFLICT between the 2 USA. This will first start as SMALL ARMED CONFLICTS between Republican side and FBI (which is now simply Democrat’s MILITIA). The FBI (Militia) will then go on HARD against the Republican Armed groups… which will then result in MORE SEVERE ARMED REBELLION (with Heavier Arms). And then the “theater” concludes with a PARTITIONED USA.
I know this SOUNDS FAR FETCHED.. and YOU MIGHT even think I’M AN IDIOT, for thinking that this could happen. Let me give you MY SIMPLE reasoning = Whenever you try to SILENCE a SIGNIFICANT POPULATION (by banning their LANGUAGE or RELIGION or BELIEFS), they will ALWAYS REBEL (its basic Human Nature). See some examples below:
1) Ukraine, they BANNED the RUSSIAN LANGUAGE + CULTURE (so they Rebelled, Civil War erupted)
2) Sri Lanka in 1980s did the same, they BANNED the TAMIL LANGUAGE + CULTURE + Tamil Ancient Artifacts WERE BURNED. (so they Rebelled, Civil War erupted between Tamils vs Sinhalese 1983-2009)
3) India PARTITION in 1947, was because there was 2 INDIA (HINDU India vs MUSLIM India). The hatred between them was so severe that HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS DIED on BOTH SIDES. And so before the BRITISH RAN, they SPLIT INDIA into 2 PARTS. Thus, India and Pakistan were born in 1947.
And hence… i see USA following this same route.

The largest nuclear plant in Europe is being shelled by Ukraine (and its controllers). The US president either can’t get them to stop or supports the policy. Well, he couldn’t stop No No Nanette, could he? Does Your Cranium have something on smokin’ Joe?
Our out to pasture club recently mulled over these questions but reached no firm conclusions. Any suggestions?
It’s seems obvious Biden is not able to lead. Who is running the country?
Was the plan to contain Russia and China put on hold for four years due to Clinton’s loss? Is that plan being hurriedly acted upon now? Is the plan failing because Russia and China have had time to prepare?
Interesting comment on GAB:
“Found this:
Look up Bruce E Reinhart, the judge who signed the warrant. Pretty interesting, huh.
Bruce Reinhart once quit his job as a U.S. Attorney to work for Jeffrey Epstein, the multimillionaire accused sex trafficker who was being targeted in a probe by the U.S. Attorney’s office.
As reported in the Miami Herald on November 28, 2018:
Epstein also hired Bruce Reinhart, then an assistant U.S. attorney in South Florida, now a U.S. magistrate.
He left the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Jan. 1, 2008, and went to work representing Epstein’s employees on Jan. 2, 2008, court records show.
In 2011, Reinhart was named in the Crime Victims’ Rights Act lawsuit, which accused him of violating Justice Department policies by switching sides, implying that he leveraged inside information about Epstein’s investigation to curry favor with Epstein.”
Now that is certainly an interesting fact.
And it will only get worse. The only thing that will change is the victim. This is a direct result of our foreign policy.
We built a massive infrastructure to undermine other countries. Our Intel agencies are filled with hammers looking for nails. If you spend your day looking for any means to take out Syria then what is there to stop you from thinking , ‘hmm … I could use the same tactics to ‘save’ our own country’.
Truth seekers are getting quite rare in America. Just this morning I tried searching for Larry C. Johnson commentary on Youtube and I found only a few very dated examples. The worst is still to come and I wonder if a change in the White House will matter for what is no longer a country I recognize.
FWWI,

Same here in Germoney. All Institutions are corrupted, seized by dumb people from the Establishment with the will, to act against the people. (Act against the Regime – Prison, rape as an Asylant little children – Probation.)
Only the AfD tries to act against the Establishment, but they are political marginalized.
(The constitunal court is seized by a Clown named Harbarth, an former CDU Co-faction leader in the Bundestag, same with Minion Haldenwang, Chief of Constitution defense.)
After Trump failed, I have lost all my Hope. (And lost some Old Friends about my Hope.) The resolution of this mess will be forceful.
And many thanks to Larry for his Blog.
There’s talk in Asia that the US govt is just not reliable anymore- the many coups, failure to bring EU and Ukraine to abide by the Minsk agreements, withdrawing unilaterally from the JCPOA, crossing red lines drawn by Russia and China (UKR and TWN issue) even when clearly and repeatedly stated…
everything is seemingly done to benefit the “Western” idealogy with neither the recognition that we are one on planet earth nor strategic objectives for US and/or the region.
with what the US/west is doing in Ukraine-Russia: the seizure of Russian foreign reserves + proxy wars + sanctions + control of media/propaganda… has really shown the true intent of the US/western elite…. they will do whatever it takes to preserve the world order in their favor: down to the last Ukrainian, while the corporates benefit from high oil prices, the military complex gets most of the land-lease money, while the politicians talk about democracy.
the Latin Americans, Indians and Saudis seem to be adopting this view as well.
the creation of the BRICS reserve currency, if widely adopted- will change the dominance of the USD. if countries start dumping those USDs and treasury bills, inflation will return to US… but with great costs to many countries.
its not going to help a lot if trump (or his ilk) returns and starts all the crazy policies again either.. lets hope he gets better staff.
and foreigners can tell that the US dream is a myth- the US citizens are getting the short end of the stick too…. racism is rife, failure to implement gun control laws, income inequality, high unemployment, the nonsensical dominance of the FIRE industries and the influence of the military-industrial complex is just insidious and malevolent.
the frustrating thing is that we’re pretty sure Joe the plumber in US doesnt want any of this nonsense from the US govt. the same goes for Sergey the carpenter in Russia and Wong the electrician in China. folks have more interests in common than their govts represent.
sheer madness.
all these while we’re facing climate change. maybe its necessary.
I think that anyone who knows and understands what really happened and are as appalled as I am need to make a concerted effort to (1) convince their bling ignorant friends and family about why this was bad regardless of what they think about Trump and (2) let’s get out there in Nov 22 and ‘24 and show these MF’s who really runs this country!!
The British feudal system first oppressed it’s own. Then the overseas territories.
Right now US looks like British feudal empire with its mad Kings reborn.
The problem with unjust application of law is loss of faith in the state.
The state has to move fast before citizens in the US in particular realise the extent of their evil and what has been done in their name using their money.
When I worked in London I met some of these people. They literally live in another reality. They see only their competitors. Their greatest fear is dropping down the ladder. It’s never enough. They also see the ordinary person as a dumb serf. Someone they talk to using half their brain who has no understanding of their reality.
Did Trump frustrate their plans. Absolutely. That’s why he will be neutered or dead most likely before next election. He is no perfect saviour. But he is a victim and a symbol. But also a warning of what the state us capable of.
If no one stands up for him given that. Then what’s left? Like it or not Trump is the face of the resistance. His losses are everyone’s losses. His humiliation is everyone’s humiliation.
Now or never.
Sometimes one really needs to make an example of one’s enemies. If Trump were to win the presidential post again, and if he were serious about destruction of the deep state, he could order the declassification of the US et alia interventions in Yugoslavia and Rwanda. The latter will shut up not only the deep state, but its European vassals as well.
As an example, Hillary Clinton played a large role in arranging witnesses to be suborned to perjury through death threats et cetera, to obtain a prosecution and conviction against an innocent man, Jean Paul Akayesu, thereby winning accolades from the US feminist movement.
During the civil wars in the US the UK decided to intervene militarily for the South and split America, taking effective control of that South.
Russia intervened with its navy to stop the Brits. To keep the US United. Or history could have been very different.
This time round the fault lines in the nation are so deep that only a division of the country can stop the rot spreading everywhere. What type of division and how long it will last remains to be seen.
But what is certain is that the rot will spread if there is no split. This time the bad guys will win.
What is the path forward?
Lobby for independence votes for states. Even if the vote it lost, the fact there is a movement and it takes place Will have an impact.
So what can people do? Starts serious movement to split.
It will be too late soon.
This time the South may save the North.
The F.B.I. raiding the home of a former-President of the United States – in effect their former boss…to take papers which he had legally in his possession. What does this tell us as citizens of this country?
The comments above tell what some of these citizens think about this act. And, surprisingly, many of them believe that the F.B.I. and the Justice Dept. will face legal repercussions. From whom they usually do not say.
Perhaps they still believe that there is some true justice operating somewhere in the Federal Government’s system. I believe they are in error. A criminal organization does not mete out justice on itself. Would the F.B.I. have done what it did if it thought there was ANY POSSIBILITY that they would be reprimanded? Who will police the police?
I’ve been thinking about this issue since even before the 2020 election was stolen – but surely if there ever was a greater act of injustice than that, one would have to go back to the original coup d’etat on November 22, 1963. But I digress…
My thinking have led me to conclude that they only way we citizens can do anything about this corruption in the Federal Government, is to exercise the very Federal system that created it by the Constitution. In other words, the United States of America is a federal political creation of the several sovereign States.
What needs to happen is this: some of these States must act as sovereign governments. It makes no sense to believe that we will have some kind of “revolution” from the grassroots citizenry. It is easy for the current Federal Government to put down any revolution arising from “We the People”, e.g. small enclaves of patriots banded together to fight the system.
No, there must be at least a modicum of legality attached to whatever entity rebels against the Federal Government in D.C. – and that means at least an entity the size of a State. One or more States must call the Federal Government to heel.
I remember back in November of 2020, days after the fraudulent election, that a number of States’ Attorneys General filed lawsuits against their fellow States alleging that those States violated the plaintiff States’ rights of equal protection under the Law in the way they handled the General Election in their States. I believe Texas led the way and almost immediately she was joined by many other States’ Attorney’s General.
Now this lawsuit went to the U.S. Supreme Court which failed to do anything about the obvious fraud and violation of equal protection, because it was part of the corrupt Federal Government – but still the whole exercise showed that the States can join together against the Federal Government. It is much more difficult for the Federal Government to attack entire States than it is for them to attack small coteries of “patriots” with no legal status.
I think the chickens are coming home to roost. Once we accepted the poison pill of the British Empire this was the inevitable result.
Don’t forget that the British directly interfered with the American Revolution on multiple occasions – Bacon’s Rebellion, 1776, and the Civil War. They were on the wrong side of history as far as we were concerned 3x in a row. How about that.
THEY ARE NOT OUR FRIENDS AND NEVER HAVE BEEN.
Well, while I will say that the motives of the FBI here clearly are political in nature, and have nothing to do with justice, this doesn’t bother me. Both parties are corrupt and rotten to the core (and this most assuredly includes Trump). In the past neither of them would do this to one another because they did not want the favor returned. The door is open now. I am going to enjoy watching these two parties destroy one another in a fit of psychotic rage. Pass the f*&$#@* popcorn.
The sooner this shitshow of a society collapses, the sooner we can start over and try something different.
Maybe just a tad humor in this day of over the top events and commentary: This is the guy who approved the raid; (42 sec video)

Add this to the overall weirdness we promote with gender(men have periods), and national shame for being the country that all races and creeds wanted to be a part of. I felt something was up when Obama was president and Putin had new cathedrals built. My ancestors fled the iron curtain-rhey would be disgusted with our embrace of sexual perversion and political correctness(woke crap).
Para nosotros los mexicanos, si estados unidos alguna vez fue un gran país, nos paso de Noche. siempre hemos considerado que el Gobierno de USA es un matón. Desde 1835!!!!
Entiendo.
