The Evolution of the U.S. Navy — From Camp to Full Blown Crazy

4 May 2023 by Larry Johnson 70 Comments

My initial reaction when I heard that news that the U.S. Navy thought it a swell idea to name a homosexual drag queen as their new recruitment Ambassador was to check the calendar to ensure it was not April 1 (i.e., April Fool’s Day). Nope. The people in charge of the U.S. Navy’s recruitment effort have lost their damned minds.

Joshua Kelly aka Harpy Daniels is being put forward by the Navy as a lure to entice more homosexuals and drag queens to sign up. The Navy has a long reputation of inappropriate sexual activity among crew members on long voyages. One of the jokes I heard while sitting in a SCIF (i.e., a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) goes as follows:

Why do sailors have tattoos on their backs?

So that the Marines will have something to read.

There was a time when Hollywood (and the Navy for that matter) used the idea of a dude dressing up as a lady as comic relief. Remember this song from South Pacific (I could not get the original with Mitzi Gaynor to post):

Forty four years ago (seems like an eternity now), Monty Python did a brilliant sketch in its equally brilliant film, Life of Brian. When I first saw this I thought it was hilarious. It is still hilarious, but I have now lived long enough to see the crazies in society embrace as “true” the notion that a man can have a baby.

If Monty Python tried to make that movie today they would be cancelled. Welcome to the world of Orwell.

The Chinese and Russians must be wondering if this is a bizarre psychological operation designed to lull them into complacency while the real U.S. Navy actually is recruiting dudes loaded with testosterone and muscles who insist on using the pronoun he or him.

Leave it to the Aussies to skewer the U.S. Navy for over consuming Bud Light:

If there was ever any doubt that the United States is careening towards a disaster, Harpy Daniels is undeniable proof that the United States is not ready to fight Somali pirates much less the Chinese.

More work for the corp of engineers to extend the power grid and install charger stations on the front. It’ll be easy for the enemy to find your tanks. Follow the extension cords

Hilarious! Extension cords….. Here’s the kicker. If there were a true “free market” the Chinese, with the introduction of an EV under $12,000 would shutter US automakers for good. We can’t innovate and compete with China so we start a war with 2 nuclear powers with ever dwindling military recruitment efforts. What a sad situation.

We’re going to catch up with China with gender studies and safe spaces. lol

The criteria our military is using for recruitment is demented. What exactly are they trying to “tap into”. The fact that they believe there is some relevance to obtaining brave souls to serve from this approach, proves their minds have been overtaken. They are indeed possessed.
    So damn pathetic and frustrating.

I’m sure thoroughly modern Milley support this. I’m surprised for music they didn’t use the Village People singing “In the Navy.” Maybe they’ll take Sandra Bullock’s line from Demolition Man when they head into battle – “let’s go blow ’em.”

I guess that in the Navy, “I’ve gt your back” has a whole different meaning.

A nation that denies the reality of gender and deliberately tries to confuse its own children on the issue will not be around much longer. God will deal with a nation when it degenerates to a certain level of immorality. Remember what happened to the ancient city of Sodom when it normalized rape; it was “nuked.” America brought nuclear weapons into the world and it was the first nation to nuke another. While you may argue whether that was justified or not, the fact is that America has become far more evil and corrupt than the nation it nuked in 1945. Of course, there are still millions of good and decent people in America but there were also many good and decent people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Nuclear weapons don’t discriminate. What goes around, comes around. Don’t be surprised to see mushroom clouds coming soon to a city near you.

And underlying it all is the drive to commit suicide by reality denial.
I’ve been around a while and I’m finding it hard to believe the things I see on a daily basis coming out of the woodwork. Seeing a US navy sailor starting to blubber and sniff because someone asked him for his preferred pronouns is an addition to that long list.
Seems like we’ve returned to the days of rum, sodomy and the lash, but all in high heels and a tiara. Instead of “join the navy and see the world” we now have “join the navy and feel a man”. So while the US Navy goes fully limp-wristed you can still find photos of Rosie the Riveter with her muscular arms. Maybe they should recruit her instead.

Yes. Discredit the military because until recently the military was one of the most trusted and admired institutions by the public. To the Cartel in dc that poses an unacceptable threat.
Besides discrediting the military, the dc Cartel has to ruin it so there is no chance it will even think about a coup. In the process, if they can turn the military into the same sort of tool of oppression as they’ve done to the IRS, FBI, CIA, NSA, DOJ et al… so much the better.
At some point their Cloward Piven strategy will pay off and society collapses. When that happens they plan to be the only ones w the muscle to impose a Great Reset aka the New Feudalism.

The only reason we have a navy or any other service is to fight and win wars. When not engaged in combat their mission is to train to win the next war. Our military services are not social experiments.
We don’t support our military by giving them a bigger budget. We support them by ensuring they have strong leaders.

Notice how the numbers went up from 2021 to 2022. By how much we’ll never know. It’s CNN. It’s the DoD. It’s our government.

These figures came from CNN via the DoD, so to say they are highly suspect would be an understatement.

Notice they don’t use the word “rape” anymore; just “sexual assault.” Even the euphemism is still plenty gnarly. The last year the Dod or the media used the word “rape” to describe what goes on the US Military was in 2015.

These fool idiots cannot even speak plain English, cannot even call a “spade a fucking hoe,” and we are supposed to get all excited about how the US Military is the greatest and most powerful on Earth. Give me a break.

    And nobody heard a thing.

As far as we know something horrible happened to her in Afghanistan. Gang raped maybe by members of her own fellow soldiers? All we are told is that “something so horrible happened to her that no human being should have to face.”

Women shouldn’t be in combat. Women also shouldn’t be street cops. Example: Kimberly Potter who shot and killed Daunte Wright, thinking she was using her taser. She was training a rookie who was big and strong and who could have held Wright in place with one hand. Potter pushed the big cop out of the way and pulled out her “taser” – which was really her gun. Women are not big and strong enough to control criminals, so they have to rely on tools like pepper spray and tasers – and their gun. Men of small stature also shouldn’t be allowed to be cops. Where did we get this CRAZY idea that everybody is capable of every job? What a bunch of horseshit.

By “small stature” I’m assuming you meant “short?” As in Randy Newman and “Short people got nobody.”

What happened to: “You salute the uniform, not the man (or the woman).” It’s been twisted. What happened is that we are now required to salute what’s in the uniform.

You know what they say: “Short stature, large . . . .”

I will be the first to admit that we are still adjusting to necessary changes to the character of the military. But it’s an almost impossible job, especially when every facet of government, society, culture, the financial system, the economy, education, healthcare, our institutions, are all in the process of being broken down.

        Women are everywhere these days.

I don’t think women should be in government. Women can’t handle advanced citizenship. They end up going straight for socialism, which leads to Communism, which leads to Totalitarianism. You see all these women who might as well have Azov lovers and secret Nazi babies. I’m thinking women like Victoria Nuland, AOC, Jacinda Ardern, Sanna Marin, etc.

Still, I meet so many women who are in the military these days. I fly helicopters. I once spent a delightful day talking with a US Army helicopter flight technician. She was hanging out with her ride at an air show. She was flying onboard a Black Hawk that needed some TLC (as she put it). The service actually has people, who fly “third seat” like in the old days. And some of them are women.

I’ve met several women MPs. I’ve gone to the university with a US Airforce captain who was taking advanced courses in political science. I found the wallet of a Canadian Jewish woman who served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). She was pursuing advanced courses at the same university in how to communicate with soldiers who had sustained brain injuries.

It’s not that you forget you are talking with a woman. Mainly, it’s about getting out of your own way. You can’t learn interesting stuff if all you see is a woman. After a while you adjust.

The service never adjusted because the service went too far, mainly to compensate for what it does not want to talk about. Mainly to not to have to address what it lacks. Not to having women in the force. Not to having gays in the force. But how it’s pushed on you, like vaccine mandates.

Instead of “message received and understood” the military does what our fully dysfunctional government does all the time — doubles down — gives us LGBT+. What’s next? “The beatings will continue until morale improves.”

I think the military is doing a job on us with this LGBT+ stuff. It allows them to avoid having to look into the mirror and see the Captain Jamie Brunettes. And not just the military. I posted and re-posted about Captain Jamie Brunette here because my comments were being heavily moderated.

Look at her picture. I’ve met dozens of young women, just like Captain Jamie Brunette.

Want to see over 7,000 more, or are pictures of drag queens more your thing? Or maybe you’ll do what the military really wants you to do: Stop looking at any pictures.

“Women “soldiers” cannot even protect themselves from being raped by the dregs in our armed forces, how are we expected to believe that they make better combat infantrymen then the average man would? One of the television highlights of our looming military catastrophies at the hands of masculine armies will be the public rape and execution of any surviving women service members, maybe the trannies will get thrown in for good measure.

This post and the comments bothers me b/c it’s so Anti-American.
The America I love is one where we try to find common ground despite deep differences. How the hell do you think Boston & NYC got together to fight off the British?
Sure, the guy you profiled is a freaking fruitcake in his off hours; no doubt about it. (I’m willing to bet he’s funny as hell though- any of his ilk I’ve met were hysterical…)
    ANYWAY…
    My questions are:
    – can he do his job?
    – will he do his job?
    – will he follow legal orders?
Everything else is window dressing (pun intended).
These comments are so offensive to me b/c they hearken back to when the NYPD put women in patrol cars, hired Black cops and stuff like that. The same kind of dogmatic drivel was all over the place.
The spewing and disgusting hostility in this thread is emblematic of what this kid is facing out in the real world I’m sure. And I’ll bet he knew this going in, and still decided to do it.
    That son-of-a-gun got balls, man.
I’m willing to bet that son of a gun loves his country as much as anyone here.

You’re offended? Tough shit. What is it with these cross-dressing freaks? It’s one thing to be gay. There’s some kind of weird psycho drama going on with drag queens – whose purpose seems to be shocking people – especially children. They can never leave the children out of it. Gay guys like Richard Grenell or Scott Presler would never dress up like Marilyn Monroe. We don’t need literal drama queens as our “defenders”. The only good thing about this is that it should shrink the number of recruits, so that the Nulands, Blinkens and Sullivans have fewer people to send to far-flung unnecessary, immoral and unwinnable wars.

Yeah right. I have seen a whole crew of USN flee for their lives when they set off a sprinkler system by accident. They had to be herded back to their stations like wayward children by the Yard Boss. Being a professional requires total commitment. There is no way this person puts as much effort into mastering his job as he does playing dressup. The consequences are that he will suck when the chips are down and people will die. We have yet to see a crew of lady sailors and and fruitcakes take a missile hit or two at sea and do some real damage control. That is hard, dangerous work. The USS Franklin and Forrestal fires will be repeated. I am telling you now that those ships will be going to the bottom with thousands of dead if the damage control skills of the USN personnel I have witnessed are typical. These little rainbow children could not even save an amphibious assault ship that was tied up pierside from burning down to a hulk. It is not just the gays and trannys. the suppressed backstory of the USS Fitzgerald collision off Japan a few years back is that the Lady Officer of the Deck was not on speaking terms with the Lady CIC officer over “boy problems”. As a result, an imminent collision with a looking container ship was not reported to the bridge and the evasive action was not taken. So people died needlessly over high school girl crap, and these are your officers for crissake The whole thing was whitewashed as neatly as possible that allowed the CO to take the hit or systemic failures and stopped the buck from going any higher in the chain of command, of course. As anyone who had been to sea will note, there is also the glaring omission of why the port and starboard watch on duty failed to report the imminent collision either. The sex and orientation of those negligent parties is unknown, but before you celebrate the possibility that they were straight men, you should consider they level of institutional rot required for things to get that dysfunctional and dwell on that instead. This Navy, and the whole US Military will fail miserably in the face of any real near peer opposition, It will be because the military now reflects the broken society from which it sprang and failed to adhere to the time tested values of Duty, Honor, Country.
As for your attempted point about the 1775 Patriots in Boston and the British, You would do would do well to note that those same men would have seized this tranny freak and burned him alive on the Common should he have appeared among them. Get a clue.

I am surprised you did not mention the Navy’s Shellback hazing ritual which involves some baudy costumes.

About Larry C. Johnson

I am a bona fide Son of American Revolutionaries. At least 24 of my ancestors, men and women, fought to free the American Colonies from British rule. Some died for the cause of liberty. Though two and a half centuries have passed since my great grandfathers and grandmothers took up arms, the principles they fought for remain valid and relevant to the 21st Century. This blog is dedicated to the pursuit of truth without regard to partisan advantage. I welcome like minded patriots.
