I will apologize up front for using the campy 1984 movie, Revenge of the Nerds, as a prescient portrayal of the shifting power relationship that favors Russia and China and puts the United States at an unexpected disadvantage. But I think it is an apt metaphor. The original movie portrayed a group of very smart, technically gifted students who were shunned and tormented by the popular fraternities — populated with the handsome, smug golden boys and brain dead athletes. The Nerds’ effort to organize their own fraternity was opposed by the established fraternities, often with violence and sabotage, but in the end their brains and determination won out over the prvileged establishment, who believed their muscles and entitlement would preserve their domination.
I suppose the biggest difference with the original movie is that Russia and China have nuclear weapons. The Nerds had no nukes, only cleverness. So they are not just hinging their quest to breakaway from the control of the West on their technological smarts alone, they have the military muscle to push back if necessary. I believe the following clip offers a metaphor for the countries lining up to join BRICS, with Russia and China in the lead, and create a new international financial order independent of Washington’s control (and bullying).
Most people in the West are oblivious to the earth shaking changes taking place across the globe that represent a rejection of the U.S. controlled and dominated “International Order,” which was. created in the wake of World War II. The United States unwittingly started this avalanche by banning Russia from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT), which has been the primary system for sending wire transfers between banks. Russia and China responded to this coercive move by stepping up their efforts with the other BRICS countries to create an alternative system that by-passes SWIFT and the almighty dollar.
The effort to break free of U.S. control is accelerating. Early on Brazil made an agreement with China to stop using the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency in their bilateral trade. Saudi Arabia has made similar agreements with other countries and India is paying rupees for Russia oil. The Middle East Spectator reports tonight that Iran and Indonesia agreed to stop using the US Dollar in their mutual trade relations. In other words, a lot of countries are lining up to buy Russian and Chinese pie.
One other ironic note relevant to the original movie. The Nerds’ success in creating their new fraternity was made possible by their alliance with a nationwide Black fraternity.
The African nations are making a point of rejecting pressure from their former European colonial masters and are embracing Russian and Chinese overtures to join them in forging a New World Order. And what is the U.S. response? More bullying and threats. I think we have reached a historical tipping point where the countries of Africa are going to be putting some distance between themselves and Washington and will expand their diplomatic and economic relations with both Russia and China. The era of Pax Americana is coming to an ignominious end I believe.
The satanic USA aspiration for Full Spectrum Dominance, New World Order etc. (WEF, Bilderberg etc.) which they try to realize under the leadership of the Jews (Rockefeller’s, Rothschild’s & Co.), who pay them well = buy them cheaply, have sealed their DESTRUCTION. This time definitively = forever.
Aye, aye!!!
Mr Johnson, I follow you since at least one year a half from France( apology my english), and I think you are one of the best analyst of the situation.
However…
However, Prigozhine has just declared that his company had 20,000 dead and as many wounded at Artemovsk.
Two solutions: either these figures are true, or they are false.
If they are true, your whole theory of the Ukrainian meat grinder collapses into a Russian meat grinder, not to mention the fact that this would reveal that the elite Russian army took 10 months of hard fighting, losing 40,000 men with total control of the sky and 10 guns to one: This is a total disgrace for the Russian army and a total disavowal of all the people who have been telling us a beautiful fable for months to hide the nullity of the Russian army. Pathetic. And above all, the future effects on the Russian public are likely to be incalculable. These figures? Even worse than Kirby’s figures from a month ago are the terrible ones.
If they are wrong, either the Russian leadership does not have the power to silence a traitor who would end up in front of the firing squad in many countries at war, including France and the USA. Either it finds it very clever to play with fire in a Maskirovka that deceives no one and that can light the fire and then an inferno in Russian heads.
So, dear sir, are you wrong on all counts? Or is the Russian leadership playing with fire?
Thank you
I will update.
Why has he suppressed the 50.000 – 70.000 killed Ukrainian soldiers, which Prigozhin has also mentioned?
The ratio is not so bad in view of the character of this operation.
Darras, you haven’t been paying attention. Your analysis is very simplistic and I think you have been watching too much fake news from your country. Please, read carefully and pay attention to the serious analysis of Larry!
I think it would be better to remember that Prigozhin is the equivalent of a World Wrestling Association promoter.
Don’t you wonder why Prigozhin is allowed to continue talking if Putin’s Russia is supposedly a budding police state ?
Or is Mr. P is proof that Russia is more free than Ukraine certainly (after all if they arrested the poor gal who shared film of the attack on the Patriot Battery, do you think they would allow a Prigozhin to say what he says in Ukraine…yet he can say so in Russia. Do you think Mr. P would be allowed to say what he says in America if he were an American official ? Of course not, so is this another example that Russia is more free and open than the USA ?
If you don’t want to buy that, then your other option is to consider that everything Mr. P says is carefully calibrated…or, heaven forbid, designed to sow confusion, doubt and misinformation…
Russia has a wonderful tradition of deviousness.
I would not take Mr. P at face value about anything he says. He is highly entertaining and he makes good movies – the Wagner Recruiting movie – “Best in Hell” is one of the best, pure war movies ever, well worth watching.
But otherwise don’t expect him to be sharing military secrets with us in his public statements.
I’d say that Prigozhin is the russian equivalent of Zelenski – a comedian, a court jester; after all, despite being voted “president” in an election almost as fraudulent as the 2020 presidents elections in US, Zelenski is just a comedian. The main difference is that, unlike Ukrainian Armed Forces, “Wagner” has competent military commanders. I doubt that anyone who has two brain cells to rub together believes that Prigozhin is the one who calls the shots in Artemyovsk or any other theater, where “Wagner” is conducting operations.
@George Kovachev
Calling Zelensky a comedian is a bit of a strech. He is a second rate actor, that doesn’t turn down a role. He was groomed for this one, and is slowly realising that he’s about to get f**ed.
All you need to do to understand that statement is to understand the concept of the “Good Cop, Bad Cop” routine.
Prigozhin is playing the “Bad Cop”, whose job is to discombobulate and disorient the sucker so that they are amenable to the suggestions of the “Good Cop”.
The simplest defense is to take the Bad Cop’s claim and examine the necessary consequences of it to see if it is believable.
One example: Prigozhin claims to have recruited 50,000 hardcore prisoners into the Wagner Group.
But the TOTAL prison population in Russia is significantly less than 500,000 prisoners (including those on remand, who would not be interested in such a proposal) so Prigozhin’s statement would require that he was successful in recruiting much, much more than 10% of that prison population for what is the very dictionary-definition of a Forlorn Hope.
Q Is that believable?
A No, not at all.
People either accept what Prigozhin says because that comports with their own opinion, or they reject it out of hand because it doesn’t. But the correct approach is to say “Hang on! If *that’s* true then it must mean *this* is also true”.
Many times the *this* can’t possibly be true, which means that the original claim must also be untrue.
It is impossible to believe that Prigozhin could recruit 15-20% of the male prison population of Russia, but that’s what he would need to do in order to recruit 50,000 jailbirds into the Wagner Group.
Simple. Effective.
Run similar logic over Prigozhin’s other statements and, far more often than not, they also fail the test.
He lies. He lies ALL the time.
He said 50,000 Ukrainian soldiers died there. And the musicians had 20% of that. So where did you get 20,000 dead musicians? The attacking side is supposed to outnumber the defenders 3 to 1, and even more in the city. There were fewer musicians than Ukrainians. What disgrace are you talking about then?
A top ranked German General Andreas Marlow had been appointed to train Ukrainians at an “international training center” but after realizing who he is actually dealing with, he contacted the prosecutor’s office and the German MOD to launch an investigation into Ukrainian war crimes against Russian POV’s and civilians.
During his work with the Ukrainian soldiers he pointed out in particular that those who were trained at the bases of Wildflecken and Hummelburg repeatedly bragged and showed videos of brutal tortures and executions of Russian prisoners of war, confirming Ukrainian involvement in war crimes.
Although dozens of German officers saw these videos, they were ordered not to disclose what they saw in order to avoid ruining Ukraine’s “reputation”.
Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow can be contacted directly to verify the information:
STCLegad@bundeswehr.org
I have tried to find a source on this, and I think it is not true, unfortunately.
Not true that the AFU has committed war crimes re: the Geneva Convention that have been simply ignored by the West?
You’re not a very good researcher.
Anybody out there with a shred of decency and in a position to do something about this?
Paul Warburg & Jacob Schiff were sent by the Rothschilds’ Bankster Cabal in Europe to recreate their central banking “Magic Money Machine” here in the USA in 1913. Ever since then we have been looted of our national wealth. Borrowing money created out of thin air was too irresistible to our greedy moral reprobates in DC and WWI followed by WWII, Korea, Vietnam and 20 years destroying the Middle East were the natural results of this financialized death machine. Our government and their corporate sponsors (Larry Fink, etc.) are completing their fascist takeover of our republic and I fear only a hollowed out shell of America will remain. Our children deserved a better future.
If it doesn’t work out with the “dominance” – with the “rainbow coloreds” you have at least a full-spectrum-decadence …
Milebar… I responded to your post below, I thought I replied.
There never was any such thing as “pax” in Americana; it has been one of the most blood drenched eras in recent history. There is nothing to end in something that has no existence.
If you’d called it something like Dominatio Americana it would have been a different matter.
In hindsight you are right! I believe there was a time up until the early 1960s, before the CIA assassinated Kennedy, where the intent was genuinely Pax or force peace, prosperity, and trade. When LBJ took the oval office, American transformed into a defense industrial complex warmonger corporofascist state. Today, it is just full-blown insanity. I have great hope for India being that pragmatic democracy for peace, and the nice thing about India is you have ethnic and religious pluralism as opposed to race-baiting multi-culturalism. America could use a racial and religious harmony act. Kishore Mahbubani of NUS Singapore, Dean of Foreign Service wrote about this scenario 15 years ago, hoping America would accommodate China’s rise but fearing America would use its military and coercion to thwart it. You know how human behaviour is: fear what you don’t understand and attack what you fear! I think this has been the MO of every superpower time immemorial.
India has a govt run by a party whose mother organisation is Nazi inspired organisation.
It has similar situation in kashmir that Ukarine had in Donbass.
All your muslim sectarian organizations are the secular kind?
The “mother organization” – RSS – formed in 1925, was looking to inspiration everywhere re: nationalist movements and ways of motivating youth/people to build an identity. There was no racial/racist component to the thinking, AFAIK, of Hedgewar, Savarkar, and others.
The Kashmir analogy is useful. I have used it in comments re: posts about the “end” of the SMO/war. Low Intensity Conflict (LIC) can persist for a very long time – decades, even centuries.
The neocons and their allies/disciples/paymasters remain very wealthy and very powerful. They are not going to stop. Ever. Even if large-scale kinetic actions die down, LIC will continue indefinitely. Their ultimate objective is very simple: direct or indirect (via a compradore elite) control of Russia’s vast resource wealth.
Wake up, Buddy! India’s ruling party is inspired by Indian heritage. You should see videos on social media where Kashmiri Muslims are inviting the saffron-clothed Hindu monk, who is the Chief Minister of the largest province of India, to be the leader of their state. You should see videos where Muslim women wearing symbols of the ruling party going from house to house for election canvassing in support of this same Hindu monk. This is a ruling party that is winning the battle for the hearts and minds of Indian Muslims.
India does have a Ukraine like problem. That is called Pakistan, a country that is founded on hate and killing, just like the Nazi Ukraine.
Beware of the news outlet from which you got this misinformation. They may convince you to go as a “freedom fighter” in Kashmir to “liberate” it!
You probably got misled by the fact that the Indian sacred symbol the Swastika was appropriated by the Nazis to promote their pure Aryan heritage (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika). The Swastika literally means ‘conducive to well-being’. Please do get properly educated about India.
The Nazis did indeed stole the swastika. But I have also heard that it was an ancient Greek symbol.
I agree. Adityanath is loved by a lot of lower caste Muslims because of the economic help he gave them (including free housing). It’s just that like the largely Congress supporting liberal class the Muslim upper castes get disproportionate coverage in the media.
Pax Americana, my foot.
Perhaps you don’t remember the so-called “missile gap” of the late 1950s. The CIA and the Pentagon ganged up to preach that the USA was falling behind the dastardly Soviets. “Lookit Sputnik! The Soviets have got us on the back foot!” While Ike played golf, JFK hopped on that bandwagon big time for his election platform. But after he became president found out it was a scam. The US was way ahead, not behind the Soviets in ICBMs.
You can read all about it at the JFKlibrary site:
https://www.jfklibrary.org/events-and-awards/forums/past-forums/transcripts/50th-anniversary-of-the-missile-gap-controversy
The USA had gone through everyone running around being accused of being Reds by McCarthy in the early to mid-1950s, followed by Ike putting down the Brits and the French over the Suez Canal crisis — early steps to being the big hegemon. The Dulles boys no doubt had a dirty hand in all of the flim flam. Pax Americana was just another gilding of a non-existent lily, in my view. Looks good in history books, and allows people to pine for a Norman Rockwell time of Mom, apple pie and baseball that really did not exist. Fooled JFK (and Reagan twenty years later so he had his SDI crock of lunacy moment) so when JFK got uppity in office and objected, he was assassinated for trying to spoil the master plan, such as it was in those days for the MIC taking over ever more of the US national budget. Ike warned about them in the two months between JFK’s election and his actual inauguration. Too late, and Ike didn’t oppose them while he was president. Golf was really important to that guy.
Go on, have a read at the link I provided above, and see what I mean. Let’s not rewrite history. I’m old enough I can still remember it.
McCarthy did not accuse “everyone” of being Reds. Senator McCarthy correctly identified the presence in the US government of senior officials actively working on behalf of the Soviet Union. KGB archives made available after the fall of the USSR confirmed that many government individuals identified by McCarthy’s committee were working for the Soviet Union. See the Verona Papers.
Roosevelt introduced a mass of those people into senior roles in the US government, many of them East Europeans from the same group that provided the majority of the leadership of the original Bolsheviks. That influx not only helped provoke the war with Germany (via boycott of German trade but also punitive tariffs on German goods and financial attacks on Germany long before WWII: see the 1951 book THE IRON CURTAIN OVER AMERICA by John Beaty) but has metastasized with their fellows throughout the US government, working not on behalf of the people of the USA but on behalf of their own historical interests.
McCarthy’s reputation was subsequently trashed by members of that same group who controlled, and still control, most of the media.
All real American patriots are ultimately traduced by those who now control the media and who have no affiliation with those who built the US or with the majority of its people now.
It is likely that most things you think you “know” are a consequence of incessant propaganda by that media and the deep state with which it is intertwined.
Does PaX and other P’s include times from 1619 to JFK event?
I’ve grown more enamored of Pox Americana but I do my best to not remind myself of it too often.
I agree. “Americana” has taken hypocrisy to new heights. That is failing. The G7 demonstrated that the empire is failing,falling- and flailing. Modi was apparently not impressed. Lulu was offended. What did the Vietnamese and Indonesians think? Not impressed either, I wage. As I write here (with credits to Larry BTW) :
https://julianmacfarlane.substack.com/p/the-g7-show-certified-rotten
The theme of the G7 was supposed to be peace and the prevention of nuclear war – hence the choice of Hiroshima rather than Tokyo where I live. But I focused on ways to escalate the war in Ukraine and also to threaten. Speeding up the Doomsday Clock. Hiroshima survivors here were not impressed. Biden, of course, brought his nuclear suitcase– with lots of photos in the Japanese press.
WHY NOW?
The Doomsday Clock has obviously not been a deterrent for the Rothschild Class (RC) and their minions, if anything probably regarded as yet another tool to spread fear in those who don’t control The Nuclear Button. But that begs the bigger question, Why Now? Why would the US/ZATO’s masters decide to incite Russia and China to war when it is also obvious their slow, incremental stealth take-over of gov’ts and social structures world wide was proceeding nearly unhindered. What would possess the RC to nail their version of the 99 Theses on the Internet (The “you will own nothing and be happy” video, etc.) ?
I think it was a realization that they were running out of time, but on the Bitcoin/crypto Doomsday Clock. A clock that could give permanent financial freedom to billions while stripping the RC of their unchallenged control of fiat currencies, central banks and the gov’ts that control those countries.
Perhaps the Nuland et.al. Neocon Cabal (The Cabal) recognized the immediate danger of Bitcoin to the US$ Reserve Currency Ponzi and manipulated the Rothschild class to back the US/UK to build an army (or 2) in Ukraine and Eastern Europe to intimidate Russia and by extension China.
So far the Rothschilds have quietly made known their displeasure with The Cabal by sending their French Toady-in-Chief to China to short-circuit the Ukie War. After hearing Xi’s position, Macron committed US/ZATO heresy by publicly stating the EU must distance itself from US “foreign policy”. This is not a small incident.
If the The Cabal has indeed gone rogue, any slowing down of the escalation in Ukraine and around Taiwan erodes their ability to funnel weapons and cannon fodder into the war zones WORLDWIDE. The Biden Administration proper apparently has no clue they are being played by The Cabal. Look no further than Sudan to see the “more chaos” agenda. This may be a primary reason Putin has slow-walked the SMO, to allow real info to get distributed over the Neocon-feared Internet, in places like this site.
Bitcoin is withstanding all attacks, even the idiotic Ordinals, so will be causing near-panic in The Cabal and the Rothschild Class. In just over 14 years, Bitcoin has gone from a silly piece of software to the repository for value worth roughly $400billion.
The The Cabal has trapped themselves by testing the resolve of Russia and China while trashing the Rothschild Class centuries-long project to exert total control over all people and resources on the planet, at the expense of human freedom.
Will the Rothschild Class come to its senses and decide making a permanent truce with the enemy (Russia, China) of my enemy (The Nuland Cabal) is a good survival tactic? Otherwise, The Cabal has shown they will facilitate destruction and chaos as required to “win”. But the Nuland Cabal’s success depends on speed of action, on the premise that they “create a new reality” as required to confuse and overpower adversaries.
They’ve even straight-out said it…
“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
― Karl Rove
“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”
Whenever I read that, I imagine Rove standing before the Nuremberg Tribunal mouthing those very same words in a final triumph, just before his sentence to hang. Why is that, I wonder.
Good Jimmy Dore show here on Bitcoin and being “orange-pilled”:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KzhfAWEHLjo&pp=ygUdSmltbXkgZG9yZSBtYXgga2Vpc2VyIGJpdGNvaW4%3D
Also, check out Jimmy’s video today about now being on Ukraine’s kill list.
So Jimmy Dore knew zero about bitcoin and all it took was listening to a 5 minute speech to realize that bitcoin is fundamental to freedom in the 21st century? Ok. A speech by a populist presidential candidate who is fishing for votes in all communities. That even 3 weeks ago defended Ukraine and his son who went to fight for the freedom of Ukraine but now he has changed his mind.
Because bitcoin is fantastic, impossible to hack or censor and audited every day or every week. That’s why thousands, if not millions, of people recently lost their life savings in Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX scam.
But never mind, I also recently discovered that there is no longer a single sovereign state in Western Europe. It means that in Europe, after the crash, we are also controlled by exactly the same financial power that controlls Washington. And it is exactly from that prison that the entire global south is trying to free itself today. And I don’t think it’s through bitcoin. Whose biggest problem is exactly not having any nation as ballast. Which Jimmy’s guest expert thinks is fantastic. Until the day. Maddof’s customers also thought he was fantastic.
“Pax Americana” had the same meaning as “Pax Romana”.
Simply destroying every real and fictional external threat, so the people inside the borders live in peace. It was never peace for the outside.
The barbarians spent centuries fighting their way in; the value of Roman citizenship was immense right up until decadence foreshadowing that of Weimar destroyed the virtue of the leadership. The people from the East spent centuries fighting their way west, driving everything before them. The original “mostly peaceful” people.
Well, Pax Romana actually was a ‘peace’ of sorts for the outside, as long as they conducted themselves as loyal vassals, contributed their men and treasure to Roman expansion and suppression and relegated any major decisions concerning their lives to Rome or its regional governors.
Which validates your comparison to this notion of Pax Americana 100%, I’d say.
And as Rome finally fell to the ‘barbarians’, so regional governor Borrell’s ‘garden’ may very well fall to ‘the jungle’, keeping in mind that one man’s garden may very well be another man’s jungle and vice versa.
But ‘full-spectrum dominance’ had such a catchy ring to it. Made me want to run out and see if I could find a Roman legionnaire’s staff somewhere and march around the neighborhood.
the “Pax Americana” is the “peace” of a high security prison.
call it what it is or rather was! “The American Empire”.
call it what it is or rather was! “The American Empire”.
For all those starry eyed, self-actualizing idealists populating think tanks throughout America, they might prefer ‘The American Umpire’, as they set about setting the rules and policing the world, but when all is said and done, the two go hand in hand.
Pax Romana refers to a time when there really were no wars, and the Roman Empire was at peace. The Romans created law and order that lasted for ages, and our laws are based on theirs. They believed in the greatness of Rome, fought and died for Rome, and created social, linguistic, architectural, legal, etc., foundations that lasted to this day. Not bad considering they existed in the ancient world.
Compare them to our ignorant leaders who make decisions based upon their bankbooks regardless of the damage and bloodshed that causes. They are vermin, locusts, and chronic liars who seek and hold high office for the sole purpose of power abuse and personal enrichment via ripped off taxes. Well connected dunces. They leave nothing to history but abused populations at home and abroad. Never compare these mediocre grifters to Romans.
Oh, Rome had plenty of the “vermin, locusts, and chronic liars who seek and hold high office for the sole purpose of power abuse and personal enrichment” types too, as it ebbed and flowed between enlightened governance and tyranny.
We just happen to be in one of those ebb moments of wisdom here in the West, a very drastic one too I’d say. One of those hundred year ebb events could even be.
The Ukraine War Was Provoked
However, NATO leaders uses the word “unprovoked” incessantly, most recently in Biden’s speech on the 1st anniversary of the war, in a recent NATO statement, and in the most recent G7 statement.
Even the Mainstream media in collaboration with the Biden Regime simply parrot this narrative.
The Washington Times, the New York Times and the BBC are the leading culprits.
As an example, the New York Times are describing the Russia intervention as “unprovoked” no fewer than 26 times, in five editorials, 14 opinion columns by NYT writers, and seven guest op-eds.
Since 1992, US diplomats have warned against the risk of war with Russia, because of NATO expansion.
The archives show irrefutably proff that the US and German governments repeatedly promised President Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO would not move “one inch eastward” of the Oder River between Germany and Poland, when the Soviet Union ended and the Warsaw Pact military alliance were disbanded.
Since 1993 NATO has embarked on streamlining all NATO Nations defenses to include the Stealth F-35 Joint strike fighter, a Missile deterrence of Patriot missiles, and a SRI network of AIGIS controlled strike forces, all aimed against Russia.
In 1997, Polish national and US warmonger Zbigniew Brzezinski spelled out the NATO expansion plans.
In 1997, The US scholar George Kennan called NATOs enlargement a fateful error.
Former Secretary of Defense William Perry considered resigning in protest against NATO enlargement. Perry stated: “Our first action that really set us off in a bad direction was when NATO started to expand, bringing in eastern European nations, some of them bordering Russia. At that time, we were working closely with Russia and they were beginning to get used to the idea that NATO could be a friend.”
In 1998, William Burns, then the US ambassador to Russia sent a cable to Washington warning of the risks of war by further NATO enlargement into Ukraine and Georgia. Burnes wrote:
“Russia is particularly worried that the strong divisions in Ukraine over NATO membership, with much of the ethnic-Russian community are against, could lead to a civil war. In that Russia would have to intervene.”
Despite all the warnings the US-NATO embarked on a long line of aggressions against Russia and its allies.
The first was the US-NATO invasion of former Yugoslavia, later into Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.
Then NATO launched its expansion into Georgia resulting in a short war with Russia in Southern Ossetia.
And then NATO launched a proxy war against Russia´s ally Syria.
In 2014, the post 9/11 US-NATO wars of aggression and regime change resulted in installing a Neo-NAZI Russo phobic regime in Ukraine by a violent Coupe against Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
The US openly overthrew Yanukovych, as described vividly in the tape of then US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt.
Nuland was coordinating with then Vice President Biden and his national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, the same Biden-Nuland-Sullivan team now at the center of the NATO proxy war against Russia in Ukraine.
Remember the $5 Billion paid by Victoria Nuland to Ukrainian Oligarchs financing a Neo-NAZI militia.
After the US Maidan Coupe, the new Ukrainian government appealed for NATO membership, and the US-NATO built up, armed and trained the Ukrainian army to NATO standards, while the Ukrainian Army and NAZI battalions went on a rampage against the Russian ethnic population in Eastern Ukraine, killing 14.000 Civilians.
Since this NATO proxy war started in Ukraine, Belarus and Turkey has tried to settle the conflict via peace negotiations, resulting in Ukraine agreeing in both the Minsk I and Minsk II agreements.
However Ukraine has never ratified the agreements, because the US, UK, and EU never intended to accept peace in Ukraine, but used the negotiations to pacify Russia until NATO had built up the Ukrainian Army to attack Russia. This fact was exposed in 2023 by former Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and Former French President François Holland.
Today, Western leaders refuse to discuss the roots of the war, because:
It will expose how the war could have been avoided, and spared the population of Eastern Ukraine a Genocide by the Neo-NAZI battalions controlled by the Government in Kiev.
It could also have avoided the current devastation of Ukraine in a NATO proxy war against Russia.
It could have spare Europe a severe economic Recession caused by US, UK, EU sanctions against Russia.
And it could have spared the US more than $1 Trillion to date, to finance Regime changes around the Globe.
It would also expose Biden’s role in the overthrow of the former legally elected Government of Ukraine.
It would also expose the 10% to the Big Guy of the revenue of all Russian gas transported to Western Europe via the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.
Burisma is still staffed with Hunter Biden on the Board of directors, and were under investigation by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General for fraud. However Biden denied handing over US funds to the Ukrainian Government unless the prosecutor was fired, and: “Son of a Bitch, he got fired”, and the investigation ended.
Russia pursued diplomatic options in 2021 to avoid war, while Biden insisted that Russia had no say whatsoever on the question of NATO enlargement.
And as NATO was now revealed to use Ukraine as an existential threat to Russia, President Putin launched the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Russia still pushed for diplomacy in March 2022, while the Biden team again blocked a diplomatic solution.
The US and NATO has hijacked Ukraine as a pawn in a proxy war against Russia, thereby killing or maiming 500.000 Ukrainian Soldiers, and displacing 18 million Ukrainian into western Europe.
It’s time for the US-NATO provocations to stop.
Thank you. “Unprovoked indeed.” How can nations lie so blatantly? I guess impunity. Otherwise, when they lose the war, there will be hell to pay for bringing on such devastation under false pretenses. I suppose they think they will never be held to account. Alas, they may be right.
“Pax Americana” has always been a tongue-in-cheek term. Don’t take it too seriously.
Pax Americana refers to pax Romanum. The Roman empire gave peace, but by more and more repression. Two sides of a coin.
If you are a reserve-rich central bank, would you really feel more comfortable in lets say the renmimbi? Even if it was fully convertible and liquid, would you honestly feel more secure that Beijing will behave more lawfully than DC? The dollar still looks like the least dirty toilet in the public bathroom. If the dollar collapsed, then the very BRICS would collapse even further. Economically speaking, when the US gets a head cold the rest of the world gets pneumonia. The US dollar in the global economy has been supported by the size and strength of the US consumer based economy. Its stability and openness to trade and capital flows without restrictions are the major foundations of the dollar, in addition to strong property rights and the rule of law. That is why Russians and Chinese buy US property for they are secure in their ownership of US property which cannot always be guaranteed outside the US. Consequently, the depth and liquidity of US financial markets remain unmatched. For institutions parking billions, the US represents a large supply of extremely safe dollar denominated assets. Are they really going to switch to China or buy debt from Brazil? Not a single institutional client will go there. When war breaks out, capital flight will still be to the dollar. It will not be public assets, but private. The US is still supporting the entire world economy. The BRICS need the US consumer to keep their economies functioning. All this talk of the dollar being finished is really a crock of shit. That day will come when the US consumer no longer buys.
What rule of law? They just robbed Russian reserves! You sound like Janet. Who never hit one!
“They just robbed Russian reserves!”
No.
The Russian Federation made an investment with continuing high “returns”.
I also believe that it was fully allowed by Russia. A bait. Russia has been de-dollaring reserves for a long time. And it froze many more investments in Russia that no one talks about.
Indeed, rule of law that applies to everyone below a certain level. Those above that level do whatever they please with no repercussions or accountability. The writer just forgot about this small point when they referred to “rule of law”.
Oh yeah, the Dollar almighty! Has to be put into existence in insane quantities out of thin air to service the debts.
You take your wish for everlasting reality but the reality will catch uo as it has done with all overstretched empires.
This is why all BRICS nations are buying up gold, they’re either going to create a gold backed BRICS currency or tie their existing currency to gold. When this happens and world trade shifts to a single or basket of gold backed currencies, the USD would collapse like a house of cards on fire.
Makes a lot of sense what you said. Until you equate 71 Trillion dollars of debt. It’s like going into a man’s multi million dollar home. It all looks spectacular and you really admire the man. That is until you find out it’s the man’s bank who owns him and all of his stuff. He owns nothing and is happy. That is the same with America. We own nothing, we are owned. 71 Trillion dollars owns all we are.
Yes they will switch away from revocable American assets like dollars. We f’d up by politicizing the money too far and too long. The largest reserve holders in the world just watched the US demonstrate this. Now it is too late.
The dollar is a hybrid between a Ponzi scheme and racketeering. Every Ponzi scheme goes down eventually and racketeering can work only as long as the racketeers have a monopoly on violence. The only unknown is how many people the dollar will ruin before going down.
Totally excellent example of Larry’s main thesis.
The problem is that everything just changed. The collective West has now decreed that if it disagrees with another country’s foreign policies, they can be “cancelled” and robbed blind.
That means that the west is no longer a safe place to invest in.
Many smart people tried to point this out last year and they were called “Putin apologists”, Russian Trolls etc.
Well, you reap what you sow. Game over.
Russians and Chinese have stopped buying property in the US in the last 2-3 years. Most sold their holdings for cash and moved their assets out of the US.
Russia has proved they do not need the United States.
As Lavrov said well over a year ago when McDonald’s and everybody else left Russia (Oh the calamity LOL):
“The truth is we don’t need you. YOU need us and our resources.”
THAT is the truth but as an American you just cannot help but state even now that “America keeps the whole world going” and the world will collapse without it.
The world doesn’t need you.
The EU has more consumers than the US.
The EU GDP (which admittedly is an incorrect way to judge wealth and true income) is considerable.
China would suffer as they export a lot of stuff to the US.
The US$ has only been kept going through US hegemony and violence around the world. The petrodollar.
When nations start to show discontent with this forced “arrangement” the CIA move in to assassinate individuals and overthrow governments and replace them with a new puppet regime that benefits the US interest.
There is nothing organic anymore about the US dollar, it is all contrived and an illusion.
The one thing the US had going for it in regards to economical safety in uncertain times was the physical location of the country between 2 huge oceans.
$30 TRILLION debt…..junk bonds, it’s all built on a foundation of sand.
But keep thinking you’re the best thing since sliced bread.
That’s what Americans excel at.
The rest of the world has had enough of you and really doesn’t need you.
To an extent, I agree with you and respect your nationalism. However, the US economy, despite the European parasite sapping its energy, is 12 times greater than the Russian economy. This is no small fact that can be easily neglected. Also, while Russia has great technological advantages in some sectors, it is far behind in others.
My choice would be trade and respect among all nations, because we all need each other to keep Peace alive and well. Let’s spend all our money on butter instead of guns.
PS. I haven’t eaten at a McDonald’s in five years and it didn’t bother me either that it left Rusdia 🙂
wtf are you saying.consumer based economy=we make nothing,strong property rights=eminent domain,property tax out the wazoo,rule of law=selective prosecution,lets make a deal,openesse to trade without restriction=embargoes,tarrifs,sanctions and confiscation.PULLEEEEEESE!
I think your analogy is a bit off
The Nerds have been running The Empire since the 60’s and have brought The Empire down to the gutters
Ronald Reagan and G W Bush were nerds?
Reagan was brighter than most would have you believe.
If you read other people’s autobiographies and what they say about Reagan the man before he entered politics he comes out very well.
Bush on the other hand is a secret society man child.
Bush was a ‘tard. I doubt he ever thought more than 5 minutes before taking a decision. (notice take, not make). He still beats Biden hands down though.
Oh I think this is the perfect metaphor for Cold War II, and yes Europe and America fit the Alpha Betas to a T: stupid, rich parents, and entitled without earning their status. Russia and China are indeed outsmarting them and they have the economic heft to back it up with the rest of the world, tri lambda backing them up. Of course the security and military dimension is much more frightening. The NATO leaders have duped itself into thinking Russian equipment is rusted out junk. But as Larry points out in his video, the career professionals at Langley, USNI, and other military consultancies know better. The US, UK, and EU cannot defeat Russia, China, and BRICS+ in a Cold War. We need to get new leadership in the oval office and torch the State Dept. and CIA…FAST, while we can still salvage our relationships and reputation.
The only question is when FED dollar and bond collapse? US citizens have the highest credit card debt ever and 70% of our economy is consumer spending. Within a few weeks of collapse the democrat big cities will be trashed, looted and burning. Well at least the Army & National Guard will be deployed here at home.🥴🤡
$397 billion in credit card debt across more than 318 million open accounts. Average credit card debt by member was $6,469 — a 4.4% increase from May 2022.
At say 20% APY, that’s 80 billion in interest profit a year. No wonder Papa Biden got Jr. a cushy no show job with MBNA at the ripe old age of 21.
I’d always considered the nerds to be the western ‘rules-based orderites’ and their current batch of silicon valley sycophants, obediently serving the oderites’ every whim. (Zuckerberg, Gates – did you think you were at all unique?)
A good many years ago, I was on a plane to Kiev and found myself seated near an entire group of quintessential ‘nerds’ of said variety, well-heeled in monetary compensation but equally short in physical appeal (I’ll be kind). For hours, I was peripherally subjected to their group school boy chatter about how they were off to meet their dream girls at some internet-arranged dating site soirée. Knowing what likely awaited these poor saps, I truly felt sorry for them. Who knows, some of them may be in Biden’s inner circle today.
I like the analogy – nothing like a bunch of entitled frat boys. I’ve been waiting to see these times – when the real diplomats come to the front and stand up to the bully in the playground- and that’s exactly what the state dept/pentagon are. The meaning/art of diplomacy is totally lost on them and that ironically amplifies the efforts of others who do understand and know what it means to conduct international relations in an even/fair/open/respectful manner.
The tsunami of diplomacy is on its way and long over due.
And that business with mr penis piano giving the pope a kindergarten painting with a blacked out child and a piece of flackjack with another finger painting is just too much- way to much. Reaction in the west? Crickets!!!!! Just like the ones you hear in the background of the video of those two humvees that are sitting in craters after the terrorists breached the border and then got their asses kicked all the way back to naziland.
Germany first had Green Foreign Minister in Fischer a former Trotskyite street thug and war in Yugoslavia with first bombing of a European capital – Belgrade -since 1945
Second German war in Europe under second Green Foreign Minister who told Council of Europe Germany et al were at war with Russia
Greens are funded by US foundations of oligarch capital
USSR withdrew from Germany 1990 US did not but expanded across Europe
Since 1990 war in Europe has been devastating in Serbia and Ukraine
Clearly it was Soviet Occupation that kept the peace to 1990 not US Occupation
“Green Foreign Minister in Fischer a former Trotskyite street thug”
No – “Joshka” was not a thugee engaged in strangulation by silk, only a let’s pretend one to facilitate his repentence deal with BND and associates to aid the metamorphosis of “The Red Army Faction” and other remnants into “The Green Party” and others.
“Greens are funded by US foundations of oligarch capital”.
Not only but also, since conditional deals from 4th May 1945 onwards gobbled many sausages, so the efforts of others were always required to “support” the foundations since “oligarchs” never existed despite their efforts of try, try, try again, Persilscheinery, and smatterings of recycled dental gold.
I think that the theft of Russian reserves was even more decisive. And I also think that the revolt is not so much from the NWO that emerges from WW2 and the dollar privilege that emerges from Bretton Woods but from the unipolar world! From the end of the story of the idiot of Fukuyama! But I don’t think anyone could have imagined that the conflict in Ukraine would accelerate an NWO so much today! In the US, Russia or China!
And today listening to Ray McGovern on the judge’s show it became even clearer to me how Russia and Putin could have explained the SMO in such a simple way to the western population. Namely to the American but also European population who only have access to propaganda. And Russia knows perfectly well that the US controls all western media platforms and that its almost impossible to beat the US on desinformation! And it would be very important for Russia to make the Western population aware of Russia’s reason when Putin announced the SMO. Seen by almost everyone in the West. An almost unrepeatable hypothesis and Russia should have prepared mutch better. It could do make all the difference for the Western population to never support sending arms to Ukraine. Because the arguments are overwhelming and not on a 15th century map of Ukraine. A monumental mistake! Which may have worked internal in Russia. But the sabotage of the Minsk agreements and the missiles in Poland and Romania, which many people in the West have never heard of, could be decisive in the US and the EU!
You do realise that the Eurodollar Market was created in 1950s BECAUSE of US threats to Moscow’s Dollar Holdings ?
That is why Moscow Narodny Bank deposited US dollar balances in London for Offshore Lending outside US control……….Moscow Narodny being a London Bank founded in 1919……….
it became even clearer to me how Russia and Putin could have explained the SMO in such a simple way to the western population. Namely to the American but also European population who only have access to propaganda.
You clearly do not live in Europe.
Putin came to power in 1999 as Yeltsin’s Prime Minister – in reality a “roof” or protection for the Yeltsin Clan to avoid trial for treason and corruption post-mortem……..Putin was FSB insurance hauled in by Boris Berezhovsky.
Ever since Yeltsin the Puppet of the West was sidelined Putin has been a target of propaganda.
No media in the West has done other than vilify him since 1999
Why do you imagine propagandised Europeans who spouted hatred of Trump but seem besotted with Biden or Obama would ever believe Putin ?
Russia is the Bogeyman in Western Propaganda and the Yellow Peril is next to the Muslim Menace in Demonology of Western Media
I have a question for you ? Do you believe women can have penises ? Apparently leaders of two mainstream political parties in UK actually state so on radio and TV
Thank you for the post. As I read Paulo’s ‘easy solution’, the thought kept echoing in my mind: “On exactly whose television or radio network does he think Putin would have delivered this message to the West? “
On which network? Putin’s speech announcing the SMO was on all televisions. And other statements in February 2021. They’re still on you tube! And what Europeans realized is that Ukraine never existed! Most had never heard of Kievan Rus. Didn’t even need to. They should have only heard what the US and UK have been doing in Kiev since 2014
“Alice laughed. ‘There’s no use trying,’ she said. ‘One can’t believe impossible things.’
I daresay you haven’t had much practice,’ said the Queen. ‘When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
And Lewis Carrol was referencing the far less sophisticated propaganda of the day… These days nothing gets through the MSM filter and its relationship to possible (much less reality) is trivial.
Importantly, the queen is propagandized too – living in a reality she creates until reality crashes it down. I love analogies that work on many levels – like revenge of the nerds.
Apparently who don’t live in Europe is you, as many English say when they travel to the continent! And probably a Brexiter populist. An island that is also largely responsible for this war in Ukraine where it dumped millions in arms after the coup! And basically responsible for the last great wars in Europe. What kept peace in Europe was a bipolar world and above all economic growth because all wars are essentially economic since the time of religious wars, where they also fought for economic power. Ideological or political wars are almost always pure fantasy! In the big picture of the war in Ukraine, there is essentially a fight for an enormous amount of natural resources. For control of Eurasia! To slice up Russia and delay China’s growth and disconnect Germany from Russia. A very old objective of the British Empire that already led to WW1. And it is no coincidence that all US wars in this century have been against Moscow’s former allies! And, as I said, what brought war back to Europe was once again economic reasons. Namely neoliberalism and financial deregulation in the US and the West in general, which led to the bankruptcy of many de-industrialized states such as the US and the UK. The US entered this century with a debt of around 30% and has already surpassed 100% of GDP, essentially of services. And this is what impacts the lives of real people with shitty jobs and not a meeting with two trans people. Washington was taken over by the greatest fortunes and now, by the will of the MIC and the need of a State totally indebted, they are condemned to continue the wars and robberies that began in the 90s and which also led to the disastrous economic situation in the USA. Every year breaking the debt ceiling for more wars!
And spare me these populist rants about identity and penis agendas that mean nothing to 99% of the human species! And which are only of interest to those who do not want to debate the true problems of nation states and, above all, of their populations. Like good jobs, good schools, and good affordable health care! Where the richest multiply their fortunes in areas we all depend on. I have better things to do than put up with drunks like Farage or clowns like Bojo in Europe.
And yes, regardless of whether Russia was totally provoked and dragged into this war – by NATO enlargement and the US coup d’état, which I also never understood why Russia didn’t avoid it like it did in Belarus and Kazakhstan – it’s still a war in the center of Europe that worries a lot of people and with impact all over the world as we are seeing! And that nobody knows where they can go up. And questioning the sovereignty of a founding country of the UN was not the best idea Russia has ever had! Nor the reason why Russia was forced to enter Ukraine. As I said, I see
this information campaign for Russia’s internal consumption. Regardless of Russia being really maligned in the West. And Putin, with the murderer of political opponents that nobody knows in the greater Russia with less than 1% in the polls. Or spies with 10 laps on the km counter always in England. Putin is no mighty god. Putin was also pressured in the DUMA over the Donbass issue and intelligence over the missile threat in the PL and RO. And we can also criticize Putin like any politician.
Especially when he had all the reasons and could have been more intelligent when he manages to speak to the whole world! And claiming ownership of past territory creates in the minds of people in the West the idea that Russia is the aggressor in a war of aggression over territory. In the 15th century Portugal and Spain also divided the world in half in the Treaty of Tordesillas. When there is no aggressive turf war today in Ukraine as the West also advertises. In an unprovoked war?! When in reality it is Russia that is the victim in this conflict and that is why Putin should have explained with his mouth Russia’s absolutely reasonable proposals in December 2021 to avoid the conflict! Like peace in Donbass and the withdrawal of missiles in the PL and RO that threaten the physical integrity of Russia. Like the Cuban Missile Crisis. Russia entered Ukraine to defend ethnic Russians and Russia from an existential threat created by the US and UK and not to attack Ukraine.
Paulo, the European Money Elites believe and only believe in the following:
To rule the World you must control Eurasia.
To control Eurasia you must control Eukraine.
It doesn’t matter what you and I think, it doesn’t matter how stupid they truly are, you can’t change them. What can be changed after 500 years of misery foisted on the populations of the World by those parasites is to bankrupt them and punish them by having them work for a living.
True. European currency and financial elites are the same as those in the US. All one big happy family in the Bildeberg group or in Davos. And since many people don’t understand this, they don’t understand why Europe bowed to the US! The European autonomy that never existed after WW2 completely died in 2008 because without banks there is no economy!
And for greater paradox, with the crash and with the covid, the greatest fortunes soared and the distribution of wealth only got worse. The richest became much richer and it’s even embarrassing to talk about this feudal order that plunders entire nations.
IMO, one more reason for Russia to start playing in the current time and help Europe and the European people who don’t understand how they are being deceived. Russia has always been the most legalistic nation on earth and the biggest believer in diplomacy. Very strong cultural and character traits that in an era of cheating often play against Russia itself. For example, there is much talk of the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine which is actually an intervention fully protected by international law. To discuss a day later, perhaps in a real International Court.
But in the present time, in February 2022 with Russian troops on the border of Ukraine and Biden trying to guess the date of the invasion, the world needed to understand that the war criminal Biden was also ordering Ukrainian troops to violate the Donbass contact line!! According to OSCE reports. That’s why Biden’s cheater knew that Russia had no choice but to enter Ukraine.
But Russia never alerted Europe to these troops that it was also accompanying, of course! And they were decisive in Russia “invasion”, which was considered a liar because it had said it had no intention of entering Ukraine. When in fact, reality has changed!
And I’ll just give another example, but I could give a hundred, as I think Russia should warn the world more often. As fundamental as Ukrainian troops moving towards the Donbass final solution are the missiles in the PL and RO. Which the US implemented after tearing up the INF Treaty, who should concerned all europeans, with the stupid excuse of Iran’s missiles. Therefore, a serious threat to the integrity of Russia equal to the missiles in Cuba, which the US never accepted on its border. As we all know. And did anyone hear Russia warn Europe and the world when the US tore up the Treaty or deployed the missiles on its border in 2021? No! In the same way that Russia in 1962 agreed with Kennedy to keep secret for 50 years, who only deployed the missiles in CUBA as a reaction and to force the US to withdraw the missiles from Turkey, as Russia had been begging in diplomatic circles for years. In the same way Putin managed to get Biden’s promise that he would never deploy offensive missiles in PL. A promise that we all know that Biden did not keep and that Russia never let transpire in diplomatic circles. When it was better to call Biden a liar in 2021 than crazy in 2022 in war. This is to say that it is not even Putin’s information problem, it is a cultural trait of Russia. In the same way that in 1964 Russia could have denounced the false flag of Tonkin Bay that triggered the Vietnam War, embarrass the US and even stop the war!
And my point is that I think Russia should communicate much more with the world! And that way it could even have avoided another conflict with costs for everyone. Regardless of the true is on Russia’s side. And anyone who thinks that the world does not listen to the President of Russia, if that your intention, is very much mistaken. It’s almost like the story of the gas pump. If Russis or Putin wants to convene a world press conference is covered by the global press. Then they can lie but they cannot misrepresent what the President of Russia says.
Yes of course the era of Pax-Americana is coming to an end. But still, the Necon mafia is using one last tool at its disposal namely bribing various corrupt factions inside governments/NGO’s of other countries especially since the start of SMO those near Russia, Iran and China borders. One good example is Pakistan followed by Afghanistan and Azerbaijan … Certainly the Neocon mafia is paying millions in cash + US/EU free visas, green cards etc. to certain factions, their families and friend in Afghanistan/Pakistan vis a vis Iran, Russia, other STANS and China in order to thwart the creation of the East-West/North-South corridors. Basically the Necons still exert big influence over Pashto speaking tribal chieftains setting them as a counterweight against the Eurasian Integration. They hope they can do the same Zelinski move in Azerbaijan versus Iran and Russia.
“the Nerds”
Being held in contempt by opponents is always to be welcomed.
A very curious fact about modern American society is that, whereas on the corporate level the truth is being suppressed by censorship, boycott and financial losses, at the individual level I have found hostility, like that of a wild animal growling at another to scare it off.
Case in point, after the catastrophic choice tens of millions of Americans made on Nov.4th, 2020, soon thereafter I found it practically impossible to hand leaflets that I myself printed, with vital information that might, in a small way, at the very least, make people aware of some of the facts hidden by the media. It was obvious that the hostility was NOT because the info I was giving was false, but rather because those people knew they had been duped big time, otherwise, why reject it?
I was met with so much hostility and apathy by people in our neighborhood, it felt as if I was handing out a piece of paper laced with ricin or a radioactive substance, that for the first time in my life in America, I began to realize that truly there was no hope to try and turn the tide on the level of brainwashing Americans had been subjected to. It was surreal.
And as I watch hearings about the weaponization of the FBI, the IRS, the ATF and the whole Justice Department against its citizens, then I hear a Democrap express joy and happiness that a whistleblower is being intimidated and investigated for daring to speak the truth, by those very agencies we the people pay for, I become convinced that… it is really, really over, for good; America’s demise has reached “critical mass”!
“….vital information that might, in a small way, at the very least, make people aware of some of the facts hidden by the media…..I was met with so much hostility and apathy by people in our neighborhood”
And so it with the scamdemic and clot shot truths. The gullible don’t like their virtual reality bubble to be burst.
And to reinforce their delusions the sheep line up for their 7th, or are they up to their 8th?
Grr, you hit it on the nail. The impression I got was exactly that. These people want to continue to live in their fairytale world. They do not want to be bothered by “facts”, they have made up their minds, period!
What I found astonishing was the level of hostility. It’s been said, we should be kind to strangers, but oh boy, I saw no kindness, just raw hostility. Imagine, when in our history did you see somebody growl at you, as you approached that person, with a smile, with a leaflet in hand, only to be cussed and disparaged, before you opened your mouth to say anything? The hatred has gone off the chart.
I was very taken aback and it took me days to get over it, so shocking it was…
“The era of Pax Americana is coming to an ignominious end I believe.”
This is a horribly naive take. And those who are cheering it on are equally naive.
The giant squid has a number of different ways to derail all of this. It includes destroying non-nuclear countries who might be tempted to stray from the fold. That can be economically, technologically, societal disruption via assassinations, stirring up civil unrest and “pandemics”, some good old fashioned destruction of critical infrastructure (SEE: Nord Stream), or just outright carpet bombing. Then there’s always piracy, naval blockades, and about a dozen other things even a total amateur like myself can think of. Neither Russia nor China is going to risk nuclear war with the U.S. over what we might do to some third country or countries. Hell, we’re on Russia’s doorstep funneling bazillions of $ and conventional weapons to neo-Nazis just to tie them down in Ukraine for God knows how long and they don’t want nuclear war. If we turn Saudi Arabia and Iran into a sheet of glass and send Brazil back to the stone age, there isn’t squat they will do about it because they’re not suicidal – but they have to know we might be. WWIII? Go ahead, make my day. Do you feel lucky, punk?
Meanwhile, there’s all of the tens of trillions of $ we’ve spent developing technology and weaponry for decades that, I am quite sure, sits in orbit above us and deep underground, about which none of us knows anything.
To think that we are going to meekly accept having our wings clipped by any of this is the wrong take. You’re drawing an example from the wrong movie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-m4u-RMSMg
The world is indeed changing, but it most definitely is not for the better. The psychopaths that rule us are willing to kill as many as it takes to remain in control. That has to be crystal clear to everyone.
What a bunch of garbage! The US hasn’t won a war in decades and was just chased out of Afghanistan like a beaten dog, while the so called Taliban took over the leadership in one week. US has no balls and no means to do anything anywhere anymore. They are pinned down in Ukraine sending Billions in crappy military equipment and money to keep their pathetic proxy alive, while the rest of the world is trading with each other bypassing the USD. The US in itself is a failed state. Derailing trains, high criminal rate, poverty and high drug abuse are just the tip of the iceberg. The US is a net importer. It cannot survive on its own anymore. All the US can do is blow up stuff in sime covered operations and point the finger on others, because they are too afraid of the consequences.
That indeed is more than pathetic for someone that considers himself a hegemon.
Juan imagines the US is still all powerful. Ready and able to shape the world to its own designs. He has not noticed the radical changes afoot, and the extent to which US power is declining more with every passing day.
As I said to the other respondent, quit paying attention to the fairy tales and endless jabber you hear from ANY media. It’s ALL a diversion. If you think that the U.S. has spent decades and untold trillions of dollars on a behemoth MIC just to have it swept away by the likes of Russia or China and a few piss-ant countries like Brazil and Saudi Arabia, you’re naive. If you think the transnational capitalist class that controls 100+ TRILLION $ of wealth is going to line up behind authoritarian Russia or totalitarian China against the U.S., you’re dreaming.
Strap in, because the ride is going to be deadly for most of humanity – but very profitable for the TCC.
Hey, they want to thin the herd anyway.
Exactly. If the US is run by psychopaths, that are willing to sacrifice everything and everyone for their own agenda, why are we still walking around, why are countries turning away from the western hegemony? Facts and simple logic are contradicting his own ideas. A bully will strike at the slightest sign of uprising from others, just because it is exactly what he does/needs … upholding his reign with pure intimidation and raw violence. We saw it happening before. Russia, China and Iran are just to powerful for the US to make a move. Hence the use of proxies to face them. The US has overplayed it’s hand and they are going down. The mad US government doesn’t even care about their own problems as they have so many that could be fixed easily, if they wanted to. The US government is only focused on their problems outside with other nations opposing their world hegemony. They use proxies to fight those nations and they also gladly throw their vassals under the bus to slow down their own demise.
How some people think the US could avoid all of this, because they can and would, is beyond me. I’m 100% sure, if they could, they would have done it in a heart-beat. But they simply can’t and what we see happening today, is the only thing they can do, namely sow chaos and destruction all over the world in a pathetic attempt to somehow uphold the status quo. I’m also 100% sure the US could use nukes, but they know very well, that this time around they would not survive the retaliation of such an strike.
In my opinion the US has chosen the wrong path to the ending of their world hegemony. Starting wars, especially ones that they can’t possibly win, is always the most stupid move to do. It only adds up to all that bad image they got themselves over the time. Like a dog gone mad, someone will have to put them down, especially when everyone recognizes, that this dog is mostly toothless.
“I’m also 100% sure the US could use nukes, but they know very well, that this time around they would not survive the retaliation of such an strike.”
I am reminded of a scene from the movie, ‘Titanic’:
Rose: Oh mother, shut up! Don’t you understand? The water is freezing and there aren’t enough boats. Not enough by half. Half the people on this ship are going to die.
Cal Hockley: Not the better half.
Referring to movies is is how you want to counter a discussion? Again, if the US had a tiny chance to survive a first strike, they would go with it instead of doing that clown show they do now. Looks like the US has met his true enemy and is just shy of doing anything of what you say they could do, because they apparently like to struggle and loose face.
“The US hasn’t won a war in decades”
If you think the regional wars the U.S. has fought were intended to be “won” in some WWII sense, you’re not paying attention. These wars are intended to drag on for years – even decades – in order to expend weaponry that then has to be replaced by newer weaponry. The few get filthy rich from this. They are also testing grounds for equipment and everything else. The psychopaths in charge could not care less about the human carnage or “winning”.
“They are pinned down in Ukraine”
The U.S. isn’t “pinned down”. That would be Russia. And, once again, U.S. weapons manufacturers and Wall Street are getting richer from it all.
Quit paying attention to ANY narratives you hear from ANY media. All you are looking at and arguing about is the puppet show, while the real story has nothing to do with any of it.
The real fun hasn’t even started yet.
P.S. Anyone looking to a totalitarian regime like China or an authoritarian state like Russia to “save the world” has got rocks in their head.
Oh no, not another “We (USA) won WW2” fiction fest.
The Soviet Union inflicted 70% of the attrition on the Third Reich, not the US, not anybody else.
If Britain had not fought to remain free then would the D-Day landings have come from?
Sorry to mention Britain, as we all know that Britain was just a stopover for the magnificent US military on their way to liberate all of Europe on their own.
Always remember like a good American to never, ever mention British, Canadian, Free French, British Empire forces who fought and died on those beaches because Hollywood says it wasn’t so.
If the Soviets were not in WW2 the German army would have wiped the allies out.
If you doubt that then look up real facts written by AMERICAN military historians who aren’t blinded by the red , white and blue.
Why are associating the MIC and Wall St with America?
They are SCUM.
They do not represent what America was supposed to be as advised by your founding fathers.
They are ruled by the banking cabal headquartered in the City of London so if you want to congratulate somebody on “America growing richer” in yet another war that is NONE of your business then congratulate the City of London bankers who rule over you.
Disregarding facts and logic to propage you own wishful thinking won’t change anyone’s views. Of course the MIC is hammering money for their crappy hardware, but there is no Wunderwaffe in some military basement waiting to be unleashed on the bad Ruskies … that is just pure nonsense on your part. Occasionally I see people here trying to defy the realities on the ground just because they can’t cope with the US loosing on literally every front.
Zumwald, F-35 are just examples of huge amounts of wasted taxpayers money so the US can scam their allies to enrich itself too. The new B-52 is also a total hype and has zero stategic value for the military. It is not even build and is already outdated as it doesn’t add any needed capabilities to the existing force. It’s a highly overpriced platform for short range standoff missiles, nothing else.
Again, check your facts and stop projecting some whisful fantasies about how the US is misleading everyone. The US is in no position to do anything. If they could they would, as we all seen it while they destroyed one defenseless country after another in recent years. Iran did shot down the Global Hawk, with no response from the mighty US. And there are more examples of the US getting it like that with zero response.
The world is indeed changing. The power center is shifting towards the east. The US will face consequences for going rouge on other nations, if they dare to do so again. Attacking Russia was the last nail in their coffin for hegemony.
Do you have a cheat sheet of word combinations like “totalitarian regime” and “authoritarian state”, or do you make up shit as you go?
Sadly you are overestimating US strength.
While the idea that America is an omniscient superpower that has some ‘secret’ weapons may appeal, the reality is that its a busted flush, my friend.
America is very weak right now, relative to Russia and China.
Ah… Don’t look now, Juan, but your over hyped military and all its vaunted Wunderwaffen are being revealed as hollow and ineffective on the battlefield of Ukraine right now. Oh, and the whole world is watching. Even Hollywood can’t make this lesson disappear.
Regarding the F-16 future deliveries to Ukraine, my understanding is that they cannot live and take off from Poland. They must stay in Ukraine.
What is to stop Russia from obliterating all the runways in Ukraine?
There are way too many of them, not to mention that they are using roads too. Not even USA/NATO, with their air supremacy, could destroy all the runways of small countries they terrorized.
Any attack on Russia’s air forces originating from any other country than Ukraine is an attack from Nato, nothing else. Forget that whole F-16 idea. I want to see which of those Nato countries let the Ukies **use** their runways. Because no one can say that there are indeed Ukrainian pilots, this will mean a direct involvement of Nato into that conflict. They can state otherwise, but if I were Russia, I would publicly declare that such a move would be seen as an act of war on the part of Nato and therefore would trigger a direct military responseby Russia, probably even with tactical weapons just to make sure those idiots in Nato get the “message”.
I said it weeks before. The give them weapons, then tanks, then planes and then nukes. That is how the west will end it’s pathetic existence. They are all indebted and they really prefer a war now. The US is probably not kidding to default. They will never pay that money back anyway and they cannot pay the interest too. People all over the world saw that coming. The Fed did paint itself into a corner. End of story. They either slash the ff-rate to zero or they will go broke soon enough. Which one will it be? We will see.
Juan Valdez, stick to farming coffee, senior.
It is a strange conundrum many of us face, do what is natural and support our own countries, countries that have become malevolent towards us and create chaos and misery in the world, or support foreign nations that at least appear to be fighting against this. I say appear as sometimes things aren’t always as they superficially appear, but at this stage the shadow of doubt is given. It has shades of a Tolkien epic, a battle of good vs evil, or at least not as evil vs evil. All countries have their problems and government overreach, just that ours have become the worst of the lot, apparently under the control of a modern Sauron.
It’s akin to an abusive family one is born into, and similar mental gymnastics apply.
I guess letting German industry and Russian resources ally and having a sluggish, but US friendly powerhouse would have been too obvious.
Now Chinese AND Russian technology, industry and resources are combined and the EU sliding into a bigger US dependency…
Good job :sarcasm:
“Early on Brazil made an agreement with China to stop using the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency in their bilateral trade.”
While I agree with the sentiment of the article, it needs to be pointed out that “reserve currency” and currency (much) used in trade are not the same thing. Certainly, countries are moving away from doing all their trade in USD. The really important trade, of course, is oil and that too is moving away from the 1975 petrodollar deal ie “oil trades in USD and only USD.” The implications for the US economy of that move are, IMHO, gigantic.
On the other hand, reserve currency is, in practice, where you park your excess money (ie trading profits). *For the time being* I agree with contributor Fed, above, that USD remains where countries will put those profits. However, given the increasingly visible decline of the *real* American economy (ie from manufacturing to financial), I agree with those who anticipate the end of USD as world reserve currency. Of course, following its decoupling from gold, that was always inevitable.
I’m reminded of a (slightly vulgar) cartoon from years ago – a bunch of high-power economists and bankers are sitting around a table. One of them says “Naw, gold and oil fluctuate too much. How’s about we tie the value of the dollar to the cost of a blowjob.” 🙂
“our own countries”
That some are immersed in illusions of “our own countries” are also to be welcomed.
U.S. is run by lgbt-beta male-nerds,there is nothing nerdish in Russia.
True, but an analogy can’t be too close to reality or it is not an analogy (and then gets censored).
Nerds make things – entitled trust baby jocks pilfer and live on the accomplishments of former generations. They are lazy (unwilling to put in the long hours of study – unlike Russian and Chinese students) while telling themselves stories of greatness (using worthless metrics). In contrast, the nerds are busy creating the actual future (and its dimensions), using their brains to fight (for access to scarce resources).
Nerds use information technology to control the physical world – think integrated A2/AD, think AI in agriculture – the rich kids use finance – but you can’t eat finance. And it’s the integrated systems that are a key basis of Russian military capabilities versus NATO. Its smart glide bombs and drone targeting and kamikaze drones to trick UAF air defenses to realizing their location, and Penicillin that are the actual (as in changing the battlefield dynamic) wonderwaffen.
To take the analogy further, the West drives BMWs (F16 that needs a swept runway), whose maintenance is extremely expensive and difficult (trust baby kids), and Russia drives a cheap Toyota pickup that works with half its parts broken by the rocks in the dirt road (i.e., the MIGs that can launch from a forest road with their coverable intakes).
Or consider a smart bomb (a trust baby solution that makes lots of $$ but few bombs – how many BMWs can the rich drive) versus a dumb bomb and smart launcher (a nerd solution that enables mass production – Toyota sells millions of pickups to Africa).
The cluelessness of the American public to world affairs has gotten worse since widespread use of the internet. Some of this is by design of the government. They want a veil on their activities because they do not act on behalf of the public.
Even Obama warned “never underestimate Joe’s ability to f* things up”. Joe Biden, his point man for the Ukraine Maidan 2014 regime-change, delivered!
A decent man is a man at peace within himself and sees the world around him with equanimity. I have been reading Larry for the past year since Putin was driven by the American neocon pirates to launch SMO, and here I am right now sitting in a café overlooking the Mediterranean in Tarragona, Spain, and reading Larry. Larry addresses the issues of war and peace as a decent man who happens to be an American and not as an American who has lost the sense of being decent. He sees the world around him is, as I strive to do if I shut off the din and noise emanating from the American led proxy war in Ukraine, a beautiful place despite all our efforts to make it dark and ugly. Yesterday I was visiting Barcelona and took an hour boat ride and got to speak with the skipper. I asked him how the war has affected the people here, and his reply was look around. The people as far as I can see around me, and speaking to the few I engaged over a drink to hear their thoughts have no bone in this fight. I have not yet seen a Ukrainian flag on display and, as the skipper on the boat remarked, the people in Catalonia, this part of Spain, have no animus towards the Russian. This war has been ginned up by the Euro elites who have, as was once said of the Bourbons of France, seemed to have learned nothing and forgotten nothing of Euro history at least since 1945. When Europe inevitably collapsed out of its own hubris, ugliness, and folly in 1945, the rest of the world marched onward on its own beat and old societies beyond Europe emerged as new countries, independent and groping forward to learn the new ways of the techno-modern world administered for and on them by Europe over the past several centuries while they remained bent upon regaining somehow their own dignity consistent with their past.
I came to North America almost fifty years ago. My imagination of America was as much shaped by books and films written and produced by Americans, as by the reality I was leaving behind in South Asia of the war in Vietnam that also inescapably shaped my views, and that of my generation, of the underside of American reality depicted in The Godfather and The Apocalypse Now. Europe kept its distance from America’s war in Vietnam, as did much of the world. My point is America sadly learned nothing from the war it waged against the people of Indochina based on lies and imperial arrogance. JFK was murdered, so was his brother Robert, and Malcolm X and MLK, Jr in their striving for peace and respect of the other, and Vietnam’s violence came home to America. But for those of us who came to America in the second half of the last century believed, and still do, that there was more than enough of decency among Americans as a people and culture that the goodness of America will come through despite the ugliness that floats to the top in any society where the ruling elite goes insane in its drive for absolute power. The Eurocentric age ended in 1945, though the perfidious Britons have continued to play their role of Iago to America’s Othello until they go down with Othello as they will in this tragicomedy of the American-led proxy war in Ukraine. The sun is about to set in America’s own short-lived unipolar hegemony that should, we may pray, liberate most decent Americans from the clutches of their neocon pirates they embraced for all the wrong emotions of guilt feeling after 1945. America’s liberation from the follies of its Empire of Lies will also be for Larry and our children and grandchildren, at least for a cycle of a few generations, a New Age of civility and decency until once again, if mankind survives, a repeat of the cycle of ugliness floating to the top somewhere in God’s green earth to torment the rest of the world.
A very thoughtful comment.
Wise words.
Thank you for posting.
Well said and thank you. This rings of the Truth!
I hope you don’t mind but I’ve copied and pasted your remarks into an ongoing text file of great commentaries since the “pandemic” to read over from time to time and try to understand not only how it took me so long to find out but how it is that almost everything out there is a lie. (I’m not young, been lied to a long long time). “Information” overload indeed.
I live in the rural south and almost nothing has changed. People are still people and most are decent so all this chaos is just bizarre to me. Again, I think you’ve nailed it.
The problem with the West is that it is run by nerds. The world would be a much less dangerous place if the West were run by smug golden boys, like Trump, and brain dead athletes. Ideologues are far more lethal than hedonists.
Komsomolskaya Pravda often features articles from the RF frontline. The stories are impressionistic and relay real dialogues in a vivid way. This time the frontline at Ugledar is being visited by the journalist, who is shown war trophies: an American Browning machine gun, complete with a Spanish manual and enough cartridges for two minutes of battle. Just imagine the Spanish donating this museum piece from the Spanish Civil war, ending up in the Donbass.

How the “eyes” of Russian gunners work near Ugledar: The sky is full of copters, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are looking for gaps and “give” trophies
KP.RU military correspondent Dmitry Steshin spoke about the work of Russian artillerymen near Ugledar
Last week, I was told, “our artillery near Ugledar worked so intensely that the fighters cannot remember such heavy fire.” Tracked the unusual activity of the APU. The enemy is constantly maneuvering along the front, he has enough roadways.
The fields have dried up, now you can drive everywhere. Analysts and experts are right – the “Ugledar direction” may be interesting for Bandera’s “counterattack”, which still will not start. There may be several goals. For example, the chic Donetsk-Mariupol highway, it has just been repaired. From the front line to it within easy reach.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine may try, if not to capture Volnovakha, then relieve tension from their troops from the last forces defending Maryinka near Donetsk. Lots of options. Although, the officers of the OBTF (which stands for operational-combat tactical formation) “Cascade” carefully noted, they say, “if there is a strike in the Ugledar direction, it is unlikely that it is planned as the main one. On the other hand, the auxiliary can easily become the main one, all these are difficult to calculate probabilities … “. Indeed, it is difficult to calculate such plans of the enemy, they can be noticed and preferably as soon as possible. To disrupt or stop.
ARRIVAL! GO!
Our artillery no longer stands in one place, but roams along the front line. We are advancing to the front with aerial reconnaissance “Cascade”, and somewhere far away, behind the soft green forest plantations, the engines of trucks towing artillery started to work. Moved out at the same time. We hid the car in some barn, I suppose that the artillery also found a secluded place for itself. We ran across the edge of the field and immediately dived into a cozy forest plantation. The reconnaissance guys, looking at their watches, turned on the radio, unpacked the copter. Literally, a hand with a copter sticks out from the bushes, the second aircraft controller quietly says: “I raise it,” and the car goes into the sky like a candle. Here, briefly, in the walkie-talkie:
– Boa constrictor-windfall. We are working.
I look over the operator’s shoulder at the tablet. Landing after landing flickers under the copter, the operator moves his lips – he counts them. Finally, the copter freezes, at a distance of 300 meters from the landing. It is difficult to understand with the eye that this is a fortified area. But the copter turns the camera left and right, and I see how the bottle glass flashed under the sun, then a spot of reddish discarded earth jumped out of the landscape – they dug in at night and did not have time to disguise the dump. Finally, a garbage dump with bright green packages from dry rations is clearly visible. When they fade in the sun, they become even brighter, more noticeable. Our rations blend in better with the terrain.
A whole series of commands is fired into the radio, the meaning of which is completely incomprehensible to me. But at that very moment, at the limit of hearing, a gun barks and a white gap appears on the screen of the tablet. The wind lazily dragged the smoke into the field. Undershot, but the spotter is pleased:
– Boa constrictor-windfall. Great. “West – 10”.
Another arrival is already in the forest plantation.
And behind the green, so far thin forests, the gunners got hot, and gap after gap appears on the tablet screen.
The guys only occasionally intervened, adjusting the fire on arrivals:
– Boa constrictor-windfall. “North 20”, one more (projectile. – Author) and one more … Let’s go!
THE ENEMY COMES IN WAVES
We were interrupted by our own aircraft, we heard the distant rumble of propellers. One of the air controllers turned the copter back:
– “Turntables”, when they go, jam everything around and us, of course. You can easily lose the copter.
Two K-52s flashed over the edge of the field, followed, a little behind, by the Mi-8. I flew in this last summer for an attack in the Kharkov region (read on KP.RU). There is a doctor and a fire support team in this helicopter, his task is to evacuate the crew if our car is shot down. I couldn’t resist asking:
– Guys, now we have unwound the enemy fortified area. And in response, they pile on?
The boa constrictor laughed under the mask:
– There is a big difference. We throw them the 152nd caliber, and they give us the 60th.
I demonstrated my knowledge of the peculiarities of the Ugledar direction:
– Are these Polish mines? “Silent”?
– Well, they are silent, because the expelling charge is weak, the exit of the mine is not audible.
– Yes, there the mortar itself can be worn behind the back on a belt, it is made of composite materials …
– Right. And the worst thing is that they have these mines – just heaps. They can, for example, throw a hundred at once into one square – they compensate for their low power with a quantity, like they beat from a machine gun. In general, the Poles sponsor them well. The other day, such a calculation was found in urban areas, our colleagues flew in, dropped a bomb on them, that’s all.
I ask the second scout, with the call sign “Boston”:
How is the enemy feeling now?
– He has little equipment at the moment, but he is trying to enter in small groups. If our drone noticed this, that’s it, the end of the offensive. Now the battles have become different, copters and artillery are fighting. Therefore, the enemy is trying to take us by surprise. Maneuvering all the time, but I would not say that it has somehow increased here. Everything comes in waves – stepped, rolled back.
AUTOMATIC UNDER KHOKHLOMA
The reconnaissance aircraft threw us into the village, where we left the car in a shelter. The near rear, everything that is possibly hidden. The fighters say: “Sometimes, we have a rush hour here, our drones, strangers, how they don’t collide in the air, it’s incomprehensible!”.
As a confirmation of these words, I hear an absolutely fantastic sound in the air – a trimmer-mower flies across the sky. It flies very slowly, heavily, obviously not ours – what should he do here? At the end of this straining flight, we hear a heavy blow to the ground of some large mass, but no “bulging” occurs. A little later, they explained to me that it was our electronic warfare that intercepted a Ukrainian drone loaded with explosives and dropped it on the ground away from the village. I did not go to look, sappers will still work there.
Guys show me trophies and curiosities. The first to brag is the officer of the “Ruyan” department. A combat officer, he got to the headquarters after being wounded due to what they were demonstrating to me – an American Browning machine gun. They took it on one of the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Ugledar. Completely complete, even with instructions in Spanish and a form. It seems like a curiosity, but what to do with it? Ruyan laughs:
– Our Utes is still better, but you can’t stock up on this cartridge and there is nowhere to get them yet. There are a couple of boxes, but this is for two minutes of battle. Maybe you will write to the museum to take it?
I firmly promise. “Ruyan” shows me his machine gun. It is engraved “under Khokhloma”, released in the late 1980s and reads “2 B” in a fancy pattern. Presumably, with this machine gun, a special forces soldier from the 2nd separate guards brigade fought in the Second Chechen. The Ruyan submachine gun immediately fell in love and with the help of the broken Azov regiment (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation), he decorated it with a tuning forearm, a pistol grip and a butt damper. I couldn’t stop, I bought a bipod, a sight and a single-point belt already for my own.
LAND OF PHEASANTS AND “PLASTIC BIRDS”
A fighter with the call sign “Culinar”, a Siberian, from the mobilized, looks at our voices. The “Culinar” looks like it came out under Ugledar straight from the pages of ancient Russian chronicles. In his hands he has an Izhevsk hunting vertical. Knowing that since 2014 some wild number of pheasants have bred in the Donbass, I am not surprised. Pheasants even sometimes interfere with the passage of cars. In general, pheasant soup at the forefront is not a restaurant exotic. I wish “Culinar” traditionally “no fluff, no feather”, but he tells me the unexpected:
– I hunt plastic birds, drones. Here, the fraction “troika”, from 60 meters will fill up. I recently bought the gun myself.
– Did you manage to hit anyone?
The interlocutor replies seriously:
– Not yet, but I will, I have a faithful eye, I have been hunting since childhood.
“Culinar” says that this hunt is dangerous. If the operator notices that they are hitting his drone, he can also drop ammunition on the “hunter” himself. But “Culinar” does not hunt alone, but with comrades armed, as he puts it, with “electroguns”.
I remembered the words of the Boston reconnaissance aircraft:
– We fly confidently, they confidently try to land us. But we have skillful hands and golden heads, so THEM rarely succeed. And also, we have a Siberian hunter. And such people will not be delivered to the enemy, either from Europe or from across the ocean.
INSTEAD OF AFTERWORD
When I returned from the Ugledar direction, I immediately posted a message on social networks – the captured Browning machine gun wants to fall into good hands! Strictly to the museum! Already in the morning I found two letters in the mail – from the Donetsk local history and Luhansk. The machine gun is eagerly awaited. Who gets it, let those who got this trophy with blood decide.
These Nerds they are like a jungle that needs to be trimmed back time to time to preserve the glorious and most well tended garden. The Gardeners proclaimed that they have won history and all this messiness we see is just a little overgrown foliage really it’s not a threat not even a real challenge just a minor temporary maintenance issue, really it nothing.
Everyone must see that the Gardeners Won it all they are the winners for all time and no matter what you see occurring its nothing but a temporary little distraction from the glorious illumination emitting from our self sanctified rulers.

An imperfect metaphor but no less valid. The Russians aren’t nerds in fact they are beautiful intelligent, warm and a joy to be around. I have met many in my travels and have been impressed and enriched each time.
Most western do-called intellectuals would be mystified by the depth and richness of Russias literature. Its says much about a culture that could produce a Dosteyevski, Pushkin and Tolstoy.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/the-end-of-king-dollar-the-forces-at-play-in-de-dollarisation/ar-AA1bEOr9
LONDON (Reuters) – Rivalry with China, fallout from Russia’s war in Ukraine and wrangling once again in Washington over the U.S. debt ceiling have put the dollar’s status as the world’s dominant currency under fresh scrutiny.
Russia’s sanctions-imposed exile from global financial systems last year also fuelled speculation that non-U.S. allies would diversify away from dollars.
Below are some arguments why de-dollarisation will happen – or possibly why it won’t.
SLIPPING RESERVE STATUS
The dollar share of official FX reserves fell to a 20-year low of 58% in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to International Monetary Fund data.
Stephen Jen, CEO of Eurizon SLJ Capital Limited, said that shift was more pronounced when adjusted for exchange rate.
“What happened in 2022 was a very sharp plummeting in the dollar share in real-terms,” Jen said, adding this was a reaction to the freezing of half of Russia’s $640 billion in gold and FX reserves following its 2022 invasion of Ukraine. This had sparked a re-think in countries such as Saudi Arabia, China, India and Turkey about diversifying to other currencies.
TAKING THE LONGER VIEW
The dollar share of central banks’ foreign reserves in the final quarter of 2022 did hit a two-decade low, but the move has been gradual and it is now at almost a similar level as 1995.
Central banks put rainy day funds in dollars in case they need to prop up exchange rates during economic crises. If a currency weakens too far against the dollar, oil and other commodities traded in the U.S. currency become expensive, raising living costs and fuelling inflation.
Many currencies, from the Hong Kong dollar to the Panama balboa, are pegged against the dollar for similar reasons.
WANING GRIP ON COMMODITIES
The almighty dollar has had a lock on commodity trading, allowing Washington to hinder market access for producer nations from Russia to Venezuela and Iran.

But trade is shifting. India is purchasing Russian oil in UAE dirham and roubles. China switched to the yuan to buy some $88 billion worth of Russian oil, coal and metals. Chinese national oil company CNOOC and France’s TotalEnergies completed their first yuan-settled LNG trade in March.
After Russia, nations are questioning “what if you fall on the wrong side of sanctions?” said BNY Mellon strategist Geoffrey Yu.
The yuan’s share of global over-the-counter forex transactions rose from almost nothing 15 years ago to 7%, according to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
BUT TOO COMPLEX A SYSTEM
De-dollarisation would require a vast and complex network of exporters, importers, currency traders, debt issuers and lenders to independently decide to use other currencies. Unlikely.
The dollar is on one side of almost 90% of global forex transactions, representing about $6.6 trillion in 2022, according to BIS data.
About half of all offshore debt is in dollars, the BIS said, and half of all global trade is invoiced in dollars.
The dollar’s functions “all reinforce each other”, said Berkeley economics and political science professor Barry Eichengreen.
“There just isn’t a mechanism for getting banks and firms and governments all to change their behaviours at the same time.”
A FRAGMENTED FUTURE
While there may not be a single dollar successor, mushrooming alternatives could create a multipolar world.
BNY Mellon’s Yu said nations were realizing that one or two dominant reserve asset blocks was “just not diversified enough.”
Global central banks are looking at a wider variety of assets, including corporate debt, tangible assets such as real estate, and other currencies.
“This is the process that is underway,” said Mark Tinker, managing director of Toscafund Hong Kong. “The dollar is going to be used less in the global system.”
AN UNSHAKEABLE BASIS
Because large bank deposits are not always insured, businesses use government bonds as a cash alternative. The dollar’s status is therefore underpinned by the $23 trillion U.S. Treasury market – viewed as a safe haven for money.
“The depth, liquidity and safety of the Treasury market is a big reason why the dollar is a leading reserve currency,” said Brad Setser, a Council on Foreign Relations fellow who tracks cross-border currency flows.
International holdings of Treasuries are vast and there’s no credible alternative yet. Germany’s bond market is relatively small, at just over $2 trillion.
Commodities producers may agree to trade with China in yuan, but recycling cash into Chinese government bonds remains tricky due to difficulties opening accounts and regulatory uncertainty.
“But you can hop on an app and trade Treasuries from anywhere,” Natwest Markets emerging markets strategist Galvin Chia said.

The YouTube video you posted must have been damn good because they took it down in service to the Nazi Anglo-Zionist Empire of Lies and Hate.
Hmm. The first video is shown as removed for violating YT’s TOS. (Or is that only here in Canuckistan? Others seem to have been able to view it.)
I’m curious to know what it’s about …
It either hurt profit of some company (by copyright infrigment) or contained hate speach (which is a code term for hurting someone’s profit indirectly).
It was also unavailable in UK.
I think a more apt comparison for revenge of the nerds is to describe the post ww2 replacement of our leadership with a foreign elite
Larry can’t seem to name names.
Who as in the (((who))) is this (((America))) doing things antithetical to American principles and ideals.
Look no further than the current composition of The White House staff….35+% belongs to one (((religious order))) and despite the distribution of religious affiliation within our country that 35+% sure as hell isn’t Mormon, 7th Day Adventist, Satanists, Mennonites or Catholics.
The question ought to be what is this country’s biggest scourge, MBAs or (((That 35+percent))).
It’s time to stop pissing around and name name’s. Then we can move on its removal from the body politic.
I think that you might be a little low with that 35% figure. I heard about 70%.
At any rate you are right, the protagonist here is loath to name some names, like everyone in the USA right now. The untouchable subject. Until those changes nothing, absolutely nothing is going to change for the better of the country or the people in general. Amazing to me that big fat grinning and mocking elephant standing directly in the middle of the room but seemingly invisible to everyone.
By the way, what was the video that was taken down? I am late to this article.
Certainly, a big chance that it had something to do with the tribe. Then again maybe not because the protagonist writing this blog avoids the subject like the plague. Tell the truth, cannot blame him, otherwise it will be his ass on the block.
Just imagine that Son of the Revolution, yours and everybody else’s balls cut off even before any shooting starts. How can anyone start a revolution in the US when they dont’t even know who the fucking enemy is !!!!?????
A message from a Son of the South. A south that was cut up, raped, and dismembered by the same northern mentality and criminals that has run rough shod over half the world in the last 60 or 70 years.
Let if fall brother, let if fall.
Apparently Voltaire once said, “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticise”
There is a certain truth to the above statement. We can loudly and publicly criticise kings and queens, PMs and presidents.
But to critique a certain psuedo religious group (or their false history) and it’s a career ender in the “west”, and prison in some countries.
“Don’t let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.” From the movie “Heat”.
A very nice man on this forum asked me why I didn’t just leave the US now the other day and take my dog with me.
It is primarily Stella, my Malinois. But there are other issues. Being 63, married thrice, and living with 8 other women, and raising 2 daughters in the same house left a certain amount of JUNK.
I have actually managed to completely empty one of the three bedrooms. It has a made bed, an empty dresser, and a completely empty closet with 6 empty clothes hangers. There is a mink coat hanging on the wall. (Remnant from my owning a pawn shop days).
I occasionally go in there, brush my hand down that marvelous mink coat, and just sit on the bed. And absorb the empty zen.
I am on my bedroom now. And here is the problem. A lot of the “junk” is pricey. I used to own all 3 German pistols from their big trials program. The P5, the P6, and P7. I have sold the P5 and 6. I still have the P7 squeeze cocker. Anyway, I am going thru a drawer and find two German P6 mags. They are going for $65 each now. I give a sigh. Take a few pictures and put them on a Gunbroker auction.
This is literally a 2 hour job a day. Going thru shit, throwing shit away, and selling shit. But it is incredibly exhilarating. It is like losing weight. You just feel like you are walking on air.
By the time I lose Stella, I hope to have an airy, echoing, empty house. More money in my dividend stocks, and the complete ability to “walk out in 30 seconds flat”.
And this is not the ramblings of an old man. This is a direct reflection of the issues Larry brings up. Of the world we live in. People stayed and died in Mariupol and Bakhmut because their “shit’ was there. People died in the Warsaw ghetto because their “shit” was there.
What a perfect comment…
Walking on air….losing weight….dog in hierarchy of important things in life….precious guns/parts to sell….emptying spaces….and of course, being old…..kind of hit an important chord….
30 second rule seems perfect….trying to get there…
Kind of interesting watching humanity destroy itself with it’s never ending greed and envy…all from a front seat, thanks to people like Larry, Scott, Duran, Atlas, Mcgregor ……but even though the show is exhilarating and compelling, and I would like to see the ending, which I actually believe it’s going to be great, and a big advancement of humanity….I would still give it all up in a flash, even less than 30 seconds, with wife and dogs of course, to be able to say: beam me up Scotty!…. and disappear from this planet of apes trying to destroy each other and I not having the capacity to leave it….good luck in your trek!
You might find this eerie, but similar things are done by people preparing for sucuide. I guess ending a chapter in life is done the same way, regardles of existance of the next one.
I do think the second video is a perfect metaphor .. not for the fledgling BRICS movement, but for the degenerate elites in the West
Especially the opening where it states, “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s terms of “service.” And Im guessing service in this context means the Monica Lewinsky kind of “service”
When you print money out of thin air, I guess the only thing that gives it value is the human belief that people think it has value. When people realize their belief is based on a Ponzi scheme they lose that belief. Combine that with the fact that the US basically stole foreign reserves through sanctions on a whim, makes people believe they can be next to get robbed. For decades Russia, Saudi, etc. sold their valuable natural resources in exchange for some paper we printed yesterday, whos the dummy? The world is finally waking up, they don’t want to be toyed with anymore.
Thank goodness the Cold War ended over 30 years ago. Under Western control it’s been a mess. Will this new system be better? I Have no idea. We are not even in competition anymore. Culturally, economically or militarily. Hard to see how it could be worse.
For Larry:
Would you be kind enough to provide a link to a platform other than U-Tube for the 1st video clip you embedded in this piece?
When your article came up on my device, that 1st video clip was blacked out with a note attached:”This content has been removed… for violating… standards .”
Much Appreciated, Thanks in Advance
Look at all the organizations you mentioned, they are all subservient to the inbred european moneyed interests that existed before the USA was born. (When Rockefeller died, he owned only 17% of the “Bank”, the rest was owned by the Redchields, he was a front man only.)
Don’t be naive to think that there are no Americans resisting the full spectrum assault of the WEF on the US, conducted by the likes of Soros, Janet Yellen, Obama and the Clintons to name a few, all WEF graduades by the way.
The war is on. Like it or not if the US goes down, Europe will go down faster and the Slave Masters of Europe will get all their colonies back. So be careful when you use Capital letters.
The next planned big looting move will be against US pension funds, just like they did to the UK last year. The pension funds and the Insurance companies are loaded with levereged assets and managed by….. Blackrock. Keep an eye open and see if Blackrock is brought down by the New York boys and the Fed.
Incidentally, the debt crisis is about destroying the faith and credit of the US. A few days ago, Kevin McCarthy, speaker of the house, stepped out of a meeting on the debt crisis and said: these people want to default on the debt. So, if you can see, the US is under attack and the war is on between factions loyal to the US and the Communists Eurotrash.
The original comment, was, I think from a play, performed in Rome: “Where the Romans go, they make a desert, then they call it peace”.
Antony Blinken was much smarter back when he wrote “Ally versus Ally” than he is today. If he applied the lessons he outlined in that treatise on the Siberian Pipeline Crisis to current conflicts, he would be doing the opposite of what he is doing today. I suspect his policy of warplomacy is not actually his idea, but that of his puppet masters.
I think the framing of your analysis is incorrect. The “beginning of the end” so to speak has been a series of events, ending at the Russian sanctions. Over the last 40+ plus years, Cuba, Iran, Nicaragua, Venezuela Miramar, North Korea, Afghanistan, Syria… basically any unyielding nation, has been sanctioned. Even currently “tariffed” China. Others are not even listed that were sanctioned, “got their minds right” and sanctions were lifted.
Had this path not been well trodden, it’s hard to say internationally where Russian sanctions may have been. So, Russia wasn’t the beginning of the end, it is the end.
Now we all get to witness… what “stuff” is the US made of? Can we retain dignity like the USSR, accept that we must recalibrate? Accept that our country must re-orient its economy & culture? That the smack talk about “diversity” & “acceptance” must actually be enacted, and do away with the superiority & snobbery of our culture? Can we withdraw our military bases to strategic defense of our nation, reducing our global military footprint?
Even before “Trump” was a thought, these questions of US direction when the “fall” would come plagued me. The collapse of the USSR was the most admirable collapse of a world power, retaining dignity, retaining military prowess, reorienting because that “system” didn’t work for the nation.
Any (communist or capitalist or any other) can collapse, the question is:
“What mettle are you made of?”
I truly believe we are still a decade away from complete removal of the global currency holder, but a decade or less is little time to take responsibility & reorient & retain at least some of our credibility. During the Trump/Clinton campaign, I know then, recalibrating & resetting was crucial to begin to stop the fall.
But Trump frankly was another tool , spent most of his time in office paying back is Israeli campaign lobbyists & donors & the rest of the time: defending himself from attacks, trashing the very trash able media, propping up business & MIC with “Space Force” and crap, then another year running for re-election.
So, no time, no support. to reorient anything, let alone “repent” in sackcloth & ashes for our nation and citizens & reorient to a path of rigorous hard work and decisive action to reign in the obvious disaster, foreign and domestic policy.
And no matter who is in office… no one, not one single elected leader, takes responsibility for a thing. There’s never a smidgeon of humility.
So, nuclear dust it is I guess.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, Rapture…….60 million waiting for the coming, the saviour of the Israelites. Victor Davis Hanson takes a group of 100 to visit occupied Jerusalem and comes back writing essays about everything wrong with the USA except just that. Bravo…….I mean, they just don’t make this shit up ! Only in America. And it is going to survive !? And what does Alex and Alex say, “I got a bridge to sell ya in ……….””
A message from a Son of the South. A south that was cut up, raped, and dismembered by the same northern mentality and criminals that has run rough shod over half the world in the last 60 or 70 years.
Can anyone imagine those demented assholes over in Germany gluing themselves to the streets or cars in support of the Palestinians? Or the massive amount of displaced and victimized Syrians, Iraqis’, Afghans, Libyans????? Those Brown people….OVER THERE. Out of sight, out of mind.
Let if fall brother, let if fall.
Too much similitudes. I know you’re familiar with 33rd grade satanists from DC that are known for their predictive programming technology.
Waiting for the day Africans will confederate to ostensibly colonize European and American transgenderlands.
Yes, Hollywoods social engineering was a little bit more subtler than today’s over the top social engineering….
Unfortunately for the Africans
The Chinese are colonial overlords in the Belgian mold
Unfortunately for everybody, anyone can write anything on the Internet. The only mold Belgians and Chinese have in common is the one for waffles.
what was the first video youtube says they deleted it. is it available on rumble or bitchute?
It is a scene from Revenge of the Nerds. Shows very few people at the Popular Frat booth and long lines at the NERDS booth. The NERDS are selling “pie” (a pie plate with whipped cream only but the naked picture of the girl friend of the head of the Jock Fraternity. Very funny.
One of my problems in a very astute essay is the use of the “Revenge of the Nerds” as an example of the conflict. I dislike the film because it showed nerds as these great, wonderful, gifted guys who took on the “frat boys,” who were shallow, effete, bigoted, etc. I dislike the analogy that American students who aren’t nerds are to be laughed at and looked down on, and the “losers” are the good ones. This is a Jewish idea fed to us from Hollywood and other cultural media, that the “outsiders” are the wise and knowing types. Also note how the nerds find allies in a black fraternity. Yeah, the blacks are always wise and kind, right? Oh, yes, and so wonderfully noble. Look, this is indoctrination.
I recall the film Animal House. entertaining as it is, it kind of began this, showing a bunch of drunken losers as great guys, and the normal frat/student types as psychos and bigots. I think a lot of film vulgarity and disgusting behavior dated from Animal House.
Like the ref. of the naked girl in the pie plate whose boyfriend was in the jock fraternity. Yeah, real hoot. Like in the film MASH, where Hotlips was openly humiliated in front of the entire unit. I just don’t dig this kind of humor, and see it as a kind of subversive behavior fed Into us.
Much like with the hundreds of high school films showing the jocks and cheerleaders as crass and despicable, while the “outsiders” are the geniuses and “sensitive.” I graduated in 1970, was an outsider and semi-nerd, and the jocks and cheerleaders at my H.S. were good kids. They always treated me well, never bullied people. A couple of basketball players became philanthropists, one a successful funeral director donating money to charity. A cheerleader became an attorney, another working for environmental causes. I think most of these screenwriters are nerdy losers who finally see their chance to get even by writing their scripts, all these wannabe Holden Caulfields.
The essay is good, and there are great comments here, but I just get tired of how we get the geopolitical problems and deceptions, but ignore our cultural indoctrination. Or maybe I should say sub-cultural. I’m glad to see a couple of posts equate nerds with the idiots ruining society and government. It’s as though the outsiders are finally getting their revenge on us. We must finally pay the price for being normal.
I was trying for something light-hearted. Good to know you were treated well in High School. Also, I think you’re right about some of the writers in Hollywood. They’re working out their High School trauma.
As I said, your essay was very good and like you always do, tell the reality of things. I suppose I think of a film like Breaking Away, which is semi-serious comedy about life in a college town, or Hoosiers, which was a good film about small-town basketball…which, by the way, Jules Feiffer said was racist because it showed white kids beating black kids in basketball. (which really happened in the story behind the film, but how dare the truth be told?). So who’s the nerd and who isn’t? Now, in our system, there is no standard to fall back on. We’re a vacuum waiting to be filled.
But I’ll agree that if the frat boys…the system…is like Skull and Bones and all the Bush Yalies, then we need nerds more than ever.
This Death by a Thousand Cuts (the destruction of the US and its “Petro Dollar”) has been truly on-going since the 1990s.
Today, it is a walking/murdering Zombie … and soon enough the zombie will return to hell from whence it came.
The upcoming St Petersburg conference starting on 1 June is going to be MUST watch
