The following video is bizarre. Andrew Milburn is the leader of the Mozart Group, which is comprised of former U.S. military personnel who are providing rudimentary training to Ukrainians. I am shocked by what I see in this video. Milburn, at times, is juvenile. He demonstrates no knowledge whatsoever about the predicates that sparked Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine. And his commentary on Putin in particular and Russians in general is cartoonish and shallow.
You want a contrast? Pull up any video of Doug MacGregor (Colonel US Army retired) and compare Doug’s presence, comportment and commentary with that offered by Milburn. Both men held the same rank, but I am certain you will come away with the conclusion that MacGregor is a true professional. Milburn? Lacking in good judgment at a minimum.
I suspect that Milburn is in hot water with his financial backers as a result of his Whiskey fueled chat with the boys at the Team House because he says some truthful but damaging things about Ukraine. Maybe Andy secretly does not want to set foot again in Ukraine and did this podcast to make it impossible for him to return. Here are a few of his colorful, politically incorrect observations:
Ukraine is a “corrupt, fucked-up society” run by “fucked-up people”
Ukrainian soldiers “kill dudes who surrendered,” commit “atrocities”
Earlier, Milburn, in an interview with Newsweek, said about the heavy losses of the Armed Forces and problems with the replenishment of troops. He noted that recruits are often sent to the front line without a proper level of training.
I asked one of my dear friends, a patriot who left the Marine Corps as a Major, to watch and comment. He sent me the following:
I couldn’t listen too long to the Sophomoric discourse. My hair hurt. Hard to believe Milburn is an O-6.
The real shocker for me comes at the 1:42:30 mark when he starts talking about “Cannabis” and other drugs. Active duty Marines would face a court-martial for the conduct he describes. I look forward to your comments.
I think they wanted to get him and they got him. Notice the studio setup as a den, the only things missing are a roaring fire and cigars. They got him comfortable and boozed up and just let him talk. Like your buddy, my hair started hurting 20 seconds into the clip. He’s already sloshed…
You missed it. One of the guys on the couch was smoking a cigar.
there’s another in an ashtray. lower right corner, iirc. -a.v.
It was a cigar, but I think it may have been a “roll your own” laced with some type of mind altering substance that suppresses critical thinking given the sycophantic utterances of the smoker.
Milburn, in the Australian vernacular is a fucking wanker.
What a lightweight. Then again to be fair to him he’s probably seen and done a lot of fucked up shit.
Not the brightest bulb on the Xmas tree. He seems to have enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame– then realized that his side was losing — and fame was going to be infamy–so trying now to get on the right side of things. “Me, I’m no Nazi”. Fact is that the Endgame is already in the works.
https://julianmacfarlane.substack.com/p/ukraine-endgame
As I said a column or back, I paid attention to this individual when the Russians entered Ukraine, Feb 2022 I think. I found him very naive but he did have some rank credentials as a US Marine Corp Officer – with an accent though, I thought, “he can’t be that stupid, can he?” It turns out he is.
I saw this guy in that retracted documentary about 30% of US weaponry getting to the front lines. To me, he looked pretty stupid off the bat.
Col. MacGregor is a class act! Milburn is a pantywaste and a stain on USMC history. Maybe Milburn has a history of running his mouth off and that finally irked his CO.
A stupid senior officer? I’m sure that this will shock all sergeants out there.
It’s usually the stupid junior officers NCOs have to handle/clean up after.
This is usually resolved by uttering the phrase, “You take point, L-T.”
ehat a real buffon , and former MARSOC too .. heck the father of SEAL team SIX rick marcinko is fare more professional and knowledgable compared to this POS.. embarassing
Annexation
With this chapter I want to lay another groundwork for the “strategic planning” chapter. So, let’s discuss the annexations.
I don’t want to discuss the process of the annexation itself, but only its implications. Nevertheless, I want to point out that the following regions were annexed in September 2022:
Lugansk (Donbass)
Donetsk (Donbass)
Zaporizhzhia
Kherson
Well… 😊
In fact, this decision sealed the fate of Ukraine, the war and the world. What do I mean?
Well… Russia has a passage in its constitution, that requires Russia to defend, and in case of enemy occupation, to recapture every inch of its territory. Now we have three Russian federal subjects, that are occupied by a foreign power. Hence, President Putin is obliged by the constitution, to do whatever is in Russia’s power, to recapture these territories.
Here the problems begin. Russia has almost unlimited power. With nuclear weapons. This is the next problem. The Russian nuclear doctrine foresees the usage of nuclear weapons if it loses militarily on its territory or if the statehood is in danger.
First, Russia would need to try to recapture these territories conventionally. For this task it can mobilize 25 million troops. If these troops all fail, or earlier, if the military command sees no other chance, to fulfill its constitutional obligation, a nuclear attack would be mandatorily carried out, to eventually win the war.
I want to sum it up.
Russia’s territories are occupied.
The constitution requires President Putin to recapture every inch.
If he can’t win conventionally, then Russian military doctrine applies, which says, if the Russian statehood is in danger or a military defeat in inevitable, then nuclear weapons must be used.
President Putin said in an interview, a few years ago, what do we need a world for, if Russia is no longer part of it?
If Russia can’t recapture these territories, we all are going to die.
This sequence is inevitable. Everyone who cheers, that Russia don’t recapture these territories or loses the war, in the same time cheers for die by a nuclear strike. Yes, Russia will vanish, but the rest of the world with her.
This is the small, little problem, that occurred due to these annexations for the West. This problem is unsolvable. The West knows this, the Western leaders don’t want to die, hence, the West is no longer fighting for a military victory. The West is instead, as pointed out several times, fighting to achieve a decisive strike, that would cause a collapse of Russia and President Putin. The rationale would be here, that there wouldn’t be any nuclear strikes during the process of collapse and dismembering.
Well, could be. But it is an insane dangerous and crazy game. The good news is, this will never happen anyways, since Russia is winning big time, and such considerations are only theoretically.

Very interesting, thanks for posting. Just a few minutes ago I read an article & the end of it prompted me to come here and check for Larry’s latest article.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/12/27/follow-up-qatar-data-point-and-twitter-release-8/#more-241415
At the very end:
“…The purpose of this designation was brutally obvious. The United States is putting Qatar back into the business of brokering arms sales from the U.S. government into Ukraine. Following the geopolitical intervention models previously used in Egypt, Libya and Syria by President Obama and Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Antony Blinken are now repeating the process toward Ukraine.
In many ways this should not be a surprise. Qatar is the financial hub and support network for the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar is also the arms broker for covert military operations when the U.S. does not want visible fingerprints.
By making this designation now, the Biden administration is setting up the groundwork for a long-term proxy war between the U.S/NATO and Russia in Ukraine. (March, 2022, read more)”
This is the March 2022 article from the link:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/03/11/history-rhyming-biden-administration-constructs-familiar-war-plan-using-qatar-as-long-term-mechanism-to-fund-protracted-war-in-ukraine/
Now I’m muttering to myself various “colorful adjectives”.
My take is somewhat different. The problem is that now this is in effect WWIII. For example, the US (CIA) reportedly has operatives inside Russia acting as saboteurs blowing up stuff with provided munitions. Moreover, Russia (and others) are on to the intention of the US to succeed where Napoleon and Hitler ventured and lost, and Russian leaders are saying this publicly.
Neither side can afford to lose. If Russia is defeated it is Balkanized. If the US gets defeated it is the end of the American Empire, the end of NATO, and the possible dissolution of the EU as a project to unite Europe. So it is a fight to the finish.
This is the case even if some “peace deal” is negotiated in Ukraine. The US elite has decided to finish Russia and China now and dismember them before they get stronger. In other words, they see the window closing on their ability to do this. The target is China and the strategy is to get Russia out of the way first, since taking on Russia and China simultaneously is likely already beyond the capability of the US and its allies.
So either way it goes nuclear. It’s going to be very difficult to avoid this scenario. I don’t see any change in either policy or leadership on either side that would alter this, especially since the US elite seems to be on the level of Andy Milburn rather than Doug Macgregor.
There are scenarios that could unfold differently, but the chance of that happening at this point in time seems low. Yet, both known and unknown unknowns are operative. The world system is a complex adaptive system in which emergence is a factor, so it is possible that the probability may increase as events unfold, either for better or for worse. It’s much too complicated to discuss in any detail in a comment.
At this juncture, I am pessimistic about an upside given what I see, which is admittedly very limited since we are all peering through thick fog of narrative control, propaganda, and psyops.
Forgive me but I stopped reading after you stated, “If Russia is defeated…”
Truthfully, if Russia is defeated, there will be a nuclear exchange. Discussing downstream effects becomes rather silly. There will be no downstream.
well laid out Tom.i would disagree with paragraph 2.the western sociopaths have over and over shown themselves to be feckless and shameless.western failure does not guarantee a nuclear response by them.they will saturate the media with tales of great victory so the sheeple believe we won,it has worked so far (libya, iraq, afgahnistan, viet nam).they are deep down, cowards and will not risk their own lives.
Hi Tom,
Please pardon the personal intrusion, but you aren’t from GP are you? If you are, we knew each other a long time back (I’m using a nom d’internet).
If Russia can’t recapture these territories, we all are going to die.
Sir, you have read the tea leaves accurately.
Natoistan, please provide a link to Putin’s speeches you referred to as “President Putin said in an interview, a few years ago, what do we need a world for, if Russia is no longer part of it?”. I’m fluent in Russian and it shocks me every time the cynical misinterpretations, distortions, and blatant lies by the West, when comes to what “Putin said.” If in doubt, always check Kremin’s website, they give the closest translation. Putin’s language is often allegorical, he uses a lot of historical examples, wordplays, and folklore, which is totally understood by the Russians but not foreigners.
I have NEVER heard Putin threatening nuclear weapons, all his talk about weapons, including nuclear is always defensive – like “if you do so and so, we’d retaliate.
What he said last time about the USA threatening a pre-emptive nuclear strike was that 2 can play this game, don’t make us change our doctrine, we might reconsider our stance if you’d be pushing the pre-emotive nuclear strike ideas around.
Think for what the USA is publically saying – even the decapitation of Russia, regime change in Russia, and what’s not – take it from me – Russia’s and Putin’s responses are classy and restrained, while the USA delivers a kindergarten bully/roaring hegemon speeches and often blatant lies.
Knowing both languages it’s surreal – it’s like a demonic broken phone – Russia says one thing and completely different/absurd interpreted/lied by Brandon & Politburo to Americans.
This was said in 2018 during an interview for an upcoming documentary. I recall it making news then. Putin was trying to convey the message that if people didn’t think Russia would use its nuclear deterrent in response to an attack threatening the existence of the State, then they need to think again because: “Certainly, it would be a global disaster for humanity; a disaster for the entire world.” “as a citizen of Russia and the head of the Russian state I must ask myself: Why would we want a world without Russia?”
I found this quote from RT, which is usually reasonably accurate in its translations.
Thanks, Victor, I looked up RT, and there is a lot of context to what Putin discussed and his response is direct to the NATO encirclement of Russia, the link below, and in the same RT article, you cited there is elaboration by Putin.
https://www.rt.com/news/420358-400-missiles-us-encircle-russia/
“A decision on the use of nuclear weapons may only be taken if our ballistic missile attack warning system not only detects a launch but also predicts that the warheads would hit Russian territory. This is called a retaliation strike,” he said in the interview. Russia’s latest edition of its nuclear doctrine allows the use of nuclear weapons in response to a nuclear attack against Russia or its allies, or to a conventional attack that threatens the existence of Russia.
Putin also denied Russia was interested in pursuing a nuclear arms race, saying that “to begin with, we did not start this… nuclear bomb was first developed not by us but by the US,” he said in the interview, pointing out that “we have never used nuclear weapons [although] the US used them against Japan.”
The classic example of this is the still widely spread misinterpretation, either wilful or not, of Putin’s statement made in April 2005, namely that he then said that: “The breakup of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical tragedy of the 20th century”.
He did not say that.
The official Kremlin interpretation of what he said in Russian is:
“Above all, we should acknowledge that the collapse of the Soviet Union was a major geopolitical disaster of the century”.
https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2014/mar/06/john-bolton/did-vladimir-putin-call-breakup-ussr-greatest-geop/
I’m the author.
Here is the quote.
https://www.rt.com/news/420715-putin-world-russia-nuclear/
At 1:47 “If someone made a decision to destroy Russia, we have a legal right to respond in kind. Yes, it will be a global catastrophe for mankind, but as the Head of Russia, I have the right to ask why would we want the world without Russia.”
And his to “respond in kind” was specific – when not only the enemy’s nuclear launch was detected but also its trajectory calculated with certainty and that the nuke would hit Russia determinate.
The point is, Russia won’t take its destruction lightly, just like anybody who has the means to retaliate. The problem is that Americans really can’t get over the engrained exceptionalism and grasp that other people love their own country too.
Who would take your country’s destruction lightly? Given what’s being said from the highest podium here calling to erase and harm everything Russia or calling to “remove this man” or for a “decapitation strike”? WTH? Who does such things? Who says such things from the highest podium in the land?

Retribution at their doorsteps.
Putin is a paragon of a new type of leader, reminding me on Nietzsche’s “Cesar with the soul of Christ”.

” The West knows this, the Western leaders don’t want to die, hence, the West is no longer fighting for a military victory. The West is instead, as pointed out several times, fighting to achieve a decisive strike, that would cause a collapse of Russia and President Putin.”
The lacunae in the above are predicated on usage of a definite article “the” instead of an indefinite article “some”, in respect of “The West” and “Western leaders” thereby intimating a homogeneity in “The West” and “The Western leaders'” hopes/purposes/understandings.
This also conditions attempted foci and modes of implementation of hoped for “decisive strike” which includes, but is not limited to, “The Balkans”.
Some others also understand this.
This understanding has been achieved much earlier than that of some “Western leaders”, although some in “The West” believe the opposite in hope of obfuscating causation and recent processes of/within The Russian Federation from June 2020 onwards, including the scheduling/sequencing of practices in facilitation of acceptance of the contents of the present Constitution of The Russian Federation, and the notices of intent of December 2021 which “The United States of America which of which NATO is a state” chose to interpret as ultimata.
“The United States of America” from conception has been predicated on varying mixtures of “bullshit and ball grabbing”.
“The United States of America” is a network of coercive social relations whose purpose is the sustainability of these coercive social relations predicated on the deaths of others through various vectors, whilst The Russian Federation is part of a cooperative network to transcend “The United States of America” with the complicity of “The United States of America”, via many vectors not available to “The United States of America” as a function of the purpose of “The United States of America”.
All humans “die” and some assimilate this knowledge by further exloring the validity of various reasons for dying and acting upon this understanding.
Some do not act but wallow in discontent and resort to various comfort blankets which throughout history have facilitated practices of divide and rule.
Now is not “the winter of our discontent” but the time of faites vos jeux – place your bets.
I don’t share your pessimism and this ‘Russia’s gonna use nukes’ story is nowt but a feeble strawman cooked up by the west to fuel hysteria, or more frighteningly it is projection.
Russia will do as Russia does; ever since Bozo the clown went to Kiev in March and told ‘Elenskyy and his negotiators “don’t you dare agree terms with Russia”, there is no question that since 404 would not be allowed to demilitarize voluntarily, the Ukrop army would be beaten to a pulp. Once the losses become undeniably catastrophic the ‘defenders of democracy’ will either collapse, mutiny, surrender en-mass or simply be destroyed; and that is truly sad for Ukraine because it is the flower of their manhood being sent to the meatgrinder to delay the inevitable victory of the Russian army. More’s the sadness that the vulgar nationalists from Lvov and Volyn are not among those being being ground up, but instead sit in the rear as blocking forces to ‘motivate’ their countrymen, many of whom are regarded as undermenschen anyway. Viktor Orban noted as much in a recent speech, objecting that ethnic Hungarians are being rounded up in Transcarpathia to be sent to die in Donbass who have no animous toward their ethnic Russian neighbours. Presumbly once the collpase is undeiable to even the most fanatical, the nationalists will pull on their civvies and ‘migrate’ west so in that respect the Russian objective of denazification while probably achievable within Novorussia and the remaining rump of Ukraine, will ultimately fail because the cancer will be exported and take root in Poland or Germany, especially once those countries go broke and a flock of cold and hungry sheep have nothing to lose in being seduced by the insistance that their troubles are due to some other group (like it was back in the 1930s).
The cracks in the EU are beginning to widen. While French political hangers-on may relish the prospect of becoming nominally the biggest economy in the EU once German industry collapses, they will certainly not be happy once they start receiving all the EU’s bills to pay when Germany is no longer able to. And the French are among the world’s best protestors, think Gillets Jaunes with even less to lose. Moreover the unrepresented inhabitants of the peninsula (it is pompous to regard Europe as a ‘continent’ in my humble opinion) are already turning out in the streets as they watch their standards of living plumet while out of touch political sock-puppets send ever more other people’s money to 404. Moreover, few real people in Europe are still labouring under the misapprehension that Ukraine is a ‘defender of democracy’, indeed their own fake news was busy telling everyone how corrupt and infected with NaSDAP ideology the place is until as recently as a couple of years ago. And it is not just unrepresentative political stupidity on 404 that fuels dissent, note the Dutch farmers are gathering again in protest over ‘green’ policies banning the use of nitrate fertilizers and how often does a save-the-planet unreliable energy scam go ahead without protest from people starting to resent being screwed and asked to pay for boondoggles that offer them no benefit at all? And despite the politically correct fake news that insisted migrants from the middle east were welcome, there are plenty of people who haven’t forgotten the uncontrolled influx of 2015 and that it was their political sock-puppets who encouraged it and then handed the welfare bill and the crime over to their constituents. In the very near future, probably once next winter bites and Russian energy has been properly cut off, there will no longer be even a policital illusion of unity on the peninsula and if a large sector of the unrepresented inhabitants haven’t taken up pitchforks by then, it will only be because national leaders have suddenly donned populist pyjamas and begun promising to leave the EU in order to cling to power at least at home. The final nail in that political coffin will be if the police and armies turn on their political owners which started to happen among police in Spain and Italy who joined potestors demanding an end to lock downs and vaccine mandates over the much hyped Chinese chest cold.
So the Davos Ski Club may have acheived one of their ambitions, namely to turn the peninsula into a modern Weimar Republic full of dependants. It remains to be seen whether Euros can dig deep, rediscover their testicles and do anything about it, or whether they’ve been so thoroughly pussified that they roll and meekly take their great reset up the fundamental orifice.
The USA? Well sorry to say but from an outside perspective, I see the division in your Union to have become irreparable. Whether you suffer a kinetic civil war this decade (and I for one truly hope you avoid such a conflagration), or whether the union is undermined by succession fever remains to be seen, but either way the Davos Ski Club will get their wish to see the USA balkanized within this decade. That then raises the only credible worry about some lunatic sending instant sunshine flying; who will have control over the US nuclear arsenal and who might they use it on out of desperation? Could a US civil war turn really hot? could a nuclear threshold be crossed overseas in order to create a credible external threat in the hope that fear creates a temporary national unity to calm the dissenting masses at home? Perhaps if ‘they’ really are stupid enough to cook up this coalition of the moronic and send a light infantry expedition into 404 which gets chewed up and spat out by the Russian army and aerospace forces, then ‘they’ might go for a retaliatory tactical nuclear strike. Surely ‘they’ would know that Russian nuclear doctrine in turn demands a total response? Perhaps ‘they’ are so high on their own ‘exceptionalism’ supply that ‘they’ imagine Russia would be too scared to use the world’s largest nuclear arsenal in reposnse? The reality is that is the only credible scenario in which instant sunshine starts flying, western desperation to cling to power, not Russian desperation or impatience in 404.
In any case neither the US in debt nor the EU/UK in receivership will be doing much to support 404 by next year and their eventual collapse, plus by association NATO are by now inevitable. I don’t expect this within a year, but within the next decade the transition from a western to an eastern centric world will be a fait accompli. Provided some half-wit in Washington hasn’t conveinced themselves that it is possible to ‘win’ a nuclear war and tries it on. Russia is not desperate and contrary to fake news insistance is in no apparent hurry; Russia need only continue methodically beating the Ukrop army and any western mercenaries dumb enough to join the safari into a bloody pulp whenever and where ever they are sent to hold the line or counter-attack and meanwhile watch NATO demilitarize itself, the EU self-immoleate and the US self-balkanize, with no need whatsoever to reach for their own instant sunshine.
“I don’t share your pessimism and this ‘Russia’s gonna use nukes’ story is nowt but a feeble strawman cooked up by the west to fuel hysteria, or more frighteningly it is projection.”
It is not obvious to whose “pessimism” you refer.

outline and are wholly based upon the nuclear doctrine and other laws/notices of intent of The Russian Federation from 2nd June 2020 to date which outline events, their conditions and consequences derived there upon, of which “The United States of America” are fully aware, and in panic “The United States of America” sought to misrepresent as unconditional and hence constant in projection of their own nuclear doctrine given that ” “The United States of America” from conception has been predicated on varying mixtures of “bullshit and ball grabbing”, and in times of panic attempt to resort to these practices.
“Russia will do as Russia does”
No.
The Russian Federation and its associates will do what they deem appropriate within constraints outlined above unless it is deemed necessary to adjust nuclear doctrine and other laws, as Mr. Putin advised on 22/12/22 whilst “The United States of America” delivered an ultimatum in regard to Kosovo to Serbia.
Hence:
“Now is not “the winter of our discontent” but the time of faites vos jeux – place your bets. “
Without Russia, all the Slavs would have already shared the faith of Native Americans. Being Slavic myself, I fully support the “we don’t need a world, if Russia is no longer part of it” attitude.
” “we don’t need a world, if Russia is no longer part of it” attitude.”
This “attitude” is not restricted to Slavs as some in “The United States of America” including reportedly that kind Jewish lady who distributed plain bulkas without salt on Independence Square in Kiev in February 2014 start to perceive as a possibility.
He seems entirely reasonable about the drugs he is speaking of – even to the point of saying how bad alcohol is and how many illegal and once illegal drugs are used for beneficial therapy today. I did not listen to the end. Drunk guys are only so interesting. Maybe I missed some evil deeds.
Did the comment about hippies in hawaiian shirts (1:43:12) bother you?
No. He is still an officer in the USMC (albeit retired) but he is endorsing conduct that would get a Marine recruit a court-martial. I believe in leading by example. Marijuana use in the Corps is a punishable offense.
Thank you.
I think leading us away from the Drug War is commendable and people in positions of authority should be doing their best to end it. Not too many supporters of alcohol prohibition and those wars anymore.
There’s a flip side to that. A people that’s doped up and playing video games on the couch will have no energy for revolution. Almost like this is what the people in positions of authority want.
We can end the Drug War without promoting brain dead stoner culture.
In either case illicit substance use cannot be tolerated in the armed forces. Period.
The US Gov’t just makes them licit as needed. See “go pills” and “no-go pills”
Denying the therapeutic and other uses for many once-legal-now-illegal drugs has been a 100-year unforced error by the US establishment – of which the US military is a cornerstone.
It’s not the business of the military or government to tell us citizens what we can have as a culture.
I listened to it too – not all but it seemed fine to me. But he’s supposed to be a robot. And say only the things ‘they’ want him to say. I also think its pretty hypocritical to punish a soldier for pot and protect Afghanistan fields. Same military
Looks like the fellas are drinking Laphroaig Scotch Whisky and excellent drink! Larry is right if it against the rules for the rank and file to smoke weed then officers should not smoke it no matter what their personal thoughts about it are.
That guy is retired and I am pretty sure he has all of the rights that most American citizens have and in at 1/3 of America that is the right to smoke (or eat a gummy full of) some weed.
Larry’s point is that guy should still, in retirement, be leading by example.
That guy is already a foreign mercenary and is not a good example for any US soldier.
haha – yeah. But not to be rude to Larry – who I respect and read every day- and that I appreciate so much – I wish the Serbian interview had been only Larry – would have been so interesting – and I agree that being a mercenary is no example for veterans.
Retired military is a continuing status; he remains on the rolls of the USMC (actually the USN), remains subject to active duty, and receives a pension for that continuing status.
Precisely. It matters not what the civilian court or civilians of the U.S. think about weed. Using weed in the military will get you discharged fast. During my time in the Air Force, the guys busted for weed were made to march around the base when going to their meals, etc. all while wearing a vest which we clearly knew meant they were in trouble. When you saw a Staff Sgt. marching while wearing that vest, you knew the USAF was damn serious about the drug policy. These guys were marched around and treated just like a fresh recruit. Eventually every one of them was discharged. I do not know of any person busted for drugs that the USAF did not kick out.
“It matters not what the civilian court or civilians of the U.S. think about weed.”
It’s the only thing that matters. We don’t live in a police state or are being run by a military junta.
Being a retired Marine O6, doesn’t make one immune from the effects of alcohol and saying stuff he shouldn’t. Although you’d think he’d have more self control and limit his intake being on video. But maybe he doesn’t give a shit any more, after what he’s seen, like PTSD. He also sounds like he’s from Britian.
Yes, born in the UK. Came to the US as a teenager with his family. Enlisted in the Marine Corps.
Mozart did not deserve to be so disregarded by a druken brit. Wagner 70 – Mozart 0!
or an alckie – must be – to get sloshed on stage – and also – if he was already drunk at the beginning of the interview – his intake capacity might be really compromised….by too much for too long
Did you catch the part at 23:30 about the US putting stipulations on not using US supplied weapons on the RU homeland? The comment at 29:20 is just like SST. Minute 35, how can those Russian grandmas believe that propaganda about trannies. (Guess that guy never heard the term “ok groomer” or the news about FL’s “Don’t say Gay” (I know) law.) The wholesale dismissal of Christianity around the 40 minute mark is another great one.
You need to take your ex-Marine buddy to lunch for watching the whole thing. I can’t believe the sophomorishness of this trio either, though I knew some guys just as ill educated as the pizza chow hound and his couch potato sidekick when I was on active duty. Making O-6 was probably just a matter of time in grade, especially in the GWOT.
My own dear father was USMC Col. (Ret) in better days and I can only be thankful for small favors that he’s not around to see the clusterfuck the country’s unleashed on itself and the world at large. He reminds me a lot of Doug MacGregor.
I still remember a dream I had long ago, where I was hiking over a glacier peering down through crystal clear ice, where I saw the medals and awards in military and civilian life he’d been handed over the years, unreachable and frozen in eternity. May he RIP.
To this day, I can’t understand how he was able to put up with me 😉
Those old Marine officers were special. I had one as a mentor.
I agree . And I did too. I lived with a Marine Colonel and his family as a senior in high school. My parent’s business required us to live half yr. in Florida and the other half in Rhode Island. They offered to put me up so I didn’t have to break up my final year. They had two sons near my age and I learned from that time with them what it means to have respect for your children, to speak with them respectfully. The boys were never yelled at and were always listened to. Their last name was Demosthenes. And though the Colonel was not a great speaker as such, he was concise and clear with a wonderful sense of humor.
In one of our many dinner time conversations he said he thought China would eventually become the great power in the world. This he said in 1959.
My dad, who’s now in his late 90’s, saw a lot of war including receiving two Purple Hearts (separate war injuries wounds from bullets and grenades). He was with the 77th Division in the Battle of Okinawa (where both Ernie Pyle and U.S. Army General Simon Bolivar Buckner were killed).
He came back from the war, went to school (Columbia U.), got married and raised a large family, and never really talked about it.
My dad is utterly disgusted with the kind of men who are generals and colonels in today’s U.S. military and always talks about how great the ones he served under were. I played the hour-long Tucker Carlson Today interview of Col. Douglas Macgregor for my dad and was so impressed by him and said that Macgregor was the kind of military officers this country once had when he served.
Btw, I would never play that Milburn interview for my dad. Especially with the dismissal of Christianity part. My dad, like most of his WWII buddies, are religious Christian men who serve(d) God, country, and family*.
The phrase “useful idiot” comes to mind. Unfortunately, in this day and age and with the propaganda machinery employing tens of thousands of highly paid “journalists” with all sorts of “political/security analyst” credentials – it is easy for people to fall pray to narratives, to the point where they put their behinds on the line, go to war zones etc. – without knowing what is actually happening and why they are there. Yes, this can apparently include people (like UMSC colonels) who should know better.
What can cups not do? Months of West PR and UKR propaganda gone to hell! The bourbon took their mask off! After all Ukrop is all we knew. Corrupt, no rules, without any human or democratic value. A country that sold its soul to devil and only moves out by insane hatred in this war! After Col Milburn with two glasses of bourbon, it will take an entire team in DC to polish it up again the Ukrainian Democracy. And I don’t know if there is so much effort in the world that can hide so much corruption and war crimes! After Ursula’s 100,000 kias, nothing was missing…
I submit that the fact that the US ruling class is seriously contemplating both a “limited” use of “tactical” nukes and “decapitating strikes” is a very good indicator of the fact that the US is running out of Wunderwaffen and that the Neocons are desperate.
And to those who might be tempted to accuse me of hyperbole or paranoid delusions I will say the following:
This war is NOT, repeat, NOT about the Ukraine (or Poland or the three Baltic statelets). At its absolute minimum this is a war about the future of Europe. Fundamentally it is a war about the complete reorganization of our planet’s international order. I would even argue that the outcome of this war will have a bigger impact that either WWI or WWII
Right now, the crazies are playing around with all sorts of silly ideas, including booting Russia off the UNSC (not gonna happen, since both Russia and China have veto power) or even creating a “peace conference” about the Ukraine without Russia’s participation (in a remake of the “friends of Syria” and “friends of Venezuela” thingie). Well, good luck with that! Apparently Guaido and Tikhanovskaia are not enough to discourage the Neocons and they are now repeating the exact same nonsense with “Ze”.
So, will we make it to December 31, 2023?
Maybe, but this is by no means sure. Clearly, this is not an assumption the Kremlin makes, hence the truly immense strengthening of all of Russia’s strategic deterrence capabilities (both nuclear and conventional).
God willing, the old adage “si vis pacem, para bellum” will save the day, as Russia is very clearly prepared for any time of conflict, including a nuclear one. China will also get there soon, but it is likely that 2023 will see some kind of end to the Ukrainian war: either a Russian victory in the Ukraine or a full-scale continental war which Russia will also win, (albeit at a much higher cost!). So by the time the Chinese will be truly ready (they probably need another 2-5 years) the world will be a very different place.
For all these reasons I submit that 2023 might well be one of the most important years in human history. How many of us will actually survive it is an open question.

It would have been so simple ten years ago, to finally and honestly for Russia and the EU to hammer out an inclusive ‘European security architecture.’, as Russia’d been lobbying for since 2020. But the US would have none of it and the EU had no spine to sit upright in a chair at the conference table without a nod from Washington.
So here we are. Nowhere near and nowhere far, just further on the deadend road to armaggeddon.
When Warren Zimmerman waltzed into Izetbegovic’s office in 1992 and coached him that if he’d not been fully satisfied, to withdraw his signature from the EU’s hard won Lisbon Agreement cantonizing Bosnia-Herzegovina, with its potential to have stopped the Balkan wars in their tracks, the EU should have known then in no uncertain terms they’d hitched their wagon in perpetuity to Washington’s war horse.
The Dayton Accords three blood-soaked years later, accomplishing essentially the same outcome, should have been a final wakeup call for the EU, but of course – it wasn’t.
I expect nothing more enlightened from the EU in this round.
It could be seen as the third chapter in the WW, so yes, the effects, as it were, are cumulative.
“I submit that the fact that the US ruling class is seriously contemplating both a “limited” use of “tactical” nukes and “decapitating strikes” is a very good indicator of the fact that the US is running out of Wunderwaffen and that the Neocons are desperate.”
As outlined in MirrorGazers says

Your submission above is based upon the use of the definite article “the” instead of “some” thereby intimating a homogeneity of resolve which analysis suggests does not exist.
Your speculation that ” that the US is running out of Wunderwaffen” is predicated on the belief that they had “Wunderwaffen” to run out of, but usefully infers that ideologically they remain dependent on notions of “magic bullets”.
Your observation that “the Neocons are desperate.” obfuscates some of the reasons why “the Neocons are desperate” and obfuscates some vectors through which such desperation can be encouraged.
In February 2014 the following approximate interchange took place on Independence Square (the official name which some refer to as Maidan) in Kiev between a customer services operative with a Ternopil accent, and a middle aged lady with a Kievan accent, whilst a Jewish lady was distributing beneficiences but forgetting the salt.
Middle aged lady: The Zh*ds are back trying to welcome us as guests in our own homes.
Customer services operative: Don’t worry once they have served their purposes it will be like before.
As the children’s rhyme advises :
“Never smile at a crocodile”
but some children didn’t learn their lessons because they believed they didn’t need to since they were/are exceptional.
Interesting observation, it reminded me of St John the Apostle’s book of Apocalypse which says in Chapter 2:
2:9. I know thy tribulation and thy poverty: but thou art rich. And thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
2:10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death: and I will give thee the crown of life.
“Interesting observation”
Yes it was observed, listened to, reported and logged in 2014 whilst the plain bulka had become hard – no cheese and raisins -, but not believed in illustration of tell the truth; few will believe you as expected.
A likely lateral trajectory was the recent visit of “local nationalists” to Tel Aviv to meet Mr. Netayahu, likely in hope that tribulations are limited to 10 days or under since problems in France can increase immigration, whilst problems in Ukraine may not.
I tend to think he wants the hell out of Ukraine and the upcoming Nuremberg type trials over the actions of the UAF/Azov and their military leaders. This liquored fueled fire side chat (sans the fire place) was a tool to do that exit with, or so it would seem. Surely he is not so foolish to have said what he did with out knowing the consequences.
Once the atrocities are revealed to the world, the U.S. will prosecute those who fought there and he wants to “clear” himself of the actions of his group. When these trials begin I expect he will claimed to have informed his superiors of the war crimes.
“Once the atrocities are revealed to the world, the U.S. will prosecute those who fought there and he wants to “clear” himself of the actions of his group”
Ya think?
The Russians collected all the incidents post 2014 and published them in a series of ‘white papers’. They used to be available on the internet. Don’t know if they still are. I never read them all, as I wanted to maintain some semblance of sanity but they’re there and everyone in government has known it for years.
👍
His background is typical of a career covert CIA officer. There are hundreds in the US military.
A close link between the CIA & military… especially in Vietnam… perhaps they bump into each other… on the shady side of things.

No one in their right mind would fund “Mozart” over “Wagner” in a theater of war.
Talismans are chosen to represent spirit and energy.
Mozart, an 18th century classicists, is known for elegant, delicate, and “sweet” melodies.
His work has an innocent childlike character. One prof described his music as smiling through tears.
He writes to entertain elite circles of society,
Wagner was a 19th century theatrical innovator. His music is powerful, multidimensional,
often martial, with epic themes. He writes of gods and heroes and “Ragnarök, which in Norse mythology refers to a prophesied war among various beings and gods that ultimately results in the burning, immersion in water, and renewal of the world.” In one word, STRONG.
Listen for yourselves to a couple of minutes of these samples and compare the geist:

These days, recruiting for Ukraine must be a real b**ch.
You’re completely right. Apart from being on the wrong side of history the Western elites have no culture. They know shit about music 😂
I’d say that Mozart is perfect for droning people from your air conditioned office on MacDill AFB.
You are thinking too much of it. I’ve read somewhere that Wagner was the call sign of one of the founders of the company. The American guy, making a competing team, probably chose Mozart because it’s the only composer he could think of.
That being said, PMC Wagner is using its music related name for PR. They call themselves musicians, and even have songs and music videos (with occasional references to their namesake).

There’s a battle of narratives going on. The same way the Iranian lawnmower drones won the sky battle, so is the musical’s one being won by Wagner.
He’s a marine. Just be thankful he didn’t eat some crayons and draw a picture of a dick on the wall.
Exactly. Marines are trained to kill, not to think. A marine that thinks too much ends up getting sacked, resigning by himself, or publicly insulted by Joe Biden.

(this video is a must watch for anyone knowing who Scott Ritter is)
It just proves that Biden always was an idiot. Ugh.
He was not an idiot back in the day, but pure evil. He knew very vell what he was saying. Only in recent years has his brain deteriorate to infant level.

It seemed to me that he was shaken by what he had seen in Ukraine. He probably wanted to talk about it but could control of this urge when sober. I can not think badly about a guy for not being a cynic and for having some decency somewhere at the core of his being.
There are so many highly skilled professionals that would never harm themselves like this because they do not have any urge to speak truth inside them. It is just not there, only a hunger to profit and to get ahead. Most people in middle management upwards are like that. And they disgust me. Milburn did not.
You could be sittin on your ass the last 30 days waiting for your separation, no PT, no duty, no anything. Bored out of your mind. But if you piss dirty then the previous 4 years mean nothing. That’s the rules.

My comments my be premature but after watching an hour of the discussion with Milburn he seems liken an OK guy. I don’t agree with him but he does not come across like he is bought off. Like others have mentioned he seems caught up in the tactical side of the war ignoring the operational losses that the Ukraine is enduring. His issue is that he has the typical ingrained British hatred for Russia and is not willing or able to consider their point of view.
The Ukrainians are hapless victims of Russian aggression stretching back centuries. Never mind that they shelled their own people for eight years. I think that he greatly underestimates the Russian military. Will he and the Neocons be willing to accept defeat? Him maybe but the Neocons are a big X factor.
I worked at State Counter Terrorism for a retired Marine Colonel. Milburn seems like a decent sort but he couldn’t hold my Colonel’s shoes. Really sad.
I’d really like to hear your take on China Larry – I watch all the covid doctors and Lee Merritt is US military – and a doctor – and her attitude towards China makes me really wonder about the US military and their education programs for recruits.
He has little to no command presence. He’s odd
The Ukrainians are hapless victims of Russian aggression stretching back centuries.
You don’t say. When Hetman Khmelnytsky appealed to Russia to accept its allegiance as protection from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, that sort of fell off your trip down memory lane I guess.
If you’re going to simplify Ukraine’s history as a set of coloring books, I suggest you join Zelensky’s entourage.
To see the love fellow Slavs have, in this caser Russians and Ukrainians, watch Ep 13 of the Burt Lancaster narrated, The Unknown War. It is on You Tube. The three year abominable occupation of Ukraine by Nazi Germany and the subsequent re-conquest by the Russians is an epic to behold.
I meant that as a sarcastic comment. Probably should have left it out. This whole mess was started by US Neocons. Some of the most evil people who have ever walked the face of the earth.
If you ask Borrell, he’ll probably tell you that the neocons are the tenders of the garden.
Me, I’m thinking of that vacation time spent long ago in the Puerta Vallarta jungle and thinking, hmmm – wonder what property’s available these days?
Didn’t Ukraine apply for admission in 1920 to the League of Nations, the predecessor of U.N., and was refused? And didn’t Ukraine apply to mainly seeking protection of the League of Nations from Polish atrocities?
I suspect this guy simply does not give a shit anymore…. probably PTSD right out
of her….a pointy head getting blasted all day by Russian artillery and seeing his students blown up is getting to him? Maybe the organ harvesting of wounded soldiers for a profit is not sitting well? The writing is on the wall and Bahkmut is going to be the graveyard of NATO and he is rattled? This is an existential fight for Russia but I believe the economic interests that formulate Western strategy are just Globalist parasites that know they are killing their host and will just move on when needed. They are using Russia…. compelling Russia to initiate actions supporting long layed globalist plans. Plan A or B or C all arriving at the same conclusion….
Russians can find a common language with the American people, but never with the Ukrainian Nazis and globalists. Ukrainian Nazism is not real. This is an imitation of German Nazism, Hitler, the SS, this is symbolism, profanity, performance. It’s all for the evil of the Russians. It’s envy. This is for the sake of justifying the betrayal of their Faith – Orthodox Christianity. History repeats itself as a farce.
That’s all they can do: imitate.
A few days ago there was a western media blitz about how Ukrainians are ditching Christmas on 7 Jan in favor of 25 Dec. Even though only 10% of the country is Latin Christian.
Artificial and rootless, just like the EU they so desperately want to be a part of.
Gera, I respectfully disagree. When the Ukrainian diaspora claims that “there are no Neo-Nazis in Ukraine” they are completely correct. These are not “Neo”-anything, they are the real thing, with their beliefs handed down from father-to-son from the likes of Bandera and Shukeyevich. The only part of Europe that lost the war was Germany; the Nazis survived.
I’m not arguing. You are absolutely right.
You see, I don’t speak English, I have to use a translator. I’m not sure that my words are translated without the distortion of the wash. I often want to intervene in the discussion, but I refrain for two reasons: I will not be able to write in detail what I think; I am not sure that readers are interested in it.
On this issue: I wanted to say that the Ukrainian Nazis adopted the symbols of Nazi Germany in order to spit into the soul of the Russians. At least that’s how I understand it, that’s how I feel.
Surprisingly, our grandfathers and fathers who survived in the 2nd century did not inherit hatred of the Germans. We have treated the Germans well until today. Any Russian will tell you that. Today, distrust of Germans is already forming in society. It turns out that they have preserved hatred for Russians for generations.
I agree with your point about Germany today. It is sad that they have this hatred. As an outsider (Canadian/Brit) I believe this hatred is that of a group overly dependent upon others — ie Germany would never have the economic success it had without Russian gas and oil. They know it and hate themselves for it. That hate is projected onto Russia. Its like the weaker younger brother who envies/hates the older strong athletic brother. Classic behaviour but very sad. Merkel’s twice egoic attempt to shame Putin with the “Minsk agreement was only to buy Ukraine time” is a perfect example.
Gera, my brother fought for Ukraine in 2014-2016 and when I once brought up the prevailing western opinion that Germany raised 2 generations that carry the guilt for WWII, he replied, ” I saw their eyes, it’s not the guilt in them but regret that Germany lost the war.” I thought he was crazy and unjust, but
judging by the recent events, seems like he was right and I was gobbling on “common perceptions,” which clearly were carefully curated
Spot on about Douglas Macgregor. Consummate straight talking professional soldier. Like yourself Larry, and Scott Ritter, he cuts through the bullshit of this geopolitical shit fight, his military analysis and military opinions are well worth taking on board.
“Milburn? Lacking in good judgment at a minimum.” Spot on again, if a bit too kind.
Larry – does anybody you know vouch for this Brit as really having had the Marines career he claims ? As a 30 year British expat i watch this video and hear a cousin of David Icke 1.11.00 – 1.17.00 sounding like he has trained as an actor and has scripted talking points His school days rugby broken leg which still cant bend properly sounds like the truest thing he says about his past. He sounds like an Mi6 plant – mostly UK or Embassy based having failed (unlike real expats) to pick up any hint of American accent or vernacular when drinking with Americans. And the purpose of the video is to share the SAS take from 404 by undermining NATO officer morale and discourage any real US & British troops from taking a tour in meat grinder Ukraine Those Russian MoD autumn figures of 141 dead British & 200+ USA passport holders since start of SMO are likely accurate losses of NATO elite troops and officers
Good question. I spoke with one retired Marine General who said he met Andy after Andy left the Marine Corps. The part of his story that I question is his claim that he was going to be drafted for Vietnam and chose to join the Marine Corps. That means he would have to be 70 years old. Sure does not look like 70. Your bullshit detector seems to be working well.
If he does claim that he didn’t put it on his linkedin. On top of that there are two gaps in his listed employment record.
I thought you escaped the draft in those days by joining the National Guard, or visiting Canada on a one way ticket.
hmmm….little things like, just one example, he asks, “which way to the restroom?”. 31 years in the Corps you think the term for where to piss that he’d reflexively use would be “head” – “Which way to the head?”. His stoned, laidback demeanor and lack of Milspeak/Marine speak is odd. Nice enough guy, but not salty enough. I don’t think the cannabis and alcohol would erase that much ingrained USMC culture. Weird guy.
According to the bio linked to by Paulo Tolli below, he enlisted in the late ’80s, long after the Vietnam draft had ended.

Season’s Greetings to all, especially the heroic Russian soldiers and their allies on their liberating mission in the Donbass. I find the imagery attached with the articles in your website always very precise and appropriate. Human characteristics are generally universal so really judging by the portrait of the head of the Mozart hooligan grouping, sorry but he looks really like a bum by any standard including the American one. Maybe that’s why he’s in Ukraine in the first place helping the neonazi wannabes. If these are the guys making up NATO then wish them good luck.
Maybe a wannabe Eric Prince ? Visibly the guy is pissed off. In stead of a PMC Blackwater he got into some muddy water… with some f*cked up people…
The choice of Black Water as a name was always a mystery to me, as it’s where sewer rats live in real life.
Hi Larry,
Like most people, I couldn’t watch and I think they need to change their name. To associate a creative genius like W.A.Mozart with that crowd is a real travesty. Keep up the great work.
Andy Milburn like Malcolm Nance have both lost people close to them recently, I think this is suicide by Russian. Andy by his Twitter photo reminds me of the USMC father in American Beauty- a little repressed feelings and Patrocealn love. I, personnally smoked weed with Chesty Puller and Smedley D Butler they said it was the only way to get into the head of the MORO- remember the M1911- the Phillipines. I use the name Shahnameh(Book of Kings~) by Fedrowsi because the msg I FELT revealed in it is not how much or what status one achieves but how honorably you LIVED. AMAZON TWITTER WHOLE FOODS UNDERARMOR yeah I’m sure ol’ couldn’t hold USMC col shoes ANDY saw these entities protection as worthy of his troops lives. OH and by the way, I”d love to see some of the commenters here strap on twin 80s, weight belt and begin their BOBBIN 🙂
There has been much made about the Ukrainian Army being well trained and equipped to top NATO standards in the 8 years post 2014. Milburn doesn’t sound like a liar, many of his beliefs are/appear misplaced. However his description of Ukrainian troops as being negligibly trained and armed sounds very credible.
Joseph McDonald tells the same story and he comes across as very credible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCbD4WBqPg4
I know Trump sent Javelins to Ukraine in March 2018, 210 units/ $47m but I don’t believe a know of other significant quantities of equipment being sent.
Larry, any help on this, am I missing something obvious.
The Kiev units that Milburn sees are hastily mobilized Volksturm – the professional cadre is mostly gone.
Apparently Milburn already earned enough money training to kill and wants to get out of the roll and enjoy what he earned.
Larry, OUTSTANDING podcast with you, Gonzalo and Mr. Kursoulis (?) from CIA. Your anecdotes about groupthink and the intransigence of women who lie to hold a position consistent with those up top are consistent with a dozen of my situations in the commercial world. My position was also to get the fuck out before they attempted to ruin me. And that was just big city telecom, albeit decisions made against my advice that cost several companies millions and drove them out of business from the DC area. Notably for me Nortel Systems and their Waterloo at INTELSAT, big glass building on Connecticut Avenue, NW. 7000 lines, HUGE building, low-ball contract. Years to complete, millions lost. When the dust settled they didn’t have anything from me but my exit interview. Ya hate to be a gadfly, but there you have it. Groupthink kills.
But your stories at CIA and State are far more dramatic and far-reaching than my stuff. But everywhere they tried to stuff the ladies from the 80’s onward to make decisions about things they know nothing about without exception come out badly. Then, they lie. They lie where the truth will do. And then the scheming starts. And that’s when you, as you said, Get The Fuck Out.
Anyway, I watched it on Youtube fresh out of the box and listened to every single minute. Brilliant. I subscribe to all you’se guys, I find them immediately on release, I hope it comes out on this blog and especially on Martyanov’s because it needs to be out there and savored. Funny to see you so…animated. You’re a helluva a guy to have a beer with I bet, heh! Anyway, great job.
It’s bizarre but on the other hand, it’s revealing.
Here we have a supposed US retired military rank officer behaving like a kidult and juvenile. Undisciplined, drunk, he acts like he is in his own special movie.
Everything he says about the Kiev regime is accurate. But it’s hardly a revelation. We all knew this 8 years ago, but it all seems to have passed Millburn by.
I mean…what an idiot.
All this is not surprising. It confirms what many have been saying about the terrible state the US military itself in these days. They aren’t producing warriors who are smart, honorable or realistic. That’s how it seems.
After a few minutes of this, I’m confused. Is it an honor or shame to become Colonel in the US?? 🤔
If you think that you are confused, than you should move up to generals & admirals. I recommend starting with the four-star admiral Rachel Levine.
You’ll love the book by Cmdr. Jeff Huber, Bathtub Admirals. Unfortunately Cmdr. Huber passed away many years ago. Larry might have known him, a very decent and intelligent man.
An adult man that doesn’t eat the crusts in his pizza?!! WTF is wrong with these personalities?
Highly, highly professional, Hollywood was one of the most useful Nazi investments. Not as much for citizenry as it was and is for the parasitic gangs in TOTAL control.
Internal rot is the most dangerous, similar to termites, former Soviets are still DYING, compliments of Boys from Brooklin.
High POTENTIAL for conning many used to MSM
U.S. Grant would be proud of this man. (And if Grant were alive today he’d be on the board of Raytheon and shilling for LGBTQ+ and BLM.)
Larry,
Did you catch Tucker Carlson’s piece on the CIA JFK assassination. Is it time to put a bullet in the head of this corrupt and evil organization?
https://youtu.be/PAiRmhXvJHs
Milburn spent 31 yrs in a comic book. You can see the cognitive dissonance written all over him as he tries to fit his UA experience into the comic book career trajectory that lifted him to Colonel, Special Forces. He’s never had to even think what war against a force that can deny him the comic book weapons that he terrified ragtag militiamen, farmers and villagers with on his rise to the top.
Now he’s stuck between the absurd, comic book lies that brought him to UA, and the narrative shattering realities that drove him out. He can’t stay where he is, and he can’t move on. I doubt we’ll hear from him again.
“He can’t stay where he is, and he can’t move on.”
There are a lot of people out there learning that the world that they thought they knew is not what it had seemed. Emotional pain cascades through the population as increasing numbers of people realize that they are not citizens but subjects, and that the fruit of civilization their forebears had accumulated over many generations to be passed on to their children has been stolen by internationalist gangsters who want them dead and replaced because their continued existence makes the gangsters fearful of righteous justice. Overlay on to that the proliferation of mental illness accompanying the destruction of traditional cultural mores which used to shepherd the mentally weak into adequately stable and productive lives. Now they are lost and broken, and lashing out in their ignorant pain. Suffering lies behind us, suffering is all around us, and suffering lies before us and unfortunately for us all the only cure is collapse.
It would be a mistake to think that our civilizational dissolution is merely an entropic process. The architects of this disaster are like demolition engineers taking down a building, but Trump and Putin disrupted both the timing and placement of some of the charges, so the system is not collapsing according to their original plan. Are the globalists capable and flexible enough to adjust the birth of their New World Order (bursting Sigourney Weaver Alien-like from the chest of traditional human civilization) to avoid being hunted across the planet as species-level criminals? We are all going to find out.
FWIW, the system’s fate was known by the mid ’90s. The big boys had already started pulling their capital out by then. China’s entry into the WTO in Dec 2001 was all about facilitating the transfer.
The “Plan” seems to have been to gain control of Russia’s resource base, and in that way maintain a grip on China’s development. With those two in the bag, they could then attempt to do what no elite in history has been able to do. Namely, stay perched at the top of the power pyramid through a monetary transition.
IOW, it’s not about engineering an otherwise avoidable collapse, but to steer the inevitable collapse to an outcome that favours their positions. IMHO, all the wokeness and fear-mongering is nothing more than the elites’ neutering any socio-political developments that may threaten their primary goal… to stay on top through the transition.
China, tricked ’em. It burned through the West’s credit card in building themselves a shiny new country. Now they’re handing it back. Russia, having yanked its resources off the West’s dinner plate is in process of building itself a shiny new country as well.
Neither the Russian nor the Chinese elites see any reason they should share power, much less take a subservient role to the West’s elites. China’s industrial power will be controlled by Chinese elites, and Russia’s resource base will controlled by Russian elites.
That’s what’s got Soros’ and Schwab’s knickers twisted. The top of the pyramid they’ll be left with looks to be an uncomfortably stony perch.
Well said. I believe that both China and Russia would HAVE been perfectly fine with a full multi-power world i.e. including US, Europe etc. letting each nation/region have its comparative advantages , trading, dealing in good faith. But who would trust the “West” now? Any rapprochement will take many years well after the death of Soros, Schwab and the deposition of all their puppet “leaders”Trudeau, Arcanda, Macron etc. As a Canadian I am thankful to Russia and China for gutting Davos getting them to once again rebrand as the new flavour of Deep State that they are.
“Well said. I believe that both China and Russia would HAVE been perfectly fine with a full multi-power world i.e. including US, Europe etc. letting each nation/region have its comparative advantages , trading, dealing in good faith.”
“The United States of America” is a network of coercive relations which like many you appear to conflate with a “nation state” capable of “co-operation by agreement” rather than requiring co-operation by coercion to temporarily achieve sustainability within acceptable tolerances.
Some in “The Soviet Union” understood this by 1968 whilst the nomenklatura of “The Soviet Union”, to sustain their illusions/hopes of detente/mutual respect with “The United States of America”, followed a different policy based upon being complicit in the sustainability of “The United States of America” through “wizardry” including but not limited to turning gold into paper.
This encouraged some in “The Soviet Union” to cooperate internally to facilitate the ongoing transcendence of “The Soviet Union” by what is presently known as The Russian Federation.
The understanding that “The United States of America” is agreement incapable was achieved by a few by 1922 after famine relief at the “close” of The Russian Civil War, and by some more by 1968 – it was not a Damascene vision/imaculate conception” of 2020.
Consequently your
“I believe that both China and Russia would HAVE been perfectly fine with a full multi-power world i.e. including US, Europe etc. letting each nation/region have its comparative advantages , trading, dealing in good faith.”
is predicated on the illusion that “The United States of America” is not an agreement incapable network of coercive social relations, but a nation state of we are all in this togetherness capable of cooperation with others for mutual benefit as they always mean well, but make the occasional mistake – a function of your “socialisation”.
Yes, and I’m waiting for the other foot to drop. How clownish and stupid does one half to be to reach the rank of General or Admiral in this comic book universe that Washington is built upon. How does competency for the real world even survive?
Russians can find a common language with the American people, but never with the Ukrainian Nazis and globalists. Ukrainian Nazism is an imitation of German Nazism, Hitler, the SS, it is symbolism, performance. It’s all for the evil of the Russians. It’s envy. This is for the sake of justifying the betrayal of their Faith – Orthodox Christianity. History repeats itself as a farce.
It is pure envy.
As to the video, I found it a waste of time. A bunch of dumbasses sitting around regurgitating propaganda they sucked up without a critical thought. The most intriguing part was watching Milburn trying to eat peanuts while droning on.
Some (often untold) truth about weed. I spent many years in Durban South Africa, the home of Durban Poison, allegedly the best you can get. Unlike alcohol, with a half-life measured in hours, cannabis is fat-soluble so stays in the body semi-permanently. It’s half-life is measured in months, so someone that’s on it, is always on it, never fully sober. With regular top-ups, always reasonably happy, even if the rent has not been paid.
The come-down is brutal, severe depression for weeks, even months. I once worked in my spare time with an organisation helping sufferers recover. (Do your own research.) If this colonel goes back to the front lines and cops it, at least he’ll die happy.
Those interested in candid interviews of another British lad, that somehow came back alive from the most corrupt country in Europe, should not miss this special guy (according to his patches).

Don’t get to upset by this buffoon. Get upset that there are worse buffoons in the Pentagon right now. Below is a link of how North Korea sent 5 drones into South Korea. All the way to the capitol. We are watching the future of warfare in Ukraine. There is no longer air power in the old sense. You might be able to launch cruise missiles from far off, but air defenses are too good against a peer opponent. Hypersonic’s have doomed aircraft carriers. And what are the idiots in the Pentagon doing? Building F35’s and aircraft carriers. This guy is not an outlier. Look at the parade of idiots we had march thru Afghanistan and Iraq announcing their plans for “victory”. And when they left? Promotions and more fruit salad on their jackets. WE WILL LOSE THE NEXT BIG WAR. A smart man would therefore plan on not fighting one. But again. NO SMART MEN. One last note. Satellites. We will WIN because of our communications, and satellite links, and technology! Until the Russians kill every satellite floating in the sky. And then your “Land Warriors” in their GPS linked suits are in trench warfare with mud and no batteries against a Russian grunt with a AK74. Get back to me about how that works out.

Statistically meaning, I don’t like to comment on the “Internet”. But I have to write some cliché on this one 🙂
Douglas Macgregor, as some wrote above, cuts the BS, he don’t mind to express his informed views. That’s the main reason to not being promoted to general officer, a rank mainly populated by politically nominated bureaucratic parrots. Also, he was too aggressive at Easting 73, which didn’t help on the promotion.
Three midwits shoot the shit. Now I better understand why we lose wars.
Did everyone note Putin’s recent “give up or die” ultimatum? This is what a good leader does just before the hammer smashes down. The Russians have prepped for a winter offensive for months. I expect a massive aerial and artillery bombardment for a few days to kick this thing off, as the Soviets did before each WWII offensive.
I suspect the Colonel knows this too, hence the common Marine reaction to stress, get drunk, and blame someone else for the coming failure.
I am skeptical of any senior military officer that “made their career” during the never ending wars. At best we “fought” an insurgency war where every citizen of the country we were in were considered insurgents. We started the tradition of anointing a leader for the country that was in it for themselves because we liked them and didn’t care if the leader cared about the citizenry. It started in Korea, went to Iran, and the list goes on and on. The US should be ashamed of what it has done and continues to do in Ukraine.
Larry,
Among the many valuable things you mentioned in Gonzalo Lira’s Roundtable with John Kiriakou https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfUzUq5L9NFv2GMVGbEBgkg was how the CIA’s managerial stratum is permeated with know-it-all arrogance. As my grandmother used to say, it must be that the wise King Solomon’s dog musta bit ’em. My esteem for you leapt on learning why you left the CIA! This is a mentorship lesson for young people, especially young men wanting to be men, not soy boys.
Your and Mr. Kiriakou’s acclamation of Snowden as a hero accords with Ray McGovern’s and my own assessment–the man risked his life to tell us things we needed to know; but we have dropped the ball and failed to fix much of anything.
Alas, so many men I know have also been bitten by King Solomon’s dog, and they just know for sure that Snowden should be taken out and shot. Now that the CIA has been implicated in heaping $3 million in black payola to Twitter to censor those who tried to tell too much truth, it will be interesting to see the cognitive dissonance as they excuse this away too.
Further to mentorship, we should guide young men to observe and emulate such as yourself, Kiriakou, McGovern (I hope he is all right), Macgregor, and Ritter.
And nearly as important, not waste time on Mr. Mozart. Quickly overcome by cringe reflex, I just watched a couple of minutes. But only having seen one other video of a brief interview he gave from Kyiv, the conclusion I formed was that yes, he probably is suffering from PTSD. But likely more importantly, he seems sunk in the despondent disillusionment of a man who chose the wrong side, and who has been disabused of his ardent secular religious conviction of heroically serving an honest and just cause.
I hope that unlike the CIA’s PoohBahs and all too many of my fellow American Joes, this Marine engages in some deep reflection.
Thanks for all you do! Keep on keepin’ on!
Just a sterling example of “In vino veritas”.
I am always a bit cautious with my analysis and commentary when I see unprofessional senior officer stuff like this…as a general rule I would expect an MARSOC 06 to have his shit wired pretty tight…we’re talking a very small percentage of USMC officers that would ever attain that rank within a very elite community. Not saying that Milburn is infallible–clearly he is not.
Just consider possibly that Milburn’s YouTube video was staged…kind of a ruse just before the much anticipated Russian Army Winter Offensive.
The video kind of reminds me of the scene in HBO’s Rome series where Caesar tells Brutus that the legions of Gaul “are absolutely mutinous” knowing that Brutus would go back and report that intel to Pompey and that Pompey would interpret that as a sign of Caesar’s weakness.
Maybe Milburn is just telling it like it is…maybe he is not.
I don’t see the value of the misinformation, if that’s what it is.
OTOH, who filmed that little soiree and why? Do we know? How did it end up on the internet? It does seem weird that we can watch it.
“Why” is the big question for me Eric…I have to admit the IO world is not my specialty…I am more of a fire and maneuver guy…the timing of it is not coincidental for my part e.g. before the next offensive kicks off (if there is another offensive).
The Milburn video was like amateur hour and again very uncharacteristic of an 06 spec ops personality–I guess we can all have out drunken moments.
If the vid is info ops I just can’t figure out what its intent is…you can bet the Ukie Army will fight hard for their country just as we would…maybe the video was meant to convince the RUS Army otherwise???
I agree. Everything about the colonel and the convo is odd and, yes, “why?” seems meaningful to me. The Colonel doesn’t speak like a 31 year Marine (or soldier), let alone spec ops. The swagger, jargon, slang and general pattern isn’t there, IMO. He must be a real eccentric.
Makes no sense to come clean on those topics, from any direction or for any purpose.
Same as Merkel’s revelations.
Only thing I can fathom is catharsis. Poe’s tell-tale heart at work.
Yes, seems counter-productive, unless it’s to warm us up for an impending Ukraine defeat. However, if that’s the case, then I would think the video or transcript would be appearing in more mainstream sources, though I think I did see some key excerpts about Mozart casualty levels in the NY Times (could be wrong about that, but it was one of the more widely read govt controlled sources).
Yes, Hard to believe Milburn is a retired O6 from Special Operations Command. I doubt he was this was this way at the peak of his career.
He seems to be suffering from whatever ails Col Lang + some kind of burnout/PTSD/other conditions?
As Andrei Martyanov would say – The guy has no real education, what can you expect?
https://www.marinecorpstimes.com/news/your-marine-corps/2020/02/25/mogadishu-to-mosul-a-look-into-a-marine-special-operations-commanders-three-decade-journey/
Milburn was born in Hong Kong, the son of a British father and American mother who sent him to boarding school in England, where he later studied philosophy and law in college. Milburn always had envisioned the law as his future.
I watched some other interviews with him.
Seems like a real dirtbag.
Check out Nolan Peterson sometime. He used to post about his uplifting experiences about the ‘corps d’esprit’ he found with the Azov (or similar) ranks years back.
Newsweek used to carry his war stories from the Daily Signal, which prompted me to do a little research on the stories Newsweek carried, which pointed to their being the public voice of the Atlantic Council, which is in turn the public voice of NATO.
This war’s been prepped and planned for years. While Russia softens Ukrainian resistance on the battlefield, The US has been softening public resistance to this war for a decade or more. They did their job well.
Thanks. Despite rapid change brought on by computers and technology humans still move at their own pace. Those early years of NATO and EU were seeded with people not necessarily opposed to Hitler’s world view(maybe forget racial nonsense). People around today were mentored by those folks.
If this is what Russia is facing, no doubt the Spetsnaz are not worried about succeeding with SMO. They are taking more naps! I watched short video elsewhere, but I could only watch this video for a couple of minutes before I realised (once again) why the west loses every war! Idiots. On the other hand, Doug MacGregor is interesting to the last. Actually has real info and facts to explain why the fascist west is losing something they started. I also enjoyed watching most of the Lira interview about the CIA! Though, he clearly has no intelligentsia or military training. In the old days of intelligentsia training, my professor and I would lean into the CIA and have a laugh- after the work was done of course. I guess the real questions is: what happened to the west? Has it always been fucked up or why do so many ‘exceptional’ bratty fascists really believe they own the world? They are in for a serious wake-up call. Just watch Putin’s recent Q & A session or read a Tolstoi book and gee the IQ jumps expontentially. I would imagine most living species look at homo sapiens and say: what the fuck!
Take into account the following three dots to connect:
1. The Col.’s countries of expertise: Egypt, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. The US military fighting in ME and Nam is similar to a professional heavyweight boxer training against a featherweight. He will be defeated when faced with a peer.
2. Calling the Russians as bad as ISIS. Could he mean they are not afraid to fight eyeball to eyeball or call air support at the slightest? Or, that the Russians will not defend a strategically worthless base in a valley surrounded by high ground all around. (Watch the movie the Outpost, the inverse of taking a worthless hill in Nam.)
3. The totally unreserved demeanor and speech of a US Marine Corp Col.
It would not be an unreasonable prediction, that when the Russian offensive begins, the only group of people whom will be shocked and awed, will be our perfumed princes of the Pentagon.
Caitlin Johnstone reports that “Milburn was one of the sources for the CBS News report that weapons are disappearing in Ukraine and being sold on the black market.”
https://consortiumnews.com/2022/08/12/caitlin-johnstone-ukraine-gets-cbs-to-retract-critical-report/
Every time I see news about the US Marine Corp or one of their own I am reminded of the old Kay Griggs interviews where she lays bare for the world what goes on inside the US Marine Corps at the highest levels.
Mozart. Yeah, sure thing.
Quote:
Russ Winter–“The U.S. military is run by sexual deviants, mostly homosexuals… the U.S. military itself is a mind-control operation. She termed the top cadre as ‘existentialists’ and ‘members of the firm.’ This has compelling logic. This type of nihilism believes in the nothingness of human existence and in “do as thy wilt” philosophy. They believe in one world, devoid of religions. We discussed individual extreme examples in our articles on Israel Keyes and George Hodel, as well as Canadian Col. Russell Williams.”

i have listened to part of it. looks like this guy has a conscience and is tired of this . Probably he is not a true believer anymore. Allot of interesting comments on this including about kay griggs. Years ago i have listened to her 7 hour interview Tim posted above. After i watched this i have ever since discouraged anyone i know from joining the military and going to afghanistan to guard the poppy fields.

one guy i always found fascinating was john paul vann. He died very soon after the last real victory the south had over the north the Battle of Kontum in the vietnam war in which he played a key part in winning. He died when he was at the top of his game which adds to the legend . This is like just stonewall jackson who played a key part in the Battle of Chancellorsville which was the last great victory the south had over the north in the civil war. He died due to friendly fire right after the battle and his leadership abilities and tactical sense could never be replaced.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kontum
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Paul_Vann
Death
Three days after the Battle of Kontum, Vann was killed when his helicopter crashed into a grove of trees near a village cemetery. He was 47 years old. He was buried on June 16, 1972, in Section 11 of Arlington National Cemetery. His funeral was attended by such notables as General William Westmoreland, Major General Edward Lansdale, Lieutenant Colonel Lucien Conein, Senator Edward Kennedy, and Daniel Ellsberg.
Legacy
On June 18, President Richard Nixon posthumously awarded Vann the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian citation, for his ten years of service in South Vietnam.[7] For his actions from April 23–24, 1972, Vann, ineligible for the Medal of Honor as a civilian, was also awarded (posthumously) the Distinguished Service Cross,[8] the only civilian so honored since World War II.[1]
Neil Sheehan wrote a Pulitzer Prize-winning Vietnam history and biography of Vann, A Bright Shining Lie: John Paul Vann and America in Vietnam, in which Sheehan also examines two of Vann’s alleged career-stunting incidents involving morals charges during his service in West Germany and at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and how these possibly affected Vann’s future actions and resulting career path both in and after Vietnam.[1] In 1998, HBO made the film A Bright Shining Lie, adapted from the book, with Bill Paxton playing the role of Vann.[9]

if we want peace mankind as a whole needs to decide not to participate in these elite run wars where the common man does the dying and the criminal elite military industrial complex enrich themselves. this is shown in the classic star trek episode below. In this episode the klingons would be the brics and the federation the collective west.

Hey Larry,
Have you heard/read about this?
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/cia-directing-sabotage-attacks-inside-russia-report
It appears to me that he is trying to distance himself from crimes committed by saying it was the Ukrainians.
My apologies if someone has already brought this up. I hastily read through the comments.
I Agree with Mr. Bill Osborne Jr
says 28 December 2022 at 00:05
“My comments my be premature but after watching an hour of the discussion with Milburn he seems liken an OK guy. I don’t agree with him but he does not come across like he is bought off… ”
The idea of the video is a sort of Joe Rogan style interview;
where he presents above all Andrew Milburn as author
from the book “When the Tempest Gathers” from a Marine Special Operations Commander at War…
No need to insult or treat him stupid.
He is an honorable soldier who fought and risked his life for his country with the heroism and courage -on the streets of Mogadishu, Baghdad, Fallujah and Mosulfor- and he was a recognized fighter.
He presents and represents a Ukrainian and American option
in the current Russo-Ukrainian war.
This video has no relationship with Weed or Liquor…nor is it worth comparing it to Colonel MacGregor or Lt-Cl Scott Ritter or
other ex-servicemen who also defended the USA in other recent wars, with courage and heroism.
I listened carefully this 2 hours and 14 minutes into the interview. It is what it is.
This is how -really- war is…
I think Milburn is just a Patsy – a dumb one (wait, wut, you always use a dumb guy as the patsy?) because what he is doing, mercenary without a Contract with the MIC, is so Illegal that he wouldn’t be doing it without a ‘wink and nod’ from one of the ‘agencies’. What they thought his actual Value to the program is inscrutable at this point.
I think he’s gone off-script in a big way by revealing how F-d up the ukronazis are, and either he now gets Fragged, or the Money stops, and the whole “mozart” organization just evaporates. Hopefully those poor dumb bastards manage to GTFO of Country 404 before Ivan finishes cleaning it up, and the War Crimes Trials start.
Past US military leaders were different but that society and political leadership were different. There was still a sense of honour, a society with similar values and some politicians who actually believed in doing the right thing. Plus religion was a bigger factor.
Millburn is sad to watch because I’m sure he did not want to face these truths and be reduced to this level but there is only so much someone with some kind of conscience can see before they realise the old certainties are all lies in a world that is changing to fast for comfort.
Drop by any retired veteran center and talk to those who were in Afghanistan Iraq Vietnam etc,. a drink or six later half of them all sound like this guy. When it’s over and you see the lies and death and ugliness, where do you run?
It’s been on his mind. He said it. He may regret it. But he put some truth out there and it’s a good thing he did.
Ukraine is not the only f up country. https://www.bitchute.com/video/Dvng0HCtzlxq/
Thank you for this. A really interesting talk.
I give him credit for going forward, although I don’t credit the cause.
As far as how he acts when drunk, meh.
He just came back from a war zone, I don’t care about bad language.
At least he was honest .
The cause wasn’t Ukraine per him, but the rules based international order something something.
Again credit for putting his life on the line, as far as bad language ..uh..
yes, peace now.
Bad language? Really
Here’s much better video with same lead actor. I suppose it got him at least two medals for courage under fire.
