Word is circulating in Washington that relations between Kiev and the Biden Defense Department has hit a rough patch.
Apparently there was an early morning phone call from Zelensky to Joint Chiefs of Staff head General Mark Milley and others.
We have only a third party unconfirmed readout of the phone call, so you have to be cautious in assessing what allegedly took place.
According to the unconfirmed report, Zelensky told Milley they are taking very heavy losses and cannot continue the offensive.
He pleaded for more air defenses including Patriot and F-16s.
Apparently Milley and others on the US side were very angry and demanded that the offensive continue.
The results as of late afternoon (Ukraine time), June 10 in Ukraine, after a major night offensive (1AM to 3AM) and a second push in the early morning by Ukrainian forces, were unsuccessful, and Ukrainian forces again incurred heavy losses. We don’t have numbers from either side yet.
Why is Milley angry at Zelensky? Did someone use an improper pronoun? This account may be pure disinformation, so keep that in mind. But if it is true it exposes the malevolent role that Biden’s defense and intelligence team is playing in fomenting this horrific conflict.
I am fascinated by some of the news reports and pundit commentary who insist that a Ukrainian failure means that a long, stalemated war is the likely outcome. That opinion is so stupid and so divorced from reality that it beggars the mind in trying to come up with an explanation for such nonsense. Ukraine is running out of critical weapons, such as artillery, tanks, and fixed wing aircraft — and these losses are accelerating — and Kiev has no good prospects for replacing them. Ukraine also is running out of trained manpower. How does one continue to pursue a stagnant war when the very things you require to conduct and sustain such a war are in short supply and becoming more scarce?
The Ukrainian offensive is entering its eighth day and the only things Zelensky and his generals have to show for the effort are piles of bodies and smoldering tanks and armored personnel carriers.
To the last Ukrainian.
Twice the birds up over CONUS as normal, S Calf has navel assets and missile out in the open…. some body took down the RU banks…. NATO basis in EU are being purged of civilians and innocents … got the big NATO air show…
… fun times.
Why Southern California? Missiles from Russia would come in over the North Pole, I thought.
Sarmat’s have the range and speed to come from either direction.
Subs.. plenty of em…
They’re laying out in deep water off both the eastern and western seaboards.
Subs.. plenty of em…
They’re laying out in deep water off both the eastern and western seaboards.
The Russian Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile is capable of flying over the South Pole and hitting the U.S. from the south.
Some of them would. Those submarine based would come from wherever submarines are, which adds Pacific and Atlantic to the mix. In addition to that, Sarmat can target USA by going over South Pole.
I’m in the Jacksonville Beach area and we have unusually heavy helicopter traffic all night.
You’ll be able to deal with the traffic, once all those Stingers Trickle-down to those that payed for them trough taxes.
Now THAT Soothie, is an intriguing scenario, what with all those ‘Carbon Deficient’ private jets flying around. I’d bet actual money that there aren’t too many of those carrying “innocent” people around.
Oh my, that sounds ominous. My daughter lives there, Mr. Alex Thrace.
Is this for real? Ukraine selling kids kidnapped from the Donbass, in some cases just their organs (at 41:05). Unfortunately, no subtitles but I understand enough of it.
Пусть мама услышит (Let mama hear)
https://youtu.be/YG9Aq-t-qVU
An excerpt with subtitles: https://www.bitchute.com/video/uxFtrMVeew3m/
I hope to God this is propaganda and not true, in spite of some Ukrainians’ attitude toward their Donbass citizens that tells me it is.
Tell me it isn’t because my soul can’t take it otherwise.
Where do you think Epsteins of this world get their supply? Human trafficking has been going on from Ukraine for ages. This is less of a news than the biolabs which everyone knew about. Black market organ transplantation was happening in ex-Yugoslav territories too. You need to close your eyes very hard in order to think those things have not been happening all along.
This has been going on in Ukraine since 2014 at least & no doubt, long before that too. Every depraved thing you can imagine is probably true !! Several doco’s on Telegram detailing organ harvesting, child sex trafficking, kidnapping. Why did you think The Russians moved kids from disputed areas. Hence the demonising of Putin over it – he probably threw a spanner in their works. Oh year. At the RED CROSS offices in Mariupol, some DPR soldier said on camera (from memory) that all the Red Cross childrens paperwork was on a bench, all laid out in blood type. I’m not sure if they had the kids or whether they were gone. They were real sus on it.
Zelensky’s shopping allowance is getting dangerously low. The Zelensky faithfuls and the nazi Kiev regime have shown their intense “dislike” of the Donbass residents as shown by their abuse of them, often fatal, of these residents since 2014, and currently. I believe the Zelensky regime is, indeed kidnapping kids, either for organs or sexual trafficking or both. As you may recall, Zelensky started a big stinky accusation about “kidnapping” residents from, surprisingly, war-torn Ukraine. All I want is Zelensky and his regime members rounded up for what they’ve done and given a proper sendoff to the “abyss.”
Russians should take a side panel from every Leopard tank destroyed, make sure there is a Wehrmacht Kreuz or WW II era iron cross on it, and write: “Die Naziregierung in Berlin und Herr Scholz mussen kapitulieren!”
💯
Something that goes unnoticed in this crazed support for the Kiev regime is that Ukrainian nationalists hate both Russia and Europe. At the time when documentaries were still being made in Europe about the hijacking of the Kiev protests in 2014 and even the BBC made excellent documentaries about the neo-Nazis of Euromaidan, who kept repeating this hatred. Basically they just like Bandera. Now imagine Europe’s problem if these bastards succeeded.
Scholtz is an enigma to me, he sought power all his life and yet he has no knowledge whatsoever
of how to wield it when he has it. The man is a wet noodle.
They should surround the Germany embassy in Moscow with heaps of destroyed Leopards and other German hardware so that the ambassador has to climb over the detritus of German military equipment when he wants to go to the office in the morning.
Or use them as lawn decorations at the Russian embassy in Berlin
I bet it is hard to find any such designs on those tanks
If you are looking for “Balkenkreuz” you may need to paint them on yourself
And a trolling video could be made of the Russians assembling the collected pieces into a new Leopard, set to the tune of “One Piece at a Time”.
I love that song by Johnny Cashzensky!!!
And they should melt them down to plate the sidewalks of Russia as a. reminder of what voracious NATO welfare queens will do for easy money.
No sense in pinning it on just the Germans, these vile plans and squandered taxes were kept well away from the population.
This rot goes back to the Brussels rat nest and the Swamp vermin.
They own this war.
Could be Zelensky covering his ass Larry. Making himself look like a victim of the big bad Hegemony. They ordered him to send his people into a meat grinder and promised to help (yada).
I smell rats from Zelensky to Biden and everyone in between particularly those who hang out in the shadows. They’re getting nervous aren’t they? I hate to see this waste of blood. In fact it makes me sick.
The Russians and the Ukrainians should be as brothers. No need for this extermination process. I don’t know shit about the culture there. But it seems to me these people have so much in common. Ukies that may glance at this blog understand we are not rooting for your suffering. We have much disdain for your superiors in the US and NATO.
If you are slated for death on the front line why not turn a 180. You are going to lose and the people who send you already know that. No need to fight for them anymore. Go to Valhalla with glory boys. You may not be of Scandinavian decent but you fight like it. You are hands down the toughest, fiercest army NATO has access to. This includes the US.
God Bless both armies!!
There is no difference between Russians and Ukrainians. I’ve lived in Russia, I know many Ukrainians – two have stayed in my house when visiting this country – and in Goa and Turkey I’ve repeatedly seen Russians and Ukrainians on holiday socialising and forming couples who went off together to their hotel rooms for some intimacy. This is an entirely American manufactured conflict on the level of the Syrian one.
There is little if any genetic difference. But there is huge cultural/worldview/mindset difference.
Overlapping with urban/peasant difference, with nordic/southerner difference.
Any person can lean toward any mindset or even remake oneself. Indeed, lot of “ethnic Russians” (whatever this should mean) went to Ukraine to become “nationally-aware Ukrainians” (EuroMaidan term). And then many people made the opposite transition.
So, on individual level it is indeed a matter of personal choice (and overcoming the “programming” made by parents and childhood environment).
But on the nation level, where millions and millions gets integrated into some large trend, the difference becomes very noticeable.
In a cultural grand picture Ukraine is a deadly zombie virus, that is resident to the place, that keeps spreading when it come, and that can not be eradicated (at least we did not find cure for 300 years of attempts)
> American manufactured conflict
Americans gladly poured oil into fire. But fire there was – it was there in 1940-s, in 1910-s and it was there 200 years ago. The flames might leap high or hide away, but they sadly never goes off completely.
Nuland went out of her way to join the chaos in 2014 and goad the violence.
Diplomats are tasked with the opposite – they are supposed to resolve conflicts, form agreements and treaties, etc.
Nuland is a cheap rabble rouser and has cheapened whatever dignity the State Department had left.
Is not true! This is the perception created by the Russophobic propaganda in the West after Euromaidan. Which was a square in Kiev full of people and three televisions that opened this week in Ukraine! That more than 50% of the Ukrainian population did not support it according to polls in 2014 in an all-pro Maidan newspaper like the Kiev Independent. The CIA has been making color revolutions for 50 years! It has a lot of know-how! Otherwise how did Yanukovich win the elections? Or how come 80% of the Ukrainian population before 2014 never supported joining NATO according to NATO documents: Page 32:
https://www.nato-pa.int/document/2011-172-cdsdg-11-e-rev1-ukraine-malan-report
Unfortunately, as in war, reality has become what MSM divulges.
it is the tip of the iceberg. Shallow – less than 10 years. I was talking about centuries. Shallow – some Ukrainian not wanting economic suicide does is only one datum of the continuum, you could also point them having two legs and two arms, like is counting limbs would make their national culture identical to yours.
But remember Khruschev, Brezhnev and Gorbachev and what those Ukrainian rulers did with USSR – run it to the ground.
And on “individuals” levels one could read some memories of Maria Arbatovj (1990-s), or post-1939 communists, or about Makhno, or about Kolyivshchina. About Shevchenko, or XIX novel by Kuprin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Sorci%C3%A8re_(film)
In 1993 Russia was far worse than Uklraine. But somehow we were striving to select best things from West and best things from USSR. While Ukraine persistently cultivated worst things from both. But yes, individuals can “reform” themselves into both directions. Yet “body cultural” is as opposite as can be.
Remember, the founding book of that nation is Kuchma’s “Ukraine is not Russia”. They are valiantly honest of their goals.
Look what post-WW2 Ukrainians did to USA and Canada, to their political stratas.
Most often the debate is about small details of this major conflict instead of focusing on the bigger picture.
What is important is what will happen now that the Leopards have shown to be paper tigers?
If Zelensky invites a coalition of willing Nations to fight Russia in Ukraine, the coalition force with Poland as the largest force, will come under attack from Russia and Belarus.
Besides if NATO member Poland engages Russian forces in Ukraine, NATO article 5 will not apply as the article only applies when a NATO country is being attacked. Not when a NATO country is attacking another Nation outside its own territory.
Moreover, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister has publicly stated that troops from other Nations will not be allowed to enter and fight in Ukraine, as it negates the sovereignty of Ukraine.
His statement exposes that there is no unity in the Ukrainian Government, and that the whole idea of a Coalition of willing Nations to go against Russia is cooked up by the adviser to President Zelensky, former Danish Prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who launched Denmark into the Bush Junior coalition of willing Nations invading Iraq post 9/11.
If such a coalition is formed to fight Russia in Ukraine, it will be just as illegal according to international law as the post 9/11 invasion of Iraq. However that doesn’t hamper War criminals from attempting to repeat their crimes.
Thus bringing former and current war criminals to Justice is much more important than whether Milley yelled at Zelenskyj or not.
They would start weaponizing hedgehogs…
Hedgehogs in Ukraine… >_<

Yes but that is the nature of things – Evil is given far too much leeway and indulgence……
Politics needs friction and polarisation to gain and maintain power
Agree 100%. I cannot figure out how “these” people create such animosity tho. I say that as I take a step back and look at the trouble they’re creating here in the US. People need to snap out of that shit and turn their guns around and go after the true enemy(s).
“I don’t know a shit about the culture there.”
Well, we don’t know much about American culture either, maybe the last one was the name of Leonard Bernstein, which could still be called that ? But if we mention the Slavs, i.e. Ukrainian and Russian-speaking culture, then I can list the names for a long time, such as Pushkin, Mussorgsky, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Rachmaninoff, Chekhov, Prokoviev, Shostakovich, Rubinstein, Lermontov, Solzhenitsyn, and the list is unbelievably long ! It’s true that they don’t have gangster rap 🙂 (I have a feeling that there won’t be ) but there was a Vysotsky who had a beautiful voice ! I think that when overseas, what used to be called the Land of the Free (but it’s gone!) calls the Russians barbaric orcs, it should first take a good look in the mirror and take off its hat with great respect. And I say all this knowing that both my grandfather and my father fought against the Russians with guns in hand ! But we never looked down on them ! Finally, in Hungary we have a saying “A bear is not a toy, the bear will kill you !” And I would recommend this to all my American and western europeans friends !
I wrote this on Moon Of Alabama yesterday:
It does look as though the Ukranazis are throwing in their reserves, if the reports that three times the earlier forces are attacking are correct. This would mean that they will have less and less left to exploit any breakthrough even should one be achieved. It also indicates that for whatever reason the nazis have decided Zaporozhye is the primary axis of advance, though literally anywhere else would be better.
There’s this hypothesis some are advancing that the West ordered this suicide offensive in order for it to be decisively defeated so as to find an excuse to intervene directly. I think that’s nonsense. The West could just declare that “to free Ukrainian troops to fight” they’re nonviolent occupying Ukraine (as they did in South Vietnam). Treating the world to the sight of cremated Leopards and Bradleys doesn’t fit into the military industrial complex’ plans at all.
I do believe it’s the West that ordered this, and the most likely reason is that Bidet (or rather his owners) is desperate to show some kind of “victory” before the 1½ year long Amerikastani presidential circus kicks off in earnest. If the nazis can’t show a victory this summer, then it’s in Bidet’s interests to pretend Ukranazistan never existed. He’ll need a few weeks or maybe months for the word “Ukraine” to disappear from what passes for brains in the people stupid enough to vote for him.
And what would be the best axis of advance for an army with almost no soldiers? And to get where?
BP, I get very irritated at the Ukranazis for having let themselves be used in this fashion. So every time they take a beating, I have to fight down a surge of schadenfreude. I do this by reminding myself that the troops dying in the Russian meatgrinder have spent a couple decades on the front line of a massive western psy-op designed to sow artificial racial and cultural discord where none should really exist. Ukrainians and Russians seem to me much less different in outlook and culture than, say, New Englanders and Texans.
I don’t take issue with anything you said about our doddering sock-puppet ‘president’ or rather ‘his owners’ as you put it. Biden voters – among whom I number quite a few ex-friends, several now-disowned family members and many acquaintances – are, in essence, zombies. They’re even worse than the ‘good Germans’ of the 1930s, utterly incapable of critical thinking.
Unfortunately, however, the Republicans, even most MAGA types, are no better. Overwhelmingly they have bought into the two-decade-old ‘Putin’s Russia’ psy-op, just like the Ukrainians. Some, it’s true, argue we have no compelling interest at stake in Ukraine and that we shouldn’t be wasting money on the place. But everyone agrees that Putin’s the villain.
When it comes to Ukraine and Russia, our right-wingers and left-wingers mostly share a very American sort of stupidity: They’re strangely enthusiastic about issues, places, people and events they’re almost totally ignorant of. It’s the Dunning-Kruger effect.
good post.
You are exactly right: “Ukrainians and Russians seem to me much less different in outlook and culture than, say, New Englanders and Texans.”
I have been visiting/living in Kharkov for years. It is a Russian city in everything but its location inside the current boundary of the political entity falsely named ‘Ukraine’, a perversion attributable originally to the Bolshevik goal to de-Russify Tsarist Russia and since the fall of the USSR to the avarice of the USA hegemony.
It’s tempting to think of the propagandized masses as stupid, and casting Putin as the villain is the propaganda’s core Big Lie, but I know very intelligent Kharkovians who believe with their heart and soul that they are true patriots by supporting the Kiev regime. Some of these have lost brothers or husbands. a tragedy of immeasurable heartbreak. The lies told by Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden and their State Dept minions, gleefully spread by the despicable mainstream media, are largely responsible. if there is Hell, they should all wind up there.
You are right about the uniParty here in the US, except that their cowardice needs to be called out. They are all let’s you and him fight. I don’t see any of their fat asses picking up an AK-74 or M-4 and some kevlar and hot-footing it over to Ukraine to sit thru a Russian artillery strike. For the survivors of Vietnam and the stupid wars in the Middle East, it must be repulsive and degrading. It is not just ignorance, it is cowardice.
Don’t forget that one way to either end it or force entry of actual NATO troopy dupes is to kill off all the Ukrainians. Sick, but this is Transylvania Avenue for you.
Larry’s copy may be disinfo but conceal hidden truths. Is it possible that the dam was blown in direct violation of some faction’s orders? Then you’ve got furious anger but you need to go through the branching logical flow charts to determine likelihoods.
I hope I am wrong but I feel that Zelensky is going to get suicided very soon
How long until Dicknuts Milley, et al, loose their cool and have NATO take matters until their own hands?
Umm 2 days… it starts… The ‘biggest military exercise in Nato history” in Germany. Fancy that.
Is not about loosing their patience. They are already in Ukraine doing everything they can and still get crushed. Russia is not some defenseless ME-country. Russia has all what it takes to defend their land and their population.
At some point Nato will not be able to lie about their involvement in all of this and will either accept their defeat or the consequences of whatever they do next. This is far from over.
EU committed economic suicide already. No one will take Nato for real now and they will not be able to invade or destroy any other country. US will not be able to sell their military crap to anyone but their own vassals. The west will be isolated from the rest of the world and will have to accept that they have no say in things like politics, society or trade. The separation started a while ago and is still going on.
The Freedom of Russia Legion was a stupid, bad, bad move.
I believe the Freedom of Ukraine Legion may now be seen as the answer and tool of choice.
The Freedom of America Legion could be problematic and may keep me awake at night.
typical cia move. they used to do that in the 60s with liberation movements, would create some phony liberation group with a revolutionary sound in order to suck out the wind of the targeted liberation movement.
The Nazis in World War II also already had a Russian Liberation Army led by the collaborator General Andrey Andreyevich Vlasov.
Monday maneuvers?
If this is indeed proven to be true, there is no more evidence needed that the current US government is pure evil, forcing the deaths of tens of thousands (at least!) just to try to harm Russia a bit, all for what? Just to lengthen the hegemony of the American elites for a little while more.
I really don’t understand why are the general Americans so apathetic to what US government does in their name? Billions in the world have not only suffered for numerous decades, but are now rising up united in anger towards USA, but the general American public don’t care??
I only recently realized that it’s possible for people to start believing their own lies. The insanity that is experienced today in the West is something that I believe has never been seen outside of any environment, let’s say, of a spiritual sect. But we still hear rational speeches. Like Michael Maloof’s response to former NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen’s idea of Poland and the Baltics openly entering the conflict. To be honest Rasmussen always looked like an old SS Colonel to me! And the worst surprise of this conflict in Europe really came from the countries of northern Europe. Because no european expects anything good from the East anymore – from the former Socialist Republics.
What the Warmongering Globalist Cabal is doing is committing Crimes against Humanity. The Madness of the Globalist Warmongers in the EU, NATO, and the US are hell-bent for WWIII because they believe their own lies that Russia is a Second Rate Everything! God will bring them all to their knees for that folly!
If God won’t, Putin certainly will….
Putin is merely the instrument
God would have mercy. He won’t.
Love the Leopard photos. Got a real laugh out of that one.
There is exit for either Ukraine or NATO fromthis. Both will be destroyed – first Ukraine in the short-term, then NATO in the longer term as it breaks apart.
The vassalage which is NATO will not break apart on its own. It will look to its master, the United States, and ask: “What do we do now, boss?”
The United States will feed NATO, the UK, and the EU to the Russian meat grinder, just like it did with the Ukraine.
Everybody acts like this Russo Ukraine War is only over when United States says it is. Not even Russia and China have the say. Not in a World War. Certainly not in this World War. Not in World War III.
Considering that China owns the President, The Senate, The House of Representatives, and the Joint Chiefs, They can stop this any time they want.
It seems we are rapidly coming to the end game. Either NATO folds its hand and walks away, leaving Ukraine to Russia and whatever Russia wants to do with it, or they enter the fray. It’s down to those 2 choices now for NATO/US.
Option 1, NATO loses all credibility and will be on the road to dissolution. Option 2, NATO loses a real war, and maybe WWIII. Russia has sufficient strength to whip NATO in a conventional conflict, as NATO is already out of ammunition, and would only be providing objects for Russian target practice. If it goes full on nuclear, Russia is ready for that, with superior missile defense and missile tech the US/NATO can’t touch.
However it goes from here, it will be the end of NATO and US dominance. Maybe the end of the US as we know it if they don’t give up being stupid.
Sometimes reality comes as a cold splash of water. Sometimes it comes as a swift kick in the nuts.

Reihenmetall has to admit that German weapons were destroyed. That is the real catastrophe!!! No one will buy them! The Ukrainians spoiled the business!
Sarcasm off. A tragedy no one cares about lifes. It’s no more my country.
it`s “rheinmetall”, as in the river, called the rhein.
Thanks for the correction, now what is the translation for bankrupt?
kaput? ‘Cause that’s their destiny!
and Roland, use sarcasm always and never reveal it. Why? Because AI will never be able to distinguish between sarcasm and factual statements. The one way we can kill the ‘progress’ of AI is always feed it sarcasm. Think about it. It’s the solution! If AI is collecting info on us (it is), it will always build a false profile. Sarcasm is the silver bullet.
What people call AI is actually expert systems. It only takes data fed into it and makes the connections between the data points and even the questions/tasks asked of it become data points. It’s not intelligent beyond what it’s fed and the rules it operates on.
Although “row metal” does have a certain charm, given the Leos were deployed in a lovely column.
And it it written with a capital R – “Rheinmetall”, like in the river Rhein.
Miley et al very angry? What they didn’t see this coming? They can’t be that clueless. Right? Surreal.
When you run a propaganda machine as powerful as that run by the West, the problem is that you start to believe it yourself.
Umm 2 days… it starts… The ‘biggest military exercise in Nato history” in Germany. Fancy that.
Most likely very soon some angry Ukrainian faction will try hit Zelinski in his bomb shelter. It’s also possible that NATO handlers ask him to leave Kiev and settle someplace in Canada which could explain Justin Trudeau paying a surprise visit to Kiev yesterday. He must have told Zeleinski about his new apartment being ready and that he must move there under the cover of the ongoing counteroffensive.
I suppose the reason Milley was angry with Zelensky is because the little man of Kyiv seemed to have forgotten that he’s an employee of the NATO whose only duty is to oversee the annihilation of Ukraine. The ongoing attempts by the US to shift the blame for the destruction of the Nordstream pipeline on to Ukraine is part of the same dynamics.
Zelensky is a moron. He should have stuck to tacky comedy shows. Now it is dawning on him that he is just as much a pawn as the people he pawned into a Swampite war. They own him, lock, stock, and barrel. And he might be just as expendable if he irritates his handlers.
Just saw a pic of Bin Salman and Blinkitblink meeting in a room, with the American flag conspicuously missing.
Saudi Arabia knows full well that the Biden Administration is “illegitimate” and are now making a full display of it for the whole world to see. Meanwhile imbeciles in America continue to insist that Biden “their President”.
I wonder when it will finally dawn on all those who helped steal the 2020 election that the joke is on them?????????
I don’t think that MBS cares one bit about whether US admin is legitimate or not, he is like tough gangster and he either respects you or not, and US he doesn’t respect anymore – its as simple as that
Maybe so, but we would be in an entirely different world and Saudi Arabia would still have some respect, deference and, perhaps even a little fear of the US and not keep poking JB in the eye with oil production cuts, 2 in one year, if not for the blatant fraud Democraps and the Deep State perpetrated on our democracy and sadly, probably their last stunt on our newly founded US Banana Republic.
The waste of life to provide some sort of perverted succour to the loathe some neocons in Washington DC and London et al revolts me.
I heard Margarita Simonyan, RT editor-in-chief, in her recent interview saying that most likely Putin would soon give an ultimatum to the Western countries supplying Ukraine with the long range weapons that if they don’t stop, their ports and airports, ships and planes transporting such weapons will become legit military targets for Russia. Lavrov also was clear that in WWIII, US won’t be able to hide behind the oceans, and getting the astronomical profits while the world takes the blood bath. I think our cretins-in-chief don’t even grasp how serious it all is and they will bring the war to our shores for their total corruption and incompetence.
Ukraine’s leadership has been lying from the beginning about everything. They attacked the eastern parts and Russia stepped in after they warned Zelensky and his gang to back off, which they did not. There should be no question about the agenda here. Ukraine is a filthy proxy ready to do anything for their masters, probably in exchange for money and a cushy place for retirement to Zelensky and his gang members. They have been lying about any aspect of that conflict. They even murdered their own people to blame Russia and still do. So don’t ask yourself how deranged they must be. Accept that this whole mess is the entire work of US/Nato to engage Russia, as Russia has become more active in challenging the west in their wrong-doings all over the world.
The west is loosing. By acting on Russia they showed again to the world their true color. That is why China and Russia have intensified their efforts to support each other in any thinkable sphere. The world did not succumb to western pressure and therefore can be seen as on the side of Russia.
It would serve Justice if someday soon for America to round up Merikan subversives, Applebum, Soros, & most of the ✡️ sleepy joe administration with the zeal & gusto afforded Osama bin Ladin.
Can’t you just hear the songbird’s chorus?
Those are not the subversives the Merikans are going to round up.
Not just “Ukraine is running out of critical weapons”.
Those Leopard 2A6 LGTB+ tanks are the latest rainbow iteration of the leopards, they’re not Old Stock. Germany just gave its best front line tanks to Ukraine, and “poof it’s gone”.
Next it’ll also be NATO’s old stock of Leopard 2s that go poof.
I thinks it’s getting time to pack up and go home…
…or maybe try and have a go at China. Yeah, that’ll do it!!
Alexander of the Duran mentioned that all the 777 artillery pieces the US Marines had were shipped to Ukraine.
The latest version is Leopard 2A7, though it doesn’t matter much. They all burn the same.
Latest is 2A8
When did it enter service?
Hungary ordered Leo tanks in 2017 – it is still awaiting delivery
Scholz stripped an operating unit of the BW to provide those tanks pledging replacements – doubt it will happen before 2030
But are they Gay?
Fake and gay.
From everything we saw during this conflict it was obvious that UKR attacks on entrenched RU defenders will end up in disaster, it simply could not be any other way – even non entrenched, whenever RU were defending they inflicted lopsided casualties on UKR side.
Simply put, if RU needed a lot of time and effort to beat entrenched UKR forces with better trained forces, better equipment, 10X artillery support and huge airpower advantage, what chance did UKR have other way arround?
Until recently I categorically rejected the possibility of WW3. Now, I am less and less optimistic as time goes on, because I see that NATO will continue at any cost. The West provoked Russia to force it to intervene in Ukraine and then tried to destroy it with economic sanctions. That plan failed and I have a feeling the neocons are upping the ante. It seems to me that by supplying increasingly deadly weapons to the regime in Kiev, they now want to force Russia to strike some targets in the countries of the NATO pact. They probably calculate that in such a war, one billion inhabitants in the countries of the NATO pact and the Asia-Pacific allies will be enough to defeat 145 million Russians, after which they would realize a centuries-old dream and get hold of Russian natural resources.
Among the Golden Billion of the “west”, there are not enough military aged males that are fit enough or willing to go to war.
And nowhere near enough weapons, or the factories to manufacture the weapons required.
In short, the “west” is fucked.
it will not end like this; if it happens, the world will only remain “STONE upon STONE”. recalls the words of Putin who never bluffed or threatened in vain: “What interest do I have in a World without Russia?” how to say: “die Samson with ALL the Philistines”
The biggest problem is that the West, which is constantly being lied to, does not know the mentality of the people of the East ! Just those who are interested in how you are with a fake smile on their face, but at the same time they are not at all interested in how you are ! Westerners are used to the fact that their politicians do not say a true, serious word ! But in the East, the word has weight, if something is said, it has meaning and consequences ! Even though Putin has told Western citizens living in a world of lies that things will end badly, they continue to grin stupidly and believe that Putin is also such a stupid demented puppet (who is constantly struggling with deadly diseases according to the idiotic British intelligence) as if he has only one job to sniff children’s hair !
The warning has been given, now the consequences are coming !

The contempt of opponents are vectors of their continuing useful foolery, certainty is the greatest of weaknesses, whilst all datastreams have utility for those with facility.
Question for escalationary V. Nuland: What comes after the last Ukrainian? The last Pole?
Of course Tommie. And the Polish government along with the Polish military will be only too happy to accommodate her.
Ms Nuland is not of Ukrainian descent, whatever she may claim.
She and her people are just trying to get everyone else around the world to avenge their 10th Century defeat by Kievan Rus.
All you need to know about the fate of her and her ilk can be found in Revelation. Jack Chic WAS correct.
Then the last Moldovan, Romanian, etc…..

I don’t know if they are trying to deceive the Russians somehow but if what we saw in the last few days was the long announced Ukrainian offensive then it will go down in History as one of the most inept military efforts ever. I am not triumphalist yet though. Ukrainians still have plenty of human meat that they can sacrifice and they may well be pushed to try snatch a Pyrrhic victory from the jaws of defeat, the kind of victory that the US/NATO planned for Russia to achieve.
PS: I really don’t think the West ever thought Ukraine could win a fight that is existential for Russia b/c I don’t think anyone can be that delusional.
How many more countries will the U.S. destroy? How many innocents killed? I am sickened by what this country has become and feel betrayed. Whatever happened to the mantra of staying out of foreign entanglements?
All of them.
They will kill all of them if they can.

Absolutely…. Just read the Talmud.
And yes t, call me anti-semite.
One can not be an anti-semite if those being criticised are not Semitic.
As Russia, I would wait until the Ukranians have militarily bled out. And then attack. Grand scale. All out. Until where? I hope to the Atlanic coast.
Maybe China could attack simultaniously from the east. End of NATO reign! Just dreaming.
Regarding going beyond Ukraine, I don’t think so. I think Bismarck is Putin’s model. And if he isn’t, he should be.
PS: And fortunately, there’s no Russian Wilhelm II on the horizon to sack him.
“We propose the creation of a harmonious economic community stretching from Lisbon to Vladivostok. –V. Putin, 2010, visiting Germany and Merkel.
In March, 1954, after Stalin died, Molotov proposed that the USSR join NATO. Rejected by US.
“Apparently Milley and others on the US side were very angry and demanded that the offensive continue”
If that report *is* accurate then a good candidate for the reason is that Milley et al have something big planned for the pending NATO excercise which requires the UKA military offensive to be concurrent with it. No idea what it might be but I trust the Russians are ready for it.
I checked out reddit Ukraine news and found out that the Ukrainians are winning the offensive. Huh.
Did you see the level of hopium on all “social networks” and MSM going over 9000 ? It’s cringe as hell…
Gotta wonder what is up with the upcoming oversized dog & pony show…er…training exercise.
My assumption is that it is cover for whatever dirty pool they have planned next.
They long ago replaced MAD with “decap strike” on Russia.
Why Socal? is right. What if they plan a decap strike, but moved it to enemy #1? Gotta protect “our interests” in Taiwan from big, bad China. So plan for retaliation toward west coast.
Sound insane? Well, when dealing with psychos you have to think like a psycho.
Who knows why they do anything? Nothing they do will ever make sense to sensible people. 🤷
Just imagine the stupidest, most venal, crazy, ass backwards thing a wounded animal would do when cornered.
“We’re running out of bullets!”
“SQUIRREL!!!!” 😮 👉
Hopefully they’re angry enough that Z won’t make his escape to Miami. Let Israel keep him. We have more than enough of our own garbage people.
Zelensky has lived the fantasy of acting as a great world leader and enjoys that role, now he has become a danger because of the dirty secrets he knows about Western politics, that is why they must grant him everything he asks for or one day he will appear in Russian television “singing” everything it knows about the plans against Russia as if it were in the Eurovision contest.
The moment he steps out of the line, they will grant him a bullet to the face.
I am betting David(Daoud) Coleman Headley is the next dead contestant on Supermax Death Club or Ali Mohammed. Perhaps Patrick Fitzgerald is passing out the poison pills:)
I hope Zelensky recorded that phone conversation …
Larry, reality always catches up with us on a personal basis. Pipe dreams, hopes, crushes…, they succumb to fact eventually. When one stops drinking or doing drugs for a while and suffers the withdrawal as well as the guilt and the shame, reality is more clarified and lessons are learnt through this suffering which shapes the rest of our lies.
Reality in a group setting is a different ball game. The group we’re talking about is the people at the top, the elite. Everyone of them is compromised, through drugs, illegal sex etc, they cannot escape to reality like you or I could, suicide is the only other option for them.
The madness we are living through now is the reality of our elites. Nothing makes sense anymore because our elites are totally out of control and have nothing planned except dealing with the severe damage they caused yesterday today. This constant daily fixing or trying to fix what mistakes were made the day before is the action of an alcoholic or a drug addict.
Zelensky is now the problem that won’t go away. Like the man you meet for the first time at a party or a bar when you’re wasted and stupidly give your number to, and later a few bucks to, but he keeps calling you asking for help. Finally, you gotta tell him to his face to fuck off.
Big problem for the elite now, reality, videos of burnt out nato shit is everywhere. Suicide might be the only answer for them, and unfortunately, they’ll take us with them.
Milley is angry because things aren’t working out and he and Biden are going to look like the fools that they are: evil, moronic fools!
Wow. As of today, Brian Berletic, Alexander Mercouris, Alex Christoforou, Colonel McGregor (ret), and Scott Ritter are all talking like Ukraine is already dead. Hadn’t expected that.
not fair. walking dead. Without introduction of NATO troops, they are. Walking dead. How long did it take the Nazi’s to lose in Europe? How many millions more died after it was obvious they could not win?
Why indeed is “Milley angry at Zelensky”?
One possibility – maybe even a feasible one – could lie in the objective of the so called counter offensive.
From the information available this appears to be to at least sever the land bridge to Crimea? But to what end?
Lets consider the scenario in which, from the point of view of a desirable outcome for those in Washington, London and Brussels, the much touted and long planned for UAF counter offensive succeeds in breaking through the Russian lines and cuts off that land bridge. Then what?
Do they stop and take up defensive positions or carry on all the way to Crimea? Both options seem unlikely given the paucity of reserve forces equipment and other resources necessary for either task.
And even if that was not the case the US are not exactly secretive about wanting to kick the Russians out of the Black Sea so they can occupy Churchill’s ‘soft underbelly’. Rational contingency planning would likely have a best case scenario where the Ukrainians do the dying to achieve that occupation so that NATO forces can then mop up, occupy and take the plaudits. Having the available forces already in theater on the exercise commencing tomorrow (June 12).
The worst case scenario – from the point of view of someone like Milley – would be having to achieve that politically set military objective from first base.
Perhaps Milley and his team are displacing in the knowledge they will be expected by the crazy’s from the basement to do the heavy lifting and take the casualties for the political objective?
Larry, I have deep concern on this issue. That the offensive MUST be kept going. Until the large NATO air exercises start on June 12th. And NATO strikes at Russian assets in Ukraine.
Seriously, people. I have learned to respect and care for some folks on here. Make sure the car is full of gas. Make whatever plans you can. Keep your ears and eyes open for the next few weeks.
My leaders in the US are dumb enough to blow up the world. Trust me. They really are that ignorant.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis my parents hid the family station wagon in the garage, fully stocked, fueled, and ready to go. My father was convinced that if the SHTF Philadelphia would be a first strike target. If the sirens sounded, we were going to head north to Upstate New York and my Grandparent’s. I was only eight years old in 1962, but even I stuck my head into the garage every so often. Very exciting times.
Wait until Biden goes on national television and tries to pull off a JFK, telling the Russians they have 24-hours to either leave the Ukraine and Crimea or face nuclear annihilation.
Joe Biden is no JFK. I’m living in Upstate New York. It’s all up for grabs this time around.
Curt, there is no place to run, except maybe to ground zero, which beats being trapped in the firestorm.
Yes, gas up the car, make sure groceries are well stocked. And know that whatever will happen is already going to happen. It’s already been written in everything done to this point.
Phrase: “They really are that ignorant.”

Was it difficult to draw a paralel out of British Empire -Greek relations to US-Ukraine dynamic and how that relation ended?

I suspect this is a bullshit story. Why would Zelensky talk with Milley directly? It’s not diplomatic protocol; Milley has no power to ‘give him Patriots and F-16s’. Disappointed in you Larry, your slip is showing. Tighten it up, man.
“I am fascinated by some of the news reports and pundit commentary who insist that a Ukrainian failure means that a long, stalemated war is the likely outcome. That opinion is so stupid and so divorced from reality that it beggars the mind in trying to come up with an explanation for such nonsense.”
Indeed. 2 wars – Real war on the ground where people die, and Perceived war in the media where the MIC is trouncing Russian equipment and Ukraines are winning largely due to Russian incompetence.
The Magic of this for Biden is that both Overton’s Window and Dems election prospects lie in the Perceived war, even though all realistic options lie in the Real war.
Ukraine runs out of men and equipment very soon in the Real war.
Biden wants to repeat Trump’s Afghanistan trick and leave the actual denouement to after the election. You can see why Milley is upset. At this point even the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is rooting on Ukraine in the Perceived war, and doesn’t give a dame about the Real one.
I get the feeling lately that everybody is nervous and on edge. There is definitely a case of the “jervous nerkies” going around. Seeing the dead Leopard II tank(s) and all those blown-up Bradleys did it for me. Even if they were the teched-down versions.
The Western propaganda is the thickest I’ve ever seen it.
Does the United States, NATO, the UK, and the EU escalate, and come to the rescue of the Ukrainian Martyrs? Does President Custer play out the whole 7TH Calvary schtick? If I blink, I see the Russian military as hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of very angry and pissed-off Native Americans.
If the West does go full retard, it will be with the fully teched-up Leopards and Abrams, not these sissified versions suicided in the counter-offensive. The result will be the same. The US military is based upon profits. No war was ever won on profits.
I could see China stepping in, making a point, by nonchalantly sinking the USS Ronald Reagan, now loitering off the Taiwan Strait. The message to the United States being: “Do you really want to do this?”
Actually, since everything Americans own is “Made In China” all China really has to do is suspend all trading with the United States, sit back and relax. The lifespan of “China Crap” is seven (7) years. Once everything breaks down China can declare victory.
The United States’ collective response will be: “Huh? What?” By that time Biden’s geriatric fog will have spread throughout the land. The country will trip over its own Constitution, like a sandbag left in just the right place for Biden.
Actually, I just want it to be over with. I have been entertained enough.
Ukraine becomes ‘a suitcase without a handle – both uncomfortable to carry and a pity to leave’
https://www.kp.ru/daily/27514/4776892/
Abrupt silence: What is wrong with the widely publicized Ukrainian offensive?
Why is Kyiv silent, as if it took water in its mouth
OR PAN OR GONE
Kiev has taken unprecedented measures in relation to its “counterattack”, which has been promoting and announcing for more than six months, respectively, the same amount, if not more, preparing for it and preparing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, teaching at the training grounds of European countries not only to fight, but also to do it using the transferred from NATO countries military equipment and weapons. True, these measures did not concern ensuring the secrecy of the training and security of personnel, but the information support of offensive operations. Kyiv simply forbade talking about the fact that Ukrainian troops began to advance. Already, both American and European journalists and the military are openly talking about the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in Kiev everyone is “tragically” silent, from the “cleaning lady” of Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar to Zelensky himself, and only let him whisper: “When we start,
Such a “military secret” is explained by one single reason. For Kyiv, absolutely everything is at stake in the offensive. And in this case, we are talking not only about the option when the Russian group, having defeated the advancing enemy, on the remnants of its units, will break out into the operational space on the territory controlled by Ukraine. Everything is much more serious. In case of failure of the offensive, the West, for which Nezalezhnaya is increasingly becoming a suitcase without a handle – both uncomfortable to carry and a pity to leave – intends to significantly revise its policy of supplying Ukraine and arming Kiev from its own arsenals. All “tame” Ukrainian media received a clear instruction from Zelensky’s team – not a word about the offensive, and if “someone here and there at times” suddenly dares, then immediately refute it.
Yes, of course, the main reason here is that US President Joseph Biden, who announced his second campaign for the presidency in the Oval Office of the White House, significantly worsened the starting positions of his second presidential campaign with his unbridled support for Ukraine. And in the countries of Europe, where the elections are getting closer, the leading politicians who now rule the countries while in power suddenly began to note with surprise that the population somehow, to put it mildly, does not really welcome when, instead of their interests, the authorities of Germany, France, UK, etc. satisfy “Wishlist” and requests of the Kyiv junta. And therefore, for Zelensky and his entire pack of accomplices, the question now stands exactly this way and no other way – if Ukraine succeeds in the offensive, then the West will continue to pump it up to continue the conflict with Russia. There will be no success, or, worse, the offensive will turn into a disaster for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Europe and even the United States will raise the issue of negotiations with Moscow before Kiev, and not at all on Zelensky’s terms. And they will put it in such a way that you won’t turn away.
And while events unfold in such a way that everything goes exactly to the second option.
LOSSES GIANT, LOSSES ARE NOT COUNTED
For several days of offensive battles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not achieve any success , although they tried to break through our defenses in five different directions. Only on one of them, following the results of the counterattack, within one (!) day, the Ukrainian army lost – 5 German Leopard 2 A6 and 2A4 tanks, 6 American M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA infantry fighting vehicles, 3 American MRAP M1224 MaxxPro armored personnel carriers, 1 Dutch YPR-765 armored personnel carrier , 1 Czech T-72M1 tank, 1 French VAB armored car, 11 trucks. That is, if you count on money, then Zelensky flushed down the toilet and destroyed more than 100 million US dollars worth of equipment only as a result of these battles. And this is only one day and in one direction.
A more general picture of the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during these few days of the “counterattack” was outlined by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
“In just three days of hostilities, the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 3,715 military personnel, 52 tanks, 207 armored combat vehicles, 134 vehicles, five aircraft, two helicopters, 48 field artillery pieces and 53 unmanned aerial vehicles,” the Russian defense minister said. And a few more days have passed since then, and the number of enemy equipment knocked out and destroyed, mainly, by the way, of Western origin, has increased significantly. Among the losses are the vaunted German Leopards. As it turned out, in the steppes of Zaporozhye, these representatives of the “armored cats” burn no worse than their ancestors burned there 80 years ago – “Tigers” and “Panthers” of the tankers of the Third Reich.
As Oleksandr Kots, a KP military correspondent, wrote , it was the Leopards that the Ukrainians whipped up tension for the Russians in the war zone, when the news feeds seemed to carry threats in their messages:
“The West has decided to supply Leopards to Ukraine.
“Leopards” photographed on railway platforms.
“Leopards” seen in a forest plantation.
“And, finally, the long-awaited: we burned the first Leopards!
Even rabid Russophobes like the biased German investigative journalist Julian Repke, for whom there is no God but Ukraine, and Zelensky is his prophet, noted that “in just a few days of fighting, the Russians destroyed 10% of Western deliveries of heavy weapons” of German tanks and American infantry fighting vehicles.
“MEAT GRINDER” CONTINUES
And all this defeat is complemented by confusion in the Ukrainian command and a drop in morale among the Armed Forces of Ukraine themselves. The commander of the Ukrainian troops in the main direction “Bakhmutsky butcher” is General Syrsky, who, to put it mildly, is not very liked by either soldiers or officers in the Ukrainian army. Commanders often deceive their subordinates by sending units to, as they say, “villages where there are no Russian troops,” and they are met by a barrage of fire on the march. The few heights and settlements that the Ukrainians occupy, for example, in the morning, the Russian fighters return under their control in the evening, and the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine increasingly refuse to attack. Some even hand over their weapons to the commanders and go home, becoming deserters, reproaching their own command that it is driving them to certain death, without providing any help. A significant role in this is played by the factor that the Russian grouping meets enemies in coordinating the actions of cannon artillery, MLRS, army aviation and airborne forces, leaving the enemy no way to survive, except for flight. If we also take into account that a significant part of the military equipment and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine die in minefields, which Ukrainians go to without sapper reconnaissance, then the sad result for the Armed Forces of Ukraine looks quite natural.
Ukrainian generals are silent. Zelensky is again begging for more arms supplies. American experts call the already happened losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine catastrophic for the Ukrainian army. And only the British are driving Zelensky and his soldiers forward to the slaughter – under the fire of Russian artillery, tanks, aviation and rifle units – saying that everything is going normal, and the losses are within the acceptable range.
Yes, there are still a lot of tough battles ahead, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine retain both their offensive potential and a significant part of the weapons and military equipment supplied to them. But it is already absolutely clear that the blitzkrieg with a crushing blow and access to the Crimea, as they boasted in Kyiv, and what they counted on in the West, did not work out.
Like those “trousers” in the film “The Diamond Arm” that were supposed to turn into, the Ukrainian “counter-offensive” turns, turns into a “counter-step” … into a counter-retreat.” In any case, everything goes exactly to this. What the Western masters will do with Zelensky and his accomplices after such a collapse is somehow completely uninteresting.
Larry writes:
“The Ukrainian offensive is entering its eighth day and the only things Zelensky and his generals have to show for the effort are piles of bodies and smoldering tanks and armored personnel carriers.”
In short, to the US of A, the above is a great success, in the same way that Afghanistan was a success.
In September of 2021 Michael Hudson was interviewed by Max Keiser on the second halves of two episodes of “The Keiser Report” on RT (remember Max and Stacey?).
Part 1 is here:
https://www.rt.com/shows/keiser-report/534242-zero-rates-causing-deflation/
Part 2 is here:
https://www.rt.com/shows/keiser-report/534465-security-industry-profits-attack-september11/
My favorite words from Hudson:
“… the (US) trade balance and the investment balance really isn’t the problem. Almost the entire problem with the American balance of payments like the budget deficit is the military spending. Well, regarding your question about Afghanistan, that was supposed to have cost two trillion dollars. Hardly any of this was given to Afghanistan. It was all spent in the United States. So, basically, the cause of all of that is the military industrial complex. And the military industrial complex operates on a cost-plus basis. In other words, it maximizes the cost of the weapons it produces .. like the F-35 ,,.ah and the mark-up on how much it’s able to spend. So, ah, the military industrial complex told the government two things. We need to make our profits and employ labor by building these weapons……………you have a choice. You can either drop them into the Pacific Ocean, or you can drop them into Afghanistan. So we dropped the weapons into Afghanistan. And, as far as the military is concerned, OK, we’ve already spent the money on the weapons, given the profits to Raytheon, Boeing and ah the other US companies, so it doesn’t matter what happens to them. So, they’ve left them in Afghanistan and who knows what Afghanistan is going to use them for. It certainly is not going to use the airplanes or helicopters to attack the United States. The US doesn’t care. All it cares (about) is that it paid campaign contributors … the military …. for these weapons …….. and it’s sort of a circular flow between the US government and the military producers and all of this … and the contractors and all of the generals who got rich off all of this.”
Mr. Hudson is far from the first person to have noticed that there is a relationship between government spending borrowed, printed-out-of-thin-air, “money” (money by fiat) on the military industrial complex and perpetual war (which, in order to continue, absolutely requires fiat money). George Kennan explained exactly why the US vitally needs perpetual war just a few short years before the end of the Soviet Union. What he said is even more true today.
“Were the Soviet Union to sink tomorrow under the waters of the ocean, the American military-industrial establishment would have to go on, substantially unchanged, until some other adversary could be invented. Anything else would be an unacceptable shock to the American economy.”
To drive home the true seriousness of what Kennan said decades ago, the two options that Mr. Hudson said that the war corporations offered to the US government were to “either drop them in the Pacific Ocean or you can drop them on Afghanistan”. Why didn’t “the government” choose to drop them into the Pacific, perpetually, instead of conducting perpetual wars — wars which are going to lead to all-out nuclear war that’s going to pretty much destroy civilization and could very well lead to a dog-eat-dog existence among any survivors? It didn’t choose to drop them into the Pacific Ocean because this bald-faced insanity would be noticed by everyone who had even one single functioning brain cell and they’d ask “why are you doing that?” And then some living VIP would have to say exactly what Kennan said back in the mid-1980s — that the US economy would be unacceptably shocked without that “defense” spending of fiat USD going on forever.
Perpetual war is a dystopian jobs program in a psychopathic nation. The US military literally forces other nations to accept fiat USD as payment-in-full for their REAL products and natural resources.
If China, Russia and other nations were to stop selling their natural resources and manufactured products to US consumers for freshly printed USD and instead only accept, say, gold (as final settlement), or proceed from this day forward on a strict barter system (for example, a certain weight or volume of oil for a certain weight of, say, wheat), the US’s war-based economy would collapse literally overnight.
It certainly does not help the cause of stopping the US’s behavior that investors of all types, and from many places around the world, continue to buy US treasuries and, knowingly or unknowingly, by so doing invest in US war corporations (or mutual funds and other investment vehicles that invest in either treasuries or US war corporations). Anyone who does this is enabling and actually assisting the US to continue carrying out world-wide murder. Doing so is a real crime and would be punished as such in a real court of law ……………. if any independent, omnipotent court of REAL justice still existed…….. that also had an omnipotent force to carry out it’s verdicts and sentences.
What the leaders of other nations have to finally accept is that the US is politically incapable of stopping itself. Like Nazi Germany in the mid-1930s to the end of WWII, the US is never going to stop its horrible, illegal behavior until it is stopped by outside forces. The sooner the rest of the world realizes this, and acts upon this knowledge effectively, the better. “Effectively” means to stop feeding the Great White Shark that is the US. Stop living as a shark’s pilot fish.
The dead generations will remain dead and will not speak any new words of guidance to their living descendants. Living human beings have to manage themselves…….. to live their lives of eating and sleeping and doing an absolutely amazing variety of other, vitally-unnecessary, things until they, too, die. Believers may disagree with this, but atheists will ask them, “how is humanity’s direction going so far under your particular God’s guidance?” I intend absolutely no insult to those who believe in a god. It is a purely academic question ……. that, if taken as such, will no doubt lead to some interesting, very lengthy answers. I’ll just stick with “humanity has to manage itself.” To which believers may very well reply “humanity can’t manage itself. Quite obviously, humanity needs divine guidance.” To which I would reply “all humanity has to do is follow one man-made rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”; and everything will turn out just fine. After all, if an omnipotent God simply gave an order (a single commandment) to his creations that they must follow, and they actually followed it, what better order could that god give?”
The truly sad thing is that some people actually live their lives guided by the golden rule and then along comes the Great White Shark (with its “investment opportunities” and their WMD-guaranteed rates of return). What should they do? Why, defend themselves, of course! How should they do that? Again, by not, in any way, feeding the Great White Shark! Starve it! BDS!
If you’re living in the US, quit your jobs at all the war corporations and their domestic or foreign subsidiaries. You are already suffering in its death throes, but unless your nation breaks its addiction to war, life will become much more difficult. (Yeah, I know ….the Great White Shark is politically unstoppable by those making their livings inside the body of the beast. Tens of millions of voters are not ever going to vote for candidates who promise them unemployment.)
“In short, to the US of A, the above is a great success, in the same way that Afghanistan was a success.”
Zelensky must have thought all these billions of dollars in cash and military gear was a gift. It wasn’t. The price to pay off their debts was for Zelensky to hand over the Ukraine (the whole country), to the United States. The U.S. fully expects to get paid, and if the Ukraine, the biggest deadbeat moocher in all of Europe, going all the way back to the Soviet Era, attempted to welch on its debts the U.S. would have foreclosed on the country.
Now that the Ukraine is in very real danger of being completely taken over by Russia, who is the United States supposed to collect from? Russia? Russia is just going to laugh and tell the U.S. to buzz off.
Trouble is the U.S. always gets paid. Always. Or else. That is one of the reasons all wars are known as “banker’s wars”.
“Or else” Yea sure. Good luck with that this time.
Keiser walked from RT when the SMO began.
I wonder why?
Since about the mid-80s last century, most of the American manufacturing capacity that formed the basis of the country’s post WW2 hegemony had been moved offshore (mostly to China) except for the design, manufacture and servicing of the military hardware and software, the tools of killing are still designed, produced and maintained to large extend within the US.
The companies engaged in it can be found in every one of the fifty States of the Republic, the sector employs by the broadest definition (from those companies that supply the bootlaces to the men serving in the military) over 10% of the US workforce of 160mn.
Everyone in employment has in the 401(k) the stock and shares of the companies involved in making the military gear (that’s a guess, but it would shock if it were not so, the shares of these companies the Lockheed Martins of the sector have performed better that the stock of companies in any other sector.
Could any American politician seriously argue for the curtailment of the sector’s hold on the American policy domestic or foreign if the outcome were to inevitably lead to much reduced employment, a noticeable cut in the value of individual pension plans, and above all the loss of the remuneration and benefits in kind, the sinecures of the top layer of the military companies’ management and the multiplicity of advisory boards populated by former politicians and top federal or state employees?
In one respect what the military sector turns out – the tanks, the missiles, the ammo – are no different from the manufactured cars, fridges, or foodstuff in that they have to be consumed (or amortised), a company cannot keep on producing cars or growing tomatoes then storing the stuff up forever any more than a company making military gear can manufacture and store fighter planes or boxes of ammunition without making use of them, that’s not doable, the cars as well as the fighter planes had to be used up to be replaced often by more up-to-date and more expensive models, the same goes for the military ‘perishables’ the ammo.
The one key difference between consumer gear and the military hardware and software is that the buyer of the former is the man in the street, pricing matters is important, the buyer of the military hardware is the Government, prices matter not, it’s cost plus, competition is minimal and the Treasury can either tax or borrow the cash required, just look at the recently agreed debt ceiling, it’s higher than the annual GDP.
Conflicts of any size, the bigger and the longer lasting the better, are therefore a must for the American Republic, they’re inevitable, hence the new 2022-23 $777.7bn Defence budget, bigger than the money spent on defence by the next ten countries (also roughly the same as the US Medicare budget).
Can anyone suggest how to get out of the predicament without seriously impacting employment, reducing the value of the millions of pension plans, and above all destroying the sinecures of thousands former politicians and senior federal of state employees?
@BARON
Present reality is that politicians are selected by voters every two or four years. None of these politicians are going to change absolutely anything about the election system or rules of campaign financing (bribery). Therefore, to stop the MIC and change the US’s war-based economy, antiwar candidates must somehow get elected within that very same system. If that does not happen, the US is doomed to suffer financial or nuclear destruction.
Again, for the present moment, here in reality-land, at least the number of voters who voted for Agent Orange have to somehow be enticed into voting for an anti-war candidate for POTUS and a majority of anti-war candidates running for seats in the legislative branch. That is the one and the only way that the MIC is going to go away.
But just exactly how do antiwar candidates entice millions of voters all across the 50 United In Warfare States Of America, who make their living in the MIC or its spin-offs, into voting for these anti-war candidates? That is the question, not whether “to be or not to be?” If those candidates can not somehow be elected, the US, and perhaps all the other nations of the world, are not going “to be” for much longer.
To entice those MIC etc. voters, those anti-war candidates are going to have to promise that if they are elected they are going to maintain the present DoD contract system, so that these millions of voters will not lose their jobs; but their jobs will be to produce all the great things that will improve the lives of all their fellow citizens. And by “improve” I mean that instead of making military aircraft that will in a few years end up sitting in a bone yard,
https://www.airplaneboneyards.com/davis-monthan-afb-amarg-airplane-boneyard.htm
they will make, for just a few examples, wind turbines, solar panels, bullet trains, etc. The services or electric power from these devices would not be “free”, just as the weapon systems of today are not free.
Which would millions of voters enjoy more: the benefit they receive from weapon systems, or electric power, a trip across the country in an electric-powered bullet train, etc.? How would millions of voters feel about the US becoming energy independent in very few years of spending under a slightly-altered DoD contract system?
If I were an anti-war candidate, at every speaking opportunity I would propose to millions of voters that the nation create another “Liberty Ship” program (again, under the existing DoD contract system). According to Wikipedia and other sources, Liberty Ships were the workhorses of World War II. They were built in 13 states by 15 companies in 18 shipyards. The first of 2,710 Liberty ships, the SS Patrick Henry, was launched in September 1941, after 150 days of construction. (The shipyard was built at the same time as the ship.) Under this highly automated ship-building system, the SS Robert E. Peary liberty ship was built in 4 Days 15 Hours 29 Minutes!
These were not small boats, not by a long shot. Here are some specifications.
Displacement: 14,245 long tons (14,474 t)
Length: 441 ft 6 in (134.57 m)
Beam: 56 ft 10.75 in (17.3 m)
Draft: 27 ft 9.25 in (8.5 m)
Propulsion: Two oil-fired boilers; triple-expansion steam engine; single screw, 2,500 hp (1,900 kW)
Range: 20,000 nmi (37,000 km; 23,000 mi)
Capacity: 10,856 t (10,685 long tons)
Again, in just a few years of assembly-line development, one of these vessels was assembled in only 4 Days 15 Hours 29 Minutes. Imagine such an assembly line system for relatively simple wind turbines, bullet trains, vehicles of all types, etc.
This is what anti-war candidates have to promise those millions of voters in the MIC in order to capture their votes. Unless anti-war candidates specifically propose such a detailed transition from a war-based economy to one based upon peace, they will not be elected and the US MIC’s perpetual wars will go on until the nukes start dropping. But will capitalists be as eager to increase the national debt for peace as they are for war?
Of course Mr. Putin will be watching what transpires in the US. What is he going to do if he sees a rabid anti-Russian elected president – say one who promises to force Russia and China to “come to heel” by the even-more-aggressive use of the US military power? What would YOU do?
Americans’ choice is simple. Either somehow organize / design a peace-based economy, and that right soon, or suffer nuclear devastation.
What you suggest, Ishkabibble, may indeed be the solution because something similar happened after WW2, the US industry switched form making thousands of planes, tanks and stuff to making thousands of tractors, passenger cars …
Good luck to you then, but please do it sooner than later, one doesn’t want to die slowly with the eyes bleeding.
Dear Baron
There IS a way of making it happen, and it WILL happen, when the hoi-polloi have had enough. When exactly that will be is not known to me.
Even though I’ve lived but three score years, I’ve seen enough here in America to know that when it does happen, the higher their social position, the bigger their bank accounts, the greater the enmity will be towards them. Karma…
Usually starts when you are unable to get food for three days. I guess that’s a long way off.
Um yes easy. Take the money back from people who stole it all. You think money just disappeared? Into the ether? Poof? No The owners of this country, the 1% who own all the important land and assets, are worth over 100 trillion. Commie you say? I say it’s commie to have men like Soros, and now his 37 kid, electing politicians and deciding policy for hundreds of millions of Americans
The USD global reserve currency system must be at least a top contender for the most diabolically evil scheme ever concocted. The whole world outside the US gets to pay for their own subjugation and enslavement.
Nah, the Powerpoint Rangers in the Five-Sided Fortress aren’t planning on a stalemate or a freeze. They’re banking on a long and bloody insurgency like the two they found themselves in for mos of the last two decades.
Some of the gear has no doubt gone to the black market, but some is being cached for future ops in occupied 404.
I wonder if this is a Gettysburg moment for the Ukraine? One last ditch attempt to turn the tide?
France and Britain were ready to blockade the North after the battle until Russia docked warships in New York and San Francisco.
Zelinski is playing the victim. He kept repeating that the AFU was not ready and needed more air power to conduct successfully the counter offensive. He received a clear Niet. He also pushed for NATO to take Ukraine as an emergency member. He got another Niet.. he pleaded with Ursula von Leyden for the EU membership. He got another Niet.
He is been pushed to show some kind of success on the ground not to discourage his ‘allies’ of continue to pour money and weapon to a country on artificial breathing since the SMO start.
The guy is desperate. He trusted the eu, NATO,usa promises if unconditional support and now he is squeezed by the same “friends”
Where is Boris Johnson to give him advices? Instead he got the moron Trudeau who smiled and promised just a few more millions and sanctions on Russian individuals. How pathetic! It is obvious that the west is now very anxious to save some of their réputation in front of the looming disaster . What scenario will be they find from Hollywood writers? Suicide of Zelinski after admitting defeat? A military coup in Ukraine ? A nuclear interlude? The death of Biden? What it clear is that it will take a good strategy to change the MSM mantras repeated at nausea that Russia is losing!
Now that the NATO exercises are in full swing in the Baltic Sea
Good chance might try to intervene and come to the rescue
You’re a naughty boy. How dare you put into the equation something outside the reach of the masters of the spin? Don’t you know that reality is a social construct. BTW each lie is a social construct. It takes times but the thing outside the narrative will bite the liar.
I find it interesting that Putin is increasingly referring to the Zelensky gang as the “Kiev regime” and so on, underscoring its illegitimacy. A foreshadowing of future changes in Ukrainian leadership?
The US has to declare victory and go home now. All signs indicate they’re doing that. Russia may be polite and let them save some face. We all know though.
Urgh, this is how they are going to spin it…
https://michaelmcfaul.substack.com/p/context-for-the-guessing-game-about
“No matter what happens next, Russia has already lost the war. The only question now is how badly.”
Either they are looking at a different set of facts or they are delusional. I think its a bit of both.
They can always spin it like this – no matter what happens, even if Russia occupies the entirety of Ukraine it’s crippled by sanctions and lost access to technology. In 5-10 years time it’ll become a backwater nation with no means to defend itself, so we already won.
Obviously no one would bother to fact check them in 5-10 years and even if someone does, no one would care. If people did, they’d call out Greta for saying the world would be underwater by now.
You’re right on that… getting a eerie sense of what Colonel MacGregor means when he says ideologues are in charge.
The guy McFaul errs, Sakabato, in that the fighting is far from over, it’s not Russia against Ukraine, but Russia against NATO, and so far the hurt has been felt more in the West than in Russia, the EU entered a recession, inflation throughout the Western world is high, the rate unlikely to drop any time soon, the energy cost exceeds that before the West decided to cut Russian fossil fuels off by a ratio of 4 to 1 ($8 for a billion Btu for the Russian piped gas compared to over $30 for the Europe landed American LNG).
What Putin must be waiting for is for NATO to join the fray not through a proxy as the alliance is doing now but directly, then the outcome will depend on which adversary can get more of its attacking missiles through the defensive system of the other whilst stopping all or most of the other adversary offensive missiles.
Until the American can field systems similar to or better than the S-range on the defensive side, and the Kh-47 Kinzhal and the RS-28 Sarmat on offensive part of the ledger one would be foolish to bet on the Americans to hold the upper hand. Since nobody can win the way the Allies won WW2, the ‘win’ will involve the Americans losing the top dog slot, withdrawal from Europe possibly from the Far East as well, sharing in the husbandry of the world with Russia nd China.
Hey Baron,
My concern is that there are no winners- in every fight there are people cheering on, funding the fighters and then there are the people dying in the fields.
What does it mean by defeating NATO anyway? Who fills that vacuum? Sounds like the same thing as NATO trying to defeat Russia.
Neither adversary can win, Sakabato, but it’s enough for Putin to prove that Russia cannot be beaten, that NATO for all its might cannot bring Russia to her knees, a victory identical to that in WW2 is unlikely since both parties to the contest have nukes, very probably chemical and bio weapons also.
What you reckon a reaction of the British people would be if just one nuclear bomb hit the country? Will they shout ‘let’s all die but hit Russia back’ or will they say ‘stop it, no more nukes from us to Russia if Russia stops launching nukes towards us, let’s talk’. Baron reckons the latter will the option they go for, what the governing elite could do is a puzzle.
You may have missed it, Sakabato, but one of the bloggers here summed up the rationale behind the war in Ukraine which is but only a step to fulfil the demands set up in the Wolfowitz doctrine of 1992 (google for the doctrine, it explains why the American Governing Elite has do do its best to try and destroy Russia (then China or any other possible challenger to the crumbling US hegemony):
This is what HMS Terror, the blogger said:
“They’re trying to split the China-Russia axis that threatens American supremacy. The circle-jerking echo-chamber in which they live and operate resounds of America’s decades long pre-eminence. They’ve spent their adulthood and careers marinated in it, and they’ll die embalmed in it. They’re no more aware of it than a fish knows it’s wet, and they can imagine a world where America is less than pre-eminent no more than a fish can imagine a dry life.
All that results in their conviction that they have the power to intimidate China – that the Chinese fear war even more than they fear losing Western business. Unfortunately for them, Russia & China have gamed this out. Past masters of the calculus of power, they’ve done their sums and waited patiently for the cracks in the American led West’s power to widen to the point where the entire structure is in jeopardy.
Russia’s SMO has exposed and widened the cracks further. Washington’s echo chamber never saw any need for doing their sums, and so they didn’t. The net result is that they’re consistently finding themselves either bewildered by the effects of their actions, or in denial of them.
Narratives that define a nation can live long after they’ve lost their connection to the realities that originally gave rise to them. Their death knells are heard first on the margins, like here on sonar21 but it can take a long time to filter through to a hermetically isolated centre absent a catastrophic, narrative ending event.
China & Russia, I believe are trying to avoid facilitating such an event. The repercussions are necessarily unknowable, and even if relatively benign (EG: the USSR’s collapse) will harm a great many people across the world. A harm which they would not want to be seen as responsible for going forward”.
That’s absolutely priceless, it sums up the behaviour of the current Governing Elite of the once great American Republic beautifully, the guy HMS Terror should be given the Nobel trinket for it, he’s touched with genius.
Honestly, I don’t believe any calls of any kind took place.
Just PR stuff for his cannon fodder in field… that “Zs” “making his demands”.
Yeah, no such conversations, they all know the score, did know, have known, and mass death is what they want.
More $$$ “for replacements”…
The recent 2.1 billion will never hit Ukraine in any way.
Larry,
I do not understand how NATO is able supply Ukraine with tanks, Bradley vehicles,
ammo, etc.. How does this stuff move , rail, road?
Obviously it must be tougher to track what is coming into the country than what surveillance is able to identify.
It seems it would be easier to blow up the
stuff before it is deployed to kill Russians.
I know some missile attacks happened to take some of this stuff out as reported in media.
Thanks for any input helping me to understand how the stuff gets to the front.
Red Cross helps with moving.
“How does this stuff move , rail, road?”
Mainly from rail then by road from the final depot to the front.
“It seems it would be easier to blow up the
stuff before it is deployed to kill Russians.”
They are doing that now thru destroying forward storage depots to prevent any strong buildup for the Summer Offensive. Though you need to keep in mind that a goal is to demilitarize so awaiting its arrival to front so it can be taken out there has been the overall concept until now.
Thomas
Once again, it is clear that NATO/Ukraine cannot win this war, and Russia cannot lose this war. Yet, NATO/Ukraine knows that they will no longer be a viable force and those running it – including Biden – will pay the price politically if this is the outcome. So what does it all add up to?
Nuclear war.
Someone please tell me how we avoid this (and cut the fantasy notion that the U.S./NATO will bend the knee to Russia/China).
There is not a single western leader – certainly not Biden & Co. or their British counterparts – who has said anything other than they’re sticking with Ukraine. So they’ve painted themselves into a corner. But a Russian victory cannot be spun away. Yet politically and in terms of the survival of NATO, they cannot let this happen.
Since I don’t see the possibilty of sanity and honesty breaking out in the west, nor do I see the neocons ever admitting that they were wrong, the only alternative is to go nuclear.
Are these people insane enough to go there? Are they so uncaring about human life that they would go there? Are they so drunk on power that they would go there? Are they so full of hubris that they would go there?
I see no evidence whatsoever to tell me they aren’t.
I don’t like the guy. What happens if Tucker ran for president?
I think Milley has to control his white rage better.
That’s Rainbow Milley to you!
My comments are published faster and faster. Now, I just need wait 24 hours or the next post.
Fun Fact: Milley played high school football in Massachusetts with Richard (who calls himself “Rachel”) Levine. Can’t make this stuff up !

“a Ukrainian failure means that a long, stalemated war is the likely outcome.”
True.
Any doctor can tell you that terminal failure of multiple organ systems predicts a long life of some inconvenience for the patient.
All these tanks, f16’s patriots, manpads…..etc…
The real revolution is in drones.
We are witnesses the opening stage of something different…
Where we common men can have a force that defeats air power/ground power.
Drones are open source; any working-class group of men can create launchers and drones using common factory techniques…look at those videos of Russians launching what look like mini-cessna 152’s into the air with an aluminum beam that looks like somebody scavenged it from their screened-in back porch (sorry Honey, History is calling…) the winch is off a boat trailer…the tricky part is the spring and the launching mechanism—ideas anyone?
Look at the drone itself….have you seen the duct tape? I have. I also see small air-cooled two-stroke engine from a leaf-blower or the 8 year old’s go-kart (sorry, son…history is calling) , some quick-start ether and a bunch of Russian good-ol-boys* getting-er-done…
Grouping them/ layering them / swarming them/ “autonomizing” them means that the neocons will not be able to leave their buildings.
Does a “balsa glider” show up on radar?
Swarming implies coordination, may/probably implies communication…
can light (laser/infrared..) be jammed?
Anybody know if Andrei (Why hello….that’s me again) Martyanov has thought/written about this stuff?
cordially…
*Anybody know Russian for “good-ol-boy?”
Those are Orlan-10 drones. Intentionally made to be cheap. Ukrainians have been mocking them for being shit, while dying in tens of thousands from artillery directed by them.
Thank you.

Here is a interesting video for you to watch. The American shooting community is waking up to the possibilities.
Thank you for the link. Much appreciated
I have a theory about this issue:
next week the airdefender excercise of nato will start, which includes germany, poland and romania and some other staates. So basically every state that surrounds ukraine and that is nato and ukraine-friendly.
The timing is almost perfectly aligned with the start of the ukrainian offensive. Nato can start a bunch of awacs planes without suspicision and their radars will reduce the detection range of russian air defence while they are on duty and also divert attention.
So while all these fireworks are going on – it is really easy to start some f16´s with ukraine markings from nato territory and contractors inside and let them fly low to ukrainian territories and strike high value russian targets. Put some modern longe range missiles on them and let the awacs guide the “simulated strike” to their target.
This has the advantage that skilled nato pilots could be used, instead of waiting until the ukrainians are fully trained. The coverup and deniability is also there since it was publicly announced that ukraine would receive f16´s. Also there is the benefit that russia cannot strike the airport back with balistic missiles since this would be an attack on nato.
So my guess is that the first part of the offensive was really just probing – since there are also reports that some territorial defence units were taking part in the inital offensive. This way nato can lure out high value targets and collect intelligence first. Then target russian aviation, air defence and ballistic missiles and compensate for ukraines lack of air defence and air force.
This would be very simliar to an action where a miliatry excercise was held, before a critical piece of infrastructure exploded…. just saying…..
So what milley said to zelensky could be something like that – continue the offensive you will get aircover shortly….
A lot of hypothesis I know – only time will tell.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/give-war-chance-war-even-pacifists-can-get-behind
Incredibly good article. That hits the EU on the head. With Ukraine, they thought they were actually going to be relevant. They were going to take down Russia. And be a big kid like the US! Instead of being the US’s little bitch.
And now, it is all going down. They are going to be even less relevant. Justice. Europe will now be a Third World backwater full of African immigrants held hostage with US LNG. Ah, Karma. You are such a sweet lady. Slow. But sweet.
I wonder if the US wants Ukraine to continue holding on until the NATO exercises begin in a few days, and then……
The Nato exercises were timed to be a victory lap.
It’s going to be “Clean-up in aisle five” time. Hope they’re bring lots of tow trucks.
Just read on focus .net. Kiewy Mayor Klitschko demands for more tanks from Germany.
Oh yeah. the ones they had are all broken….
He is bully that takes toys from other kids, and breaks them.
Ukranine is not doing as bad as you think. Perhaps first week was just probing like Kharkov then they got rolling once seem found… Reports coming in that the UAF have got Urozhaine and are just outside Staromlynivka. This town opens the way to Mariupol.
Lol. Like going to Tampa by way of Bangor, Maine.
“Ukranine is not doing as bad as you think.”
Yea sure. So losing 3700 men and over $100 million worth of equipment to kill 71 of the enemy is doing a good job?
They are doing so well that they haven’t reached dragon teeth yet, aka. the first line of defense. This probing makes banzai charges look like viable tactics.
They already had Mariupol, and elite troops in it, before Russia mobilized, and they messed it up. If Russians were to let them just drive into Mariupol, they would lose it again.
Two days after this post and it doesn’t look like its failing to me. Just the opposite. And remember you proclaimed the Khereson/Khrakiv offensive failed as well…
Whether the call happened, matters not.
The Ukienazi Bird is cooked along with a side order of NATO.
Next up – NATO? EU – ?
Then finally, what is the US going to look like when this Western demonic insanity is over (for the mean time)
EPIC illustration at the top of the article… had me howling.
The reality that’s settling in is that the 3rd army that NATO/Ukraine have fielded is going the way of the first two. The first two armies’ destruction was hidden by the info-fog machine, but there’s no hiding the destruction of the third. What has perhaps not yet dawned on them is that the 3rd army is being destroyed under the same “economy-of-force” doctrine as the 1st and 2nd.
Alas, there is no 4th UA army under the sofa cushions and NATO is facing its Either/Or. They have but one Hail Mary move left to save their UA project – namely, bet the farm and send in their own.
NATO won’t get close to a consensus on that, so if the West deploys any sort of forces at all it’ll necessarily be too little, and quite probably too late. By the time they get their boots on, the Russian war machine will be rolling across UA.
Instead, I think they’ll bankroll a terrorist insurgency that Russia will have to put down just as they did in Dagestan and Chechnia, and in Ukraine itself in the 1940s & ’50s. With luck, the political turmoil that will spin off of this fiasco will take the West’s eye off the ball and the Russians will be able to make relatively short work of the insurgents.
“With luck…”
Like los(t) Miristas/terroristas?
Spot on, HMS Terror.
Also, will you please forgive Baron he’s been inserting your earlier posting into the UK Spectator when it’s appropriate, the posting that goes “they’re trying to split the China-Russia axis that threatens American supremacy. The circle-jerking echo-chamber in which they live and operate resounds of America’s decades long pre-eminence. They’ve spent their adulthood and careers marinated in it, and they’ll die embalmed in it. They’re no more aware of it than a fish knows it’s wet …..”, but always attributing it to your full moniker HMS Terror.
If you object Baron will stop doing it, but the quote is priceless not only because of its content, but also because of the way it’s wrapped up in language.
Thank you for your very kind words, though I think you’re overstating the case. Be that as it may, I’m flattered.
Got it, HMS T, stay safe, but keep hitting them, they fully deserve to get hit.
