One day you’ll wake to the realization that:
America’s primary motivation in this entire conflict was USNATO’s wet dream that it would evict Russia from Crimea and turn the Black Sea into a USNATO lake. Did you ever wonder why Georgia and Ukraine were the NATO chef’s special of the day? Other than the transparent m.o. and the multitude of western policy papers, look at a map for God’s sake.
Saakashvili tried it and failed. Yushchenko tried it and failed. Maidan was the followthrough – AND they knew damn well it would lead to Crimea’s repatriation (and potential for war to follow). Putin himself said so in no uncertain terms prior to 2014. “Ukraine (de facto or de jure) in NATO, Crimean repatriation to follow.” This was indeed a war of choice. The West’s choice.
Barbara, how about you learn a thing or two about Vatican’s Concordat with Hitler? Both were such rabid anticommunists that suggesting either as a source of information on Stalin is utterly ludicrous!
Along the same theme, the Vatican had a nice concordant with Stepinac, the Croatian archbishop complicit in genocide too.

Really good Gaggle.
Predictions are hard. Especially about the future.
Sudden collapse is certainly a possibility, and the build up in Belarus may be there at least in part to block Poland / NATO in case UKR does collapse.
Discussion was very good at dealing with 1) military inside UKR and 2) politics / economics outside UKR
Would suggest that there is no full solution available to Russia within UKR borders. Indeed there may be no full solution available. Russia didn’t choose to fight or even really choose the moment. Hands-down victories against a 30-nation globe-spanning empire (short of nuke war) are perhaps an unrealistic ask.
The slow grind–at least for another year–may be preferable to Russia:
1) keep below nuke threshold–commitment w/ China to usher in a new global regime doing everything possible to prevent a world war
2) demonstrate to a generation of Europeans that one can never claim that Russian security concerns can be disregarded.
3) material immiseration of Europe–deindustrialization of one of the major industrial bases of Russia’s enemies.
4) potential regime changes in Europe. End of EU, end of NATO, or reduction of both to hardcore factions.
5) acceleration of de-globalization, multipolarity: end of metro-dollar, great reduction in $$ as reserve currency, consequent increase in interest rates to defend Treasuries, loss of safe haven for Global Majority’s capital savings, potential Global South debt strike
If that’s not a clean win, that may be the best RF can do. Which is not nuthin’

VERY good analysis. Russia wins. Period. But they have to be careful of what they win. You want Eastern Ukraine that is full of Ukrainians (not Russians) that has no assets? Most of the oil and gas fields are in the West. I think Russia grinds Europe and the US military to death over a year or so. They take Kharkiv, have a Dnieper defensive line, and get Odessa. Which gives them a land bridge to Transnistria. And most importantly, completely destroy the Ukrainian Army. The West keeps the financial blackhole of Kiev. And as you astutely point out, massive regime changes all thru the EU as their economies crumble. That is the win. And at some point, the USA will flail out at the NEXT proxy war and start something over Taiwan. And that is when we see if the Evil Empire dies a slow or fast death.
Drake Schroeder says
My understanding is that most of the ag, mineral and energy resources are in areas of Eastern Ukraine that the Russians are almost certain to occupy.
The current EU and USA leaders are not the types to admit they were wrong and change course, regardless if it results in the collapse of their countries economy and social cohesion.
Its looks like the predictions of needing two winters of scarcity for EU/Europe to come to a conclusion on Ukraine/NATO are going to come about. There is no sense for RU to conquer Ukraine while EU/NATO is cannibalising itself…..

Larry was the politician you were referring to name rhyme with Mute Sandwich??
On the question of what will happen next, I’m afraid Larry and Peter underestimate the depth of irrational enmity and fear that motivates Western institutions, particularly former Soviet bloc countries, expat Russian Jews (neocons) in the US and UK, and apparatchiks under the latter’s influence. I believe you are correct in your analysis of the military dimension but apparently do not grasp the West’s capability for terrorism which will increasingly afflict Russia and its newly incorporated territories in the Ukraine, no matter how diligently Russian leaders work to purge infiltrators and saboteurs. That dimension of war evaded the US Military in many of its adventures such as in Iraq, but the West has learned how to incorporate this dirty type of violence along with other tactics like propaganda and color revolutions and bribery into its clandestine operations. As long as there is nearly unlimited money to pay operatives and bribe leaders, this will continue to be a dangerous force working against the RF, and Putin won’t always be there as the president to recognize them and root them out. Only the collapse of the enormously wealthy and powerful Western economic system, including the RoW decisively turning against the banker elites, could enable Russia and China to prevent outside efforts to control their resources and to maintain their sovereignty. Although that seems to be the recent trend, it remains an open question in the long run whether the newly formed Eastern institutions can withstand the onslaught of Western economic and political pressures, which are also exerted against a broad range of trading partners in the Global South.

Not to mention how it has and will continue to afflict the west itself. This is how these creeps operate – keep our own populations in a perpetual state of fear so that they won’t question authority. From the Cold War to Covid, it’s all a giant PSYOP.

You wonder how long the USA can continue to fund this?? As long as the arms manufacturers are funding congress and as long as the USA continues to print the ( perhaps for while longer yet)global reserve currency. If it wasn’t for that presidents would have to beg congress for tax increases to fund wars. Putin, Xe ,Modi and all the leaders of the global south know this. That’s the reason they’ve launched an effort to replace the US dollar as the global reserve currency.
The entire setup in the West will only change if the whole system changes. At the moment it is self-supporting.
Democracies work initially through elections. However you can only vote for the choice presented to the electorate. Unless you can change the choices you get no change. Propaganda does the rest. If some unrest does get to the streets in goes your riot squad.
The last example for this was the EU election. Candidates from established parties only, mostly unknown or culled from individual countries parties, main criteria uselessness.
Von der Leyen and Co. put into position due to the influence of individual nations and not elected by the parliament. This should have changed this time round but the old system won. Much to the disgust of the electorate around Europe.
As long as such things go on there will be no change. Breaking-up this party system is the first step to get change. What we have now is not the democracy we are presented with at school.
Juan Valdez says
I believe the only approach that might effect change is mass civil disobedience. This would have to include members of the police forces. Once the “elite” can no longer hide behind men with guns, they’re finished and we can get about the business of rebuilding.
When they can no longer hide behind men with guns it’s a military coup. For better or worse.

Excellent chat with you and Peter, but George simply isn’t conversant in the decline of the U.S. ability to respond once this is over. He thinks the U.S. is going to continue as they have after this is done. The combined West is going to be flushed when this is finished, energy, food, inflation, their industry flat out of gas, so to speak. My hope is that the elites in Europe won’t have energy to keep THEIR homes warm. Whatever rump is left won’t be a threat ever again. So, more Peter and Larry, less George. How George thinks this thing continues after Ukraine is finished off via the U.S. is beyond me. The theory ignores we have no industrial capacity or dough to carry Lockheed Martin and Raytheon through another round. All we/they can do is what happens next. It’s going to be a long long war – illuminating interview with Russian General responsible for 100km of front …….
We are not opposed by the Ukrainian army »: Kadyrov’s assistant Apti Alaudinov in an interview with RT — on the fight against NATO and the course of the SVO
During the special operation, Russia is fighting NATO, and not Ukraine, said Assistant to the Head of Chechnya and Special Forces Commander « Akhmat » Apti Alaudinov in an interview with RT Arabic military commander Sargon Haday. According to him, without the support of the United States and Europe, Ukrainian armed groups will not last a day against the Russian armed forces. He also pointed out that the Russian military is much better physically and psychologically prepared for warfare than militants from Western countries.
— According to intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson, transfer their forces and equipment to this direction. How serious is this now?
— What they could transfer to our site, they have already thrown. I want to note: we felt that a very large amount of technology and manpower was thrown. And, of course, most of this technique and manpower have already been destroyed by us. For literally three weeks, we destroyed about 50 tanks and the same amount of armored vehicles.
That is, we got the following picture: the transfer by Ukrainian formations of their manpower and equipment to our — site for us, on the contrary, it benefited. Because we have an active opportunity to destroy the maximum amount of this all. Today we clearly orient ourselves where the enemy has what. For ourselves, we are ready to reflect any counteroffensive action. But we do not let the enemy make decisions and move in our direction, because daily we ourselves move forward.
— We hear very often about foreign mercenaries — Poles, Americans, British and others. Is there any data on numbers? And anyway, what are they doing here — unlike the APU?
— It is necessary to tell the truth about foreign mercenaries.
I believe that there are no foreign mercenaries on our site. What is called « foreign mercenaries », — are representatives of the troops, representatives of the NATO bloc states that are opposed to Russia today.
Because we must understand that the high-precision equipment that is transferred by the same NATO bloc here so that it is used by Ukrainian units against Russia cannot be studied in one day.
The equipment is being transferred, and along with the equipment, specialists who are representatives of the NATO bloc troops are transferred. Therefore, there is already a clear picture for us. We understand that both Ukrainian formations and the NATO bloc itself can do absolutely nothing to oppose our formations and units. Yes, all this economy was abandoned against us with all these specialists who spoke different languages of the world. But they were calmly ground by us and sent mostly from here by cargo 200, and the remaining — cargo 300. It doesn’t matter to us what nationality the enemy is opposed to us. Most importantly, we clearly know for ourselves what we should do with it.
— So we are fighting with NATO, in fact?
— The fact that we are fighting with the NATO bloc probably does not even need to be explained to anyone. Because any sane person, if he looks at the situation that is happening today, should perfectly understand that the same, say, HIMARS shelling… After all, the HIMARS rocket itself — is just an ordinary piece of iron. But if it is adjusted precisely by GPS ( navigation systems that are the property of America ), then this is already a weapon that is high-precision. All these shelling, all these terrorist acts, all these technical innovations — this is all the use of the forces and means of the NATO bloc.
— How is this special operation different from classical wars? We see very large batteries using artillery. You just mentioned GPS, and there are also drones.
— There has never been such an intensity of artillery duel. There have never been such a number of shells fired at one site of the territory. Naturally, it should be noted the use of a very large number of high-tech tools.
In fact, we understand that if earlier humanity started with copies, bows and arrows, today the role of man is slowly no longer important. Yes, we need a drone operator, yes, we need a person who knows how to use high-tech weapons. But man himself directly at the forefront is already of minimal importance.
— It’s almost mid-December, winter. Very different opinions about the activity of hostilities. Someone says: « We are waiting for frosts ». Someone says: « No, we are waiting for spring ». What is the role of the weather in hostilities?
— For us, as specialists, it does not matter what the weather is on the street. We are ready to fight all four seasons — for any dirt, for any frost. Because we are very well equipped. I can note that such equipment, such food, such uniforms for all occasions, as we probably do not have anyone. Therefore, those states that are not ready for such frosts begin to analyze this situation in the format of weather, frost, and dirt. It doesn’t matter to us.
— Are there any difficulties in terms of life, ammunition, weapons? Still, everything is not perfect.
— Everything is not perfect. Everything is perfect and cannot be. Everything will not be perfect, even if there is summer, heat + 40 ° C. The point is not what conditions are given to us by the Almighty. It all lies in how much we ourselves are internally prepared for these situations. And we are ready for any turn of events.
Yes, if you try, say, on a large scale, naturally, tanks, equipment will be stuck, because dirt. But that is the military strategy to calculate the conditions and capabilities of their technology and directly human. Somewhere to sit and cry, that there is dirt on the street, so I can’t go, — this is one picture. Somewhere to sit and cry, which is cold outside, — is the second picture. Another thing is when we predict in advance that there will be a dirt season or a frost season, and we are preparing our units for warfare in the conditions that we expect, we forecast.
— How is coordination between the Allied forces carried out? Between the special forces, the army, the PMC « Wagner », who also work here. The media is talking about disagreements. How can you rate this?
— I would not say that we have any disagreements with anyone at all. We even had a kind of symbiosis with the 2nd Army Corps of the Luhansk People’s Republic: we have already become a single organism. We have been keeping up with each other for a long time.
We have the last one and a half to two months located PMC « Wagner ». These are working guys who are very professional in doing their job. We feel like two very close units. Because they are aimed at working, and we are aimed at working. Each of us is busy with our own business. Which gives a very good result.
It should be noted that a very clear interaction has been established between all departments. This is precisely the result of the fact that we have already completely managed to orient ourselves who is responsible for which site, who can take on what exactly cannot be left to another unit. Therefore, I believe that these issues are already in the past. Even if there were any misunderstandings between some units before, today it is already in the past.
— Is it possible to talk about any promotion dates? At least about the terms of the liberation of LPR and DPR, Zaporozhye, Kherson region, which are already part of the Russian Federation?
— Some people have a habit: if somewhere the enemy comes — everyone rushes into a panic on this side and says: « That’s it, here the opponent went, we can’t stop him! Ay-ah-ah, oh-oh-oh! » No. The enemy will advance — in our direction and we will advance in the direction of the enemy until the fracture itself occurs. A fracture will occur when the enemy’s resources and our resources… At a certain period of time, a clear understanding should come for us, whose resource turned out to be longer, who turned out to be more hardy. Whose resource was better calculated. Who could better develop an additional resource by the time when a certain part of our forces and assets had already waned. These are all the subtleties of — they will ultimately decide which of us will win.
And not that someone there was some kind of piece of land from someone he won off or, as they say, freed. That is not the point. The essence of — which of us is better prepared psychologically.
Psychologically, we are much better prepared because we are ready to go to the end. It doesn’t matter what form this conflict takes: even if it turned into a nuclear war, we are ready to go all the way. But the question is whether Europe is ready to go this way to the end, is America and their armies ready to go all the way, which, if they don’t bring beer on Friday, they sit down and pour tears that they did not bring beer.
Our army — is an army that is tempered so that we can not eat or drink. We can fight this way. We may not eat or drink, but because of this we will not leave our position, we will not run away and cry. But the question is: can Americans and Europeans fight like this? A very specific answer will be. Can not. We know that. Because they are psychologically very weak people.
— What does this conflict mean strategically for the Russian army?
— This is a decisive factor for the state of Russia itself. Today the question is whether the state of Russia will continue on the world stage. Today, fate is decided. When we say « Satanism » and « God’s values »… Note that a very large connection is obtained between Russia directly and God’s values — and Satanism, which today completely absorbed all European states and America.
Today there is a war between good and evil, between the army of God and the army of the devil. Naturally, strategically, we must put the Russian state — and the rest of the states that today go under the flags of LGBT people on the same scale.
So answer yourself. Strategically, — to be or not to be — is the question that today stands before the state of Russia, the Russian army and armed groups. And today we are standing in a position that says: Russia to be! Nothing in this world can break our will to what Russia will be. There will be God’s values. And that army, which follows the paths of Satan, lives according to his commandments, under the flags of LGBT people, — it will lose. I think this is a full answer.
— Is it worth expecting a New Year’s gift in the near future, some surprises?
— I will say so. In order to make New Year’s gifts — we are not Santa Claus. But we do our work, we do it daily.
The leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the leadership of the Russian state and, first of all, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief set the task for us in such a way that we do our work in such a way that our fighters do not die in droves. For us, task number one — saving the lives of our fighters. We have no hurry. Why? Because, I repeat, the army is not opposed to us by the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian army today — if because of its back to remove America and Europe — is not enough even for one day against us. A total NATO bloc confronts us.
And we must understand that to make some kind of sharp jerk when the NATO bloc confronts us, to get somewhere, to destroy this number of our fighters ( when we know, that we must pull this conflict for the long term and win the endurance ), — we do not need such hasty decisions.
Therefore, in the end there will be one big gift — it will be a victory for Russia. But there is no need to make small gifts at the current stages.
Wow! Thanks for posting this. Very good indication of what real people on the ground are thinking.
“….they are psychologically very weak people.”
This is Russia’s greatest advantage, and the Shaitan’s biggest disadvantage.
Westerners are weak minded, no intestinal fortitude as my father was fond of saying when talking about weak people.
Who remembers the UK soldiers and their families whining in the media about their family members being sent to to die in Iraq (war II)?
They were quite ok playing weekend warrior in times of no conflict but when sent to a real warzone (which was nothing compared to what they face in Ukraine and West Russia) they all of a sudden didn’t want to play.
And among civilians this same weakness of character can be observed with the lines of weak minded gullible sheep lining up outside clot shot shops, shuffling to their doom, not even pausing when paramedics emerge from the buildings with dead or injured.
The “West” is doomed and I for one can’t wait to see the final act.
The West went from worshiping Christ over the last 70 years to worshiping Moloch.
Oblomovka daydream says
Komsomolskaya Pravda used to be a newspaper that addressed young people (from the Communist party). In the internet era it retained this target group, but without the Communist crap. Today an article appeared about the Patriot air defense system:
Will deliveries of Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine affect the course of the special operation and how Russia can respond
The United States is increasing its involvement in the conflict to a dangerous level, says political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev
News from Washington: The US may announce this week that it is sending Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine. This was reported by the television company CNN, referring to high-ranking representatives of the US authorities (without disclosing names).
Plans for this delivery are supposedly ready, but they still have to be approved by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, and US President Joe Biden.
Many readers of “KP” have questions.
We answer them.
1. How can missile defense systems be delivered to Ukraine?
First, they will most likely be delivered on US C-130 military transport aircraft to one of the 3 American air bases in Germany – Ramstein, Spangdalem or Büchel. The Ukrainian military will also arrive there for training. American specialists have to “train” them for several months, since this technique is very complicated. The “course” will end with real live shooting at the target. Our experts believe that even in six months it is difficult to thoroughly master the Patriot. Therefore, most likely, “teachers and students” will cross to Ukraine together. Through Poland. As was the case with the crews of the American M777 howitzers and Hymars multiple launch rocket systems.
2. How much will Patriot give in pieces?
This is not yet clear. Perhaps (for starters) 3 batteries.
A typical Patriot battery includes: 8 launchers (each with 4 missiles), a radar, a control station, an antenna mast and repair groups, and a power plant. And there is also a transport-loading machine. In general, an impressive “brood” of technology is being recruited. And the personnel in the battery – under 100 people.
3. What are the possibilities of this technique?
The Americans, of course, choke on the praise of their weapons – they consider the Patriot the most effective defense against ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as from some types of combat aircraft.
There are different options for complexes with a firing range of 30 to 120 km. Target detection range – 180 km.
(For comparison: the target detection range of the Patriot’s main competitor – the Russian S-400 complex – is 500-600 km, the range of destruction is 400 km).
Our experts are much more restrained in their assessments: yes, the Patriot is a serious weapon, but it also has drawbacks.
Here they are:
The radar station does not have a circular view. Only in the direction of the expected threat. Already on this shortcoming it would be possible to put an end to it, since any approach of a rocket or aircraft, a drone from the flank or from behind will remain invisible to the Patriot.
The field of view is only 90 degrees. That means the other 270 are a dead zone. The minimum height of targets captured by radars is 30 meters. While modern cruise missiles can fly at a height and 20 meters from the ground. Not to mention kamikaze drones that can fly at a height of 10 meters.
The Patriot radar cannot track targets at speeds less than 30 meters per second. This means that low-speed drones, including artisanal ones, remain invisible.
The American Patriot was already heavily embarrassed in Saudi Arabia in 2019 when local Houthi rebels attacked oil plants. These enterprises protected American missile defense systems. And they did not save the Saudi factories from the Houthi missiles. They didn’t even react!
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo then stated that the missile defense system, which included the Patriot, could not repel the strike, since all such systems (attention!!!) “work with varying degrees of success.”
4. How can the appearance of a miracle missile defense system affect the course of the special operation?
If the Patriot is not around the cities of Ukraine (although, logically, 3 or even 10 batteries will have to be placed near Kyiv, large headquarters and military factories), but on the battlefield, this may create some problems. The American missile defense system will, as best it can, counteract Russian aviation. This means that our aircraft will have to stay away from the affected area. As for drones, when attacking a “flock” on a Patriot, its radar begins to choke. But the “Caliber” and “Daggers” with their crazy speed are not at all tough for an American.
But even with all this, the “Patriot factor” cannot be underestimated. In any case, its appearance will not weaken, but strengthen the air defense of Ukraine.
5. Can we destroy the Patriot?
First of all, of course, our intelligence should know the places of unloading and the routes of transportation of the American missile defense system in Ukraine. Then it is very easy to cover such a target with a hypersonic missile. Well, if it does not work out, you will have to “calibrate” the Patriot in position.
6. How might Patriot shipments affect US-Russian relations?
Well-known political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev answered this question as follows: “Sending such weapons would mean the involvement of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine at a new level. This is a dangerous sign.”
And the “new level” is the appearance in Ukraine of large full-time combat units of the US Army. After all, to maintain the Patriot complexes, not only security guards and drivers are needed, which can be quickly recruited from Ukrainians, but also experienced military experts, which means Americans. They may not return home alive…
According to this article the Patriot system is blind (having no circular radar) for attacks from the flanks or from the back. This defect seems serious in the modern war theatre, where drones & cruise missiles are being sent on purpose from a direction whereof the enemy no threat is to be expected. The fire range of the Patriot: 30-120 km seems medieval compared with the 400 km of the Russian air defense system S400. Again the result of the force measurement between these rival systems will be the real battlefield test that will draw the interest of potential customers for such air defense systems. When even the Patriot will suffer a showdown, this will seriously have consequences for the US reputation on this market.
Jim Christian says
Patriots didn’t work against SCUDS, as soon as they turn on their radars, they’ll be destroyed. Ukie-kids turn on their phones to call home and immediately, the shooting starts. This isn’t going to take as long as some folks think, once it starts. The West doesn’t have the horsepower the elites think.
The Patriots used against SCUDs were not designed for missiles. The fact they hit any shows the radar and software are good. The newer Patriot missiles are designed for missiles, having data link and thrust vectoring. The Patriot is not going to change the outcome of the Russian victory, but don’t go too far the other way.
The new ones have been terrible in Saudi Arabia and Iraq. They didn’t even bother firing on the Iranian missiles that flew over the Erbil air base and US consulate to hit a CIA/Mossad station.
In KSA they’ve had a bad track record against Houthi drones and a well documented track record of Ukrainian style misfires into the ground.
They’re not terrible, but they’ve never been particularly successful in any mission where they were tested and they’ve never been tested against anything like a peer adversary.
Eric Newhill says
Watching right now with my morning coffee. Great chat, clear, chock full of information and smart thinking.
A huge problem with Patriots. They are designed for use against ballistic missiles (pac-3). In order to work well against cruise missiles, they need an AWACs, like the US provides to Saudi. The US is not going to fly an AWACs over Ukraine, and without that, they are marginal against sub sonic low flying cruise missiles, and poor against supersonic cruise missiles. They can’t hit a hypersonic.
I could see them setting up one battery around Lvov, and flying an AWACs along the border. That would work against the KH-101 and Kalibre in the Lvov zone, but have basically zero impact on the war.
And as soon as they turn on that big radar, the Russians will know its exact position and can hit it with a Dagger if they choose.
just saying says
AWACS have been flying all the time. They aren’t even trying to hide that NATO is active participant in this war.
Thanks for the link. I like how the potential threat of the RF using tactical nukes, and/or in conjuction with, chemical and biological weapons attacks, were worked – oh so subltly! – into the conversation, as if the prevocative AWACS flights were necessary to prevent the Russians from considering such dastardly ideas.
A map of Nato ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaisance) flights taking place just outside Ukraine airspace. From earlier in the war I think, but still relevant, as it gives one the impression that Nato might be more heavily involved in this conflict than they’re letting on.
The Russians are under a lot of pressure. I can’t stress it enough, they are conducting this slow and methodical SMO while surrounded by America first strike nuclear warheads, perhaps as many as 2,000 of them.
And although the US does not have hypersonic missiles, they do have missiles that fly at hypersonic speeds. American sub-launced Tridents hit Mach 18 two minutes after launch, and the warheads these missiles release descend at Mach 24 in their terminal phase.
And more than a few American ballistic missile submarines, the ones that carry the Tridents, are sitting right off Russia’s coast, in the various Arctic Seas, which means the folks in the Kremlin, who are attempting to demilitarized the whole Western world with old timey artillery barrages, in matter of a minute or two might have to rethink the true value of an artillery shell in an existential war to the death.
And that’s all time they will have for consideration. Two minutes, tops.
Transitioning from small puffs of smoke to thermonuclear mushroom clouds, that’s what I think of when I hear such words as “escallation” being bandied about.
just saying says
Russians are conducting this slow and methodical in order to prevent some kind of Pearl Harbor moment. Zelensky & co. are trying to create one. They fail to understand that they are disposable.
USA generals know that launching a single nuke at Russia would be the end of them. They don’t care about lives of others, but they do care about their own asses. Russians don’t have their nukes aimed at Kiev, but at Washington, London, etc. All of those nukes will be launched automatically if needed.
The whole nuclear threat talk in The West is just another tool to manipulate the masses, just like virus threats, terrorist threats, economic threats, etc. Nukes should be the least of your worries.

From today’s New York Times:
An Alternate Reality: How Russia’s State TV Spins the Ukraine War
Leaked emails detail how Russia’s biggest state broadcaster, working with the nation’s security services, mined right-wing American news and Chinese media to craft a narrative that Moscow was winning.
As I previously wrote, when it can no longer be hidden that Ukraine is lost, the MSM will just drop it from the news, as they did with “Russiagate” and the Covid hysteria.

That was an awesome meet-up. I love Gaggle esp the guy who lives in Russia. You contiually bring sanity to the conversation.
Larry, you listed the names of some of the kids/relatives of US politicians who worked in Ukraine, it would make a very interesting article if you could elaborate on that as the extent of US political links are other than Hunter Biden unclear.
It would also be interesting to understand the scale US commercial interests, land for Monsanto, Cargill owning port, oil and gas assets the US had in Ukraine.
The UK I know in London was a slave holding place of Ukranian women and it was one of the main human trafficking centres for not just 100’s but tens of thousands of Ukranian girls and women. Not just in dodgy areas but they were held in some of the most expensive addresses.
The ugliness of this exploitation by the West is rarely touched on or properly understood. It is important to understand as the people behind it still represent a threat to everyone.
Likewise when you follow the money and links to transgender madness, it comes back to a handful of people literally pumping billions to change laws and brainwash and punish, largely US billionaires and Google, all heavily invested in the sex change drugs, ops, transplanting womb into males now technically possible.
There is an entire system set up from idea to funding to exploitation and control that is simply being moved from issue to issue. The state capture of the political class within this system is absolute in the West with the exception a few, of eg Hungary which holds traditional values.
The West went from worshiping Christ over the last 70 years to worshiping Moloch.

Larry, what an excellent discussion. Thank you for participating in this with George Szamuely and Peter Lavelle.
great discussion. i hope the nuke word isn’t mentioned bc our govt. knows that most of the world will turn on them, even if they try to frame russia.
Just watched the “Gaggle” and was fascinated by the discussion. Information not available anywhere else.
Maybe this US created disaster will bring reform in the US but I doubt it, because the moral rot runs too deep and until we end the illegal Fed and the corruption on Wall Street, we can’t end the massive centralized fraud imposed by DC. We need to go back to a government based on the Articles of Confederation. The Constitution has failed and brought us to bankruptcy and the theft of $75 trillion from the bottom 80% of American workers since 1970.
