Several former military and intelligence professionals have contacted me and voiced similar doubts about the pat story being circulated regarding National Guard Airman Jack Texeira and the allegations that he removed TOP SECRET documents from a SCIF, photographed them and then posted them to a gamer chat. They all agree, something is not right. The media account does not make sense.
The biggest oddity are the two two separate documents from the CIA’s Operations Center. Neither are complete and both deal only with the Ukrainian/Russian war. To reiterate a point from my previous article, that CIA Operations Center produces two daily reports — one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It is not a “Community” product, i.e., it is not distributed to the other intelligence agencies. It is an internal CIA document (of course, it is available to the Director of National Intelligence).
Texeira’s alleged possession of two separate reports is doubly odd because he did not copy the full reports. The one dated 1 March 2023 only shows 3 of 8 pages. If he was taking the documents to impress the youngsters on the gamer chat, why did he not take the whole enchilada? And why did he only publish the portions of the intel report that dealt exclusively with Ukraine and Russia?
There has been some media reports that he also posted a State Department EXDIS cable. I have not seen it and cannot confirm that it exists. If it does, that would be another huge red flag. EXDIS is bureaucratic speak for EXCLUSIVE DISSEMINATION. It has a cousin, NODIS — i.e., NO DISTRIBUTION. The U.S. military does not have access to such cables.
There was a time when State EXDIS was available to U.S. military commands on a restricted basis. That was pre-Chelsea Manning. After Manning’s leaks in 2010, that access was cut off. I know this first hand because I was part of a team scripting military exercises for all U.S. regional commands (i.e., EUCOM, NORTHCOM, AFRICOM, PACOM, CENTCOM and SOUTHCOM) during the course of a year. I was the State Department Subject Matter Expert. That means I had the job of creating cable traffic from the Secretary of State or U.S. Embassies that the U.S. military might see during a terrorist crisis. Prior to the Manning/Wikileaks leak, I had full access to State Department messages, including EXDIS. After Manning, that access was terminated. Not just for me but for all the uniformed personnel I worked with. All held TS SCI clearances. There has been no change in that policy, which means there is no way that Jack Texeira would have had any access to copy and take a State Department EXDIS message.
Another curiosity with the story, apart from Jack’s youth and the claim that he held TS SCI clearances and had access to CIA internal reports, is the schedule of his Massachusetts Air National Guard unit. That outfit had not been called up and assigned a 24 x 7 mission. Instead, the Air National Guard unit meets one weekend a month. In other words, Jack had to work his magic over a two or three day period surrounded by peers and those in command of the unit. You do not just show up and pursue your own interests. There are drills and assigned work, which is supervised by Non-Commissioned Officers (i.e., Sergeants) and Officers.
The documents I have seen posted on Twitter and Telegram, were dated 28 February, 1 March and 2 March, i.e., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. According to the MI-6 funded Bellingcat, those documents were published on 4 March, a Saturday. Let’s assume that Texeira’s National Guard unit assembled for drill on March 4. We’re asked to believe that Jack Texeira showed up for monthly Air National Guard duty on Saturday, quickly scoured the high side computer for sensitive documents, printed them off, smuggled them out of the SCIF, returned home sometime after 5 pm (normal end of duty day), photographed the documents and quickly uploaded them to the Discord server. If that is what happened, it smacks of urgency. Most young airmen, after a long day at work, want to go out and party rather than stay at home photographing documents.
I remain skeptical of the narrative and hope by raising these questions that some genuine journalists will explore the oddities and try to get to the ground truth.
Just a side remark, the young man’s surname is Teixeira, not Texeira, of obvious Portuguese origen.
Carlton Meyer says
Just a side remark, origen is spelled origin. Even the spellchecker provided here shows this error.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. LOL But thanks, I wondered where that surname came from.
Just a side remark, there is no spellchecker provided here. It’s in your browser.

What’s the dif.? It’s all stolen from Latin or Greek and abused by some anglo-saxon priests into their version of a ‘rules-based order’ anyway.
It might be Portuguese indeed, but my money would be on Galician (the Spanish region right north of Portugal). Their regional language, Galician, is closely related to Portuguese, and they have several towns named “Teixeira” (which would translate as “Yewfield”). Galicians have been traditionally subject of mass migrations, and you can find them all around the world.
He is a descendant of Portuguese from the Azores islands in the Atlantic ocean. Third generation of emigrants, probably is ancestors came to the US with the 1958, Azorean Refugee Act, after the Capelinhos volcano eruption.
Galicians have been traditionally subject of mass migrations, and you can find them all around the world.
Just not the Ukrainian Galicians. Please, spare the world.
BTW: did y’all here about how the NAFO founder turned out to be some Polish Hitler groupie named Kamil Dyszewski who now says he was just fooling around with all his genocidal HH posts?
Old news but it was news to me.

Boston hosts the biggest Portuguese diaspora in the US I think and he’s from Mass. Somebody give me odds.
It does, many also came over in the 70’s and early 80’s from the Azores and mainland, I believe domestic politics and the economy drove this migration, and many already had family in Mass. Huge amount from the Azores.

Tristão Vaz Teixeira (1395 –1480) was a Portuguese navigator and explorer who, together with João Gonçalves Zarco and Bartolomeu Perestrelo, was the official discoverer and one of the first settlers of the archipelago of Madeira (1419–1420).
True. That was my first thought too. I made a search of the surname on Facebook and the it showed more Portuguese (and Brazilian[though there is a huge Galician contingent also in Brazil]) accounts than Galician.
Two American icons with Galician roots: Martin Sheen and Jerry Garcia.

Just a heads up, Mass has the second largest Portuguese community in the America, only slightly behind Calf. A large portion of that population is focused in southeast Mass, the Fall River and New Bedford area, were he lives. I mean there almost all Portuguese or your married to one. Also Cambridge and Lowell areas, but that gets less over time as people move out.
Good analysis. The more we find out, the more fishy it smells.

Let’s see if anyone else is arrested. I don’t care about his clearance so much, but the “need to know” access. If an E-3 reservist had access to such documents, a senior commissioned officer allowed this leak. If he is tech admin, why are weekend non-college graduates managing such systems? Will we see a Major or perhaps a Colonel charged with this crime too? If not, why not?
kenneth renner says
Age and college education have nothing to do with competency or reliability. I had both a TS clearance and access and a TK clearance and access and spent over 3 years in a military SCIF and although I was a college graduate and older when I enlisted, the people whose intelligence I questioned the most were the civilian, Ivy League educated analysts whose family connections got them positions with our intelligence agencies.
This is supposed to be the charging document. They have to keep the two agencies making allegations anonymous? Paragraphs 26 and 27 don’t prove that JT actually accessed files or did a search, even if it might end up being true that his work computer was used.
The search date in paragraph 27 is a Thursday, so that wouldn’t fit his work schedule, either.
26. The Government Document posted on Social Media Platform 1 was accessible to
TEIXEIRA by virtue of his employment with USANG. According to a U.S. Government
Agency, which has access to logs of certain documents TEIXEIRA accessed, TEIXEIRA
accessed the Government Document in February 2023, approximately one day before User 1 reposted the information on the Internet. User 1 told the FBI that the information he reposted was originally posted on Server 1 by the individual using the Subject Username.
27. In addition, according to a second U.S. Government Agency, which can monitor
certain searches conducted on its classified networks, on April 6, 2023, TEIXEIRA used his government computer to search classified intelligence reporting for the word “leak.” The first public reporting regarding the Government Information appeared on or around April 6, 2023. Accordingly, there is reason to believe that TEIXEIRA was searching for classified reporting regarding the U.S. Intelligence Community’s assessment of the identity of the individual who transmitted classified national defense information, to include the Government Document.
“…which has access to logs of certain documents T…”
Logs, presumably electronic. No one would ever edit those.

” on April 6, 2023, TEIXEIRA used his government computer to search classified intelligence reporting for the word “leak.” The first public reporting regarding the Government Information appeared on or around April 6, 2023″.
April 6 was a Thursday. Does the ANG drill on Thursdays? Do they issue laptops with TS access to very junior enlisted men to take home with them? That doesn’t sound possible. What about the rest of the unit? As the article makes clear, many of these docs were way out of the ballpark for anyone in an ANG intelligence wing to look at as far as I know. The G-men must be interviewing everyone in the unit right? Nobody in his chain of command right up to the WIng Commander thinks any of this is strange? The over dramatic SWAT team takedown was probably intended to intimidate that whole unit into silence. My opinion is that someone set this kid up and fed him these docs, but the role of his handler and how this was set up is a complete mystery at this time. If we don’t start seeing some demands from Republicans in Congress, who should know that this story does not make sense, then we will know the whole Deep State wants to Oswald this kid.
Thanks so much, Larry. Most people with your experience in these matters (a finite universe) would be too enmeshed in Deep State culture to contradict the official narrative. The mere mention of Bellingcat should let us all know we’re being fed a line of BS.
True .. Bellingcat is just the media outlet for MI6. Anything from them needs to be viewed as a red herring.
Old Microbiologist says
It is enough for me to see the origin of the story began with Bellingcat. That tells us everything.
exactly. short reminder: bellingcat were behind both the fake claims that russia shot down malaysian airlines flight MH17 over ukraine, as well as the fake “white helmet” claims that the syrian government was behind numerous chemical warfare attacks, including douma…and now the utterly baffling but fake claims of a release of “secret documents”.
in short, if a “leaked story” contains the reference “bellingcat”, it`s (very probably) a fake, and teixeira is as much a patsy as lee harvey oswald, sirhan sirhan or (with an anniversary fittingly approaching) boston marathon “culprit” dzhokhar tsarnaev.
Adam Troy says
So Jack was able to print the docs and smuggle them out? Where are they now?
Adam Troy says
So Jack stole (smuggled out) those docs from a SCIF but he has not been charged with theft, why?
My guess is that he « found » or was « fed » those docs on the internet ….at home….
If that is the case I think there might be an electronic trail.
It’s a truism that one should never believe a SNAFU until it has been officially denied.
In this matter that B/S has too risible & feeble to rate a mention – the worst cover up since a G&S operetta with fluttering eyelids, paper fans and pirates.
Things have come to a pretty pass when bureaucratic infighting & turf wars threaten national security and a figure-head Prez cannot be expected to speak coherently.
If people can swallow the story about the boat blowing up the pipeline, why should anyone put more effort into making this one more believeable.

Jack Gordon says
Isn’t this a case of the Pentagon striking back against the State department neocon led clique of Blinken and Newland and the supporting cast of the democratic party to stop them dragging the US military into a war that it’s guaranteed that they will lose ? None of the leaked information is state level sovereign secrets and doesn’t hinder very badly any ongoing ops – Additionally the fact that they sought to originate this leak from the Air Force instead of the other wings ties in neatly to the new incoming CDS , Air force general Brown – Anyone pretending that the US military are incompetent woke fools are dangerously underestimating a huge organisation with top-notch brains and unlimited money and who doesn’t need to report a large part of their covert activities – Texiera could be another Mcveigh or Chauvin – Used as a cutout for larger intelligence operations and then disappear into the federal system never to be seen or heard again

RT reports on The “Donbass Devushka” collective (based on WSJ)
Ex-US Navy technician behind pro-Russian Twitter collective – WSJ
The “Donbass Devushka” collective was an early sharer of the Pentagon leaks documents
A 37-year-old former US Navy officer is the face of the pro-Russian online collective ‘Donbass Devushka’, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has reported. The newspaper has backed up claims made by the pro-Ukrainian online movement NAFO, following their investigation into the collective.
‘Donbass Devushka’ (“Donbass Girl”) is reportedly a group of 15 individuals headed by Sarah Bils, a former US enlisted aviation electronics technician. The WSJ interviewed Bils about the key role the collective played in disseminating classified US materials exposing US spying and positions on Ukraine – commonly known as the Pentagon leaks.
Following an online probe that involved US-government funded Bellingcat, US Airman First Class Jack Teixeira was charged with improperly sharing the Pentagon leaks. While the Donbass Devushka accounts were apparently among the first to share some of the documents, Bils claims she has not broken any US laws and that another group administrator posted the files.
“I obviously know the gravity of top-secret classified materials. We didn’t leak them,” she told the WSJ.
Bils served at the US naval air station on Whidbey Island until last November and was promoted to the E-7 rank in late 2022, the report said. She was discharged with honor and with the lower rank of E-5, though the reason for her demotion was not clear. She claimed in the interview that she left for medical reasons after suffering from PTSD. Her rank gave her access to some classified information.
A local news report from September 2021 mentions a Sarah Bils, 36, being involved in a high-speed collision on Whidbey Island, in which two local residents in another car were injured.
Bils has claimed to have Russian and Jewish heritage and even spoke with a Russian accent in podcasts she hosted. Her identity as “a regular Yankee girl, living in Oak Harbor” was reported in a Twitter thread on Sunday by Pekka Kallioniemi, who is a fellow at the University of Tampere in Finland. He credited NAFO, a pro-Kiev online movement known for the use of Shiba Inu dog images and trolling tactics, for outing her.
Kallioniemi branded Bils a “grifter” and alleged that she was running propaganda for donations. She denied to the WSJ that she had sent money to the Russian military, which would have violated US sanctions. The “small” amount of money she had raised went to funding the collective’s operations and to charities in Serbia, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria and the Palestinian territories, she claimed.
As I recall, that arrest was for an NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer). They are not referred to as officers..they are part of the enlisted ranks…
John Q. Publicke says
I postulate that possibly Teixiera quickly pulled them willy-nilly from a burn-bag. Explains the random documents, and their condition. As an E-3, he may have been assigned trash duty. There’s no “cleaning crew” in a SCI F except lower enlisted.
But given he had very limited days on and those he had were training days, how likely is that.
Curt Nichols says
Larry, I defer to your knowledge on this. But I am having trouble wrapping my head around this.
So, if he’s a patsy? “They” posted the documents under an account they created built around him he did not know about? Or “they” left the documents out for him to find hoping he would do this? Or “they” are paying him to take a hit as a Manchurian candidate who will get a quick out to spend his earnings? Or full blown “they” did a MK Ultra mind job on him with drugs, sex, and rock n roll?
How did “they” happen to pick this poor bastard? You want to talk about the flying dildo of death just wandering by? Holy Jesus if that is the case.
Here is my thought. He posted something to his odd little clan of internet dudes that have never seen a woman naked. This was discovered. Since it was so innocuous they were just monitoring him. Some bright guy had a plan to exploit it. And they started making things available to him. Selected things. Maybe half the internet bro’s were CIA/NSA assets like half the J6 folks were FBI agitators. Urging him on and promoting it.
And then with Ukraine falling apart, spring the distraction. That’s all I got.
I scratch my head on this too – maybe he’s a convenient patsy, and maybe all he did was recycle some stuff he cam across on the net, making it easier to get pinned with this after somebody else put it out there.
There are various reports as to how long this stuff was out there circulating, so maybe somebody else did it and he stumbled on it and forwarded it to look cool. Maybe he’s a convenient patsy by serendipity. Hard to tell.
It seems doubtful he was the origin of the leak. Why/how they decided on sticking him with it might get clearer as time goes on.
Cato the Uncensored says

Only transition for him is from a life of possibility to one of hell.
Just like all the other transitions popular in the modern western world.
I do not see a favorable end for this young airman. The lies start and will be very difficult, or maybe impossible, to make his accusers deny this farce .
Get some lifer to stub him or maybe he would “volunteer” to hang himself in his cell “out of shame for his betrayal” with a neat letter of confession in his pocket? How long will he survive?
I think that all this was done so that the Americans would realize that they are in a big defeat, and this can be seen from the document, which should open the eyes of the Americans, but they are still sleeping.
IMO You are giving Americans(westerner bricks in the wall) far too much credit. brings to mind aline from Blazing Saddles……these are common folk, the salt of the earth, you know…morons!
Well no one really stood up for Assange or others so this guy is nothing nothing. Poor sod. Ugly to watch this clown show.

Carlton Meyer says
Did he grab some docs while putting stuff into the shredder or burn bag?
Whatever happens, they must hold a commissioned officer responsible for allowing an E-3 to access this stuff.
Perhaps MI-6 is involved because they are not prohibited from violating American laws and can’t be called to testify.
Who is “Deepthroat”?
1. Some lone high-level individual who is trying to change policy direction? (e.g., like Mark Felt – see the Liam Neeson movie)
2. A CONSPIRACY of like-minded individuals who are trying to change policy direction?
I would put odds on (2). The challenges involved in pulling this off by oneself seem monumental. Also, a powerful conspiracy could make the investigation much, much more complicated. (Think “The Departed” movie.)

He’s an airman, no? Could he have been related to that Ukrainian airman that ‘committed suicide’ for flying too close to MH17 and ‘witnessing’ the horror of it all?
These days, you never know what’s really what – no matter how seemingly absurd.
Joe Blow says
When I thankfully watch Messrs. Johnson, Ritter, McGovern et al struggle to explain the bizarre behavior of the Biden , Stoltenberg, & von der Leyen regimes, and the person(s) who handed these docs to Airman Texeira the logic always seems to settle on the fact that “the neocons”, i.e. Nuland, Sullivan, Blinken, etc. are issuing these krazy orders and the managed officials are merely implementing them. OK. Got it. But I keep asking: WHO does Nuland report to? How about Sullivan? Hillary? OK. But who does Hillary report to? Who does Blinky report to? Certainly not Biden. Going back: Who did Cheney report to? How ’bout Wolfowitz? And Wurmser? The whole Weapons-of-Mass-Baloney gang – WHO controls these people and, thus, our planet? I would LUVs me to know that.

“I remain skeptical of the narrative and hope by raising these questions that some genuine journalists will explore the oddities and try to get to the ground truth”
Proverbial Man on the Moon might ask: what is the obsession in USA with obviously false narratives and snow jobs passing as news; politicians and public alike obsessed by them, deem them important. . . .
I don’t have answer but this conundrum, explored with this lens in mind may or can build some bridges to discover where this Orient Express is traveling.
Zeroing in on Jacob “Jake” Sullivan, Biden’s NSA, may prove fruitful in this project.
While it may sound simplistic, were Sullivan arrested and charged with conspiracy to destroy Nord Streams, his interrogation would very likely reveal all we need to know to get to the ground truth viz. these SCIF Documents, among other things. He could thus also throw sunlight on the actual facts surrounding the Eric C complaint against Trump, involving the president’s telephone call with Zelensky in 2019. In other words: an actual criminal conspiracy of Treason. When this full story is ever told I don’t know: but told it must.
But as a practical matter, at this time, he, like CIA agent Eric C., during ImpeachmentGate of Trump, are Sacred Cows. They are literally Third Rail Topics!
Recall Devin Nunes asking Vindman, during ImpeachmentGate, about the leaked information involving Trump and Zelensky conversation. . . Adam Schiff jumped in and told Vindman not to answer as that would, according to Sciff, reveal identity of the CIA “Whistleblower” EC.
And recall during Senate Trial: Rand Paul was outright denied ability to, by Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberst, mentioning name of EC — recall that Paul actually at one point had a sign with the CIA agent’s name, in Senate Chamber — as, I suppose, a way to protest and/or illustrate utter corruption of that proceeding.
The Sciff Documents apparently first appeared less than three weeks after the Feb. 8 2023 Hersh report, titled “How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline” that directly implicates Sullivan and Biden in International Terrorism.
These schemes are complicated owing to massive deception efforts; figuring them out requires holding all information we glean with great skepticism. . .in trying to as it were connect the dots.
In recent Lira broadcast with Larry and Ray McGovern, McGovern pointed us to an historical event well worth re-exploring: when Johnson was coping with a Leslie Gelb leak in early 1968 — that in addition to the 500K troops in Vietnam, Westmoreland said another 200K are needed. . . .

LBJ & DALEY MARCH 13 1968 https://prde.upress.virginia.edu/conversations/4005962
There is key dimension worth repeating:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
A] Freedom of expression for an individual is fundamental human right from which all political rights spawn.
This right is to individuals; the press do not possess greater rights, as an institution, than any of us, as individuals, period. Our individual rights, and their collective rights are in fact equal: they don’t have greater rights.
B] This individual right plainly means we can express our individual opinions, our thoughts, our ideas, etc., without any coercion — be that person to person, over the telephone, via Twitter, Facebook, on TV, etc.
C] This means, at the individual level, concepts such as “misinformation” and the like are irrelevant, and constitutionally and legally irrelevant, and from a human rights perspective, totally irrelevant. That is to say: right to free expression shall not be abridged, period, thus making irrelevant any and all claims about “misinformation.”
D] When Big Government and Big Media and Big Tech, in their perfidy, make and do anything calling into question our inalienable right to free expression [e.g., accusing us of “spreading misinformation” for example], one can immediately and definitively conclude they are criminals, plain and simple. And, that they are concretely violating our civil rights, our legal rights, our constitutional rights: at the individual level. This is a fact and social fact.
Put another way, to the extent Big Government and Big Media and Big Tech might have ANY ROLE, vis a vis our individual communications — that can only be — CAN ONLY BE: to defend our constitutional right to freedom of expression, period — that’s it, that’s all.
Anything else is by definition interfering with our inalienable constitutional rights! Yet, our civil rights are being violated at every turn — with this total inversion of a plain reading of Amendment 1: that somehow now it’s government’s role, and media’s role, and big tech’s role to define, a priori, this “misinformation” red herring.
Wrong wrong wrong.
This is the trap we are in, plain and simple.
Jack T, Julian Assange, etc. have every right to publish anything. . . those who stole whatever documents. . . are and/or may be criminally liable, perhaps. The messenger cannot be criminalized, and is in no way a criminal and can’t be charged and treated as such: if Article 1 is true, which it is and has been since 18th century in this country.
Assange published information from actual whistle blowers; it appears Jack T did the same thing. . . .Yet we define, our government, defines Eric C a whistle blower, defined Mark Felt, the man in charge of FBI, a whistle blower. . . .what is wrong with this picture?
How is it that Supreme Court Chief Justice took the liberty to not read a question from Senator Paul, during ImpeachmentGate, that mentioned name Eric C.?
We should all be scared shitless in a system this broken, when the powerful are protected as whistleblowers and our constitutional right to free speech is no more. . . .and anyone exercising this human right in the public interest is subject to arrest, jail, and murder by our government. . .in our names. . . .
Instead of arresting Jake Sullivan for international terrorism, he is free to create more mayhem, more deception, more of everything our constitution was created to prevent: this enemy of the people should be greatly scrutinized for his role in this most grotesque morality play.
Any possibility that Jack was working the empty the garbage duty that day?
Those type of documents in print form are not disposed in garbage. They are shredded and disposed extremely carefully. There is protocol on disposing each level of documents.
The last 27 months:
6.5 million undocumented people poured across the southern border raising the gang member numbers from 2.8 million when President Trump left office to at least 3.6 million members and increasing every day.
The resident in the Whitehouse and his idiots managed to erase President Nixon’s accomplishment of driving a wedge between The Soviet Union and China and now have driven Russia and China together. The U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency has been greatly diminished.
Inflation is running 15-20% for many products (shadowstats.com) . Inflation is created by war more than by anything else (armstrongeconomics.com). That is why Powell started raising rates shortly after Russia’s SMO started. Millions of Americans have been murdered or disabled by biden’s forced “vaccinate(bioweapon) or lose your job” agenda. This disrupts the supply chain which is also inflationary.
The U.S banana republic was made apparent when Mar-a-Lago was raided and President Trump was arrested.
The U.S. committed an act of war when they blew up the Nord Stream pipeline and then tried to blame it on Russia. When that didn’t work, especially after Seymour Hersh’s article came out, they tried to say it was people on a rented yacht. I know there are other issues but lest I start drinking and doing drugs to distort reality, I’m trying to be vigilant in my retirement.
And now they claim someone who Larry and many other experts say shouldn’t have had access to these documents actually did have access. Is anyone really surprised?
I used to call the people who stole $17 million from Loomis Fargo in North Carolina (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxImwEdrXCQ) the gang that couldn’t shoot straight. That is nothing compared to the idiots running this country…into the ground. But still some of their supporters fall back to “it’s better than Trump.” NO IT ISN’T!

There are two separate documents relating to casualties. One with a casualty ratio of approx 7-1 in Russia’s favour. That was targeted at Russian/pro Russians. I suspect the Donbass Devushka telegram channel was given a tip about the documents at 4chan. DD has a large following and they would soon circulate. I think once that was in circulation, another document showing 2-1 casualty ratio in Ukraine’s favour was put out.
The documents were supposedly used to win an augment over which side was winning in Ukraine. Nobody would use a document show 2-1 casualties in Russia’s favour to win the augment that Russia is winning.
Bellingcat was called in to provide a story to the public and their part covers the area between the leaving most likely DNI and 4chan.
If I were to go way out left field and pick something with very low probability and zero evidence.

Acts of terror like what happened to Assange and others are a message and deterrent in their own right..old, unexceptional info, huge news, am example made, restless voices quieten down. Message, we sacrifice and torture this kid because of you, so imagine what else we could do…..
His apprehension reeked from the outset. This young man was probably just the unlucky winner of the draw from the hat of whom to pin this on. He probably met some of the key desired demographics or other traits desired in the person who would be apprehended and accused of this. Does he fit the patriot, “right wing”, terrorist type image that is being promulgated in mainstream brainwashing narratives? Maybe. In any case, he fit the bill for whatever was wanted. My guess is this was not willingly leaked directly by CIA, probably a high level, but was a forced leak via coersion and/or blackmail. The question then is, who is doing that coersion or blackmail? Who wanted this info leaked? Who would want that… Any guesses?

The only reference to an EXDIS document I recall is a tweet by Michael Tracey:
in which he enclosed an image of a document marked EXDIS.
The document he shows appears to be an example document from the Department of State illustrating the proper display of the EXDIS flagging, not one of the leaked documents.
You should probably contact Tracey and ask him where he has seen these EXDIS documents, assuming he actually has and is not merely reporting what someone told him.

Here is something I crossposted over at Moon of Alabama. Kudos to the individual who posted the charging document – it has a couple of revealing points I mention below.
This is the charging document issued on Jack Teixera:
Note the following:
“As of February 2023, TEIXEIRA’s title was Cyber Defense Operations Journeyman.”
That is not what has been reported elsewhere. What was reported is that his title is “Cyber Transport Systems Journeyman”, which as I described in an earlier MoA thread is very different. In other words, he was described as being this:
3D1X2 – CYBER TRANSPORT SYSTEMS AFSC
Whereas now he is being described as being this:
1D7X1 – CYBER DEFENSE OPERATIONS AFSC
WBUR, Boston’s NPR affilitate, had this article which repeats the claim that Teixera was the former, not the latter:
Major part of Mass. Air National Guard’s job is analyzing intelligence
“It’s not yet known how Teixeira, who held the title cyber defense operations journeyman, allegedly got the documents and shared them in an online group.”
In short, it appears the FBI wants to “upgrade” his skills to a higher level computer security specialist in order to make it more plausible that he was the leaker, rather than being a “hardware monkey” who would mostly have been swapping out hardware like network routers, printers, PCs and the like.
Also note that the charging document contains this interesting bit:
“According to a U.S. Government Agency, which has access to logs of certain documents TEIXEIRA accessed, TEIXEIRA accessed the Government Document in February 2023, approximately one day before User 1 reposted the information on the Internet. User 1 told the FBI that the information he reposted was originally posted on Server 1 by the individual using the Subject Username.”
This would indicate that Teixera, if he in fact did this, would have done so knowing – if he were indeed a 1D7X1 Cyber Defense Operations Journeyman – that his access was being monitored and that access to these documents was logged and monitored, whereas a “hardware monkey’ might not know that – and might not have that capability at all.
Then the charging documents says this:
“In addition, according to a second U.S. Government Agency, which can monitor certain searches conducted on its classified networks, on April 6, 2023, TEIXEIRA used his government computer to search classified intelligence reporting for the word “leak.” The first public reporting regarding the Government Information appeared on or around April 6, 2023. Accordingly, there is reason to believe that TEIXEIRA was searching for classified reporting regarding the U.S. Intelligence Community’s assessment of the identity of the individual who transmitted classified national defense information, to include the Government Document. ”
This appears to have been added solely to bolster the notion that Teixera was the leaker. It would seem to be beyond stupid for Teixeira, knowing that he was being monitored and that his access to classified documents was logged, to have conducted such an obvious search – if indeed he had advanced government cyber defense training.
Is Jack Texeira going to be Jack Rubyed?
Forgive me for adding a couple more of comments from another “arm-chair analyst” here.
First, from the minute these docs started getting out, ALL Russian analysts with no exception were saying it is a clear disinformation campaign to confuse Russians about UA counter-offensive while ALL US analysts, including you, Larry, claimed the documents were genuine.
Second, a question: how come the CNN copter was in the air watching and recording JT reading a book (at 3 am? – maybe he is indeed such an unusually avid reader, though 🙂 Obviously, he did not even notice the very quiet copter above his head, hmm )?
Third, when the CIA or military sets you up for an operation that could get you life in a secure cell, WHAT do they have on you to agree to such an attractive arrangement? And why not just kill him “attempting to …” during the arrest so he could not be questioned later?
Larry Johnson says
The documents are genuine. You have no experience to back up your claim.

at the risk of “echo chamber” :
With govt it’s usually either incompetence…or conspiracy. Typically the safe bet is incompetence. 1.25 MM top secret clearances:
This is different weather pattern…however. Who would gain by the leak?
1]Geo political concerns that need an “off ramp” from their UKR is winning rhetoric?
2]CONUS congress that would like to limit free speech, control/censor… the net?
3] Was the leak as simple as “Snowden”…or low level idiot that had some thing… he never should of exposed to the open air? Are we that bad…that lousy at controlling our data?
4]Other entity playing 3D chess.. say… a RU or RU friendly Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy..that wanted to sow chaos for the USA?
“Plausible deniability”…is the signature of a professional job.

Thank you Larry for what you do. However, as you get closer over the target, flack will intensify and they will attempt to take down your site.
I witnessed the attack on my favorite site in 2012, when the Site provided leaked documents pointing to the White Helmets’ responsibility for the gas attack in Syria and foiling Obumer’s justification for a retaliatory attack.
Why is a wide varity of info contained in the leaks? I would presume the stuff would be compartamentalized; that means stuff from different sources would not be all in one place. So, somebody besides Tex’ must of pulled it together for him to leak out as some nice neat package. Yeah, the leak looks fishy.
As to fishy thngs (ok, a little off topic) what about that flare up in the Sudan? Seems like, considering Wagner forces are in the Sudan, seems like the Ukraine thing is spilling over into Africa ????

Another desperate play by an Administration in chaos.
Putting on my tinfoil hat two things come to mind: Firstly, I have yet to meet a person under the age of 40 with the name “Jack” in my life. Secondly, the portrait picture looks like a CGI creation to me. The other kid that’s interviewed by the WP is clearly reading off a script. “He liked to shoot guns and race cars, etc” – being presented as the evil white man the liberals love to hate. This whole affair stinks to high heaven, but the sheep will all believe it.
In other words this “kid” might not even exist. He’ll probably hang himself in a federal jail cell when the cameras coincidentally go out of order before he ever sees a court room.
Karl Gant says
Sam I tend to agree with you.
Definitely looks CGI to me too. Reminds me of the photo of shooter at Sandy Hook. By the way he was a gamer too. I guess all young men these days are gamers.
I remembered seeing somewhere dozens of photos that were all computer generated and they all were very good fakes to real human photos. But Jack T’s photo looks fake!
I just wanted to ask of others, anyone, what do they make of the Route 91 Las Vegas Mass Shooting in 2017, now almost ancient history I know? I know, completely off this subject, but I just thought I would ask. I come to these vents very slowly, I was asleep like many for a long time. Thanks
