As someone who played a minuscule role in a CIA information operation that targeted Soviet military operations in Afghanistan in November 1985, I feel somewhat qualified to comment on the mammoth propaganda campaign the United States and Europe have unleashed on Russia. I have never seen anything so perverse and so dishonest.
Let me give you a recent example. Remember this recent “news” headline? “
DUCKING FOR COVER
‘Sickly’ Putin cancels biggest speech of his life as first Russian state of nation since invasion is mysteriously axed
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/20827701/putin-sick-russian-speech-ukraine-invasion/
This was courtesy of the UK’s SUN. Lacking any reliable source, The SUN opted for speculation:
VLADIMIR Putin has cancelled his state of the nation address fuelling rumours he is in hiding from the Russian people and could be in failing health.
Putin’s spokesman finally confirmed the speech – which would be one of biggest in Vlad’s life – will not go ahead before the New Year. . . .
It comes after the mad tyrant also cancelled his end of year press conference and his annual hockey game.
Got it? Putin is either deathly ill — suffering from Parkinsons, cancer, Irritable Bowel, etc. — or deathly afraid of having to explain the ass whooping that Ukraine is delivering to Russia. You see, Putin can’t handle tough questions. Oops!! Wait a minute. We have breaking news. Turns out that Putin held a 48 minute press conference three days before Western Christmas (does this count as “end of the year”?):
It would appear that Putin delights in trolling the Western pundits and media. Does Putin look like a man suffering from some devastating illness? Does he give off the vibe of a guy who cannot control his bowels and is called Mr. Poopy Pants behind his back? Joe Biden could not pull this off even if he consumed Zelensky’s weekly dose of cocaine. Putin is coherent and in command of facts.
It would be one thing if the Western propaganda effort was focused solely on ridiculing and trying to foment opposition inside Russia to Vladimir Putin. But it is not. Western propaganda is demonizing all things Russian — e.g., literature, art, chess, sports figures, and actors and actresses. This approach is not creating a reservoir of good will towards the West. Just the opposite. It is fortifying Russian nationalism and solidifying support for Putin.
This is just one more piece of evidence that Western intelligence agencies have become a toxic, venal clown show. A professional, competent intelligence agency would use propaganda to support a broader strategic goal. So what is the “strategic goal” in attacking all things Russian? Pissing off the Russian people does not strike me as a recipe for bringing Russia under the control of the West. It also fails to provide the answer to the question, “Who replaces Putin?”
I do not even see a Russian version of the impotent Venezuelan pawn, Juan Gauido, who was tossed into the trash bin of history today by his previous backers:
on Friday, dozens of politicians who once backed Guaidó voted in favor of removing the 39-year-old engineer and replacing his U.S.-supported “interim government” with a committee to oversee presidential primaries next year and protect the nation’s assets abroad.
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/venezuelan-opposition-strips-juan-guaido-of-presidential-role
The U.S. mojo for overthrowing foreign governments has fallen on hard times. The last successful Western engineered coup was in Ukraine in February 2014. Since then the U.S. efforts to put their own boy in charge of a foreign government have faltered badly. Not just in Venezuela. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, working with the Brits and Turkey and some Gulf States, tried to get rid of Syria’s Bashir Assad and funded a civil war. The attempted coup in Khazakstan in January 2022 was a bust. Syria and Khazakstan shared one thing in common — Russia was their friend and Russia intervened to shore up those governments.
I wonder what the Russia phrase for Mighty Mouse is?
Is Russia the new Mighty Mouse? An interesting question to contemplate on the eve of entering 2023.
Seems generally fair to me but I wonder about Ukraine as the last successful coup. I ran Khan in Pakistan has good reason to see a starred and stripy hand behind his ouster…
Pakistan is yet to prove a successful coup. Efforts to hamstring Khan have done the opposite– and, as a result, we might see real change in Pakistan. Blowback.
As for “propaganda”, also known as “PR”, “soft power”, and the like — it only works with the culture in which it originates. I work in Japan and for 30 years, I did corporate propaganda…sorry … PR… for some of the world’s largest corporations — and, almost every Japanese ministry, most recently the Foreign Ministry. I don’t do political propaganda of the kind, Larry is talking about here. Even I, media whore that I am, have some scruples. And I don’t kiss my clients on the mouth. Also always wear a condom on my mind.
International PR is never persuasive unless a.) it is factually correct b.) it respects the culture it targets and that culture’s values and history.
With the Japanese the problem is always that they don’t understand their OWN culture or history but buy into myths they are taught in high school.
I found in most cases that I knew more about Japanese culture than the Japanese I worked with.
For some years, my areas were the Middle East and North Africa. I worked for one major corporation. The only person out of a 100 in a division for that who had actually read the Q’ran and knew the history of the region.
Naturally, the company didn’t always listen to me. So when I suggested that setting up showrooms and supply centers for SUVs and pickups might not be a good idea before ISIS became a “thing”, they didn’t listen. They believed American propaganda that the US had things under control in the ME. LOL…. So they lost a billion $ or so.
Lesson? Countries and organizations that produce bullshit and believe it too, rot from the bowels, the core.
“…I found in most cases that I knew more about Japanese culture than the Japanese I worked with…”
I lived and worked (some of the time) in Thailand for eight years and my experience was the same. A Thai colleague once said to me that I “know more about Thailand than the Thais do…”
Most are very ignorant about their history and culture; which is a shame as it is very interesting.
Most did not believe me when I would tell them that Buddhism was from India. And chillies from Portugal.
However they all know that they once kicked Burma’s arse and that they have never been colonised (militarily at least). LOL
To add another example: In the early ’80s I was teaching business English at a Colombian private university. This was the era of the Carter-Torrijos treaty that ceded eventual sovereignty over the canal to Panama by 2000 and the Colombian commentariat was in high gear over the possible threats to Colombia that such a treaty might imply — recall that Panama was Colombia’s northern province, which the US had wrested from Colombia in 1903 in order to get the Canal done, and so Colombian elites have always been touchy about this subject.
Since one of my teaching techniques was to give students readings in English regarding very familiar topics with simple, recognizable vocabulary, I found as I recall a BusinessWeek article that recounted this history and explained Colombia’s misgivings. I thought it would be a familiar, interesting topic for students.
Boy, was I wrong. The reactions were stupefied, and most students thought this was a piece of fiction. Mind you, this was a private university and these were elite kids. Of course, elite kids are pampered kids: once, when I said that something was 10 percent of 100, they whipped out their calculators.
Off the main topic but re your last sentence – after the Xmas dinner blow-out here it is the norm to indulge in fun quizzes of the year’s events and, following the midterms, one round was to name the US states.
Most of us managed 20 or 30 but none could name them all.
Out of curiosity I emailed an old friend who is a retired high school teacher (in Kansas who also taught elsewhere) to ask whether she thought that most Americans could name them all.
She thought not, guestimating that fewer than 5% could do so, adding “Don’t forget that the ‘All Must Have Prizes!’ ethos is now in its 2nd generation.”
Can this be true?
I can easily imagine that the same can be said of Americans today. How many kids “graduating” from our woke educational propaganda mills actually know about REAL American history? Not very many in my experience. Interesting to note that one of the things Putin has turned around in Russia recently is the “Bologna” (EU) educational system and replaced it with traditional Russian schooling (with emphasis on STEM classes, not woke bullshit):
https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2022/05/25/russia-to-quit-european-standards-system-for-higher-education-a77796
“International PR is never persuasive unless a.) it is factually correct b.) it respects the culture it targets and that culture’s values and history.”
In the early 1990’s throughout the former “Soviet bloc” early foreign lower end mass market product launches were largely in the confectionary and cosmetic sectors.
One of the products perceived by the locals to be part of the cosmetic sector was “Wash and Go” into a market with a history of “younger audiences” of wash your hair, make tea and find the biscuits if any, talk with your friends, when your hair is dry adjust your hair with the help of your friends until you all agree that it is done to the appropriate standard, then if the weather and wind is ok, go.
In the confectionary sectors one product which replaced buying boxed chocolates for a “hot date” by “poorer” people was Mars’ Snickers product. In the “Socialist bloc” accomodation was limited and hence younger people had difficulty finding accomodation within which to have sex – baby its cold outside refers for approximately half a year.
Consequently the official Mars’ Snicker’s “invitation” was undermined by a widely proposed alternative “invitation” – “Snickers for your knickers” which had an adverse connotation/effect on Snicker’s “invitation” with the wider public.
Primarily restricted to Ukraine, this gave opportunities for Roshen whose owner was Mr. Poroshenko who produced big colourful chocolate boxes with limited content with low cocoa butter content which affected his subsquent political reputation, but not apparently with the would like to be messiahs of attempted colour revolutions aided by those locals who deemed silence to be the best option in such circumstances.
These for some “unexpected consequences” informed the practice of investing in mirrors for the would like to be messiahs of attempted colour revolutions since “all datastreams have utility for those with facility”, and that translation is impossible only interpretation through prisms of connotation is possible.
“As for “propaganda”, also known as “PR”, “soft power”, and the like — it only works with the culture in which it originates.”
Let me suggest some conditioner.
“…- it only works in the way expected within the culture in which it originates” although for various reasons many are oblivious to this in the short-term, and some of many resort to belief to bridge doubt to attain “satisfaction” in the longer-term.

Interesting food for thoughs…
This site would be a good candidate for developing a secret service based AI forum chat bot.
Those are interesting. The first link didn’t work with my setup, but the second did. Seemed accurate in the two text snips I did. The obvious caveat is that AI can be programmed to censor.
I did corporate communications in a previous life, which I suppose could be considered a form of propaganda. From the point of view of this practitioner, it seemed most useful and effective when it was both informative and credible. We were presenting our side of the story and ultimately it was up to the reader to decide whether it was convincing. Western Ukrainian propaganda is so simplistic, so bombastic, so utterly unconvincing; worse, it’s ultimately self-defeating.
“International PR is never persuasive unless a.) it is factually correct b.) it respects the culture it targets and that culture’s values and history.”
When ISIS was unleashed on the ME by the Crap Importation Agency, I had returned from the ME and my connections were still fresh. I was surprised by the amount of jokes and the comedian fodder, this khilafah has generated. 911, Iraq, Lybia, Sudan, Somalia, Syria and the greatest insult ISIS has birthed a growing pan-nationalism and unity, the Empire has no clue it even exists. To all ME analysts, analize this, Doha World Cup.
I have another home in the Philippines and I absolutely know way more about Filipino culture and history than nearly anyone I know there.
Today the young people are only vaguely aware there was a Japanese occupation during the war (what war?).
Amen and may that rot in the US government accelerate until the rotten beast is no more.
It’s less than clear to me that Imran Khan’s ouster was more than “US inspired”. There was plenty of domestic opposition to his populism in the ranks of the Pakistani elites. Quite enough to make a coup of it, but the replacement seems to be maintaining a similar geo-political trajectory.
Perhaps the most important failed coup is Belarus in 2020-21. That would’ve put Russia on its back foot and seriously constrained Russia’s running room in the current conflict had it succeeded.
What may eventually prove to be the most important failed coup of all was Turkey in 2016.
“What may eventually prove to be the most important failed coup of all was Turkey in 2016.”
Your framing obfuscates lateral interactions/multipliers and hence is misguided operationally, thereby minimising the efficacy of your terror for and on behalf of His Majesty’s Service.
Your point, if I understand it correctly, makes no sense.
Makes perfect sense to me.
In addition to the Ukraine, the Empire has tried to bleed Russia, in Belarus, in Georgia, in Azerbaijan, Armenia until Putin called a conference with all the leaders of the Stans and pointed to Afghanistan and asked: do you want to end like them? If you have any doubts, stay tuned for Ukraine’s end.
I always wandered if karma might start a regime change operation in the US? Perhaps to free America and overthrow the Neocons. Thus, sending the lot as enemy combatants to Guitmo? Who would thing Bolton at Guitmo as an injustice? One can only wish.
Pay him/her/it/them/they no heed. this seems to be a doppelganger of Harry Rech. Lots of words, zero content. Sheer unadulterated drivel.
Lmao …. A retort worthy of Groucho Marx.
MirrorGazers is a f…… computer. I mean, what\who else could come up with such gibberish ?
Um, what??
I’m in desperate need of an interpreter.
If I desire to communicate a message but failed to be understood then I’ve accomplished zero.
It seems to me that a good communicator desires to be understood or he is simply talking to himself.
This could be sarcasm, but due to its world historic obtuseness, it fails even at that. Perhaps if the author had supplied us with (lol) or some sort of a ☺️ or even one of these ;-D .. it might have worked
those weirdo talmudic AI posts… FAIL. those mossad trolls would do better with a dice cup full of various ‘intellectual-sounding’ scrabble words and toss onto the table.
I happened to be in Pakistan at the time of his ouster. The so called ‘Pakistani elites’ are anything but. A largely disorganised cleptocracy rabble, very dim (as is the post coup appointed leader Shahbaz Sharif) and they all hate each other.
There is a clear external external guiding hand that forces them to cooperate, as well suitcases of freshly printed currency which is used to corrupt key people in the military and judiciary . The coup was and the subsequent moves are far too well organised to be the work of the dim kleptocrats.
Khan is truly massively supported in Pakistan across every spectrum of society, and the kleptocrats would have fled long ago were it not for outside forces. They’ve probably been told that their stolen billions will be ‘confiscated’ (as per the Russians) if they do not deliver Pakistan’s dissected corpse on a platter.
Geopolitically Pakistan is key, 230m people , bordering Russia China and Iran. The wet dream of creating a Libya style failed state in Pakistan and then feeding ISIS terrorists into Russia, China and Iran is too tantalising for the usual suspects. The untold misery being inflicted on 230m poor Pakistani people is just incidental.
Some day, god willing, these psychopathic criminals will be held accountable for their crimes, both against us at home and the myriad places around the world that they have raped.
I’ll defer, of course to your 1st hand knowledge regarding the real nature of Pakistani elites though I must also say that your report does little to distinguish them from the vast majority of elites around the world. “Dim kleptocracies” run the world’s govts, and have for a very long time. Would that they all meet an untimely end to their rule, and in many cases more than their rule.
I do find it interesting that Khan’s replacement appears to be continuing on Khan’s path geo-politically. That’s something I’d expect to be the first thing he’d reverse if the US was pulling his strings, but I’d certainly welcome any observations you may have regarding this.
The US may have pulled strings to remove Khan, (including that assassination attempt), but I think it could have been due to his outspokenness in the English language, rather than his policies.
🎶“Imran Khan has got it going on” 🎶
US also replaced a good Somali president with a shit one who approved a US base in Somalia, all done with Ilhan Omar’s help
Unfortunately, I know a Russian national who follows Mark Feygin as a former Russian ‘insider’ and relatively influential and I have a sneaking suspicion that most of these Russia ‘experts’ are getting their daily skinny from him. Here’s a taste in English, from where else – Newsweek, the Atlantic Council’s favorite bully pulpit.
‘Paranoid’ Putin Has Lost Control of His Future—Prominent Russian Lawyer
https://www.newsweek.com/paranoid-vladimir-putin-lost-control-future-russia-lawyer-mark-feygin-ukraine-1752770
Apparently according to Feygin, Putin is behaving like Hitler in his bunker during the last days of WWII, surrounded by traitors and barely able to handle his bowel movements, let alone a battlefield.
Frankly, I don’t know if Feygin’s ‘deep psychoanalytic revelations’ are based on Western commentary or western commentary is based based on his and those like him. In any case, the madhouse marches on, and I don’t mean Russia.
A Parallax View: The USA & Ukraine
There are at least three parallels between the USA and Ukraine and one contrast:
First, they share a self-reinforcing hatred of Russia, a country like China that has arisen from the ashes of Marxist economics in the 22 years since the start of the century. They industrialized building so-called ‘real’ economies while the West de-industrialized into the so-called knowledge-based/digital ‘green’ economy.
Second, both claim to be democracies. But, as confirmed by the Twitter Files, the USA under the Biden Administration has become a fascist state. Partnership between the Deep Security State and Corporate Media inclusive of social media fulfills the definition of fascism. Acting together, they actively interfered in the 2016, 2020 and 2022 elections as well the Covid Panic. In the process they attempted to crush constitutional freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights. The Zelensky Administration has crushed all cultural, political and media opposition in Ukraine. It is an autocratic state, not a democracy.
Third, both seek to revise history. The Biden Administration actively seeks to erase the Past with a dystopian myth of a USA founded upon oppression of coloured peoples perpetuating gender discrimination while claiming men can become pregnant. Arguably for the Biden Administration the 2020 ‘summer of love’ with its death and destruction of historical monuments was an exercise in reparations for the sins of the founding fathers. Meanwhile in Zelensky’s Ukraine all cultural and historical connexions with Russia are being systematically deconstructed including the statute of Catherine the Great, founder of Odessa.
Fourth and in contrast, while the Biden Administration actively seeks out white supremacists to prosecute and punish the Zelensky Administration actively recruits white supremacists into the security forces of Ukraine.
It’s a tacky little planet!
Great analysis, Dr. Harry! Larry’s article is great too. I am going to repost it on my Substack site.
Western propaganda is demonizing all things Russian — e.g., literature, art, chess, sports figures, and actors and actresses.
Russian dressing for salads will henceforth be called New Jersey dressing.
On New Year’s Day I plan to listen to recordings of music by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Shostakovich. My own little defiance of American cultural imperialism.
“There are at least three parallels between the USA and Ukraine and one contrast:
First, they share a self-reinforcing hatred of Russia”
Perhaps understanding may be enhanced by replacing “paralells” with “assumptions” ?
> a country like China that has arisen from the ashes of Marxist economics
Apparently you are unaware of what the Chinese achieved under Mao. The Chinese themselves say that the first thirty years of the PRC laid the groundwork for that which they could be subsequently achieved after the reforms introduced by Deng. Also, I would suggest that the strong, robust Russia of today is so because it successfully arose of the ashes of the most toxic form of capitalism imaginable: the disastrous US-led free-market economic policy (shock therapy) of the Yeltsin era. Things are more complex than you seem to believe.
I think you both have excellent perspectives to share. I myself am a reformed libertarian-esque thinker, who is now beginning to see the oppression and exploitation in the West’s crony capitalist debt-fueled “free market” empire. Do I believe in the Marxist tenet of equity? Hell no, but I also see the generational decline in quality of life that is being experienced in the “1st World”…ZeroHedge has an article up right now that breaks down PornHub’s (supposed) demographics and search data over 2022. It’s quite disturbing, but it’s necessary information in order to understand the social rot that is spreading throughout the globe. May God help (or at least have mercy on) us, as I’m unsure mankind is capable of helping ourselves these days…
I agree with your first three points, but this:
“Fourth and in contrast, while the Biden Administration actively seeks out white supremacists to prosecute and punish the Zelensky Administration actively recruits white supremacists into the security forces of Ukraine.”
is a bit hard to figure. I ask myself how does it make sense?? I’ve a preliminary hypothesis:
“Biden” is encouraging recruitment, either directly or by an implicit “offer you can’t refuse”, for “white supremacists” both in USA and EU: ie. You can stay and either face charges or be an inmate in a prison that does not exist, OR you can be paid to “volunteer” to go to Ukraine for some exciting time to kill Russians and other untermenschen, either directly or by assisting the force conscripting of the target ethnics to be used as cannon fodder. Perhaps those “white supremacists” that survive and return from this adventure will be offered positions such that they will not be a political problem later. or maybe there will be a plane crash or two?.
Biden after MAGA. Zelensky & the Azov Battalion
//dystopian myth of a USA founded upon oppression of coloured peoples perpetuating gender discrimination//
This isn’t a myth but the truth.
Millions of Native Americans were massacred by the Anglo invaders and their lands were stolen.
95% of the indigenous death attribute to Old World viruses. Not steel, not gunpowder, not horses, not Christianity – viruses. See the article titled 1491.
Isolation from the Old World led to the collapse of the New.
Annoying British, he is Vova or Volodya, or to them More formally God’s wrathful vengeance. Vlad is Vladislav, as in baby don’t hurt me, no more
I think all these western presstitutes use the name “Vlad” in reference to Vladimir Putin is a petty sort of insult (the type that earth worms feel towards an Eagle).
For those who don’t know, Vladimir Putin’s name is astoundingly appropriate for the Global Leader that he is.
His first name means “Rule the World” (“vlad” is an abbreviation of the Russian word “vladei”, which means “rule, own”) and his last name, Putin, means “He showing the Way” (from the Russian word “put'”, which means “way, path”).
So, the state dpt / cia / whitehouse whores and the Zionists know this all too well and try to diminish and denigrate The President’s Name to a petty insult. The low lives that they are.
Vladimir = Vlad is an abbreviation of “vladei” (meaning “rule”), and Mir means “World” in Russian. Hence Rule The World (“vladei + mir”).
Mir also means “peace” in Russian…
Propaganda always fails with people who have critical thinking skills. The problem is – 98% of the American population doesn’t.
When I was a boy in Yugoslavia, I thought Americans sh*t gold bars and piss liquid diamonds. I thought they were the most competent/professional people in the world. Then I moved to the United States…..
Happy New Year Larry – I don’t know you but I enjoy your blog.
Which republic?
Exactly. Those who can see through the bullshit are far outnumbered by the zombies. How many seasons will we have to sit through before this series dies off? Bad TV has never died. The ‘spinners’ will have employment guaranteed.
Gospodin Oddo,
I like reading your comments as they come from a very high intellect. When I was in the western world I was lucky to have a few people of Yugoslavia in my friend circle. A male Croat and a female Serb but they both thought the same. It’s happy new year but you guys are blessed with the hottest female genes. Zasto je Bog sturio lepu? Sorry, too much whisky. You Serbs are good people, you will have your day.
when I was growing up in Serbia in 70s we all thought Americans were mostly selfish, incompetent, greedy assholes whose country was founded of genocide.
When I moved to USA in mid 2006 my suspicions were confirmed.
The biggest surprise was that their gvt cared less about their own people than they did about us Serbs (even though they bombed us unprovoked).
Another big surprise was that American cars were mostly crap
I also used to think Dame Edna was a woman – I could not believe a man would want to dress up as a woman for any reason
Then I moved to (much worse and more totalitarian) Canada – and am now very happy to be back in Serbia.
The Russian government with President Putin leading it seems secure, economically, politically, militarily and also with regards to it’s international diplomatic standing.
(Perhaps, Russia’s diplomatic standing in neutral countries is the most unknown or unappreciated aspect of this conflict which average Americans have little or no knowledge of.)
A firm consensus exists in the Kremlin.
What Russia will do with it… is the question of the hour.
This propaganda war… they’ve been doing it from the start… before the start… Russia interfered with the election… Russia is bad…
There’s a propaganda bubble… it’s as all encompassing as they can make it.
Seemingly, it’s worked so far at least in the Emerald City.
The pin to pop it exists on the battlefield.
“This propaganda war”
There is no propaganda war – only “The United States of America” publicly masturbating without benefit of satisfaction to the amusement of some, the disgust of some others, and the indifference of the hoped for “target audience” encouraging the accelerated attempts at new positions/strokes by “The United States of America” in hope of impressing others by their super-schlongness.
Perhaps they will try to play the piano with their appendage?
Do you think it is fair for me to judge you as a Serb by the history of the leaders of your country.
I would ask you to do the same and don’t judge Americans by their government. We are just about, maybe, if all goes well, to reach our nation’s Financial Independence Day from the City of London. If that happens, we’ll be back in Europe to save you from the new communism you are about to endure.
And also in alt-media.
Any of the walk-abouts various YouTubers are doing inside Moscow supermarkets, coffee shops, churches etc. go far in countering CNN propaganda.
“The U.S. mojo for overthrowing foreign governments has fallen on hard times.”
Yes, but they seem to be doing a good job overthrowing U.S. presidential and congressional elections. What I wonder is, as America’s influence lessens in the world, its ruling class might turn their frustration and domination on us and Western Europe. A wave of suppression, intimidation and eventually simple elimination of any possible opposition will be America’s last cry to the world as it shrinks in influence, becoming as isolated as China before it was “opened” by the West.
It’s already started. There is no chance for the voice of the average citizen in the West to be heard. Too few are mad, too few seem to care. These are terrible odds for the future.
I saw the original Nutcracker ballad when I was 20 in Victoria, BC, a masterpiece. We took our daughter to her first ballad at the same theatre today, The Gift of the Nutcracker, a story without the violence of the original which was a better choice than the woke anti-colonial version of Nutcracker presently being offered in the woke capital of British Columbia. I grew up here but I moved way years ago, I enjoy touring my old haunts during our visit for the Christmas season but between the overpriced housing, retired liberal educational/civil servants, drug addicted/homeless people everywhere and the super woke ideology (the BC government wants to pass C-36 https://www.eastonspectator.com/2022/11/21/british-columbia-health-professionals-in-shock-over-proposed-bill-c36-are-their-rights-being-compromised/). I admire President Putin, I wish we had a strong capable leader who cares for his country and people instead of the WEF, lisping doofus that we presently have. Insert upside down Canadian flag here.
unbelievable. Watch M.D.s pack up and leave. Who will then care for liberal public service retirees? What’s that thing Donald said? “Everything Woke turns to shit”?
And when Hillary lambasted him at one of the debates saying he hadn’t paid any taxes he leaned in and smiled and said, “That’s cause I’m smart.”
Voters loved that!
I guess you don’t understand Putin’s actual trajectory to leadership. He’s had so much blood and shit on his hands before this whole SMO was conceived. His cabal raped Russia and created the Oligarchy which helped itself to the riches of Russia. Luckily, Putin has some very good help in people like Lavrov and the dumbest shits in the U.S. like Biden and his cronies. The financial guys in Russia should be given the credit, not Putin, for seeing how this will all play out in the world at large. Timing, stupid western policies, and the rest of the world getting wise to the US hegemony. Plenty of opposition to Putin in Russia, usually suppressed and very little leaking out to the west except word of mouth. Russia is far from perfect. I wouldn’t place them on a pedestal. Politicians are usually wicked people in case you haven’t heard. Geography matters little in this respect.
you have it backwards, the west was raping russia under yeltsin (life expectancy 59) and after 20 years of putin everything is much better for the average russian (life expectancy 70+).
Your meds aren’t working. Better go see your shrink for a dose of reality.
The oligarchy was created before Putin came to power.
One of the biggest wins for Russia this year was the non-alignment of the majority of the world with western sanctions; this was the fruit of Putin’s skilful international diplomacy the last decade or more.
No country is perfect but the suggestion that opposition to Putin in Russia is large is the reverse of reality. I live in Russia so see the full spectrum from support to opposition and the vast majority who have a nuanced, though overall positive perspective.
That you also think “it” is not leaking out when in fact western establishment media largely seek to give voice only to those who oppose their own government suggests you are blowing the propaganda trumpet yourself.
Damn, Reddit is leaking again 🙁
good one. “riceking”. wishing Larry had a thumbs up thing for these great commenters.
I have been in russia in the 90’s. And the oligarchs were allready there, so how did Putin created them before he was president?
He did not!!!
Please educate yourself, but you are free to believe what ever you want, of course.
I think your mask is on too tight.
You may be right, you may be wrong but it’s of little consequence in the end of it all. Best wishes at being right but please do acknowledge we all may be completely wrong in our assumptions.
Riceking, you have Putin confused with the Harvard Boys. Putin had to clean up their mess. It was so bad in Russia prior to the rise of Putin that people couldn’t keep their money in banks because bank insiders were leaking their addresses and account balances to organized crime networks who would then do home invasions and force account holders to withdraw their funds and turn their hard-earned saving over to the criminals.
We aren’t far from a crisis like that in the US.
Some details –

Hi, I’m from Russia. I’m 30 years old, so in 90th i was too young to understand that big fat ass where my country was.
Thank you very much for this article link, it was kinda shocking for me. Especially, NLMK and Soros.
I saw Stravinsky’s Sacre du Printemps at Carnegie Hall as a kid, standing room only. It was then I realized, best not to mess with the Russians. Awakening their atavism will only end in disaster for you.
I think the portion of the Western propaganda campaign demonizing all things Russian is aimed at the Western public, to keep them on board with spending all their money, and letting their economies be ruined.
The propaganda doesn’t have to be as convincing as it once was:
– The people are dumber, thanks to govt schools.
– Everything is narrative today, which overwhelms non-critical-thinking people.
– With pervasive social media, it’s much easier to group-think the sheeple into the newest thing.
– Govt and the Pravda press have lied and lied forever (yellow press!). It’s just far worse today.
– There are no longer any repurcussions for corruption, criminality, treason, and outright lies (JFK, RFK, MLK, USS LIBERTY, Vietnam, Iraq 1 and 2, Afghan, 911, Covid, vax, Russiagate hoax, elections, etc, etc.)
So the IO can now be quite sloppy. They also don’t care.
Continuing…
A perfect analogy to the declining requirement level of the propaganda is television advertisements. Absolutely zero sophistication in them today… geared to 75 IQ.
“Slime oozing out from your TV set”. What would Frank Zappa call it today?
a brick wall at the back of the theater. because the producers left the room and do not care.
Sadly so true.
Hap-hap-happy New Year…..
Kseniya Golovanova, from Interfax, asked a question that must be on the minds of many Russian citizens, if the American are introducing Patriot missile batteries into Ukraine, why can’t we too put nuclear first strike weapon systems in close proximity to the US?
And the President of the Russian Federation then proceeded to duck the question!
Unsuccessfully it turns out, because in Russia, if your President ducks a question, you are allowed as a journalist to immediately call him on it, and insist that he answer it.
Lmao … There is too much democracy going on over there it seems to me, and way too much freedom of the press. Russian reporters actually do their jobs, I mean what the f*ck is up with that?
These reporter were, at the end of the presser, anxious as to the Presidents health, was he taking care of himself, eating properly, doing his sports, and so one, which I thought was nice touch – he is a 70 year old man after all, who is known to work his ass off at all times.
Then again, maybe these worries are simple case of Russian journalists falling subliminal victims to Mr. Poopy Pants western propaganda,
“why can’t we too put nuclear first strike weapon systems in close proximity to the US?”
What does this retard reporter think SSBNs are, underwater food trucks?
Well I think in fairness to the reporter she was referring to anti-ballistic missile batteries. If you don’t have AMBs in close proximity to the enemy’s counter-strike arsenal, a nuclear first strike has no chance of success, even in theory.
I believe what she was asking; if the US is putting weapons in Ukraine that allow the US in theory to launch a successful first strike against us, why can’t we do the same to them?
But yes, except for a brief period in the mid to late 90s perhaps, Russian or Soviet SSBNs have been lurking off US coaslines for past 60 years. One of the reasons the Cuban Missile Crisis was pure symbolism, no matter how you look at it.
Oh my God, the Soviets are placing nuclear missiles 90 miles off our coast!!!
Meanwhile, in the real world, the Soviets always had plenty of nuclear missiles as close as 12 nautical miles* off the American coastline before, during, and long after the “crisis” came and went.
*But never closer than 12, because we know the Russians and/or the Soviets would ever think to break, international maritime laws.
I was at the airport’s train between the terminals and the notice ” Hold tight” was in multiple languages, including Russian, and I thought, “wow – they must have missed it in their anti-Russian zeal.”
I can see how hard the anti-Russian propaganda is wired in America. Russians have painted some sort of cruel orcs, while a vast % of YouTube’s videos showing people saving wild animals in trouble are Russians, who saved them.
I watched Max Blumenthal’s Sisyphus labors trying to get coherent answers from the congressmen about them sending yet another $45 billion of our hard-earned money to Ukraine vs. our own needs here in USA, and it’s painful to watch these “smug, corrupt, and overfed” “servants of people” to quote the title of Zelenksy’s original TV series, and hear their condescending bluff.

Ironically, it was Obama who showed me the deep-state was real. Being a dupe for MSM propaganda, I assumed the “hope and change” candidate would be a black George McGovern, as he campaigned.
It turns out Obama was and angel of death. He turned Libya, Syria, and Ukraine into failed states. Presided over the biggest refugee flow in Europe since WWII. He nearly caused a genocide of Copts in Egypt. He droned thousands – and bragged about it. He and Eric Holder helped found BLM, as a kind of woke-brownshirts, who agitated racial scabs for political ends.
Obama was also the only US President that dared take on the Kingly Privilege, and chose while in office to assassinate US citizens, ON THE RECORD.
Did it three times in fact. Unfortunately, no one called him on it. The Blue Team chose to ignore this legal, moral, and Constitutional abomination because Obama was their man, and the Red Team, who were busy painting him as a Black Muslim commie interloper devoid of a proper birth certificate, pretended they were unaware of what the President was up to, as to do otherwise, would be to admit that this lily-livered “leftist” traitor was actually twice as ruthless as they were in carrying out the right wing neo-liberal globalist agenda, which previous to him, had been their sole domain.
And the America media? It did what it always does when such matters arise, it wondered around in a state of dazed befuddlement, blissfully unaware that times they were a changin.’
I suppose you mean Anwar Nasser al-Awlaki and his teenage son and 8 year old daughter. All were naturalized American citizens. All were killed by US drones.
But the evil predates our Kenyan President. There were the Hoover files, JFK, RFK, MLK, Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Quantico lab fabrications…
Well they murdered a sitting president because he wanted to avoid the Viet Nam war and normalize relations with the Russians. He was a US citizen too.
I bought Obama’s “Medicare for All” scam in 2008 when I was living in Westhampton Beach, NY. I had fundraisers for him, did phone banking and as soon as he won who was the first person he called to The White House for lunch? Liz Fowler CEO of AHIP. “Americas Health Insurance Plans”.
And who personally killed “The Public Option” for Americans to buy into Medicare? Barack Obama.
Last time I voted Democrat.
What made the Affordable Care Act one for the history books, is the Republican Party wrote 57% of the bills provisions, then proceeded to vote unanimously against it in the House and Senate, which allowed them to, credibly in they eyes of their constituents, denounce the bill as a communtist takeover of America!
Too smart GOP!
As for Barrack Obama, the man came into office claiming his would be the most transparent administration ever, and literally the first thing he did was spend 6 hours behind closed doors with Big Pharma executives, assuring them that regardless of what any proposed health care bill would look like in its final iteration, their profits would SKYROCKET!
Too funny, it really is, how people think that things are broken inside the Beltway. Nothing could be further from the truth. Just because our government isn’t working for the nation-state it theoretically represents, does not mean it isn’t functioning like a perfectly oiled machine.
“So what is the ‘strategic goal’ in attacking all things Russian?”
The west no longer seeks a “color revolution” in Russia. Perhaps they think it’s beyond their reach…. Here’s what they *do* seek:
They’ve destroyed the Nordstream pipelines to ensure that Germany cannot negotiate.
The former German and French heads of state have publicly admitted that the Minsk accords were a lie and a ruse. They want to destroy *all* negotiation, and even the trust for diplomacy itself.
They want nuclear war, and will settle for nothing less. The “great reset”.
Not sure it’s nuclear war they want. If “victory” in such a war could somehow be guaranteed then sure, they’d love that. But the silent sensible voices will rise up to counter the crazies should they get close to running the nuclear football.
So, what is it they want? Seems to me the objective is to have enemies at the gate to scare the population into accepting ever tighter security at home as the US retreats into a period of ‘splendid isolation’ punctuated by neo-terrorism across the world’s daily lines. The aim will be the make the US seem an island of stability in a world of chaos, which will attract European industrial firms looking for reliable energy and global talent looking for an escape from chaos in their countries. The only thing they’ll have to give up is the freedom from (corporation captured) state control, which will intensify.
At a certain point the rest of the “free” world will start to look preferable — once the state sponsored terrorism has been defeated, the alternative financial/trade systems have been established and the infrastructure investments are spurring greater cross border trade, growth ad prosperity.
Then, once the reverse exodus of talent occurs the air gets sucked out of the US economy. The only question then is whether it deflates or pops. This I think is the game for the rest of the first half of this century.
More bad news for Biden.
🇸🇾 🇹🇷 Turkiye agrees to a complete withdrawal from Syria
▫️ The state-run Syrian Al-Watan newspaper: The trilateral meeting held in Moscow between Russia, Turkey and Syria concluded that Turkey agreed to complete withdrawal from NW Syria and respect Syria’s sovereignty.
Thanks @NATOISTAN for this news.
2022 is ending on a positive tone after all.
At least we have got something worth celebrating.
All that is left, is the withdrawal of US troops protecting Genie Oil’s theft of Syrian oil.
Rupert Murdoch and Lord Jacob Rothschild are major shareholders in Genie Energy, an Israeli-run company which has been granted the rights to explore for oil and gas in the southern half of the occupied Golan Heights (from the line beneath the words “Israeli occupied” down).
Now, you know why Trump recognized the Golan Heights as Israeli territory i.e. legitimate resource theft.

Bad news for those Kurds who have hitched their star to Washington.
Obviously, Erdogan was pleased with Assad’s dedication to a shared goal of taming Kurdish dreams of independence through American allegiance.
Washington- support a violent autonomy to those who swear allegiance and support violent suppression of autonomy also, to those who swear allegiance. Never mind the innconsistencies, no one will ever notice. Karl Rove’s perfect dreamweaving exercise in shaping human history.
Washington is an equal opportunity fiefdom, free of ideological niceties yet obsessed with proclaiming them as its humanitarian gift to the world. Sounds more and more like the British Empire of its heyday and its w-man’s burden. Quite disgusting actually. Pure vulture, not eagle. Puts me to shame, to be honest.
According to Turkish President Erdogan, the US tried to murder him prior to when Obama left office, and E. was warned in the nick of time by Russian Federation, thus saving his life.
As for western propaganda, how would success be defined? At this point in history, seems to me main goal of it is to continue perpetuating the lie [or illusion if that sound nicer] that USA is The Superpower.
Once this lie is shattered in the minds of the 100th Monkey, as it were. . . .the illusion itself become extinct.
For the rest of us not holding our breath waiting, sharing observations, including about Ukraine Crisis, is not hampered by this cognitive dissonance, this fragmented consciousness.
Another way to frame this issue Larry points to is asking: is west capable of anything except failing propaganda?
This 2016 Politico ditty demonstrate its rank and crass tomfoolery. These things are downright painful to read.

I am not a real Doctor but if I was, I would be standing smug in my white coat and asking.
“How do you feel about the quality of the propaganda you have been getting up to now?”
Adjusting my stethoscope and turning to the flowchart on the board behind I would explain that it is not your fault that you are getting second best. You should feel bad about it and yourself, you have a right to be mad about it too! It is enough to give you piles.
In fact that guy over there with the perfect smile, he or she or them is the main reason you have to put up with a basic generic propaganda. That smile took your happiness and safety away. How do you feel about that?
However there is an answer but only we have it….. Due to the discursive power of information confrontation we can help. If you act now our team of government approved Dental/Proctologi/mentors can fix your smile, piles and bank account in one online meeting.
At the end of the day there are a lot of people walking around who feel they have been shafted and it left a bad taste in their mouths. Still they did it to themselves and paid the bill.
In short it is not failing, it is just getting going. It has never been easier to get your message across, ie:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRFH9V6N/ref=sr_1_2?qid=1672471316&refinements=p_4%3ASmoothie+Scott+%26+Son+%28ar%29&s=apparel&sr=1-2
Everyone has the combined knowledge of the World in their pockets, we just have done a PP job of teaching people how to think and use that power.
It does depend on how close you are to either end of the propaganda too.
The poor sods on the pointy end tend to be the first to see through it on mass.
The propaganda is of course, primarily aimed at the Western public – as if their opinion matters for anything – vote for whoever – nothing seems to change. WRT Russia it seems at the best ineffective/useless, and as you note totally counterproductive in Russia.
But there is an even more important audience – the third world, where most of the world’s population, economic growth, manufacturing, and resources lie. And here, western propaganda and its lack of connection to reality and history is losing (bigly) to Russian propaganda.
No it’s working very well. Western adults are complete spineless cowards and even on trans issues can’t get off their fat asses to protest properly.
Phase two coming. Scotland police just published major report describing paedophiles as Minor attracted people, even has an acronym, MAP.
So destroying of youth and women, zero reaction in west, acceptance of paedophilia and de stigmatising zero reaction, so why the fuk should anyone care about a bunch of Russians and Ukranians, these are nations mutilating, brainwashing and destroying women and children and no man is taking a stand. If they do it’s very few who are shouted down.
The West is now a perverted sick society getting worse by the day.
Zionists are well on their way to subjugate the so called ‘west’ via:
– destruction of culture (cancel culture, “freedom of speech”=BAD, guns=BAD)
– destruction of family (LGBT-EFGHIGKLMNOP…, paedo=GREAT, drag/trans=GREAT)
– destruction of history (see destruction and ‘cancelation’ of Confederate monuments)
– destruction of health (narcotic drugs=GREAT, hashish=GREAT, healthcare cost=20% of GDP, life expectancy=down)
– destruction of law and order (examples are too numerous to mention)
– destruction of the economy (money printing / fiat, huge debts)
if the ‘west’ (those few, who still have some semblance critical thinking and are not 100% obedient to the emerging totalitarian regime) does not wake up in the next few years, it’s DONE: the movie “Mad Max” is the ‘west’s’ future.
…and the God-hating, bloody Zionists laughing all the way to the bank!!!
“…mad tyrant…”
LOL this is a strong projection. When one finger pints at someone, three are pointing right back.
Western MSM is way beyond despicable.
mr. johnson- i think more people are waking up to the phony agenda and ridiculous news reporting which is taylor made for the people with the mentality of 5th graders with no critical thinking skills. Since many in other countries know sense USA weakness know; i think it is harder for these foreign coups since the leadership of these countries know there is an alternative.
i had a hypothetical discussion with someone who is up on world events as i am and asked him what would happen if somehow russia took over the usa and canada and imposed their type of goverment on us. Would we be better or worst off. IF this occurred the trans global homo agenda would be gone, global warming green nonsense gone , the borders would be guarded with troops and drones, taxes would be lower , infrastructure rebuilding and reindustrialization would begin again, have energy and food independence, honest and fair trade for the most part with other nations, defense budget cut down drastically since no need and for the most part competent people would be put into positions of authority. i could be wrong but i think we would be better in the long run than in 2019 before the 2020 fauci event when under trump the economy was beginning to rock and roll again. am not saying we would be living in a paradise but i think we would be allot better off than know under the dependz guy in the white house. a few years ago there was a commentator who said that this time if the russian troops would roll into berlin they would not be fought but welcomed as liberators.
Mr. johnson- am listing this since your site is mentioned by name at the 38 minute 59 second mark and also in the roadmap document . the overall discussion of the podcast will not be everyones cup of tea since the show is very critical of the state of israel.

“IS WESTERN PROPAGANDA FAILING?”
Communication is a lateral process in hoped facilitation of purpose(s) which varies with interlocutors through various vectors whom some perceive as the “target audience”, ergo primarily objects not subjects with agency, and tend to attempt to evaluate perceived outcomes by linear binaries including silences/non-silences which are speculated upon.
Consequently some, mostly in the “West” – a propaganda construct , believe in the power of “American propaganda” and in times of perceived trouble pose questions such as “Is Western Propaganda failing?” without defining propaganda, and hence pose the obfuscating question as a function of framing thereby facilitating a desired “answer” which lessens motivations to perceive and/or ask more pertinent questions on bases that they already “know”.
The West does communicate, but not normally the communication that they wish to communicate as a function of self-absorption which some opponents refer to as absorbtion – those who absorb including themselves , and hence to their opponents “Western propaganda mostly fails and has done so since “we the people hold these truths to be self-evident”, through increasing vectors with increased velocities, due to choices of what to attempt to communicate, how to attempt to communicate in furtherance of purposes of bullshit and ball grabbing which “should” be obfuscated, and how to evaluate these efforts of attempts to communicate, whilst simultaneously their opponents evaluate that Western propaganda being based in significant part on “discoveries” of Mr. Bernays, Mr. Goebbells, Mr. Jacques Ellul, Mr. Elias Canetti and other “authorities”, is not failing in aiding the purposes of their opponents, since neither omniscience nor perfection are options within lateral processes.
Consequently a growing sum of some find “Western propaganda” to be a source of the ridiculous which to some degree brings merriment and/or anger in times of trouble thereby helping to reduce “stress levels” and not failing in this purpose given shit is a hard sell, but not to the level that they can “feel their pain” in regard to those attempting to communicate “propaganda”.
Thank you for your further illustration of the matters discussed in :
https://sonar21.com/why-intelligence-fails-a-round-table-discussion-with-gonzalo-lira-larry-johnson-and-john-kiriakou/.
“As someone who played a minuscule role in a CIA information operation that targeted Soviet military operations in Afghanistan in November 1985, I feel somewhat qualified to comment on the mammoth propaganda campaign the United States and Europe have unleashed on Russia.”
On the bases of the limited comments above and other matters not included in the limited comments above, let me suggest that your article is appreciated, but not necessarily for the reasons you may believe.
Let’s just cut to the chase and call US propaganda what it is:
Lying.
“Let’s”
There is no us (‘s).
To transcend what requires significant knowledge of what and how is what facilitated, with the complicity of those who think they define what as force multipliers – not short circuiting these processes as is “The American Way”.
Thank you for your resort to ignorance as reflex in illustration of :
“The West does communicate, but not normally the communication that they wish to communicate as a function of self-absorption which some opponents refer to as absorbtion – those who absorb including themselves “
As a Hungarian I would like to add another, recent and failed attempt:
https://hungarytoday.hu/intelligence-services-opposition-received-more-than-4-million-euros-from-the-us/
https://hungarytoday.hu/anti-government-ngos-receive-direct-eu-funding/
So we have about 8M euros, as the visible tip of the proverbial iceberg. To put it in scale, adjusted for GDP on PPP difference, its the equivalent of some foreign power pouring over 4 BILLION USDs into one half of the Uniparty.
Whoever organised this, managed to pick a certain Peter Márky-Zay to unite the opposition “from the fascists to the liberls in a rainbow-coalition”. The guy was called a “raving lunatic” by even opposition journos, and the result was:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Hungarian_parliamentary_election
A tad over 3 million votes for Fidesz/Orbán vs. a tad under 2M votes for the united opposition/Márki-Zay.
Compare this to the 2018 result of Fidesz 2,7M votes vs the totalled opposition votes of cca 2,5M.
“The last successful Western engineered coup was in Ukraine in February 2014.”
Try to remember Mr. Chou en Lai’s response when asked if in his view the French Revolution had been a success – It is too soon to know – whilst not interpreting this response as in reference to “French revolutions” around fixed points of 1968, but of 1789 on an assumption that Mr. Chou en Lai did not have a “wicked sense of humour” like many intelligent leaders” with extensive responsibilities who do not resort to “comfort blankets” like the formerly quite sober in context Mr. Yeltsin, formerly the “arranger” in Sverdlovsk and other parts of The Urals.
Thank you for further illustrating some of the matters discussed in https://sonar21.com/why-intelligence-fails-a-round-table-discussion-with-gonzalo-lira-larry-johnson-and-john-kiriakou/ in regard to “premature ejaculations”.
That’s right up there with Mahatma Ghandi who, on his first visit to London, was asked what he thought of Western civilization. He said he thought it would be a good idea…..
What is appalling with the western propaganda is not just how they display Russia, but how they display themselves. Not as strong warriors, not as a strong nation, but as a puzzled nation, that is in fight with itself. So, the counterpart to Russia is not superior.
They are suffering from Pre-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Under normal circumstance, they would have ordered a no fly zone and immediate NATO bombing of the Donbass, even as far back as in 2014.
But they can’t with Russia and the ever-building stress is killing them.
Top analysis here on the coming fall of Germany, courtesy of US UK.
The EU
I described already the concept “Single point of influence”. Of course, if you want to maintain an empire, you will try to manage it effectively. If you have hundreds of small countries to micromanage, you will need to employ a huge effort to do so. It is better, to form “alliances”, where the dependent states must be part of. And as soon as they are in these alliances, both economically and militarily (NATO), they will need to do, what the “single point of influence” is telling you. In the EU, this is Germany. Or it was. We will see how this will proceed. In NATO, of course the US themselves. Yes, in theory, there is a veto right. But no-one can veto anything. Turkey can, because Turkey is on a geopolitically crucial geographic position. Turkey could perhaps even attack American bases and it could maybe be tolerated with some degree. With Turkey, the US can control the Bosporus and this is far more important than anything else. For Russia as well.
Unfortunately, for Germany, everything is changing now. Germany felt very comfortable in its position as the leading power in the EU. And as the economic powerhouse. I think, it is very clear to the German leadership, what the American plan is regarding its industry. I assume, that there will be a very hard struggle over the leadership of the EU between Germany, France and Britain. Yes, you read right. Britain, which is no longer a member. I have my reasons, why I write this here. Maybe I’ll describe it another time.
In fact, if Germany deindustrializes, it won’t be the “main slave” anymore. Or the “single point of influence” or the leader of the EU. I think that the German establishment is opposing this. Not the green government, they are pushing it on the behalf of the US. But industrial leaders and other establishment members are slowly forming resistance against what is going on.
https://bmanalysis.substack.com/p/germany
“In fact, if Germany deindustrializes, it won’t be the “main slave” anymore. Or the “single point of influence” or the leader of the EU.”
That is one of the consequences of failing to ponder “What is for afters ?” but having a premature ejaculation instead.
You forgot to mention black sheep and their role in leading others into the abbatoir.
The Minsk machinations of Merkel and Hollande have guaranteed the eventual demise of Germany and France into de-industrialized backwaters serving wonder bread brioche, courtesy of their corporate American masters in perpetuity.
Vive la France
“have guaranteed ”
Certainty is a function of religion not strategy.
This is the watershed moment. First, the US proclaimed that the real front was on the financial side with Russia whining for mercy in a matter of days. Then, as the blowback was in full swing, the military maps were the new real thing. Now, the EU has found itself in a corner, unable to run the show, and with only two options. Either shaking the hand of Vlad or escalating in the Russophobia stance. And this were the situation appears so pathetic for the EU. They are left, alike Zelinsky, flapping in the wind like a lame duck, putting down Russian statues or burning books while retreating on the front. I can’t wait for 2023 )
Correction Larry, it’s President Poopie Pants not Mr. Poopie Pants. You obviously do not appreciate alliteration.
Most modern societies are steeped in propaganda. The advent of mass media brought in the age of mass manipulation. It’s been happening for a long time, but, WW1 probably marks the beginning of mass propaganda in earnest. The fact that FDR is considered one of our “greatest” Presidents instead of one of our worst, lays testament to the power of propaganda. It’s taught in our school, our entertainment and our news media. Our culture is steeped in propaganda.
In war the first casualty is always truth. You gotta get the masses hyped up into supporting a stupid cause for which they will receive no benefit, but certain harm. And young men full of testosterone and bravado are especially susceptible.
I highly recommend the book “Twas a Famous Victory” by Benjamin Colby. It talks about the propaganda used to foment hatred of the Germans in WW2. Unfortunately we still suffer from this today. If the history you learn is wrong, the lessons you learn from that history are also wrong. Thus, we are constantly being instigated into starting a new war to fight the chimera of an evil Adolf.
Hi Alex,
Agreed with all, but with a liddle correction — do not discard the most “inventive empire” yet! The British did not only invent the modern propaganda (filming their field hospital being “attacked” by their own artillery claiming to be the Boers, to “encourage support” for the war at home), but they were also the first to use the concentration camps.
And it all happened between 1899 and 1902 in South Africa during the 2nd Boer War.
Cheers, JaKo
Regime Change worked well in Armenia (in 2017? 18? ) when they forced Pashinyan in and Russia-friendly Sargsyan out. Street rioters taking over the Presidential palace had the US embassador (locals affectionately called her “horse face”) praise this sudden outburst of freedom loving democrats.
Lots of US-Armenians from Glendale, CA were there too, backing the change and openly proclaiming they came for a revolution. I was there. I saw it. I talked to them.
Every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks Hitler and Goebbels were the first master propagandists, but you should read the chapter in Mein Kampf where Hitler describes his admiration for the Anglo mastery of propaganda:
“Proof of how brilliantly [the English] understood that the feeling of the masses is something primitive was shown in their policy of publishing tales of horror and outrages which fitted in with the real horrors of the time, thereby cleverly and ruthlessly preparing the ground for moral solidarity at the front, even in times of great defeats. Further, the way in which they pilloried the German enemy as solely responsible for the war–which was a brutal and absolute falsehood–and the way in which they proclaimed his guilt was excellently calculated to reach the masses, realizing that these are always extremist in their feelings.
And thus it was that this atrocious lie was positively believed. The effectiveness of this kind of propaganda is well illustrated by the fact that after four-and-a-half years, not only was the enemy still carrying on his propagandist work, but it was already undermining the stamina of our people at home.”
This is one of Hitler’s descriptions of the power of the Big Lie:
“All this was inspired by the principle–which is quite true in itself–that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to
fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire
together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes.”
That, gentle reader, is what the West is demonstrating in spades in all sorts of matters these days, except that the West has repeatedly portrayed the Russians as clownish and incapable, a mistake Hitler noticed in German WW1 propaganda that he felt worked contrary to its own purposes:
“It was, for example, a fundamental mistake to ridicule the worth of the enemy as the Austrian and German comic papers made a chief point of doing in their propaganda. The very principle here is a mistaken one; for, when they came face to face with the enemy, our soldiers had quite a different impression. Therefore, the mistake had disastrous results. Once the German soldier realised what a tough enemy he had to fight he felt that he had been deceived by the manufacturers of the information which had been given him. Therefore, instead of strengthening and stimulating his fighting spirit, this information had quite the contrary effect. Finally he lost heart.”
It’s this last bit I think of when I repeatedly read in the Western media how the Russians are running out of men, rockets, willpower, shooting duds, abandoning tanks on the battlefield, etc., especially from former Vets. Too many of them believe the bullshit spoon-fed to them by Western media and think the march to Moscow will be a cakewalk. I would imagine by the rhetoric that many of the current military leadership and their civilian masters believe that same BS
Don’t dismiss Juan Giudo just yet. With enough spin and the creative bullshit he could be the new leader of Russia in exile. Sounds like a mission for Elliot Abrams.
Won’t Guido’s expulsion now free up billions of dollars currently being held back by the EU etc. from Venezuela??
You’re cute when you think logically. That would assume that ‘exceptional’ Washington would be willing to eat a little crow. Never gonna happen.
After thinking about for a while this *might* provide an explanation for Merkel’s, and now Hollande’s mea culpa regarding Minsk II. It’s curious why they’re talking *now*.
I do believe Merkel’s phone was tapped and that Germany was blackmailed by the US. However, it’s possible that there are powerful factions in Germany and France who want to preserve the relationship with Russia and others that want to destroy Russia. Now, facing disaster, both of them want avoid blame, and are pointing fingers at the US from behind their backs. The US military simply lacks the power to go toe to toe with Russia and is going to LOSE this fight and take France, Germany, NATO down with it.
I definitely agree that Merkel & Hollande’s admissions of having negotiated in bad faith are a prelude to something. Poroshenko’s earlier admission came as no surprise to anyone. He’s just a grifter, but Merkel & Hollande represent ostensibly serious countries with serious Foreign Ministries and a long diplomatic history.
Their strikingly candid admissions pull the rug out from under everything Europe/NATO has been saying since Minsk. Their admission of personal culpability doesn’t change that fact by one iota. It was all a lie. The EU/NATO’s propaganda of an “unprovoked, aggressive attack on a sovereign state” hasn’t just failed. M & H blew it up just as effectively as the US/UK/PL blew up Nordstream.
Whatever one thinks of them, they’re both seasoned politicians who know what they’ve just done and what effect their words will have. They simply wouldn’t have uttered them to no political purpose.
I believe/hope that they spoke in order to open some political running room for the sober minded factions within the EU to try to rewind the tape of Russian – EU relations. That they appear to have sacrificed their own reputations and legacies towards a greater good may ultimately rebound to their credit if it succeeds.
It may lead nowhere of course, but it sure looks like a sea change cometh.
How can admitting that you lied help your legitimacy or trustworthiness as a diplomat? We are not talking about a lease for a weekend cottage here, it was about war and peoples’ lives.
When you add to that Schultz as Chancellor and his incompetence, how can you possibly say: “but Merkel & Hollande represent ostensibly serious countries with serious Foreign Ministries and a long diplomatic history.” The observable reality of today’s European diplomatic Corps is its subservience and incompetence. Where is the high diplomacy when a German minister refuses to shake hands with Putin, how child like.
God help the People of Europe.
I think you missed the point…
Did you miss the part where I wrote that they “…sacrificed their own reputations and legacies”?
IOW, the only reason I can think of for M & H’s self-immolation is to make room for those who would reverse course. They themselves, of course couldn’t, but by exposing the big lie that underpins the whole Western narrative, they’ve sent it reeling. That they did so in mainstream media in the 2 most important EU countries who then published it indicates that the forces they’re trying to enable are significant.
As for the rest, it sounds like you’re conflating the present’s and historical realities. I don’t know what to say about that except that M & H’s revelations make the entirety of the EU’s diplomats look like G2 AI automatons attempting to perpetuate what is now exposed as a lie.
Thanks for your response .
Let us agree that diplomacy is to never expose your truth, but also to never lie. Never lying affords a diplomat a way out from a tight corner to continue probing for a solution. Should the game of diplomacy end, war is usually on the horizon.
So for M & H to admitt they are liars and as you indicated they sacrificed their reputations. In effect, they ended dipomacy and probing for solutions. Instead, they are signaling they are waiting for a war they planned in 2014.
My amazement is how stupid can M & H end diplomacy, regardless of any consideration, when they have nothing to wage war with, except, the lives of Ukrainians?
Germany and France aren’t worth a minute’s more time for speculation. They are now dishonored, insignificant dead-nations walking and dregs of what they could once have been.
Did the last Polish PM die in a plane crash about 10 years back. Not sure if his allegiance then was to the west or east. Another mystery we will never know.
In Smolensk. Allegiance to the west. Some Poles still say it was a planned downing by the Russians, in spite of all evidence to the contrary. It’s Poles, after all.
The collective west are the wolves in the zoot suits. That’s just fabulous! My favorite cartoon as kid.that
“A professional, competent intelligence agency would use propaganda to support a broader strategic goal.”
Old habits do die hard as is often illustrated.
A professional, competent intelligence agency would use other’s propaganda by remaining silent obviating the necessity to engage in “propaganda”.
Happy New Year Larry. Love the site and your knowledgeable opinions.
Just curious as to your thoughts on the supposed rash of high profile deaths of Russian oligarchs? Wonder if these are in fact true deaths or made up to sow the seeds that there is trouble in Russia.
Makes me wonder. I want to ask The Saker the same question.
Thanks again for a great daily read
I really doubt Russia is overly concerned about what Page 3 Nudie Girl Sun has to say.
I think a point worth noting is, that as the west becomes a dictatorship, there are people in America who probably like it. I live in St. Louis, and I’ve seen four people wearing pro-admin T-shirts; two the old Biden for president, one with a “GOP=Sedition” and “Lock him (Trump) up.” Of these, three were old people, two were masked. These types obviously want a dictator. After Covid, the system knows they have at least 25 percent of the population on their side. A liberal woman I knew for many years always called liberals “human beings.” So, what she and others like her believed was always ready to turn dictatorial, given the right leader and P.R. angle. By the way, she was a big vaccine advocate. “Not to wear a mask is the height of arrogance,” she wrote me. She died this spring. From a fall, they said, and being 77, that’s possible, but no obit. no funeral, just a memorial service six months later. Die from the vaccine? Who knows? No one talks about it.
Even with so many revelations, esp. Kennedy’s book on Fauci, no one talks about this, and the official line is ready to start another lockdown, and again, I think a certain part of the population were happy being told what to do. Propaganda? Yes, but also an innate desire to be ordered around. I think this is simply a matter of our species, seeking a pack leader.
I’d hope propaganda would be exposed as lies, but what is the historical record? Germans are still seen as Nazis. Richard III still a bloodthirsty murdering monster (Okay, he likely killed the princes, but he wasn’t any worse than anyone else going after the throne then), or Cleopatra still seen as a licentious minx ready to lead Rome into moral/eastern degradation. Some lies die very hard.
As Gore Vidal said, in America everyone in the system lies because if America became truthful, everything would fall apart.
This is very true, some people and I count a few family members in that, are happy to be told what to do and when to do it. For weak people this can bevery comforting, even if its the wrong thing to do they won’t be responsible for the bad advice, it’s always comforting to blame others for your mistakes.
That being said, this is not hyet the time to revolt. Mainly in my opinion the system is busily destroying itself, I like the idea of letting them do it and not impede the efforts.
There will be time to take up arms, I fervently pray that we won’t have to use them, but fear that we might so it pays to be ready to do what is necessary.
The propagada is actually hilarious once you take the Red Pill and open your awareness there really is no going back. It is so transparent and sophomoric, and getting more ridiculous by the day.
One tell is that the Spending Orgy Bill ramrodded therough congress allocate $4 million per member of Congress for “personal security” .
They know.
It was Napoleon who is reputed to have said “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
He then went on to prove the veracity of that maxim.
There is probably a Sun Thursday quote somewhere to the same effect.
Lmao, I hate auto correct!!
Sun Tzu!
But maybe by next Thursday hopefully
Actually Western propaganda is working very well, against the Western populace. How else do you explain the fact that even as the ordinary citizens are becoming impoverished by the hours, there are still no serious challenge to the status Quo?
The Western propaganda wars have always been successfully fought mainly against the Western populace. Except in some third world countries, the Western open support for any revolutionary cause has always been the death-kiss.
“I have never seen anything so perverse and so dishonest.”
I guess you were not looking much into Yugoslavia related mess. Those Ukrainian false flag massacres/rapes/whatever are amateur stuff compared to Yugoslavia or even Syria.
And from Neocon Central Command, the laugh of the week

Everything is about projection nowdays. I guess that linked article could make sense if USA is considered the Soviet Union of this century.
Don’t guess Sukhoi, it is a fact.
Soviet Union had healthcare and education for poor people. USA is still pretty far from going full Soviet, comrades.
In other news, Russians just ran out of fighter jets, by sending the remaining ones to Iran. 🙂
https://www.zerohedge.com/military/russia-reportedly-supply-iran-24-advanced-sukhoi-fighter-jets
I also heard, Russian troops are not very cold weather fighters and are poorly equipped for this can of fighting.
Yep. Those AK rifles are definitely not the best in freezing conditions.

Juan Guaido – Random Guaido – the man whose wikipedia entry was started a week before Trump named him as Venezuelan President.
That’s Guano to you.
Happy Old Year to everyone! 3 hours to go here.
Propaganda is primairly aimed at one’s own citizens.
Russian propaganda: playing speeches and news clips of US / EU politicians for the Russian audience.
They don’t need to make shit up.
“They don’t need to make shit up.”
No it is a conscious choice.
Making shit up is anathema to some since their ongoing purposes include but are not limited to, the transcendence of “The Soviet Union” by The Russian Federation, within which opponents are complicit as force multipliers by making shit up in the belief that others will “share their belief” due to ideological constructs such as “human nature”.
To the “externals”, either tell the truth because few will believe you as a function of “we the people hold these truths to be self-evidently not the truths”, or be silent since not all are insecure enough to break silences whilst some are insecure enough due to their “socialisation”, but never indulge in propaganda – that is the role of the opponents who conflate communication with propaganda as in ” Russian propaganda: playing speeches and news clips of US / EU politicians for the Russian audience.” which they evaluate as illustrating the power of “Western propaganda” since we are so significant thereby making shit up, and over time drown in their own shit and where-the-fuck-are-weness, thereby facilitating “How to drown a drowning man with the minimum of blowback ?”, an option not available to “The United States of America” as a function of their self-perceived purposes and beliefs that the drowning man is the other.
I live in Canada. I avoid American/Western news channels, to the point where I purposely tune it out even if it shows up on my feed.
I’ve started to wake up when I found alternative voices on the Internet in the mid-2000s during the Iraq War, finding RT News was the watershed moment for me. From there finding alternative voices started.
It looks to me like the strategy is to flood the channels with so much bull$h!t that lay people simply can’t sort through it. To fend off cognitive dissonance, your typical person just trying to live their life opts for a simple narrative because of the peace of mind it appears to offer. This really the theme of The Matrix movies. The Catholic church ran this operation for over a millennium but they promised a solution to the frustrating conundrum of mortality. Right now the US needs to up its offering to coax people into beliefs they know are untrue.
The difference between an empirical thinker and a Unification Church follower is their tendency to try to cross reference data collected with narratives provided. If the propaganda factory keeps churning out stories that contradict evidence like religion does, there needs to be a reward like salvation to keep the targets focused.
If anything right now I feel like the ask to accept Uncle Sam as lord and savior isn’t compelling enough to keep the believers coming on Sunday. It used to be the obviously superior quality of life in the US and some plausible trappings of democracy. I can’t tell what’s on offer now from the US.
“The Catholic church ran this operation for over a millennium”. Based on what Ukraine is doing to the Orthodox church at the moment, it loks like they still do……..
Articles on the war in Ukraine and Russia going more and more dysfunctional are a staple of the Sun, The Economist and the Guardian and a must read for their entertainment value. Whereas US papers, The Atlantic, The Daily Beast, Foreign Policy and the like are at time also entertaining on this subject, the British ones are beyond parody.
I read on the Web a comment a while ago: “The Economist, a British tabloid…”. Right he was.
I respectfully disagree. I am ex-Military and ex-Police. So, you can imagine my echo chamber and friends. For people who would not agree with Biden over the Sun rising? Total mind numbed agreement on Ukraine. “Muh country fighting for freedom”. Ukraine is a lie. Covid was a lie. The Patriot Act was a lie/conspiracy. There are innocent men and women locked up over the J6 FBI entrapment. If the propaganda was not working? Buildings would be on fire, and ripe fruit would be hanging from every light pole. The Western propaganda and Hollywood fantasy world is fine. Reality is getting more and more intrusive. But so far, it’s fine. And the sheep graze.
This is a really good point. That said, are cracks appearing ?
Now that Russia is now no longer a communist hell-hole, I did smile when Putin began complaining about buyers like the EU trying to control prices. Although a very polite man, I did wonder if, while speaking, in his mind, he was thinking ‘bloody communists’.
“…communist hell-hole…”
Oh great, another Hollyweird watching ‘commie basher’. These types never talk about the neo-liberal capitalist hellholes do they?
Of course he wasn’t. His worldview is based on personal experience and not on Hollywood/CNN or, God forbid, US education system.
Ukraine is bottom land located at the terminus of many large rivers. As a result of its geologic history, it contains enormous quantities of untapped mineral and oil & gas reserves. This is the prize that the West was hoping to exploit by installing a corrupt puppet government via the Maidan Coup. Crimea is important because it controls most of the offshore reserves in the Azov and Black seas. Europe desperately needs these reserves to be developed and sent west. Russia interceded to prevent this exploitation and now controls all the key regions possessing these resources.
There is no Plan B for the West. Soon Europe will have no choice but to capitulate to Russia and become its bitch. And that will be the death blow to US hegemony. Only a collapse and second Revolutionary War can save the US.
‘Saving the US’ means perpetuating the corrupt establishment that has been running the country for generations. The whole thing needs to be burned to the ground, with pols and their sponsors hanging from streetlights and telephone poles across the land.
The police have been militarized and posse comitatus invalidated. The ‘revolution’ will be the foreign military policy of the US turned against its own citizenry.
If we can somehow avoide getting incinerated and simply go through a collapse of the government, the Deep State parasite should die along with it.
There will be plenty of hardship to go around, but it will purge us of the poisons and we will be the stronger for it. We’ll make new and better, more localized arrangements for our lives, and hopefully wise enough to look at what spawned out of Washington and be in guard never to let something like that ever grow again.
We probably should build a wall around the beltway leaving whatever is left as a lesson and warning to future generations.

You are the best Larry, have a good 2023 ahead!
For a good understanding of what is happening in the world, I would suggest the book
“Political Ponerology: The Science of Evil, Psychopathy and the Origins of Totalitarianism”
by Andrew Lobaczekski
https://www.amazon.com/Political-Ponerology-Science-Psychopathy-Totalitarianism/dp/1734907452
An excellent review of the book can be found here:

Wartime propaganda for boosting morale and screwing that of the enemy is one thing, treating your own citizens, the American citizens, as laboratory rats, lying to them, misleading them in the most abject manner, is something else and I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around it. I used to love that country, the USA, but now I loathe it.
Listen to this press conference with General Milley. He states it is impossible to the Russians to overrun Ukraine, so the billions of dollars of aid continues. He doesn’t say unlikely, or would be difficult, he assures Congress and the American people it can’t happen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OEbC60v6z4
Listen to Larry’s round table from about a day or two ago. They point blank tell you that we were lied to about WMD’s. If they lie about that, they’ll lie about everything else.
I always agreed with the lefties that “Bush lied, people died,” but I thought the lie was trying to conflate WMDs with 9/11. I think most people at the time wanted to avenge 9/11, and Bush’s lie was trying to slide a second war in as being related to our response. (For reference, I voted for Bush both times and I generally liked his presidency. But he really stepped in it with Iraq and that deserves to overshadow any good that he did.)
But if you listen to their round table, it sounds like there was much more to the LIE than that. What I wrote above is a lie by omission. It sounds like they were guilty of far more than that.
It is looking like President Putin’s biggest challenge going into the new year wull be to finish up the Ukraine war without overly humiliating the USA and NATO to the degree that they do something stupid, something we cannot recover from.
Biden’s biggest challenege is deciding what to have for lunch.
“Chicken or tuna salad, today, Joe?”
I’m not confident that he has the faculties to even understand the question.
Presidents Biden and Putin sit down to eat lunch in a nice restaurant. The Waiter asks Putin what he will have.
“Steak,” says Putin.
“And the vegetable?” asks the waiter
“He will have the same,” says Putin.
Happy New Years y’all
I absolutely HATE the American press and their dizzy, dingbat “journalists”. (To better understand what I’m referring to, just turn on CNN. Definition applies to either sex.) These professional liars and the Traitors in the FBI were “all-in” on the Hillary-generated Russian Collusion theory designed and orchestrated to take down a newly elected president. Thus, Vladimir Putin and the Russians had to be cast in an unfavorable, even evil, light. This same Big Lie continues, and “Republicans” who voted to finance the continuing slaughter of the Ukrainians may be the biggest suckers of all for believing it.
Our relationship with Russia could have been mutually beneficial, and the meat grinder that has now become Ukraine could have been avoided altogether. I consider most of America’s news media to be Traitors — for all the deadly lies they’ve helped to peddle. But, someday, they will all pay for their sins. All-knowing, all-seeing Triune JEHOVAH tells us in the book of Revelation that: “All LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is THE SECOND DEATH.” (Revelation 22:8)
Now, now, Chris, everybody at CNN KNOWS that there are at least 293 genders (you can’t say “sex”, that’s racist).
Traitors, though? Definitely. Treason is defined as “the betrayal of allegiance toward one’s own country, especially by committing hostile acts against it or aiding its enemies in committing such acts.” So treason involves aiding the enemy, whoever that is. What’s the betting you’ve been fighting the same one since 1776?
I just got kicked off of Disqus on another page. Although I probably deserve to get kicked off because of all the politically incorrect comments I make, in the past I have just opened a new account and was back in business again. (Jews, Gays, Globohomo, the push to make us all be involved romantically with someone of another race, etc. It’s mostly tongue in cheek, but I hit all the hot buttons.)
This time something happened that has never happened before. I got kicked off of both Disqus and the related Gmail account at the same time. All my posts were deleted from Disqus and my Gmail account was suspended. I thought they were two separate companies. How did that happen when two separate companies are involved?
I believe it had to do with my posting screen caps of this very article on Disqus.
We learned how the FBI is basically running Twitter. How much you want to bet reposting that article is what triggered the current ban. If that’s what happened, that’s about as un-American as it gets.
Think about it. D i s q u s and Google are two separate operations. How else would they know to Nuke both accounts unless big brother was involved?
The future the ‘west’ is gonna have: comply to the jew/zionist controlled world (gmail/google, bing/littlesoft, meta/mugbook, all “MSM”, hollywood, etc. etc.) or get cancelled (next steps: imprisoned or physically exterminated — for the “good” of the “rest of the society”, of course).
And why did people think the “1984” was about the USSR?!
There are Intellectuals and American Patriots, fully aware, it was EXISTENCE of Soviet Union, its internal rot, which turned former USA into a MAGNET.
Loss of polarity, may cause unpredictable and undesirable consequences.
Pendulum keeps on swinging.
The threat of “communism” made US billioners give their employees decent wages and working conditions. Once the threat was gone they could all go full Jeff Bezzos (minimal wages and no toilet break), which they did.
It’s New Years’. Martyanov posted these kids on his blog 6 months ago as he is wont to do and they make beautiful music. Martyyanov, when only the best will do. Here they are:

No, not Mighty Mouse. Mighty Bear is more like it.
The British intelligence apparatus is an “expert” in this field. They’ve concocted so much propaganda to start or prolong a war as no one else can. The previous empire had nothing left but this “skill.” Now, the current GAE is a mirror image of the previous one. Btw, the GAE has engaged in over 450+ military actions since its inception, not including covert actions. No wonder the majority of the world hates its guts by pillaging, raping, and colonizing other smaller countries. Now, facing the REAL “enemies,” they can only use words to fight, lol. Only one system can survive- unipolar or multi-polar. We’ll see.
The propaganda is also failing in the developing world where most of the world’s people live, most of the economic growth is occurring, and most of the critical resources for a high-tech economy are, compared to Russia and Chinese propaganda.
Looks like they got Lula in. Typical Western election shenanigans with one dominant state supplying a massive Lula win to cancel an otherwise Bolsanaro victory with a corrupt supreme court behind it all.
Army tried to support Bolsonaro but four key generals went for Lula and wouldn’t invoke their election oversight powers.
No one seems to know what’s actually going on in Brazil. Popular protests will likely be a factor once Lula is inaugurated.
Their supreme court is already restricting gun access.
That’s what bullies do 😉
Hey, Bill Says: I think you may be right. I’ve got this old book, written by John Stormer, first published in 1964, called None Dare Call It TREASON. It seems as though the undercurrent of Satanic Marxist Socialism has always existed in America, just right below the surface. (For example, Wilson’s New World Order and FDR’s New Deal were both precursors of American-style Communism and massive government debt.) Let’s just hope that a few brave souls from inside the Freedom Caucus will attach the right word to what the FBI leadership and Deep State bureaucrats did in a) attempting to overthrow a duly elected president and b) In collusion with Big Tech, prevent the American people from getting a full and accurate report about the Hunter Biden Laptop and doings of the Biden family. The word that needs to be attached to the crime is: TREASON.

I noticed there was another deluge of “running out of missiles” again last night.
When facts to not serve your purpose, just lie about it to the sheep.
Here is a link to ‘The Daily Mail’ hosted by Matt Drudge’ regarding Putin’s health, 31 December 2022.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11588115/Putin-rages-against-West-New-Year-message-people-Fatigued-dictator-appears-state-TV.html
The Daily Mail ‘Putin rages against the West in New Year message to his people: Fatigued dictator appears on state TV’
[BTW what makes Putin a dictator?]
‘Putin, 70, looked strained and worn as he addressed Russians on television’
[repeated word for word multiple times in the article]
‘He coughed at several points, and appeared weary and aged in a message broadcast’
‘Putin launched Ukraine invasion while suffering with ‘megalomania’ brought on by cancer drugs’
I only got halfway through the article, it was too much repitious crap to endure.
Putin looked healthy to me even during the worst 1 minute video segment that the Daily Mail could find to host on their website. True, he did cough, my throat gets dry if I talk or present in a meeting.
For the USA , looking the health of the Russian president is a convenient way of NOT looking at the health of their own president. (I wish Brandon a winter of … well you know the line)
It’s a well known technique ; “reverse accusation” , blaming your own fails on the ones opposing you. It’s kind of systematically used this days. Like looking at your depleted ordinances stocks and then pretending the enemy has nearly no missiles left… six month later , missiles are still flying but sure : the Russians have no ammo left ; it’s flying-washing-machines they use to bomb now ?
“It’s kind of systematically used this days.”
You’ve forgotten the conditioner, brush and comb.
It’s kind of systematically used this days by some systems, whilst the occurences are used not restricted to this days, by lateral thinkers to encourage some systems to more systematically use not restricted to this days but all days, by not concurring.
Such is one of the wondernesses of wonderland.
There was also the prepared putsch in Belarus. Although it seemed a pretty feeble attempt.
“Although it seemed a pretty feeble attempt.”
Feebleness was partly facilitated by old age and provision of free walking sticks.
