Yes they are illegal presence in United States. I’m from India. Lived 15 years in USA came legally, worked and stayed legally, after 5 years decided to apply for a green card. Was approved after 11 years but i had moved back to India years back for personal reasons.
Paid taxes, brought and sold a home, paid social Security for all those years.
Now my company wanted me again in 2020 but couldn’t move in 2020 because of Covid, again for another position in 2021 again couldn’t move because visas were closed.
Company keeps paying me stock options to keep me.
But now I actually want to return there for few years to be closer to my aged relatives who are near end of life but getting suitable and justifiable opening is a challenge for me because I don’t want to move to any city only a couple of locations because of teenaged kids.
Still it will be a process of minimum 4-6 months if it get finalised.

In the early 70s I worked with a Haitian soldier legally in the US on a student visa. He was drafted, served his 2 years, and was notified he was to be deported after being discharged. He bypassed it by marrying a female soldier in our unit. We make lots of promises to soldiers most of which are never kept. I served 40 years so I can back up my claims. Technically, I am still serving as retirees are still in the military with partial pay towards potential future service and it isn’t technically a pension (except in divorce which is weird when you look at the actual law which hasn’t changed since the Civil War).
A few years ago I worked a job tangentially involving U.S. military recruiting. Most non-U.S. citizens were getting U.S. citizenship in boot camp, not after military service.

An oligarchy is a system where power is effectively wielded by a small number of individuals defined by their status called oligarchs. For their study, Gilens and Page compiled data from roughly 1,800 different policy initiatives in the years between 1981 and 2002. Comparing the preferences of the average American at the 50th percentile of income to what those Americans at the 90th percentile preferred, as well as the opinions of major lobbying or business groups, the researchers found out that the government followed the directives set forth by the latter two much more often.

This is purely an attempt to try and make the CBP procedures easier for them and give them some metrics to present to Congress as proof they are doing their jobs. It will not do anything in reality to stop illegal entry into the country.
We retired to Hungary and emigrated as Americans into the EU. Here we are considered third world (not coming from within the EU or the UK) and treated as any other third world peoples coming from Africa etc. The individual requirements are left up to each sovereign state (more or less) and their respective legal requirements. Here, when you get your temporary visa you are issued a visa card that you must use to prove your immigration status whenever asked. It is required for everything including the post office. No card no service. After 5 years you can qualify for permanent residence which is a much more difficult process and requires proof of income, banking records for 6 months, statements of ownership, and/or proof of rental contract. proof of medical insurance, birth certificates, passport, marriages, divorces, and a background police check from your last residence in the country you lived in last. All of this must be translated at your expense (ours cost over $1,000) and then you wait. This procedure has to be repeated every 5 years but the specifics only if anything changes. They can cancel at any time for any reason and you have 3 days to leave the country. The basic idea is that only reputable people, with income and medical insurance, are allowed. They don’t want and will not accept the refuse and vagrants from around the world. Things are tough enough already for Hungarians so why should they be expected to receive the world’s refugees?
You end up eventually with 4 ID cards (5 if you have a driver’s license). The first is your EU ID card which lists your nationality, country of residence, and immigration status. The second is your visa. The third is an address card issued by your local municipality and retired to get the last card which is your National Medical Coverage. The latter is a monthly out-of-pocket expense for non-citizens or naturalized citizens that didn’t work 40 years towards retirement. This seems fair to me. The cost is minimal anyway and roughly $25 a month per person and gets you 100% medical coverage. Of course, you get into the normal system which to me after serving 40 years in the US military seems pretty good. In general, we pay cash for private doctors and clinics which is also relatively cheap, and reserve the medical insurance for actual emergencies or hospital stays.
My point to all of that is this is the typical system outside the US and is what is normal in western countries. The US could very easily establish a similar system and issue a card to all people who qualify to live in the US. It would prove identity as well as citizenship status and would be required to do all things that interface with local, county, state, or national governments. That would include medical and schools. As in Europe no card no service. Voting could then be validated by presenting your ID card and as it pertains to everyone equally is Constitutional. This would clear up the illegal voting issues we have seen in recent past elections.
So, with a required ID card, you really don’t need heavy border protection as being in the US illegally would make life without an ID card impossible. If it included biometrics data then it would be very tough to defraud. This is a much cheaper solution than building fences.
That said, here in Hungary they built a double fence around the whole country at roughly $30 million dollars. They created a space in-between the two fences at one point on the eastern border and potential immigrants all get processed into the facility. It is voluntary to enter and voluntary to leave. However, when you first enter they take fingerprints and facial recognition photos. If you leave before the process ends you can never come back at this point or any other country in the EU. Once inside there are interpreters who can recognize particular language dialects and are very good at identifying false claims of citizenship in lieu of passports. The Soros foundations have a cheater’s guide that recommends burning passports and claiming citizenship from Syria. Without a passport citizenship verification and well as criminal identification becomes a more difficult process and this can take months. The conditions inside the facility are humane but not nice. Many fraudulent claimers leave before they are identified and can never re-enter the EU again. One big thing that goes unmentioned in the US is that you have to be a bonafide refugee fleeing state persecution. Being ISIS or Al Qaeda (or Kurds) and being persecuted by the legal Syrian Government when acting to overthrow the government doesn’t make you a refugee. Coming from a secondary country that is declared safe like Lebanon or Turkey doesn’t qualify as a refugee. Being poor and just looking for a better life in the EU doesn’t qualify as being a refugee. Of the vast numbers of potential refugees processed by Hungary only a very small few have actually qualified. Germany and the neo-liberal run countries in Scandinavia have much different and lower standards which violate the treaties. They do this at their own peril and eventual loss of national identity.
Hungary, in particular, is very much against accepting Muslims having suffered under the Ottoman Empire for 180 years and 3.5 million dead. Europeans, unlike the US, have long memories. Things that happened 300-400 years ago are still considered recent here. Recent in the US is within the current administration.

As to why the app (subject of the original post after all) has been created, I’d look to the complaints in mainstream media about “willful retirement” “retiring on the job” “wages too high” etc. The provision in the app enabling the migrants to legally work without gaining rights shows that this is mainly an adaptation of the old bracero program, trying from the employer/imperialist point of view to “make lemonade out of lemons” in the current situation. To be fair, we are all “immigrants” at some level. The relevant questions are:
1. Are immigrants on the US Southern border entering lawfully e.g. in accordance with the plethora of US immigration laws?
2. Why are we (actually the US government) allowing/assisting immigrant entry into the US?
3. What are the benefits and risks of an increasing number of immigrants into the US?
The answer to question “1.” is “yes” and “no”. I am not going to go into a long legal dissertation but just want to make the point that so many others have already made–if an immigrant enters the US by some means other than the law then the immigrant has by definition done so illegally.
Question “2.” is what concerns me most. It’s for damn sure not for anything humanitarian–that proposition is laughable. White replacement theory–maybe but that will take several generations. Increasing the the libtard voting pool is a likely a top three reason. Comporting with some sick dystopian Davos-inspired “one/new world order” probably ranks among the top three as well. Whatever the reasons, you can bet that preserving America as we know/knew it is not among them–in fact it is probably the main reason.

Who can be called a criminal depends upon who is doing the calling. In the United States, and many others, you are not guilty of a crime unless and until you have been convicted in a court of law. Now if I “know” someone has committed a crime, I may call him or her a criminal, but (s)he could prosecute me for libel. In many countries, I can escape prosecution for libel by proving (in a court of law) that my statement was true.

I see very little sympathy here for the plight of the poor human beings who’ve left their home countries (mainly due to U.S. meddling) to make the arduous trek north to America.
