Public meetings and rallies, they’re not my thing. Mostly, I shy away. Neither group think nor impassioned shouting matches appeal. But the Covid experience drew me out.
A while back — it was May 31 — I went to a gathering in Canberra at which the principal guest speaker was Dr. Aseem Malhotra. He is a British cardiologist who has locked horns with his political and medical establishments over the Covid-19 vaccination program.
Malhotra took issue with the global Covid vaccine campaign in an article published by the Journal of Insulin Resistance on 26 September 2022 in which he called for a “pause and reappraisal”.1
Breakaway
To pause and reappraise. That’s hardly radical. In other contexts, it might be termed the “precautionary principle”. But if you’ve read the latest edition of his Wikipedia profile, Aseem Malhotra has been marked down by social media — in the manner Bolshevik — as a veritable “former person”.
His alleged crimes: misrepresenting research; cherry-picking data; speaking of his own (personally painful) experience; and, maybe worst of all for a doctor, siding with patients. A sensible follower of “The Science” would dismiss such “former people”.
For me, however, following the norm doesn’t come easily and my attention had already been attracted to Malhotra for his pre-Covid practice as a breakaway cardiologist. So, there I was on a cold Canberra night, against my ordinary inclinations, waiting to see and hear him on Covid vaccines.
Malhotra happened to be in Australia as a self-funded part of a nationwide tour organised by the Australian Medical Professionals Society (AMPS).
AMPS is a new organisation. It was called forth by the Covid crisis to represent doctors and other medical professionals critical of the public health measures taken, of the unquestioning compliance of their existing professional associations and of Australia’s crushing régime of medical regulation.
Aseem Malhotra had been a medical media star in the United Kingdom. Before Covid, he had managed an uncommon feat: while preserving a reputation as an accomplished medical practitioner and go-to national commentator on public health, he critiqued his profession over its approach to the treatment and prevention of coronary heart disease (CHD).
Malhotra rejected the claim that dietary fat was the root cause of CHD. He called into question the usefulness of cholesterol testing as a predictor of heart disease and heart attacks. With diagnostic boldness, he and his collaborators sought to redefine CHD as an inflammatory disorder.2 Bravest of all, he went on to call out the pharmaceutical industry as a corrupter, in general, of medical research and practice and for the way in which it had inserted a particular family of drugs — statins — into his profession’s CHD treatment protocols. Statins, he argued, were ineffective in reducing the incidence of disease while, at the same time, they exposed patients to rarely explained risks. This represented, Malhotra judged, a failure of medical ethics: patients were denied the opportunity of giving “informed consent” to their proposed treatment or assistance in evaluating alternatives.
What’s remarkable is that Malhotra’s standing within the British medical profession was not derailed by the position he took over CHD. Sure, his position was heretical; and, sure, there were critical challenges. Even so, his professional resumé spoke of respectability and success. These included, significantly, regular publication in leading medical journals such as the BMJ, the British Journal of Sports Medicine, BMJ Open Heart, JAMA Internal Medicine, Prescriber, The Pharmaceutical Journal, and European Scientist. There was, moreover, the credibility bestowed by his frequent appearances in mainstream media ‘pop health’ columns ranging from The Guardian and BBC Online to The Washington Post.
My point?
Malhotra was a man at the top of his profession, an experienced operator in the public domain, courageous and sure enough of his position to tackle his peers: well prepared, in other words, to rise to new challenges should they break upon us.
And so, they did. Covid happened.
Died suddenly
There was nothing precipitate, however, about the position Malhotra would eventually take on the official Covid response.
Initially, he was ‘all in’ with the Covid “narrative”. His first concern was, in fact, with “vaccine hesitancy”. In January 2021, he had himself twice vaccinated (Pfizer) and then, in February, went onto ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” to speak in favour of vaccines and of vaccination against Covid.
As we now know — well, some of us do — from the vaccine roll-out onwards, people started dying suddenly. One of them, six months after taking his Pfizer shots, was a Dr Kailash Chand OBE, a former deputy chair of the British Medical Association and Malhotra’s father. He died unexpectedly of a cardiac arrest.
Malhotra was stunned. Cardiologist though he was, he could not explain what had happened to his father:
“… his post-mortem findings … I found particularly shocking and inexplicable. Two of his three major arteries had severe blockages … I knew his medical history and lifestyle habits in great detail … previous heart scans … a few years earlier … had revealed no significant problems with perfect blood flow throughout his arteries and only mild furring …
“I couldn’t explain his post-mortem findings, especially as there was no evidence of an actual heart attack but with severe blockages.“3
Dr Chand’s passed away on 26 July 2021. It was not until November of the same year that Malhotra got his first serious indication that his father’s death — and the rapid development of arterial blockages which it revealed — might have been traceable to the Pfizer vaccine.
That pointer came in the form of an Abstract in the journal Circulation4 which reported that mRNA vaccines contributed to a sharp rise in inflammatory factors and therewith, apparently, a marked acceleration in the formation of arterial blockages. Given Malhotra’s earlier work treating heart disease as an inflammatory disorder, this rang alarm bells. It was then that he began digging in earnest into the research data on mRNA vaccines.
What he discovered was, so to speak, forbidden knowledge.
The first thing Malhotra learned was that mRNA vaccines were rather ineffective.
Not effective
To gauge effectiveness, we’d need to know how many people we’d have to vaccinate to prevent one death: in the jargon, the number needed to treat (NNT). Well, if you segment the vaccinated population by age, based on UK figures,5 you might find something like this:

What leaps off the page here is that the mRNA mass vaccination programme has been quite ineffective, except maybe for those over 70 — which implies that a more targeted campaign, focused on the over-70s, might have been a prudent strategy.
Of course, as Malholtra has pointed out, jabbing whole populations to save a few lives with poorly performing vaccines might be justifiable if the vaccines were no more harmful than they were ineffective. But that’s not the case. And here’s the clincher to his argument.
A group of medical scientists led by Joseph Fraiman re-evaluated the data generated by the original Phase 3 trials of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines. What Fraiman and his colleagues found was that vaccinated subjects in the trials exhibited a 1‑in-800 greater risk of serious side effects compared those in the placebo group.6
Now let’s unwrap that.
Fraiman et al were not interested in any old side effects like sore arms, headaches, a brief dizzy spell and the like.
What they looked for were “adverse events of special interest”(AESI): namely, medically well-defined events that ended in death, or were life-threatening when they occurred, or required hospital treatment, or a longer stint in hospital for those already there, or significant disabilities, or birth defects or other “medically important events”.
Not safe
So, to recap, 1‑in-800 vaccinated subjects in Phase 3 of the Pfizer and Moderna trials suffered one or other (and sometimes multiple) carefully defined “adverse events of special interest”: all of them serious illnesses, some of them ending in death.
Now let’s feed that 1⁄800 number into the table above. What we get is this:

As you can see — as plain as a pikestaff — for groups under the age of 70, vaccination racks up more people suffering AESIs (including deaths) than deaths avoided by vaccination. This phenomenon is pronounced for those under 60 and wildly off the scale for those below 40.
Reminds me of that crazy Vietnam war justification, attributed to a US Army officer, “We had to destroy the village to save the village.”
So, friends, Malhotra would ask (and I with him), ‘Why would you do that?’
‘Why would you mass vaccinate low-risk age groups to save one life in tens of thousands while notching up (potentially) more deaths from serious adverse events than you can avoid by vaccinating those groups against Covid?’
‘Is there any logic in that?’

So, yes, I was impressed by Dr. Aseem Malhotra and by his address that cold May evening in Canberra. Since, however, I was already familiar with the man and his position, everything turned out much as expected.
What I was not prepared for, however — because I had not attended closely enough to the meeting’s agenda! — were the other people who also spoke that night: two of whom were folk whose lives had been turned upside-down by their encounter with the Pfizer vaccine. Their stories affected me more deeply than Malhotra’s no-turning-back critical stance on the Covid vaccines. And that is how it ought to have been, for these were the people for whom Malhotra, and others like him, have been speaking: real people whose actual suffering has been obscured by the cloud of statistics, scientific lingo and acronyms of the medical literature, even that which has indicated their plight.
For Kara Potter and Rado Faletič, both Canberra locals, whose addresses to the gathering had me riveted to my seat, there was also a note of “no-turning-back” in their stories. It came in the form of a question, more or less explicit: will there be no-turning-back from the multiple serious injuries they have suffered as a result of accepting public health advice and getting vaxed?
What has happened to them, experiences that still shake me up to recall, I will relate in my next blog.
For now, my parting observation is this: whatever they — the controllers of “The Narrative” — say, have no fear; all will be set right, in the end.

Aseem Malhotra is a celebrity doctor. That’s a type I don’t give much of my attention, for they like being a …. Celebrity. His views about the Dangerous Covid Vaccine may or may not be valid. Opinions on the utility and safety of the things are going to vary a LOT. I’ve been fully vaccinated, but close family members who have not taken the shots have also avoided getting Covid by the same determined crowd avoidance and mask use as myself.

The active element in these things is a fluorescent bulb without any phosphors coating the inside of the glass – the air passing by the lamp is blasted by UV rays which aren’t healthy for either germs or fungal spores in the air.

Are you a medical professional yourself? If not, what qualifies you to pose your opinions as facts? The benefits of using masks seem quite doubtful to me, but my medical training hasn’t been sufficient to have a firm opinion on that issue. So use them if that makes you happy (or less fearful). The reason to vaccinate the entire population is to completely eradicate the disease. If the goal is disease eradication, then vaccinating the young and healthy makes perfect sense. It makes no sense to not vaccinate a large segment of the population if disease eradication is the goal.
The vaccine was sold to us as effective in preventing Covid infection. Once it was discovered that wasn’t true, and thus vaccinating everyone would never eradicate the disease, vaccinating young people no longer made medical sense.

911,Covid, Ukraine war, famine… and so on – short of nuclear warfare – is necessary for greater control of a privately-run central banking scheme. Those don’t want a nuclear war because themselves could be targeted and also the earth becomes uninhabitable which is not good for private central banking business.
For me, one of the worst aspects of Covid has been loss of confidence in the integrity of both the medical and scientific establishments. They have been shown to be corrupt, venal, self-interested and narrow-minded. When slightly nudged, those establishments reverted to medieval thinking, specifically:
– appeal to ‘revealed’ (the modelling whose inner workings cannot be disclosed as it is ‘commercial-in-confidence’) rather than empirical knowledge, and
– the supremacy of authority over rational discourse.
This is intellectually catastrophic for the post-Enlightenment Western world view.
I had opportunity to see Prof. Jay Bhattacharya speak about a year ago. He’s a well-respected epidemiologist from Stanford and a co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration. In about March of 2020, just as Covid was ‘launching,’ he did some actual research, looking for Covid antibodies in the general population (in California). To his surprise, he found about 3-4% of people had antibodies even then, implying the disease much more common and much less virulent than was being touted. For this, simple presentation of information, he was criticised (“fringe epidemiologist” as Fauci et al described him) and all but ‘cancelled.’
I have no idea whether Dr Malhotra is right or wrong and don’t care whether his motivation is seeking after truth or seeking after fame. What is important in science is that knowledge be sought honestly and without prejudgement. What is important in medicine (an art basing itself in science) is trying to do the best for people while remembering “Primum non nocere” – “The first thing, do not harm.”

My main point was not about governments per se – all over the (Western) world politicians & bureaucrats hid behind “we are acting on the best available scientific advice.” Most politicians & bureaucrats, including those for health care, cannot spell ‘virus’ and wouldn’t know how any vaccine works if their children’s lives depended on it (sorry for ranting).
What is so galling, that ‘scientific advice’ (and I include the advice/actions of medical authorities and regulators) was profoundly deficient, indeed, the opposite of science. Alternative viewpoints, even when backed by good evidence, were arbitrarily dismissed and the proponents derided (putting it mildly). Worse, medical regulators made voicing an alternative viewpoint grounds for professional excommunication – an intellectual march right back to the concept of heresy of late Middle Ages.

A 2009 study of the “Spanish flu” showed that the deaths were largely due to bacterial infections caused by dirty masks.
Surgical masks are designed to protect from large droplets of mucus getting sneezed or coughed into exposed patients.
Read the package insert re: N95 masks. They do not protect from viruses. And that is when they are properly fitted. Furthermore, pre-covid, they were changed between patients & never worn for 8 or 9 or 10 hours at a stretch.
Finally, numerous studies have shown that children forced to wear masks for extended periods had dangerous increases in CO2 levels in their blood.

I’ll believe that when I see it. This isn’t the first time the “narrative controllers” have done their thing; they have lied and lied over and over again about lots of things and have always got away with it so far.
Much to my surprise I no longer believe in virus’ at all, Tom Cowan and others have been asking for any virologist anywhere to produce samples or evidence of their existence and they all repeat the same mantra which leads to a snot sample of dead cells and their breakdown products which they regard as evidence. No isolates, no %concentration samples it would seem that virology is as much of a science as economics and that having bought in to it through years of dedicated study you either go along or go Uber.
I suspect whoever was funding the research on these agents in the biolabs in Ukraine realised this too and decided to switch their research from a ‘viral’ biological agent that affected slavs specifically to a method that targetted their dna instead. First it was tuned to affect the reproductive cells, both male and female, then it was tuned to not affect specific groups, after that it was ready for trials and splicing it to the wef population reduction agenda seemed a natural fit and they had already established an extensive network of compromised politicians and apparatchiks.

Was there not a practice in the US of A, in the nineteenth century, for the purveyors of harmful patent medicines and the like, to be tarred and feathered and run out of town? I have been leery of vaccines since the Swine Flu days, where a vaccine was rushed and after about 12 deaths and multiple cases of GBS and other symptoms, the vaccine was pulled from the shelf. I was even more leery of this COVID vaccine, in fact, I was leery of COVID being declared a deadly virus.
At 66 years of age, unvaxed for flu or COVID, obese…I caught COVID and I lived. Temperature was from 103f to 104f, took one 325mg aspirin, and 5 days later was better. Had an intermittent mild cough for two weeks. Having avoided vaccines for the majority of my adult life, I likely have a better immunce system than most.
The health department called me the day after I tested positive for COVID, I told the nurse my temperature the night before and she said I should have gone to the ER and taken more aspirin. I reminded her that the human body has a fever for a reason.
Maybe I got lucky, I do not know. What I do know is a number of COVID vaxed friends and acquaintances have died or have other serious health issues now. Everyday I read the obits and everyday I see young people dying “unexpectedly”.

I have been studying this subject for many years and I think Malhotra is largely correct. But he ignores the role of copper deficiency, which causes heart disease and may well cause Covid too. Modern diets are extremely low in copper, because of its removal from carbohydrate foods and very low level in most animal foods, and because of soil depletion due to the use of artificial fertilisers.
Natural killer cells are part of the innate immune system, they kill cells infected with any virus, and they activate and proliferate in response to interleukin-2 whose production requires copper. People with copper deficiency (most of us) will be low in natural killer cells as indeed Covid patients are, and will need vaccines. Not that bullying the immune system with vaccines is the correct approach, obviously. Copper is not the only metal in short supply: manganese and magnesium are just as important and are also very low in modern diets.
According to the copper researcher John Sorenson, many drugs work by binding copper and taking it to where it’s needed. Perhaps this explains why drugs such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin seem to work astonishingly well against Covid in some situations and not at all in others.

I had just added potassium to the list for that purpose a few days back, as I had read a convincing post advocating boosting this element, too.
Hi, yes, your multivitamin may have as little as 2 mg of manganese. This is the average intake in the US, and is also the recommended allowance, meaning the ‘experts’ think it’s enough. But a wholegrain-based diet (Ma-Pi 2) has 16 mg a day, yes sixteen, and it has been found to cure diabetes. How do the experts explain the world wide diabetes epidemic? Lab animals fed a high fat diet get diabetes which can be cured with manganese.
The diabetes in these animals was due to malfunction of the manganese enzyme MnSOD, which protects mitochondria. This is very important in Covid, because mitochondria are damaged by the virus, and that means the lungs cannot pump out fluid and without a ventilator the patients will drown.
About 15 years ago three friends had heart attacks, two fatal, all within days of going to the dentist. This was over maybe four months otherwise I don’t think I’d have noticed the connection. I was surprised that this was a thing and that some dentists were aware of it and were trying to develop protocols to reduce the risk, antibiotics mostly. What seems to happen is the bacterial ‘community’ that cause plaques on teeth do so to isolate and protect themselves from oxygen, and internally against lymphocytes. These are the same bacteria that form plaques in arteries so to reduce their presence in the mouth before a dentist visit is important, what I do which seems to cause no harm is a few drops of food grade 6% H2O2 on my toothbrush before brushing and alter the pressure in my mouth to force the oxidising agent as deep as it’ll go, often this will also stop whatever problem is developing.
The other potential culprit seems to be the excessive mercury released as vapour making it’s way into a crucial nerve pathway. The nerves use copper as the electrically active transmitter and these copper ‘dosed’ molecules reliably transmit one out for one in, mercury in the same situation can store any number of ‘ins’ and release cascades of ‘outs’ seemingly at random. Not ideal anywhere in the trigger mechanism of a heartbeat. There are some foods that reputedly act as chelation agents so may assist in it’s removal.

9. Those hospitalized were given Remdesivir which was the only treatment available (pre monoclonal antibodies). This drug has significant side effects and was given a trial for Ebola but was abandoned, it killed too many patients. Remdesivir was developed by Ralph Baric and team, the same people doing GOF research for Covid at UNC and collaborated with Wuhan (go figure!), In the UK patients were given Midlazolam which is used at end of life to off the elderly

A thoughtful essay on the discovery of incorrect data. In regards to Zachery Smith, I did a lot of social dancing, and Covid completely destroyed my social life. The dancing came back in 2022, but now in St. Louis, the board demands all dancers must be vaccinated, show proof, have boosters, and wear masks at all dances.
I drive to a dance in Rolla, 100 miles away. The kids there are not masked, no vaccine requirement, and just laugh at the rules in St. Louis. when you drive outside the city, it’s as though you’re in another country.
Nashville had a ball last March, and they only asked for a Covid test beforehand. St. Louis, like the east coast (blue states) will not budge.
But all of my social life in St. Louis died. A member admitted to me people feel the rules are silly, now, but the board won’t relent. As a board member said “I will NEVER go to a dance unless all are vaccinated and masked.”
I also know women are really behind it. And the people are all liberal, and as a dancer told me “they’re all wusses.” I spoke to a woman who liked me, but became loud and argumentative when Covid came up. She insisted ALL the old people in Sweden died. Also, she simply worshipped Fauci. “I’m a mathematician,” she said, “And I MUST support science. HE is a scientist!” She began yelling at over the phone (” I DEMAND to see scientific data supporting your views!”), and when I laughed at her claiming Biden “saved millions of lives,” she hung up.

I was struck by the ready capitulation of people to any kind of examination of facts, They simply succumbed to a propaganda campaign. I am 71, and could have lost my job but I claimed a religious exemption and kept it.
Larry said this article is off his usual path, but it is very pertinent as it deals with misinformation and mass psychology, very relevant in the Ukraine war. People seem to be cold on the war, but it’s mostly because it’ “a waste if money,” and not because of American ruthlessness.
I’d like to write a screenplay about Covid. Not sure where to start, but seeing the slow then gushing pubic fear campaign would be a major part of the script.
By the time the vaccine came around, all the information needed to make an informed decision was out there. It was simple risk management. A healthy person below the age of 70 had less, probably substantially less, than a half a percent chance of dying if he got covid. That’s it that’s the risk from covid. The vaccine, was rushed and even if all the protocols were followed and the data was good (we now know they weren’t and it wasn’t) every vaccine has some amount of risk in adverse reactions and the long term risks of five to ten years down the road weren’t and couldn’t be known. So, the equation was simply balancing a very small risk of dying against unknown risks in the future. Any reasonable and healthy person should have refused the vax based upon their own risks.
Now many fell for the line that they were protecting others. But that was always stupid as well. If the vax worked, then it should work for those others if they came into contact with an infected person regardless of the infected person’s vax status. And secondly, there was information very early on that the vax didn’t slow the spread.
All of this is to say that I have very little sympathy for those who took the vax. You had the information to make a better decision. I have even less sympathy if you knew you shouldn’t take it and bowed to the pressure and coercion.
These mRNA clot shots were not “vaccines” as such, compromising the body’s defence mechanism is asking for trouble.

My mother’s side of the family has provided a demonstration of the wisdom of that claim. My Grandmother, who lived till her mid-nineties, went to the doctors regularly. My Grandfather simply didn’t do that. The only time I know of when he saw a doctor was when his ax slipped and he spent a few days in the hospital getting the wound repaired. He died of a massive heart attack in his seventies.
Their children took after one or the other of their parents. Two girls took their blood pressure meds and lived into their Nineties. A third sister – a nurse – thought she knew more than doctors and died of a heart attack shortly after turning 80. Two sons never darkened the door of a doctor’s office. One died of a heart attack in his fifties, and another was a did-it-to-himself cripple for the last 25 years of his life. Hils affliction was totally preventable if he’d hadn’t been so bone-headed.
Mindless stubborness isn’t always a virtue.
Personally, I listen politely to what a particular doctor says. Usually I follow their proscribed treatment path, but not always. One fellow diagnosed – and successfully treated – a nasty foot problem. That was great, but he also attempted to hook me up with Opiods. Not good!
Like everything else, you’ve got to watch them.
What the good doctor was trying to imply was GP s are predisposed to dish out pills willy-nilly in the NHS treadmill Britain. For sure today pill popping is off the charts.

Please, I would like to suggest that all of you pay attention to the fact that China has been acting like an imperial predator in South America, bribing weak and corrupt governments and scraping any and every advantage it can profit from. Right now there are thousands of Chinese boats and ships practicing predatory fishing off the coast of the Amazon Basin in Brazil. This is a threat to local ecosystem and will most likely deplete fish and sea life reserves in a delicate and sensitive region for a long time. The Chinese boats throw huge nets in the sea and capture everything they can take, in bulk, from the ocean. Highly predatory fishing. The Chinese have been doing this all over the South Atlantic. I’m just beginning divorce proceedings against my partner of 8 years, all beginning with the Covid fear swallowing on her part. I have only seen some preliminary figures but they seemed to be looking okay. An old TASS report from Nov 2021 says it has been approved in 71 countries. https://tass.com/world/1362249. If there were serious problems I imagine we would have heard by now.
It has not been approved by WHO which is not surprising somehow. It has been submitted for approval and is in the pending list I believe. India has not Used mRna vaccines.
India has used mainly the AstraZeneca vaccine used in UK. It’s sold here as covishield.
Apart from that India developed it’s own vaccine called Covaxin developed & manufactured by Bharat Biotech.
Pfizer was approved a couple of months after the second wave ended as a private vaccine the other two are given through the Govt approved and subsidized distribution and vaccine system.
Pfizer usage is very rare. Only occasionally used by those who wanted to work in gulf arab countries or had to go to US.
The Russian vaccine also had been approved but it was late into the epidemic and availability was low.
China has also not used Pfizer neither has Russia and almost all of Africa.

With regard informed consent, this was finally forbidden in some adminitrations, after being offered before the first dose although in the very moment of the vacciantion process ( which implies most of the people, already quite disturbed by the fact of being inyected, simply do not read it and only want to end the process as soon as possible and leave for home…), even when requested by morally concerned aware professionals who, in their intent of doing what was deontologically correct and legal, were placed in black lists and harassed by superiors to almost losing their own health and thus tempted to throw outboard a whole career.

They do not insist upon adequate Vitamin-D titers, though those are shown to be highly effective as prophylaxis against both Covid and the flu…
