It appears that the “Russia has lost” meme being pushed by Biden and his lackeys is to create an excuse for the United States to declare victory in Ukraine and walk away basking in the knowledge of “Mission Accomplished.” Based on what has transpired over the last 18 months, with the media refusing to ask any tough questions and frantically pushing pro-Ukrainian propaganda, I think the Biden national security team genuinely believes they can put the shine on Ukrainian military debacle by shouting victory over and over. They are firm believers in the power of spin.
But the usually servile U.S. media is starting to show some signs of doing some actual journalism. A CNN reporter ventured to the front lines of a Ukrainian outpost and came back with a pretty somber picture of a faltering Ukrainian counter-offensive:
None of the “rah, rah we’re kicking Russian ass.” The Ukrainian soldier admits that the Russians, “have more guns, more shells and more people.” Quite a contrast with the Biden claim that Russia is losing.
This is pretty ridiculous. So does the administration and the US government really think most Americans are dumb and uninformed to not know when Russia takes Kharkiv, Odessa, and everything up to the Dnepr River? How are they going to explain that? This country will become a laughing stock after this happens and I cannot imagine less than 70% of the American people losing all confidence in America’s major institutions. As for most of the average, less-educated people I come in contact with, they know zip about the war in Ukraine and if Russia occupied the entire country next month, the media wouldn’t tell them and they would have no clue that it happened, and frankly are not interested in what happens in a far-off nation. The “Russia has lost the war Now” meme is media fodder to convince ordinary Americans that Russia has lost. The implication being that although the war continues Americans don’t need to think about it anymore as what is happening is that Russia just refuses to recognize “reality.”
What it really says is that they know Russia is winning, will win and that Ukraine is finished. It also gets them off the hook as far as direct intervention goes. No need for direct intervention if Ukraine is winning.
Austin comes across with all the conviction of a dead sheep. He says the words, then realizing how weak he seems he adds the fact that all of the NATO countries agree with Ukraine getting into NATO, even though we know they don’t.

The result will be whatever Ukrainian ‘state’ emerges will be a ‘rump’ state, completely cut off from the Sea of Azov and Black Sea, that has lost its most resource-rich areas.
3. The Pentagon does not want an encore performance of the 2-decade long, 2$ trillion debacle in Afghanistan which ended in Aug, 2021. This event was showcased by desperate Afghans clinging to the wings and engines of US military transport planes taking off. This vividly demonstrated the limits of American military power to the global population.
4. A US/NATO loss in Ukraine is an admission of failure and by extension military weakness. This will also further undermine that status of the dollar as world reserve currency, which has served as a key pillar of post-WWII US power.
