Today (Tuesday) marks the largest Russian bombardment of Ukraine with precision guided missiles and drones. The Ukrainian equivalent of the Pentagon reported was struck in Kiev. And Western media now is reporting frantically that Russia fired a missile at a target in Poland. Russia denies it vehemently and initial pictures of the “device” that landed in Poland appear to show a S-300 anti-air defense missile.
The big unanswered question is whether this was an error, i.e., Ukraine fired at incoming Russian missiles and the S-300 missed its target and fell inside Polish territory, or was it an attempt to manufacture a false flag, i.e., blame Russia for firing the missile and create a pretext to invoke Article 5 of the NATO treaty and bring the rest of NATO into the war to stop Russia. The jury is still out.
The picture below shows first, one of the fragments of the S-300 that landed in Poland with a bang, and second, a fully intact S-300 rocket.

Neither Poland nor the Brits appear inclined to wait for facts to develop and are rattling swords about the need to invoke article 5 of the NATO Charter.
The United States, by contrast, is exercising great caution. Part of the reason for that hesitancy is the financial collapse of FTX, which is exposing evidence that the Democrats, some Republicans, the Ukrainians and FTX organized an elaborate financial kickback scheme. The scheme involved promising members of Congress who sent money to Ukraine a hefty contribution in turn from a Democrat benefactor. In this case, the owner of FTX. Once the U.S. dollars were credited to Ukraine’s account, President Zelensky and his partners diverted some of the proceeds to purchase crypto currency from FTX. FTX, in turn, sent some of that funds back to the cooperating members of Congress and the Democrat National Committee. This scheme is unraveling. The dummies mistakenly believed that crypto is untraeable. Nope. Thanks to block chain, eminently traceable.
If article 5 is invoked because of the alleged attack on Poland then we are facing a major, dangerous escalation of the war in Ukraine. A lot of Polish troops have been killed in Ukraine over the last month and I doubt the leaders in Warsaw are in the mood to negotiate.
Meanwhile, President Zelensky gave a schizophrenic speech about the missiles smashing throughout Ukraine.
On the one hand he acknowledges that the Russian missiles have knocked out electrical power in many cities, which also affects the ability to supply water and heat to more than 10 million Ukrainians. But then he makes this odd claim, i.e., boasting that Western air defense systems have shot down most of these Russian missiles. Really? Take a look at these two successive missiles striking Kiev earlier today:
I don’t know where the NSAAMs are deployed, but they certainly were not in a position to stop these strikes in Kiev.
I hope they do. Let’s rock. The proud French military will match with their so far undropped rifles. Followed by the 7,200 trigger pullers the Brit’s have! I imagine the Italians will cater the food. Lithuania will send a squad of certified killers! Glad I don’t know anyone in the 82nd now.
Not a fan of the French but could not let that slur go without comment. My, admittedly limited, understanding of American history suggests that without significant French military assistance it would still have have a British King. And as for their implied cowardice, have you never heard of the battle of Verdun?
Please. They got rolled up in 7 days by the Germans in WW2, had a collaborator government (Vichy), required the Yanks to liberate them and somehow still ended up with a seat on the security council.
You are ignoring the French Resistance Oddo; actual French citizens, not the craven politicians.
In actuality, the “callaborationist” Petain did more to undercut the Germans and to advance the Allied cause than the Resistance.
You have to put Frances’ military performance during WW2 in perspective. To say they were poorly led is an understatement and the memory of WW1 and Verdun in particular was still relatively fresh in French enlisted mens minds. During Verdun the French army was on the verge of a communist / anarchist revolt against their leadership due to French officers callous disregard for their lives … they were no longer willing to die needlessly for the benefit of the upper classes.
The Vichy bourgeoisie OTOH were happy to support the fascists … they had values and it beats swinging from a lamp post. It’s easy to look back at 1940 and criticize the French but to get the real picture you have to go back to 1916 then you realize that France risked revolution and protracted war if they continued the fight with Germany and who were the real threat to the French upper classes / bourgeoisie.
Underestimate the French at your peril … they have a long and very successful military tradition and fight bravely given proper cause and support.
60000 Kia on the German side. A loss they could never made up
Thats an overstatement. The official figure I’ve read was 43,500 German KIA in Battle of France .. as opposed to at least 1.2 million German dead in France during WWI. So theres a immense discrepancy that needs ‘splaining
OTOH, France lost about 1.35 million in WWI, mostly in boneheaded assaults on German trenches. IN 1917, the inability of the French High command to come to terms with the innovative and lethal German tactics, that the rank and file mutinied en masse. Only a solemn pledge by High Command to stop offensive ops persuaded the enlisted swine to return to their posts.
I think this caused a long lasting loss of cred between the rank and file anf the officer class. And when the rank and file saw their leaders getting beclowned again 22 years later by the same enemy who they were told in 1918 had been totally defeated … that led to a collapse in will to fight
Nope. The resistance is what happened in Yugoslavia, which lost more than a million people and LIBERATED ITSELF, without anyone’s help, enduring 5 german offensives. The French were liberated by others. Yet, they came out of WW2 as a victor and received a permanent seat on the UN security council. For what reason?
Yugoslavia was liberated by the Soviet army at the end of WW II. They didn’t do it themselves. That’s why it turned Communist after the war.
Yugoslavia was indeed liberated by the Red Army, but French Resistence was comical compared to Yugoslav one.
Someone needs to go back to school and learn some history. Yugoslavia liberated itself under Tito who was already communist and he refused to be a part of USSR’s orbit of influence in 1949 – Yugoslavia and USSR almost came to war over it.
Well, this was of course in spite of Croatian and Bosnian collaboration with the Nazis and with Churchill’s pragmatic but ideologically inconsistent decision to support the partisans and not Mihailovic.
Why is it that in the post ’91 world, US foreign interventionists always find favor with former nazi allies as their preferred allies of choice? It’s brought us to where we are today, on the cusp of WWIII for no good reason that I can fathom.
I wonder, has anyone yet drawn an analogy between Warren Zimmerman in ’92 coaching Bosnia’s Izetbegovic to withdraw his signature from the Lisbon accord cantonizing Bosnia and slowing hostilities, only to accomplish the same with the Dayton accord, three years of brutal warfare later….and BoJo coaching Zelensky to drop any negotiations with Russia, or for that matter for whoever it was (the Nuland gang?) that coached Poroshenko to just ignore his signature to Minsk II?
How many fascist divisions were fighting in Yugoslavia from, say 1942 to 1944 ?
How many were in France during the same period ?
🙀
SFSN
Exile, Yugoslavia was covered by German Army’s group E. This grouping attempted 5 offensives on the territory of Yugoslavia in 4 years and all offensives failed.
As for proportions – all of Yugoslavia had 15 million people in 1941, France had 40+ million. Yugoslavia lost up to 1.7 million during the resistance, well, because it was real resistance and nobody helped in any meaningful way.
Who of European armies did any good in WW2 (except Thrid Reich and USSR) ?
French defense collapsed, but in part it happenned because the WHOLE British army deserted from Dunkirk instead of performing flank attack
Glad you asked that. Yugoslavia liberated itself without any significant outside help. In fact, other than the Soviets, it is the only country in Europe to do so. But don’t worry nobody offered it a seat on the security council, that was reserved for the ex-colonial powers like UK or France.
The British are the ones who let Poland fall in 1939 and then withdrew from the
northern coast of France in June 1940. The French Army defending Calais only surrendered after they ran out ammunition.
My understanding from reading military history books is that the French grunts were capable and ready. It was their officer corps in Paris that had a yellow streak up their backs and surrendered. Then, too, there’s the French Foreign Legion. While not many Frenchies in it, it is a French military organ and one historically not to be trifled with.
That’s right. 7 days whereas Greece a whole month and Crete alone 13 days.
You are correct sir, and without Russia’s help we would have lost the war of 1776, the Civil War AND World War 2.
Carry On,
Gunny
I wonder if the Russians are regretting that they side with the US instead of the CSA in the Civil War.
I’m sure they are pragmatically speaking but history is what it is and hindsight is always 20/20.
It’s like Patton said after WWII “We shot the wrong pig”.
How did Russia help the U.S. in the Civil War pray tell?
Russia American Civil War
4 simple keywords. You type them in that browser search thingy and voila! Your prayers are answered.
PS: I’d have much preferred just ‘google it’, but Google’s on my (s)hit list.
An interesting bit of history, the Tsar had Russian Navy vessels available to ensure that no continental powers from the old world attempted to get involved. They had devices on regaining control and influence and the CSA was seeking help. Russia guaranteed that they stayed away.
Quick DuckDuckgo search (censored by Google, of course it was):
https://www.voltairenet.org/article169488.html
During the Civil War the Russian imperial navy protected the harbours of New York and San Francisco from both the Confederate States and hostile European navies.
Not just the answers below, but the Tsar also politely informed the French and British that getting involved on the side of the confederacy would likely lead to a land war in Europe. The French, especially, we’re in no mood for that given there people still alive who would remember the Russians following Napoleon all the way home from Moscow.
My favorite part of French military history is the “Resistance”. After the Germans left, and they all took turns passing the one Sten gun around for a photo. It was amazing! Astounding how the Germans held France with all those brave French “resistance” fighters. Of course, they are brighter than us. The way they sucked us into Vietnam to rescue them was awesome!
The French “Resistance” was mainly made up of Spaniards. Now, it is true that La Fayette arrived with the French fleet checkmating the English fleet. In return, if it wasn’t for the Americans storming the beeches of Normandy, every Frenshman would be carrying a German on his back to work till this day. I mean sipping wine along the Champs Elysees while the Nazi invaders march into Paris is hard to forget.
You maybe meant to say without the Russians, as your contribution on the Euro theater was minimal, outside carpet bombing and supplies of junk vehicles, like the Sherman.
What did Patton say? “I’d rather have the Germans in front of me then the French behind me”
Few know about the Anglo-American war on France that began in 1940. The French fleet was hunted down and destroyed and French colonies invaded. This required substantial British naval power.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkUloT3IaTE
I’m not sad for the French.
I’ve heard that when the Spanish Republic asked France for help against the revolting fascists, they wanted to help at first. But when the english knew about it, they told the French “if you help the spanish democracy, we won’t help you when Germany attacks”. So they did not move a finger to help us.
Nazy Germany and fascist Italy they did help Franco a lot.
So later, we could not help them.
I recall the French defeat at Dien Bien Phu. They had chosen the wrong place, at the wrong time, with French Generals “leading the charge” from Saigon. The people’s army flogged them into surrender.
Vietnamese soldiers are heroes and legion.
The reason for DBP was based on denying the Viet Minh the opium harvest. Viet Minh offensive operations in the north were timed to the opium harvest. The French incorrectly thought the Viet Minh could not bring in artillery to blast the bases there. Just like at Stalingrad, supply by air failed. Once the siege started it was game over. Much about DBP is still classified and unreleased by the French.
Hooyah!!
I suspect Russia probably hit some major NATO troops and supplies in Ukraine supplied across the border from Poland which is infuriating the Poles.
Possible
There are thousands of American contractors plus US special forces out of uniform and CIA types in Ukraine helping run the war. There is even an American private mercenary group called “Mozart” helping out. Plus thousands of volunteers from the USA and NATO members. All these air and missile strikes must have killed dozens of them, but we hear no reports. The American media stays in a five star hotel in Kiev and report whatever the Ukraine/CIA run government tells them.
You my dear sir have been weaned on too much Anglo tittie milk hubris!!
Touche!
Beautifully said!
Your enthusiasm is unseemly, ugly even.. “Let’s rock”, bet it ain’t you.
Dear World,
If someone told you that blockchain money is untraceable:
Please use birth control.
Yep, the whole purpose of blockchain is traceability. Tracing interference is what makes it supposedly secure for transactions etc.
We’ve been here before….WhatsApp secure comms etc.
The internet never fails to deliver.
Nonsense. In fact the opposite. Every single (BTC) transaction is transparent and traceable BUT the owner is hidden. That’s why it’s stupid for ransoms and why the FBI can recover ransoms. Dropped cash is safer.
Anyone with an IQ over 10 will see this as a Ukrainian red flag. Zelensky is desperate. The Russians just hit Ukraine hard with major missile strikes, and the West is pressuring Zelensky to start negotiations. His back is against the wall, so he pulls this trick out of his hat. Let’s hope NATO doesn’t get involved. But then, they gave away their weapons and their troops couldn’t fight a high school baseball team, so will they really be crazy enough to call in Article 5?
Zelensky doesn’t make a move without an ok from the White House neocons. What the above pic’s show is missile parts from a Ukrainian S-300/200 particularly the motor rod adjuster. The Ukies likely fired at an incoming missile and for whatever reasons, it flew into Poland.
You don’t start WW3 without the neocons giving you the green light. Right now, the U.S/West is scared $h1t-l-ess. They are unable to keep up with ammunition supplies, weapon supplies, food supplies, etc. Which means the only war they could fight is a nuclear war. The Poles are a different story. They are nuts. More than happy to lead the cavalry charge to the end of the world.
Janet… nice concise and eloquent summation. Brilliant.
How did S-300s aimed at Eastern or S. Eastern intercept trajectories…manage to fly over to the west..? Similar to the smart weapons which hit apartments…they weren’t aimed there… they were deflected there by ground-based air defenses like the S-300.
There are a few videos showing the S300 hitting buildings, not deflecting incoming smart missiles. Since kalibr has build in EW countermeasures, this could be one explanation for the AD failing so badly against them, if fired by the Ukrainians. So far Ukie AD is just a myth, like shown in this article. Two kalibr freely arriving in Kiew hitting their target. Kiew is supposed to be heavily guarded by AD. Just as everything else coming from Ukie officials, this is desperate pure wishful thinking and mostly a big fat lie, what we all call now propaganda.
Personally, I think the Ukrainians just shoot missiles helter skelter as if they’re celebrating bandera’s birthday with bottle rockets and not caring where they land. They did it for 8 yrs in Donbass and you don’t change these characters overnight, if ever.
Another interesting question is; Why did the US Patriot systems located along the Polish border not pickup or intercept the errant Ukrainian SAM?
Did they let it thru or did they not see it coming?
Patriot record of actually intercepting missiles is poor. See Postole analysis of Iraq war. Something like 95% failure rate. Supposedly they have been upgraded. Note, they offered the Saudi’s zero protection. The bottom line is another wonderwaffen shit on the battlefield (As opposed to proving grounds).
Not the first time …
A errant Ukie armed drone this Spring flew west for a long time and crashed in the southern part of Zagreb, Croatia
https://www.euronews.com/2022/03/11/military-drone-likely-from-ukraine-crashes-near-croatian-capital-zagreb
Zelensky is just a dumb puppet. He has no saying in anything. He just has to deliver what’s in his script he gets faxed in every day.
This was no false flag either. The S300 used by Ukraine forces have been failing all along. Mostly because they were un-maintenanced or maybe also because the kalibr is using EW to actively distract the enemies AD.
Poland only plays dumb. All they did is immediately run to daddy (the US) to tell. They wanna all die, yeah let’s call Artice 5 and see what happens next. This is nothing else but a big stunt over some Ukie incompetency that will lead to nothing again.
No one needs an actual false flag today. Just put some lie on tv 24/7 and pretend something happened. That is what “news” does today anyway. There you have your false flag and there you go. Could have happened long time ago, but it didn’t. US knows they are done the minute they start a real war. I think they are still looking for some exit strategy from this utter failure they created. Ukraine is done. Time to push them on to the EU. They already made plans to send them money. US will still sell them their crappy military hardware and gladly take that money the EU sends in. Zelensky already said to Ukrainians to leave the country. He doesn’t want to take care of them anyway.
‘No one needs an actual false flag today. Just put some lie on tv 24/7 and pretend something happened. That is what “news” does today anyway. There you have your false flag and there you go. Could have happened long time ago, but it didn’t.’
lucid logic. excellent comment.
They haven’t done half of what they could, if pressed. The strategy is obviously to inflict discomfort/pain incrementely until opponents come to their senses and if not, ……..
It’s not exactly a new strategy. USNATO has used it consistently over the years.
The Poles will never learn…
But anyway, I think nothing will come of this. What could Britain really do against Russia? Is there appetite in UK to go to war (I mean among the people)? How about France or Germany? I don’t think Romanians are interested. So, that still leaves the Poles and the Baltics who will together all be breakfast for the RFA and they know it. USA also has zero appetite for a continental war with a nuclear armed opponent, even after the democrats won the elections – does Biden really want to be remembered as THAT president? It’s one thing to send a box or two of ammo covered in dust and cobwebs and posture as a “defender of democracy”, it is another to square off against an opponent who is at home, is armed and ready. This ain’t gonna be no stand-off bombing from an A/C-ed tent in the desert and people like Milley know it.
Zero appetite in the U.K. for war. Just a lot of corporate propaganda everywhere you look that is inciting people to hate Russia.
Todays U.K. military is a joke. Has become as dumbed down as the US military. I think Britain can deploy at most two combat brigades if other units combed for the manpower. That includes light infantry who would stand very little chance against Russian equipment.
In any case, the World Cup is starting. Much of the non U.S. world across Europe, Africa and Latin America will be 100% focused on that now.
Stephen. Exactly right. I should have explained my point better. The British Army is about 72,000 total. Modern armies are about 10% “teeth to tail”. As Larry so aptly showed in his article describing how many “Generals and Admirals” the US has. So, the Brit’s literally have about 7,200 trigger pullers. Total. Under 10,000 fighting men. I could take the Oklahoma National Guard on a drill weekend and conquer their shithole country.
So the Ukrainians are that stupid they can’t tell east from west?
They did send a drone westwards over multiple NATO countries few months ago.
Shooting at an incoming cruise missile or what not, one doesn’t consider the path of one’s AA missile, just go and down that incoming one.
OTOH, a reasonably set-up AA missile should go bang while still at altitude, so the operator would have to disable the auto-destruct, I guess — they’ve shot a few like that deliberately.
But no worries, folks, this happened before and the inventive “free press / MSM” blamed Russkies for attacking Ukr with S300 as they’ve ran out of all other missiles… And, as S300 has quite a limited range, the CNN+ will have to come up with “Russkies got deep into Ukr to pull this off!”
Just calm down and cheers, JaKo

Wow, so prescient, what a coincidence, yet another one. Ze definitely has a grip on his comic timing. Why just the other day, he informed the G20 that once Ukraine was ‘freed’ (the irony), he would be freeing the Kuril Islands amongst other places. Yet another coincidence, it seems Ze had the same Geography Teacher as Truss!
I couldn’t write a piece of fiction this good, sheer lunacy.
Oh, you forgot that Ze and crew is also going to attack Iran to stop those drones.
Too much coke does that to a fellow!
NATO was always gonna enter anyway. They even admitted they can’t allow Russia to win so whatever pretext is fine as everyone knows Ukraine is spent. I warned y’all months ago don’t invest in anything but a fallout shelter because West just won’t give up 450 years of global domination w/o a fight.
Great analysis Larry. S300 AA missile for sure. Range of 120 km max. Cant see this coming from the Russian side.
Good job Bandarites. You shot down a tractor
It was probably one of those Russian Rostselmash tractors.
Looking forward to the ground freezing. Russians do a hot war on cold ground.
Physics question: Does the ambient air temperature radically change around the blast wave of an Iskander missile on impact?
9 out of 10 experts recommend thermobaric warheads for optimal thermal effect.
Yeah, they dust of some snow while annihilating the target 😉
Dunno about Iskanders but absolutely yes for the thermobaric TOS 1.
It was Russia, totally. You see, the farm it hit had a special cadre of tactical geese it was raising– honorary citizens of Poland– highly trained to, to… …well, to do something. Oh my– it’s ruffled some feathers, I see! But this has KGB Putin written all over it– it’s a secret message, his way of telling the Poles, “Your goose is cooked!”
You, sir, are a quack! : P
Great analysis Larry.
S-300AA missile for sure. Max range 120km. Impossible that Russia fires this from anywhere in their territory into Poland.
Great job Bandarites. You shot down a tractor.
“Great job Bandarites. You shot down a tractor.”
….and killed two Polish farmers. But that’s what banderites are hardwired to do, isn’t it?
Are there different ranges for types of S300 missiles? Wikipedia says 120miles. I have no background, so missile types are past my confidence level.
Yes.
I believe it could escalate to the point to a conventional war Nato vs Russia, but nuclear just not yet, the West still have not taste their own medicine when it comes to be in the place of its victims: poverty, famine, cold, regimen change, desperation, only after that they will dare to go nuclear.
I see Poland as a Ukraine wannabe, same thing with the baltic states, but I think they feel brave because they got their powerful master: the US.
S300 can be ground to ground…right?
It was probably on an intercept with a Russian Cruise missile but missed and flew into Poland
Yes. Zerohedge reported yesterday the Ukraine SAM was located NE of L’viv:
“The downed S-300 missile in Poland most likely belongs to the 540th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Ukrainian air force.
The regiment is located in Kamianka-Bugskaya, Lviv region, and is armed with S-300PS/PT systems.”
Cruise missile likely launched from Belarus and flew south/southwest towards L’viv. S-300 launch therefore flew NW to intercept, and missed.
Must have been from the 1% that Zelensky swears get through their air defense.
Whoa that’s big news, but they must know that the missle came from Ukraine? Sure they’re gonna make a big stink of it, and use it as propaganda, but I would’ve thought that NATO radar systems could trace subsonic missles easily enough. Or did the Ukrainians do it on purpose to escalate?
You can bet your last dollar that Russia has GPS tracking data for every missile they launched. My money is on either the Ukies intentionally sent a S-300 to Poland or they had a “fly away” that missed the target and traveled to Poland.
Zelensky should really be careful as I fully believe that Poland would like some of their old territory back.
Hmmmm….. if Ukulele Zel INTENTIONALLY fired a missile into Poland aren’t we now obligated to defend a NATO member and start a war against Ukraine???
Oh, the irony!
I agree Lou. Poland is likely waiting for Ukraine to collapse whereupon they will send a “peacekeeping” mission ( that they have already talked about) into the ethnically Polish part of country 404.
What “careful” you are talking about? Zelensky’s signed a decree a few months back allowing the Polish equal rights with Ukrainians in Ukraine and even be in Ukrainian government.
Half a year ago, big old Soviet drone flew westwards over multiple NATO members until it ran out of fuel and crashed. All those NATO systems did nothing.
Exactly. NATO can do wonders, but in theory only. Practically they showed the world that they are utter incompetent, their hardware is not made for a real war and they will stop to exist the second they decide to do something very stupid, by either being wiped out or by falling apart, as not every country involved in that terrorist organization will go through with that BS they call policy or decision.
Article on that errant Ukie drone from last Spring
https://www.euronews.com/2022/03/11/military-drone-likely-from-ukraine-crashes-near-croatian-capital-zagreb
On that still experimental stuff, Chlorine Dioxide for detoxification using the Jim Humble Method. Great work. Thank you sir.
As I understand it, Article 5 can only be invoked if after consultations it is agreed, not sure if it must be unanimous.
yep, and the pesky Turks get a say in it.
I would expect that if Article 5 is invoked…the EU would collapse. To many countries there with a population and possibly a military that do not want a part of going up against Russia. Especially as they now know what Russia is capable of with only a small portion of their military in Ukraine.
Ze hasn’t read Article 5. It’s basically a *request* to NATO, not a mandate, for assistance, which “can take such action as it deems necessary”, including in this case – “Start negotiations, you idiot. We’re a gun club but a damned fighting force.”
The issue with Article 5 is that it requires an “armed attack” on a member state.
An errant missile landing in your territory isn’t an “armed attack”, and the correct response would be for the Poles to demand an apology and insist on reparations for any damage that was done.
Poland would have to prove that the Russians deliberately fired missiles into their territory, and that’s ….. unlikely to be something that they can prove.
As Kiev shows, if the Russians want to shoot missiles at you then there’s no mistaking their intent.
According to initial reports, a grain facility blew up, so it could have been a grain dust explosion. They can be very bad: one in a grain silo in Louisiana in 1977 killed 36 workers. Ironically, these are literally the original thermobaric explosions.
It may be a false Ukrainian flag attack, I would not rule it out at all, we have already seen the terrorist meddles with which Ukraine plays.
Yes, Russia is annihilating the poles, but they were the ones who choose to attack Russia in ukrainian uniforms. They deserved what they got. I am tired of those warmongers arrogants poles. They think they are brave hiding behind US back? Hope Russia is gonna give them a lesson.
i cannot imagine the shame of the polish soldier who dies in in a Ukie uniform in Ukraine.
Uke Nazis slaughtered over 100,000 Polish civilians during World War II to cleanse large regions they had seized, and still retain. Millions of Poles were deported during and after the war. I have no idea why the Poles support them.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacres_of_Poles_in_Volhynia_and_Eastern_Galicia
Probabilities: One possibility –
Dont forget to consider the option that US and Russian IC heads just met, and one likely outcome is that Russia told the clowns to frack right off, so the clowns give Russia this show to demonstrate just one possible way they could bring about the end of all that is.
Just considering all possible options and posting one option for the lurkers that read here.
There are many more.
JB
Poland has a pipeline that exits the Baltic on its territory, does it not?
With the obvious signs of concentration for the coming Russian offensive… expect all sorts desperate shenanigans to postpone the inevitable destruction of nato’s proxy army. Alot of Russian cruise missiles have complex electronic warfare jamming capabilities….hence the erratic behavior of some SAM air defense systems when trying to intercept. The Polish tractor targeted was 76km from Liv…where known Ukrainian S-300 air defense regiments are based. Probably a jammed errant Ukrainian missile obviously not purposely targeting agricultural machinery on a farm. Not a false flag but any tragedy will be happily be exploited for political mileage. The voter fraud and complicit democrats/Ukrainian money laundering going on right now will be big enough for U.S to get behind any distraction. Syria was attacked by a Western backed proxy army…. armed.. financed and trained by Western interests to destroy Assad and install a gas pipeline through Syria in which Qatari gas would flow to Europe…. Israel wanted to keep the Golan heights after oil was found and U.S wanted Russia to lose its Mediterranean base. Russia softly intervened at the request of the Syrian government. When it seemed the proxy armies where about to be destroyed under Russian firepower…. Turkey and U.S intervened to create a buffer to save their investments… Expect a variation of this modus operandi very soon
Thanks for identifying that missile part.
The poles are the craziest bunch of europe. Bet they still have wet dreams of that long dead commonwealth. Still have a chip on their shoulder after being steamrolled by germans and soviets. Now they freak out about errant missiles from a war they are keeping going. It was most likely from Ukrainian air defenses but they’ll stick their fingers in their ears and yell without thought. They still won’t get their idiotic commonwealth back just like they didn’t after trying the napoleon way.
As always…excellent article. I don’t imagine the U.S. will go nuke because they know the U.S. would also be on the receiving end of that. Unless of course, one thinks this West against Russia exercise is a prelude to nuclear holocaust just to reduce the world population and usher in the “Great Reset”. The U.S. will however, really push for NATO interdiction as will England and France. The U.S. will stir the pot but they don’t like to sit at the table when the food is served up.
I do see a high probability of Poland turning “stupid” and pushing matters to a point were Russia will use a few tactical nukes as a wake up call. The West will scream and holler and Russia will respond with a “continue to push our buttons and see how bad it can really get” type of statement and Europe will settle down…fully understanding they have screwed the pooch on this and figure it is better to walk away than to be turned to ash.
There was NO Russian missle strike, this was a false flag event.
In the article from the British site The Express there are images of a vehicle that was on the equivalent of railroad ties blown onto its side with little observable damage to said vehicle. It is clear, at least to myself, that the explosion originated below the railroad ties……..
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1697080/russia-poland-missle-dead-NATO-state-Ukraine-war-pictures-world-war-3
Washington nodoubt has little to say as there is unlikely any missle radar traces that show up on the many platforms that are observing the Ukraine in its western areas.
Those pesky Ruskies never stop do they?
– First Ruskies blow up their own gas pipeline – and no access to the subsequent cover up enquiry. It was Ruskies what done it.
– Ruskies shell a nuclear power station that they surround.
– Ruskies blow up a bridge that is important to them for road communications.
– Ruskies fire over 100 missiles. Ukraine shoot down all but one.
– Ruskies fire S-300 missile to target a grain store in Poland.
– uSA plants bits of missile fragments in neighbouring country, collected from Kiev missile hits.
– uSA covers up death of 17 high ranking American officers directing Ukrainium military.
– Kerensky has a lot to say about the fit of his clothes, that he stole from a tramp .
Just when did the Ruskies start all this disinformation? And when will it stop?
Highly doubt that if Moscow intended to escalate and risk article 5 being invoked, it would fire 2 old missiles at a village in Poland.
If the intention of Kiev and the West is to create an article 5 pretext, God help NATO. The old saying ‘watch out, you may well get what you wish for’ comes to mind.
This is fake news. Russia ran out of missiles months ago.
Maybe the Russians will begin their Washing Machine Offensive soon.
They ran out of washing machines. Now they are using racoons as kamikaze drone pilots.
BTW, accusing Russians for stealing racoons from Kherson zoo is a real thing. Someone even mention it here in the comments.

in ww2 the poles thought that the french and the brits would come immediately to their aid and would attack germany on the ground putting the germans into a 2 front war. this of course never happened as instead the russians came in from the east and divided the country into 2. if they think they can trust the rest of NATO ; i could be wrong but like the george strait song have some oceanfront property in arizona to sell you . Now the TV is saying Poland was hit by missiles (plural).
Poland will invoke Article 4, not Article 5, which means there will be consultations among the NATO members. But Russia better back off, because if NATO does invoke Article 5, they could destroy the entire Russian Army in Ukraine with airpower alone. I know everyone on here will deny this is possible, but just watch how desperately Russia denies any attack on Poland; they are terrified of a NATO response. Also, why did Russia steal the raccoon from Kherson? Seriously! I mean I know Russia is a poor nation, which is why I understand when they steal Ukrainian washers and refrigerators, but why the raccoon???
They ran out of washing machine chips for missiles, so they are forced to use racoons as pilots for kamikaze drones. Russians are desperate because Japan is suing them for cultural appropriation, and triggering bad WWII memories. Besides that, their economy is in tatters, Ruble is rubble, and Putin has cancer for the 10th time. Also, they ran out of food and might have to eat the racoon.
NATO could not even destroy Yugoslav army with their mighty airpower. I am sure Surovikin is terrified of all the pronouns NATO is going to bomb him with into smithereens.
Yes they badly need washers for the microchips for their rockets which are many generations more modern than what Ukies use. Perhaps Ukies should do the same.
Terrified of a NATO response why would that be?
The coalition of the willing? US cowards won’t make any meaningful contribution and poles are already in Ukraine in the thousands and NATO weapon systems are basically depleted at this point
@Ron S
I had to come back and read again this expert opinion of yours. It’s comedy gold.
Just musing here, but if the photos are accurate and the missile really is a S-300 anti-air defense missile fired from Ukraine, might this give Poland the excuse it has been looking for to enter Ukraine in force at least as far as Lvov?
Lack of excuse is not what is preventing them. Russian missiles are.

It’s truly unnerving to see how inept the Ukrainazi liars are. When their spiritual forebears in the Wehrmacht executed the false flag exercise on the Polish border that gave Schicklgruber an excuse to cross the border with troopers, at least the lie was plausible, decked out as it was with authentic Polish uniforms and equipment. But the Banderites use a short-range anti-aircraft missile to piss off the Poles, one that could not fly the necessary distance from Russian-held territory to reach the target. Then they forget that such a missile would leave a tracking record on radars located in the area of the hit. I say this is unnerving because, if these fools are capable of frigging up a false flag this badly, what else are they capable of bungling and causing widespread damage? They’re like kindergartners playing with an undiffused bomb.
More theatre from Zelensky & Co. Another penis piano piece.
If NATO wants to get directly into the conflict it will do so through a false flag if necessary. A Ukrainian air defence missile or an actual Russian one will not make a the difference.
On the other hand NATO is pretty much in the conflict already. It is only a matter of degree. However NATO can do ultimately nothing without the approval of the Pentagon, of which it is a mere military branch.
they lost bank in FTX so now, “Biden Unveils $37BN More In Emergency Ukraine Aid On Heels Of Polish Border ‘Attack'”. who could have thunk it.

mean girls lie. so do koke heads.
The Ruskies saved the raccoon and the lama from becoming Ukrainian borscht. The Ukies will eat anything this winter.
It seems to me that one of the main reasons for the SMO was to keep Ukraine out of NATO. If NATO troops enter in force, that looks like something Russia could view as an existential threat and thus justify the nuclear option. I think most professional military thinkers understand this and would be most reluctant to see things reach that extreme. State department thinkers? Well, that may be an oxymoron. Just remember, the bear has one foot chained, but it has a key and knows how to unlock the manacle should the poky stick get too annoying.
Last I read and looked at (hopefully) real pictures, S-300 AD missiles. They don’t have the range to get from Russia to where they landed. Many of us are pointing towards Ukrainian S-300s shot off against the Russian strikes.
Fog of War. Probability Distribution Function.
Poland has developed a huge ego and become foolishly bold; Poland thinks it’s really tough. It’s leaders are simply hobb-knobbing with Western elites.
If the Poles decide they want to fight Russia then they ARE truly a failed and foolish people. Poland , Russia wants no hostility with you. Your getting played by the West, don’t help start WW-3 like you helped start WW-2.
Usual suspects and the Uki crypto switch a roos back to the hallow Congress.
Living history the death of an empire.LOL
On Topic — No. AA missiles simply missed a drone or cruise missile (best guess). But that’s not to say that Zelensky and Biden won’t try making hay out of it…
Off Topic
Citing unnamed US and Ukrainian officials, the POLITICO report said that US officials have conveyed to Ukraine that Washington was not trying to undercut Kyiv’s stated war goals of driving Russia out of all the territory it has captured. The US also said that just because there may be a pause in fighting this winter, that doesn’t mean peace talks need to happen.
While Milley is calling for peace talks, other high-level US officials are against the idea, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The Politico report said that Sullivan’s National Security Council is most resistant to the idea of talks, although there are a few aides on the NSC pushing for diplomacy.
The report said that there is a “broad sense” within the Pentagon that the winter will provide a chance to reach a political settlement and that senior US military officials don’t believe Ukraine can achieve its war aims, which include expelling Russia from Crimea. But so far, these views have not had an impact on President Biden or his most senior staff. — Dave DeCamp, AntiWar.com, via ZeroHedge [Emphasis added.]

On Monday, CIA Director William Burns met with his Russian counterpart, although the White House stressed the meeting was focused on warnings over the use of nuclear weapons, not a negotiation over Ukraine. — Dave DeCamp
Do you think Burns warned them that US rules of engagement include use of battlefield nuclear weapons? Whatever his warning, the Russian answer to Burns’ question seems pretty loud and clear…
Have the missiles and drones stopped yet?
This has happened before, S300’s (and other Ukrainian missiles), hit buildings and we reflexively blame Russia. One MSM story took it to an even greater extreme and claimed that Russia was sooooo low on artillery shells that they were starting to use their own S300’s to hit land targets.
I agree with your choices, either an accidental Ukrainian strike (friendly fire), or intentional false flag. Russia has no interest in targeting farms in Poland.
The fact that the US is confering with Russia without clown Zelenski’s presence might shed a search beam on whodunit. The missile is a soviet era S300, surface to air. It is possible to tweek its range as a surface to surface missile. The Russians reported that they haven’t targeted in Western Eukraine today. So how is a soviet era missile, with a max range of 175 km, fired by the Russians from the South or East of Eukraine to reach Eastern Poland? The only way to reach Przewodów with a tweeked S300 is from Belarus, but for what reason and what was the target? 2 poor souls.
Doesn’t that debris look more like part of the missile launch tube than a missile itself??

I wonder if this was space junk that fell to Earth that hit those farmers. Very sad either way.

Guffaw. Love it. A headline claiming that it was a Russian missile that was show down by Ukraine.
So now I suppose that Poland owes Ukraine a debt of grattitude. Who knows where in Poland the missile would have hit. Those Russian devils must have been targeting a hospital in Warsaw.
This is what I call, ‘the hero narrative’, where the ‘good guy’ can do no wrong.
“that the Democrats, some Republicans, the Ukrainians”
You’re not too clever by half. Some of BOTH might demonstrate you know your own political FUBAR. This is a tangential instance, but a giveaway, you might not understand that dividing the majority in half kills real power perfectly. Disastrously.
Kind of funny to see so many American (I think) still believe that the German 1940 campaign in France was a snoozer that lasted 7 days and the French just gave up and walked away. People should just try to read a little, and consider the British cowardice that led to Dunkirk.
As for Poland, that Central EU cancer, well who cares. Maybe the next war dismembers them and their Lithuanian murderous cousins for another 200 years and we can have peace in Central Europe.
Overall, the worst case scenario for the US is that the suicidal central EU bloodlust-infected states drag them into a real war. A war where the NA continent is NOT out of reach and where the string of 800 worldwide bases is just a supply of POWs for the Russo-Indo-Chino-Iran-Africa alliance (cause yeah, India will side 100% with Russia their eternal backers, so will every African nation that saw what happened to Libya).
Just a wild guess about resent talks about a ceasefire, but the US is likely trying to set some kind of demarcation line with the Brics+ countries. “Let us keep Europe west of the Elbe and you also stay out of South America” meanwhile you guys form your own banking system and control the rest of the planet. I can see the US throwing in Taiwan, Japan & S. Korea as long as Israel is allowed to survive.
Which brings us back to the European cancers Poland-Lithuania, the Baltics and the Balkans. Aided by the delusional UK, these festering boils will force the issue like they did in 1914 and 1939.
This just feels like its going to go out of control without anyone really realizing its happening. Like a Global Joe Biden moment.
Agree with just about everything you said. A Yank here and those of us over 40 who received a good education and learned history before the Marxist “teachers” took over the education system know that what Germany did to France was no cakewalk. Yes, we think they rolled over like a bitch dog, but they had a beautiful culture, art, architecture, industry, etc, etc, that were not destroyed because they chose to preserve those things versus having them bombed to bits. It was a rational decision, but will always be seen as cowardly by most. From what we see in the US via British comedy, TV, film, etc. is that it’s the Brits who make light of the French occupation. The Brits are merciless in ridiculing the French, so I would argue that the comments you are referring to are quite possibly Anglo but not necessarily American.
Cheeky bast.barian. And Britain had no ‘beautiful culture, art, architecture, industry, etc, etc, ?’
Just up the road to me there is a lovely hotel with a plaque saying 1225 over the front door.
Germany took the surrender monkeys in seven days, because it was raining.
Everyone was in the resistance, right? So the fifty five million letters from the populace to the reich giving away the resistance fighters were a figment of what exactly?
The road from the West entering Chablis. You pass a gravestone 20 ft off of the road. It has fresh flowers on it. A rough translation is ‘here lies (six names); members of the resistance; machine gunned by the germans; given away by their friends’. Even today the population of the village is under 4,000 souls – fresh flowers.
Many of us have an education and also have passports.
Biden doesn’t understand for sure. He doesn’t even notice where he’s stepping. NATO today is in no condition to declare war on anyone! It’s completely exhausted. I learned a few days ago that my country sent 6 broken down helicopters to Ukraine and some M113s that the US had probably left in Europe after the fall of the Wall. Not bad! In fact, all of Europe saved MM in recycling with the trash sent to Ukraine. That it will take years to get rid of so much rubbish. Have to call all the Asian scrap dealers!
In addition, any missile today is easily traceable. But it seems that in the area the radars only show one US aircraft!

The two recent terrorist attacks are proof of the state of despair in which the US finds itself. And one day we’ll even know to what extent the regrettable state of dementia in which Biden finds himself is also not being taken advantage of in Washington by some figures even more evil than Biden! With the Straussians at the head like Wolfwitz, Nuland and Blinken.
Is it possible that in the US nobody sees the figures that the President of the US is making? The figure of impediment or impeachement for health reasons is certainly foreseen in the law. No medical association has yet commented on why? It even scares the level of corruption in Washington. The US today should already be being punished for violating human rights and in particular for mistreatment of the elderly in the person of its President. Shame on you!
We are indeed ashamed!
Actually, the former physician of the White House did comment on Biden mental health, and Obama went after him.
First step is always the hardest. Since first civilian deaths in Poland just occurred, next can come easily. US should control their puppets in Kiev better, or it can be said bye bye for peaceful life of Polish civilians in border area.
False flag?
At this point it’s all a circus and the taxpayers are the clowns . . . or the trained chimps?
Not a word spoken by a politician or the MSM can be taken as anything but propaganda and / or PSYOPS. Not one.
All we get as “news” is bullsh!t.
Never in the history of man has weaponized bullsh!t taken the importance it has today.
Either we take their power away from them and re-found the Constitutional Republic or we give up and walk meekly into the globalist genocide and for a few destined to become the serf class in the neo-feudalism to soon be perfected to a techno-art form, slavery.

1. Burn up before impact or
2. Total impact.
Hitler didn’t know when to stop until he shot himself in the head. Only crazy people fight to the point of oblivion. That why the trainer throws the towel in the ring.
Just got to face the fact, the US aristocracy will not stop until they get both options simultaneously and America be damned.💀

F-T-E, spot on. No one is coming to our rescue. With both the ballot box and jury box non-functional (both corrupted), that leaves us with the ammo box as our last hope. The question is how much longer will we citizens put up with this $hit before we start decorating lamp posts with the elite scum?
A civil war in the US would be beyond horrific. Much better to vote with your feet
Biden laying off for now.

The Mouse that Roared. Ukraine has finally figure out a way to get NATO troops into the Ukraine. Atack a Nato member state like Poland and invoke a response. Belligerent Ukraine has to be invaded from the west to save Europe.
Article 5 is a myth. No European nation has a military capable of anything besides gay pride parades.
When keeping to western logic, nothing will happen because the brave Ukrainian army will all alone win the war in a few days.
Why starting a world war when the war will anyway be over.
Let’s see…
Could even be a “double” false flag: US tells Ukraine to do a false flag with the Poland strike, all the while US is preparing to use the more reality-based aftermath as a way to disentangle with them.
Could very well be. Could be the US provoked another assinine response from Zelensky as the means to convince the naysayers that Ukraine is hell-bent on a suicide-mission and desperately hoping for our company.
I feel a nuclear false flag attack is now more likely than ever. The nazis desperately want a NATO involvement. With Surovikin going after their infrastructure in a big way, Bidet embroiled in the Fried Bankman scam, and winter already beginning, this is probably their only hope now the S 300 false flag failed.
“The nazis desperately want a NATO involvement.”
Yeah, the UkoNazis are down to two options at this point, it seems to me, they can execute a proper false flag to draw in Nato, which would require a nuke of some kind, blowing up a tractor in a field in Poland ain’t gonna cut it, or they can go on a Death Ride.
Execute a mini-version of the Death Ride of the Third Reich in ’45, only this time, in the end, the leader won’t shoot himself in the head with a pistol, he’ll retire to a mansion in Florida instead.
Time’s just about up for a Nato involvement, false flag or not. This recent Russian grid salvo, from what I could gather from statements from both sides, just went 85 for 85, in other words, not a single missile fired was intercepted.
Or missed its target, as accuracy is clearly not an issue. The Ruskies are splitting arrows with arrows.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qltVFHPjPRo
I think this video migth be sending a message as well:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECsTr93sUew
Hey Nato, go ahead, we dare you. Try to set up a no-fly zone, in an air space that we now own.
Not even in your dreams 🙂
You don’t need some false flag to start a war. Why are so many people hung up on that? They already falsley try to declare Russia a terror state. You need some extra invitation or reason?
If the had a chance to defeat Russia, they already would have done so. Today they had their “false flag” opportunity and nothing happend.
Tells you already everything. Doesn’t it?
Elensky went off the reservation today. For a proper false flag he should have got the approval of his owners first.
Also, even to find a casus belli for his planned bombing of Syria Obama first had to have his pet headchoppers create a false flag chemical weapons attack, remember?
The way I see it is that Article 5 is a red herring, NATO will not get involved directly, only by proxy. If NATO gets directly involved, it will show the American population (and the world) that the $800 billion plus we spend each year has been grifted away by purposeful endless wars and US/NATO is an empty vassal.
My fear is that in order to cover up this multi trillion dollar theft from the American taxpayer, a huge distraction will be needed. Nuclear weapons fit this bill.
Similar to when Sec Def Rumsfeld said the Pentagon cannot account for trillions of dollars and then 9/11 happened.
That’s my conspiracy theory and I hope I am wrong.
Biden is surprisingly saying it wasn’t a Russian missile. I just read it on the DailyMail website. Weird!
Tells you who calls the shots there. Tell the truth or go and declare Artice 5 and watch being wiped out withing hours. One side is really not f**king around. The other still thinks they are in charge as long as nothing really brakes their rhythm. Now, something really broke their rhythm.
Note than an AP statement that doesn’t blindly repeat Hellensky’s narrative is something we didn’t experience before.
Redlines are drawn. Whatever the poles says.
Just a theory, but Russia probably invDed the Ukraine in order to secure control of the gas, oil, and coal reserves of that area, as well as the pipeline routes into the European gas network. Thus Romania, with its gas and oil reserves near Ploesti and which once was occuppied by the Soviet Union was probably next on the menu. That is why the US 101 is there along with French construction crews. Over a long period Russia signed agreements guaranteeing the borders of Ukraine.
It is hard to see Russia as a good guy or an innocent in all this.
By the way, Communists/Bolsheviks/Leftists call all “nationalists” who reject Russian or Socialist domination “Nazis”. Many Ukrainians actively fought the Communist/Russian brutality due to their long independent history. The Russians don’t take rejection very well. That happened again when they marched toward Kyiv (Kiev) expecting to be welcomed as liberators and instead were greeted with Javelin missiles. The Ukrainians have a memory of what Russian conquest means. The Ukrainians ain’t got much, but they are smart and determined. They mean!
It’s not hard to see them as the good guys to others in here. Especially if you really see what they do and how. But not everyone is willing to accept that. Russia is not the former Soviet Union, even as many people would want that.
You don’t need to be a smart-ass to see what happened in Ukraine and how long ago this whole “thing” was planed ahead. The west just didn’t take in account that they would be beaten so easily on every front, economically, socially, financially and millitary. But that is what happens every time the west starts some conflict on the planet. It ends in an utter failure for them.
I also think at some point people start wishing this whole conflict escalates into a real war, so the west can be put out of it’s embarrassing misery once and for all. If those warmongers in the west don’t realize who they poked and are now up to, they trully deserve to be remained of that in a way they never ever dare to do it again. Most people want peace and a future. Not what the collective west has in mind for their “sheep”. Not since most western governments are indebted beyond imagination and have no way out beside official bankruptcy or some devastating event as a war. Defeating Russia and looting its vast resources is not up to them. They now know that.
Putin did not want to include the Ukraine into Russia. Please listen to what he said publicly. He wanted a stop of artillery attacks to the eastern Ukraine, and no weapons deployed along the border that can reach Moscow. He was ready to discuss this many times. The NATO refused to find a compromise.
This will not mean that Russia is always good. History is never filled with perfection. But here, we could have had another way out. We could have no war.
Russia spent years trying to avoid war via the Minsk accords. An agreement that would have been good for Ukraine and Europe too. But the neocons wrecked it by empowering a small minority of headbangers and the rest is history. There is no evidence that Russia was after their oil/gas, it just turn out most of it lies in the Russian part of Ukraine. Which is now part of Russia.
However, their preference for many years was clearly a diplomatic solution via Minsk.
Yep, Russia has such a desperate deficit in oil, gas and coal reserves, there’s no telling what it could do next.
Are you one of Zelensky’s PR people, btw? The lunacy fits.
Good god, man….if you can’t recognize a card-carrying nazi ideologue when you see one, even when they’ve published their manifestos on line, well then……….
Trouble is, you can…but it’s too inconvenient for you, so you work hard to relabel it. Just like that Freeland creature up north.
You ARE in a nutshell…… Ukraine.
Now GTH. We in America need your level of insanity like we need another hole in the head.
BTW: Did you like that Times Square advert “Black Hole, One guy in Ukraine”?
Best you take that to heart and wise up. Your fifteen minutes of fame are winding down fast.
Didn’t understand your last comment. “They mean!”? Did you mean Ukrainians are mean, because that’s pretty obvious when you see how they behaved these last 8 years towards anyone that might have had issue with their fascist agenda.
Or did you not know that Bandera was a fascist? Heck, even major russophobe Tim Snyder wrote so in his articles.
The biggest threat to peace is the west seeing that George McClellan is the Russian commander. If they say it was Ulysses Grant things would be different.
War is inevitable. If the West lets Russia win, the economy and hegemonic power of the USA and its allies will go to the bottom of a cesspool, not to say septic.
Wall Street, Deep State et WEF Locuta, Causa Finita Est
“And as for their implied cowardice, have you never heard of the battle of Verdun?”
And during the 1940 battle of France they had as many casualties as the US had during the entire WWII… 100K vs 400K (you sure know America had about 4 or 5 times the pop of France).
In short in 40 they fought like lions and even won some battles but there was no match on Earth at that time for the German army.
And Curt you force me to remind you the 1st time American soldiers faced Rommel’s in 1941 they dropped their gun and ran like schoolgirls…
Same goes for the reputation the Italian soldiers had for surrendering when the first shot was fired on the battlefield. They too fought like lions in Africa.
History, not gossips or pub talk, is mandatory here on Larry’s blog.
The fallen ones thank you for not desecrating their memory.
Riiiiiight. And do you believe the French public will rise up, join the proud French Army, and fight the Russians? How do you think a French and Russian war would go today? France has not done anything but kill unarmed Africans since their last debacle in Vietnam. And done that poorly. Whatever fighting men France had died in the 40’s. Which points out their reliance on the Foreign Legion even for the tiny African genocides they perpetuate.
Okay, but the French are past masters at puffing up their military and the reality is that they have been proved far less capable than they profess when push comes to shove. I’m sure in recent years every Nato member has been relying on the supposed might of Uncle Scam to back-up their politics by other means. And then we all realise that, oops, the cupboard is bare. Nato might is a con, it’s all just smoke and mirrors – oh, and they all rely on the the whole G7 MSM 7 social media to back-up their charades. That’ll win the war. This is why Finland wants to join Not now Nato as they currently spend 4% of GDP, whereas when members only 2%. Happy days.
Well, Joe Biden’s Earpiece ™ has just put a spike in the “Russia Did It!” narrative.
You can hear it straight from the lips of Joe Biden’s Earpiece’s Homunculus:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxU7AtKVZmg
This is such a sudden backpedal that you can take it to the bank that this was an errant Ukrainian S-300, and the Americans have concluded very quickly that they can not hope to pretend otherwise.
Otherwise Joe Biden’s Earpiece would even now be condemning Russia for this dastardly attack on innocent Polish farmers, facts be damned.
Which they aren’t, because they know they can’t.
I do like the comment by one of the posters over at MoonOfAlabama who said that it is possible that this wasn’t just a Ukrainian S-300, but actually an S-300 that was donated by Poland to Zelensky.
If that does turn out to be the case then all I can say is one word: Karma.
The probability for a lost S-300 to hit someone in a desert land during the G20 is very, very low. For this reason, there is a hight probability that the missile was intentionally launched by someone on the innocent polish peasants. One can assume that this story is a provocation.
You were ahead of this one, Larry.
The Polish government issued a statement – https://www.foxnews.com/world/polish-president-says-no-proof-missile-landed-nato-territory-fired-russia
The latest news I’m seeing says that the S300 was fired long after the last Russian missile hit in the area and the air raid sirens had been long quiet. If true, that says it was an attempted psy-op, with its ham-fisted incompetence indicating increasing desperation in either the regime itself or in the wider West, or both.
The reality is that while Surovikin’s evacuation from Kherson widens his strategic options, the West’s options started narrowing long before he took command. Since his appointment, they’ve narrowed dramatically.
The West relied entirely on sanctions and a Russian military defeat in UA to carry its geopolitical ambitions forward, and is now facing failure on both fronts. Outside the West’s echo-chamber, the rest of the world’s nations are treating them like losers and moving on.
So far, they’ve limited themselves to sabotage and pulling faces at international conferences, but as infrastructure disappears and heavy equipment supplies dwindle the West will soon find itself facing some “difficult decisions”. Namely, it’ll have to either go Che Guevera in the hope that something turns up, or it’ll have to bet the farm and risk everything. “Sorry, just kidding” ain’t in the cards.
I have no idea what they’ll ultimately choose, but I suspect Surovikin will soon be looking at Syria 2.0. As it happens, he was very successful in Syria, handing ~50% of Syria’s territory over to the Syrian govt within a year of his arrival. I think that at least part of the decision to appoint him as overall commander was based on the fact that, as it also happens, he began by reversing some of the gains his predecessors had made, forcing ISIS to fight the war he wanted to fight thereby. A war they couldn’t win. May the war he wants to fight come his way again.
There is no chance of NATO. The largest NATO army in Europe is Turkey, and they are getting along very well with Russia. Our army here in the UK can fit in a football stadium. There is zero desire across the EU, apart from some Baltic crackpots.
Game, set and match to Russia.
Well; Pres Duda of Poland says it is still Russia’s fault because Ukraine was defending itself.
You just can’t beat the mental gymnastics of children.
Why are Poles fighting alongside Banderites who treated them the same as they treated Jews and Russians?
It makes no sense, indeed I would not be surprised if these two groups were fighting each other before long. Perhaps this event is just the start?

“It makes no sense …”
No, it doesn’t.
A Soviet/Russian-made missile? ALL the stocks are Russian-made for God’s sake. From S-300 onward. Curious that an S-300 missile could do all that damage on the ground. Overturned, burning trucks, 2 dead, an entire block set afire. What’s the warhead on an S-300 missile, 40-80 pounds? That’s nothing. Anyway, everyone in MSM on out to Biden and then Democrat Senator Chris Murphy this morning backed off from the whole thing and blamed it on the Ukies firing indiscriminately at the incoming Russian cruise missile barrage.
To those of you who are advocating a “bring it on” stance for a NATO/Russia war, I gotta say you have never been in this stuff or you wouldn’t be such cheerleaders. People die, those that don’t die, suffer. Where’s your humanity for Christ’s sake? I’ll step off the soapbox now.
Meanwhile, something tells me wiser heads in American/NATO intelligence and the Pentagon have the reins now, something Larry and Martyanov and so many others have been watching for, for months. This isn’t something MIC is prepared for and they all know it. You’re not going to invoke NATO defense articles over this, although the psycho Poles are going to the UN to give it the old college try today. They ought to know better. And maybe they should consider this a warning about continuing to be a conduit for weapons inbound to Ukraine. My humble opinion, your mileage MAY vary. Maybe my say is horseshit, Larry and others here are more qualified to judge THAT.
For now, crisis averted. Works for me, fellas.
I am from Yugoslavia, and have “been in this stuff”. While we were suffering, whole western world was celebrating. I say “bring it on”, and let God rain sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah (although I’m an atheist).

Well said…
Well, if Chris Murphy, who preferred holding hands with neo-nazi Tyahnybok at Maidan and touting him as Europe’s great hope, is backing off – that means the whole shit show is on a slowmo crash course and frantically scrambling for reverse gear but it’s been so long, it’s forgotten how to double-clutch and grinding gears in its head trying to pull it off.
Time to fight to the last Polack! Time for Rob Reiner to resurrect his role as Archie Bunkers son in law. Slava Meathead!
have heard allot of discussion about the french. they were not bad soldiers; just had poor tactics and leadership with an outdated mindset. the germans had shed their ww1 thinking and had adapted to a new style of warfare . They fully realized the potential of the tank since in ww1 they had been on the receiving end of these and never developed in ww1 more than a token tank force. Their elite force during the battle of poland and the battle of france after were the panzer and motorized divisions which were more than a match for anything else at the time the allies had. In addition they had the best fighter plane during these 2 battles the me-109 which gave them air superiority and an air force which was built to support the ground forces . with air superiority the stuka dive bomber was able to raise havoc on allied troops and demoralize them at the same time.
During the battle of France the Germans won the ground battle with essentially 10 armoured and 6 motorized divisions; approx. 200,000 men with 2439 tanks. The remaining German divisions were infantry and had the horse as the prime mover and moved slowly to mop up.
The other key infantry element were the 500 paratroopers who using gliders took the key Belgium fort Eben Emael and others air dropped who held key bridges until they were relieved.
In the air the Germans had a real advantage with 4000 planes including 860 fighters and 380 stuka dive bombers which were the 1st precision guided weapons in history able to drop 1000 lb. bombs with pinpoint accuracy.
The allied armies had 3800 tanks of mostly superior quality to the Germans but most were deployed in battalion sized formations so were used piecemeal. The German armoured divisions had a radio in every tank and special command tanks; so their command and cntrl was far superior to the allies they also had the ability to call in air strikes which the allies did not. The Germans fought a constant war of manoeuvre which the allies who were still thinking in terms of trench warfare could not comprehend or deal with for the most part. during the battle rommels ghost panzer division itself captured 97000 prisoners.

Now that Poland has been hit and suffered casualties, does it have sufficient grounds to invade Ukraine?
Not as part of NATO, but on its own?
“Prompted in part by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. the Polish government announced plans in March 2022 to roughly double the size of the armed forces to 300,000 personnel, and to spend at least 3% of GDP on defence.” (Wikipedia)
What is the provenance of the above image of the intact 5V55 S300 missile?
I understand two missiles were involved, which pretty much excludes a technical glitch.
But nobody is talking about the deliberate nature of this attack [!]
ukraine strike Poland? so now the NATO must attack Ukraine, according the 5° article….
Does this count as Ukraine entering NATO, one missile at a time?
Well, looks like it was Ukraine. But it’s Russia’s fault! This conflict continues with some truly hilarious moments. I could already see NATO invoking Article 5 against Selensky! Poland must send more cannon fodder to Ukraine or the next one will be worse. And Poland must also wait in line for US air defense systems. As someone said here yesterday, I hope the next one lands in Lithuania. First the most hysterical!
General Surovikin’s response to the S-300 on the Polish farm “Scandal”:
“Ukrainian S-300s have already shot down a Romanian fighter jet and a Polish tractor, killing three in the process on NATO territory. That’s three more people than the Russian Federation has killed since 1991 on NATO territory.”

I think that should be a Quote of the War nominee. I would also like to nominate Brian Berletic in the category, Best Video Title, for his latest:
Russian Missiles Strike Ukrainian Infrastructure, Ukrainian Missiles Strike Polish Farm

This war would be kinda funny, if it wasn’t so deadly serious.
Ukrainians seem to have a hardwired preference to attack civilians. Donbass passe, must revisit the Poles to stay true to form.
Well, here is another reason to just love that festering hive of corruption, FTX.
It seems that they lavishly funded a bogus “study” to undermine the potential viability of treatments/prophylaxis against Covid a couple of years back. Links to a video and some other coverage here at cryptogon dot com.

France made Catherine Deneuve! 🥴
ooh la la! Une belle classique, bien sur, et une type un petit peu de la femme fatale – just my type.

Yugoslavia liberated itself. Red Army participated in liberation of Beograd and heavily fortified Srem Front, in exchange for free pass thru already free Slaviona, Croatia; toward Austria. My then 15yrs old father fought there, so I have a first hand testimony.
That missile with the welded on pink strengthening bar looks like it was planted there, just like the so-called Syrian gas attack. That whole scene of the over turned truck looks fake to me.
