The disgraced General and former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, David Petraeus, appears to have a touch of schizophrenia. During an interview with France’s L’Express last Saturday, retired General Petraeus first insisted that Ukraine has the Russians on the run:
Petraeus . . . claimed that Russia has little chance of reversing the trajectory of the conflict in Ukraine thanks to America’s financial assistance.
Additionally, the U.S. has “many options” should Russia decide to launch a nuclear weapon, he said.
At the same time, Petraeus said that his earlier words had described “just one” of “many options” America has in store in case Russia resorts to the use of nuclear arms, which he called an “extremely bad decision.”
The general also said that he still thinks there is nothing Russia could do to change the situation on the frontlines, which, according to Petraeus, is unfavorable to Moscow.
https://tapnewswire.com/2022/10/david-petraeus-says-us-may-lead-multinational-force-against-russia-in-ukraine/
Got that? “THERE IS NOTHING RUSSIA COULD DO to change the situation on the frontlines.” Game over. The Russians are beat.
So, here is the question–If the Russians are trapped and destined to lose; if the Russians can do nothing to change the inevitable outcome of the war, which means their total defeat, then why does Petraeus do a volte face stating that U.S. intervention could be necessary? This contradicts the meme that the Russians are beat, Putin is toast and Ukraine can see Moscow in the distance.
Petraeus, inadvertently displaying his dull intellect, tells the reporter that Ukraine may not have the war wrapped up and that the United States “MAY” lead an international rescue team into the conflict:
The United States may lead a multinational coalition against Russia in Ukraine regardless of NATO involvement, according to retired U.S. Army General David Petraeus.
In an interview with France’s L’Express on Saturday, Petraeus predicted that Russia could take actions in Ukraine that are “so shocking and so horrific” that direct U.S. intervention would be necessary.
“We are talking about the intervention of the North Atlantic Alliance in the event of an attack on one of the NATO members. But it is necessary to consider the option of using not NATO forces in Ukraine, but multinational forces that have nothing to do with NATO,” Petraeus, who also briefly served as CIA director, said.
https://tapnewswire.com/2022/10/david-petraeus-says-us-may-lead-multinational-force-against-russia-in-ukraine/
Petraeus established his reputation as the man who does not think with his brain when he was fired from the CIA for security lapses, that included banging his paramour in his CIA office–under a desk no less. He apparently relied on a less prominent member of his anatomy for cogitation.
Which is it Dave? Ukraine’s victory is inevitable and there is nothing the Russians can do to stop it, or, the U.S. needs to rally a multi-national force to stop Russia and save Ukraine?
The euphoria from late September about Ukraine’s counter offensive, which crushed the Russian troops and sent them fleeing in panic, has evaporated. Poof!! It seems that the Russian front has stiffened and Russia is systematically turning off the electricity throughout western Ukraine. I have been in Kiev. A large portion of the population lives in high rise buildings that are at least 10 stories tall. If the power is out, water is not flowing to those upper floors. That means no toilets and no showers. Not even cold ones.
Ukraine’s President Zelensky’s Government tacitly admits that Russia’s missile and drone campaign targeting the electricity infrastructure has been a success. According to British Sky News:
Russian missile and drone strikes are thought to have damaged up to 40% of the country’s energy infrastructure, leaving Kyiv in darkness.
A Ukrainian minister has urged refugees who fled the country after Russia’s invasion to stay away this winter.
Iryna Vereshchuk, a deputy prime minister, said blackouts caused by Moscow’s bombardment of power stations would put a heavy strain on the country.
How can Russia, who reportedly is getting the stuffing beat out of it by the Ukrainian military, still capable of causing widespread damage to Ukraine’s critical infrastructure? Too bad the French reporter did not ask that question to General Petraeus.
In case you missed it, I was on RT’s Cross Talk on Thursday with Scott Ritter.
For as early as march we have been told how badly Russia is losing, running out anything and everything. But for some reason the Russian orcs have Zugang to anything and everything. Western MSM believes we are all imbeciles.
Most of us are.
In a year, when the Ukraine has been nuked from orbit, Europe is a burned-out hulk, Moscow and Washington, DC have been erased from existence — who is going to know? More importantly, who is going to tell us? The fully owned and captured so-called free press ?
The way things are now, a 25-megaton device could go off in a city near you and who could you tell about the bright light in the sky? Answer: Nobody.
The way the propaganda machine is running things these days we could all be dying from a lethal dose from Chernobyl or Fukushima, and we wouldn’t know. “It’s COVID man.”
Yeah. Stay home. Lock your doors. Don’t go outside. Stop bothering people. [sarcasm]
Haha. I agree. Russia could control all of Ukraine and it would be called a win by NATO by Biden and media. I saw the 101st airborne on the Ukraine border piece on the news. They are rockin for a fight.
There must be a belief Russia can’t take a prolonged war in Ukraine and will eventually cave.
My feeling is USA’s citizens no longer want what US ruling class wants. Who the fk wants to fight for the cksucker that wants to cut your pension? He is the enemy not some 25 year Russian soldier.
Maybe one day those guys will be hanging by their balls from lamp posts on Wall Street
C’mon man! Duck & cover, you’ll be right mate.
We’ve been told since 2014 how badly the Russians are doing. First Nato wanted Sevastopol, then Russia took Crimea. Then Tartus in Syria came under the crosshairs. Where they lost their entire ISIS mercenary army. Want a good laugh check Petraeus on Syria!
Diplomatically Russia has swung Erdogan’s Turkey around since then – hence the non-Nato involvement being presented.
Ever since the biggest act of state sponsored terrorism ie.Nordstream, the gloves have come off. Escalation is carefully executed per plan.
Russia is defending, they win by default by just being in Ukraine. Nevermind that they are decimating Nato ‘trainers’/Ukro/mercenary/voluntary forces.
It will become problematic if there is an attempt to enter Russia. Never, basically.
The Russians also have the Saudis switching sides. We’ve got lots of ISIS fighters on our side – and cornered the Nazi market – so no worries…right?
These are essentially the MAGA Donald alliances made, but now they gravitate towards Russia because the USA is now the number 1 threat militarily.
Brazil, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, these were the allies Donald took charge of and was going to lead into a world peace, semi one world state.
That didn’t work out, for obvious reasons in 2020 and 2022. So Putin is now doing MRGA as lead. Make Russia Great (God’s) Again.
Donald and Putin are secret allies after all.
I wonder what will Saudis do once Trump team has Democrats on the ropes after November or two years later if Trump or one from Team Trump become president.
Seeing how the Trump crazies and Jared turned up at Davos on the Dessert few days back I worry if Saudi transition towards Russia or even multipolarity will stick in the long term.
Who empowers this half-wit to speak for us?
Ask Ye.
I found the below Tweet, supposedly about AP reporter asking for information, entirely hilarious [and in a way entirely like the absurdity called Petraeus]:

What is it with all this Twitter activity lately. Twitter is everywhere. Is it because Elon Musk is buying the company? Who is pushing this Twitter media marketing plan?
You all realize that Elon Musk wouldn’t be “The Richest Man in the World” without “The Richest Government in the World” funding his every move?
Elon Musk is a government man. Elon Musk is protected. Anybody who has gone up against him has “mysteriously disappeared.” Twitter was going to sue because Musk was going to buy Twitter. Yeah? And how did that work out? Musk is buying Twitter (or not) because the propaganda machine is growing exponentially. Where did all those billions come from? The creature is growing out of control. At this point the PTB have to buy a social media company all their own. You really think Musk is going to restore the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Free Speech, Freedom of Expression, the free press by buying Twitter? Seriously? Elon Musk is a government man.
You clearly know him well.
I am the Batman.
Oh, yeah. Clearly. You again.
Right on, he endorsed all WEF’s ideas that they put forth. People are really stupid at this point unless Elon Musk has somehow changed and I don’t see that anywhere.
And Putin is a WEF man by the same sort of analogizing…
Musk is playing both sides. I see all these people literally saying that he’s “our billionaire” and I want to puke right there in the middle of our democracy.
Ritter in the house?
A multinational force that has nothing to do with NATO.does not that statement exclude the US.this stupidity hole has no bottom!
What is your take on the news that Finland will become a deFacto NATO member before official membership, and, that NATO nuclear weapons will be stationed there?
Seems like the Cuban missiles all over again with the roles reversed. Is this in the hopes of forcing a two-front war on Russia? Or goading Russia into a first-strike? Can Russia blockade Finland like the US Navy did to Cuba in 1962?
I think it is a dangerous provocation. I hope ;the Finns come to their senses.
The Finns, like other European nations, have no sense or cop on.
Their leaders are all on tape also, tapes kept in Langley. I hear Langley keeps the largest stockpile of pornographic film in the world, featuring young European political hopefuls and the playthings Jeffrey and co liked to film them with.
Question is would politicians from Nordic countries be ashamed of their sexual activities being broadcast to the world. I don’t think they might be too averse to it.
I think the Finns got the same whiff of whatever General Betrayus got under his desk at the CIA. It’s rotted their brains. Too bad about Sanna Mirella Marin. Why is it women can’t handle advanced citizenship?
“Russian missile and drone strikes are thought to have damaged up to 40% of the country’s energy infrastructure, leaving Kyiv in darkness.”
If the 40% is just more of the “Fog of War,” and propaganda, can we just assume that the real figure is actually larger, maybe double?
Sanna Marin Has two mommies.
Unlikely seeing how they have a drug addict party girl as PM. Children are running the show.
“I hope ;the Finns come to their senses.”
Oh you are a funny guy!
Is not Finland yet another country governed by a WEF trained bimbo?
Like Estonia, Moldova, New Zealand and others, agenda compliant women popped out of the same toothy-smile mould. Or perhaps Macron, Scholz and Turdeau, emasculated men, all doing as they’re programmed to sellout their nations and people for a half-baked globalist agenda.
The puppet masters say host nukes, they ask how many? What colours do the come in?
Agreed. Finland stayed on good terms with Stalin for decades, because that was necessary to its survival. Now their hard-won neutrality is gone, because Putin is apparently a bigger monster.
I wonder what Russia could possibly do that would rise to level of “so shocking and so horrific” that direct U.S. intervention would be necessary.
Possibly releasing the documents on Covid from the Ukrainian biolabs? Or perhaps the financial records of all they money sent to pay off prominent American politicians? Oh I know, how about the details of all the child sex trafficking that went on through Ukraine for the Epstein network.
That would raise a few emergency flags in the beltway.
Absolutely the case for all three of your points. In addition to being one of the most bureaucratically corrupt nation-states on Earth, the Ukraine was *the* critical central node in (a) American-sponsored bioweapons development (including but not limited to lab-enhanced SARS-CoV-2 and smallpox), (b) Zionist-directed illicit organ harvesting, and (c) elite-managed trafficking of preteen girls (i.e., age 12 and under) into the global sex slavery circuit.
The Russian Federation has put a stop to all of the above, which in the eyes of WEF-networked politicians, is an intolerable crime. Hence this year’s desperate actions to funnel money and arms to the Ukraine, and, simultaneously, to dismantle global trade flows; this will come at the cost of the permanent impoverishment and immiseration of the populations of the collective West. One consequence: price inflation will continue to rage out of control in 2023, jumping from goods to services and back to goods again, making a mockery of the Federal Reserve’s attempts to contain it.
The Russian Federation is fighting to preserve the very values that once made the West great. How anyone could take the side of the Ukraine in this conflict boggles my mind, unless said persons enjoy their own (present and especially forthcoming) suffering.
The Ukrainian people themselves have much to gain. Its the poorest nation in Europe yet it resource rich, people relatively well educated with a good work ethic.*** By all rights they should have a good standard of living, but the collective west is busily strip mining the economy, kicking back a small skim to the political class and oligarchs while as usual screwing over the people.
This was the plan for Russia and they don’t like it that Vlad derailed their gravy train.
*** try getting your hotel AC repaired in Paris on a Friday.
The next Monday is always some idiot holiday or another. You’ll be lucky to get someone to show up by the next Friday.
In Kiev I had the heat on a Sunday in under 4 hours.
Unfortunately we still don’t know whether Putin is or is is not a supporter of the WEF Agenda. He has been a young global leader too.
No. That program did not come into existence until Putin would have been too old to be enrolled. Nice try.
Plenty of other YGL’s out there, but they pretty much are all in the West, and some of them either at the top or near the top of their countries’ political systems.
This is a fallacious argument. Tom Luongo has explained the flaw at https://tomluongo.me/2022/10/11/whos-afraid-of-tulsi-gabbard-everyone/ . President Putin is not a billiard ball You must break away from linear thinking to understand him.
The WEF claim he was but there is enough commentary, evidence to the contrary across the net.
Schwab claimed him but it was an egregious lie. That, however, has made making a true distinction difficult because it has taken on a life of its own. Putins speeches lately, such as the one at Valdai, should put an end to that but will not.
Similarly, look back at an entire year of Stewart Rhodes being bashed as a fed by the very people who would be his natural support. How quiet all of the yappers got when that subnarrative unraveled. And right now try to decipher where Patriot Front loyalty lies. Knowing is often ignorance. If pigs had wings, they still couldn’t fly.
I am taking Ukraine’s side. Ukraine Donbass that is.
Interesting points…..the New York/New Jersey analogy makes total sense for the gentle velvet glove treatment by Russian and Ukrainian militias….the Lugansk and Donesk are actually Ukrainian oblasts so the conflict has been a civil war technically from the colour revolution till February 2022…..and the massive amount of man portable anti armour flooded into the country does fit the possible narrative that NATO expected a blitzkrieg and long drawn out painful insurgency/occupation.. but every indicator points to the financial collapse of pax Americana and a desperate animal in pain will do anything……so an attack on land will be impossible without massive mobilization and half the fruity gender confused draftee demographic will be non effective after their fourth COVID booster….. So any attack will have to be nuclear …IMHO
Mobilization in the USA would be a reality show par excellence.
Joe,
I take your points, including (with reluctance and total disgust) the possibility of “somebody” responding with nuclear weapons, perhaps one of the stupid, incompetent NATO apprentices that were never before thought trustworthy stewards of Nukes, but who now qualify somehow.
But as long as we are in the realm of what NATO and the U.S. might do, here is an angle I had not seen discussed anywhere before (granting that the 101st Airborne in Romania is certainly not set up to meet Russia’s Army head-on):
https://thesaker.is/nato-set-to-attack-tiraspol/ to which I second the author’s “??”
Besides Shoigu’s likely quashing of the dirty radioactive bomb through the evidence he disclosed in his phonecalls to Western Defense Ministers, and despite everything else being fluid, the question comes to mind whether the Ukraine could even muster a spearhead and drive up to the border of Transnistria without Russian forces tearing in right behind it? And not really off-topic, in a barrage of Russia’s TOS-1a thermobaric “flamethrower” rockets, are the shock waves sharp enough to reliably set off land mines? If so (I know nothing of military science) such would seem to be an effective way to clear the path of any Russian offensive advance.
One final question: With even more Russian submarine power now in the Black Sea, surely the bridges over the Dniester would be made quick work of should 101st Airborne units try to cross, eh?
I look forward to what everybody thinks.
Hmmm, Russian howitzers do a great job of firing 6″ velvet gloves… At this rate nobody need have cold fingers in Kiev come Christmas.
Larry,
I noticed that you and a few other people seem to (desperately?) find reason within the ranks in USA. There is none left, don’t you see? We can write books on this topic but books only make a difference if the people who NEED to read them, end up reading them.
But to help you out – would it help if I told you that it must be something in the water/air/soil/food? It could be as simple as that…
p.s. It would seem to me that Putin/Xi and the rest of the world have come to the same conclusion I have. What do you think?
Lack of education. The average American is rather parochial.
I’d submit that “lack of education” oversimplifies the matter. Even today’s average American is immeasurably better educated than say, Charlemagne (who was illiterate).
Rather, I’d say that it’s too much of entirely the wrong sort of education. So wrong that it amounts to indoctrination. The longer you stay in school the deeper into the official ideology you sink, the more of your life you have invested in it, and the more difficult it becomes to extricate oneself later.
Material success after leaving school compounds the difficulty. A successful (wo)man of 50 can’t readily toss their entire life’s experience and perspectives over the fence and build new ones based on diametrically opposed assumptions. Doing so is fraught with psychological dangers and discomforts.
I find comfort in the fact that so many Americans, 1/3 or more, have or are in the process of abandoning the assumptions underlaying the current western narrative and searching for alternative explanations of how the world got to this point. Europeans are a decade, maybe a generation behind them in this regard.
OT, but I probably never mentioned how much I love your handle.
Coming from British stock going way back – my great grandfather was a bona-fide pith-helmeted Bwana shouldering the white man’s burden for King and Country.
Bravo on the handle, no doubt a great story behind it.
What over-educated people who believe all the reigning dogmas have is this desperate, pathetic need to delude themselves. And that is somehow inculcated in people as part of their (mis)education. Getting “red-pilled” is largely about overcoming that conditioning.
Education: Consider this quote from an American education expert:
“The US has never been first in the world, nor even near the top, on any international tests. Consistently over the past half century, American students have typically scored near the median at best, but most often being in the bottom quartile. The historical record indicates that American elementary students are only average at best, their performance degrading year by year until high school seniors perform last in almost all international tests. The International Science Studies that began in high schools in the late 1960s and early 1970s found that 14-year-olds were below average and seniors scored last of all countries. In the International Mathematics tests that began in the 1960s, American high school seniors scored last of all nations. In the 1982 International Mathematics Study, high school seniors placed at the bottom on almost every test. In terms of the PISA tests, American students – placing last – are simply following the pattern that has been consistent for the past 50 years or more.”
And a quote from one news report: “In October of 2013 a new global report issued by the OECD found that Americans ranked well below the worldwide average in just about every measure of skill. In math, reading, and technology-driven problem-solving , the United States performed worse than nearly every other country… The US would have looked even worse if China had been included in this study. In basic literacy – the ability to understand and use basic written text – 80% of Americans reached only a level 2 out of 5. And in math and numerical proficiency, using numbers in daily life, they are worse … and 10% scored below level 1. Technological literacy and ability were worse too. In problem-solving in a technological environment and the use of “cognitive skills required to solve problems”, the Americans were at the bottom.” And that bottom is in math, vocabulary, language usage and technology, with Chinese students far surpassing the Americans even when using a language that is not their own
That’s an understatement. Most Americans couldn’t pour piss out of a boot if I put the instructions on the heel.
I interview candidates for industrial jobs, I pretty much don’t even bother with anyone under 40.
The expected results of a half century of government “education”
I finally figured out how to pour piss out of a boot: cut a hole in the toe. That way, when you stand there reading the instructions on the bottom, the urine pours out of the toe.
You should be appointed Professor of Pissbootology at Harvard or Yale.
Unlike students of political science degrees your graduates will have a practical skill of real-world use and likely be far more employable than the Wokologists graduating the Humanities faculties with honors degrees in Bugger All.
“Parochial?” Hey, watch there, pal. My sister went to Catholic girl’s school. Biggest bunch of sex-crazed, drug addicts, and hysterical schoolgirls I have ever seen. Ever.
In the food? High-fructose corn syrup. Or corn syrup in general, the food equivalent of plastics. Pick of any bottle of American bbq sauce and read the label: odds are the first ingredient is corn syrup instead of tomato puree (I have heard of strange vinegar-based sauces, but they frighten me).
Somewhat more seriously, we Americans are generally shallow and unspiritual, both of which increase the propensity for herd behavior. The elitists have encouraged this and are using it to lead us to destruction. I point out that academic achievement (or lack thereof) does not correlate with depth of character, nor does infatuation with crystals and angel figurines correlate with spirituality.
Russia, I am pleased to read, has embraced spirituality once more. I’m afraid Chinese, on the other hand, are rather like Americans in this regard. (And I say this because they have lived under communism, not because they are Chinese.)
“vinegar-based sauces”
The only correct BBQ sauce.
Steak sauce AL. And Japanese bachan BBQ sauce. Korean sauces also great at Iron Age.
Years ago I looked into mundane astrology, inspired by the guy who working out of a building in NY picked ‘quiet’ times for nasa launches for astronaut safety. There was definitely something to it, Newton Copernicus and Galileo all thought so too and made breakthroughs based on attempts to improve their understanding. It was of peripheral interest to me and when I came across Piers Corbyns work, [Jeremys brother] who was way ahead of me, I thought I’d just and wait for him to write books on it. Instead he monetised it by making remarkably accurate weather predictions for specific days for event organisers.
One of the curious things I did learn was that golden crowns originated as faraday cages to prevent rulers being carried away in the periodic mass psychosis that affects humanity, Jupiter and Saturn being principally involved in these, for reasons that remain opaque to me. Anyhow open the link, click on Jupiter and wind back to it’s recent conjunction with Saturn, then wind it back thrice to ’61 to see the similarities. https://atlas-digital.nl/live/solar/
Stupid question time:
Given that neocons and neoliberals in the USG control Ukrainian policy, and thereby Russian policy, and that some Republican leaders have said they would not continue writing blank checks for Ukraine if Red team gains control of Congress, what are the prospects for a false flag sometime between the election and when the next Congress convenes, to further inflame the situation such that de-escalation becomes politically difficult if not impossible for one or both sides?
Great Cross Talk discussion!
If you are all correct, then the remaining wounded US beast may lash out.
How can this risk be minimized?
Petraeus once referred to General Robert E Lee as a “traitor.” I respectfully submit that Petraeus isn’t fit to muck out Traveller’s stall. What a wretched man.
Thanks for all you do, Larry. You’re a brave and honorable man.
Petraeus is not alone. It seems that at least one Petraeus doppelganger pops up every time the topic of Ukraine comes up in conversation.
I’ve listened to otherwise intelligent, educated, professional people spouting contradictory, nonsensical rubbish about this war more times than I can bother keeping track of. An alarmingly high percentage of those actually fear that Russia will resort to nukes to save face, the campaign, or its army from annihilation by the Ukes. A narrative spun from a false flag nuke would find fields of fertile confirmation bias to sprout in.
Luckily, the fear of a Russian use of nukes seems largely restricted to educated Europeans, so the damage such delusions can do will ultimately be restricted to Europe which has already driven off the cliff anyway.
All of this, to my mind simply proves that humans live out narratives in everything but their most basic functions. The narrative’s ability to map onto physical facts, or even its internal logic doesn’t seem to matter at all. Intellectual and moral laziness trumps both.
Finland is saying they will accept “NATO” deployed nuclear weapons in their country should they enter NATO. Meanwhile the Czech Republic has had an explosion of protests against sanctions on Russia. (I suspect lots of people are going broke thanks to the EU and Biden’s wonderful strategic decision making.)

Mr. Scott Ritter, I apologize to you for suggesting you were anything but a gentleman. Please forgive me for my stupid baseless insult.
Sincerely,

“…and that’s what makes it so dangerous…”
Tell me about it. Most Americans are focused on things like fantasy football and the World Series with a media feeding us happy talk about Ukraine. Meanwhile Russia is gathering enough forces to not only finish off Kiev but to pose an actual threat like the one our media has been lying about since February. On the upside, Putin has never seemed interested in western Ukraine with a bunch of new NATO neighbors.
Just watched your Crosstalk with Ritter and Good. Excellent (as usual!). Ritter makes the point that the MidTerms will be a bloodletting. What goes ’round, comes ’round. On the other hand, neither party are really separate “parties” but factions of different poles of a ruling oligarchy. Great show. Ritter’s comments on the Midterms are germane.

As Larry says, the Russians are going to win – no matter who’s in power. The only question is whether, the US keeps sending money to the Ukraine. SOME people are getting rich. You and I arent’.
The time window for the nuclear false flag is rapidly closing. Once Russia launches its inevitable counteroffensive, even the people with the collective intelligence of a jar of dried mealworms who swallowed the Assad sarin/Russia blew up NS2 stories will begin to wonder why they would nuke their own line of advance.
I believe the false flag in fact will have to happen before the American Empire midterm on 8 November. After that it won’t matter that much anyway.
Why would the Russians nuke their own line of advance? Because that is what the Russians like to do!
Lmao … I keep asking the nitwits in the subreddits, “In what world does a military organization make repeated attempts to blow themselves up?” No one ever answers, they just downvote me into oblivion.
Agree completely on the “window””rapidly closing.” In so many ways, from the beginning, this SMO has been about getting the job done before the Americans can false flag their way into some kind of escalatory madness.
The Russians know this of course, and seem to be able get out in front these false flags before they take place, they did so with the bio-weapons in the beginning, and seemed to have postitioned themselves the best they can for this dirty bomb nonsense.
But damn if the American people aren’t so dumb as to believe the Russian’s are desperate now … because they are getting their asses kicked!
I follow Beau of the 5th Column on YouTube, because I consider him the most effective pitchman out there for the ever shifting gibberish of the Official Narrative, and to give one example, he has convinced his audience COMPLETELY, that the only reason the Kerch bridge was left standing, was so that the Ukraine Army could use it in their southern counter-offensive.
Beau as 1.5 million viewers across all platforms, and that viewership has been increasing at an alarming rate since the start of this SMO. Apparently Americans want to believe, with every fiber of their being, stories like; Ukraine has more tanks today than what they started with, because they’ve captured so many of the enemy’s.
Well, should Patraeus et al get their way, it wouldn’t be the first time the brave blokes of the 101st get trucked into the pointy end of a sh*t fight in the dead of winter, sans winter uniforms, ammo, armour, artillery and air-cover to stem the advance of a well-armed opponent.
The Goebbels brigade are in full voice, instilling fear, saying we’re being attacked, calling those who challenge the bullshit traitors, enthusiastically leading the sheeple to war.
This time round we don’t get to fight for Mom and apple pies, but trans rights, democracy?, our make-it-up-as-you-go rules based order and other “EU values”, whatever they are. So be it. Putin Man Bad, it’s all you need to know. Madness.

Such a shame, cause the US, UK, Europe have such a lot going for them.
Good grief, Petraeus rivals our giddy, cackling dain-bramaged VP in the use of double-speak word salad.
One note: so exactly which non-NATO countries, presummably non-BRICS or SCO favorable or anti-WEST, will be joyfully supplying the new US coaltion of the cannon fodder?
Unless he’s counting on an endless supply of foreign mercs and terrorists to do the job, if enough cash and weapons can be scrounged. However, it appears the paid help is starting to chafe under the bit of their Nationalist Battalion enforcers.
Or perhaps he’s fantasizing about Israel, but seems they are a bit busy in their own hood these days.
“Kind of a fantasy war game” – top!
I thought your pieces, especially the second one, Mr. Johnson, were great. I really liked Mr Ritter’s second one as well.
Our country, free speech giant – the birthplace of modern democracy – the United Kingdom, does not allow Bitchute to broadcast such videos in the country – Russian propaganda, you know. We impressionable useless eaters must be protected.
Thanks to a VPN, however, it was possible… 😉
Found posted in a thread a few months ago; still think it’s the best summary of the topic:

We need to balance our approach to understanding David Petraeus who is a Bilderberger. David Rothkopf was the CEO of Kissinger and Associates when he wrote Superclass in which he said the world is run by 30 Families and their 6,000 Minions. That is true for us for now. But I have been following Pepe Escobar for over a decade. He sees a different future.
He has written of Sergey Glazyev’s plan for BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) to invite the Global SOuth to join BRICS and refuse to repay any loans denominated in dollars, pounds, euros and yen. Glazyev is the Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics at the Eurasian Union. All bank deposits in dollars, pounds, euros and yen will decline to zero value, probably before the November 2024 presidential elections.

Interesting that Petraeus attended the 2022 Bilderberg meeting. So in addition to his other not so fine qualities, he is a globalist flunky as well.

I always look forward to Pepe’s work. The multipolar train is unstoppable. But according to Martin Armstrong, the dollar will be the last currency to fall. As Europe collapses, a lot of international capital will come here. The US has never cancelled its currency. Not so for many other countries. Personally I have learned more from Armstrong than anyone in terms of how things work both currently and historically. His blog is always my most important read of the day. Even if you don’t care about markets, you can learn a lot from his blog.

Tu es Petr(ae)us …
Le vrai Petrus ça se bonnifie avec le temps… celui là il a bouchonné jeune. Un beau gâchis.
Super RT Cross Talk. TY. It was packed, had to stop & retrace several times. Thoughts:
IMO, Shock & Awe is quick, does not require massive, industrial production of ammo; a grinding war whose goal is a nation’s army destruction does. Russia is set up for the latter, US / NATO is not. The US Military Industrial Complex is a high $ density industry, not a commodity industry. Russia grind will defeat a shock & awe NATO. Why? NATO has no air superiority, just the reverse, NATO air power is virtually shut down due to Russian superiority.
IMO, Next, EU after decades is ‘Green Strangled’ to death. Ukraine & sanctions was just the last nail. There is no recovery for EU after Ukraine without 180 reversal on Green Suicide. EU is walking dead. Only Russia kindness will save EU.
IMO, US is fine if tariffs are fair & internal regulations are sane (Green Suicide stopped). If Green Suicide is not reversed the US is almost as dead as the EU. The rest of the world is not stupid like the Green Nutters.
IMO, Putin’s latest conference speech, with Q&A follow up is long (+3 hr), but required to understand where the world is going & going fast. Trump, Desantis, K. Lake should listen to it, no Dem would understand it (maybe Gabby).
IMO, the free hand of the crazies in Washington, BC (Bandera Club) is being reeled in, barely in time though (the movie ‘Sum of All Fears’ comes to mind).
IMO, rump Ukraine will not be left as it would be a festering Color Revolution. It will either be kept or traded to Poland for peace.
IMO, China has its own troubles & needs.
IMO, bioweapons, not nukes is the real problem. Pandora’s box lid is lost. Good luck to animal life.
That was an excellent interview. Usually I don’t like when there is three people on, it seems to leave everyone too little time to get their points across, but this one it seemed all four parties were in perfect sinc.
Well done one and all.
Whatever General Betrayus got a taste of with Paula Broadhead it rotted his brain. The same can be said for the entire Military Industrial Complex and our fully dysfunctional, diseased, and plague infested government.
“I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.”
Dear Mr. Putin, all I want for Christmas are five (5) 25-megaton nukes dropped selectively on Washington, DC — starting with the US Capitol Building (formerly known as “The People’s House”), The White House, The CIA, The FBI (AKA the American “Gestapo”), and the Pentagon.
If you want to toss an extra one on Nancy Pelosi’s house, then all the better. Tired of all the drama coming out of there. Give her something real to stew over, besides how she is such a Catholic. I’m a Catholic and she’s not.
“Hoe. Hoe. Hoe.”
‘WTF we gonna do now? …Game over, man …’
My second favorite line from one of my favorite movies.
My favorite comes earlier, when the Marines are moving deeper into the dank, steamy bowels of the facility housing the alien queen and her spawn. The platoon sergeant remarks how hot it is, and Paxton’s character replies, ‘But it’s a dry heat.’
“Petraeus . . . claimed that Russia has little chance of reversing the trajectory of the conflict in Ukraine thanks to America’s financial assistance.”
Handing out money to losers is still handing out money to losers.

Better make that “sites.” We’ve allowed them to breed. “Them?” “We have met the enemy and they (sorry ladies but you too), are us.”
My Dad passed away at 90. I inherited his dress uniform from his days as an officer in the U.S. Army, before he took wife and two babies back to college and medical school.
I took his uniform into the cleaners and had a chance to compare it with a copy of today’s version.
Maybe it’s the 100-percent wool versus the polyester, artificial blends. My father’s uniform had a certain something — gravitas, humility, humbleness, authority completely lacking in today’s uniforms.
It’s like comparing highly polished leather shoes to the all-plastic kind we see on the feet of a U.S. Marine these days. Real versus Fake.
Regardless, General Betrayus doesn’t deserve to wear the uniform.
Sorry. This article really hits “home” for me.
Totally agree. Your comment resonates because it applies to the complete and absolute decline in the quality of everything, or perhaps more aptly, a decline in the desire to commit to the best that is possible. I think they used to call it ‘moral fibre’. What a shitshow.
To Larry Johnson. Love your work. Great job. My brain still hurts from the COVID piece “Is the COVID Vaccine Killing People?” Thank you.
An alternative explanation could be that he is very aware of contradicting himself, but doesn’t care, because he believes that the consumers of this piece are too dumb to notice and second, he is also aware of the fact that western journalists are expected to not ask obvious questions, if they want to keep their job.
Or their jobs, their bank accounts, their homes, their lives, their husbands or wives, their children, safety in their property, persons, or possessions, the works.
Petraeus seemed to be setting the stage for international intervention. His remarks that such an action could be justified if an event were deemed atrocious enough came just before Russia alerted the world to Ukrainian plans to deploy a dirty bomb and blame it on the Russians. Not hard to visualize the sequence of events if that had happened. “A dirty bomb…how dastardly of the Russians (wink, wink by MI6 and CIA). Guess we will have to go into Ukraine to save the world…” And it seems that this hamfisted former general was likely in on the plot…maybe, maybe not, but…
The American People are in a trap of their own making having voted for their own enslavement and ruin in exchange for money or favor, call it democracy.
In 10 days we’ll see if Americans realize that they’ll have to knaw off limbs to escape the trap – in 10 days they’ll see their vote doesn’t count at the midterms elections.
In 10 days we’ll see who amongst the Americans is to be knawed off and which Americans are the Teeth.
Ewww. The “knawed” and the “knawers.” Sounds like Civil War, or a Ernest Hemingway novel.
You can’t “call it democracy.” The shit that is going down now is all too painfully real. Democracy is a fiction. The West has some democratic privileges. All of them have been revoked. Every time you turnaround the United States is saving the world for something that does not exist, and doing shit it can’t confess to.
Anytime you hear the word democracy expect to get your pockets picked, screwed, or lied to, or all of the above.
I daw a comment on another site recently:
“Democracy is the KY jelly of oligarchy.”
We never seem to get what we tell our misleaders we want. Seems to me as this “democracy” is a dog that don’t hunt, at least for us. Works pretty well as kayfabe for the oligarchs, though. Vote harder, friends. Doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result? Okee dokee.
“I hear Langley keeps the largest stockpile of pornographic film in the world, featuring young European political hopefuls”.
Probably true with let me add a detail : it’s most certainly CHILD porn. A sort of “kompromat” CIA-style with girls of 12 13 or 14 years of age. You’re a UE big wig, you’re invited to a formal reception, then to a private party, and the next morning you wake up in bed with a female “companion”. Then they show you pics and you know you’re caught.
Ask yourself why the Marc Dutroux case was so quickly closed and Dutroux labelled a “lone”predator. Dutroux was a provider of young flesh to the Belgian “elite” and I’m sure the D.C. Swamp plugged into the network to serve its own agenda.
Remember this :

Do you think Barroso was “gung-ho” about supporting the 2nd invasion of Iraq?
Probably not but he had no choice.
To state the obvious, It seems Petraeus coming out with his stupidity now must be part of some neo con agenda. Time will certainly tell but Petraeus is fraud, fraud, fraud.
Petraeus should go back to shagging adulatory sycophants’ under some office desk as some of his e-mails reflected was his preference.
I found this scathing article from Douglas Macgregor to be on point.
http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2022/october/25/playing-at-war-in-ukraine/
Oh where to begin…Dave was my Division Commander (Major General) in Mosul, Iraq 2003. Certain non-Department of Defense entities operating in Mosul at the time gave him the nickname General “BetrayUs” for reasons known only to them I am sure.
Dave was THE masterminds behind the troop surge in Afghanistan too and we all know how that Charlie Foxtrot turned out–I am sure that wasn’t his fault he was just the military brains behind it and convinced Obama (another Harvard whiz kid) that the US could win the counter insurgency in Afghanistan.
I have zero respect for Dave or the majority of current US Military strategists and thinkers.
Dave was wrong in Iraq as a Division Commander, He was wrong About Afghanistan as the Theater Commander, He was wrong as the Director of the CIA and he is wrong as a commentator…in fact I can’t think of an instance when he has been right.
Go away Dave you had your chance and blew it.
Since it looks like directly -relevant comments have petered out, I’ll risk being stood up against the wall and shot by posting a long-un:
Strategic Controls . . .
vs. . . . crazed irrational proliferation of nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
Which do you prefer?
(Well, Tuff. The Neocons, State Department, White House, Defense Department, the whole of the K-Ring of D.C., all of the Congressional Aides, and most of the specimens of poisonous Congress creatures want proliferation, so proliferation is what you’ll get, and you’ll learn to love it!)
One of the Brothers asked me if I thought that nuclear war might be likely.
Not one to be shy about my opinion, and it is only fair to say, knowing a lot about the subject, every time I thought to start composing a coherent, thoughtful answer . . . something was added to what I know to render my prior (actually wiffle-waffling back-and-forth) conclusions so much twaddle.
Here is the best stab that I can make at this, although doing so while confident that it all goes into a cocked hat more likely sooner than later.
And no excuse, but in mitigation of my muddle, “nuclear war” really entails several separate but related questions:
Will Russia make a nuclear first-strike using a conventional nuclear explosion?
No. Nuclear represents a fourth- or fifth-level contingent response, and has been explicitly ruled out for first-use.
Will the United States or a proxy make a nuclear first-strike using a conventional nuclear explosion?
Apparently not now, because the Pentagon (though not the Neocons, State Department or whoever is pulling White House marionette strings) understands doing so would be national obliteration. Intermediate future? Uncertain and growing moreso, especially with our reservation in favor of first-use and proliferation of nuclear weapons to the NATO fanclub.
Will Russia detonate a dirty radioactive explosion somewhere?
No way. It fully intends and expects to own great swaths of the territory it is candidly conquering my military means of attritting the Ukrainian Army’s willingness and ability to continue fighting. It is succeeding. It has no need to resort to non-conventional means of any kind. It has every incentive to prevent the spread of dangerous waste nuclear radionuclides, whether by a dirty bomb, or by bombardment of nuclear power station spent fuel storage facilities by Ukrainain rocket and tube artillery. Russia does not want to have to clean up some new Chernobyl.
Will the U.S. or one or more of its Ukraine-NATO proxies detonate a dirty radioactive explosion somewhere?
As Mr. Ritter describes in his intro to the following interview, apparently not now, because Minister of Defense Shoigu undoubtedly has specific and detailed evidence of Ukrainian machinations along those lines, and confronted at least four NATO defense ministers with that evidence in his phonecalls to them. It is nearly certain that this caused them to think better and to waive the Ukrainian bomb wizards off of this if they are to avoid some kind of staggering retribution.
I
Scott Ritter-Col. Franz Klincevich, Russian Federation Army (ret.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4kBbOzG1h8&ab_channel=ScottRitter
Here Ritter provides a signal service with, first, his conclusions that
there shall not be any invasion of Ukrainian territory by the 101st Airborne Division’s Second Brigade out of Romania,
there shall not be a dirty bomb explosion as pretext for retaliation, and
there shall not be nuclear war, at least for now.
Alas, as superb as it is for Ritter to arrange his highly impressive list of influential and authoritative Russian guests, it is tedious and challenging to sit through the translation into English. Yet there is much of value, not least from this guest, who has served in several capacities at the highest level of the Russian Federation’s security organs. His military bona fides also bear on his comments.
Klincevich raises a vital point: Russia’s nuclear use policy is public and available in English. Unfortunately, it is the United States that has not officially and formally disavowed and repudiated first-use of nuclear weapons.
He further raises the embarrassing affinity which the West continues to show for unmistakable Nazis.
It would be great if Ritter would adjust the audio such that his Russian-speaking interviewees’ voices almost muted. It would also be great if all interviewees on all of this kind of serious-minded geopolitical discussions would . . . put their pet dogs out in the garage and close the door so their barking would not disrupt . . . Surprisingly commonplace silliness.
N O T E:
Although a Marine (with final rank of Major), Ritter’s claim to fame is from his role as International WMD Inspector. This is some kind of irony, in that, from the beginning, the whole idea behind limiting all kinds of Weapons of Mass Destruction has been to keep them out of the hands of the incapable, untrained, unstable, and evil. This, until recently has been true for nuclear as well as for chemical and biological weapons.
With the greatly reduced international tensions following the Strategic Arms Limitations Talks (SALT) and Treaties, the virtually self-evident principle of MAD–Mutually-Assured Destruction put the damper on proliferation, and at least in state-owned nuclear weapons programs, strutting threats about their prospects for use. (I studied the SALT I Treaty immediately upon its promulgation under the late, great Dr. Al Carnesale, Ph.D. (Nuclear Engineering) who had been among America’s expert technical staff on our negotiating team.)
But so much for the then-Soviet Union. Numerous other global conflagration trigger-spots had already sprung up, with Israel, Pakistan, India, and North Korea aggressively pursuing the technology and making remarkable strides (not least because of considerable surreptitious cooperation).
It is seldom if ever in the news, but the absolute “code-red” flash point has until just now been Kashmir, and the fusty, strutting stand-off between Pakistan and India. Why this is so perilous is that Pakistan concentrated on developing tactical range nuclear weapons, evidently thinking only of Kashmir and Indian lands close to the border. Whatever that case, India, on the other hand, developed sure-enough Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, perhaps thinking both of Pakistan and China, the latter being a source of friction, yow-yowing, sovereignty and border disputes, and regular armed clashes resulting in real dead casualties. On the conventional scale, such saber-rattling is nonsense, as India is in a similar mess with the Ukraine and NATO: Enough bullets to shoot Chinese for one or two weeks. Recent India-China trade agreements are perhaps a harbinger of borderland frictions getting patched up and lubricated, with both sides confessing that some hundreds of meters of barren stony “rocky mountain high” territory with too little air to breathe is not worth nuclear war.
With Pakistan, on the other hand, things do not look nearly as likely to resolve any time soon. And the Pakistanis, going back to centuries ago in the Raj and British East India Company (well before Jenna invented “PAKISTAN” [what does this acronym stand for?] out of disparate tribes, sects, and ethnicities some of whom hated everybody else’s guts) have been known for hasty, precipitate, and ill-considered fisticuffs, and the other side being overwhelmingly better-armed was seldom a deterrent.
So what happens if Pakistan swats Indian (or Indian-claimed Kashmiri) territory with a tactical nuclear weapon? India can only either a.) respond exclusively with conventional weapons, or b.) obliterate Lahore with a strategic ICBM. So it would depend on what the upper stratum of India’s government and military had been smoking recently, as to how India might respond . . . and I dread to ponder.
Of course, the BoogerMan du jour is Iran, and its alleged weapons program, busily centrifuging ever-more concentrated enrichments of urainium oxide toward the approximately 96% required for a sure-enough fission bomb. I say “alleged,” because there have been international accounts of a quietus in the program now extending to years. And then there has been a plenitude of slags belching out against those international observers as being lying poltroons. At the very minimum, it would be gratifying if all parties could agree on an honest truth-teller who actually knows what he is looking at to be granted all-access by the Iranians and free rein to report all that he sees.
North Korea’s “Rocket Boy? So far risible, but a real threat as a fountainhead of nuclear know-how for more and more parties qualified only by their pathological characters and hot-headed strategery.
II
BUT, “Finland” . . .
Right. For decades, the Fins had a useful, productive, and peaceable modus vivendi with Moscow going back into the bad old Soviet days and into the recent past. Then, they must have eaten bread with too much ergot-tainted wheat flour, because they clearly went clean off their nut.
Fast-forward to Washington, D.C., ergot-munching capital of the mighty petrodollar Western Unipolar Hegemons:
By way of totally tarring and feathering all strategic arms limitation principles since the SALT Treaties, the Pentagon espouses the right of nuclear first-strike. (No longer “ruling it out” means we like the idea of using it first.):
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/stunning-strategy-reversal-pentagon-will-no-longer-rule-out-use-nuclear-weapons-against-non
“The Pentagon’s new National Defense Strategy rejects limits on using nuclear weapons long championed by arms control advocates (and, in the not too distant past, by Joe Biden) citing burgeoning threats from Russia and China.” Which of course, has naught to do with defending the Lower-48 States, Alaska, and Hawai’i. Rather, it assures that, since our nimbus Pentagon has no defense against incoming hypersonic Russian and Chinese ICBMs–while Russia does have credible, effective defenses against ours–our missiles will (mostly) get splashed, while Russia’s and China’s will find their targets unmolested. Then come back for seconds, thirds, and fourth servings of vitrified former metropolitan hubs and defense sites. Such are the machinations of the mad.
Could the U.S. get Russia and China to agree not to break bad? Well, possibly (I believe, likely), but only if the U.S. asks, not demands. And of course, this would only lead to an agreement should mutual verification be part of the scheme.
But wait, GINZU! There’s MOAR! Didn’t the treaty that our sheer Einsteinian El Presidente Bush II unilaterally abrogated encorporate mutual verification? What, after all, was Scott Ritter doing in Rooskie Land? Inspecting the borscht?
III
Non-Proliferation? Ye jest, Varlet!
What would one do were one dedicated to non-proliferation? Could it be that one would strive to keep nuclear materials and technology and specifications strictly controlled, even under wraps?
What would it mean should one hand the dang thangs out like Halloween candy? Pro-Prolferation? If not, how so? And in the event, the mighty–almighty–Petrodollar Hegemon has indeed begun to spread the wunderwaffen joy far and wide:
https://www.zerohedge.com/military/us-accelerates-upgraded-nuke-delivery-jittery-european-allies-cable
Just by way of a rude and indelicate reminder, the U.S. Military and its NATO batman have grifted gifted all manner of nifty conventional weapons “systems” to the hapless Ukrainian Army, none of which was any Ukrainian soldier fully or even partially qualified to operate because of little or zilch for training. And in the case of the vaunted M777 howitzer and HIMARS, no Ukrainian personnel have access to the U.S. Military’s “Unsleeping Eye In The Sky” surveillance satellites whose access is required to establish the geo-coordinates from which accurate firing solutions may be computed. Moreover, the fragile M777s are very easily busted, requiring an 800 km++ trek back west and into Poland for repair in a depot that is safe from visits by Mr. Kinzhal.
OK . . . so now, if the Ukrainian Army–as of January, 2022 the biggest and best trained in Europe–is not qualified to make best use of these nominally conventional weapons, what should persuade an 8th Grader that non-nuclear armies hither and thither can qualify to quickly get up to speed on systems that are ORDERS of MAGNITUDE more complex and critical than HIMARS and M777? Yogi and BooBoo anyone? Clearly the Alfred E. Newman, “What? Me worry?” school of military excellence and global peace.
N O T E: The last cute American weapons system to be hung onto a non-U.S. (post-Soviet) airframe was an air-to-ground anti radar HARM. This required months of fiddling and reverse engineering, and then at least one of the airframes so equipped found that its wunderwaffen missile missed, and the fighter jet also became hors de combat, and in a matter of minutes. Wonder if a U.S. nuclear “gravity bomb” can actually just be velcroed to any ole fighter jet, and if any ole fighter pilot can know for sure how to let it aloose so it blows up the right place (and not himself). Mysteries of the mind.
IV
FINLAND!
Oh, yes, the ergot-flour bread eaters (until Russia cut of all the natural gas to their bread bakeries). Repudiating decades of productive peace only to forego a cold-ish winter without Russian gas (or domestically baked bread), only to join the NATO-equivalent of the Clan of The Cave Bear just in time to see the most of Europe revert to squalid Medieval serfdom, wood heat, and bartering for eggs and motor fuel.
Highly intelligent.
Nice young party-animal lady at the nation’s helm, and she really is pretty, albeit hardly possessed with Three Little Gray cells to rub together; as also her Minister of Defense.
https://news.antiwar.com/2022/10/26/finland-willing-to-host-nato-nuclear-weapons-on-border-with-russia/
So, in light of all of these cracking-jolly advantages, the doughty Fins think it wise, or valorous, or smart to appease some un-seen puller of marionette strings to amp up their target priority on Russia’s list of the pestilential by taking on nuclear weapons targets, you know, just to make sure that when their smallish country gets writ “finis” it will be too quick to be painful. It could be worse, of course, had the Fins appointed a certain Girl-Band of recent notorious and prison-time infame inside Russia as its Ambassadorial Minstrels Plenipotentiaries. Why wait? Why not just go ahead and get a good hot little war started right now?
Oh, and as with the Pentagon’s grand Ukase, that Finland makes neither cavil nor precondition for NATO membership, this means that hosting NATO’s nukes will be just jim-dandy, peachy-keen. This would seem to reverberate the modern West’s marriage vows that include, “for better,” while omitting “or for worse,” and thus, Zha Zha Gabor wound up with five houses. Wonder who gets to keep Finland’s house?
And Alas, Poor Fins, I knew them once, fellows of infinite jest, who shut down the main north-south highway so their jets could practice public road take-offs and landings, meanwhile refueling “hot” with the engines running. Sorry, Charley, but “Starkist” has S400s that can see those jets over the horizon and splash them before they get the gear retracted. No nukes required (unless the one he was carrying accidentally arms and goes Ker-Flooie).
Alas, we Stateside Hobbits had hoped that the Nordic Hobbiten would stay content and toasty this winter without being turned into toast.
There is a term of art in the law: They knew or should have known.

Traitor Petraeus
Meanwhile, His Nibs the Generalissimo Typifies Nuclear Cheerleaders
Here Larry Johnson, SONAR21, dismantles the man and his sick schtick:
https://sonar21.com/did-general-david-petraeus-let-the-ukrainian-cat-out-of-the-bag/#comment-94231
The first video clip is Hollywood, so needlessly vulgar and coarse. But be SURE to view the second roundtable video. At only 24:26, it can be sped up 1.5x, and host Lavelle has actually become a respectful and competent moderator (compared to his early days as an interrupting blabbermouth). This is a classic, and if you are not well-informed, it will do a lot toward bringing you current on not only what is happening, but why.
VI
Time To Act
Please consider challenging yourself in this way: Make a tic-list of the writers or speakers who are murmuring, alluding, recommending, warning, or in any way discussing first-strike nuclear attacks–as either a Westerner, or a Russian. You will be dismayed, because the topic is virtually off the table from Russia’s side, but something that simply must be talked-up throughout the West.
Scripture says a couple of things that bear upon our poor globe’s current rending by condign forces of unimaginably great power:
You reap what you sow. And also,
As a man thinketh, so is he.
The social psychologist says this,
You move in the direction of your dominant thought.
So let’s “reverse engineer” the recent acts of NATO and its Goombah, the United States: Having striven to sprinkle nuclear weapons with staggering power hither and thither among incapable and untrustworthy national governments, what was the West’s plan, intention, and dominant thought?
What is being sown?
Peace?
De-escalation?
Negotiation?
Or nuclear war?
Among whatever possible solutions there might be to our predicament, I propose removing those favoring nuclear war–as evidenced by their sly but transparent excusing, scenario-casting, supposing, and chattering–and especially by such actions as actually dispersing nuclear arms–not only from elective and appointive office, but from the public square by means of boycotting their worthless media outlets, and putting those outlets and their advertisers on notice that they are being and shall continue to be boycotted. Such evil actors as Senator Lindsay Graham must finally be acknowledged as the greater of available evils, for those who console themselves for repeatedly voting for the lessers-of. (And inevitably, repeated often enough, that behavior results in electing an unmitigated evil.) Recently, PayPal’s insanely rash promise to mulct its members $2,500 for wrong-think was much less egregious than what the nuclear AgitProp spewers are spewing, and at least PayPal lost many thousands of accounts. (Mine, for instance.)
This is worth prayerful reflection and deeper consideration than the surface gloss our media and politicians have provided. It is also high time for a “Great Barrington Declaration” by Christians and other concerned citizens.
https://gbdeclaration.org/
Doubtless, signatories to any such declaration for peace and explicitly and unequivocally against nuclear first-strike (including under the phony excuse created by a false flag) shall garner the same slagging, doxing, media shadowbanning and outright denial as those who–correctly–spoke against the governments’ egregious pandemic mismanagement. It will be worth enduring such.
“…limiting all kinds of Weapons of Mass Destruction has been to keep them out of the hands of the incapable, untrained, unstable, and evil.”
Reordering your well chosen adjectives thus, untrained, incapable, evil and unstable, perfectly describes the bums parked on the big seat behind the desk in the Oval Office since 1992.
As for “first use of nuclear weapons against non-nuclear armed opponents”, hasn’t this been US policy , twice implemented, since 1945?
Ten attaboys for an interesting read.
Well said Larry. Very Cogent RT interview.
A big loser who failed all her missions could only end up as a puppet of the Washington oligarchy! It’s just a shame to hear him puke shit.
But to be fair, Ukraine’s dream team is all stars. Starting with Victoria Nuland herself, Brandons and now Blinken and Lord Raytheon, MCfaul, Pyatt, McCain, Graham “we supply the weapons and they supply the men”, etc, etc, etc.
I suddenly remembered that only the london satellite dream team is better. BoJo, Liz, Sanders, Wallace… That was also now running to order two vessels to defend the english submarine infrastructure. How could the West not be decadent? And if we add Macron and Sholz… Surely in any decrepit village of each of these countries we would find men and women with much more value! Who at least have proven they can manage one house!
FOUR STARS for superior Ass-Kissing.
