
Fighting lies is a tiring business, but it must be done. My recent public debate with Andrij Dobriansky is a real oddity because there have been few opportunities like this during the past 18 months where critics of NATO’s policy towards Russia could challenge the lies of the Ukrainian and Western propagandists. I only scratched the surface with Mr. Dobriansky’s mendacity. The propaganda lies churned out by U.S. and British intelligence, which are plentiful and audacious, cover the gamut — e.g., Putin has a terminal illness; Putin is weak and hanging by a thread; Ukraine is advancing steadily in its counter offensive; Russia is isolated; Russia’s economy is collapsing; Russian conscripts are being dragooned against their will to join the army; Russian prisoners are being coerced to join paramilitary forces and fight on the front lines; the morale of the Russian Army is collapsing; Russia’s Generals are incompetent; Russia is suffering more casualties than Ukraine; and Russia is a colonial imperialist.
I want to touch on the ridiculous claim by Dobriansky that Russia is guilty of colonialism in Africa. For those of you who watched the video of my exchange with this gentleman you saw that he declined my challenge to name just one country in Africa that was colonized by Russia, controlled and exploited for years. He could not respond because Russia is not guilty of this defamatory accusation.
Here is a break out of the Empires and colonies in 1920 following WWI:

You will note that Russia stayed home. It was not romping across the globe snatching up territories and planting its flag.
The reality for Africa is the one region in the world that has suffered the most from the colonial exploitation by European nations for more than 200 years. France and Britain were the two big players, controlling almost two-thirds of Africa. But other European states also staked claims over the people and territory of countries across the African continent — Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Spain.
It is true that many African nations actively participated in enslaving and selling other Africans to the Europeans and Americans. And it is true that Britain tried to put a stop to the international slave selling business with passage of the Slave Act in 1807. But that one act of decency does not erase the injustice and pillaging of the African colonies by the Brits during the 19th and early 20th Century. The same holds true for the other European colonizers who used the African nations as their personal piggy banks.

Thanks to World War I (sarcasm alert) America got over that and began to see the benefits of controlling and exploiting weaker nations. Since the end of World War II the most active imperial power in the world has been the United States. Just ask Panama, Cuba, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, the former Yugoslavia, Libya and Yemen. Try to convince the folks from those nations that the American people once held firm to the belief of isolationism.
If you watch Judge Napolitano’s interviews with former CIA officer Jack Devine or free-lance mercenary Matt Van Dyke (it takes a strong stomach to listen to the tsunami of lies that spill from their lips), you hear them repeat the mantra that Russia is suffering huge casualties. This lie is easy to debunk. Just compare the social media posts from Ukraine with those from Russia that show graveyards and military funeral ceremonies. The thousands of graveyards with fresh mounds of dirt are ubiquitous on Ukrainian channels. Not so on the Russian side.
Yes, I know that the apologists for Ukraine will not be convinced and are likely to claim that Russia, as an authoritarian state, will not allow such posts. Nonsense. Just tune in to the latest podcasts from Alex Christoforou and AniaK. Both are in Moscow on separate business (they are not working together) and are posting daily videos as they each stroll around Moscow doing their political commentary and analysis. Where are those dastardly FSB officers tackling them and stomping on their cell phones? Just one more piece of circumstantial evidence that the Western propaganda describing Russia as a dictatorship and its citizens chafing under authoritarian diktats is a myth.
I will leave you with this rule of thumb for those who monitor Western media — whatever you read in establishment media always assume that there is a purpose — usually nefarious — behind the information you are being allowed to read. Here is a very recent example — Joe Biden, after years of silence, finally acknowledged the bastard grand daughter from Hunter’s one night stand with a stripper. Why now? Is there concern among Biden’s campaign staff that his prior refusal to embrace that little girl paints him as the angry, spiteful little man that he is? That is small potatoes compared to the manipulation of the Ukraine/Russia narrative. Remain alert. Question everything.

The work of the Congress has just begun. So far, issues of the defense budget or the financing of the State Department are not on the agenda.
There is a different approach to working with government agencies. As far as I know, some activists would like to have a revolution everyday, and they always call on people to take to the streets. But for those who represent their community day by day, it is sometimes better to have friends rather than significant changes in the composition of elected politicians.
Of course, we will appeal as much as possible to our old friends – Democrats or Republicans – for support, when the time comes, when the budget is adopted and we will see if money has disappeared there. Or certain words in support of Ukraine. Every bill passes many stages. From subcommittees to committees, then to the House of Representatives, and then to the Senate. This actually improved things with local security forces, previously mentored by French, now less likely to run away when Islamists attempt some raid.
Unsurprisingly, USA and French are somewhat annoyed and so now there are stories of Wagner committing atrocities or working with odd rebel groups against legal governments, such as with recent fighting in Sudan. It sounds much like the misinformation that was pushed against Cubans that were helping Angola a few decades back.

I haven’t read that book, but one does not need to, in order to see that he was trying to create United States of Europe. He declared himself exceptional, and tried to exterminate savages, and take their land. All of his “stuff” was taken from someone. He did not succeed because these “savages” were not armed with spears, but tanks. If he did, than history books of his USE would be similar to those of USA.

The Americans annihilated far more natives of the lands they coveted than even the Spaniards, for example in Mexico. The Spaniards coveted gold, the Americans coveted land, as did the Russians. So, this convenient finger-pointing and weaponization of ‘colonialism’ is pure sophistry.

The Western most lands would be ceded to China with the rest of the regions ceded to the original native American residents (they have Chinese/Asiatic ancestry BTW). Norway became an independent country in 1905. Norway lost its sovereignty in 1536/37. There were Norwegian sailors taking part in the slave trade. But listing Norway among these other European states is simply wrong. If there were any capital accumulated in Norway through the slave trade it was minuscule. Neither as a Danish colony nor in the “union” with Sweden did Norway even have consulates of her own. The “Consulate case” is the name given to the dispute over the introduction of a separate Norwegian consulate under the union with Sweden. Larry, I don’t know about other african colonialism, but you’re wrong about the nature of the french and belgian ones : it was not in practice about bringing riches, but about bringing “civilization” to these lands, i.e. building a lot of infrastructure at the taxpayer’s expense : schools, hospitals, roads, railroads, ports, airports, while their own countryside lacked those.
The end of colonization was a great news for the public budget. Kurganmashzavod specialists examined six types of Western vehicles obtained as trophies during a special operation. Recall that before the start of the JMD and during its first phase, NATO countries, the EU and their allies mainly supplied Ukraine with ATGMs and MANPADS, artillery mounts and multiple rocket launchers. He hunted enemy drones and raised his drones, checked the telephone cable, listened to poems written by a sniper, and listened to the sky, coming out of the ground. But, first, these positions had to be taken…
“ENTRY – RUBLE”

Since we became nominally independent, Europe and America have adapted and developed many tools of neo-colonial domination of not only Africa but virtually all of us in the Global South. We are exploited via debt peonage and other forms of financial outflows perfected by western multi-national corporations. It was only in the 60s and 70s that we could spend on the Soviet Union as a counterweight to the Western economic dominance. It is this anti-colonial alliance between Africa and Russia which is being revived and which the West fears and doing its best to confuse even us former colonial subjects.

I always smile when the “educated West” claims that Eastern people are dirty and impure. It turns out that the Russians have saunas, and they use them regularly, as you hear, and they can’t bear to bathe in the water cut from the frozen lake, even in freezing cold. To counter this, I would like to mention a small story taken from my own life: my daughter’s class at her school contacted the class of a similar French school, and as part of a so-called exchange student agreement, my daughter went to France for a week where a family hosted her, and a few weeks later we we hosted her. The French girl spent more than 24 hours traveling on a bus by the time she came to us in the evening, my wife naturally waited for her with a prepared bed in the guestroom and prepared the bathroom for her so that she could bathe after the long journey. The surprise was that the French girl quite firmly rejected the suggestion to take a bath, much to our astonishment, and then, seeing that we weren’t expanding, she declared that she wasn’t going to take a bath now, since “she has already taken a bath once this week”!
Maybe twenty years ago I was travelling overland between Kiev and Donetsk and we stopped at someone’s roadside home along the way for some reason or other. His toilet was an outhouse but he did have an impressive mammoth tusk to show us.

Satellite interference can happen in two places: (1) in space, by targeting the satellites directly, and (2) on the ground, where weapons can target receivers, according to the Secure World Foundation. Russia has been working on both. They use the Tobol to go after Satellites.
The interference that happens in space, what’s known as uplink jamming, blends a signal with the original broadcast, which distorts the information all users of that satellite receive. Tobol almost certainly works in this way, according to Bart Hendrickx, a researcher .
