As someone who worked first hand on the CIA’s Afghanistan propaganda campaign in 1985-86, I feel somewhat qualified to comment on the scale and scope of the current propaganda campaign intended to whip up support in the West for Ukraine and galvanize international outrage against Russia–it is titanic and it is out of control.
Where to start? How about the Kerch Bridge fiasco? Initially, the blast on the west bound span of the bridge was celebrated wildly as a massive triumph for Ukraine and a bitter defeat for Russia. The Associated Press account is representative of the media reactions:
An explosion Saturday caused the partial collapse of a bridge linking the Crimean Peninsula with Russia, damaging an important supply artery for the Kremlin’s faltering war effort in southern Ukraine and hitting a towering symbol of Russian power in the region.
Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the blast, which killed three people. The speaker of the Russian-backed regional parliament in Crimea accused Ukraine, but Moscow didn’t apportion blame. Ukrainian officials have repeatedly threatened to strike the bridge, and some lauded the destruction on Saturday. But Kyiv stopped short of claiming responsibility.
https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-explosions-fires-kharkiv-a5d6dd74e0fc8301cdd87601f5e2db1f
Any lingering doubt that this bridge bombing was the handiwork of the Ukrainians was erased when Kiev released the mock up of a stamp that will be issued in November celebrating the victory over the Russians:

There is no government in the world that can come up with artwork and get bureaucratic approval to commemorate a terrorist attack in the short amount of time that Ukraine allegedly worked on this. This was a flamboyant gesture of questionable intelligence–sort of like spiking a football and hitting yourself in the stones:
So today, Ukraine is trying to down play its responsibility for the failed mission to take out the Kerch Bridge (yes, failed, because traffic is till flowing over the bridge) and some of Kiev’s more mentally challenged supporters insisted that this was a Russian FSB op. I received an email from one of these clowns, a Mr. Lane, who wrote:
I am 💯% Reagan “we win they lose” and losing they are. Bigly. The Ukraines had nothing to do with the bridge by the way, that was total FSB work.
Got it? Those Russians are so damn clever and so powerful that they tricked the Ukrainians into making a stamp with the image of two explosions on the Kerch Bridge. Russia can do anything, it seems, when the West wants to paint Moscow as a 21st Century Goliath.
I do believe that Russian intelligence had some inkling of this plot and the people involved before the blast took place. Why? Because of how quickly the FSB began rounding up alleged conspirators.
But the Kerch Bridge fiasco appears to be a tiny white lie compared to the monstrous prevarication the Biden Administration unleashed today with its publication of its 2022 National Security Strategy. Check out this whopper (see page 25):
Over the past decade, the Russian government has chosen to pursue an imperialist foreign policy with the goal of overturning key elements of the international order. This culminated in a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in an attempt to topple its government and bring it under Russian control. But, this attack did not come out of the blue; it was preceded by Russia’s 2014 invasion of Ukraine, its military intervention in Syria, its longstanding efforts to destabilize its neighbors using intelligence and cyber capabilities, and its blatant attempts to undermine internal democratic processes in countries across Europe, Central Asia, and around the world. Russia has also interfered brazenly in U.S. politics and worked to sow divisions among the American people. And Russia’s destabilizing actions are not limited to the international arena. Domestically, the Russian government under President Putin violates its citizens’ human rights, suppresses its opposition, and shutters independent media. Russia now has a stagnant political system that is unresponsive to the needs of its people.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Biden-Harris-Administrations-National-Security-Strategy-10.2022.pdf
A lot of lies packed into this paragraph. For starters, it looks like the Biden team is engaged in psychological projection when it declares the Russia is pursuing “an imperialist foreign policy” intent on “overturning key elements of the international order.” What? Russia did not “invade” the Donbas in 2014. Ukraine did that. Russia did not unilaterally intervene in Syria, it was asked to provide military aid. It is the United States that violated the supposedly sacrosanct international order by helping engineer the coup that ousted the democratically elected President of Ukraine in 2014, overthrew the regime of Muammar Qaddafi and supplied weapons and training to radical Islamists in Syria that tried to oust Syrian President Assad. Pot calling Kettle Black anyone?
The Biden folks clearly do not understand the concept of irony. On the very day that the Biden Administration releases its National Security Strategy and accuses Russia of “brazenly” interfering in U.S. politics, U.S. prosecutor John Durham was grilling FBI Agents in Federal Court and getting them to admit that the Steele Dossier, which was one of the predicates for investigating Donald Trump for collaborating with Russia to steal the 2016 election, was a lie. FBI Agent Auten conceded under questioning that there was zero corroboration for the outlandish claims in the Steele Dossier:
Q: And between September 19th of 2016 and October 21st, when the FBI submitted the FISA application, were you able to confirm or corroborate in any of the FBI system the very serious allegations that were contained in the dossier reports?
A: No.
The FBI also made inquiries with other members of the intelligence community to find corroborative information. They came up empty.
Q: And what can you tell the jurors about whether or not any of the intelligence agencies that the FBI contacted for corroborative information produced any corroborative information?
A: We did receive information back from a number of different agencies.
Q: Then, as to the information that you received back from the agencies, did they corroborate the specificity of specific allegations that were contained in the dossier reports?
A: Not corroborating the specific allegations, no.
Simply put, the unfounded claim that Trump was colluding with Russia was a total sham. A lie. A gargantuan lie. But this fact did not stop the Biden folks from trying to keep that turd afloat in the punch bowl.
The penultimate sentence in the opening paragraph on Russia is further evidence of the Biden Adminstration’s complete lack of self awareness:
Domestically, the Russian government under President Putin violates its citizens’ human rights, suppresses its opposition, and shutters independent media.
This outlandish statement from the Administration that has locked up hundreds of protestors for trespassing, that is using the FBI to arrest and harass political opponents and who routinely pressures social media to quash anyone daring to challenge failed administration policies. Alex Berenson is but one glaring example of this abuse. His attempt to report on the failings of the Covid vaccines was quashed by Twitter with the full encouragement of the U.S. Government. Yet, Biden wants the American public to buy into the lie that the biggest threat to their freedom comes from Russia when it is his own government and policies that are stripping away Constitutionally protected rights.
The flood of propaganda and disinformation about Russia and what is going on in Ukraine is not likely to abate in the near term. In fact, Biden and his team appear to be doubling down on spreading outlandish falsehoods. Here is Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s latest ravings:
US secretary of defence Lloyd Austin on Wednesday hailed Ukraine’s “extraordinary gains on the battlefield”, which he attributed in part to “vital” support from Nato allies, including billions of dollars in military aid, along with humanitarian and financial assistance.
“Despite Putin’s new assaults, Ukrainian forces have changed the dynamics of this war,” Mr Austin said at a two-day meeting of Nato defence ministers at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels.
“They’ve liberated hundreds of towns from Russian occupation. They’ve retaken thousands of square kilometres of their land,” said Mr Austin, who headed a US-led Ukraine defence contact group meeting.
https://www.thenationalnews.com/world/europe/2022/10/12/lloyd-austin-hails-nato-supported-military-gains-in-ukraine/
Does Austin consider Ukraine’s failure to stop Russia’s missile bombardment of the last two days an “extraordinary gain” by the Ukrainians? As long as this kind of delusion infests Western leaders, the slaughter of Ukrainians will continue. If you encounter someone who insists that lies like these cause no lasting harm, you should arrange a trip for that person to the graveyards filling up throughout Ukraine.
Western Ukrainians traded to internationalist oligarchs their services as conquerors and occupation troops directed against Russophilic Russophonic eastern and southern Ukrainians and Russians in exchange for the illusion of sovereignty, so desperate were they for it. The deal they cut looks less wise with each passing week.
They really could use some real sovereignty right now, before an end to this war is imposed upon them that leaves them a landlocked rumpstate with bitter angry masters and no resources but the flesh of their own people. The sex ‘industry’ will be the only one that will be easily restarted. It’s a lesson for all of us who are discovering that we are subjects of empires and want to regain our national sovereignty: never settle for the illusion but keep your eye on the real thing.
I would second that motion
It is sad to see a nation with a people of immense technological, artistic and creative capacity being commanded by a class of mediocre people with a very, very bad soul. If it were possible to place them lying down, even for a few seconds, next to parts of a body shattered by an explosion on the battlefield.
Your description applies to an awful lot of countries nowadays. Basically the same scumbags in charge of all of them.
Right irf520!!!! Here in Brazil the same shit.
Believe me. The world is full of people being commanded by stupide and genocides politicians/managers.
Também sou brasileiro e concordo plenamente
As a certain Goebbels said, he lies, he lies that something will remain, by the way the Biden administration has no problem reflecting as in a mirror its own policy in the other countries that oppose him, as we say here, they have the face of stone. lie lie that something will remain.
Gaslighting is psychopaths’ favorite tool

Secretary General Stoltenberg,
Are you willing to debate Larry Johnson, re: Ukraine on Radio Free Mississippi?
I feel obliged as a matter of honesty and integrity to divulge to you my editorial position regarding you and NATO: You are a piece of human shit.
Fearing you will decline my debate challenge let me provide an example of how I will respect you nonetheless:
https://rebelarmy.com/audio/RFM-2008-05-06-WilliamOdom.mp3
Since you ain’t no more important than Gen. Odom once was, you can understand my confidence in asking you to debate Larry Johnson.
I will be asking you to comment on Mr. Johnson’s latest: https://sonar21.com/can-the-flood-of-lies-about-ukraine-and-russia-be-staunched/
Best regards,

Radio Free Mississippi
kudos!
General Odom! Haha… I met him at Millenium Challenge 02. Level -headed smart guy.
Larry, you are so right. Sadly, the longer this propaganda continues, the less political space there is for a NATO offramp pending a Trump (Trump/Gabbard?) election.
I just do not see the west has that long before the pitchforks are out. The continuing focus on energy misses how many critical materials are highly dependent on Russia, how weak the debt-driven western economies are, how most of the world does not stand with NATO, and how the West, inexplicably wants to expand the war to China and Saudi Arabia and . . . . – the collapse will not wait until Jan 2025.
For the record, I will not vote for Trump, though I respect anyone who does, and I will not vote for the Alzheimer patient or his airhead sidekick, and I have no respect for anyone who does.
PLEASE don’t fall for and simp for that WEF Gabbard snake. He needs someone like Mark Robinson from NC.
You can ask people to not listen to liars, but they turn on the TV anyway…
What was the devil’s greatest trick?
This is the first U.S. administration, in my personal experience, that I cannot identify who is responsible for authorizing the launch of nuclear weapons. Biden would be blamed, and as crazy as the CinC is with dementia, I’ve little doubt he might, but…
Do the Russians know with whom they are dealing?
I have thought about this for awhile and all I can come up with is “collective Obama”
Q: Can the flood of lies about Ukraine and Russia be staunched?
A: No.

Yes, indeed, another in a constant stream of insightful posts from the Z-man. I frequent this blog all of the time.
There is, beyond the food for thought constantly supplied by the host, a very lively commentariat to commend these posts/comments (very like to here at sonar21).
Looking at some decent images of the Kerch bridge facing south west, it appears to me that the rail bridge span, nearest the explosion, seems to have an upward bow in it and the Crimea bound intact road span has a sag in it.
If this is correct, then the bridge may have sustained more damage than reported.
Maybe it just my eyes or aberrations in the images used. (Lay a straight edge underneath the spans.)
I seriously can’t believe that you are so persistent in trolling – how do you get a need for that?
What is important is that one lane and railway parts are working. If they have built it, they can also fix it, so even if it is damaged a little bit more then reported, do you really think it makes any important difference?
Even if bridge would be completely down, that would not significantly hinder their war efforts, since they have so much fuel and planes they could actually fly in whatever is needed, and apart from that, there is raft route as well as land bridge
He is very critical of Russia, especially the Russian leadership. So he will always look for ways to paint us a darker picture about the Russian side. But most people in here know better and see the obvious as it is.
People who have been fed with western lies for years and even decades are not capable to see the obvious. For them the propaganda has worked, they all have been blindfolded not to see what is really going on, never to ever believe what the other side has to say and of course always to assume that mainly Russia and China are the ones responsible for everything that is bad. You can only have pity with people like that.
it is obvious that the RETCH is either well paid or cosmicaly stupid.
Isn’t the road lane only open to light vehicles?
There must be a reason.
And if the rail bridge is structurally damaged it may also limit traffic.
https://twitter.com/nojaydenx/status/1580325392170176512
And just to confirm that the intact road span has a sag, it can be seen in one of the images in this tweet:
https://oalexanderdk.substack.com/p/the-cause-of-the-crimea-bridge-explosion
Russian engineers have assessed the bridge physically, without the use of ‘decent images’ on the internet.
Well, to verify yourself the “intelligent” discovery of total failure of the bridge go there and take yourself “decent” photos of the “military masterpiece of battle” done by your friends SAS&UKies.
When you finish, walk few miles and see yourself the “outstanding” offensive against the “ruthless” Russians. Yours friends are not far from the bridge because they have a just a little to “eliberate” Crimeea. You can show us the “victory” photo.
Oh, boy. The Ukrainazis must be on the ropes again. You just know that’s the case when that old bar fly Rech shows up (it’s actually H. Reich, “the Third” in fact, but ole’ Heinrich here often leaves salient details like that out of both his posts and his thinking).
Sorry, meant the Russia bound intact road lane.
The only effective way to respond to the mendacity is with actions, not words. Here inside the US, we have to vote the liars out of office. I’m Ukraine, the Russians have to continue to destroy that country’s infrastructure, to make it clear to all that Zelenskyy and his American puppet masters control nothing but a hollow structure. I’ve heard that Russia can blast Ukraine with a hundred rockets a night for the next 6 months. Because they’ve already shut down 1/3 of Zelenskyy’s electrical capabilities in 3 days, I assume the Russians can complete the job in six weeks rather than the mentioned six months. Then, perhaps Moscow can save its remaining rockets and simply finish off the Ukraine ‘s armed forces with the million rounds of artillery ammo sent them by North Korea (according to the same lying idiots who told us a while ago that Russia was almost out of missiles!).
“I’ve heard that Russia can blast Ukraine with a hundred rockets a night for the next 6 months.”
Alexander Mercouris reported the same this morning, the source, three Pentagon think tanks. So the Pentagon knows exactly what the Russians capabilities are, which makes the nonsensical blatherings of Lloyd Austin suspicious in nature, as whatever one might think of our Secretary of Defense, I’m quite sure he is in the loop, as far as matters of war are concerned.
“Because they’ve already shut down 1/3 of Zelenskyy’s electrical capabilities in 3 days, I assume the Russians can complete the job in six weeks rather than the mentioned six months.”
Exactly. Personally, I think the Russians could shut Ukraine down tomorrow if they wanted to. But I could be wrong. Maybe their barrels would get too hot, so to speak, if they attempted to do it one day.
And you don’t want to melt your barrels!
A cold realization is coming to my people. Unlike Eva Braun, who despite throwing euphoric bunker parties right up till the last minute, was fully aware, and had accepted, the fate that awaited her.
I cannot say the same thing about my fellow Americans at any level of our society.
I understand Russia can sustain this level of attrition for six years.
You can’t bomb Ukraine to the ground like Baghdad , nobody wants four or five new Chernobyl “accidents” to happens , even more the Russians who dealt with the “original” shit in 86.
So yes, the Russians can raze 404 to the ground , and no , they won’t. They love their children too 🙂
Plus , I realize the more time pass , the more the Brandon administration pile up shitty decisions. Why haste for ending this war ? So, SMO it is then : Slow Motion Operation, it’s also sad cause the meat-grinder goes Brrr wile it last , but what can we do ’bout it ? Nothing much, governments in the West are in autistic mode , unfortunately not the Asperger one …
yes, by all means let’s vote the liars out of office — but we need to bear in mind that we would only be voting another pack of liars in.
I so much appreciate Larry’s pieces here and also the generally high quality of the comments.
That National Security Strategy is insane. It’s supposed to be about strategy… what you quoted Larry is not strategy! A typical role I play is to interpret the latest National Defense Strategy towards future warfighting operational and tactical development and “hardware” requirements against foreign threats. Knowing that it’s all based on fabricated lies, I have nothing but a mound of sand to stand on now. Since there is no truth, I can only conclude that .gov itself is a national security threat to its people.
Bolsheviks tatoo what they themselves are doing while claiming it’s the opposite side doing it. It’s far worse than black pots and kettles!
I’ll download it, review, and tear it further apart on work time. Thanks for posting it.
The French intelligence community have already concluded that the USA is France’s main enemy. The Economic Warfare School published a 100 page report titled “Who Is The Enemy?” this week which claims that the US/UK have set up a ‘war machine’ aimed at undermining French interests. The accompanying video depicts France plunged into an energy crisis while Scwab and Macaroon tell the sheeple that ‘everything is fine’.
The report also mentions China/Russia but as secondary threats compared to the US.
The Economic Warfare School is known for close ties to the French intelligence community and for training counter intelligence executives for large French companies.
https://t.me/intelslava/39118
…full disclosure, I am yet to find this report or video online to verify it for myself.
Yes. There will be an end to our self-serving propaganda.
It will be like the thunderous collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990. Five, ten, or fifteen yrs from now we will still be saying, ‘Russia is both evil and incompetent and we are the richest and freest country in the world’. But at some point people will notice that their standard of living is declining while Russia and China are building infrastructure. Neocons will come up with clever arguments but at some point the truth will be impossible to suppress, even with a govt controlled MSM.
A false reality based on ubiquitous lies across a wide range of subjects is had to break from. It’s slavery imposed by the liars. Freedom would mean having to dispense with most everything you were told was true and to stand apart from the herd. That can be very unsettling for most people. So they resist even in the face of solid evidence.
The liars know what they’re doing. What they are applying is an art and a true data driven science, developed in psych labs for a hundred years or so, aimed at you mind and soul. Don’t underestimate its power.
You are correct. Our collective situation is akin to that of a battered wife dealing with the endless abuse of her tyrannical husband, but every such predicament comes to an end eventually. In the worse case scenario, the husband delivers one too many punches and kills the wife, but at least the neighbours stop buying his lies at that point.
I became a bad guy and could not post on Wall Street Journal because I called out politely a celebrated opinion writer on his claim that Russia was failing in its goals in Ukraine I asked for specifics on the goals of the SMO laid out by Putin several times. I certain if I claimed Russia was racist towards blacks it would have been allowed.
The world has become upside down….fear has become a virtue…. masses fear a virus that causes a respiratory illness with 99.7% survival rate yet are nonchalant about a global nuclear war with a survival rate in Western urban areas of probably nil….I think it’s a forgone conclusion that the Western financial interests want their globalist stooges to start a nuclear war….end of story and Maybe time to check expiry dates on batteries and baked beans. There is no logic anymore….stick a fork in us….we are done
There is no greater example of the US power elite trampling on treasured rights and freedoms than the cruel and unjust persecution of Julian Assange. Nothing else comes close. Freedom of the press in this country will soon be little more than a slogan.
Projection is the name of the game for Biden’s Woke, Perverse, Corrupt Military. That’s all they have left!
I think that Biden is a puppet (all US presidents are) of the corrupted military personnel in US. All of them sponsored by an irresponsible, greedy and cruel elite.
My mouth runneth dry repeating the same thing every day:
The more they lie and project, the more obvious it is that they are desperate.
Look for police state increasing its control/aggression, look for increasing poverty, inflation, more supply chain problems, more predatory practices, more ignoring of laws, more draconian laws, more people in prison, more blame of Russia/China/whoever for everything, more division of society….more COWBELL!
The West led by United States has reached the point where this fight is existential for them. You know what the worst part is for USA? EU right now is the collective puppet/lap dog so it “feels” like we are all in this together (at least public perception of it). But just as quickly as EU “went dumb”, they can switch allegiance even faster (it is starting?). What will happen when EU decouples from United States and God forbid, by any chance mends the fences with Russia? The United States will be left alone to hold the (empty) bag.
And the above, ladies and gentlemen, is what scares Washington so much. So much so that this is a real fight for survival, not for Russia but for USA….and this is why no matter what, the head is in the sand and we are yelling “la la la la la can’t hear ya!”.
Correct!
PS
1. Gargle with salt and rinse.
2. Then spray , “Biotene”dry mouth spray.
…. and keep on keeping on brother, cause the choir is hear’in you. (And don’t give a fuck about the non believers son, I sure don’t.)
I look at it a bit different. The deafening volume and increasing shrillness of the lies betray the anxiety being felt by the Ruling Elite and their circle of servants. The truth is leaking out. The light of day is finding its way in through the ever widening cracks.
Thank you Larry, and all the othe truth seekers and truth tellers. Remember All, it is darkest before the dawn.
… And three cheers for Tulsi!
I second that emotion!
What’s going on in Luhansk right now? I’m reading about some sort of new Ukraine offensive, centered on Svatova. But it’s Instapundit reporting Battleswarm reporting Weeb, so…
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/10/12/joe-biden-stalls-consequences-for-saudi-arabia-until-after-midterms/
The arrogance belies the desperation of threatening the Saudis so blatantly. What happens if the Saudis call the bluff. Biden’s mouth, reflecting his core bully, has done more damage to the Interagency’s plans and mechanizations than Putin ever hoped to.
What really concerns me is what happens if there really is a red wave in November. The Party of Perpetual Adolescence will have roughly five legislative weeks on the clock to pass every idiotically malicious ideological boondoggle imaginable, down to and including declaring war on Russia, and the most corrupt, venal, vengeful bully ever to be installed in the Presidency to sign it into law.
Voting doesn’t matter

The Kingdom strikes back.
Trouble is, a testicle-spiked football matters not to the numb-nuts we allow to remain in charge of the nuclear footbal.
Here in Australia I can’t believe how the vast majority of supposed grown adults are taken in by the MSM propaganda here on The War and the Covid hoax. You would think that the Ukes were enjoying a blitzkrieg over the Russians. The latest report was a copy and paste from the once esteemed The Times in which they “believe” 4 Russian helicopters were shot down over a matter of minutes. Accuracy in reporting obviously is not taught to ‘advocates disguised as reporters’ nowadays.
We are at the point in time where the Russians need to put-up or shut-up.
G’Day Sandy, why does Russia have to put up or shut up? They aren’t impacted by flocks of sheep believing the bovine excrement they’re being fed in the western fake news, I get the impression they’re even coming around to the view that they need not care about the vacuous bletherings of our sock-puppets in government.
All Russia has to do is stay the course and watch while not only Ukraine bleeds itself white, but so too does Europe and the UK. The US is probably big enough and ugly enough to weather this storm it fomented in Ukraine, but with a much reduced stature and influence around the world and a further reduced standard of living for most of its population; which probably has implications for the unity of the republic long term.
For Australia and Canada, we’ll have to get used to dealing with our neighbours in Asia on our own and on their terms because we won’t be able to hide behind the skirts of this ‘International community’ which is imploding in slow motion right now.
The sooner our ‘leaders’ get that through their thick heads the better for all of us. I’d be more confident that such an epiphany could occur in ‘the west’ if the Davos Ski Club was out of the picture, but malignant cancers are very difficult to cure without killing the patient.
Where is the freedom of expression in this country which blocked the FACEBOOK and TWEETER accounts of President TRUMP then candidate for the presidential elections!?
The NSS is normally a nation’s most serious document, defining it, the world and its place in it. If the US’ braintrusts aren’t able to see past the propaganda they’re swimming in, the US is headed for catastrophic failure.
My guess is that they know well that it’s pack of lies, which means it’s purpose is similar to Orwell’s “2+2=5”. Throw your intellect and integrity out the window, behave and speak as if it were true , and you can be a member of the power nexus that runs this country. Insist on facts & reason and you’re out of the loop, or worse.
The scary thing is, Orwell’s Party gained and held power successfully. The issue is not the absurdity itself, but the absolute subjugation implied in a person’s accepting the absurdity as a governing principle. That’s how the Inner Party controlled its Outer Party. They didn’t give a damn what the Proles thought because they didn’t have power and never would as long as the Outer Party was under Inner Party control.
Something like that is what’s going on here, IMHO.
Quoting: “Yet, Biden wants the American public to buy into the lie that the biggest threat to their freedom comes from Russia when it is his own government and policies that are stripping away Constitutionally protected rights.”
The elite are waging a class against America’s freedom and values. Do a search on “Koch Family Foundations”. Also search for “You elected them to write new laws. They’re letting corporations do it instead.”
Follow the money!
Do you think that these fellows funding these think tanks have your best interests at heart?
America was – despite it’s many, many faults – a beacon of light, admired by most. This is fast changing. More people need wake up and stand for Truth.
America has not been admired since Iraq. It’s feared. If fear goes it wil find it has very few friends. Biden is destroying American credibility every day. His diplomats are course and rude ordering, bullying and antagonising. US has given up even the pretence of diplomacy and civility. This is dangerous as once you violate basic norms of diplomatic behaviour what’s left? How are you going to re engage and who is going to trust and respect you?
Unless America has an almighty clear out of the old and a new dynamic, rational leader it will become not just irrelevant but a pariah state on the way down. Like Bernie Madoff. You destroy your own and find no one wants to know you when the bubble bursts.
Good comment.
To disrupt the institutional foundations of the U.S. deep state, it will be necessary to eliminate tax-exempt, charitable, foundations. It’s not all that will be required, but is a solid first step…
“To disrupt the institutional foundations of the U.S. deep state” it is necessary to break the USA up into 5 or more smaller states, (with the landlocked central state[s] getting the US Navy! 🙂
The 16th and 17th Amendments must go. They are literally the lynch-pins of DC corruption.
Dear all
Thanks for a good article about all the crazy propaganda that is going on! At least we are some that are immune to the deep state’s outrages lying campaign.
My wife and I live in Copenhagen Denmark, my wife is ethnic Russian, but also has a Danish passport and I´m native Danish. We both love Denmark, but times are now unfortunately more difficult than ever. We are surrounded by people that has bought into the western propaganda that Russians are 100% to blame for the “unjustified” war in Ukraine and it is our believe that 80-90% of Danes support our big brother and savior USA, even if our Big Brother blows up Russian infrastructure in our waters and completely destroys our wild life and nature in that area, so now it´s every Danes morale right to stick it to Putin by paying high energy prices and turn down the heater when it gets cold and actually not a lot of people are complaining it´s a weird situation to be frank.
Some of our friends, even some of my wife´s Russian friends have decided to end our friendship because we have told them the truth and how we feel, but that´s just how it is, we have chosen the path of the righteous and everything that comes with it.
A little European story for all of you, I bet we are not the only ones experiencing these crazy things!?
In Germany, around 500000 Russian people came to live here. Plus the 2 Million German Russians. Those people are forced to investigate, and not just follow the pre cooked media thoughts. So, you are not alone.
Today the Polish Clown-in-Chief speculated that the problems with the pipeline in his country were caused by Russian Sabotage.
So, we need to believe that the Russians first sabotaged their own pipeline in an area that is basically a NATO lake, undetected, then they sabotaged a pipeline in Poland, again, without anybody noticing.
If that is the case, the west should start preparing its own declarations of Unconditional Surrender to Russia, as it seems that Russia probably has some Alien technology that allows it to conduct sabotage acts when they wish, right under the nose of her enemies, without then ever noticing until it is too late.
These are the heirs in spirit to Don Quixote, famous for his delusions about himself and his enemies. Once this is understood, one automatically looks for popcorn and beer, stops thinking and starts enjoying. Provided he is warm and well fed.
“These are the heirs in spirit to Don Quixote, famous for his delusions about himself and his enemies.”
I’ve got to break a lance here for Cervante’s idealist, though I understand the point you’re making. Nevertheless, it’s fun, bear wit me.
D. Quixote has a clearsighted understanding of evil, though not of the means to ultimately eradicate it, nor the knowledge of the appropriate battlefield on which evil can truly be conquered.
His failing was to be the kind of Christian warrior that thinks that evil can be realistically extirpated from the material world. In other words, to try to fight the spiritual fight with worldly means.
One of the concepts of the book is his encountering all kinds of worldlings, who invariably mock and attempt to humiliate him. And yet, every place is perfumed by his innate goodness and some of the characters (including Sancho, his squire) are clearly elevated in their worldly pursuits by his acquaintance.
If anything, D. Quixote is a good morality take for those who may think that Christian purity can be achieved by arms. Incidentally, there a few orthodox Christians who are indulging in very suspect hopes for some of the outcomes from the success of Russia (positive as I think it will be for the future of the globe). Some American Christians are also in this boat.
When I read Don Quixote for maybe 5th time – it became clear to me the book was actually about mocking religion, cults, brainwashing and lying to oneself. Selling your soul.
It’s basically about what happens when we all start lying and pretending we believe each other’s lies. How quickly and unpredictably it gets out of control.
The ‘books of chivalry’ that made otherwise sane and intelligent DQ go crazy was a metaphor for Bible and other dogmatic predatory tools of cultish brainwashing.
One of the things that made me connect the dots was the priest who was always there to encourage DQ’s madness while pretending he was trying to help him. And what the priest did was a great illustration of someone very well practiced in lies.
There are many other little bits revealing how religion/church works (Pedro Almodovar does a similar thing in his films when he reveals how the film industry works, exposing how many actors think like in his Bad Education, and a few others).
Cervantes basically found an inquisition-proof way to expose the absurdity of dogma, self-perpetuated lies, cultish obedience signaling and many other defects we see today all around NAZO, JUSA and other parts of western psychocracy.
My favorite part of the book was when DQ and Sancho (a good metaphor for a greedy, ready to sell his soul sheeple) met the duke and the duchess who started making fun of them in the most clever ways I have ever seen (but in reality allowing them to fulfill their wildest dreams neither DQ nor Sancho thought would ever be fulfilled despite the lies and what they both knew very well was a self-deceit).
Wow, that NSS is straight out of Orwell. I think even the punctuation was a lie. Good article today, Larry.
The seeds of “1984” began to sprout when Roosevelt baited the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor while assuring Americans they would not be involved in a war in Europe. (see Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace, ed. Elmer Barnes). Then of course there was the assassination of JFK and the massive coverup that followed….and on and on.
Maybe 1984 is inherent when a republic becomes a national security state as the U.S. did after WW2, and the corruption that follows takes decades to ripen.
Austin needs to please his last and future employer. A big board seat awaits through the revolving door. No conflict of interest to declare. Of course.
Waiting for media to tout him for high political office
because of the Ukraine military success.
Another ripper of an article.
It ain’t over till is over. The only thermal nuke to go off will be the Democrats Social/transgender rats, when the entire edifice collapses. Collapse it will.
I have faith in the silent US Military (majority.) Having worn a Army uniform myself I will tell you now I was very proud of it.
I was doing something for my country and everyone in it without any concerns for the difference between, height, weight, colour, sex or pay scale.
The citizens of my country all looked the same to us soldiers, sailors and airmen the people were and still are citizens and one big noise family.
Do I love my country? “Yes I do!”
Same same for Americas grunts and salty’s.
This is why you write this bogg Larry, it shows.
Aaron,
What would it take for you to (theoretically) man a checkpoint to prevent Federales from entering your town/neighborhood ?
Note to the NSA; Just Trying to gauge sentiment only here – not advocating anything.
@ 70 years old, had heart surgery and don’t live or been in the USA, it’s kinda hard to speculate. But I would vote in Nov 7 fake election singing bye bye American pie.
PS
Just watched a video of a white youth shot in his car for eating a hamburger.
https://www.unz.com/aanglin/hardcore-cop-kills-a-guy-for-eating-a-hamburger-in-his-car/
At the end of the article the boys mum says he is still alive. Who do you believe and where do you work LOL
The video speaks for itself. There is a lot of added commentary and quotes. This needs some followup to clarify the situation.
On who’s dollar are you going to “ follow up and clarify ?” What qualification’s? Recommend you start with the crazy Stormtrooper blogg. For the Nuts/ faggot/ Jew conspiracy freaks.
The Red Line with regard any opinion on any blogg site is the reference to the US military. Bingo the reaction is very raw and loaded with subliminal threats. This amusing prodding on my behalf tells me it’s not the Russians or Chinese that are considered the primary threat to the aristocracy.
With the reference above ie UNZ report, this is an example of the open and blatant lies screamed out load. Which clarifies Larry’s article to perfection. At no point in the recording did I hear the word Nigger or side serve of bullets with your bugger. Then again I am a tad deaf.
If I was an illegal alien, full of Covid, gang member, convicted felon I could vote by mail, receive welfare/medical benefits / transgender adjustment free classes and live on a luxury cruise liner in New York harbour with views of Manhattan all free!
You do see the problem with America to day. Cut an old soldier some slack.
I hope you follow the example of the late, great, Smedley Butler
Larry, I don’t think the lies will or can stop, mainly because these western leaders are lying to themselves.
The lies are to keep them in a state of delusion and wilful blindness about what they have done.
They need to keep their lies alive, because if they were to accept the truth – that they are responsible for the worst calamity to fall upon the West for centuries – it would be simply too much for them to cope with.
That’s why I think we will see them doubling down more and more, even as Russia’s victory in Ukraine and the rise of the new China/Russia power ‘pole’ becomes impossible for everyone else to ignore.
Psychopaths believe their own bullshit.
See, I watch the Deep State networks, MSNBC, CNN, Fox. Let’s see, the nights of the first two attacks, the reporters are in Kiev, the city is dark, and they’re claiming Russia is out of missiles, that Putin is running scared. Worse than Baghdad Bob. They’re in the dark these reporters, wearing cold weather gear ALREADY, saying Russia is lost. Then the lie that the Crimean Bridge was dropped when it’s back in operation from Day 2. Of course, Russian owns Crimea, the Donbass, the Azov Seaa and soon, the entire Black sea coast now, but Ukraine is the one gaining ground. Hilarious! Oh! Another lie, Russia is scooping young men off the streets for their 300,000 troop buildup and young men are leaving Russia by the tens of thousands to avoid conscription. They avoid telling, that with one night of strikes, Ukraine won’t be selling electricity to NATO countries for awhile, either. They neglect to tell the public, these networks, that Ukraine can’t run electric trains, they’re back to diesel, which, they have fewer of those locomotives, but that doesn’t matter, because they have little diesel fuel anyway. They tell the western/American citizens NONE of this, because it all points to utter failure of American/Nato military/economic actions in this thing. The journalists know the score, the truth, but they have to keep their jobs. Have to keep the propaganda going to keep the money flowing. But 95% of the American public can’t/doesn’t dig for the truth, to they trust the alphabet networks.
Now, we guys get accuracy because we dig in, we have Larry and Martyanov, Saker, Mercouris and others. But that shit doesn’t matter in the long run, but we see how ridiculous are Blinken, Sullivan, the entire Democrat cabal in the cabinet, the lies in media. But not 99% of the public. Because the civilian population, the saps, as long as the media/Deep State can keep those idiots in the dark, they’re going to keep getting their arms money. That’s all it is. Yes, there are ethnics in Biden’s administration and at State that wish to kill Russia for their own reasons that also are driving all this. But these are the folks that run the megaphone and profit from the arms sales, influence peddling, the grift. Ask Victoria Nuland. Fuck the EU. She must be dancing with sugarplums watching what happens in the EU today.
Yeah, sure, Putin is falling apart, he’s a target, he’s old, he’s deranged. More lies. The list is endless. They’ll tell any lie. And like Larry said, most of the Russian flaws they tell the shrubs that watch networks are psychological projection.
Ah well. I had my say. Tell me where I’m wrong? As always, I’m all ears.
Spot on, 100%!
Cheer up old mate you are not alone.
Soon to be joined at the hip by 350 million pissed off ex EU shorn sheep.
Lamb chops are Trump’s.
To me, the funniest thing is when the Western empire of lies talks about “Russian propaganda”. After the “Ghost of Kiev”, an old woman who shot down a Russian drone with a jar of cucumbers, a goat that activated mines and wounded 40 Russian soldiers (the goat survived), etc. Not to mention the Ukrainian “victory”, “chaos” in the ranks of the Russian army, “failure” of mobilization (in reality they asked for 300,000 soldiers, and received 870,000 applicants). Perhaps the best evidence of the downfall of Western civilization is that many people believe in these fairy tales.
Will say it here, have no where else to put it.
1. Russia harbors a robust imperative to reestablish the (historic) boundaries of the Mother/Fatherland (actual & sphere of influence). That those boundaries overlay (somewhat, maybe a good deal) with those of the former Soviet Union is beside the point. It only illustrates that even the (western seeded) Bolsheviks understood – from day one in St, Petersburg – the lay of the land they needed to plow and furrow. That the Collective West makes much of the image of the overlay demonstrates their apt use of propaganda (in J. Ellul’s sense of the term). It is useful in cultivating fear of some great Hunnish Steppe Horde. That does not make Russia ‘imperialist” in the Collective’s spin on the word. In the end Russia will settle down in an empire (of sorts) with a healthy adhering center; but that does not make her Soviet/Communist nor Hunnish.
2. Regarding the use of tactical nuclear strikes. Russia may use such in the ‘field’ but never over Kiev. She will never release a weapon which would destroy the Kiev Cave Monastery Complex. Never to be forgotten, one of the great signs (of thanksgiving) of putting (western seeded & sent) communism behind her was the rebuilding of the Christ the Savior Cathedral in central Moscow. To destroy the Kiev Caves Monastery would make a lie of Russia’s Phoenix rising. Kiev can be taken without such destruction.
War is many things. Much of it ugly & nasty. Yet, when it is leverage to a certain level, war (when properly motivated & performed) is a metaphysical act.
Is it allowed to call chicken shit “chicken shit” on this platform?
I quote a lecturer at the NVA’s LSK/LV Officers’ College circa 1980:
“Soviet military doctrine states:
The year 1941 will not be repeated, …”
So – in rough and whole according to my opinion:
1.
The RF did not want Ukraine and it does not need it – on the contrary, it did not want this “country 404”, which it had already become before 2014, to be tied to its leg.
(There are voices in the RF that see the disintegration of the USSR as a “shedding of ballast”, admittedly with some unpleasant territorial losses, which one owes to history, and primarily Lenin is the bogeyman there – but that should not be the topic here, that is typical liberalist understanding of history).
It was the West that thought that Russia could not become a relevant power without Ukraine.
This was obviously a mistake.
2.
The RF has always recognized the order after the disintegration of the USSR.
But what the RF could not and cannot tolerate (because basically no state can) is the emergence and development of entities in such a way that they are hostile, aggressive to the RF and actually develop a threat potential for the security of the RF….
And this is exactly what the West has done to Ukraine. In fact, a reincarnation of the Third Reich was put in front of the RF.
3.
It follows from this:
It is not about “liberation” or even “conquest” of Ukraine – it was never about that.
It is exclusively about the security of the RF.
In addition, of course, it is also about the protection of those who have opposed this development of Ukraine from the beginning, at least since 2014. And they have also paid for it, not only in the Donbass.
But the point is: Even without the “Donbass problem” and the “Crimean question”, the RF – in view of the political orientation, military armament of Ukraine and ideological conditioning of the population – would most likely have been forced to intervene militarily sooner or later, because such a Ukraine is only the weapon of the West and not the object of the conflict – Ukraine would not be able to develop such a threat potential on its own, at least not in the foreseeable future.
…
Agreed – the consensus in the RF appears to be that the various republics that left were more trouble than they are worth. A net negative
Did I layer the comment yard, here, with that much “chicken shit”? Please.
My wording may be been overly generalized, but no way by using “overlay” was there even a hint a renewed, recovered RUSSIAN commonwealth would include those pesky former soviet states which have incubated Russia-phobia since time immemorial. The “overlay” is a very Russian one, with a few exceptions in the southern regions (which is why the term Federation is apt). An “overlay” operation, by the way, which has been put on full display for all the world to witness with the (now) incorporation of the Russian speaking sectors of eastern Ukraine.
In truth, the accession of all Russian speaking territories – in Ukraine, or out – overlays any prior soviet boundaries to the extent it erases them (an historic expunging). I am fully aware that this observation counters a school of thought often express here. That’s OK. I refuse to relinquish the presupposition that soviet communism (theory & practice) was a foreign import, an intrusive invader concocted and congealed outside those Russian boundaries.
Sovietism – as congealed in London, New York, Berlin & Paris – is the bastardly ancestor of (Anglo-Saxon, Nazi spawned) NATO; a foreign fiat currency performing a Nixonian severing of Russia from her golden culture and her standard as a nation. Sovietism, as intended, bankrupt her.
There’s much talk about Soviet War Doctrine, here and elsewhere. Fine. Much feather plume waving over whose the expert. Again, that’s OK. Follow most of it. Been instructed much. Yet it seems to me that the good, nd tested utility, within is there in spite of it being ‘soviet’. It (the SWD) was a doctrine developed out of (a Russian) necessity. One only needs to observe that sovietism (doctrine or practice) has no affinity or place for (something as Russian as) Fatherland.
The rest of my remarks stand. Add only this: unlike the former states of the Warsaw Pact, Ukraine is a special case. Something western intelligence agencies well understand; something which makes the place so easily bedeviled and used. Ukraine, especially it western marches, is – historically – a bad cousin gone really, really bad; a relative who picked up some nasty habits from keeping even worse company. Whatever, eventually, becomes the status of western Ukraine, Cousin Ukraine needs to be sent packing after being scrubbed and sternly instructed about her origins. If that cleansing and instruction is again forgotten, sullied – or, worse, sold – her Greater Cousin will collar her and mark her back into the woodshed.
Ukraine seems always in need of tough love.
Seems the Kerch bridge posters, showing explosions at the arches, follows MI6’s original plan to blow the thin pylons supporting the arches. Did SBU try another plan moving 22,000 kg of explosives via Bulgaria, Armenia, etc. to the bridge road way and causing spectacular PR but little damage – roads and rail open soon after.
See:https://thegrayzone.com/2022/10/10/ukrainian-kerch-bridge/
One small question I had was about the driver. Was he a suicide bomber? Why was he in the right lane?
Bidet and his fellow psychopaths understand very well what happened and who is to blame, they just can’t help using their favorite tool gaslighting/psychopathic projection:
here is a good explanation of how they think/operate:
“…Psychopathy is the inability to process emotional experience, including love and caring, except when such experience can be calculated as a coldly intellectual task. It’s not just an absence of guilt and remorse.
It’s an aberration in the ability to have and to appreciate real (noncalculated) emotional experience, and therefore to connect with other people within real (noncalcuated ) relationships. It’s ultimately based on lovelessness.
Psychopaths cannot love, by definition they do not have higher values, and they almost never feel comfortable in their own skins. They are loveless, amoral and chronically bored, even the few who become rich and powerful. And they are uncomfortable in their own skins for more reasons than boredom. The absolute self-involvement of psychopathy creates an individual consciousness that is aware of every little ache and twitch in the body, every passing sensation in the head and chest, with acute personalized concern to every radio and TV report about everything from bedbugs to ricin.
The emotional bankruptcy of psychopathy means that the psychopath is forever deprived of an authentic emotional intelligence, a capacity for understanding how people work that is an irreplaceable guide for living in the human world.
A person without conscience, even a smart one, tends to be a shortsighted and surprisingly naïve individual who eventually expires of boredom, financial ruin, or a bullet.
..”
I posit that beneath all these lies, there is one biggest Lie formulated sometime in the past, which in time gave birth to all these lies we hear today. I’m talking about the Mother of All Lies pertaining Ukraine, which is the identity of the country itself. What is Ukraine? Wasn’t it just some Slavic sub-ethnic group, which was sort of large enough to matter, but never big enough to be its own thing, save for its association with larger powers (Polish-Lithuanian, Austro-Hungarian, but primarily Russian Empire)? It never had a serious enough history to warrant it to become what it finally became in 1991. Saying that it did is a lie. It’s like saying California had a serious enough history of its own which would have allowed it to become as big and powerful (economically speaking at least) as it is now. Wasn’t it its association with Spain, Mexico, and ultimately the United States, which made it what is is today? Most people think that Ukraine was always, since time immemorial, an authentic polity which Russia conquered a few decades ago and seeks to re-conquer today. I can understand everyday people making this mistake. But Western, especially European, leaders? Don’t they know their own history?
Now, I am not implying that Ukraine should not have become as big as it did. It think it was wonderful that it did. But it’s mostly thanks to Russia, yes? If nothing else, they could show some appreciation by not trying to host American missiles there.
The history teach us that for the “leaders”, it’s not a question of rationality but their own power.
For the peoples it’s not either a question of rationality but to agree with the power (Milgram & Arsh experiment) and the more the power is violent, the more the majority of people agree (until a certain level of complete destruction, Soviet union after ~60 years, Germany in 45).
Not many of you, probably not one of you had lived in the nightmare the communists regimes of the East were, Baron did, in part behind bars, he can tell you the Red Menace deployed the same technique in governing we are seeing now in the West, it was lies, half-truths and deceptions, often all three together, it was the key underpinning reason for the regimes’ collapse, truth always outs, it will out in the West also.
Eventually.
“Live not by Lies” – Dreher
I have been a sceptic for many years now – in the tradition of the philosopher David Hume who lived not far from my home here in the Scottish Borders. I find it very difficult to engage socially with anyone who is not a sceptic and find it hard to bite my tongue when someone regurgitates BS from the MSM. I’ve even written a book about ‘Philosophising in a Phoney World’ – which will probably never be published – in which I explore the various impediments to clear thinking. Dogma, allegiances to political parties or ideologies, the ‘bewitchment’ of language (including Wokeness) all get in the way. I have found that people, generally, are emotionally attached to their ideas and beliefs and find it very difficult to accept information that conflicts with these. The notion that our politicians and media would lie to us about important matters relating to ‘health’, the climate and war is anathema to most. Therefore, sceptics are needed now more than ever. So, we owe a great deal to people like Larry, the Duran, Brian Berletic, Andrei and many, many others who refuse to drink the ‘Kool-Aid’.
As long as Mr. Zelensky is president of Ukraine, people will believe the US government lies.
He is the element that stabilises the propaganda.
If Russia wants to change the mood in the western world, zelensky has to leave.
I don’t think Russia cares what lies the west tells their population. You can’t really change someone that has been fed that stuff for years. The best Russia can do, is stay on their path and achieve their goals.
The west will always lie and cheat to defend their criminal activities and/or project them on others. The fact that US could not whip other countries to their own narrative is enough to show that they are not as mighty as their portray themself and that the world does not believe their lies anymore.
Zelensky is clearly a puppet. Whoever will follow him, will be a puppet too. US has to go, Zelensky can stay. In the end he will have to pay for his crimes. He is not only a puppet but also a useful scapegoat, should the US need one.
Under what conditions will the West stop interfering Russia?
My only guess is: After a regime change in the West. Otherwise, the USA will not give plans for hegemony.
I know nothing about military tactics, but I have always wondered why Russia’s first shot wasn’t a midnight cruise missile into Zelensky’s bedroom, along with any other leaders they could locate before everyone hunkers down. Does the old “cut off the head” strategy not still work in current year?
There is an interesting pathway that we go from doubting one or two things specifically to doubting pretty much everything.
Ukraine is most obvious.
Syria was less obvious at the time, until the Russians went in and released the video of queues of tankers on the border of Turkey delivering stolen Syrian oil for which Erdogan’s son as Energy minister would pay ISIS. Those videos went mainstream for 24h before they disappeared and western viewers were treated to long explanation on how ISIS funded themselves on local taxes and sales of ancient stones, with no mention of Nato country assisted theft.
Venezuela – well if you began to be suspicious, you might have checked Guaido’s Wiki page and discovered that he was such a genuine rival to Madura that his page had been created one whole week before US named him as the real President.
Ujghurs – that initial BBC lead claim of 1 million Ujghur prisoners (no longer ever mentioned), a suspicious mind might want to follow through with the promises of satellite evidence of further prisons. No – there was no actual evidence shown ever (ditto a later Breitbart investigation). So large 7,000 prison is all the evidence for 1m (you’d need about 300 prisons to get 1m and google earth works fine, so pretty easy to find.
Add in the “relatives of prisoners” who were all interviewed in … Istanbul, and…..
So is there any news that is genuine? Is it all paid for with PR slush money?
Probably yes. All of it. Business and sports pages too.
Over the past decade, the American government has chosen to pursue an imperialist foreign policy with the goal of overturning key elements of the international order. This culminated in a full-scale invasion of Afghanistan in an attempt to topple its government and bring it under American control. But, this attack did not come out of the blue; it was preceded by America’s 2014 coup in Ukraine, its military intervention in Syria, its longstanding efforts to destabilize its neighbors using intelligence and cyber capabilities, and its blatant attempts to undermine internal democratic processes in countries across Europe, Central Asia, and around the world. America has also interfered brazenly in Russian politics and worked to sow divisions among the Russian people. And America’s destabilizing actions are not limited to the international arena. Domestically, the American government under President Brandon violates its citizens’ human rights, suppresses its opposition, and shutters independent media. America now has a stagnant political system that is unresponsive to the needs of its people.
Hmmm, I think this reads better.
Well, they seem to have succeeded in taking the Australian government into captivity, as well as the UK and Canadian ones. You (and I) need to do a bit of organising / agitating to get real independent governments.
One problem in Oz is we tend to like and get along well with Yanks, though many are not so keen on Uncle Sam and his foreign policy – and quite a few other policies being exported in the last few years.
There is resistance here, but far too many of my compatriots have an easy-going, “she’ll be right mate” attitude and like millions of others around the Western world are sleep-walking into tyranny now that the powers that be have backed off the covid crap. One day they’ll wake up and realise Alex Jones was right (again).
besides the preplanned stamp, an article appeared in The Washington Post on October 8th: Amid Ukrainian taunts, Russia scrambles to salvage Crimean Bridge after fiery explosion
By Missy Ryan, Natalia Abbakumova and Kostiantyn Khudov
Updated October 8, 2022 at 3:36 p.m. EDT|Published October 8, 2022 at 3:11 a.m. EDT
“Mykhailo Podolyak, a senior adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky, called it “the beginning.” “Everything illegal must be destroyed,” Podolyak added on Twitter. The Ukrainian government provided no immediate official statement on the cause of the blast. But in a taunt, the government’s official Twitter account posted: “sick burn.”
Ukrainian commanders had publicly promised to attack the bridge as recently as June. And A UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL TOLD THE WASHINGTON POST ON SATURDAY THAT UKRAINIAN SPECIAL SERVICES WERE BEHIND THE BRIDGE ATTACK. The Ukrainska Pravda news site first reported the government’s purported role, citing an unidentified law enforcement official who said Ukraine’s security service, the SBU, was involved”.
Can we please stop talking about Trump, he’s defended Pelosi, helped democrats in their obfuscation of the border wall, and hand delivered US patriots to the Stasi FBI on the steps of the US capitol. He’s either as smooth brained as Biden, or part of a larger theater. First and foremost the man is a loser. His sins against the American people need to be aired so we can move these people on.
What about the sins against him? Do these need to be aired?
Tell me, how well do you think you would cope if authorities and the media hounded you for 2 or 3 years, getting into your taxes, targeting your family, jailing and terrifying your friends and colleagues for basically being your friends and colleagues, lying repeatedly and there was nothing you could do about it. When they really are out to get you. Do you have any idea what that does to someones mind and how few people can really take that level of psychological pressure and come out even remotely normal?
How do you move on from that? Do you even understand what happened?
My first falling out with Trump was when the big illegal alien round up that turned out to be a wet fart. It was such a no brainer. Who cares if the media sobs? Even legal Hispanics hate the illegals. There’s no real downside to a roundup.
The final one was him tweeting “law and order” during the 2020 riots and doing nothing. Meanwhile there were plenty of articles by legal experts saying all the thing he could, in fact, do given the complete dereliction of duty by local authorities.
I still voted for him in 2020, and think (*know*) he was the actual winner, but I wasn’t expecting much. He was just better than Biden, who it was obvious when he became the Dem candidate was a puppet for some shadow government. At least Trump did stuff that the economy liked.
What will happen when you attach belief to your own PR lies? Look at Kiev. Zelensky ordered to have all the air defense moved from the Ukrainian cities to the frontline, because he attached belief to the lie that Russia has run out of missiles etc. etc. So this belief of the Ukrainian president in his whirlpool of lies actually helpes to maximize the impact of Russia’s daily barrage with missiles hitting Ukraine’s power grid.
At present Russia is systematically cutting Ukraine’s electric power grid into half (- this is explained in detail by Dima in his latest Military Summary vlog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-v43eprObA -). There happen to be three nucleair power stations located in West Ukraine, that are in danger of getting into a Chernobyl-like meltdown, when Russia would go for and cause a total blackout of electric power in the whole Ukraine. Instead you can now already see a plan unfold to draw a new borderline from Kharkov oblast in the north to Odessa oblast in the south. Along this future borderline Russia is now cutting all the electric power lines, thereby isolating West Ukraine (with its three nucleair power stations that are to be kept functioning) from Novorossiya in the east.
The stupidity and arrogance of the Americans (collective West and vassals?), thinking that they can now announce their oil price cap… I guess they thought in their sick demented minds that they would have their dirty thieving paws on Russia’s oil by now, and they can still control the price .. (like a silly child playing pretend games in the corner cos they couldn’t be the boss of the game, while the rest of the big kids are having a nice time together).. stupid is as stupid does .. would be comical if it wasn’t so sad .. grow up America and friends (vassals)…
Kievs propaganda is ridiculous.
1) The Ghost of Kiev shot down 40 Russian fighter jets.
2) Old man (with failing eyesight) shot down a Russian fighter jet with his rifle.
3) Ukrainian woman downed a Russian drone by throwing a jar of pickles at it.
Next we’re going to hear that a 14 year old Ukrainian boy was fishing and manage to catch a Russian submarine. For that extra propaganda punch, they’ll recruit a boy with one leg for the photo op.
Media propaganda:
1) Since February 24th up until the counteroffensive in early Sept “Ukraine is winning” — by losing territory.
2) The “Russian army is incompetent, disorganised, undisciplined, struggling, poor command, poor performance” yet its territorial gains are the size of the Netherlands and Belgium together. Wait till they unleash the professional Russian soldiers!.
3) and the favourite line….. Russia is running out of missiles and ammo.
POSSIBLE Russian Propaganda
1) Weapons been sold on the black market (evidence of advertisement could have been planted) — why? to deter Europeans from supplying weapons.
2) Arrest of Zelensky’s drug dealer (letting world leaders know he is unstable)
3)
Apparently, you missed this……
https://www.stalkerzone.org/the-second-day-of-enlightenment-how-vladimir-putin-saves-the-ukrainian-people/
“So, we begin to delve into the logic of our General Staff, which for the second day in a row, with short breaks for mass and prayer, nails the critical infrastructure of the neighbouring state with high-precision weapons. I will leave out for now the utter confusion of the G7 and NATO…
Thermonuclear patriots, who last week shed crocodile tears on all talk shows about military failures, political slaps in the face of the Russian state, today soared on pedestals in television studios and count the last days of the existence of the Kiev regime…..
At the SCO Summit, Grandmaster Vladimir Putin, a little reluctantly, explained to the idle public: the operation “energy blackout” in the form of missile strikes on Ukrainian thermal power plants on September 11, 2022, is “We will call it a kind of warning”……
Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Poltava, Kiev, Lvov regions were without electricity. Please pay attention – regions, not regional centres. Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Lvov were plunged into darkness not because of damage to substations, but because the power system itself was being rebuilt and balanced there. There will still be blackouts in major cities, even rolling ones. For the short term, residential areas will not suffer much if the power engineers understand the rules of the game in time….
The nature of the damage invites repair teams to restore some energy facilities very quickly, while others should be strictly avoided. Although a few dozen meters to the left and right … and the damage could become irreversible in some places. But the missiles hit everywhere they were needed: strategic objects (for the most part) remained operational, the main damage fell on regional substations and individual cities. It was there that they sat with kindling sticks and lanterns.
We are reading the most important news from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine: electricity exports to the EU have been suspended. What does this mean? The correct answer is that the burghers will have to … generate the lost megawatts themselves; to find gas, fuel oil, coal, firewood somewhere and blow on windmills. Or adopt more draconian economisation regimes. Looking with unquenchable longing at the Nord Streams undermined by the Americans and Poles. Dripping a mean tear on the list of affected Ukrainian lines connected to interesting cities outside of Ukraine.
Dobrotvor thermal power plant – Zamość (220 kV)
Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant – Rzeszów (750 kV)
West Ukrainian – Albertirsa (750 kV)
The so-called Burshtyn “energy island”, which sends “independent” megawatts to Hungary, Slovakia, Romania. And the Dobrotvor thermal power plant balances the system. The entire complex belongs to Rinat Akhmetov and is isolated from the general energy system of Ukraine. It was in the heart of his empire that the Kalibrs and other precision-guided missiles were sent. So that the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant starts to fill the energy deficit in the central regions of Ukraine, depriving the country of a strategic reserve for generating electricity in case of peak loads.
If the task had been to drive the earth from Odessa to Lvov into the Stone Age, fewer missiles would have been needed, targeting completely different targets. As the Americans did in Serbia, Iraq and Syria. Now, with surgical precision, Ukraine has been put on a prison half-starvation ration, with the exact calculation: there will be enough electricity for the civilian population and key life-support enterprises. Not without economisation, but enough. And you will try again to make a profit with surpluses, for which European countries are churning out weapons … we will “Kalibr-ate” the system again.
Up to complete cleansing of the mind: live according to the needs of the civilian population. This approach became clear on the second day, when missiles flew to some places in Western Ukraine for the second time, meter by meter. With a reminder: reconnect the system in the wrong place, take electricity from your stupid friends – the Poles. Yeah, hold your pocket open wide. The clairvoyants immediately disconnected “Zelensky’s best friend” from their energy system, introduced a horse price tag per megawatt, and announced state price regulation for “vital institutions”.
And here the most interesting thing is that the issue of social stability has clearly started to sparkle. By exporting Ukrainian electricity, the Kiev regime’s oligarchic-power nexus has been holding back the growth of kilowatt prices for consumers for the third month, freezing even inflationary fluctuations. This is a social tacit agreement: Ukrainians (with the beginning of the general energy crisis and the fall in the hryvnia exchange rate) receive electric charity from the state, do not rebel, and work for the war.
With pride and superiority, looking at the Euro-burghers, whose price tags are 10 times higher for electricity. Now it’s necessary to pay, the “energy security cushion” has been pierced in the most cynical way by the Russian “Kalibr”, it’s time to show the bill to the president. First – for the monstrous lie about the “iron dome” of air defence, second – at the expense of what to pay the bills against the backdrop of a paralysed economy and total unemployment. After all, a third of the country is fighting or volunteering, another has fled, and the latter will be forced to ration and economise on everything.”
Your view????
The regime’s official policy is that the people cannot be trusted to handle the truth.
Can anyone post evidence that the Russian govt is or is not arresting Russians who are speaking out against the war?
In February 2022 two well-known TV personalities, Ivan Urgant and Maxim Galkin, spoke out against the war. Both have Israeli passports next to a Russian one. Soon both left for Israel, but quite soon Ivan Urgant returned to Russia (not able to make a living in Israel + not accustomed to the extreme hot weather). After that nothing is heard from him anymore, his career ended, but he was not arrested. Maxim Galkin was in Israel with his family. As a comedian he made fun of Ukraine and its president-clown, so he was banned by Ukraine. His wife and two children returned to an apartment in Moscow (- they used to live in a castle on the outskirts, but this property was sold -), but Maxim Galkin is not welcome anymore in Russia (and is reduced to being an Israel citizen). Now he is trying to make money in the Baltic states, in Carlsbad and in the Russian communities living in Germany. He is still outspoken against the war, an act which has caused his glamourous career to end abruptly. Galkin used to be a boulevard press celebrity, but no one in Russia seems to have an interest in his existence anymore.
Oblomovka,
Thank you so much for your response. A couple of libertarian commentators, Future of Freedom Foundation, were discussing Russian conscription within the larger context of the idea that conscription is a fundamental violation of human freedom which I agree with, and the fact that the US was a massive human rights violator conscripting Americans into the Vietnam War. In the course of this discussion they merely asserted that Russia is arresting war dissenters. I’ve asked them for evidence and I hope they respond.
Dear Mr Johnson,
A couple of days ago, Irina Scherbakowa who has been recently co-awarded the Nobel Peace Price was invited by ARD (a German public broadcast service) to a debate on the war in Ukraine. Here is the link (in German):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUw3JWg5bv4
From min 11:32 Ms Scherbakowa argues that “we have to do all in our power to help Ukraine … (with) weapons too … because there is no other solution …” (“… auch Waffen … weil es gibt ja keine andere Lösung …”) …
Among other topics, both the bombing of the Kerch bridge and the missiles in downtown Kiev came up; however, Dr Claudia Major (https://www.swp-berlin.org/en/researcher/claudia-major) only considers “war crimes” the deaths of civilians in Kiev, whilst she did not even mentioned the civilians killed in the bridge. As regards the current situation on the battlefield, Ms Major suggests troops be shifted from the southern and the eastern fronts to the northwest “to prevent a possible attack from Belarus”, since “Russia can do little to counter” … (“… Russland … kann an der Front im Süden und im Osten gerade der Ukraine wenig entgegensetzen …”). In other words, Ukraine could afford big tactical moves without leaving its guard down. No maps were presented to the audience showing the vast territory that the Ukrainian army would need to cross to safely bring troops to the Belarusian border, and the logistics involved. Considering that the distance between Kherson (South) or Bakhmut (East) and the area near checkpoint Novaya Guta (Belarus) is about 800 km (!), I start having doubts about the skills of this security expert, despite her impressive CV. There is also no mention of the operations around Bakhmut (where Wagner is reported to be operating) …
I will take the opportunity to provide a link to an interview to Mr Harald Kujat, former General of the Luftwaffe who advocates diplomacy over weapons and in order to avoid more conflict escalation, unlike Nobel Peace Prize winner Scherbakowa. Here is the link (also in German, with English subtitles):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quCj5vXLcQ0
Thank you very much for reading and publishing my comment.
Greetings from Germany!
We are known abroad as the Empire of Lies, which I assume applies to the vassal states as well.
Russia will not be able to negotiate any kind of peace agreement or come to any terms with a nation so treacherous as the United States. In times past there was some flickering semblance of trust but no longer the Biden regime having stomped those embers out.
Dear Mr. Johnson, fellow participants,
Save that I’m just another Balkans boy expressing thoughts in poor English, it happens that I’m also a historian, old East European school. Yes, been around here at the time, save 3 years, but that was when Yugoslavia destruction job had been already done.
So, Mr. Johnson would certainly recall, I’d like to point to great flow in US/NATO approach to Ukraine dirt development and present escalation(s). They were, and are, repeating Croatia business. Mass propaganda attack to turn realities upside down relating to causes, also misrepresenting through field reporting.
My point is: USA/NATO do copy pattern of Yugoslavia wars in creation, concept, media use, etc. These undereducated DC folks that presently rule The Land of The Grateful Dead (as I call her these days, drown in sadness, listening “Peggy O”) have thought that Russia learned nothing from Croatian “Operation Storm”. So they’ve prepared Donbass attack, counting on the frozen ground to enable swift success, ethnic cleansing etc. Everything by the book. There’s just one slight problem there: not all old books are good or, at least, valuable.
Nobody in DC really cared to listen or read dear old & smart Professor Cohen (The Nation articles, at least since 2014), Elo**im rest his soul, who was screaming that something else is going to end up than Serbian kill job. If not for other reason, but for Russia as it is and has for centuries been.
Let me be wrong. Perhaps, why not?
Present US foreign policy (includes domestic brainwashing) is just a reflection of Bill Clinton’s free-for-all-of-us-guys policies: in economy, finance, social engineering, foreign policy.
IMHO, Washington Consensus braking down sounds as Ukraine cannons.
And that makes Little Rock, Arkansas high school trained saxophone player one of the most remarkable US presidents. For historians, at least.
Now back to Astana summit news: great history is happening there, in front of our eyes.
These US leaders have learned very little in their pride and arrogance. They, Biden and the Nazis thought they would finish off east Ukraine. Russia and Putin were the compassionate ones who intervened to prevent another genocide. Surprise, the US and NATO got themselves into a whirlwind that is coming back and destroying them, weakening them and creating much ill will and resentment among world nations.
Yep. Krajina and Ukraine even have the same name.
There is a lot of free speech going on over there in Russia for a country that doesn’t have any.
Gilbert Doctorow on how experts, guests and others on Russian political talk shows, are increasingly beginning to question Vladimir Putin’s 4D chess manueverings.
https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2022/10/12/teilmobilisierung-und-demokratie/
From what I was able to gather today, the missile strikes were mostly just another shot across the bow. They were precision strikes, in the sense that they precisely struck targets that would cause a modicum amount of pain for the Ukraine state, but not too much.
No easy feat mind you. Miss by a little bit here or there, and you could accidentally knock Ukraine back to the Stone Age. And that’s the weirdness – and beauty? – of it. Far less missiles would’ve been required to knock Ukraine back to a Stone Age state, than were expended in the last three days to cause relatively minor troubles and disruptions.
Col. Douglas Macgregor thinks the Russians will lauch a massive offensive the minute the ground freezes, and so do I. I don’t think Vlad can stop the process now, even if he is still doing his damnest to do so, because I for one believe that if he tries to intercede in any meaningful way, he will be ignored and/or eliminated.
The way I see it, the Russian Federation is like Secretariat at the Belmont in ’73, flying ’round the turn all alone and heading for the homestretch, his jockey, Ronnie Turcotte, at that point, simply along for the ride.
Hell, Turcotte was along for the ride from the start. His only input during the race, was he whispered to his horse a couple of times before the midpoint, “easy Big Red.”

Your blog is attracting an increasing number of comments, I’ve been reading your work since early at Lang’s site. Thanks to all contributors here!!
One suggestion, could you enumerate the comments similar to MoA. Soon your blog will be seeing 100’s of comments/discussion and it would be nice to come back and review where left off.
To review important history and context this is an excellent (tho long) discussion between John Helmer (Dances with Bears) and Matthew Ehret (Canadian Patriot), who has written extensively on the struggle between forces of empire and multipolar/win-win (Clash of 2 Americas)

Covid-19? No!
Humanity is threatened by a pandemic of stupidity resulting in madness. The source is America.
Fortunately many people have not been infected, but it is apparent that the West is seriously affected.
And core inflation spikes today. I’m a disabled military veteran on Social Security who retired from the FAA. So, an 8% raise on all three of my government checks. How about the rest of you warmongers supporting Ukraine? The Nazi’s going to get you a COLA? Who would have thought that sanctioning a country that produces 40% of all the food, fuel, and rare minerals in the world drive prices up? Amazing! Or that printing money to hand the Nazi’s would increase inflation? Unheard of!!! The idiocy of my own country continues to amaze me.
The Whitehouse accusing Russia of an “imperialist” strategy is laughable. Who has invaded and bombed numerous countries over the last two decades, whenever their currency dominance was threatened? As a Veteran it turns my stomach, and I’m embarrassed when people say: thank you for your service. War is a racket. And the biggest racketeer is sitting in the Oval Office. Kick a neocon!
It’s called projection, and is the base of US foreing policy (and modern Western society).
Forgive me, I took the liberty to correct our President’s remarks. Please find the corrected statements below:
“Over the past decade, the American government has chosen to pursue an imperialist foreign policy with the goal of overturning key elements of the international Law. This culminated in a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in an attempt to topple its government and bring it under NATO control. But, this attack did not come out of the blue; it was preceded by NATO’s 2014 invasion of Ukraine, its military intervention in Syria, its longstanding efforts to destabilize its neighbors using intelligence and cyber capabilities, and its blatant attempts to undermine internal democratic processes in countries across Europe, Central Asia, and around the world. America has also interfered brazenly in Russian politics and worked to sow divisions among the Russian people. And America’s destabilizing actions are not limited to the international arena. Domestically, the American government under most Presidents violates its citizens’ human rights, suppresses its opposition, and shutters independent media. America now has a stagnant political system that is unresponsive to the needs of its people.”
Babylon = Sodomites and the Occult
Revelations 18
After all this I saw another angel come down from heaven with great authority, and the earth grew bright with his splendor. 2 He gave a mighty shout:
“Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen!
She has become a home for demons.
She is a hideout for every foul[a] spirit,
a hideout for every foul vulture
and every foul and dreadful animal.[b]
3
For all the nations have fallen[c]
because of the wine of her passionate immorality.
The kings of the world
have committed adultery with her.
Because of her desires for extravagant luxury,
the merchants of the world have grown rich.”
4 Then I heard another voice calling from heaven,
“Come away from her, my people.
Do not take part in her sins,
or you will be punished with her.
5
For her sins are piled as high as heaven,
and God remembers her evil deeds.
6
Do to her as she has done to others.
Double her penalty[d] for all her evil deeds.
She brewed a cup of terror for others,
so brew twice as much[e] for her.
7
She glorified herself and lived in luxury,
so match it now with torment and sorrow.
She boasted in her heart,
‘I am queen on my throne.
I am no helpless widow,
and I have no reason to mourn.’
8
Therefore, these plagues will overtake her in a single day—
death and mourning and famine.
She will be completely consumed by fire,
for the Lord God who judges her is mighty.”
9 And the kings of the world who committed adultery with her and enjoyed her great luxury will mourn for her as they see the smoke rising from her charred remains. 10 They will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will cry out,
“How terrible, how terrible for you,
O Babylon, you great city!
In a single moment
God’s judgment came on you.”
11 The merchants of the world will weep and mourn for her, for there is no one left to buy their goods. 12 She bought great quantities of gold, silver, jewels, and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk, and scarlet cloth; things made of fragrant thyine wood, ivory goods, and objects made of expensive wood; and bronze, iron, and marble. 13 She also bought cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, wagons, and bodies—that is, human slaves.
14
“The fancy things you loved so much
are gone,” they cry.
“All your luxuries and splendor
are gone forever,
never to be yours again.”
15 The merchants who became wealthy by selling her these things will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will weep and cry out,
16
“How terrible, how terrible for that great city!
She was clothed in finest purple and scarlet linens,
decked out with gold and precious stones and pearls!
17
In a single moment
all the wealth of the city is gone!”
And all the captains of the merchant ships and their passengers and sailors and crews will stand at a distance. 18 They will cry out as they watch the smoke ascend, and they will say, “Where is there another city as great as this?” 19 And they will weep and throw dust on their heads to show their grief. And they will cry out,
“How terrible, how terrible for that great city!
The shipowners became wealthy
by transporting her great wealth on the seas.
In a single moment it is all gone.”
20
Rejoice over her fate, O heaven
and people of God and apostles and prophets!
For at last God has judged her
for your sakes.
21 Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a huge millstone. He threw it into the ocean and shouted,
“Just like this, the great city Babylon
will be thrown down with violence
and will never be found again.
22
The sound of harps, singers, flutes, and trumpets
will never be heard in you again.
No craftsmen and no trades
will ever be found in you again.
The sound of the mill
will never be heard in you again.
23
The light of a lamp
will never shine in you again.
The happy voices of brides and grooms
will never be heard in you again.
For your merchants were the greatest in the world,
and you deceived the nations with your sorceries.
24
In your[f] streets flowed the blood of the prophets and of God’s holy people
and the blood of people slaughtered all over the world

Unfortunately Mr. Lane you can never take back your 15 minutes of “looking like a total jackass” fame.
Sometimes tis’ better to remain silent and appear ignorant than to speak up and remove all doubt.
Correction: Not “15 minutes”. The internet is forever.
One only needs to read the latest Defense department statement to understand who has a load of crap in their pants.

The avalanche of lies will only cease on the battlefield once they bleed out and beg for eternal mercy. Up until then they will continue.
The quality of U.S. propaganda has decreased in my lifetime as its volume has increased dramatically.
Gosh, I remember the good old days of the “Magic Bullet” theory, the “missile gap” and the “Domino Theory”.
Now, that was some choice lying! It took thought and creativity.
The stuff we are shoveled now is so transparently laughable it’s like they’re not even trying anymore. It’s like they’re saying, “Just lie. By tomorrow everyone will have forgotten about it anyway.”
I demand that my government lie to me more convincingly! I’m paying for this stuff and it’s unacceptable!
Larry, couple blog posts previous, you could not point it all out better, its as the man said: “Fella’s. I’m tellin’ yeah, I need more cow bell!”

Wokeness is mentally ill people projecting – nothing more, nothing less.
As someone with mental health problems, I must disagree. There is a big difference between being crazy and being dumb. Wokeness is dumb.
Someone recently compared Wokeness to puritanism, and similar Western traditions (burning witches is old school canceling). In a way, wokeness is just a symptom of declining society. It will be gone once the USA Empire collapses.
The most powerful nation on the Earth is under the control of greedy self centred Clowns, what could possibly go wrong?
Oh, boy. The Ukrainazis must be on the ropes again. You just know that’s the case when that old bar fly Rech shows up (it’s actually H. Reich, “the Third” in fact, but ole’ Heinrich here often leaves salient details like that out of both his posts and his thinking).
Western politicians, military, intelligence have to lie. Lots of people are dead, destitute and suffering.
What are they supposed to say? “Sorry Ukraine and Nazis therein, we were just using you and lying, but don’t be mad, we admit we messed up overthrowing a democratically elected leader in Ukraine in 2014, and okay, we admit we encouraged and ignored Donbass war crimes by Ukraine and I guess the money laundering there by our elites, grabbing all the agricultural land for Monsanto and those fun experiments with bio-weapons Hunter worked so hard on, were you know, maybe not the best thing for Ukraine, I mean, you went from the richest part of USSR to the poorest in Europe…so yeah, sorry, don’t be mad, you know we used a lot of our money to just give you a fighting chance to die for us, think about that, you are dying for good and free people. Anyway, it was nice knowing you.’ – Love, the West.
PS, dear Western citizen, we f-ed up and lied, so um, here’s your bill, no we can’t split it, sorry, have to go now…but thanks eh.
Yeah don’t think that’s happening.
What is surprising, however, though it should not be after Trump presidency and Iraq WMD, is the complete complicity and corruption of pretty much the entire mainstream Western press. France remains the most ‘objective’, followed by countries like Greece and Hungary, then the US. The UK is unbelievably uniform is its lying after K notices were issued to its journalists, Germany basically criminalized opposition to the war.
There is something very wrong in Western society that many at some level feel uneasy about, and I don’t think many had realised how wrong until this happened. Russia’s response and events in the West may be the eye opener the Western public needs to finally make it think the uncomfortable thoughts that need to be confronted, to salvage anything that was once good about the West before it is too late. In this Russia may save once again the West that sought to destroy it.
@ Spirit of the Wind 13 October 2022 at 14:34:
I am sorry but you are not “the most powerful nation on the Earth” if you have to sustain yourself through lies … (going back decades if I may say so) .. If “Putin’s Russia is so dangerous” then why on Earth are people provoking it. Every child who is brought up decently, knows that this is foolishness ..
when one is weak , one have to project image of strength to cover it up
The new Russian General. The gloves come off as we have already seen.
https://strategic-culture.org/news/2022/10/13/general-armageddon-enters-the-ring/
In Germany media always told the story about heroic Ukranian men, all going back and fighting for their country.
And the refugees, only women and children.
And Media were laughing about Russia, where many many men were said to leave the country , to avoid being conscripted.
now , it came up, that 28% of the war refugees are men.
I seriously think they believe there own lies…
The propaganda focused on Russia’s SMO totally hide the iceberg of the incredible victory by russia in every front including the economic and the world relation / alliance which pulled nations out from under US / EU yoke of economic slavery.
Russia (real ppl and IPSO trolls pretending to be russians) in Telegram are lazer focused on the SMO totally forgetting the war is not just SMO but the whole world is the theatre and the stake is higher than just ukraine.
It is obvious from the start russia will win ukraine SMO and only propagandized ppl are still on the fence about this hard fact. It is even more obvious that Russia’s SMO are used by russian strategist to increase the suffering in US and EU economically. The so called “russian slowness ” by propsgandist and doomers / IPSO trolls in fact totally wrong take of the whole situation. The longer russia did this , the more unbalanced EU and US will be economically and in the world stage as more and more nations brazenly / openly stated their rebellion of western slavery.
The next possible escalation will be NATO entering the SMO openly (instead of now using Polack and Baltic soldiers sheepdipped into merc uniforms). Even then russia will win the ground war and further expose the weakness of airpower-focused western military doctrine useless against russia.
Once the US/EU coup in belarus and khazaktan failed (before the SMO) , the west already lost. uS and EU initiate this war / provocation when their military and economy at the lowest point , and they arrogantly think economic pressure will bring down russia. Their ignorance and arrogance are so obvious at the start that victory is almost assured for russia.
Not to mention China and India still 110% behind russia and other asian nations still need russian energy exports
Larry
If you remember during 2006 lebanon war that resulted in IDF embarassing defeat , there also similar albeit smalle propaganda campaign designed to potray IDF as strong and victorious against the hezbollah. I remember watching military bloggers and forums posting pro IDF narratives and bully /ban ppl who stated real battlefield loss and IDF incompetence.
it is not until the books came out sbout the scale of IDF blunder that the propaganda died down slowly , but the propaganda campain succesfully prop up the myth of IDF as superior military force.
Reality however showed that IDF in 90s is just 3rd rate military force unlike the IDF in the 60s and 70s .. They are just colonial force whose experience is harrasing civilians and thus they got steamrolled by hezbollah commandos during lebanon debacle
The same propaganda campaign now exists on larger scale in ukraine SMO.. only fools and idiots believe in russia’s incompetence and losses in ground war.lthat is why so many believe in ghost of kiev nonsense
The lies don’t need to be stopped. The people telling those lies do. Wanking to the truth while you are getting stomped means more stomping.
I haven’t seen anything on the percentage of the population in the “liberated from Russian occupation” towns are deemed Orcs, and liquidated?
The disinformation campaign in the alleged free world unparalleled in our history manages to be a point bigger than any US objective as the great instigator of the conflict. How to disconnect the EU from Russian energy and change the Govt in Moscow to also disconnect China from Russian energy to maintain US hegemony and the current unipolar WO already completely defeated. Just like all the other goals. But almost 8 months of lies in an authentic parallel world of what is really happening in Ukraine impresses anyone.
Now Russia lost more than a thousand tanks in the first weeks of the conflict. And it must have been for the battery-less javelins. It’s hard to believe in the hole of lies in which the West has got into as well as in the EU Ursula has also been guaranteeing for more than 6 months that Russia no longer has missiles and is cannibalizing refrigerators?! Politicians without a shred of dignity and shame in their face who lie at the same level as one of the biggest propagandists of the Kiev proxy regime like Arestovich. For whom Russia also runs out of missiles every week. Better only MI6 and the Institute for the Study of Mental Illness of the Kagan Family in the US.
Does anybody now any Telegram channel(s) where I can track real information (not propaganda) what is happening in Ukraine? The totalitarian regime in EU is increasingly blocking channels so we can’t get any info. Thank you

“As someone who worked first hand on the CIA’s Afghanistan propaganda campaign in 1985-86, I feel somewhat qualified to comment on the scale and scope of the current propaganda campaign intended to whip up support in the West for Ukraine and galvanize international outrage against Russia–it is titanic and it is out of control.”
Given the grapes, nose, outcomes, terroire and vintage, not all would agree.
Some understand that the best marketers of the advantages derived from association with the Russian Federation are “The United States of America”, and given their “sterling service” for more than 50 years including “Soviet times”, which never were, except for a short period in St. Petersburg in 1917″, it would likely be an act of churlish ungratefulness to limit the scale and scope of the current (propaganda) campaign intended by “The United States of America” to whip up support for themselves, since largely they are talking with themselves, and it is often bad manners to interject into the conversations of “families”, another practice which the CIA and some others in the family apparently remain unaware.
“outcomes”
One of the descriptive tag lines being:
The “Central Intelligence Agency” : Pissing the world off and underming “The United States of America” since 1947, despite their belief that they and their associates are “The United States of America”, whilst others are deemed to be merely food sources, human shields, and temporary visitors.
As you are probably aware the “problem” is systemic and the “entity” cannot be linearly reformed despite attempting to gain co-operation of their “allies” through coercion in various forms, although the CIA and others hope that it is not the case, as did certain parties in “The Soviet Union” from 1954 until 1991 thereby acting as force mulipliers in the ongoing transcendence of “The Soviet Union” by the Russian Federation.
Welcome to the amazement of enmazement through complicity.
Listening to CNN, MSNBC, they sound resigned all of a sudden. It’s not Russia is out of missiles. It’s now how to stop them via Patriot and Iron Dome, shit systems that can’t stop a housefly. If Israel somehow gets Iron Dome in there, doesn’t that end mutual cooperation between Israel and Russia in Syria?
John Brennan should be forced to explain the basis behind the intelligence report that concluded that there was evidence that Russia interfered with the 2016 election. What was that based on? The Steele Dossier?
