I am afraid the answer is a resounding, “No!” I hope and pray that I am wrong on this point, but I see no evidence that such a shift in opinion towards Putin and all things Russian is in the offing. The United States and Soviet troops shook hands over the waters of the Elbe River on April 25, 1945. That water is now poisoned. The following scene from the HBO series, The Pacific, illustrates the problem with poisoned water.
A recent Gallup poll reveals the depth of the negative feeling:
Americans’ already-negative opinions of Russia have soured further in the past year, dropping from 15% holding a favorable view to 9%. The current reading for Russia is the lowest Gallup has measured since it first asked about the “Soviet Union” in this format in 1989.
Russia is now the fourth country in Gallup’s polling of country favorable ratings to register a sub-10% favorable score. Iran, Iraq and North Korea have had ratings below 10% on multiple occasions. The all-time low favorable rating for any country was 3% for Iraq in 1991 during the Persian Gulf War.

At the very time that lines of diplomatic communication need to be open and active between Washington and Moscow, the sustained propaganda campaign portraying Russia as a communist, authoritarian state keen on re-creating the Soviet Empire makes it politically impossible for any U.S. political leader to say or do anything conciliatory towards Russia. This is both incredibly dangerous and stupid.
I do not recall any time during the span of the Cold War (1947 – 1991) that relations between Washington and Moscow were so strained. During the Vietnam War it was Russia, not China, that provided the bulk of military aid to North Vietnam:
During the 1950s and early 1960s, Moscow had employed a hands-off policy towards the conflict in Southeast Asia. Premier Nikita Khrushchev, for instance, wanted to avoid yet another nuclear standoff as had happened in 1962 in Cuba. But his successors Alexey Kosygin and Leonid Brezhnev wanted to please the hardliners in the Soviet military and consequently ramped up military aid.
By the spring of 1967, a river of aid was flowing from Russia into North Vietnam.
By the late 1960s more than three-quarters of the military and technical equipment received by North Vietnam was coming from Moscow. Sergei Blagov writes in Asia Times that Moscow contributed weapons essential to North Vietnamese defence capabilities against the American air war, including radar systems, anti-aircraft artillery, surface-to-air missiles (SAMs). “Without this materiel, Vietnamese air defence would have been hardly feasible,” he says.
Russia military supplies completely transformed the nature of the war. Unlike what they show you in Hollywood movies, the Vietnamese did not fight with just cunning and camouflage, they hit the Americans with firepower on a staggering scale. Their arsenal included 2,000 tanks, 7,000 artillery guns, over 5,000 anti-aircraft guns and 158 surface-to-air rocket launchers.
The new weapons – although not the latest in Moscow’s arsenal – were more advanced than the American ones, leading to many battlefield routs of US military forces. American aircraft ran into skies streaking with SAMs and thick with ack-ack salvoes.
Even though the Soviets were indirectly responsible for America’s casualties in that god-forsaken war, Presidents Johnson and Nixon and their national security teams continued to keep the channels of communication and diplomacy open between Washington and Moscow. Those exchanges produced the 1972 landmark agreements — Anti-Ballistic Missile (ABM) Treaty, the first Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty (SALT I), and the U.S.–Soviet Incidents at Sea agreement.
Although the United States was still engaged in Vietnam and realized it was losing, that did not prevent diplomats from both sides working cooperatively to de-escalate tensions and reduce the risk of nuclear war.
American attitudes are hardening and a Russian victory in Ukraine is likely to widen the gulf between America and Russia. Today’s news is ominous. President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia was going to place tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus in response to British promises to supply Depleted Uranium shells to Ukraine. It does not matter whether those shells actually pose a radioactive threat to Russia. Russia perceives it as such and is reacting accordingly.
For its part, the United States decided to poke the Russians in the eye by announcing its intent to meddle in the internal affairs of Belarus, a Russian ally:
The United States is considering the possibility of appointing a special representative for Belarus, who will interact with the opposition [Belarusian opposition],” said Anthony Blinken.

The U.S. hypocrisy is staggering. U.S. politicians and media analysts continue to scream bloody murder about Russian interference in U.S. elections and their feeble efforts to use social media to sway political opinion. Yet, without a sense of irony or shame, the U.S. openly talks about getting rid of the President of Belarus. It is this kind of duplicity that has brought Russia and China together in a historic union.
As long as the United States continues to pursue policies and make public statements that Russia perceives as an existential threat to its nation and people, a war between the United States and Russia appears more likely. I really hope that I am wrong.
I for one take those numbers with a barrel full of salt. They are as believable as Biden having a 38% approval rating.
Any source for these numbers needs to be looked at with suspicion.
I am just not seeing this in my circle of friends and associates. Maybe it is just the people I hang with but it seems unlikely.
The neocons have a stranglehold on the media and frankly nothing from the US should be taken at face value.
The larger point, the neocon led administration of the WH resident is playing a dangerous game, one the Russians have no patience for and won’t suffer forever.
The US is failing, will fail, maybe already failed running out on momentum. I hope we can recover it but we won’t be able to unless we lance that festering boil known as the District of Corruption. If We The People fail to do something soon someone might decide to do it for us and it won’t be pretty.

But must project upon a villain: Ming

To terrify and titillate the tame
American so easily disturbed

Can’t add anything to that.
I believe that the one thing Mittens Romney did get right was that the D em base was rock solid @ 47%. So Biden @ 38% isnt as crazy as itseems. As crazy as it actually is
Same thing with the people I hang with.
Kind of harkins back to the 60’s, when among the young oppressed U.S. minority and working classes, the Soviet system offered fleeting, but in the end lost, hope. Hope is a powerful drug.
I think a certain segment of U.S. political thought has completely given up on the “land of the free” gas lighting, and have fired up the “hope” bowl again with regards to the what appears to be a world-wide conflict (again) for me, of a new generation of wage slaves.
Maybe I’ll live long enough to see how it shakes out.
Cheers!
In my the current situation is unsustainable. Frankly it ran much longer than I ever expected it to.
But everywhere you look in the US you see wealth, farmland and even manufacturers give. All of that IS sustainable in the absence of this lamprey attached to us sucking out our life. Remove the parasite and I think we can rebuild quickly.
We will lose the dollar but who cares? That will be only be a short term hindrance.
We have huge farms full of produce on one end and Publix et-al on the other end and everything necessary in between. We can connect these elements in fairly short order.
Some of us will thrive, those that have something useful to contribute. The gender-studies folks will need to learn how to dig potatoes.
The neocons, well, I’m thinking a peace gesture to the rest of the world regarding that bunch. I think mostnof us here will be able to come up with some compelling ideas.
Totally agree. It’s also doesn’t matter how we feel if that feeling is irrational and not based on facts. The other parties build a belt and road around you and ignore you. They eventually will withdraw diplomats from west and kick out all western interests. They simply don’t need you. Your too much of a liability and provide nothing but trouble.
Agreed.
Now do Americans opinion of America.
Yeah. I am a Brazilian and maybe I have the “wrong” American friends, but most of them don’t see Russia as the villain MSM paints.
This result looks kind of strange to me, unless they got their sample from Manhattan
Those polls had a purpose of course they are fake. The purpose was to showcase how nobody likes Russia. This makes the media’s Neocon bosses feel good. It also keeps Americans less like to protest perhaps or to raise hell during Ukraine funding times.
Stopping Russia and China’s ascent is the ONLY thing that matters right now. These so called neocons (family and legacy) is toast if they are unsuccessful. There’s no where for them to go if the US shrinks and Russia and China become dominant. The elites will be found. Whatever wealth they lay claim to will be stripped from their possession.
This is how you know the recent bank situation is not by design. Sure they knew it would ultimately fail but they don’t want it to happen now. They need it to stay functional until they can ransack and destroy every nation that is not on board with their hegemonic New W Order.
Unfortunately this is why Larry is most likely correct. This is probably going to end in War.
America does not negotiate and does not find accommodations with anyone. What can you do, we are better, bigger, smarter and well, exceptional.
We may decide to let the rats live their lives in insignificant organizations like some no-names like BRICS or SCO or whatever, while at home we are still the best.
Biden and Yellen said our banking system is “sound”. CNN says that Russians are losing so many people in their human waves that soon whatever is left is going to ask for a 404 passport and mercy, of course. NYT says Russia is on its knees. EU just dedicated 3 billion EUR to make artillery shells (where? who cares, they said it on TV). I believe it all. There are no protests in Paris, of course, according to CNN the most important “world news” is the Hotel Rwanda guy. So on and so on.
God, I love living in a place where nothing happens in Paradise while the rest of the world is fighting for scraps living in darkness with no running water or electricity, like e.g. the villages of St Petersburg or Beijing stuck in the 1850s. We are so blessed here under the star spangled something something.
P.S. There is a video on Slavyangrad Telegram channel of Joe Biden on C-SPAN from the 1990s discussing NATO expansion and Russian response. In it he says “Russians tell me that they may look for other partners. I used a local colloquial expression “Good luck in your senior year and you can try the Chinese. If that doesn’t work out, try the Iranians…”.
America esta representada por algo asi como 34 paises. quisas quisiste decir Estados unidos de America que es muy diferente.
On our visits to the US, one of the things that struck us was the total apparent lack of interest on anything happening outside the US from all media. Finding out what was going on, before the net was extremely difficult and most people, even now, don’t bother – just accept what’s offered to them and believe it.
With any luck, or by the grace of God, the degradation of the west will reach a point where it can no longer field an army, or launch a successful volley of missiles. Politicians and the rabble that run them can then be brought to heal by the sane remnant of the population and begin rebuilding a viable nation based on truth and decency. That is my fervent prayer.
Yes, Svetlana. Mine as well. I hope you are safely in Russia as you have a Russian name. If so, I envy you.
I don’t think they can field one now. Over a quarter of pilots are out as unfit for duty, and one can only imagine what the number is among the like of infantry. The cause? Vaccine injuries. The numbers that trickled out of the DOD are alarming. Then they changed all the numbers to show there’s no problem and that the injuries are in a normal range.
Ironic that Biden with the vaccine mandate may have singlehandedly crippled the military, literally. The question is how that affects things going ahead.
Finally some good news concerning the “vaccines.” I’m longing for the day they stop tumbling young kids and athletes and start toppling the vermin who “work” in Washington.
Not so sure that Biden and his shadow handlers did not cripple the military on purpose. If the vaccine was quite possibly a military program as has come to light, what this says about our military leaders is beyond abhorrent.
Yes–literally crippling the troops would be a “feature, not a bug” for #BasementPresident Obama.
I don’t think that they crippled it on purpose. What they DID do with the mandate was to purge the military of free thinkers and people who will stand by principles.
Pfizer is a globalist company and I therefore think the vaxxing was meant to do this damage. On a scale that is historical. One in a thousand dies (excess deaths), and apparently 1 in 4 suffer injuries. The reason I made the damage statement is that the original WEF web site called Agenda 21 stated that it had a policy to reduce the world population by 85%. For months I have been doing a survey (I am Canadian) and asking people if they have heard of globalists. The informed number approximately one or two per 100. And now some countries are reporting precipitous falls in birth rates. Kapish?
Thanks for your comment.
L.
Just as an aside, it’s capisce, not kapish. Unless you’re a Brit, then mangling foreign words along with foreign nations is de rigueur.
Pfizer is a JEWISH company,…
And Pfizer injected the whole of ISRAEL.
…. and I therefore think the vaxxing was NOT meant to do this damage.
That reminds me of the British tourist that arrived at Fiumicino Airport and was greeted by a friend with ‘ciao’ and responded ‘Thanks but I ate on the plane’.
Those damn triphthongs. They’re a hazard to normal folks who can end up tripping over themselves while attempting to use them.
Take Guaido for example.
Your quick survey is interesting . One or two percent of Canadians well-informed : it is likely an accurate picture of our sad situation!
We could even ask randomly to our friends :
Are you acquainted with some independant journalists ( or alternative media)?
Many of them will reply : Yes, I am reading my news on Facebook!!! LOL
Then we can take a look at some woke canadian leader… Everything is coherent, safe and effective! It seems that those who are too well-informed will soon be described as potentially racists and misogynists!!
Canadians will be HAPPY and they will have CBC…
I agree with you about our woke leader, Trudeau. I think it was in 2018 (date is significant as before Covid) there was a charter agreement signed among the captured Western MSM entitled Charter for Reliable Newscasts (or some title similar) that entrenched fake news and coordinated censorship among participants in the Western MSM. Hence out controlled press. Then came Covid, the mandates, vaxxing and more mandates, and all of it either against our Charter or the US constitution. So it even made discussion impossible, and also what was happening in the world remained unreported. And of course propaganda was substituted. And the control was vital to shut down discussion for all the changes now happening.
What most people do not hear is any talk about globalists, and if people are not focused on alternative news sources, they really can remain completely ignorant and most compliant or at least insouciant. So one or two percent of the population can be the scorecard for our declining civilization. And yes, many countries, virtually most of Europe, Canada, the USA and many others have now an element of nihilism in their economic and foreign policies. Perhaps you have heard of 15 Minute Cities, anti nitrogen policies, anti carbon/energy policies, Woke etc. These measures have the goals of transforming and “shrinking” economies and making them “green”. Was the pipeline destruction a geostrategic act or a globalist one to reduce the human footprint on Europe? I think it was both. So Biden and Trudeau are not so much just thoughtless, they are ideologues and represent foreign elitist elements as a MAJOR political movement that endangers all of us.
@Larry P. Johnson
I support your opinion 100%. It is important ( vital ) to stay informed about the Agenda. They want absolute control.
Yes I have heard about the 15 minute cities.. Like creating a modern version of serfdom.. Taxpayers must be obediant, quiet and stay where they are!
Meanwhile, Greta “fake arrest” The laughing Unicorn is traveling to Germany to protest the coal mines and meet her globalist friends/donators. Pathetic!
The best we can do is to spread the information about the WEF around us.
We will NOT eat ZE BUGS!!
Have a good day!
Who are those 2 percent? I want to brow beat them into submission.
I’m thinking the vaxx was supposed to kill way more than it did. It still might, but it only shows me that the enemy is not as competent as we might be tempted to think.
Thanks for the responses.
I worry most about the vaxxing of children – which are Covid immune. This is backed by science but inoculations were still forced on populations. There are too possible reasons for this: 1) increase Big Pharma’s profits, or 2)population reduction. Children are useful for this, both males and females, because it is years down the road before the fertility loss becomes noticeable and and hence more deniable. As it stands now the percentage of still births for vaxxed pregnant women is a huge number. But the greater damage may be some years away when the present vaxxed children reach reproduction age and get married.
Not at all.
The game was to get mRNA into humans in the only way possible.
The destruction of Regulatory Testing was the second objective.
UK just relaxed rules at MHRA to “expedite” drugs to market
mRNA has NEVER worked – now people are stuck with it………but the whole safety system around drug-testing (and costs for Big Pharma) has been up-ended
For the guy below saying that the vaccines weren’t to make this damage. The Israelites did not vaccinate the military…
Militarily speaking thats about where we are now Svetlana, not so sure about relying on the “sane remnant of the rest” as sanity seems nowadays to be in the eye of the beholder, can sheep be sane?
Only sensible solution. Love from Canada.
Speaking of Canada, aren’t you frightened that you’ll be in perpetual indentured servitude to the USA just as Russia, according to Blinken, Shplinken and Know, will be to China?
I mean, I doubt they dreamed up that meme out of thin air after all.
Well, of course with your Freeland gang in charge, you might consider trading perpetual indentured servitude to the US with perpetual indentured servitude to Ukraine. That’d work out well, don’t you think?
Yes, the US worries me because it is increasingly a poor loser subject to temper tantrums.
In 1866 the US Congress tabled a bill to annex Canada, but it was never voted on.
I suspect such a bill would have resulted in a war with Great Britain – so apparently the government was less clownish then.
L.
Yep and another curious figure was Benedict Arnold, who invaded Canada in 1775 but then decided to side with the Brits a few years later for money and spite they say, and branded a traitor in perpetuity.
Yes Lana, there are some us willing to take those steps. I for one will not have grandchildren bury a coward.
We owe them a firm stand and hope we will be looked with favor afterwards.
пожелай нам удачи
1000% Agreed!
The problem with US-Russian relations since 1990 is that the US never has, never does and never will perceive Russia as an equal party in international relations. In their perception, they’ve “won” the Cold War, so vae victis, Russians don’t get a say in anything ever again.
Hence the constant outrage at everything Russia does — anyone who doesn’t put up with the sheriff’s rules is automatically branded an outlaw. Outlaws certainly don’t get to make their own rules and they most certainly shouldn’t even dare to question the sheriff.
I think you’ve nailed it. In the American mind Russia is weak and contemptible and it’s still 1990.
The US approach to Russia since then has been as if it were a 19th Indian tribe to be pacified with treaties of convenience which are meant to be subsequently broken.
U.S. politicians and media analysts continue to scream bloody murder about Russian interference in U.S. elections
“While US media fixated on Russian interference in the 2016 election, an Israeli secret agent’s campaign to influence the outcome went unreported.”
Yet another potential ‘blockbuster’ swept under the media’s carpet to no one’s surprise. Cui Bono indeed.

CONgress at work
The article still infers that Guccifer was a GRU hacker intercepted by the Israelis and passed down the line. Seems more likely it was all an Israeli operation, including obtaining the e-mails. Netanyahu had major incentive for it and all necessary means at its disposal plus little to no threat of being exposed even if caught, that’s pretty clear. Russia?…. eh, not so much I think. Plus an easy fall guy.
Anyway, the Guccifer business flies in the face of the work by William Binney and VIPS, showing that an internet hack of Clinton’s e-mails was impossible and it had to be a direct download.
It’s a mind bending saga. Have I gone off track anywhere on the above?
The US seeks out ‘partnerships’ with anyone that has or has ever had any historical grievances with Russia or China or anyone they can’t manage to control, then nurtures and aggravates those grievances to its own purposes.
That’s their very obvious m.o. to anyone who has cared to think about it for at least 30 seconds.
It’s a one-way street with a 60 mph speed limit and a cliff at the end.
Just plain sick of it.
I am just now watching Judging Freedom and Larry’s interview there.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DvnR3flJlw
He said that the clown show (my words) now cemented in Washington compared to leadership treatment of the Soviets was remarkably different. Today there is a full spectrum condemnation of Russia which is completely enforced with no latitude for talks between governments. In the past there was a measure of communication and cooperation. True, but all wars are economic based and the Ukraine Russo War is no different.
The central countries to BRICS+ are Russia and China. This group is forming a commodity based system (not fiat) that will eventually (probably sooner rather than later) be based on gold and possibly silver. So Russia is attacked to disrupt this process and refuse the Chinese (and, of course Russia) access to the West (NATO) captured puppet states in extending the BRI system from China through Ukraine. Concurrently, the United States and Western allies are undergoing, starting to have, a currency collapse (financial collapse) that is only going to have one likely outcome – a hyperinflation. This will happen in the puppet states of Europe as well.
I think we should also consider that the relationship to Russia in this light is existential for the USA as well. This is the reason the Evil Empire centred in Washington is pushing for war. However, the economic means (dare I say because of Biden’s globalism and outsourcing policies of the past twenty years or more) have seriously undermined the industrial base and hence the means to prosecute a major war. That is a major conventional war. The theme and question here is whether the US government has any understanding of what is ahead for it?
JFK and Khrushchev averted nuclear war by speaking with each other.
It’s the mentality of first graders, where we’re not allowed to talk to classmates we don’t like.
JFK’s policies would today, be considered policies of a rabid right winger.
Oh how times have changed.
How do you want to talk to a mental unhealthy demented senil old man?
The vice president is even worse
That can’t end well in my opinion
How to talk to a mental unhealthy demented senile old man?
Sock puppets?
Double duty ones. “Now show me where you touched her.”
That worked because Khruschev knew he could trust Kennedy at his word.
Would you or any of us here trust Blinken, Sullivan or Nuland at their word?
I excuse Bidet because he makes no decisions, just reads as told.
You can absolutely trust Blinken, Sullivan or Nuland not keeping their word.
it is worse than that, much worse. Through recent actions US leadership has lost any bit of credibility and Russia and China and the rest of the world, excluding the usual US colonies, have finally figured that out. There is no conversation to be had. Sadly, that means only one thing: war.
The west is a victim of its own propaganda – drinking the Kool Aid, so to speak and backing itself into a corner of its own making, – I share your fears.
Consider the recent ICC arrest warrant for President Putin (for relocating Russian speaking Donbass orphans out of the war zone and finding the orphan’s parents!!!). This creates a situation where Russia is being heavily pushed to escalate. Medvedev has stated that if Putin is arrested hypersonics will rain on Brussels and then what?
I can’t see Russia doing that. More likely a tank column daring NATO to try to stop them
Thank you, Larry! I suppose, this episode [A Quality of Mercy] from the Twiilight Zone about Lt. Katell/Lt. Yamuri narrative could be a way to rethink what we are doing…..or it might not.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Quality_of_Mercy
Lubica–Thanks for referencing the Twighlight Zone.
As a child growing up in the sixties the TZ scared the hell out of me. But at least Sirling had episodes showing what nuclear war could do. Other movies also exposed the dangers of nuclear war that at least changed people’s view towards the Cold War. Here’s a few: On the Beach, Fail Safe, Dr. Strangelove, The Time Machine, Planet of the Apes(1st), Colossus the Forbin Project, and for good measure I will throw in The Missiles of October and War Games.
I will also add Seven Days in May to just show how batshit crazy the military could become or has become.
The Twilight Zone was consistently brilliant and thought provoking. That was an excellent episode.
You think the neocon gang have a cookbook called “How To Serve Man”?
Even if our dear rulers decided to propose a peace offering, the Russians are through with the West. Too many bridges burnt. I feel the only way peace would happen is if the NATO forces to stand down and the forces of 404 surrender, unconditionally. Impossible with the clowns in DC.
Color revolution failed in Belarus. Not likely a new one would work with Russian troops in-country.
We’re truly fooked.
The ANGER should be against our own morally bankrupt depraved serial sociopathic lying Government, all branches, rotten to the core who have done more damage to America than any enemy ever could! As far as I’m concerned, we’re talking TREASON here BIG TIME, and for which, the commensurate penalty should be demanded!
Trouble is even your court system, bottom to top (yes, including the Supreme Court) is politically compromised now – so who would bring charges?
Every institution in this country is irredeemably corrupted, monetarily, sexually, politically. There is no center or base or remnant with which to rebuild the lost country.
The fact that Spain has legalized bestiality is the indicator that the West is done.
What color on the Rainbow Flag represents raped animals?
Ffs. This comments threads are regularly marred by comments that show utter incompetence and a ready willingness to spread idiotic right wing media talking pints (the very thing that should be anathema to any reader if this blog).
No, Spain is not decriminalising bestiality. Only a sick racist Anglo idiot would contemplate that thought.
Go and find out what’s what before spouting silliness. It’s the internet, how lazy doe one have to be? Jesus Christ.
These kind of throwaway prejudiced discourse makes me see red.
They did that? Jeez.
As E. Michael Jones puts it, the sole purpose of the federal court is to enforce the will of the oligarchs. The role of the Supreme Court is to come up with legal mumbo jumbo to make the will of the oligarchs the law of the land. And the FBI is the new Cheka.
In my hometown, I have begun labeling lamp posts with a Sharpie.
Well, don’t keep us in suspense. What does sharpie say?
Frankly, all this “looking behind” us, isn’t getting any of us anywhere. Regardless of all those treaties & “communications” , they obviously didn’t work, so why hype them like they did?
70 years is hardly a “long time”, and Soviet Union or not, the US has been warring against some nation somewhere, since I opened my eyes 65 years ago.
The Uk/US/France/Germany/Italy… are all “dogs of war” that need to be put down for good.
Anybody expecting humanity to end their empires & warring ways hasn’t grasped that we all a bunch of “intellectual animals” that constantly need to be held in check lest we utterly destroy ourselves. Which is actually looking more and more probable.
Sorry, but, the past “stuff” didn’t hold or work, no use doing the same thing again and expecting something different. I think Russia has made themselves perfectly clear. They’re not going to do another European war, they’ll go after the Head of the snake this time. And they have allies that will assist. There are many countries besides Russia that view the UK/US axis as rapid dogs that need to be euthanized. There’s no “signing of an agreement “ that means anything now to anyone.
What is the old saying…?
My country right or wrong, if wrong set it right.
Look at house windows as you pass, if the television is on, their minds are off. That’s the power of the empire’s propaganda. One of the best things that could happen is a long power outage, nationwide. It might clarify a few things once the distractions run out of juice.
And yes, Larry, they won’t stop. They can’t stop. To stop means loss of credibility in the eyes of the world. To stop signals the end of the empire. Better to double down today, praying we don’t awaken in hell tomorrow.
“credibility in the eyes of the world.”
The punch line of a joke? A senile, blathering, arrogant old fool placed into the big chair so long as he does what he is told. The Rest of the World can see it, even the scaredy-pants NATO wack-a-moles.
Biden is the most accurate representation of what the United States truly is.
Exceptions, noted.
Trubind1, I agree with your comment, because here in my country, Brazil, the current President Lula, now in his third term, continues to insist on the same mistakes made in previous terms, such as; make deals with the most infamous extreme right in the country and believe that such scoundrels will comply with the agreements signed, which, incidentally, is already happening, because betrayals happen on a daily basis and always with the complicity of the mainstream media that, after all, are spokespersons for the Atlanticist media. Finally, as far as I am concerned, the current Lula government is already dead, as its government abjectly obeyed the order of the infamous Nuland and quickly stepped into the shoes of the Ukrainians, allying themselves at the UN with the USAmericans and their European doormats and, to add to the insult to infamy, over the phone Lula spoke with the clown and Nazi scoundrel who currently pretends to govern the unfortunate Ukraine.
We in the West are experts at cutting off our nose to spite our face. Our current actions are illogical based on the premise of free democracies working for the benefit of their populations, something many are seeing as the complete fallacy it is.
Seems to me our leaders in the shadows would prefer a scorched earth policy on home ground rather than concede a modicum of world power to the Russians and Chinese. Can only assume they would rather rule in hell than be ordinary in heaven. As such believe the world will split into two camps, the Russian/Chinese one may not be the nirvana some believe but it will still be better than the totalitarian utopia that awaits us.
I agree. In the eighties I spoke with a black physician who lived in South Africa about the ending of apartheid and who will rule afterward. When I mentioned some of my misgivings about the ANC, he said ” I would rather live in my hell than your heaven”. It seems that the US government has adopted the saying.
Short of war – and that is something I do not think the Wall Street warmongers are willing to risk since it will mean their properties, families, and most importantly their stock holdings and bank accounts being reduced to radioactive ash- I absolutely hope there will never be a rapprochement. Russia has just woken up from its 4 century long infatuation with its Western enemies, who are also our enemies, and returned to the bosom of the East. It must not fall into the trap of ever thinking positively about the west again.
Yes – and for all the nonsense talk about driving Russia and China together – they’ve had friendly trade relations since 1689. And we’re talking as if this is something “new.”
They’ve always been there, not just geographically, but in trade as well. And, after few hundred years, they seem to know how to manage relationships in that part of the world. Asia never looked at Russia as a target or a country to take over, but the Europeans always have, with the UK and others trying during the Russian Revolution. Imagine, the UK conceited enough to think it could take over Russia. Demented. Asians are more nationalistic, which also implies less imperialistic, exceptions being Japan and the Mongols.
Wrong. What they’ve done is unprecedented. Russia and China are in the process of creating a new world order.
A world order with China having the say is a hell on earth. The Russians must know that and any arrangement with the damn Chinese must be temporary.
So sad, Russia and the US are natural allies. I don’t understand the elements in the US govt that are opposed to good relations with Russia. IMO, the neocons are evil money grubbing traitors and they are on China’s payroll; the Bidens and Swallwell being but two exmamples. The bat munching eel, blood drinking techno-autocrats (the CCP) are playing all sides against each other so the Han can emerge all powerful and provide for their billion and half racist drones. The US is right to oppose China in every way short of overt war and should be aligning with Russia, if, for no other reason, than to keep the ant colony down. Though there are ample other reasons the US should seek partnership w/ Russia.
“A world order with China having the say is a hell on earth”
They already do, they have veto rights at the UN.
“Russia and the US are natural allies”
LOL the former a country that adheres to international law and looks out for the interests of it’s cultured and educated citizens, the latter a third world shithole full of burger munching, obese, ignoramuses. Yeah a great fit for each other.
“….bat munching eel, blood drinking techno-autocrats (the CCP)…”
The racist bigot strikes again.
Long exhale, long exhale… Yep, back to the sane commenters.
Eric, that is the problem of the whites. They are intelligent, but always fighting each other. Romans with Celts. English with french. Vikings… Read about Scandinavian history.
Freedom hating grrr still working on building his Chinese social credit score with a little moral posturing and virtue signaling.
Dude, the Chinese are about as racist as a racist can be. They aren’t destroying their Han identity by letting in a bunch of third worlders, like the US and Europe are doing.
And I’m not talking about UN veto power. I’m talking about coercing everyone in the world, by hook and by crook to follow their top down, autocratic, hive mind society that lacks true individual rights.
It’s like you tried swallowing the red pill and choked on it. You rightly understand The Powers That Be are lying to you about a lot of things, and that’s great, but then you think they’re telling you the truth about China! They are lying to us about everything, full stop.
Eric, you imply that the US and Europeons are weakening their bloodlines with Third Worlders and then castigate the Chinese for not wanting to do the same. Sounds like you did a racism. If the Chinese (and Japanese) want to be “racist”, that’s their right. Apparently you agree with their logic.
Wow. You’ve lost it there Eric.
China has never done anything to the West. Contrast what the West has done to it. See opium wars for a start.
It has on the other hand made huge contributions to the world, forget art of war or any of that, even gunpowder and guns they invented but tossed away as a dishonorable way to fight. They respect their elders and work hard. Hate them for that.
So if we are looking at points China is way ahead on least likely to fuck up the world.
China may have a billion people, but it’s the third largest country in the world right? Yet Europe which is diddly squat tiny piece of mud has shitted out over 1bn people who violently occupied 4 continents and consumed and continue resources like locusts and pollute and kill the most.
So maybe take the blinkers off for 5 minutes. The Chinese are far more civilised than the frog, pig, hormone meat, GMO, non binary snail eating, children murdering descendents of Europeans.
With Eric Newhill every day is hell on earth.
Why do I feel like a citizen in Stalinist USSR then. Why do the leaders of China, Russia and India sound like rational individuals that make sense when western ones spouting pathetic unbelievable lies about everything imaginable. Why would Russia unite with that bunch.
Can’t be any worse than the hell on Earth America brought Russia in Ukraine.
Russia and US are natural allies? That horse left the barn long ago, and kicked the farmer in the head as it bolted.
And why exactly? So they can run roughshod over the world together? The US suitor tried that decades ago already, with a pledge for servitude it was sure Russia could not resist. Russia spurned it, so as all spurned lovers are prone to do, it turned to another, in this case Ukraine – probably strictly out of spite and vengeance.
How’s that for a soap opera?
if, for no other reason, than to keep the ant colony down.
Jeez, what a plain vanilla racist you are, Mr. Newhill. Don’t worry so much. Washington can always cajole Japan into invading China again to thin out the colony. My head’s already spinning with the possibilities.
PS: Did you have nightmares over the pod people too?
The War Party has isolated itself from 87% of the world. Given that the Federal Government Budget is 50% funded with debt – economic collapse is only a question of time.
If I relied on a gov‘t pension, I would sure be figuring out a secondary source of safe retirement income. Federal Pensions will have nil buying power in a decade.
The NWO is already there! The US had vetoed Iran’s ostracism as a pariah country and Russia and China have just redeemed it for the great geostrategic chessboard. One of the greatest powers in the Middle East! And the same with Vnezuela tomorrow! No more unilateral sanctions under Washington rules! With China dumping US bonds on the market! Bonds of world reserve currency! What is this if not an NWO? Economic and financial too!
Where there is too much excitement, which usually leads to deception, is thinking that the West with great technological centers and where 50% of the world’s wealth flows, is already lose all protagonism! Will not! The world doesn’t work like that! And I even believe from the beginning of the SMO that what many call the slowness of the SMO is really related to the fact that Russia wants to see the western economies more degraded to impose its proposals of December 2021! And immediate end of sanctions in the end of conflict!
Or perhaps a return to an older style of world order based on nation states rather than a single hegemon. They definitely want a change in the existing world order, and the changes seem to be along the lines of most of the world opting out of the existing setup to join one that could be, ironically, more democratic as it supposedly (and we’ll see how it actually shakes out) respects each nations integrity.
Over history empires come and go, and in their waning days it’s more of a case of various groups leaving the game as it doesn’t work anymore. Whether Macedonians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantium, Holy Roman
Empire, Ottomans, Spain, Portugal, Dutch, Austro-Hungarian, British, they all came, got to some size, and fell apart as others either just left, or joined together to replace them.
Marx had one thing right, the dialectic. Each system contains the seeds of its own destruction. So generally is it unprecedented in principle, or just scope, or that these two in particular are leading the charge? In the past, it’s generally been a new group or assembly of groups that make the big shift, so almost all would be “unprecedented” though often the circumstances leading up to the change tend to follow a pattern of sorts.
I must beg to differ on your statement “Asia never looked at Russia as a target or a country to take over,” For quite a few decades now there has been, in Siberia, an ongoing problem of migrating Chinese… and let’s not talk of the highly polluted rivers on the border between the two countries. The Chinese in this instance are a lesser evil for the Russians to deal with whilst the withdrawal from the west / re-orientation towards the rest of the global community is underway.
Ever notice that China is exempt from green/gobal warming/carbon tax BS. That China is the ultimate beneficiary of Black Rock et al investment schemes?
To dismiss China’s machinations to control the world’s resources, economies and social structures as a right wing conspiracy theory is foolish. Too bad people here are more for the freedom hating Chinese than their own countries. Lost souls blinded by hatred.
The New American Revolution is apparently merely to succumb like dumb gullible cows to autocratic governance by the Han ’cause China nice and peaceful and only want a better world for everyone everywhere. Wow. What an intelligent and awesome vision. Count me out.
What a collection of tools has assembled here.
Eric, your replies are inconsistent in both linguistic style and logic, like a schizophrenic…or a bot collective. You’re not an individual, are you? If you are…is that you Joe?
You, as an American (I really think i should be using the plural with you), I thought you would buy into the ‘free’ market. China is competing fairly in the global economy and it seems that boils your piss. The US in contrast is like a mafia business that burns down a competing store because it offers better value. The Chinese ‘machinations’ you speak of, can you compare and contrast with US business practices so we can get a flavour of what you mean? I can’t help thinking of Major General Smedley Butlers bitter reflections on his military career as ‘muscle’ for corporate interests. In that context your outpouring seems like a classic case of projection.
Eric, your replies are inconsistent in both linguistic style and logic, like a schizophrenic…or a bot collective. You’re not an individual, are you? If you are…is that you Joe?
He’s that guy that edits wikipedia articles 24/365 for political correctness. Tremendous stamina that guy has.
John Connor is exactly the kind of name a Chinese info op guy would select to sound like he’s not Chinese. Your comment is nonsense. Are the damn Chinese exempt from the carbon taxes, etc or not? Answer the question.
You’d know a lot about “bot collectives” because that is what China tries to be.
Lay off the tiger penis and rhino horn, you’re merely killing beautiful animals in a pathetic – and failed – attempt to be what your typical America is naturally.
The world hasn’t worked like this for a long time! In that order of ideas, Russia had never re-established relations with Germany! And not so long ago it was its biggest ally in the West. To be frank, the only that counts for Russia!
Indeed, not long ago Putin received a standing ovation in the Bundestag! Because of a new European security architecture that had never allowed this war. Very identical to Russia’s proposals in December 2021! Saudi Arabia itself is only changing sides out of financial interest! What makes countries move today!
I like to think that eventually the US is “digging” the end of NATO and the EU itself in Ukraine but I can’t guarantee that it will happen either! Soon we will see the turns that European countries will take with new Govts. But one thing is certain, neither China nor Russia will abandon the European market because of a conflict! Just read Xi’s article in the Russian media on the eve of his visit to Moscow!
https://english.news.cn/20230320/208baba76dc14ed78d308bfa32b9d4e2/c.html
Just to finish the reply, the economies economies will never again close like they did 5 centuries ago! One thing is to admit that the center of the world has actually changed, and that’s just as well! It was good that it definitely represented the end of the colonies! But this does not mean that the center of the world is once again fixed in one country, otherwise we would continue with a unipolar world, as happened after the fall of the Berlin wall!
Because whatever people think of the USSR played an invaluable role as a balancer in a much more balanced world. Just think that none of the US energy wars had ever been possible! And the same for the war in Yugoslavia and the Arab Springs just to overthrow those who did not collaborate properly with the West. Now gather the dead and the millions of refugees. Besides, the Saud family fief never forgave the Iraq war.
Indeed if the US was wrong in the last 30 years it was in the way it identified the axis of evil for its wars on terror! Almost certainly on purpose and instead of looking for Bin Laden in Afghanistan they arrested the friend of Bush, Prince Bandar who lives in Washington. A favor they were doing to the current Wahhabi King. That said, I believe in the redemption of all countries and all peoples! And it was good that we could all live with each other without big resentments in a multipolar NOW!
Who cares about being number 1? I don’t. Center of the world is just returning to where it had been for most of human history: China.
Those that are not number 1.
Stop taking pills, doesn’t matter if they’re red, blue, green , pink or purple. Pills fuck with your head and send you to out of control extremes.
Nothing is ever all this or all that, but pills make you perceive that it is that way. Junkies always think they’re convincing and clever, but just sound like addled loser to sober people.
Oh look – MacGregor is now saying what I have been all along. He is tired of Russia’s economy of force approach and thinks Russia needs to get serious after miscalculating.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8CmJfQLFqs
Now you can call Macgregor a crazy moron deep state troll because he disagrees with you
Excellent comment. You absolutely nailed it. Russia must never go back trying to appease their sworn enemies, again. That would be a major blunder of historic proportion. The four centuries, you mentioned, precisely covers the time frame the Anglosaxons with assistance from their Khazarian teammates had managed to cordon off Russia’s southern flanks, particularly holding the illiterate, disease ridden… former Persia – today’s Iran – into perpetual state of unbalance and status quo. Hopefully, with increasing strategic cooperation among Moscow-Tehran-Beijing and implementation of the North-South, BRI corridors, we will witness the official end of the Anglosaxon/Khazarian WO, soon. And believe me, Iran of today is not like the former Persia.
“You absolutely nailed it. Russia must never go back trying to appease their sworn enemies, again.”
That “appeasement” never happended, although the opponents believed that it did happen from circa 1992 until 1995, when they screwed up even more by having Mr. Yeltsin re-elected which was part of the point of the Yeltsin-Zhirinovsky roadshow performances, facilitating the growth from infanthood of The Russian Federation to a growing flexing of muscles.
You may believe that seeing is believing as you illustrate, but believing is never seeing except of your own expectations/projections.
That would be a major blunder of historic proportion ?
Thank you for increasing the noise/signal ratio and acknowledging the continuing half-lives of some illusions over the last 31 years.
I live in a mostly conservative northwest Florida. The masks are long gone except a few scared old folks and the few hardcore lefty’s brave enough to wear them. Also gone are the Ukraine paraphernalia crap flags and signs. What is still present is a populace that believes the msm narrative that Ukraine is winning and Russians are dying 3 to 1 ratio. The deep state is winning in America with the narrative for the most part. That’s extremely problematic.
I suffer the same ignorance in Virginia, Don. I have yet to find one person that fully understands what has happened in Ukraine or where the end results are leading to. A part of the problem is the large government and military, retired and active duty families. Rural Virginia is very patriotic whereas the cities tend to be very liberal. Looking at the voting results show that. Large cities blue and rural areas red.
I have tested the waters with conversations about Ukraine and Russia, it came as no surprise the rural country people absolutely think Russia is still the Soviet Union and Putin is the spawn of Lucifer. The educated people surprised me…completely the same line of thinking as the rural people.
Final analysis is that regardless of party politics the Virginian population, and probably the U.S. population as a whole are ignorant of world events, world politics, and have a complete lack of critical thinking. Their minds have been entirely programmed by the news media and television.
Pretty much all of Florida is mask-free, as I understand it.
7 years straight of the #RussiaGate psyop has destroyed a great deal of critical thinking in this country.
👍
Double thumbs up!
Critical thinkers have been ( and will always be) censored by the MSM, Big Tech and the self-proclaimed progressist philanthropic organizations… So now, we are being told that critical thinking is achieved by attending gender study university classes! LOL
However, we can make our own decisions and stay away from all this mess : that is why we are reading Sonar21 on a daily basis!
Have a good day! And thank you Larry!
Our leaders, love em or hate em. In times past used to at least be adults.
Nowadays we are run by infants. They set policy according to hashtags, yet the Chinese think in decades.
Very sad.
I haven’t heard anyone say anything detrimental to Russia. I have talked to a couple that think the Ukr will be launching a big deal and take them all out and end this nuisance, so they must be tuned in to the media.
Kennedy had advisors for the Cuba crisis. Johnson for Vietnam. Nixon as well. They still worked toward what was best for our nation by comparison to Old Joe that doesn’t seem to follow through. Does he remember yesterday any longer?
I watched the admiral Larry was asked to consider by the Judge. He has that too long stare of someone that doesn’t allow others to question his inner mind and outer limits. That kind of vibe you get that makes you feel like backing away slowly but firmly, not taking your eye off the snake even if you trip you are tripping backward and away from the snake which is still better than any other alternative until you can get to the door and flee. Worse than the two generals reading policy they didn’t write or believe in talking about how great everything is going on in 404 when they can get the lights to work.
Just who could have a hold on our government to make them lie like presidential spokes persons?
The most terrifying fact of this conflict is precisely the consequences of a Russophobic disinformation campaign the likes of which no one has ever seen in the West. And any living journalist confirms this fact. And it didn’t just start on February 24 last year. Began for the collective West to legitimize the coup d’état in Kiev in 2014. When the EU legitimized a coup d’état, Where emerged the first interim President – Oleksandr Turchinov – whom the EU itself had already condemned for being openly neo-Nazi! In 2019 the EU passed an infamous resolution to blame both Russia and Nazi Germany for WWII! 77 years after WWII. 77 years after World War II. With many of these 77 years celebrating the victory over the Nazis together! And a year later the EU stopped condemning the glorification of Nazism at the UN! In an age when journalism itself is completely dead and buried in the West, unlike the Vietnam War era when Sy Hersh won a Pulitzer. Today, after more than a dozen awards, it is not published in the main US newspapers, gentlemen! Neither resonated in the rest of MSM. But on the contrary, muffled!
What more proof do you need of the dire effects of this Russophobic propaganda campaign, that Europeans are passively accepting of their own economic suicide? Because that’s all it’s about today! Economic warfare! The war in Ukraine was provoked with the primary aim of disconnecting Europe from Russian energy, which the US has achieved at least so far. That is, taking Europe hostage, despite the complaints about US gas being much more expensive and much more polluting! And with second purpose of trying to overthrow Putin and take Russia’s natural resources and hit China that way too! Objective that the US will no longer be able to achieve with the defeat in the conflict more than evident! But in Europe, even after Borrell admitted that all of the EU’s growth in recent decades has depended on Russian gas and trade with China, the overwhelming majority won’t even hear about restoring relations with Russia!
Even in countries where I had never noticed Russophobic waves! People keep blaming Russia for the conflict in Ukraine, full of pity for a country that attempted genocide on part of its own population! And there is no point in showing any real evidence that completely denies all the Russophobic MSM propaganda! Not even accepting that the US blew up the gas pipelines changes anything in anti-Russian sentiment! If the US is gaining anything in this conflict, it’s Western heads! Against his own life, which I already thought impossible in an age of so much individualism! And my point is, with voters like that, the Govts don’t need to go out of their way to do what’s right! When still 30 years ago in Germany, for example, the act of treason because it has no other name, already had put Sholz out a long time ago! And called new elections! Which I honestly still believe will eventually happen in most European countries. It remains to be seen how Europe’s economy will be next winter. As for any nuclear conflict, I think that both Russia and China are mature enough not to listen to crazy people like Lindsey Graham. That he must clearly be interned in some madhouse!
The anti-Russian thing didn’t start in 2014. I’m 68 and Russia/USSR has been evil incarnate my whole life. It’s now a generational trauma wired into most ‘merkans. Gonna have to hit bottom before anything can get rewired.
Get right with your life, with your death, with those around you and stand with your integrity. This ship is going down; it has to so that others might have a chance after.
Kurukshetra. The Mahabharata.
More Hybrid war? Yes. [The Col. Lang option communicated in Feb. 2022]
US Kinetic war against RF? poor to nil.
Nuke War? nil.
SMO always an anti-terrorist operation; & that is what US does — state terrorism; our military is not built for kinetic war against RF, period.
1] Screaming and BS and Bluster sums up US Foreign Policy, the borg.
2] State Terrorism sum up our military capabilities.
3] War Crimes and Incompetence sum up our White House & NSA.
Which put in relief another gaping wound in US power against say RF: These three power centers are not, shall we say, in sync.
Meanwhile, France is burning, and who knows where this will end; UK protests & inflation galore; Swiss run amok, lost its neutral status; Germany lost Nord Stream and its government failing; Poland wants Galicia and will stab everyone in the back to gain this; Ukraine is being demilitarized and deNazified. USA — who is actually in charge? Depending on which source, Trump is going to be arrested, ditto Biden. It’s a Gong Show. Maybe Jerry Springer will run for prez? He’s 79, Trump’s 76, Biden’s 80.
How many US Admirals will risk losing even one of their ~20 aircraft carriers on what would be a veritable vanity project? Zero, I would imagine: their hubris alone won’t allow them to take risk to lose these big toys, that makes them feel special prestige. Which Army General will be the first to lead boots on the ground over there? Zero. And if one or two do — what happens when they are immediately killed — or taken prisoner? send another dozen generals to be killed and captured? Don’t think so.
US gov. don’t want cease fire and can’t fight kinetic war against RF; that leaves more of the same: more US Terrorism instead — Hybrid War.

I am not talking about everybody but, there is a lot of cowardice in my country. I know of people who don´t just succumb to the mantra of BS, the feel safe it it. Defeat in Ukraine and a further unravelling in the EU will put a crater in the place where the choir and it´s conductors used to operate.
Once the rounds get much closer to home people will fold fast. Once they start screaming for help and the Pink Pussy Battalion and the Trans Brigade are no shows in the face of real danger and death, it´s going to come down quickly. I think things can get better and am starting to perceive that they are in the US. However ……………………. this will be very far from painless. My take.
I wish well to all.
I believe it all comes down to Biden being a sick puppy. But then again just about everyone having power in Washington D.C. and NYC are sick puppies.
back to the big bad wolf huffing and puffing piece . the big ? is now the pigs have brick houses, what will the BBW do ?
I guess we are going to have to learn the hard way
Do you ever get wonder whether the desire to send so much equipment and materials to Ukraine is an attempt at revenge for Moscow supplying the North Vietnamese?
No.
The easy answer is no, no accommodation. The US as it is operated now is a a narcissist, it has to be right, it has to be in charge, and it can’t admit any failure or wrongdoing. The key characteristic of the narcissist is that it’s driven by a powerful underlying insecurity.
The US has never truly gone it alone through its history, always riding coattails. In the Revolutionary was and 1812-14 it was hitting the English when they were preoccupied with wars with the French. Sure, they picked on some easy to beat enemies like the Indians and the Mexicans and Spanish, but they’ve never gone nose to nose with a peer. Russia has, whether the Mongols, the Golden Horde, Napoleon, the Ottomans, and Germany twice. And they’re still standing, the biggest country in the world by more than double, even after giving up some former territory.
Russia does not have the innate insecurity the US has. It also has something the US doesn’t have, a long history of having to stand on its own. The US hides behind NATO against China and Russia, and when they try to go it alone against what should be easy targets, they fail, whether the middle east, Korea or Viet Nam. There is no history of enduring hardship facing tough odds, just a deep insecurity from never having proven itself on its own. French assistance made the difference in the Revolutionary war, and in 1812-14 a stalemate despite Britain being tied up chasing Napoleon. They couldn’t seal the deal.
The country grew rich and powerful because of geographical isolation and lots of resources. And breaking every treaty with the natives along the way. Rich and powerful, sure. Great? Not so much. And now the “rich” part is coming unglued.
Narcissists never change because they see no need to. That’s where we’re at. And for those worried about WWIII, it’s a legitimate concern as this disorder is prepared to go to the wall rather than admit defeat, failure or mistake. Ironically, Trump, a narcissist who is a nationalist, seems the best hope, as Desantis gets support from Soros organizations.
Nationalism is the cure as it isn’t imperialistic. Imperialism isn’t amenable to accommodation, so no chance of that with Russia. The learning will be the hard way, whatever that looks like.
“The easy answer is no, no accommodation. The US as it is operated now is a a narcissist, it has to be right, it has to be in charge, and it can’t admit any failure or wrongdoing. The key characteristic of the narcissist is that it’s driven by a powerful underlying insecurity.”
Mac…it goes even deeper than what you have stated. There is an equal or greater degree of arrogance that exudes from the old world power brokers of Europe. These people have been in control for so long, they consider themselves untouchable, infallible, and above God. For those that have no God…well, it makes no difference, these power brokers still consider themselves above you. The control is in Europe and the muscle is in America.
As these power brokers begin to feel threatened and insecure, as you mentioned, they will become more desperate in their actions. Listen to the words that come out of the mouth of Macron, Johnson, Scholz, Milley, Blinken, Stoltenberg, and more. How can the educated leaders of Europe and the U.S. be so foolish if they were not under the influence of these power brokers. For them to purposefully foment a war that they know will destroy their native countries is astounding to me. It tells me they are as corrupt as is possible, or entirely ignorant leaders.
Good additional points as it exposes the Nazi/elitist roots of all this mess we’re in. I believe you are correct in where the roots of this rotten system lie. The narcissistic characteristic of the US makes it easier for the WEF/Davos types and old world money to control as narcissists are fairly easy to manipulate.
If those depleted uranium munitions the UK is sending to Ukraine, poses no dangerous radioactive radiation threats, then most likely Russia will also deploy only its environmentally friendly version of tactical nukes, in Belarus and elsewhere. The Green nukes could even help fertilizer for example UK’s agriculture/farming sectors thus boosting the island’s milk productions, crops…etc.
No. Russia has decided years ago to supplant DU with tungsten in its shells.
Yes of course Russia did that. But UK/US keep saying DU has no side effects. Whom are trying to fool?
I watched the series and remember that episode . it was on the history channel.
the only way that i think an acommodation can be reached as as much as i dislike these guys; only if trump or desantos are in office with some new unpoisoned blood in their cabinets.
I believe DU ammunition is already prohibited because of its chemical toxicity, irrespective of any other environmental or radiological properties.
Re DU rounds, I posted this comment on Andrei Martyanov’s site a couple of days ago:
It seems the residual radiation of DU round is so low as to not be a concern for normal handling.
The problem is that after use, the impact of DU round with steel, etc., converts much of the solid DU into dust. This U dust when inhaled, is toxic in its own right, and when embedded in human tissue it is carcinogenic. Does it matter whether it’s carcinogenic because it has residual radioactivity or simply because as a metal dust it is toxic, or both?
Either way, it is toxic and carcinogenic.
Toxin is a synonym for poison.
Poison and poisoned bullets are prohibited by Article 23 of the 1907 Hague Convention IV Convention respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land which states:
“In addition to the prohibitions provided by special Conventions, it is especially forbidden –
To employ poison or poisoned weapons…”
Bottom line as I see it:
The objections to DU ammunition on environmental and/or radiological grounds are misguided (not wrong) and unlikely to be effective. However, taking into consideration the known chemical toxicity of uranium dust, I believe DU should be more accurately described as a poison or poisoned weapon and prohibited under the 1907 Convention.
Objections on the basis of toxicity with reference to the 1907 Convention, notice to potential users that the use of poison weapons has been prohibited for over 100 years, that their use is a war crime, that, if used, there WILL be prosecutions, is likely to be more effective.
Come to think of it, both Serbians and Iraqis appear to have a strong case against the US and UK under the 1907 Convention.
If people choose to believe in fairy tales they will get fairy tale endings, those of the Brothers Grimm, not the Disney kind they are expecting. I’m not familiar with all of the brothers collected stories but I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t a tale about the perils of victimhood
The new global power alliance is clear eyed, hard working and not prone to wallowing in self indulgence. The Western population has turned into a whining bunch of gullible idiots who will believe any fantasy their malignant leaders spin them.
They will get what they deserve and sooner than they expect.
I’m not feeling very charitable today.
I like Wilhelm Bush and his Max and Moritz story
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ngd3zohpvFM
Max and Moritz pushing it to far and end badly
Same will happen to the US
How wonderful to see Max and Moritz again! My father used to read it to me, in the original German, when I was a child. Beautiful memories are very welcome at this terrifying juncture. Thank you!
Pretty much, the gobbling up bit.
Military cemeteries are growing in Ukraine, but Ukrainians continue to believe that they will return Crimea, Donbass and defeat Russia. They are ready to pay a high price for dismembering Russia into small pieces, especially when a neighbor pays with his life, but not himself. What will happen, what will the World get if, hypothetically, the Ukrainians achieve their goal, and Russia disappears – no one thinks.
How many Ukrainians must die in order to reach the threshold of pain and admit their powerlessness?
This is practically unattainable, because the media in Ukraine and throughout the West is a pain reliever. Under anesthesia, people go under the surgeon’s knife in the hope of waking up healthy and few people understand that the surgeon removes their organs for sale.
The most cruel enemy of mankind is a false narrative.
👍
Absolutely right Gera! It’s absolutely surreal! We have to admit that the US is an unstoppable propaganda machine. Even after Colin Powel at the UN! Even after all the wars in the world, they managed to turn Russia into a man much easier to malign than an entire nation of millions! A very basic propaganda trick. In the West this is Putin’s war who is a sick dictator and a terrible oligarch responsible for all the pain felt in the West as the generalized increase in prices! And Ukraine is a land of saints! And even people I know who graffitied the walls with NATO GO HOME in their youth are now Ukrainians from birth! Do what? Win the war and change the World Order based on US rules. What is Russia doing!
In my opinion and as I said to Gera also with some mistakes in between. Russia should not have allowed an external US intervention, even on its border! Because it was NATO that invaded Ukraine first and the coup d’état should have been easily avoided by Russia. Just like last year in Kazakhstan! And after the Nuland audio leak on you tube no one in the world was surprised to see spestnaz patrolling the streets of Kiev! Which is what should have happened! I wanted to see where Nuland and all the neo-Nazi rats fled! When Yanukovych was still in power, Russia had the home address of every far-right neo-Nazi leader in Ukraine! Should have fucked them all! Preferably at a meeting with Lindsey Graham and McCain! And pardon my French!
And I’ll give you another example. Russia has complained for years about missiles in Poland and Romania and rightly so! Why not do like Khrushchev and deploy missiles in Cuba? It worked once because bullies only listen to the voice of force! And I will say something else that may not be the same for everyone. For me, when Russia does not accept missiles in Poland and Romania, it is preserving the security of all Europeans. But with this propaganda campaign, many Russophobes don’t mind seeing Russia surrounded by missiles in the Black Sea and still think it’s for their safety!? And what I already understand is that it is completely impossible for Russia to win over all western media platforms. Completely impossible. That’s why I think Russia should have been more astute in conflict prevention than it is now in healing, often asymmetrical wars! Russia should have forced the US to withdraw the missiles many years ago! All the best to you Gera!
Leaders?
They are no leaders!
Sorry to say, but they’re stupid, loosing bullies. Filled with irrational hatred.
No good will come of that. Only a punch between the eyes and a very large nosebleed.
Here’s a news story we’d all like to see:
Belarus is preparing a pseudo-American puppet government.
“Belarus is considering the possibility of appointing a special representative for the US, who will interact with the opposition,” President Lukashenko said yesterday. “The oppositionists who fled the country (following the election of the senile dementia patient Biden) do not try to hide their plans for the US Ameromaidan.”
Remember folks, you read it here first.
Two things I always have with me when I leave my home. My flag with a Z and a Soviet Victory Banner.
It’s surprising buying groceries and looking to the other register and others now are also wearing similar. Cars have the windows painted with Z.
We love our nation, we love our soldiers and we love our President. When you love enough there’s no room for hate. United Russia
Let’s shout everybody “Heil Putin!”
(One second: I’m not calling Putin a nazi. I just think this Natalia Bolkovas is as fanatic as nazis were. And I’m sure that you can love your nation without being a fanatic).
I cannot find the vomiting icon .. where it will be …
PS: Я даже сам люблю Россию.
Но я люблю Толстого, Чайковского, Гагарина..не фанатиков дебилов.
Well, first of all it’s Volkova and second of all, I sort of agree with you in that irrespective of the Russians not caring much what the west thinks any more, it really needlessly sours many here to see so many soviet flags, with Donbass militia and public, in parades etc. etc.
Those in the west with a bit of forethought can understand that this for the most part, is not an ideological call for the return of a communist state but a show of support for a former state of strength, essentially impervious to western guile.
But, lacking such forethought (such as we do in the west), such displays automatically invoke a knee-jerk reaction in far too many, including me, and give far too much propaganda value to Russia’s opponents. It’s actually a current phenomenon that the west will actually brush off openly fascist trends simply because they are the most vehemently anti-communist and they use it to their full advantage when garnering western support. Do you not see how damaging that trend is to Russian interests? I really do wish the current Russia would slack off a bit on the flag-waving Soviet nostalgia, for their own benefit if nothing else.
My sentiments are with you 100%, but I’m too chicken to display a Russian flag or Z here in the fully-propagandize US. Hang in there, Russia! You deserve to live and prosper!
God Bless Russia!
You can become a fan of Zorro character.
Yes. God bless Russia. I’m not brave at all, but I finally got some bumper stickers. One says “Peace” and the other reads “Are we the baddies?” I’m in the Midwest. Hope I am making a few people think twice.
“Are we the baddies?”
Does it have a skull on it? 🙂
I seriously want to have bumper stickers made up that say:
*******SAVE AMERICA******
Give the Neocons the BOOT
Most won’t even know what the hell it means and those that do aren’t the key scratching types, I don’t think anyway.
Lots of others I’d like to sport but I don’t carry enough car insurance. Too many Ukies running around these days.
I remember when this first thing started in 2014, I drove into Manhattan late at night from up north on the s.e. corner of 79th & Park, where that Ukrainian Culture House or whatever in a 19th century palace sits. I thought long and hard about, what if I had a can of spray paint, would I dare spray a swastika on that fancy bronze plaque and not get caught by the cameras?
Then I thought, hell – that’s useless. The boneheads in the area would think it was a neonazi enemy of glorious, democracy loving Ukraine sending them a message, you know – like neonazis spraying synagogue doors with swastikas. At least that’s how the NYT photo caption would have read. Right?
Great!
Congratulations for being proud of your country! Your country defeated the Barbarians during the Great Patriotic War!
Moscow, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Rzhev, Kursk, Operation Bagration.. The sacrifices of the Russians should never be forgotten! Most Glorious Victory at the end!
Respect to your country! From us and also from our grand-parents who are no longer with us!
Now, your brave soldiers are successfully fighting the Banderites!
This is to be remembered! Western countries are totally on the wrong side of History!
Every country should help for the Denazification of Ukraine.
It makes me extremely happy when I see people ( in Europe) bringing flowers on the top of a T-34! Brave people are taking the risks.. Impressive and inspiring!!
Best wishes from Canada!
PS.. 1812 is also not forgotten!
Ukraine will be very lucky if it escapes joining the EU.
Look at South Africa to see the West’s future. It is not just the electricity that is off 12 hours a day nation wide — also the water and sewers don’t work 50% of rural roads are impassable. The trains derail so much they are unsafe from lack of maintenance and carry no freight that is all done on trucks now which are a favorite target of ambushes. Theives have stolen all the copper wire from Johannesburg’s mass transit trains so they don’t exist any more. Farmers can’t feed the animals or irrigate so starvation is ahead. Meanwhile guess what Yellen’s pals at the IMF just arranged for South Africa? A $500 million loan arranged in Nov of 2022 to shut down their oldest still working coal plant — without firing any of the employees. That money is supposed to pay them while they put up solar panels. They are currently trying to figure out how to steal the money with bribes from green actors. Absolutely no plans are in place for this. The biggest problem they have is organized crime has take over most businesses.
Don’t believe me here is a good article in the FT on the situation there. https://www.ft.com/content/5fe8291d-9895-4272-9e0a-eefa279116f4
The Climate Religion will waste staggering amounts of our earth’s limited resources on a fake problem. Politicians trying the impossible of never allowing recessions by zero interest rates and printing money will finally achieve permanent inflation of 15%. D&I will dumb down our schools and general advancement.
The 3rd world will continue to explode with populations growth.
Feminist backed castration of men with swapping pronouns at 5 will produce a more and more fragmented deranged society.
Did I mention drugs? That is what the homeless “problem” is. They spend their food stamps and SSi on drugs none of them want to work they want to stay high all day long. They like their situation.
I wish I coud see something positive. Russia and China just need to sit and wait. The West is self destructing.
Agree with some of this but not all.
Firstly, third world or global south populations as you put it are not exploding they are increasing at a decreasing rate and world population is actually stabilising.
Second. Feminists have never had power. Just women like Clinton who behave like political men. Truth is men castrate themselves. They are now spoilt, fat, lazy and weak in mind and body, looking to blame others.
Opinion polls.
Ask the right questions to get the “right’ answer.

What is happening at the southern border indicates to me these warmongers in WARshington district of corruption don’t care about this country or what happens to it. I hope you are wrong too, Larry but I doubt you are. Their mindset is locked and loaded regardless of what the citizenry think.
I regard Gallop as mainstream media. The last I read, 67% of Americans don’t trust the mainstream media (msm) but now only 9% have a favorable opinion of Russia. Looks to me like Gallop is lying, their sampling pool is msm lovers or perhaps more than 33% still listen to some of what msm says.
I wonder what the numbers would be if Americans knew the whole story of Ukraine. It’s their own fault that they don’t. The truth is out there if they want to look outside msm for it.
Today Alex Christoforou published a video with the news that a 2nd front is being opened, not against Russia but against the US in Eastern Syria. Russia, Iran and Syria will force the US to withdraw from the Middle East, which will mean another humiliating blow to the hegemonic empire.
As if these troubling developments for the US abroad are not enough, Russian RT today reports about a series of man-made incidents & accidents inside the US, which raises the question whether there is a system to be detected in the ongoing chain of disasters.

On the periphery of attention: how the American media cover man-made incidents and accidents in the United States
Recently, another state of emergency occurred in the United States – an explosion at a chocolate factory in Pennsylvania. Since the beginning of the year, a number of similar incidents have been recorded in the United States that have affected various areas of the country’s infrastructure. However, most of the American media do not find a systemic nature in these incidents. Moreover, according to political scientists, the US mainstream media are trying not to focus on them so as not to cast a shadow on the Joe Biden administration.
On the evening of Friday, March 24, the American television channel ABC reported on the explosion at the RM Palmer chocolate factory in Pennsylvania. According to eyewitnesses, first there was an explosion, after which a fire started on the territory of the enterprise. As a result, one of the buildings of the factory complex was destroyed and another damaged.
According to media reports, two people became victims of the state of emergency, five more are missing, ten people were taken to a hospital in West Reading. The causes of the incident have not yet been established, although it is noted that emergency services did not receive reports of a gas leak prior to the incident.
It is worth noting that a whole series of accidents have recently occurred in the United States, including at food industry enterprises.
At the same time, most American publications and TV channels do not link them in any way. However, at the end of January, the well-known American TV presenter Tucker Carlson drew attention to the increased frequency of emergencies over the past year at US food industry facilities.
“Strange disasters began to occur in food processing plants throughout the United States. In April (2022. – RT ) … a fire destroyed the headquarters of one of the largest organic food distributors in this country. The reason is unknown. The following month, in the same week, two unrelated private jet crashes destroyed two different food processing centers. One plane crashed at the General Mills plant in Georgia. Another plane crashed into a food factory in Idaho. By the way, back in February, a boiler explosion destroyed a potato processing plant in Oregon. And this list can be continued, ”said Carlson.
However, apart from the Fox News TV presenter, only a few alternative media and private bloggers drew attention to the increase in the number of such incidents and their possible systemic nature.
chemical month
At the same time, even the major American media were forced to report on a number of man-made disasters that have occurred one after another since the beginning of this year.
The most high-profile incident was the accident of a Norfolk Southern Railway train carrying hazardous chemicals. On February 3, about 50 train cars derailed near East Palestine, Ohio. A fire broke out as a result of the accident .
According to CNN, at least five tanks that were in the composition contained vinyl chloride, a poisonous chemical that is widely used in industry. This substance is flammable, and when burned, it decomposes into carbon monoxide, phosgene and hydrogen chloride.
Some of the tanks that were on the ground were not damaged, but they were close to the ongoing fire, which could provoke a detonation. Because of this, the authorities of the region decided to control the release of toxic chemicals for their afterburning, which eventually turned into contamination of the surrounding area. The consequences of this accident and the scale of what happened have yet to be assessed.
On February 14, a tank truck carrying about 1 ton of nitric acid overturned on a highway in Arizona. Bright orange fumes began to emerge from the damaged container, local authorities announced the evacuation of the population.
The next day, a cistern used to store polymers caught fire at the river port in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Despite claims by authorities that the cistern contained only traces of chemicals, the blaze emitted copious amounts of thick black smoke and the port was evacuated, according to Newsweek.
On February 22, the Associated Press reported a fire at the uranium processing facility at National Security Complex Y-12. This is a highly secure facility where specialists, among other things, produce parts for American nuclear weapons and supply enriched uranium for the needs of the US Navy. It was claimed that the fire was quickly contained, and airborne monitors did not record the release of radioactive material.
The Guardian newspaper, citing data from the Chemical Disaster Prevention Coalition, reported that only in the first seven weeks of 2023 in the United States more than 30 such incidents were registered in the United States : whether it was train derailment, truck accidents, pipeline ruptures or leaks and spills at industrial plants – that is, about one case every one and a half days.
It was noted that in 2022 the coalition registered 188 such cases – compared with 177 in 2021, The Guardian notes. In turn, according to official statistics published by the US authorities, based on data from the Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, only in the last three months of 2022, from October to December, 36 “chemical incidents” were registered (compared to 16 episodes for the same period in 2021 and 14 cases in 2020).
In terms of rail accidents, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, there were 54,539 train derailments in the US between 1990 and 2021 — an average of 1,704 incidents per year.
At the same time, in a conversation with The Lever, former senior officials of the Federal Railroad Administration expressed the opinion that accidents like the incident in Ohio would continue to happen because the US Department of Transportation, under the leadership of Pete Buttigieg, did not restore the previously canceled rules, according to which trains hazardous materials must be equipped with electronically controlled air brakes.
According to The Lever, this rule was canceled under pressure from lobbyists, whose services are also used by the Norfolk Southern Railway.
At the same time, some American media tried to smooth out the negative information background formed due to a series of accidents. Thus, Newsweek in mid-February called Americans who expressed concern about a possible connection between the incidents as conspiracy theorists. However, criticism of the actions of the American authorities, other TV channels and publications that do not pay due attention to these states of emergency, continued Tucker Carlson.
“Food, water, energy, infrastructure — what does it all add up to? Oh yes, the country. Without all this, it is impossible to imagine a country, and in every incident, regardless of its causes, damage is caused precisely to such areas as food, water supply, energy and infrastructure. Do you know why? If you were in the dark, you would probably think that there is a war going on. Why isn’t anyone talking about all this?” – the journalist noted on February 13.
Systemic trend
Experts interviewed by RT believe that major TV channels and newspapers in the United States are trying not to make a fuss about the emergency at various industrial and infrastructure facilities in the country, so as not to cast a shadow on the Biden administration.
“This is their standard position, they create an agenda that reinforces in American public opinion the idea that the US government is indisputably right. To bring them to clean water, you need to try very hard. It didn’t start today and it won’t end tomorrow, ”said Vladimir Bruter, an expert at the International Institute for Humanitarian and Political Studies, in a comment to RT.
In turn, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations Pavel Feldman recalled that in 2021, Joe Biden agreed with Congress on a plan for the development of US infrastructure in the amount of $1.2 trillion. However, the implementation of this plan, according to him, has not yet begun.
“Therefore, the media are trying not to spoil the electoral background for Biden, which is not the most positive now, taking into account all the catastrophes, inflation and bank failures that the United States has faced. Systematic coverage of such incidents as an indicator of the poor state of US infrastructure would create additional bonuses for the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, ”the expert explained.
According to him, the number of problems that have arisen under Biden is already off scale.
“If you also focus on man-made disasters, unpopular decisions of the authorities and the inability of the Biden administration to eliminate crisis situations in time, then this can worsen the already rather weak pre-election positions. This can be called a kind of manipulation of the current socio-political information agenda. Not particularly significant problems on the foreign agenda are brought to the fore, and internal problems that expose the authorities in a disadvantageous way simply take them out of the focus of public attention, ”concluded the RT interlocutor.
Sounds like an intent on monopolizing food and water supply and privatizing, through the need of rebuilding, civil infrastructures, and, through this transport of supplies, that they would stop any time they need to twist any patriotic government´s will…
The poisoning through chemicals seems directed at reinforcing their “climate change” narrative, so as to justify climate lockdowns needes to avoid widespread violence of raging masses, like it is happening in France right now in face of the dismantling of their welafer state so much they fought to have through abusing of the figure of presidential decree which ends democracy as we knew it.
Two transnationals, Nestlé and Evian, monopolize supply of mineral water, by years of succesive appropiation of national wells and sources of water at every country…by any means imaginable….
Finishing tapped water by contamination with chemicals will imply a huge source of wealth….and control….
The same with food and who is buying the forced expropiated lands to the national farmers…
If land results contaminated, you will more easily agree to eat Bill Gates´”Impossible Meat” or, if you are poor enough, the so promoted toxic insects….which will kill you before you reach age of retirement….
Welcome to the Davos´Great Reset….
Then, they will launch their CBDCs with the alibi of securing your deposits in the middle of planned financial crash, and the circle will close….
Then, you will go wherever they tell you, will buy whatever they tell you, will eat and drink whatever they tell you, and finally you will live to whenever they tell you….
The sheer number of ‘accidents’ (every one and a half day there occurs a man-made disaster) points towards a ‘system’ or an organized way how this string of catastrophes is being prolonged & continued. This is closely connected with the abysmal dysfunctionality of the Main Stream Media that for sure are organized in burying their heads in the sand. The same ostrich policy we see in the manner how the act-of-war sabotage of North Stream 1 & 2 is being addressed with deafening silence. Is it possible that US state agencies are consciously sabotaging the US itself? I can hardly imagine an anti-state anarchist organization behind this. Instead to imagine the US State itself, not as a protector of the American people but as its destructive agent is not at all difficult. This is Carl Schmitt’s thinking (Carl Schmitt was the ideologue of Nazi Germany) in extremis: the first thing to do is to call out the state of emergency. The second thing is to prolong this state of emergency at all cost. This is the soulless demon that has taken possession of the ‘neocons’ (a delusional term for the followers of Carl Schmitt).
CIM ing?
Good copy – could be better.
Enjoy.
Basically, the United States picked up where Nazi Germany left off in 1945, treating Russia and the Russian people as sub-humans. This attitude had become inbred into our foreign policy. The United States has even allied itself with a cross-dressing, drug addicted, Nazi midget, moocher Zelinsky and his deadbeat failed state Ukraine. This situation has become existential.
There is no relationship between the US Government, the intelligence “community,” the EU and Russia. The Minsk II Accords were just another episode of gaslighting the Russian serfs, the Russian stooges. “Nyuk. Nyuk. Nyuk.”
Europe is so oppressed by the United States that it doesn’t even know when it has been declared war on the United States. Europe is so delusional it can’t even tell the difference between an enemy and an ally. You would have thought having $20 billion of your own critical civilian infrastructure blown up would have been a wakeup call. The wakeup call of all wakeup calls.
But no.
The encirclement of Russia continues, with Sweden, Finland, the former Baltic States, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania all pushing up harder against Russia’s borders.
Sure, Europe is, for now, dependent upon the US for its natural gas needs — at 4-times the cost it was paying the Russians before Nord Stream One and Two were blown-up. But once the United States invades and conquers Russia with all its huge reserves of natural resources, all that oil, natural gas, coal, minerals, and rare earths, that the Russians have in “shameful abundance,” these will be Europe’s once again. The United States promised. And the United States always keeps its promises.
Even to an American, there is only one end game. The Ukraine army is defeated, destroyed, annihilated, and routed. What’s left of the Ukraine military is chased all the way to Poland’s border where it is completely eliminated — down to the last conscripted man, woman, child and old geezer.
Then the United States invades Ukraine under the battle cry: “Remember the Ukrainian Martrys.”
A fool idiot can see what happens next.
“Nuk’em Dano.”
Great Judge has/needs to be HEARD by many, many more American, Americans.

Mr.Payne and many, many others showed you and humanity, ways of Common Sense.
Good Luck in regaining your country back.
Kamala Harris is in Africa pursuing further tiesfor USA. She is all in on woke gender ideology, an extreme agenda on LGBTQ(pushing an agenda of encouraging hedonism without mores rather than an admirable one of tolerance and acceptance).
Out of touch is an understatement.
She should go to Uganda. They just made homosexuality illegal, and homosexual act with a kid punishable by death.
The USA is becoming irrelevant day by day. The opinion of the US and its leadership don’t matter as much as it used to be any more. Perhaps Gallup should poll the world and see where the USA is standing on the people’s opinion.
The depleted uranium does not have to be radioactive.
Upon impact, a plume of uranium oxides and micro-particles is spread over a wide area, some of which could still be measured in Iraq years later, to everyone’s surprise.
Uranium is a heavy metal, and like most heavy metals, the multiple pathways of toxic effects is not well characterized or researched.
Epidemiological evidence (clear spikes in cancers in the area, as well as birth defects of infants conceived in the aftermath) is quite clear: This is at least a long-lived chemical warfare agent.
Sorry, but I made a mess with the copy paste in my previous comment, please you can delete it, and, if possible publish this corrected version. Thanks.
The matter is not whether Russia and the US will talk again to each other, but whether, as he correctly asseses Col. MacGregor, those in charge in the US will hold the trophy they planned and promised to themselves they would do.
It is a question whether the peoples of Europe will forgive anytime, once awareness, on the criminal intentions through “vaccines”, forced deindustrialization by state terrorism, planned financial attacks on European banks, and consequent dismantling of the European welfare state and social contract, and galloping empoverishing it all implies, spreads like fire….
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IA1rcQM_QY
Even in the remote possibility of Russia restarting talks with the US, the existence of a whole hostile Europe in the middle separating both, will complicate cooperation through Eurasia for the ages to come.
It will be possible that the elites at the top planning all this are aware of this result, and thus are so willing to risk a nuclear interchange in European soil, since, as some sane people have correctly assesed, Europe is already lost for the US as ally, and even partner…..
The correct people will arrive in power sooner or later…..You will have to blow us up off the face of Earth to avoid a fierce nationalistic u-turn as a response to the current opprobioum and treatment of us like animals in a lab farm going slowly to the slaughterhouse.
With Europe, meaning its nations, that is, its peoples with their national cultures and own characteristics, you will lose all that huge space for installing all your nuclear weapons, biological labs and troops, plus the last place available to exploit and suck it dry so as to keep your financial Ponzi scheme going on….
Yes, it would had been better to talk to the Russians sooner, but I fear it is way too late….

“CAN AMERICA’S LEADERS FIND AN ACCOMMODATION WITH RUSSIA?”
Since the conflict is systemic, it does not matter which “leader” is in America, it is about transcending the coercive social relations which constitute “The United States of America”; evaluation being based on verifiable change of performance.
If you read Presidential decree 355 of 2nd June 2020 with explanations very carefully, you will find as a “final solution” if rendered necessary upon certain conditions,as one of the potential but not the only potential response, The Russian Federation is will to engage in nuclear warfare.
One of the conditions is resort to biological warfare by “The United States of America” and likely some of the increase in sales of incontinent pads for ladies of a certain vintage.
However The Russian Federation has successful practice in managing “The United States of America” without being perceived as doing so by “The United States of America” since at least 1985 when preparations for withdrawl from Afghanistan started to be planned, and hence have other strategic options available to them other than things that go bang, and have consistently follow the practice of “leave them alone, they are stupid enough to fuck themselves up without our help.
At a “meeting” in Obnynsk in 1991 if memory serves, a guest from Israel cited the “Sampson option”.
A Russian guest responded approximately with:
“Are you sure you would want to do that, because it would please a significant amount of people”.
This is why everything assigned a “gate” including Russiagate were perceived as nonsense that adults should waste anytime on, since we do not assign the significance to “The United States of America” that they seek to assign to themselves as is the growing trend in much of the world, since we are not “The Soviet Union” but becoming even more each day The Russian Federation.
Like many you fail to perceive that your opponents’ purposes are to transcend your coercive social relations not to emulate them, and these opponents constitute much of the world’s population.
They don’t hate you since emotion dissipates effort – they are resolved to transcend you so some of them and their offspring can live, facilitated in myriad forms not necessarily of your choosing or knowledge.
Try to remember the strategist’s caution.
Do you think your opponent is as stupid as you are?
The Russian response to the question is based on the precautionary principle of:
Let’s factor that possibility into the contingency plans.
“The United States of America” answer if the question is even considered, well of course but even more stupid.
Communication is not wholly dependent on speech.
It is based on the interpretations through cultural frames of the target audience applied to the datastreams including images, practices, cultural norms etc.; a reason why “American Propaganda” is so inept and that it is fortunate indeed that their target audience also enjoys a degree of ineptitude.
What do many non-English speakers “see” ?
A small sample to consider if so minded.
Members of one of the most anti-Semitic populations saw a fat Jewish “princess” being “tight fisted” trying to welcome them into their own homes by offering hard bulka (from cheap blue plastic bags) – not even soft fresh bulka with soft cheese and raisins that she could have bought by using the metro underpass to cross Kreshatik, a total return journey of perhaps 60 metres – forgetting the salt and running out of hot drinks in Kiev in February in drizzling weather with slush underfoot.
Members of other populations see the leaders of those who raped and then killed their sister, smirking on television, including that bastard Trump posing like a peacock turning side to side.
Members of some populations across the world see those bastards who tortured them or trained their torturers.
Do you seriously believe that The Russian Federation did not plan the Special Military Operation with the understanding of the above?
Do you seriously believe that The People’s Republic of China and The Russian Federation were bluffing when they outlined their purposes and requirements ?
Do you seriously believe that citizens of The People’s Republic of China and The Russian Federation have miniscule attention spans and no understanding of history?
Do you seriously believe that much of the population of the world gives an honest answer to a question posed by an “American”?
As Mr. Robert Burns observed:
God what a gift tae gie us
To see oorselves as others see us.
which is not attainable in the coercive social relation misguidely designated as “The United States of America”.
“CAN AMERICA’S LEADERS FIND AN ACCOMMODATION WITH RUSSIA?
Perhaps if the Russian and their federated co-operators deem that a useful tactic to further facilitate the transcendence of the coercive social relations misrepresented as “The United States of America”; trying to ensure that “ain’t no sunshine when they’re gone” is avoided.
Regards from me as well.

Enjoy the comedie -not only accross the road from where Bennie took his coffee in Le Procope with some encyclopedia or other – perhaps they didn’t have sugar?
Le Procope….
I have not visited the place, but you can be more “equally” treated at Café de Flore, no mind your attire, and you can have a huge jar of good coffee that makes for two generous cups at a correct price….
You can be treated here, even with totally breezy informal attire, more correctly, and even in quite plasured way, than in those BoBos neighborhoods where the new accomodated class which has grew under Le Petit Roi meet to show off to each other….
Waiters of Paris adore attending their own when these are enjoying their idle hours…it seemed to me….
“Le Procope…
I have not visited the place”
You are making assumptions instead of testing hypotheses – be careful.
Make a booking beforehand if you like seafood – don’t be late though.
Take some money since its not McDonalds: try to show off you’ll be discreetly asked to leave.
“Waiters of Paris adore attending their own when these are enjoying their idle hours”
To be a waiter is recognised as a very skilled job in some some places in France, and respect for people who deserve respect is always a requirement, the ultimate compliment was being invited into the small kitchen in calm periods by the chef.
So if you are partnered by an “American” make sure beforehand that he is a “Quiet American”, which will offend some I expect, although that is often the unsaid thought whilst “some Americans” are annoiting some waiters with their largesse.
When Benny was a client they only sold tobacco, coffee and alcohol, the discussions being free of charge.
I used to travel alone, most of the time….

“Yes, it would had been better to talk to the Russians sooner, but I fear it is way too late….”
At no point since 1991 has that ever been an option as the “Russians” always understood.
De facto it has never been a sustainable valid practice since at least March 1917 and de jure since 1922.
The documents presented by The People’s Republic of China and The Russian Federation in December 2021 were notices of intent disclosed beforehand, not ultimata where “The United States of America” had a say in the matter.
Not everyone assigns the significance to “The United States of America” that “The United States of America” seeks to assign to itself.
Some assign different significances to “The United States of America” including but not limited to, partnership through complicity of “The United States of America” facilitating their own transcendence, with contingency plans if “The United States of America” are tempted to use various types of weapons – Presidential Decree of The Russian Federation number 355 of 2nd June 2020 with updates refers in part.
I wouldn’t worry so much, there’s a world of difference between having a negative opinion of a country and wanting to go to war with it. I don’t particularly love Russia (too authoritarian for my taste) but won’t sacrifice my kids’ lives to keep China British, I mean keep Crimea Ukrainian.
So to gauge how serious Americans are about the war, the correct question should be “How many US troops are you willing to sacrifice to support Ukraine’s territorial claims to Crimea and the Donbas?” I’d say the answers would range from zero to a maximum of 2-3k (unless you are Lindsey Graham).
We’ll push this thing as far as we can and use up our “allies” lives but the US and Russia won’t go to war over this, imho (Poland might start something, though).
The American Empire is in full retreat mode and will restart America First in, I’d say, about a year and a half.
The West has cross the line of friendship with Russia or the better saying, the United States has cross the line of friendship with Russia in this proxy war. How can you trust friendship with someone that has been trying to killed your family and you, it’s impossible unless there is a hiding plan to killed your enemy. The Movie Enough with Jennifer Lopez or Sleeping with my enemy with Julia Robert. The point that is you Killed or you get killed by the enemy.
America is bless that Russian have not lunch a nuclear attack in the meddle of the night. Great report like always Larry.
I still think it’s the cabal of international bankers that really run the US leadership ; the latter flow orders, that’s all.
And their’s fundamental ideology behind all this and it’s linked to the Old Testament, simply applied to 21st century, including the US, the geopol center of their power. They absolutely don’t care how many people they get killed, it’spart of their broad objective of reducing the world population.
“As long as the United States continues to pursue policies and make public statements that Russia perceives as an existential threat to its nation and people, a war between the United States and Russia appears more likely. I hope that I am wrong.”
You didn’t infer a nuclear exchange, but I’ll assume that’s what you meant.
We have the proxy version in progress, specifically in Ukraine but also in Global South nations friendly to both China and Russia.
We’re all keenly aware NATO doesn’t have the resources or logistical lines throughout Ukraine to sustain the status quo.
The US military has been decimated by widely known problems that have reduced its quality and readiness.
One could make a case the US Navy’s submarines forces have attained the highest readiness levels among our military. In the current geopolitical environment, that may imply premeditation if Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates hold influential sway.
In a simple Alice in Wonderland scenario, Russia’s nuclear arsenal would level Washington, DC, without US retaliation, and we all live happily ever after.
That’s the price for peace in a multipolar world.
If you read Presidential decree 355 with explanation very carefully, you will find as a “final solution” if rendered necessary upon certain conditions,as one of the potential but not the only potential response, The Russian Federation is will to engage in nuclear warfare.
One of the conditions is resort to biological warfare by “The United States of America”
They don’t hate you since emotion dissipates effort – they are resolved to transcend you so some of them and their offspring can live, facilitated in myriad forms not necessarily of your choosing.
Perhaps if the Russian and their federated co-operators deem that a useful tactic to further facilitate the transcendence of the coercive social relations misrepresented as “The United States of America” trying to ensure that “aint no sunshine when they’re gone” is avoided.
Mr. Johnson
Let me proffer some advice if you are so minded..
From 1991 onwards there was an increase of in releasing former secret documents of the Soviet Union not restricted to via the photocopier of Mr. Mitrokhin.
They included documents about The Great Patriotic War and the contributions of Mr. Philby and his associates, including documents from the meeting of the Imperial General Staff with guests held in March 1943 in London, where the topic of discussion was “What to do with The Soviet Union after the surrender of the Axis Forces in Staligrad” not the fabrication offered by a Google search whose editing was not restricted to photo-shopping where unless it has been re-edited, persons in Red Army uniforms appear but were never present.
This and the following paragraphs might seem an agorrance of “American” proportions.
If you wish to publish this in The Russian Federation some would advise you to remove the (re-taken) posed photograph of alleged “alliance”, unless you wish to futher enhance the opinions of most of the population already has of “The United States of America”.
Some are of the view that it is better not to emulate the Jewish princess or Mr. Bolton in their perceived cultural insults if you wish to remain to be taken seriously, and at some point in the future perhaps co-operate in agora.
Some do understand the importance of making committments and carrying them through, whilst also understand that to change it is necessary to recognise and acknowledge your errors and start to rectify them, which partly facilitated the ongoing transcendence of “The Soviet Union” by the Russian Federation.
I reckon people may begin looking for real solutions soon.
I am referring to the everyday common people. Not the penthouse loving, Limo riding, Mao worshiping assholes that have destroyed our nation by perverting it’s laws.
In the simplest of breakdowns, that leaves 2 options.
Violent or nonviolent restructuring of the current Government.
Both options are identical in one aspect. You need an army to do either.
For the nonviolent option
(which is the only real option without hugely negative consequences both foreseen and unforeseen),
you need a dedicated army to go in and take over government jobs and positions, until you can get someone in a hiring position. This should be goal one across the board. Get your people into hiring positions in the various government bureaucracy’s, agencies, and politician positions.
This is how the current communist/fascist/authoritarian critters currently running our government did it. They had an army of like minded individuals hire on in government/corpo positions, until they got into hiring and authoritative positions across the board, and then it was over for the west.
For then they had it all.
They even had you hand your children over to trannies, homos, and teachers who hate white people to the point of genocide.
For. The. Entire. Day.
5 days a week.
For nothing other than brainwashing with the entire underlying theme of the brainwashing being tolerance of, acceptance of, and participation in evil.
So as you can see, it is an effective strategy that works.
For we are all now fubar due to this very strategy used by people who hate America.
Depends on which ‘US leaders’. The real Neo-Con cadre are Ashenazim Jews, mostly descended from families that emigrated from Ukraine in early 20th century. These are like of Robert Kagan-Victoria Nuland double act, Bill Kristol, etc. They are not always in direct power, but have been vastly over represented in policy making influence. These particular Asknazim have an internalized family mythology, of vicious Russo-phobia. They are still locked into mentally fighting the Czarist Empire and the Orthodox Church from last century. Is it any surprise their appointed ‘Presidential’ toys in Ukraine, and fellow Ashkenazim, both Poroshenko and Zelensky have made constant state legal moves against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, attacking its property rights, its leadership, and now the entire priesthood? The hard-line US based Russophobia comes from these Ashkenazim sources, and is consistently publicized by their fellow Ashkenazim media mouthpieces like Max Boot. There is NO off-ramp with these people, they are hard-line ideologues, with an anti-Rus/anti-Slav fixation that is truly obsessive and ingrained into their emigre family culture. Their hatred is real.
Amazon is making a contribution to peace by offering Russian movies and tv on their Prime Video streaming service. The Optimists, a series about Foreign Ministry employees in Moscow during the Khrushchev thaw, is excellent. So is Gogol, an imaginative series based on early Gogol stories set in rural Ukraine. Attraction and Attraction 2 are recent very watchable sci fi movies. There is much more.
Also noteworthy–the Mosfilm channel on YouTube offers a rich selection of Soviet-era movies.
How about a documentary on the My Lai massacre
Which was one of the most horrific incidents of violence committed during the Vietnam War.
So that America can understand why the world does loathe them.
Why the lesser countries under sanctions and constant threaten of sanctions are gladly joining the new multipolar world order. Continents such as Africa who have been exploited for centuries kept in abject poverty by the Western Alliance colonialism
“Revenge is a dish best served cold”
We’ve been living high the hog, the government has been wallowing in abundance at the expense of the world for much too long.
I think we are finally at the dead end and the gig is over.
“Revenge is a dish best served cold”
For the practitioners there is no revenge or schadenfreude – They are not “Americans” after all.
No emotion is incorporated since such deflects focus, but resolve to aid processes of transcendence subject to their abilities.
The opponents are not catalysing much of an emotional response except in themselves.
Look on the bright side though.
Many “palliatives” are available over many counters – for a consideration of course which can vary significantly according the the marketing costs of “perfecting” their containers.
The less than demure Jewish lady instead of saying “fuck the EU” may now be saying “Fuck – the biological weapons” and not for the first time.
Perhaps Mr. Martyanov’s observations of :
https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2023/03/you-dont-even-need-to-know-russian.html
along with many more by others will help to calm nerves?
After all many Russian people like jokes, but not telling jokes to jokes ,since doing so may strike others that the Russian people are being competitive.
If Russia is a gas station with nuclear weapons, then the US is a ponzi scheme with nuclear weapons
The saddest things is that the American people are in general very good people. It is our government that is awful and has been getting progressively worse since the beginning. I try and pick the best President in American history and can’t as all have something radically wrong with them.
The problem is that roughly 85% of the world sees us as we really are (not as we want to be seen). However, we have built a system of force progression to incude defacto occupation using 12 aircraft carrier groups and over 800 military bases. At the same time we have proven we cannot be negotiated with and anything we agree to is a lie. We also have proven our military is a paper tiger BUT also can cause wanton destruction. Additionally, all of our foreign policy now seems to be militant chaos. There is no treaty (even the few we agreed to) that we whaven’t broken. This leaves a serious problem for the non-US aligned (The World) vs the weakly aligned nefarious and self-serving Atlantacist union (The US, Canada, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and S. Korea) as to how to deal with this problem. So, it is The World most of who have been the victims of Colonialism by the Atlantacists, that must deal with the problem of the US and it unlimited agression and hegemonistic policies. These, by-the-way, are not limited to a particular political party so are extent to the entire US political system and are a progression beginning with the Monroe Doctrine.
The American people are one avenue to attack this problem and it can be done via economic means. It will require pushing towards revolution or an economic collapse similar to the Soviet Union (or both). To get there is going to require a lot of cooperation among The World peoples. This is the easiest solution but the Empire of Chaos won’t sit still and will stir up never ending regime change operations and proxy wars using evil groups (ISIS, Al Queda, Banderists, Albanian terrorists are good examples we have used recently) working for money or whatever ridiculous cause they support. We see this happening now pretty much everywhere. It will dramatically increase and will cause enormous pressure on The World.
That leaves another option which is to destroy the US militarily. Again, this is going to require a unity never seen before in human history to fight a giant such as the US. Looking closely at the weapons systems Russia and China (Iran and N. Korea as well), have been devloping it is possible to take the US out using a first strike and a secondary defeat of US ICBM’s. The S-550 seems to be designed with this in mind. The satellites also have to be eliminated simultaneously. I believe that the Posideon drones are actually meant to shadow US carrier groups and take the out all at once and the nuclear powered cruise missile designed to attack the US from the South whichhas no radar coverage. Add in the conversion of attack submarines to cruise hypersonic cruise missiles fired from torpedo tunes and the US is vulnerableform a plethora of directions. This is only what Russia has. We have no clue what else is out there but it is very clear that the Russia-China alliance has moved to that level required to take on the US. The alliance of the growing BRICS union will add to that capability.
So, as I see it this is going to be a phased attack using economic hybrid warfare first and if the American nation doesn’t succomb or gets more insane then a follow on military attack will be necessary. What is obvious is the US has to be eliminated as a potential threat to the rest of The World similar to what was done with Nazi Germany.
Unlike the Soviet Union that had guaranteed housing, universal health care, and other support systems (not the best but adequate enough) which helped the people to survive the destruction that followed the US pillaging of the Soviet Union remnants. The US has none of these systems in place so it will be a great deal worse. The social divisions including race, ideological, economic, and political were all created for political reasons and dramatically increased since Obama’s presidency and have set us up for a collapse never before seen in human history. The banking stress (IMHO articial and designed to shift to a FED digital currency) will add to the problems. When it goes it is going to begin slowly and escalate beyond belief. There is no charismatic leader capable of uniting the people so the destruction will be complete. If the dying government tries to start WWIII then phase 2 will have to be implemented with resultant nuclear destruction (possibly not as hypersonics seem to be efficient enough without nuclear tips) more than likely limited to military bases and control systems in the US and whatever foreign bases posess nuclear capabilities (including NATO such as Belgium, Germany, France, Turkey, and the UK that have US nuclear weapons based there). This could also include Poland and Romania.
What the US citizens do when this ultimately happens is something to ponder. Most have no idea how awful the US is and belive the propoganda. It will be decades before it gets resolved if ever.
I cannot see any other solution.
Since I can not transcript here the whole chapter “The Vienna of Yesterday” so that you can atest how others rebuilt their cities in desolated Europe, I found instead thisl ink withe some extracts which may be you can find hopeful, or even encourage yo uto read the book.
It is always interesting to read testimonies from people who lost everything at war and how they recovered….
THE AGONY OF PEACE
533 – Suddenly, the old popular Russian saying: “From the beggar’s sack and jail, no one is safe” became horrifyingly true.
542 – “Let’s welcome time as it wants us”, I told myself with Shakespeare.
546 – Something different was beginning, a new era, but how many hells and purgatories still had to be traveled to reach it! […] But every shadow is, after all, the daughter of light and only he who has known clarity and darkness, war and peace, rise and fall, only he has truly lived.
Stefan Zweig (Vienna, 1881 – Petrópolis, Brazil, 1942)
In Spanish, just copy paste the link in a translator….

Agree, important to read about people, cities, and nations that rebuilt after losing everything. Russia itself is such a story, one of the most incredible ever. Are there any English language books that do justice to what Russia achieved from 1991 to the present? The Soviet years have been written about of course.
“Are there any English language books that do justice to what Russia achieved from 1991 to the present? ”
No because those who deem themselves to be “authors” have little if any understanding what Russia achieved from 1991 to the present, since this facilitated what Russia achieved from 1991 to the present.
There are many modes of communication including implementation of strategies that “analysts” seek to “discover” and place in publications, whilst those who facilitated what Russia achieved from 1991 to the present by design never sought attribution, there by creating perceived lacunae that impatient “analysts” sought to fill with their own interpretations/speculations.
However if you want to understand in large part what the Russia didn’t do and hence didn’t “achieve” from 1991 until today, then choose any book because they contain much nonsense in different presentations as has been the case since at least 1945.
If you would like some nonsense on “The Soviet Union” that the author admits didn’t happen but should have, read Mr. Stephen F. Cohen’s Soviet Fates and Lost Alternatives, which illustrates the assumptions and methods used by some “experts” who came to “The Soviet Union” from 1992 (after it no longer existed) onwards with “the best of intentions” to explain to the natives they had wasted much of their lives, but not to worry “the experts” had come to save them from themselves, and gave them some directions that the “experts” had prepared earlier (in English if memory serves), well it was better than plain bulka without salt donated by a Jewish woman to an assembly of a significant number of anti-Semites.
Anyway, can not be worse than this….

No wonder they are looking for new alliances….
Do American leaders fear to loose their lives in a russian attack? When no, why not? Because they don’t believe that Russia will attack the USA directly? Because they believe the US military will bring down all Russian missiles? Because they have their bunkers and will survive any attack?
The USA once gave a proof of their nuclear power. Hiroshima.
The Russians didn’t do that. This is why nobody in the USA fears the Russian military.
That’s the problem.
“The United States is considering the possibility of appointing a special representative for Belarus, who will interact with the opposition [Belarusian opposition],” said Anthony Blinken.”
This level of arrogance and interference is exactly why other nations will turn away, and are turning away, from the U.S. and Europe. The agreements between Russia and China, BRICS, BRI, SCO will make it easy. But…the one big cincher for this is that these organisations have clearly stated they will NOT interfere in the inner politics, policies or direction of its member countries. The organisations are focused on peace and prosperity based on mutual respect of sovereignty and commerce.
This alone is something the U.S. and European colonist powers have never done. World domination in the name of “our rules” and “our democracy” have not gone over well and at present we see countries taking a step away from the West. The world nations have reached a point of no return on this matter. The present situation in some African countries are a clue that nations are beginning to turn their backs on the US/Euro way of doing business. As BRICS, SCO, BRI and other agreements continue to grow the world will move away from the Western way of destruction and towards the Eastern way of peace and prosperity. It will be painful getting there.
BRICS right now is a paper tiger. It has no teeth and is not as united and synchronised as the combined West. It’s value largely lies as a symbol of hope, freedom and an alternative and inter-trade.
China – Russia on the other hand are a serious cup of tea.
USD is sky high against African currencies, they are winning major contracts over Chinese in Africa and are proliferating base after base. The level of raw aggression economically and militarily against Africa right now is the highest and most openly brazen it has ever been.
So the only thing that matters really is whether China can de-leverage enough from the West to create a credible alternative with Russia and in the process damage the West far more than it is damaged.
This will be a game changer. USA is doing it to themselves. There will be no going back. The USA will only be going one way can’t see anyway but down the hole they insist on digging.

People from the Ukrainian side are praying: “Take us back even in tanks”
In the city of Yasinovataya, an ordinary hospital operates in the line of fire. From its windows you can see Avdiivka, for which right now there are battles
Once the road from Donetsk to Yasinovataya took 15 minutes, no more. The navigator, indifferent to the events in the Donbass, is now building a route along it. But this road goes too close to Avdiivka, occupied by Ukrainian troops, and is shot through by the enemy. Therefore, those who need to go to Yasinovataya go on an hour-long detour, and the last kilometers along the road shattered by shells shake their souls. Pits, pits, pits, Yasinovataya.
This city was the largest railway junction in Ukraine. But now the railway has stopped, the trains do not run. Some 2 kilometers to the line of contact. And from there you can hear a continuous cannonade.
TAH! TAH! FUCK!
Yasinovataya greets me with choral singing from the church of Peter and Paul, the windows of the temple annexes are littered with sandbags. Fight nearby. Tah! Tah! Fuck! Ta-da-da-da! They work from everything in a row: grenade launchers, machine guns, artillery. But the townspeople walk the streets without bending down. They know the difference between distant explosions and close, deadly ones. Since 2014, it has been constantly flying around the city: hailstones, mines, shells, rockets, everything in a row! And now there is a new misfortune: sometimes in the evenings, with a soft buzz, Ukrainian drones appear and throw grenades on the heads of the inhabitants.
Filled with concrete and spitting fire, Avdeevka was part of the Yasinovatsky district. The line of contact passed through the families. On the other side, many have relatives, friends …
And here, in Yasinovataya, there is a city hospital, to which residents who have suffered from explosions or shell-shocked are being taken. They also bring wounded soldiers for first aid, but they are trying to immediately evacuate them to rear hospitals. The hospital had already been shelled more than once.
“WE ARE NOT GIVEN ARMOR VESTS”
The hospital center is large, bright, noisy. I was waiting to see a basement filled with people, in which operations are performed by candlelight. But no, an ordinary hospital with two and a half hundred beds.
Sign at the entrance: “Caution, mines!” And an explanation that in the railway part of the city the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine scattered mines-petals. You can not step on and take in hand.
I go to the chief medical officer, an anesthesiologist Sergei Pavlovich Soroko.
– Arrivals constantly! Here the glass was recently inserted, – he shows me the window of his office. Everything was boarded up.
Just in case, the boards are in the corner of the room, all of a sudden they have to close up again. The last arrival happened when Sergei Pavlovich was not there. Lucky. More than 70 glasses flew out in the hull.
“It’s scary, of course, but you have to work,” he says. “Now half of the required employees are going to work. But the ones that do get out sometimes just live in the hospital. around the clock. Salaries are ordinary, civil. We are not given bulletproof vests. Did you see the utility room in the middle of the building? While everything is collapsing on this side, we are waiting there with the sick. We also roll out the recumbents.
– Are you from Yasinovataya? I ask.
– Yes, my house is closer to the demarcation line. It’s even noisier there. You won’t be able to rest.
Life in Yasinovataya is not easy. But the hospital got used to it. The light is cut down, the diesel generator is turned on. They stop supplying water, then firefighters bring it. The city itself is under constant renovation.
Builders from Chelyabinsk help the city survive. The destroyed is being restored, and medical equipment is being brought to the hospital.
FAVORITE AVDIEVKA
The chief medical officer is busy, the head nurse Marina Sergeevna is leading me around the hospital:
– Our favorite Avdievka is visible from our windows. There is an industrial zone, and there is a coking plant, – she shows.
– “Darling”? Are you without irony?
– Certainly. Relatives and friends from Avdievka tell us: “We are waiting for you to take us away from here in tanks!”
The plant in the distance, occupied by the Ukrainian military, is a local analogue of the Mariupol Azovstal. In Soviet times, a giant bomb shelter was also dug under it in case of war. They built well, well. Who knew that it would turn around like this, and the plant would become someone else’s fortress!
– Aren’t you scared? I ask older women in white coats by the window.
– Did you come from Moscow to ask such a question? They smile sarcastically. – If you are afraid all the time, you should sit at home in the basement. And it will still be scary.
– When it all started in 2014, we did not understand what was happening. And now everyone knows where to run, what to do, – says Marina Sergeevna. – Tochka-U even flew to us, its tail was lying in the yard. Then they removed it.
– Do you have signs in the city, as in besieged Leningrad: “During shelling, this side of the street is the most dangerous”? I ask.
– Useless! We never know at what angle it will fly.
GROUNDHOG DAY
Head Natalya Alexandrovna lived in the area of the XVIII Party Congress, where shooting is constant. Now it is impossible to live there. Therefore, together with the youngest 8-year-old daughter and mother, she has been in the hospital for a year already. The eldest daughter lives separately, but works as a surgeon here.
Employees who moved to work, there are three families in the department. Rooms were equipped from the utility rooms, even cozy ones. They call them “bunkers”. There are no windows, but no explosions are heard. We installed a washing machine and refrigerator. There is a shower, stove, kettle. In shops – dashes.
– But I take more shifts, because I’m still at work, – says Natalya Alexandrovna.
Employees living in the hospital joke that their life is a “Groundhog Day”: you sleep – you get up – you work, you eat – you go to bed – you sleep. And so in a circle. For the year department left the hospital only once. A nurse friend invited her and her daughters to visit Balaklava.
– The youngest daughter Alice rested, stopped being afraid. She has no one to play with, no peers. Once there was a patient, he came with his son. Here they took the soul, they stood on their ears! She has rollerblades, a skateboard, she rides in the corridors here. Draws. At first, she had everything in dark colors, even if the heart was black. And now – bright colors. She plays Minecraft, but if she used to build bomb shelters, now she is at home on the grass.
“PEOPLE TELL HOW THE NATSIKS TOOK VALUES FROM THEIR HOUSES”
The Yasinovataya hospital for local residents is almost a temple where you can come for consolation.
– Elderly people come, – the nurse of a day hospital tells. – During shelling, they fall to the ground, behind the trees. One day my grandmother came running, holding on to her heart and head. “Why did you run like that?!” And she: “I have a dropper! I can’t miss. I heal my heart.”
Get to the hospital more often on foot. There is only one small bus running around the city. If shelling starts, he stops working, because the windows fly out from him too.
– The main thing in Yasinovataya is to move quickly! And keep your ears up. Or vice versa, turn on the music louder in the car, as I do, and not think about anything, – the nurse sighs. Last year my mother-in-law went to work in a taxi. She also worked here. The car brought her, and she was already dead. It was covered with hail, everything was riddled from the passenger side.
With the liberation of new settlements around Yasinovataya, even more victims are brought to the hospital. On stretchers, in wheelchairs, often with chronic wounds. On the other side, while they were hiding in the cellars, no one treated them.
– What do these people say? I ask doctors.
“You can’t look into their heads, of course, but you can see from their eyes that they treat Russia normally,” says the surgeon Sergei Sergeevich. – Everyone speaks Russian, I only once saw a man speaking Ukrainian, but he also treated us well. They tell how the Nazis moved into their houses, took out valuables …
– What was the worst thing over the years? I ask the surgeon.
– Hard to tell. I remember a young guy was brought in, his fingers were torn off. He was very hurt. And he was worried about what he would say to his mother. I was more worried about my mother than myself.
“The horrors were in 2014,” adds an elderly employee. “Then no light, no water. The whole city was going to charge our phones from our generator. Extension cords everywhere, from extension cords more extension cords. The entire area is in cords. They cooked food on the fires to feed the sick … And in 9 years they adapted. Everyone has a supply of food, water, batteries for phones.
Doctors are not military people, they are not given a large salary and medals “For Courage”. Although it should. But if we assume that the hospital in Yasinovataya looks like a temple, then the doctors here look like holy ascetics. And then you should at least pray for them.
I am praying for all
Thank you for providing us with the REAL picture!
I am also praying for you and everybody around you!
I would add that many of you deserve a monument! This would help people to remember what happened over there since 2014!
Stay safe!
A lot of great comments here today. Just to pile on…
About two years ago, I read a piece in NYT about how we (USA) need not worry about federal budget deficits or the national debt, as we issued the worldwide currency, the USD. Well now, conducting international trade in non USD or EURO transactions is the death knell not only of our FED-led banking system, but of our Uniparty Deep State actual government. As many of you have pointed out above, the end of the Petro-Dollar is nigh.
As our manufacturing sector is totally lame, our agriculture sector has SERIOUS problems (weed control and water supply), there is no way out of this other than to allow the drug addict Deep State to overdose and die of its own hand. The question for all is this: What to do AFTER our own “Stunde Null”? Are you preparing? Are you willing to man-up and rebuild America?
Larry, I’m looking to guys like you to frame the new American house. Please don’t lose hope. As my Pastor said, “A man can live a few weeks without food, a few days without water, a few minutes without breath. But a man can’t live two seconds without Hope.” If I live long enough, I will be happy to put my shoulder to the plow, pick up my hammer, etc. I’d rather die trying than be herded into a gas chamber.
Sir, sorry, but the two responses I made to Old Microbiologist´s comment above where meant to be done answering you.
It seems that I confussed you both, old men, commenting here….Apologies….
The Microbiologist must be wondering what is the pertinence of those comments….
LOL…
I’ve been waiting for this my whole life.
I owe my grandchildren a better world.
I’m ready, I’ve been ready.
Not after Brandon’s Freudian of unconditional surrender regime change and get Putin.
Shortly after that Putin gave the and now we F’ them all speech as his approval went into 80% plus and the last remaining holdout oligarchs came onboard.
You can ask the Germans how it turns out when you get the Russians fired up about defending the Motherland.
I rarely encounter anyone who agrees with the media PR regarding Russia anymore.
Every now and then I’ll run across an old vet at the gym who refuses to see that the U.S military has been hollowed out from the inside.
Myriad is the name of people who are rapidly questioning and doubting everything coming from out of the rabid government.
Large numbers of just regular common folks are realizing the entire Covid-19, mask and vaccine mandates was a scam.
The media are increasingly finding it difficult to cover over the deaths each week as scores of healthy young people are just dropping dead and dying in their sleep.
Regarding the idea that a truce of some sort is in the rear view mirror.
Now is the time for those with a sound mind to find a safe city state.
The Constitution is dead, Congress is full of unqualified idiots. Society is absolutely broken lost and floundering in a sea of confusion.
High School graduates can barely read have developed no analytical nor comprehensive skills.
I could go on and on with more of the same…
Now judgement has come:
For many horrible things our government has done in the past here is just for example:
“A day in history. Start of the bombing of Yugoslavia
Exactly 24 years ago, NATO forces began bombing the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The formal reason was Belgrade’s failure to comply with the western alliance’s demand to withdraw Yugoslav troops from the autonomous province of Kosovo and Metohija, in which at that time there was actually a civil war between the Yugoslav army and militants of the Kosovo Liberation Army fighting for the independence of the province.
Aggression against an independent state was illegitimate: the Western alliance never received permission from the UN Security Council, and Russia and China opposed interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state. The Russian Foreign Ministry called this act “a stain of shame” that will forever remain on the reputation of NATO. To this day, international experts call these actions a flagrant violation of international law.
📌 Over 2,300 airstrikes were carried out in 78 days of Operation Allied Force. According to official Yugoslav figures, about 2,000 civilians, including 400 children, were killed as a result. The country’s economy suffered enormous damage – the largest enterprises and key infrastructure facilities were destroyed. According to authorities, the damage amounted to more than $100 billion. Hundreds of thousands of residents of Serbia and Montenegro were left without shelter and livelihood. 90 factories and factories, 48 hospitals and hospitals, 70 schools, 18 kindergartens, nine university buildings were destroyed. In addition, NATO forces bombed 82 bridges, more than 50 Orthodox shrines. Attacks were also made on residential areas of cities.
On the night of April 23, rockets were fired at the Serbian Radio and Television building, killing 16 people. According to the conclusions of international human rights organizations, the airstrike falls under the category of war crimes. The destroyed part of the media center still remains in Belgrade as evidence of the tragedy, as well as the ruins of the General Staff.
The NATO leadership did not spare anyone, and Albanian refugees often died as a result of attacks. So, on April 14, aviation hit one of the columns, killing 64 people. One of the most heinous incidents was the attack on the Kosovo village of Korisha on the night of 14 May. Under fire, 50 Albanian refugees were killed, the same number were injured.
On May 7, a Chinese embassy was destroyed by a precision bomb, three journalists from China’s leading media were killed, and more than 20 people were injured. Then the leadership of the alliance called the incident a “tragic mistake”, but later it became known that the blow was delivered purposefully.

In total, during the operation, the aviation of the countries of the alliance made 38,000 sorties, 3,000 cruise missiles were fired and about 80,000 tons of bombs were dropped, including prohibited types of ammunition – depleted uranium cluster shells. This led to radioactive
contamination of the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, which received most of the strikes.”
The US is expert at raining hell upon defenseless civilians.
They will probably be less successful against a professional Russian army
Crazy ass times we live in bros and sis’…
The US claims to have won the Cold War but that depends on how you define “won”. If “won” ONLY means the collapse and end of the Soviet Union then yes the US won. However, if “won” means defeating Russia as a sovereign (non-US aligned) Country then then the US never “won” a damn thing–and therein lies the angst–the US never really stopped fighting Russia (Cold War style) whereas Russia fully moved on from the Soviet Unions’ demise–diplomatically, politically, militarily and socially.
US diplomacy totally hinges on the hegemony of the fiat US dollar enforced by sanctions and often military intervention ergo the “Wolfowitz Doctrine”. Arguably, US diplomacy for all its faults created the unipolar world order of the last 50 years or so–in that it was successful although the power and opportunity has since been squandered.
Alas, the US hegemony (Empire) is in decline as evidenced by its waning global/diplomatic influence (particularly in the Global South and Eurasia) and; an undeniable effort to replace international trade in US dollars with sovereign currencies. Not to mention the US’ plethora internal issues and moral decay. Sound like Rome?
As many have mentioned, we are on the cusp of a new “multipolar world order” championed by defeated (sarcasm) Cold War Russia and a re-emergent China–the two biggest “threats” to US imperialism. So “Can America’s Leaders Find an Accommodation With Russia?”…only if the US is willing to relinquish it’s unipolar power and embrace the multipolar world order in actual diplomatic terms–not likely to happen.
Will a shooting war between Russia and the US result? I don’t think so…I think the US will continue to fight Russia Cold War style because the US thinks that worked in the past. But confusing today’s Russia with the Cold War Soviet Union is a fundamental and probably fatal error in judgment (and diplomacy).
The US hegemon (like Rome) will kick and flail to the very end–what replaces it remains to be seen…it is unlikely to rhyme with “unipolar” despite the tantrums.
In terms of creating the modern state of America, Nixon was the sole most influential person in American history, his Petro dollar creation under his presidency was genius, even if not his idea, his implementation of that alone changed history and impacted the future more than any American president before. In one fell swoop he perhaps unknowingly created a noose America could tie round the neck if the world and a fountain of unimaginable wealth for itself.
You Sir are 100% correct…if I am not mistaken Nixon created the fiat US dollar by eliminating the “gold standard”…the beginning of the end.
When the USD no longer rules supreme (and it’s coming)…the US hegemony collapses.
I don’t think the vast majority of U.S. citizens even thinks about Russia – or Ukraine, or for that matter, any other country. Most couldn’t even find themselves on a map, much less any foreign country. Very few have deeply held positions about foreign affairs. My God, we spent 20 years at war in Afghanistan with incessant propaganda about goat-herding terrorists and it was all pretty much forgotten in a week. Ask someone today, “Who are the Taliban?” and you’ll get a blank stare.
I think there was much more awareness of Russia and the wider world when I was a child at the height of the cold war than there is now. People back then actually read books, magazines and newspapers (that weren’t yet completely controlled). Many families had a set of encyclopedias and a world atlas. We still had a few statesmen left, too. Schools and universities weren’t churning out functionally illiterate graduates. You actually had to earn grades and there was the distinct possibility of failure and being held back if you didn’t work hard enough. Critical thinking was a prized skill. Now, everyone gets a trophy.
Whatever “awareness” there might currently be is cartoonish nonsense people might see when scrolling through social media feeds. “Putin bad” is about the level of understanding most people have. If you go one step further and ask people why they think this or that about almost any subject in the news, you’ll get a blank stare.
Even so-called reporters have nothing behind their opinions. I recall Joe Rogan asking then-NYT journalist Bari Weiss about her remarks regarding Tulsi Gabbard being an “Assad toady” and she was caught flat footed trying to explain her position. Indeed, she didn’t even know what the word “toady” meant!
NY Times Writer Criticizes Tulsi Gabbard| Joe Rogan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpurFfcSNfU
It’s all extremely superficial and subject to change overnight if a different message is put out there. People are inundated with a flood of “factoids” spewed by the MSM and social media and want to appear as if they know something, but when pressed to explain there’s just nothing there. No one home.
Trump was vilified for suggesting that we could get along with Russia, but the idea was welcomed by many people who are tired of endless war. That was really his unforgivable sin as far as the “deep state” was concerned, which is why we got “Russiagate”.
But even Russiagate only fooled half the people. Many of those who were fooled even now cling to it, much like they cling to other patent nonsense embraced by their tribe.
Gallup, like The New York Times and virtually every other mainstream source of information is, I suspect, just as captured by the “deep state”, so who knows whether these numbers are even remotely real anyway. We’re so far underwater with propaganda assaulting us 24/7 from every angle that you need a deep sea diving suit to even have a hope of breathing some clean air.
I would bet if Trump (or another politican) once again talks about ratcheting down tensions and getting along with Russia, a sizeable number of Americans will welcome it.
Agree with your description of the sorry state of the American public. I think the loss of print newspapers and news magazines and fewer people reading serious books or even being able to read well has been key. Picking up snippets of news while surfing the net is no replacement for immersion in genuine journalism and non-fiction books.

Amateurs, impostors and scammers – New York Times exposed American mercenaries in the service of Kiev
After the outbreak of armed confrontation in Ukraine, thousands of Americans went to the country to assist local authorities, writes The New York Times. But, as the publication’s investigation shows, among these “homegrown” volunteers there were many suspicious individuals who lie about their past, squander donations and frankly profit from the conflict.
With the onset of the Ukrainian crisis, thousands of Americans rushed into the country, promising to apply their military experience, to share money or supplies. Regional media applauded their impulse, and sponsors supported them with millions of dollars.
Now, after a year of fighting, many of these ” home-grown ” groups of volunteers are mired in internal squabbles and undermine the efforts of the UAF. Some have wasted funds or taken credit for merit and military ranks. Others, under the guise of charity, tried to cash in on the conflict, writes The New York Times, which has done extensive research on the issue.
According to the publication, such characters appeared due to the fact that the Biden administration took a position in which it supplies Kyiv with weapons and money, but not professional troops. Therefore, people who the United States “ would not allow to approach the battlefield ” are actively operating on the Ukrainian front. However, they often have illegal access to weapons and equipment.
One of the most famous Americans on the battlefield was James Vasquez. A few days after the start of the operation, this home improvement contractor from Connecticut announced that he was leaving for Ukraine. The local newspaper portrayed him as a retired army staff sergeant who left his job and family to go to the front line with a rifle and pack.
Since then, Vazquez has been posting battlefield videos online and at least once revealed his unit’s exact location to everyone, including the opposing side. “ I was in Kuwait during Desert Storm and in Iraq after 9/11 ,” he said in a fundraising video, adding that the Ukrainian conflict was nothing compared to those operations.
In fact, Vasquez, who specializes in equipment repairs, was never sent to Kuwait, Iraq, or anywhere else, according to the Pentagon. Moreover, he left the army reserve with the rank not of a sergeant, but of a private first class – one of the lowest army ranks.
Nevertheless, Vasquez had free access to weapons, including American rifles. When asked about their origin, he replied: ” I don’t know exactly .” The man also wrote on Twitter that he should not worry about international rules of engagement while in Ukraine.
Until last week, Vazquez accompanied the far-right Da Vinci Wolves battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After The New York Times began questioning the American about false claims about his military service, he immediately deactivated his Twitter account and said he could leave Ukraine because the authorities found he did not have the necessary contract.
Vazquez said he misrepresented his military experience for decades. He admitted that he was kicked out of the army, but did not disclose the reasons. “ I had to lie a million times to succeed, ” the man said in an interview with the publication. “ I didn’t realize it would come to this .”
At the beginning of the conflict, Kiev’s hastily formed foreign legion spent 10 minutes or less checking the background of each applicant. As a result, a Polish fugitive, who was imprisoned in Ukraine for violating the rules for handling weapons, received the post of commander. According to the soldiers, he misappropriated supplies, harassed women and threatened colleagues, draws the attention of The New York Times.
The Ukrainian authorities initially boasted that 20,000 potential volunteers were going to join the ranks of the legion, but in fact they turned out to be much less. At the moment, according to informed sources, the organization has about 1.5 thousand members.
Some of them are experienced fighters who work as part of military intelligence. But loud scandals were also associated with the legion. Former US Army Private First Class John McIntyre defected to the Russian side and in a recent interview said he provided Moscow with classified information, emphasizes The New York Times.
Internal documents show that the legion is in serious trouble. Recruitment stalled. In March, the Washington Extremism Project found that the volunteer organization and its affiliated groups ” continue to represent individuals widely considered unfit for their duties .”
Former U.S. Navy cryptographer and MSNBC commentator Malcolm Nance arrived in Ukraine last year and planned to bring order and discipline to the Legion. But instead, he is “ bogged down in chaos ,” the newspaper notes.
Nance’s television appearances have made him one of the most visible Americans supporting the UAF. The experienced military man developed a ” code of honor ” for the organization and apparently donated weapons to the legion.
But today, Nance is caught up in “a messy, distracting power struggle .” Often it appears on Twitter, where an American taunts one former comrade, calling him a ” fat man ” and an acquaintance of an ” obvious crook .”
He accused the pro-Ukrainian fundraising group of fraud without providing any evidence. After an argument with two Legion administrators, Nance wrote a “counter-intelligence” report in an attempt to get them fired.
Central to this report is the accusation against one of the employees of the Emese Legion, Abigail Fike. Nance insisted that she was trying to scam the Australian reality TV house into buying it with money she didn’t have. He also called the woman a ” potential Russian spy “. Faik, who has denied the allegations, is still in the legion.
Nance has left Ukraine but continues to raise funds with a new group of allies. One of them is a former Legion member, Ben Lackey. He told his colleagues that he had once been a Marine. But the Pentagon said he had no military experience.
Moreover, it turned out that earlier Lackey worked as a waiter, and not as an assistant manager in a restaurant, as he convinced other volunteers. In an interview with the New York Times, the man admitted that he lied about the service in order to join the legion.
Amid staffing shortages in the Legion, Ryan Ruth, a former construction worker from Greensboro, North Carolina, began looking for recruits among Afghan soldiers fleeing the Taliban. According to him, dozens of people showed interest, and he planned to transport them, including illegally, from Pakistan and Iran to Ukraine.
“ Maybe we can buy some passports through Pakistan as it is a very corrupt country ,” Root said in an interview. It is not clear if he was successful, but one former Afghan soldier confirmed to the publication that he was contacted. The man agreed to go to the Ukrainian front if they help him leave Iran, where he lives illegally.
Grady Williams, a 65-year-old retired engineer with no military experience and convicted in 2019 of using methamphetamine, was a volunteer tour guide at Ronald Reagan’s ranch in Santa Barbara. When he heard Volodymyr Zelensky’s calls for help, he decided to go to Ukraine. ” I’ve been shooting rifles since I was 13, ” he told The New York Times. – I had no excuse to say: “I should not go .”
According to him, he flew to Poland, hitchhiked to Ukraine and took a train to Kyiv. There he came across two Americans in uniform. ” They said, ‘Dude, come with us ,'” Williams said.
Volunteers took him to a base near the front and gave him weapons. In a few
days, according to the pensioner, he almost died near Bucha. A week later, the military realized that Williams had not signed up for the service, and sent him back to Kyiv.
Once there, after some time he began to collect money for Georgian volunteers. Williams received about $16,000 by telling donors that he would use the money to buy electric motorcycles for the fighters. But the Georgians kicked him out after he quarreled with another volunteer. He said he spent about $6,900 of his contributions on prepaid motorcycles and the rest on travel and other expenses.
Williams has since contacted a new group who, he says, promised him command of a motorcycle unit if he raised enough money. Therefore, this month he moved to Odessa and expects to receive a single motorcycle soon.
In addition, according to the publication, there are often examples when ” well-intentioned people spend money for nothing .” The MriyaAid group, led by a serving Canadian lieutenant colonel, spent about $100,000 from sponsors on high-tech American-style night vision goggles, but they proved to be less effective than Chinese models.
Earlier this year, the Mozart group, created by two former US Marines to help Ukraine, was disbanded. The reason was that one of the founders sued the other, accusing him of theft and harassment, recalls The New York Times.
Last spring, the Ripley’s Heroes volunteer group said it spent about $63,000 on night vision and optics. Some of this equipment was subject to American export restrictions because it could end up in the hands of the enemy and give him an advantage on the battlefield.
According to the volunteers, the organization delivered the equipment to Ukraine without the necessary documentation indicating the actual buyers and recipients. Federal authorities recently launched an investigation into these shipments, the publication claims, citing officials.
In his defense, the group’s founder, retired USMC Lieutenant Colonel Hunter Ripley Rawlings IV, provided The New York Times with documents about the deal. But these records only confirmed that he did not disclose to the State Department the fact that he was the buyer.
The group says it raised more than $1 million, thanks in part to former Connecticut contractor Vasquez, who posed as a retired sergeant. He claimed to be the group’s director of strategy and promoted the group to his audience online.
Last year, Ripley’s Heroes spent about $25,000 on remote-controlled reconnaissance vehicles, but they never arrived at the front. According to Rawlings, the Polish authorities detained them ” for legal reasons “.
The former colonel also said that his group wants to become a non-profit organization. However, he did not provide evidence that he applied, and did not disclose the costs to either sponsors or The New York Times. Therefore, it is not clear where the money he receives goes.
“ I believed these guys, ” said Sean Stants, who organized a fundraiser in Pittsburgh in October but never received a financial report from Ripley’s Heroes. “ And they made me look like a fool .”
Within days of the New York Times interview, feuding between members of conflicting groups—Ripley’s Heroes, the Legion—splinter members and everyone else escalated. They began to accuse each other of misappropriating funds and lying about their qualifications.
After a former ally took up arms against Vasquez, Nance came to his defense. ” James was NOT an impostor, he was in trouble, ” Nance tweeted. “ He has done a lot for Ukraine, but he will face difficulties .”
* “Taliban” – the organization is under UN sanctions for terrorist activities.
Its hard to imagine using the New York Times any kind of an investigation in the same sentence But thanks for this.
Those “polls” are as reliable as “unnamed intelligence officals, citing secret documents”.
I do not trust any poll…period. I don’t think Gallup or anyone have ever contacted me and wanted to know what I felt about something. These pollsters sample a 1000 people in the country and then tell the country how they all fell about something. Total nonsense.
Anyone trust a online newspaper or CNN type Poll?
” anyone have ever contacted me and wanted to know what I felt about something.”
A popular response in “The Soviet Union” was to tell lies but not limited to “surveys”.
All the President’s Men Redux…”The truth is these people are just not very smart!”

Linked below is a must-read article on the origins of this war from the Russian perspective published by the Journal of Military and Strategic Studies.
“This essay is devoted to the when and why of President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine in February 2022. As far as possible, it refrains from speculation and relies almost entirely on the record of Putin’s public pronouncements during the immediate prewar crisis. That public record is currently the best available evidence of his motivations and calculations. What this evidence shows is that Putin went to war to prevent Ukraine from becoming an ever-stronger and threatening NATO bridgehead on Russia’s borders.”

The ultimate answer is no and it started at the end or just after WWII.
Russia was then the USSR. Yes, you can say that because it’s true. Is Russia now today like the USSR? No, not all except in certain ways, but ultimately no.
We had many powerful people in the US that wanted and desired a war with the USSR just after WWII. General Curtis Lemay. That general was lampooned in Dr. Strangelove.
Since then we have had many others in the military and civilian leadership that want either direct or indirect war with Russia.
There have been a few US leaders, Presidents, that fought this. Two, maybe. While JFK did publicly gave the USSR a pounding, he was fighting his, our government, against this very thing. Trump tried to make Russia a normalized partner. Both got effed by the United States government. JFK was assassinated, Trump was forced out. All done by the unelected United States government with approval or help by those elected.
I don’t like Putin. I would not want to live in Russia. Russia, Putin, is not the savior to mankind. Russia, Putin, is just another authoritarian government that the United States is doing it’s best to emulate all the while demonizing Russia, Putin.
I have opposed this view here sparingly, but was more forceful in Mark Wuack’s substack.
I truly believe in my country, the United States. Yet, I know full well we do bad things and have done them for a long time.
Being banned for such things is interesting and I don’t mean here. Maybe my sparingly contribution is key.
You must make a distinction between the Russian People and the plague of Communism. Communism is an Anglo-Saxon invention. If you don’t believe me look what is happening to Europe and us to a degree.
Yes
” Russia, Putin, is just another authoritarian government that the United States is doing it’s best to emulate all the while demonizing Russia, Putin.”
And a big welcome to Newdill’s trailer park neighbour. I wonder if they drink from the same bottle of Kool Aid?
I think we’ve reached a point in the US when people could be concerned about admitting to someone they don’t have the official approved very negative opinions on Russia. Even some of the people who might reservedly not buy into the narrative could have concerns about admitting that to a pollster who knows who they are by way of a phone number.
The NPCs seem crazier than even early Russiagate in 2017. For some, it’s an accumulation of insanity from years of intense non-stop propaganda and a total lack of critical thinking.
Yeah… kind of hard believing in polls anymore. Everything in the USA is corrupt. I know a lot of people who are actually very favorable for Russia. I am one of them. Mostly religious Christians. We understand what Russia is fighting for. I would say it has to be close to 30 percent myself. No way is it in single digits. That seems like propaganda trying to show a united America. Crap… we can’t even agree on what a woman is.
This isn’t about whether the US can get smart accommodate with Russia, it’s about a site that’s ranks quite high on the more technical, but not too technical, aspects of the fighting in Ukraine. The site hasn’t been mentioned by Mr. Johnson (if it has been Baron missed it,) but it’s worth your scanning it, it has a lot of useful stuff.
If you were to read the linked piece below you’ll find in out a statement explaining what it is that has been slowing the Russian advances, it’s their inability to clear the mine fields.

America’s “leaders” are still living in the Twentieth Century. For the rest of the world, it’s 2023, not 1985.
Not only can US leaders not find an accommodation with Russia, but they are pushing for war with multiple countries. To call them warmongers is a great understatement. I can only conclude that the US government is acting like a man who has gambled away all his money and is heavily in debt to the mob. The frightening part is that the desperate man has a nuclear weapon and will take everyone else with him.
A long gone professor comrade gifted me a 1960’s ruble but he wouldn’t part with the KGB hat.
I have a Z flag but it would be dangerous to put it up in the glorious peoples republic of Chiquitastan.
Societies that are too delusional to exist will be put out of misery by any means necessary.
I’ve been looking for a Z flag. May I ask where you got it?
I have a genuine ushanka with the Soviet emblem I found in a shop in Prague. Its too hot in Florida to wear it most of the time.
I considered hanging a Russian flag off my front porch just to spite my neighbor for hanging a Ukraine flag on his front porch. But…he is a good neighbor, but is one of those Ukraine-Americans whose parents immigrated here in the early 1900’s and hates Russia because of what the Soviet Union did. People like him that harbor this hatred for years, simply need to die and get off the planet. He went to Ukraine for the first time in his life (he is about age 75) a few years back. All ate up with being of Ukrainian heritage. I make it a point to not tell him the truth about what is happening now between Ukraine and Russia because I know he will not hear a word of it and frankly, I like the guy so no need to ruin the neighborly friendship.
I kept thinking about why I hate something or someone.
In order for us to hate someone or something, that must be instilled in us persistently and, those who can do it, are those who have total control of the mass media in the “West”, that is, the press, literature, advertising, mass art, TV, cinema. , etc.
And who are those who have such control over the media, for at least 500 years, especially since the printing press was discovered in the West?: If you are clear about this, then there you have the answer.
“I kept thinking about why I hate something or someone.”
Coercive social relations encourage others to concentrate on symptoms and minutae in order to ponder non-confrontational questions in hope of sustainability of these coercive social relations.
A confrontational question to ponder is:
“Why do I hate ?”.
Now, why the hatred of Russia? Why is this Russobophy so embedded in the “western” elite and their controllers? It has nothing to do with ethnic groups, because numerous ethnic groups live there, with their own traditions, religions and customs, but they recognize Russia as the one and the same Homeland.
Although you do not have the gift of faith, it is a fact that this began about a thousand years ago with the “schism” of the Christian church.
When the Western Roman Empire fell, so did the Roman Christian Church, which was closely linked to earthly power. And from the attempt to reorganize the empire (Charlemagne) Western Christianity, also called Latin, which we now know as The Vatican, was also reorganized.
And this new religious center, the Vatican, proposed to submit all of Christendom to its hegemony (which had nothing religious or spiritual, but geopolitical control of the world, since this Latin church continued to be closely linked to power, if not exercised it directly), ignoring the apostolic tradition of the Orientals (or Orthodox) that has remained in force until now since the origin of Christianity), which refused to submit to such authority in whose creation they had no participation, among many others discordant issues.
(Under the protection of the Eastern Roman Empire, which continued to exist for another thousand years, the Orthodox Church never ceased to exist, converting to Christianity the entire Balkans and even Kievan Rus and Moscow, almost the entire Slavic world. Note that those Slavs captured by the Vatican: Croatia, Poland, Western Ukraine, for example, are among the most militant Russophobes)
Then came The Crusades (some historians argue that these crusades were more against the Orthodox than against the Muslims, with a whole mythology around it: The Knights Templar, The Holy Chalice, etc., to distract attention, for a change); The Teutonic Knights, Napoleon, Hitler, NATO-USA, among others. In other words, the “West” has been at war against the Slavic world for a thousand years, over and over again, which has turned the Russians into a warrior people, increasingly invincible…
Very interesting. The Orthodox versus Catholic division surely deserves more attention as a factor in Europe’s historical inability to maintain peace. The legacy of the Austro Hungarian empire is also interesting. Hungary, Serbia, to an extent Austria are all trying to stay out of the current conflict.
“The legacy of the Austro Hungarian empire is also interesting. Hungary, Serbia, to an extent Austria are all trying to stay out of the current conflict.”
A valid point.
They all remember the use of “ethic nationalism” by “The United States of America” through the “Versailles Treaty” to divide and rule “Central Europe” in order to control it.
Some in “The United States of America” also remember it and are trying to reduce the potency of “ethic nationalism” through attempts at encouraging “reasonable nationalism”, in hope of minimising the blowback from “ethic nationalists” in Ukraine and elsewhere, thereby attempting to emulate K. und Kaness to encourage The Man without Qualities except KaKa.
As an aside.
One of the reasons that “NATO” bombed the Danube upstream from the Iron Gates in 1998/9 was that from 1994 onwards Germany and Austria were trying to reconstruct Danubia as their sphere of influence, using methods emulating those of Mr. Bismarck and Mr. Bleichrodder’in creating/forming the Kaiserreich.
After this occurence a representative of “The United States of America” advised the Austrian bank in person – “We won the Cold War – not you” – of which the Austrian bank advised their German correspondent.
Destroying Nord Stream 2 was not the first occasion of resorting to such practice.
Opinion polls reflect the desired conclusion that their sponsors seek.
While majorities of populations may appear to believe MSM narratives their moral and ethical viewpoints not to overlook their personal interactions with Russian emigres often stop short of outright hatred and fear of Russians which like Trump derangement syndrome has mutated and now infects these same sufferers with Putin derangement syndrome . I suspect a substantial majority of Americans would welcome the whole Biden Administration leaving office before the end of the summer for their role in collapsing the US economy + funding and orchestrating the genocide of slavic peoples in Ukraine since 2014 while American cities decay into turd world shitholes.
Well , if only Russians were the only ones US gov can’t find accommodation with.
Chinese are in the same boat and after Germonney get it’s infrastructures blown up by the insane clowns community in DC, everybody fears to be next in line.
If reputation and trust are important in Diplomacy , USA better try to ditch itself in history’s bin and start a whole new country instead at this point.
It’s sad that accomodation is a word that does not make part of the USA policy and their view towards the world. The construction of a country based on global hegemony and not partnership will very soon charge a high price. I don’t know if it’s greed or dumbness, maybe a combination of both.

It not just for the moment we live.
“Can America’s Leaders Find an Accommodation With Russia?”
Only if their bosses & sponsors, either by force or happenstance abandon their global agenda or are eliminated. Until then, America’s “leaders” will do as they’re told.
Having no agenda or even thoughts of their own, the former would see America’s “leaders” kowtowing on the Kremlin’s carpets, while the latter would cut them adrift from their moorings. Who knows what they might do then, but I’d wager that a great void would open in DC. What (if anything) fills it after that is anybody’s guess.
” Who knows what they might do then…”
As has been the case :
Frankly my dear we don’t give a damn.
“anybody’s guess.”
Some don’t guess – they facilitate.
It matters little what Americans believe. They are increasingly irrelevant. I say that as one who lived for years in USA and studied at the best branded institutions.
Europe is no longer enthralled by USA. Largest trade partner for Europe is China.
Whatever the puppets in European regimes may say or do they are discredited – totally discredited by the US Lockdown and Covid Scam imposed on Europeans – and the way the US tried to fracture the European continent after BreXit.
US simply does not have the financial stability to play……….it is no longer the manufacturing centre of the world…….it is no longer “modern” but looks increasingly locked into a doom-loop.
Russia looks so “decent” compared to USA – frighteningly….even China looks “civilised” compared to USA………..
For the guy below saying that the vaccines weren’t to make this damage. The Israelites did not vaccinate the military…
But the ideological testosterone which had accumulated over so many decades had to go somewhere. Partly, it went into the first Gulf War in 1990-91, but that was unsatisfactory too: a quick victory against a feeble opponent.
….residual aggressiveness…
….above all a desire to inflict on the new Russia a defeat which history had denied them with the fall of Soviet Union.

All political questions in Washington are settled by defeats for some and victories for others, and the weak are trodden into the ground.
…It was not that there was a master-plan to destroy Russia: rather, what the Russians though and wanted was irrelevant, and could safely be ignored, because they didn’t have the force to back it up. And only force mattered.
…the beginning of globalisation. The advent of international satellite television…
…in the kinds of hotels frequented by journalists, media pundits, intellectuals and Thomas Friedman, you would find the same print media you were used to back home, as well as English-language newspapers like the Japan Times masquerading as local products. It was possible to believe that the whole world was coming to resemble the West, or even the United States, provided you stayed in English-speaking hotels, ate at restaurants with English menus and confined your meetings to those who spoke English. “They’re just like us, really” I was told by any number of confident, if ignorant, western businessmen or NGO workers, who might as well have stayed at home for all the experience of a foreign country they actually had. Moreover, since such publications and TV channels only gave the US or western perspective on any issue, it was possible to believe that in the great crises of the day the US was playing a far more important role than it actually was.
hoping belarus gets rid of that “special representative” job completely.
