My friend and new colleague, Andrei Martyanov, is always worth reading, but his piece today regarding Russia and the Chinese Navy is must read and see. The United States is quite worried that China is going to provide Russia with weapons, but misses the point. When it comes to advanced weaponry, Russia is the leader, not China. China’s Xi Jinping is not in Moscow with a catalogue of weapons he is ready to sell to Putin. Just the opposite — Russia has weapons that China needs it if is going to deter U.S. military action against Beijing.
The United States and Europe mistakenly believe that any bilateral relationship between China and Russia is lopsided in favor of China and that Russia has little to offer its behemoth of a neighbor to the south. The truth of the matter, as Andrei points out, is that China needs Russia as much, if not more, than Russia needs China. While Russia’s population is tiny compared to China, its technological sophistication, particularly on the military side of the equation, and its ample supplies of oil and gas makes it a large and vital country for the Chinese.
Andrei points out that China’s current hypersonic missile, the DF-21 ballistic anti-shipping missiles with their range declared as… 1,500 kilometers, would be of little use against a U.S. Carrier Battle Group parked 2,000 kilometers from China’s mainland. Moreover, the U.S. F -18 Hornets on those carriers are armed with the AGM-158 JASSM, would have an effective range of 2,600 kilometers. Andrei writes:
In short, China needs Russia’s hypersonic missiles.
Ditto for air defense systems.
A . . . Defense Department report shows that Chinese air defense systems present a substantial and growing threat to the U.S. and allies in the region. China operates Russian-built and indigenously (sic) produced systems capable of tracking and attacking enemy aircraft. The technological sophistication of these weapons systems, and the extent to which they can be upgraded, would naturally make it quite difficult for U.S. or allied countries to establish air supremacy over China in any kind of large-scale engagement.
The Defense Department published a report in 2021 titled Military and Security Developments Involving the People’s Republic of China. The report explains that China’s air defenses consist of Russian-built S-300 and S-400 surface-to-air missiles. These Russian systems are reportedly among the best and most effective in the world. Also, it is possible to upgrade them. The most recently produced S-400 missiles and emerging Russian S-500 missiles are networked together. This is made possible by high-speed computer processing capable of precise, long-range threat detection. These weapons systems have much greater range and sensitivity than previous weapons systems. However, an ability to detect that an aircraft is “there” or “in the sky” does not mean that the air defense radar system can establish a continuous “track” and succeed in striking, engaging or destroying an aircraft.
Russia’s latest system, the S-500 Prometheus, “is a mobile, surface-to-air missile system (SAM) . . . It is designed to counter aircraft and ballistic and cruise missiles, and reportedly can target low-orbit satellites.” It is no longer a program in development. It is now in production and, if shared with the Chinese, would represent a significant upgrade in China’s already robust air defenses.
The current Russia/Chinese summit in Moscow is going to produce a number of agreements. These have been in negotiation for more several months. China’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, was in Moscow in February to put the final touches on these agreements. Besides an agreement of mutual defense and cooperation, I anticipate that Russia and China will sign a long term deal on oil and gas that will ensure China has a reliable supply for the foreseeable future.
But this is not a one way street. China provides Russia with a key ally for creating a multi-polar and defeating the attempt by the United States and Europe to isolate and destroy Russia. China wields significant diplomatic clout among the so-called Third World nations and can use that influence to rally support for Russia at the UN and before other international bodies. The Chinese/Russian summit, if nothing else, delivers a death blow to the United States’ effort to isolate Russia and make it a pariah nation.

Andrei Martyanov is one of my favorite writers and analysts.
I’m also coming here daily for accurate information and news!
Thank you!
I’m not sure what stage of Grief the U.S. Warmongers are in.
Some combination of Denial and Anger ?
Absolutely right!
We should be thankful to have access to such high quality content!
On a daily basis, we can improve our understanding of what is really happening in the world. Larry and Andrei deserve all our respect for their wisdom, knowledge and human values.
Thanks to both!
Our moral duty is to do our best to share their outstanding content… Let us always remember this!
Best wishes!
Martyanov is also one of my favorite analysts. And he is mostly right here. But not entirely so, with respect to China, which is (after all) not his area of expertise.
As I write here:

the covid bio-war attack on China shows that China’s greatest strength is the ability to adapt.
(In contrast, the US Empire’s response to obstacles is to “double down” .. if banging your head against a wall doesn’t work – do it again and harder.)
With Russia’s spectrum of skills available for reference the Empire may struggle a little.
The China economy has an oil/natural gas deficit. China must import oil/gas.
RU has a market..they can trade in Roubles/Yuan….. both countries have expanded their gold reserves…. it’s a marriage. The USA is not invited to the marriage.
Saudia Arabia, Iraq, India…. all of Asia… are welcome at the nuptials. All gold culture.
You can go to Moon of Alabama… and many other sites and read how hell has froze over..and the two Islamic religious factions have also married…against the SWIFT US $ transfer system…and US Hedgemony. China has spoken against the US financial hedgemony.

The 🔯 world money changers’ reign on Earth is coming to an end and they’re going bat-shit crazy ’cause they can’t do anything to stop the eventual outcome. They only thing remaining for them to hold on to is that end-time Sampson Option doctrine which they have imbedded in their deranged collective psyche.
I, too, go to Andrei Martyanov’s webpage https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/?m=1 daily. His videos and insights are top notch.
What of the CJ-100 (Long Sword) hypersonic missiles that China has in their inventory since 2019? Up to 3000 Km range to boot.
The CJ 100 can be air launched and has maximum range of 3000 km, with air launching close to 4000 km! The DF21 mentioned by Andrei is now partially superseded by the DF26, which has range of about 4000 km. Standard Chinese bombers have a very long range and could be protected by 052D AD destroyers, which are also designed to counter JASSM missiles. In other words, the advantage that the US carrier fleet enjoys is not as great as Andrei suggests.
In addition, the Chinese are launching a new class of very quiet “stealth” submarines. And the Chinese Stealth Bomber is apparently undergoing flight testing this year.
Now suppose that the Russians and the Chinese join forces. The Chinese already use Russian fighter designs, and AD systems. Together, they can upgrade radar systems, hypersonics. Imagine those Chinese stealth subs with Zircon missiles!
The US no longer had the technological, educational or industrial base to keep up with Russia and China. Its focus on pie-in-the-sky, budget-killing systems that are too expensive to use and too expensive too lose make the US a loser in a real war.
As I write here,
https://julianmacfarlane.substack.com/p/us-cannot-win-a-war-with-china-or
.
Yep, while there are doubts about the true capabilities of China’s vaunted weaponry, the US CBG’s present no problems to China. In a worst case scenario the Chinese can just fit their existing aircraft with as many external fuel tanks as possible and send them on one way trips to the CBG’s, first to fire off whatever anti-shipping missiles they have, and then to crash into the US vessels kamikaze style. Existing Chinese naval vessels should be able to handle the incoming cruise missile swarm, and if not, behind them Russian pantsirs driven onto barges, of which China has plenty, can do the job.
Wait a minute. So what you’re saying is that the US is fighting the last war?? /s
I always assumed that Russia could mitigate the weakness China has in deep water subs. I am not sure Russian nuclear submarines are technically deep water subs but they recently popped up on American coasts and not one could be found or tracked after they submerged. We don’t have the missiles to take on much of anybody and the carrier groups can be sunk with hypersonic missiles. Our F35, 100 million or billion fighters, if they don’t crash, will be shot down by air defense integrated ISR battle groups, I think anyway. What exactly is our strategy? We are not a ground force. We are marine and airial force. Nobody reads those ten years of progressively deteriorating Heritage Foundation reports. Nobody wonders about the risks to American soldiers?
Have also read suggested that the latest Russian subs are equal to or better than their US equivalent, would imagine the Chinese would dearly love to leap frog to that level of sub tech as theirs lags. Of course good friends as they are the higher tech Russia probably still likes to know it has some military advantages against its larger neighbor, what deal could China bring to the table to achieve filling those holes in its military?
Wow information that Andrei combines US aircraft combat radius with air to surface missile range and numbers of these missiles! Then PRC surface to ship missiles range. So I wonder % of US missiles could hit targets on mainland across from Taiwan and how many reload missiles? Of course then what, will PRC-PLA just give up and do nothing?
Would you supply your precious latest technology to your current (temporary) allied, who has copied your past technology without paying? Of course not. However, since USA has been using Ukraine as a proxy, using USA made weapons and allegedly run by American/NATO personal as “contractors”, it is not far fetched to assume that Russia may pay back the favor, so Russian precious latest technology, handled by Russian personal, on Chinese territory, would use them against USA and thus, using China as a proxy.
It depends on whether the weapon can be meaningfully retargeted against Russia interests, or is only of real utility against the global empire / its CBG. Hence why S400s are finding their way all over the world, and S500s soon. I am sure Russia is working on the S600 (the S550 is, I think, also in production), which will have further improved performance.
I suspect that China is working up a plan to be able to take out US carriers at something over 3,000 clicks. Where does China get this capability in short order? Russia. As to the rest of the fleet, sitting ducks if they try to get in range. Sink a carrier or two and the US public appetite for conflict will evaporate.
Navies are so 20th century, as are fighters. Russia has leapfrogged past those techs to something far superior, cheaper, and easier to produce, with the added benefit of requiring a lot less skilled operators and maintenance.
They think like the military is a utility, to be efficient and effective, not at making profits, but for warfare. The NATO approach would make Teddy cringe – talk big and carry a pop gun. Russia takes war seriously. And don’t forget Korea – when China stepped in, the US went home. And they were nowhere near a “peer” at the time. Nor was Viet Nam, who prevailed despite carpet bombing killing 2 million or so civilians.
As the old saying goes, it’s not the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog that counts.
“Sink a carrier or two and the US public appetite for conflict will evaporate.”
Since when does the ruling class care about the public?
MILLIONS of us protested the war in Iraq before it was launched. We were shunted to the back pages of the papers and derided for ignoring the “threat” posed by the “WMDs” – if we were mentioned at all.
The actual sinking of “a carrier or two” would result in a thermonuclear strike. No other response would be deemed acceptable, since we have claimed the entire universe to be under our perpetual domination.
No carriers were sunk during Iraq war. You compare apples with oranges here. The US cannot use nuclear weapons. It would be the stupidest move they could think of. The US is defenseless against any retaliatory strike. All they did the past 50 years was projecting power so nobody dared to do something to them. As an obvious aggressor the US mostly has offensive military posture. Defense is not their “game”.
Very comforting thought, that the tiny but dominating ruling class of supranational rich folks “cannot use” nuclear weapons in any of their self-started confrontations with the rest of the world.
I’d beg to differ, since US “war fighting” doctrine anticipates decapitating first-strike action and use of “tactical” nukes. I believe there is a very unnatural but inevitable progression in the tiny brains of the neocon-neoliberal consensus that holds the keys to the nuclear weapons. Mutual Assured Destruction only worked as long as the US bosses could demonstrate tp the Soviet peer a powerful willingness and intent to do the insane thing, kill the planet with nuclear and biological weapons, even if that was killing their sacred Democracy At Home ™ (sic).
That was back when the US and Soviets had 30,000-plus strategic and “tactical” weapons. And when the Soviets were sane enough to blink and step back from the brink in the face of such rabid-dog MADness. The current Russian policies on nuclear war are a lot less forgiving. And always keep in mind (apparently discounted by US idiocy) the “Perimeter” dead hand system that will ensure destruction of NATO in the event of a “successful” decapitating US first strike. Now that there’s only 1500 or so US weapons on tap and it appears that the US-supranational regime is about to be ended, it is not even a small jump to mentally convincing themselves that they can, at best, only drag the rest of the planet into oblivion with them, so as not to be “defeated.”
Just a final triumph of the nihilist natzi mindset, imported so successfully via “Paperclip” after the last world war, straight out of Richard Wagner’s “Götterdämmerung.”
Would love to be wrong about this, but look at the OPLANs and unclear doctrine documents and the crazy sh!t in the policy space…
Yes, decapitating first strike, tactical….
Wouldn’t the ruling elites be looking for a place suitable to use nukes, just to make the point that they will use them?
i can’t think of anywhere suitable, but that’s probably a limitation I have, not them.
“I believe there is a very unnatural but inevitable progression in the tiny brains of the neocon-neoliberal consensus that holds the keys to the nuclear weapons.”

“Since when does the ruling class care about the public?”
Not since the people transferred their agency under illusions of “representative preisthoods” to interact with the gods and protect the people from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
I agree with Top Gum here. Apples and oranges. An antiwar effort over 20 years ago before smartphones, Twitter, etc., versus what we have today:
– Smartphones
– Social media
– Over 21 straight years of a constant war footing that people are sick of
– Tens of thousands of wounded veterans that serve as a visible reminder that war is hell
– Hundreds of thousands and even millions of friends and family of those wounded vets who know deep down that their loved ones’ health was sacrificed for nothing
– way more people that have been permanently red-pilled
– A declining hegemon
– Strong challengers in Russia and China
So where is the anti-war movement in the US today? Answer: It is so small that it barely registers on a radar screen. We had twenty years of combat in Afghanistan of which most people were only vaguely aware. In a WW-III scenario , I expect that the American public will be totally indoctrinated and anesthetized even to their own impending destruction.
You seem to have a pre-conception of what the outward manifestations of such a movement look like. My little brother was sniped through the spinal cord in Ramadi in 2007 at the ripe old age of 25. He has a Christopher Reeve level of injury. And George Bush later joked about it. So here is what the LaidBack Guy’s personal antiwar movement looks like:
After being red-pilled, I’ve educated myself. Every chance I get to slip in seeds of doubt into the non-red-pilled I take. Where the ground is fertile or will be so in the future, these seeds will take root. And those motherfuckers will never get my children to fight their wars. I’ll break my own children’s legs, sneak them to Canada, whatever. it. takes. to starve the machine. I can only control what I can control. Is that conviction enough for you Rob? Either way, my confidence won’t change. Hope and faith is all I have, but it’s also all I need.

” it’s not the dog in the fight”
You are mistaken – It is the dogs (plural) in the fight, their purposes and facilities.
“US public appetite for conflict will evaporate.”
Old habits die hard, and “exceptionalists” continue to assign significances to themselves that their opponents don’t share.
“when China stepped in [to Korea], the US went home.”
uh….not exactly. The Chinese accepted an armistice only after it became clear that their forces were bleeding out trying to regain the initiative. Chou En-Lai had the unenviable task of convincing Mao to accept the ceasefire before the PLA got decimated. And the PLA was less than impressive during China’s 1979 war against Vietnam. I doubt that we comprehend how much damage was inflicted due to the Chinese government’s institutional chaos during that era, including to the PLA.
The exchange of military tech might not be so one-sided as the imbalance between Russian and Chinese naval and aerospace capabilities seems to suggest. The Chinese are highly active developing advanced “aware” robotic weapons systems such as multiple-launch swarming drones. If these systems are anywhere near a level of development where they can be deployed in the near future (definitely not guaranteed), their appearance in the Ukrainian theater could be a major “Oh Shit!” moment for the West. We shall see.
And the Chinese can produce advances weapons in industrial quantities which the combined West could not even in its dreams achieve.
The space to watch is India in its relationship to the Quad, IMO. Will Russia be able to counter India’s strong dislike/ fear of China, to keep them outside the neocolonial clutches of the US, or will a wedge be driven by the West from its divide and conquer playbook?
The balancing act between India, their Cold War ally, and China, their Cold War rival, is one of the wonders of Russian diplomacy. That tripartite relationship centered on Russia as the key partner for both parties is something that happened so quietly that it’s easy to miss its significance.
We might also take note that Pakistan, China’s former ally in the region, holds absolutely no leverage in China’s relations with India. Modi hit Pakistan’s toes with a sledgehammer by revoking the special status for Indian Kashmir, and Pakistan’s objections got absolutely no traction in China or anywhere else. My guess is that Pakistan is headed towards Afghanistan-like status as long as the relationship between their military-dominated government and the regions of Islamist tribal anarchy make them such an unreliable partner. China must not have such a rosy view of that in light of their issues with Islamist radicals in the Xinjiang region. Suspicions about the Pakistani government’s possible foreknowledge of the 2009 Mumbai attacks, and their harboring Osama bin Laden, did incalculable damage to Pakistan’s credibility, IMO.
Russia’s interest-balancing between Turkey and Iran in Syria is another example of cool-headed diplomacy. And that was after Turkey got up to all sorts of shenanigans including trading for looted Syrian industrial equipment and oil with ISIS, and shooting down a Russian Su-24. I can’t help but suspect that the emerging understandings between Russia, Turkey, and Iran centered on Syria sent a signal to the Saudis that they risked being shut out in the diplomatic cold in that region, prompting them to mend fences with Iran under Chinese sponsorship.
Pakistan just demonstrated their unreliability when Imran Khan was unceremoniously booted out at the behest of the US. I believe he said something along the lines of, “Do you think we are your slaves?” when the US “suggested” he do something he didn’t believe was in Pakistan’s interest. Well, yes, they do think that, and so far they seem to be right.
Here’s a bit of a historical curiosity pertaining to relations between China, Pakistan, and the US, and a dispute within the Nixon Administration between State Department officials and Nixon/Kissinger over their tilt towards Pakistan during the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The columnist Jack Anderson received leaked meeting records pertaining to that dispute, documenting Kissinger’s assertion that he was acting on Presidential authority and would determine what policy vis a vis the India-Pakistan war would be. It would be tilted towards Pakistan with token cover and that was that. That was seen as repugnant by those outside of White House circles, particularly at State. The East Bengal situation had been boiling over for months, Pakistani occupying forces were committing rampant crimes against humanity, and there was an emerging consensus that independence for East Bengal was the only possible outcome in face of the mounting disaster. The tilt upset a delicate balance between relations with India and Pakistan, as India could easily drift towards the Soviet sphere if relations with the West deteriorated further. The leaker was clearly someone not pleased with the backtracking from neutrality forced from the top. Anderson published a series of columns based on the leaked documents, which directly contradicted what Kissinger had earlier said publicly about the Administration’s stance towards the war. The Administration was outraged. Anderson won a Pulitzer Prize for the series. Columns under link:
https://www.pulitzer.org/winners/jack-anderson
That left a couple of loose ends to the story. Why did the Administration so blatantly say things one way and act otherwise with regard to the Indo-Pakistani war? And who leaked the documents, and why?
It was gleaned that the White House was looking at everything through the lens of the upcoming summit with China, which was surrounded by sensitive factional issues within both countries, inducing the use of confidential intermediaries. Maintaining favor of the Pakistani President was deemed essential because of his closeness to the Chinese rulers and all other considerations be damned.
The second question, the whodunnit, boiled through the media for a while, then gradually faded away. There were rumors that there was another Ellsberg at State, a Democrat trying to sabotage the Administration…. but there was no Ellsberg. But privately the Administration was closing in on the leaker with the help of the infamous White House Plumbers soon to gain infamy through Watergate. And it became an unrecognized case of weaponizing the criminal justice system to remove a target from office.
White House watchers knew something was up during the spring of 1972 after the China summit. The Nixon Administration was riding high on its foreign policy wave between the Chinese and Soviet summits, with their implications for the US negotiating position against DRVN in the upcoming settlement of the war in Vietnam. The US was winding down its involvement in the ground war, which was pacifying some antiwar sentiment. The Democrats were teeing themselves up for an electoral disaster that only their most willfully blinkered optimists could fail to see. But still, all was not well at the White House. Certain people were suddenly on the outs, including Vice President Agnew. It was being leaked to media that he would not be on the 1972 ticket, and that Treasury Secretary John Connally was taking his place. Nixon was asked about it at a press briefing and brushed it off with ease. Communication discipline was restored and the team put on a unified happy face with Agnew for the remainder of the campaign. But the White House felt they knew where the leak came from: not Democrats sabotaging the Administration over Pakistan but diehard anticommunist China hawks that had gathered around Agnew and were opposed to any path towards recognizing the mainland government, holding out for some way to bring them to submission.
Further complicating matters was Agnew’s opposition to the Administration’s accelerating tilt towards Israel at the risk of relations with the Gulf Arabs who held so much power over the world’s oil supply. He was vocal that the US was being manipulated against its better interests by the pro-Israel lobby that was showing increasing influence in the Republican Party. (Agnew understandably hadn’t anticipated the Petrodollar deal that would help square the circle of relations with Israel and the oil monarchies.) Things quieted down in the Administration but the damage was done: Agnew and his circle were not on board with key foreign relations projects of the White House. Kissinger became Secretary of State, further cementing the paths that Agnew objected to. He was isolated from the levers of power and marginalized within the Administration. But then, with the explosion of Watergate and the real prospect that Nixon could be impeached, delivering the Presidency to Agnew, the issue of shutting him down permanently gained urgency. That meant forcing him out of office. After discrete contacts from the Administration and being assured that they would not be undermined by the Justice Department, the Baltimore District Attorney’s office obligingly cooked up bribery and kickback charges from Agnew’s days as a County Commissioner, based on the words of informants looking for a deal. With Attorney General Elliott Richardson signaling no support for Agnew, he resigned and entered a No Contest plea under extraordinary pressure and threats. Agnew later contended publicly that the charges against him were politically motivated, while dancing around the issue of who had the motive to force him to resign. At one point he claimed to be working on a novel about an American President forced out of office by “Chinese Communists,” but there is equal indication that the pro-Israel lobby engineered his replacement with Gerald Ford, going back through Ford’s political career that had been largely sponsored by Detroit’s Fischer family. The Fischer family, after making seed money through bootlegging, became dominant in petroleum distribution in the Detroit area, later branching out into United Fruit Company that had a notoriously intertwined relationship with the CIA. They were also generous towards paramilitaries such as the Stern gang and the Irgun providing muscle for formation of the Israeli state, despite working at cross-purposes to official US policy towards Palestine at the time they were CIA assets. Their support for Israel extended to supporting pro-Israel candidates, and they had everything they wanted in Ford. With the Fischer-sponsored Ford replacing Agnew in the palace coup of October 1973, continuity of the pro-China and pro-Israel tilts of the Presidency in the post-Nixon era were assured.
If these swarms of drones are “aware” of each other, their mission and immediate threats to that mission, then “oh shit” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
What are we building now?
Adding distributed AI for the creation of “intelligent hornet swarms” of large drone arrays is not hard to imagine after watching the link below.
https://youtu.be/apokvH4F9Ws
Small video guided smart bombs attached to each one could be made to act as one large one or sequenced and differently targeted to destroy specific targets or arrays of targets. “Oh shit!” is right, as I’d think only an advanced, AI driven EW could conceivably defend against them.
I’d never thought of that display as a show of military capability before. Maybe a swarm of intelligent Chinese attack drones will form a panda image during an attack just for jollies!
Our War Party can’t escape the win-lose paradigm.
Eurasia thinks win-win
“Our War Party can’t escape the win-lose paradigm.
Eurasia thinks win-win” and hence have no “enemies” but “temporary opponents”.
That is a major component of why “Our War Party” and the rest of the coercive social relations self-misrepresented as “The United States of America” are “co-operation incapable”, thereby being complicit, through opportunities afforded to their “enemies”, to transcend them.
Hence when “The United States of America” announced the purpose of “full spectrum dominance” some practitioners momentarily laughed and then refocused on how to “drown a drowning man with the minimum of blowback ?” given the exponential opportunities of transcendence afforded by the opponent, whilst “The United States of America” pondered cui bono and “Is she really going out with him ?”, as remains the case until today 21st of March 2023 in various time zones.
China and Russia moving closer together will only result in the U.S. attacking any non-nuclear countries that are aligned with them. Such attacks can be of many types – cyber, financial, infrastructure (SEE: Nord Stream), biological/chemical, political destabilization as was done in Ukraine and many other countries, or just good old fashioned “shock and awe”.
Anyone who thinks that we are going to be dethroned from our self-appointed position as Master of the Universe (aka “Full Spectrum Dominance”) and slink away into humble introspection must have missed the fact that we’ve poured untold TRILLIONS of $ over many decades into our perpetual war/surveillance/propaganda/control machine.
We have some 800 military bases around the world. Neocon fever rules both political parties. The belief that we have the divine right to rule is the most fundamental article of faith among the power elite. This elite does not care about humanity, including American humanity. They worship power and capital and this is not something they are ever going to share.
All of us are just so many heads of cattle to these people, to be herded about and slaughtered if necessary. They only need enough unquestioning drones to operate the machinery that keeps them fat and happy. The rest of us are dead weight.
The U.S. simply will not allow there to be multipolar world. That means it will do anything (and I do mean anything) to make certain that this doesn’t happen.
I am reminded of the scene from ‘Titanic’ –
Rose: Oh mother, shut up! Don’t you understand? The water is freezing and there aren’t enough boats. Not enough by half. Half the people on this ship are going to die.
Cal Hockley: Not the better half.
It’s the Sampson Option ideology of the Neo-chosenites, but believe me they are dealing with Powers on the other side of the Spectrum way beyond their control and dominion. They don’t even stand a chance in Hell that their deity Belzebù, Moloch, Lucifer, etc. etc. might intervene to save them cause his Divine mission from the onset was to deceive them all. I refer to him as the Divine Creator’s sieve. Frankly speaking, the fate of the US and its allies has been sealed in stone for a long time and it’s not pretty.
“Frankly speaking, the fate of the US and its allies has been sealed in stone for a long time and it’s not pretty.”
Thank you for looking in the mirror, mirror on the wall and seeing yourself and what is behind you – a projection of the coercive social relations self-misrepresented as “The United States of America”, not the Potempkin village deemed to be a “nation state” facilitated by “We the people hold these truths to be self-evident”.
@Juan Valdez
You are a half glass full man.
The reality is that multipolarity is already happening, and is leaping forwards via the Ukraine quagmire. Of course there will be setbacks, but the genie is out of the bottle.
Fill your glass and toast the good news as it arrives.
“You are a half glass full man.”
Gosh, you’re right. The U.S. will crumble and we’ll be forced to pack up our Zillion $ worth of weapons, military bases, submarines, nuclear weapons, satellites and space weapons, underground facilities, and God knows what else and go home to contemplate our many sins, until that day when we are ready to join the family of independent peaceful nations.
Ain’t gonna happen. Ever.
The U.S. has already killed, maimed and displaced millions of human beings since WWII, without mercy or remorse. We are presently facilitating the death and destruction of Ukraine. Europe doesn’t even understand yet how absolutely screwed they are.
Americans who aren’t totally zombified with the incessant woke/transgender propaganda have been declared “a basket of deplorables” and some form of filthy racists, hardly worthy of any consideration. Our elections are clearly rigged. Our President is a wind-up toy, trotted out to utter the latest party line then quickly surrounded by aides and taken away, lest he accidently utter some truth.
If you cannot see the total control grid that has been constructed around you you’re not paying attention. Your government has already injected the bulk of the population with a shot containing nanoparticles of unknown purpose. They’ve spent untold amounts of money over decades developing ways to control you, whether through drugs or other mind altering technologies. MK-Ultra didn’t just go away.
The power elite aren’t rational people who share your sense of humanity. These are pure psychopathic mass murderers and monumental thieves to whom the lives of others have zero meaning. To expect them to meekly succumb to a challenge to their absolute power is naive in the extreme.
If we use a WWII analogy, imagine if, as the Nazis were being beaten back from Russia, they had had thousands of nuclear weapons at their disposal. Do you seriously think they would have just watched Berlin fall and not used them, even if the Russians had also possessed such weapons?
This is the mentality we are dealing with. It is a death cult. It either wins or we all die, while they move to their underground bunkers.
“The U.S. simply will not allow there to be multipolar world.
Cal Hockley: Not the better half.”
It is much worse than that of course. I do not know how much space there is in the “secret” USA underground, but I’m guessing it will hold far less than 5% of the country’s current population, and dissenters or free thinkers need not apply. Some other countries may be planning for a bit larger contingent, but in most the military will be well represented.
Much of the so-called “better half” did die with the Titanic. Not going to guess how this actually works out with Armageddon, but it looks like some sort of neo-feudalism is in the advanced planning stages.
America and the West cannot manufacture and supply Ukraine. It is logically unlikely that Poland can enter the conflict for the same reasons.
Meanwhile 40 African leaders are in Moscow since yesterday for the conference entitled “Russia – Africa in a Multipolar World”.
America and it’s western allies are in fact isolating themselves everyday.

“Related to previsions by people in the past, the same author above recalls Mr. Chernomirdin warning that further expansion of NATO would blow up Europe…
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219042.html”
“Narrative” and its perceived “validity” are partly based on the propensity of many to conflate “an” answer with “the” answer.
This is further enhanced by minimising the context and ongoing lateral processes within which the narrative took/takes place and the perceptions and purposes of the authors and the promoters of the “narrative”
In the narrative of https://www.voltairenet.org/article219042.html and particularly the mumblings and other activities of Mr. Boris Nicholaievich Yeltsin in regard to NATO expansion and the “elevation” of Mr. Vladimir Putin.
In the period from 1985 until 1999 “The United States of America” was engaged in enhanced attempts at colour revolution in firstly “The Soviet Union” and then The Russian Federation.
During that period “The Soviet Union” was being transcended by the emerging Russian Federation and hence was more vulnerable to internal and external pressures as was understood to increasingly become the case from 1969 –
“Neither the catalysts nor modes of response were known in detail, but the likelihood of occurence was understood by 1969, as was the resort to attempted “colour revolution” during the early 1990’s and attempted “colour revolutions” elsewhere, since some not restricted to Mr. Suslov understood that Russia in its various mutations continued to be, and had been, at “war” not restricted to things that go bang with “The United States of America” since at least 1922 when Mr. Hoover distributed “aid”.”
refers.
Hence the primary how to of the day in such context/conjuncture became:
How to protect the infant?
By encouraging threats to the infant being dissipated by the potential threateners seeing the infant as being just like them and hence no threat, but a material object of their “endeavours and successes”.
How can this be achieved ?
Catalyse through perceived non-intervention socially derived propsensities of potential threateners to look into mirrors and see themselves and what is behind them.
Where to find the resources to do this ?
In some factions but not others.
“The Communist Party of The Soviet Union” was never communist, nor a party, nor operated in a Union of Soviets, but was a collection of interactive factions often pursuing different and divergent purposes.
Mr. Yeltsin was a leading member of the Industrial faction in Sverdlovsky oblast – one of the major locations of industry in “The Soviet Union”.
The Industrial faction, except a smaller faction represented by Mr. Brezhnev, had understood from at least 1962 onwards that for myriad reasons including their primary focus the “economic”, that “The Soviet Union” was not sustainable in the medium term of circa 5 plans – 25 years – and required restructuring by practitioners not politicians – as when Mr. Stalin initially under pressure from Stavka in The Great Patriotic War left it to the “experts”, but then re-emerged periodically to reassert his “authority” and screw up on various ocassions increasing causualties.
By 1964 in “The Soviet Union” the primary and immediate problem was the agricultural economy which included related machine production and logistics.
In 1964 the primarily agricultural faction, who had created the agricultural problems but convinced some others that they had the solution, represented by Mr. Kosygin in conjunction to the minor industrial faction represented by Mr. Brezhnev, gained control of the Politburo through the removal of Mr. Krushchev.
To gain a wider perspective of potential pathways in facilitation of restructuring various research projects were pursued under “the umbrella” of the Industrial faction through Comecon: Czechoslovakia being of particular interest due in part to the activities of Mr. Ota Sik primarily outlined in his work Plan and Market under Socialism.
These activities were seen by the Politburo as a threat to their positions, and this led to the Brezhnev doctrine, the invasion of Czechoslovakia by most of Comecon, and by 1971 the elevation of Mr. Federenko and Mr. Leontiev’s “Tao” of “Optimal Functioning System for a Socialist Economy” whose consequences Mr. Gorbachov (The smoozer) with almost no facility unless he asked his wife Raissa beforehand, made worse in attempting to solve the outcomes.
In May1993 either Mr. Federenko or Mr. Leontiev (I can’t remember which one) observed it was because he didn’t have enough computing power, to which another retorted approximately – Yes if you had you would have fucked up faster.
The whole world is a stage upon which most productions are comedies.
Foreigners often think that Russia only contains Moscow and St. Petersburg at least in the sense of acceptable toilets – Mr. Trump’s observation of shithole countries refers.
So where was the stage ?
Moscow
What was happening elsewhere ?
The ongoing transcendence of “The Soviet Union” by the emerging Russian Federation.
The prime actors on stage were the members of the Yeltsin-Zhirinovsky road show.
Mr. Yeltsin found his role more taxing than did Mr. Zhirinovsky did – after all Mr. Zhirinovsky’s mother was a Russian and his father an accountant.
So Mr. Yeltsin seeking more peace increased his alcohol take whilst upgrading his performances to include more colourful presentations, and being of a more social disposition sometimes mumbled things other wanted to hear and interpret in their own way, including the “American President” who didn’t have sexual intercourse with that woman, whilst Mr. Zhirinovsky was better suited to play the role of that evil bastard in the black hat who screws everything up.
The pantomine villian was often perceived as being stupid despite being one of the leading Russian savants of Western Asia which some of the ignorant still refer to as “The Middle East”.
That is possibly part of the motivation for present distributions from the archives of “The United States of America”.
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219042.html refers for some of the folks back home, the folks in the field will likely still experience the different fate designed for them, whilst some rascal without blat or any connection may visit an inscribed black monument, and when a greiving family says it was a tragedy, the rascal will pretend to be Russian and deliver remarks akin to:
Yes a tragedy only 58,000 for over 2 million.
Never mind we’ll improve this time.
Such are among the practices of “American propaganda” generally practiced outside “The United States of America” as Mr. Johnson may be able to attest through experiences in “Central America” and by some veterans of The American War which some continue to call The Vietnam War.
Madam Volkova, thank you for your co-operation even if not sought.
I wish you a good evening.
It is a big surprise to learn that China is so vulnerable to American conventional or nuke missile strikes if Chinese submarines fail to take out the US carriers 2000km away from China – at least the Chinese know where their subs need to patrol to foil an air launched American 1st strike.
Russia can help design & supply the massive quantities of integrated anti missile systems needed to construct Russian type solid air defense but given that they havent done it yet and the Chinese coast is long it must be a project needing years not months.
However as we know from covid, SARS1 and Swine flu outbreaks in China which the CCP has since 2020 publicly attributed to American bio weapons (possibly made in Ukraine & Georgia) distributed by aerosols the Chinese know US supply chains cannot survive without Chinese inputs so the US threat attacks domestic food and health with American exports of food and pharma products likely to be more in demand as a consequence.
The so called Tianjin port disaster some years ago appears to have been a tactical nuke delivered via a cruise type missile with detailed photo analysis shown in articles on veteranstoday.com which was alleged retaliation for China significantly devaluing their currency peg against US$
“anti missile systems needed to construct Russian type solid air defense but given that they havent done it yet and the Chinese coast is long it must be a project needing years not months”
China builds a skyscraper in six months, that from plans to completion. They will get it done quickly, if not already started.
“WHY CHINA NEEDS RUSSIA”
“For the uneducated, “Galileo di Vincenzo Bonaiuti de’ Galilei (15 February 1564 – 8 January 1642) was an Italian astronomer, physicist and engineer, sometimes described as a polymath.”
It is now accepted by a growing sum of some that sustainable multipolarity/polycentricity requires co-operative collectives on bases of from each according to her/his abilities, to each according to her/his needs, as polymathic vehicles to transcend coercive social relations such as “The United States of America” and their ideological constructs/myths facilitating alienation, including but not restricted to, the “individual/great man/woman of history”.
What are the Japanese up to in Ukraine? The Japanese are in lockstep with the Anglo-Americans including economic sanctions against Russia.

“Airborne Forces extinguished Ukrainian combat swimmers with anti-sabotage weapons
When repelling an attack by Ukrainian combat swimmers on the banks of the Kakhovka reservoir, Russian paratroopers used anti-sabotage weapons. One of the commanders of the Airborne Forces unit of the Russian Federation said that the radius of destruction of these ammunition under water is 200 meters. And “the enemy has no chance.” This newest, unique weapon (details at the link ) was used to repel the attack of underwater gamers. Earlier, the head of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, noted that Ukrainian paratroopers tried to force the Kakhovka reservoir, but their barge was sunk. Neptune, if anything, is also on our side. As is Charon.”

Ukrainian nationalists are jammed like fish by electric and acoustic waves
In the NMD, the Ranets-E began to be used against drone operators, and the DP-64 Nepryadva grenade launcher helps against the attacks of divers
Recently, the American magazine The New York Times Magazine published a report about a visit to the Kiev psychiatric hospital, which is popularly called “Pavlovka”. Ukrainian nationalists are being rehabilitated there, who received psychological trauma while participating in hostilities. The publication notes that Ukrainian hospitals are overcrowded with patients who have received psychological trauma on the front line.
Ukrainian nationalists suffer from panic attacks, strange visions, gnashing in the head, now and then grab their heads with their hands, beat them against the walls.
MICROWAVE GUN AGAINST NATIONALISTS
“They do not reach Russian positions for 5 kilometers, they just burn up in the air,” complain the operators of aerial drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They also report panic attacks and headaches.
As it became known to “KP”, the reason for this could be the Ranets-E combat complexes of electromagnetic radiation, which have been in our arsenal since the beginning of the 90s of the last century. This is such a huge “microwave” on a wheelbase that it shoots microwave radiation in the form of a beam, which with a power of 500 MW at the focus point “roasts” any electronics at a distance of up to 40 kilometers.
At the same time, Ranets-E burns out the electronic filling even for those targets that fly supersonic above the earth’s surface.
Operators of enemy drones who accidentally fall under this beam will also have a hard time: radiation leads to psychosis, degradation of the nervous and immune systems, and also to metabolic failures. Let them take an interest in the mental health of American intelligence officers who, with the help of their electronics, tried to study military installations in Cuba.
By the way, in addition, under certain conditions, radiation can lead to the detonation of enemy precision-guided munitions in storage depots.
“Knapsack-E” can be considered a defensive weapon. But there is a similar offensive weapon in our troops – the Alabuga cruise missile. This is already a real flying “microwave”: during its flight, it generates an impulse of 1000 MW, which burns out all electronics within a radius of several kilometers. Such a missile can deprive the enemy of air defense systems, reconnaissance aircraft, and many other military targets at once.
COMBAT SWIMMERS ARE MUTE UNDER WATER, LIKE A FISH
Our paratroopers, who are standing on the banks of the Kakhovka reservoir, journalists noticed strange double-barreled shotguns, which, with their huge caliber, are not at all like hunting ones.
“They allow us to destroy all living things that are under water at a distance of up to 200 meters,” one of the servicemen commented.
As it became known to “KP”, a double-barreled anti-sabotage grenade launcher DP-64 “Nepryadva” flashed in the frame . This is also a development of the early 90s of the last century, which was mainly in service with our marines and sailors to protect anchorages and other marine facilities from combat swimmers.
“Nepryadva” allows you to guaranteedly kill with an acoustic wave all living things that are under water within a radius of 14 meters from the explosion of a special grenade rocket.
With the first shot, the fighter directs the lighting ammunition, which makes the combat swimmer visible under water even at great depths, and the second grenade jams it with an acoustic wave.

“believe that any bilateral relationship between China and Russia is lopsided in favor of China and that Russia”
No it is more fundamental.
They believe and continue to attempt to practice that : All bilateral relations are and must be lopsided – as has been the case from inception in hope of sustainability.
Grazie.👍👍👍👍
China need Russia more than Russia needs China? I don’t think so. But why even frame the question? A little bit of Russian pride and arrogance?
China has over a 1 billion people whose average IQ is 105. The Chinese are good at spatial thinking which makes for good scientists and engineers. Thankfully the Chinese have been pursuing commercial developments more than military developments. It would be sheer folly for the US to pick a fight with China. Unfortunately a bunch of bozos are in control of the US with a senile grifter at the helm and they seem hellbent on doing just that.
“China need Russia more than Russia needs China? ”
Divisions of labour are designed to limit perception but sold as increasing concentration and facility enhancing “expertise”.
Mr. Martyanov’s professional experiences have in large part been conditioned/framed by divisions of labour and hence like everyone else his perceptions are conditioned thereby precluding, as is the case of everyone else, precludes his omniscience.
If my information is correct Mr. Martyanov and his family left what was to become de jure The Russian Federation during the 1990’s relocated to “The United States of America” and became an “American citizen”.
It is not particularly surprising that even by maintaining contacts with “the old country” which has changed over a period of circa 25 years, “immigrants” over a period of circa 25 years tend to absorb practices of “the new country” sometimes viewed through the prisms of “the old country”, which renders them to become less of an authority to analyse the “old countriy’s” details and their interactions in matters of strategic import kept secret by representatives of “the old country ” by design.
Well stated! One of the American habits he picked up was the criticizing of the US. But he has a blind eye perhaps a romantic vision of his country. When I was in grad school many moon ago, I saw the same attitude in the foriegn grad students: glad to criticize the US but only good things could be said of their country.
Clearly the US has lot to be criticized for, especially it leaders. But sometimes the bravado of the outlanders is irksome.
” sometimes the bravado of the outlanders is irksome.”
Quite so.
Even to the extent of some sharing coffee and cognac with members of the “Industrial faction” to convince them to not be tempted to arrange outlanders, who allegedly had come with the best of intentions to educate them thereby correcting their lifetime of errors, to travel in the cargo hold of the Delta flight from Shermetovo to Newark, New Jersey in coffins rather than seats.
It was agreed/decided that it would be more comfortable if they had seats, and as the saying goes the rest is history.
I tend to read with a cautious eye anything that Andrei Martyanov publishes. In the case of the first quote he gives this worse case scenario as if the CBG will fire all 432 JASSMs at one time. That would not happen unless there were already nuclear or non-nuclear ballistic weapons being lobbed at each other. At that point, putting into the air every fighter the CBG had and firing 432 JASSMs on the same strike would be a Hail-Mary approach. That is presuming the CBG would still be afloat, no matter how far from the Chinese coast. The total number of deliverable weapons are irrelevant in this case as the bulk of them would never be launched or if launched, never reach the target. The days of the U.S. Navy sailing with impunity off the coast of an adversary, imagined or real, are over.
The Chinese continue to improve their military weaponry and political clout with the Asian nations. Asian countries, will eventually fall under the protection of a China-Russian umbrella. The sooner Japan and the Philippines remove the U.S. presence from their islands, the sooner they will enjoy greater peace and prosperity.
The U.S. presence only brings death, deceit, and destruction to a nation. Proven time and time again.
‘..worse case scenario as if the CBG will fire all 432 JASSMs at one time. That would not happen..’
You perhaps misunderstand the term ‘worst case scenario’.
It is irrelevant to the discussion whether this scenario would or would not happen. The ‘worst case scenario’ is simply a boundary condition for a range of plausible scenarios that may be extracted from the discussion presented by Andrei Martyanov. Each plausible scenario, including the ‘worst case’ can then be analysed against a probability of occurrence (and confidence factor) for planning purposes.
“All those wonderful toys.”
Well said Lou. I follow Andrei and he does some good work, but he has a rather set in stone agenda and convictions that does not allow for the fluid environment we live in. So, I read him, and take it with a grain of salt.
China is interesting. First, they don’t exist without selling the US their products. They are desperately setting up other customers, but not now. But of course, the US dies without Chinese products. The most unholy of co-dependent relationships ever. And the US is friend shoring and setting up home based production. But with who? The cocaine cartel nation of Mexico? Building factories in the US? Who will work in them? The Gen X and millenials are not working anywhere much less a factory.
And the Chinese military. They got their ass handed to them by the Vietnamese. And their win record consists of Tibetan monks. Russia has an Army. China has a jobs program of people who have never fought a war. And only one thing makes a killer. Killing.
And while we have very effectively driven China and Russia together? There is no love or trust there. They just know the USA is an insane predator that they have to band together against. For the moment. Russia is not just going to hand over their best military toys for the Chinese to copy.
And lastly, you mentioned my biggest thorn in my side. Aircraft carriers. Absolutely great to terrorize women and children in goatskin tents with. In my estimation, the new Battlewagons at Pearl Harbor. They can do everything EXCEPT fight a peer opponent.
Agree Curt on the aircraft carrier thing…they are huge targets…the first US aircraft carrier to be damaged or sunk will send the other carrier groups running for cover.
Personally I think they are best used as a show of force OR as you point out…”terrorizing” those who cannot fight back.
An aircraft carrier is how US does diplomacy.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunboat_diplomacy
Thanks Curt and I agree with your analysis as well. For certain, there is no lost love between Russia and China. Theirs is a marriage of convenience, consummated to remove the unipolar hegemony of the West, and all that came with it. Russia and China have for years been working in Africa and it seems a good bet that Africa will go “eastward”, so to speak. Any nation that now trusts the Western powers are doing themselves a disfavor, as well as the citizens they are responsible for.
As you have mentioned, Andrei does some very good analysis however, this analysis is often driven by a “set in stone” viewpoint. A viewpoint which at times seems to be driven by the past and not as you say “the fluid environment we live in”.
Andrei M drinks good bourbon, smokes good cigars, and possesses outstanding musical taste. That’s earned him quite a bit of indulgence when he activates grumpy-naval-aviator mode.
I’ve been watching Ward Carroll’s (USN, ret.) videos lately. While he regrettably falls into the anti-Russia camp conversations between him and Andrei would probably be highly edifying and entertaining. One can dream…
“First, they don’t exist without selling the US their products…. (but) the US dies without Chinese products”
Huh? China’s US exports amount to ~3.5% of its total GDP. Not a loss one would take lightly to be sure, but hardly existential.
Meanwhile, other than food the consumer spending side of the US economy would be brought to a standstill, as would much of what’s left of its manufacturing. Given that consumer spending makes up almost 70% of the US economy, it would take an enormous hit.
“There is no love or trust there. They just know the USA is an insane predator that they have to band together against. “
There’s no “love and trust” because they’re nations, not Romeo & Juliet. How many of America’s allies “love and trust” it? Any?
China and Russia find themselves more tightly bound than they’ll likely be when the Hegemon’s powers dissipate, but the fact is that they share many short, medium and long term interests that will tend to keep them cooperative rather than antagonistic.
“Huh? China’s US exports amount to ~3.5% of its total GDP. Not a loss one would take lightly to be sure, but hardly existential.”
Perhaps wrong framing?
Try from Jardine and Matheson formerly of Aberdeen requiring the first opium war to find another Aberdeen, and “The United States of America” losing China at some point or other after September 1949.

Halford Mackinder call your office!
He warned against this in 1902.
Dear Mr. Johnson,
Sir,
Yesterday, Monday March 20, 2023,
We had the unique privilege in history, – for contemporary human beings – be witnesses through TV, YouTube video, social networks on the Internet, of what will be remembered in the future as the ‘birth of a new civilization’.
The meeting of the honorable Zhōngguó – the celestial empire –
with the Rossíyskaya Impériya, heiress to the historic Russian Tsarate…
The first diplomatic contact between Imperial Russia and Imperial China already took place in 1660, in the middle of the 17th century, due to a conflict…
A few centuries later, at the beginning of the 20th century, the Qing dynasty in China and the Romanov Dynasty in Russia disappeared.
Now, in the 21st century, we are witnessing the birth of a new type of Empire, another geopolitical union. The birth, conformation and legal constitution of an immense Multipolar Cooperative.
The Euro-Asian world, the Indo-Pacific world, the Asia-Pacific world are transformed before our eyes into this vast Cooperative that will bring together almost three quarters of the people in this planet.
And, the reaction of our Western empire in front of this unique and extraordinary period in the history of Humanity ?
– It is necessary to increase the forces of NATO –
– Netflix is going to produce a series of 3 chapters about the meeting in Moscow –
– We have important news about the Kardashian family –
– The former US President could be arrested –
– Late News about the NBA…-
OMG !
move, go ahead here’s nothing to look at…
“new type of Empire”
Not a purpose of facilitating an empire of any type, but an ongoing transcendence of any empire of any type.
A lateral co-operative.
On transcendence and lateral movement …beyond the mirror….interesting radiography….
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219043.html
Attention to the psychological portrait…I would venture he could get a high score in Mr. Hare´s list…..
Then you have clons of this specimen at the helms of the whole Europe….thus, as he asures Glazyev, we are for a long and hard fight….and I would venture they will not save in expenses, and not precisely related to money…..as recent statements by Mrs. Goldie, the baronese, show….
“we are for a long and hard fight….and I would venture they will not save in expenses, and not precisely related to money…..as recent statements by Mrs. Goldie, the baronese, show….”
This one you will likely not believe.
Neither the catalysts nor modes of response were known in detail, but the likelihood of occurence was understood by 1969, as was the resort to attempted “colour revolution” during the early 1990’s and attempted “colour revolutions” elsewhere, since some not restricted to Mr. Suslov understood that Russia in its various mutations continued to be, and had been, at “war” not restricted to things that go bang with “The United States of America” since at least 1922 when Mr. Hoover distributed “aid”.
To prepare for such eventualities the velocities of trajectories/vectors inherent within “The Soviet Union”, including but not restricted to ethnic nationalism which would facilitate the transcendence of “The Soviet Union” at some point required acceleration/lubrication, not the lunacy of detente on the basis of spheres of influence with “The United States of America” desired by the lover of medals (Mr. Brezhnev) and his entourage facilitating an extension of the half-lives of “The United States of America”, to transcend “a drowning man” “The United States of America” with their complicity to facilitate “the minimisation of blowback”, which is becoming perceived and chosen by a growing sum of some throughout the world.
Well, on the baronese tantrums, it happens that they think of themselves as safe as the americans, in their respective islands….
The Britons are holding the population of Spain as human shield, as they do in the Ukraine, by parking their nuclear submarines in the Strait of Gibraltar jumping over Spanish sovereignty, security or any bilateral agreement…but, you know, that they are using international law as toilet paper…
But, well, we have a clon of Macron here….at the helms….fulfilling orders from Davos ….
People give them a damn, as the current “banking reorganization” shows….
I am aware this is the ultimate plunder….
Related to previsions by people in the past, the same author above recalls Mr. Chernomirdin warning that further expansion of NATO would blow up Europe…
https://www.voltairenet.org/article219042.html
As they now want to forbid also commerce with China, who will they be thinking they will sell their much more expensive products to in Europe?
Will they commerce with each other, these elites, oblibious to the fate of the peoples ? May be….
I am hoarding pop corn for when the time arrives when they start to fighting each other….
“Russia in its various mutations continued to be, and had been, at “war” not restricted to things that go bang with “The United States of America” since at least 1922 when Mr. Hoover distributed “aid”.”
Do you mean something similar to what is happening with the “grain accord” in Ukraine, and that he took advantage of the hunger so as to make profit with which to push his political career in the verge of a mayor financial crisis, a situation very similar to that of today, when everybody is hoarding cash as the vesel scores down into the ocean?

People seem to forget that any conflict between the US and big powers like Russia or China would not be fought exclusively on US adversary’s territory, as was usual in previous times. US military as well as civilian installations would be targeted immediately. Surely, US war planners must know this, but do politicians and other warmongers know it. Would the US be prepared to take huge losses on its own territory?
Great assessment at RT this morning:
“Thus, much more coordination between Beijing and Moscow can be expected. This does not presage a new military bloc in Eurasia, but instead a greater joint effort to help the world move faster toward multipolarity, which effectively means ending American global hegemony.”

The war between the “West and the Rest” is in full swing…we’re in for a decade of global (and domestic) change.
Thank you Larry for this magnificent exposé; you’re an honor to your tribe. It is true that many people are not well informed and totally misread the dynamics of Sino-Russian relationship. They don’t know that it’s Soviet Russia that introduced PRC to weapon making and industrialization first. Today, Russia is years ahead of China – if not decades – in terms of military science, technology and manufacturing capabilities, as well as military science. Furthermore, it is known historically that China never was a war-like martial nation. It is a peaceful nation of commerce and science.
Thus, I totally agree with Martyanov’s analysis that Prez Xi is in Moscow for military help and protection against the US ogre that’s about to devour it, not the converse. They know that they’re next in the line of US fire as soon as the Ukraine affair is settled one way or another. Xi is beginning to feel the heat of the inferno that the US is about to unleash on his country and reduce it to rubble. It is a certainty now that Neo-cons desperately need a glittering China win to ensure their political future next elections. The fact that Neo-cons are adamant on this war is further proof of their certainty to win it hands down. The fact that they’re panicking and sh1tting bricks – was gonna write Brics! – today is further proof that they’re afraid Russia might aquiesce to a military quid pro quo with China that will nullify their hopes in China.
“their certainty to win it ”
Certainty is the greatest weakness, and as you illustrate the Straussians and disciples have always been on an odyssey to attain certainty to assuage their fears, including by Brooklyn invading Israel from the 1970’s onwards to create superman.
It is a western obsession that all relationships require a domineering overseer and vassals. Russia, China, Iran, … are very pragmatic and cooperate without having to dominate each other.
China needs Russia and an independent south as much as the latter needs China.
UK War Criminals to send Depleted Uranium Ammo to Ukraine. If they do, Russia should send London a Poseidon Torpedo that contaminates the whole island in a 500 ft high tsunami.
Thousands of Iraq children with cancer because of US and UK use of this in Iraq.
Russia says it is a dirty bomb and will react.
Unforgivable scum.
https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-ato/3685453-uk-to-provide-ammunition-with-depleted-uranium-to-ukraine.html
George Galloway was talking about this on Sunday night, in a show dedicated to the commemoration of the criminal invasion of Iraq in March 2003.
He said, many Iraqi children until now are being born with heavy deformities following the use of those weapons by the “Coalition” in Fallujah.
A similar experience was visited upon the populace in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, in the sixties with Agent Orange. The result was such that many servicemen were affected by various illnesses causing early deaths, as was the fate of the local citizenry. This, with the added benefit (for the US of A) of the native children being born with various deformities. As the US politicians of the era would crudely put it “What the world needs now, more than ever, is a culling of the Gooks.”
Surprised Larry didn’t mention it–or did I miss it:
Martyanov also explained that a land-based fighter (like the MIG-31) with a Kinzhal has a 3000 km range, which outranges US carrier aviation with JASSMs.
The Kinhzal & Zircon or something like them is likely to be in the Chinese air force and navy very soon, again courtesy of Russia.

Russian border guard shot down a Ukrainian Valkyrie drone with a machine gun
The FSB told our military observer how exactly the fighter was able to get the drone from the Kalashnikov
Exotic news: a Russian border guard in the Bryansk region shot down a Ukrainian Valkyrie drone from a machine gun. The fact is certainly funny and impressive, but in the era of fakes, such messages still need to be checked and verified. Even if they are very pleasant. And so, with the help of my fellow journalists in Bryansk, I got through to the regional department of the FSB, to which the local Border Service is subordinate. My interlocutor at first categorically refused to answer any questions: “Not allowed! Submit your request!” I barely persuaded him to answer at least a few questions.
– A drone shot down by a border guard – is it true?
In the handset – an emery voice:
– Haven’t you seen the photo of material evidence in the Telegram channel “Military correspondents of the Russian Spring”?
I saw it, but still…
– Still, it’s true.
– But there are discrepancies. In one case, it is reported that the “Valkyrie” was filled up from a machine gun, and in another – from a machine gun …
– Our fighter fired from a machine gun.
– But how could he get a drone from the AKM if the aiming range of his fire is up to 1000 meters, and this “machine”, they say, was flying at an altitude twice as high?
– That’s not true. There was low cloud cover and this drone descended about 500-600 meters. Then our fighter slashed at him with a burst. And cut the screw.
Will the shooter get a reward?
– I think yes. But that’s not for me to decide.
BY THE WAY
What is “Valkyrie”
This is a Ukrainian-made drone. These are made at Aviation Systems of Ukraine – there is such a research and production enterprise in Kyiv. The device is equipped with equipment for day and night shooting in high resolution, allowing for aerial reconnaissance, monitoring, video surveillance, as well as artillery fire adjustments. He is very “big-eyed” – there is a TV camera and a thermal imager.
The first such complex began to be used in the Ukrainian army in 2017. Specifications:
– wingspan: 1.6 m
– type: flying wing
– application temperature: from -20°С to +40°С
– range: up to 34 km
– cruising speed: 60 km/h
– top speed: 108 km/h
– practical ceiling: 2000 m
– continuous flight duration: up to 120 minutes
– materials: composite, carbon
– maximum takeoff weight: 3.5 kg
– food: Li-pol accumulators
– takeoff: automatic from hand or rail
– landing method: automatic in an airplane
True, our specialists from the Russian electronic warfare units (EW) can arrange “Valkyries” and an emergency landing. They say that such facts also existed. Ukrainians already call it “black magic”. By the way, in connection with the downed drone in the Bryansk region, rumors are leaking that the Valkyrie was thus forced to “drop altitude”, and when it emerged from behind the clouds, the vigilant border guard shot at it from a machine gun.
Here is an interesting confession from a Ukrainian specialist:
“Russians are very, very good at what they do. They are engaged in black magic in electromagnetic protection. They can jam frequencies, spoof GPS, send a drone to the wrong height so it just falls out of the sky.”
Here is some basic info necessary for understanding Chinese-Russian relations:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpNzv4zwzes
They both need each other. Russia has the lumber and China has the tools. Russia has the guns and China can make a lot of bullets. Russia has the crops and China can process the foods. Looks like the definition of a win-win.
China doesn’t need anything “military” from Russia — just the same commodities as well as the oil/gas resources it has been trading with Russia since.
And given the already large economic Russia-China relationship anyway, there’s little marginal/additional benefit for China to gain from introducing military trade on top of that relative to the risk of pissing off US/NATO (and their aligned nations — Australia, South Korea, Japan, etc) as a result of that.
Which is why, at most, a couple pointless sanctions (which US politicians like to rave about but ultimately don’t care about whatsoever) are pretty much the most they’ll circumvent in favor of Russia. But entertaining any military relationship? The Chinese are quite smarter than that ; )
Wait for it. Can you hear it comming down the lane?
The Mutual Defense Treaty. The economic and military counterweight to NATO Europe and Asia.
The treaty that will eventually bring some of the Brics, namely Iran into it. That would surely, be a good day for Iran and a bad day for Israel.
Imagine, if Saudi Arabia joins it some day followed by the whole Gulf.
Imagine if China replaced IMF loans with Chineese loans paid for in Euro Dollars, that would kill the City of London with frustration. That would like raping the rapist.
Add to that the Fed Chairman Powell saying there is room for more than one reserve currency. No more Euro Dollar hegemony paid for by the US.
Can you imagine that far?
We have to kill the City of London dragon. That’s their mascot by the way. It devours and what it can’t, it burns it down. You have been warned.
Why is Martyanov a “ colleague” of yours?
Ideological colleagues. We’re both trying to prevent the U.S. from committing suicide.
Larry, I am curious as to why your friend Andrei Martyanov became a “ new colleague “ of yours. I hold you both in great regard.
Pasha.
Andrei and I wrote for Pat Lang’s blog prior to 2001. We connected last year. Andrei’s books are must read. I count him as a valued colleague in our mutual effort to prevent a needless nuclear war.
Mr. Andrei Martyanov is a scholar.
I think the simple truth is they need each other. I am happy to see this if for nothing else but the schadenfreude effect. I love think about how this has to make the Western elites feel.
—Their Great Reset is in imminent danger of ever happening.
—Their plans for the few to control the many might be done but it ain’t gonna be by them (W elites).
—Their enormous wealth is in dire straits as the multi polar world will render the uni polar and all its spoils worthless
—This includes gold and land too. Neither are worth a damn if you don’t have a strong military and/or police force to enforce it.
—And no one in the multi polar world wants anything to do with the traitorous scum. Once the old system falls their leverage is gone forever.
And I can drink to that!!
Joe Biden ridiculed the idea of a Russo-Chinese alliance as far back as 1997. I have never understood why so-called experts in the West propagated this idea, since in my view it always was false. It’s not just hypersonic missiles, there are a whole lot of reasons why Russia and China need each other.
These so-called experts seemed to think that Russia needed the West. Therefore, they thought that they could engage in Russia bashing to their heart’s content, the Russians would always come crawling back like a beating dog.
Hubris will be the undoing of the West. Westerners are truly beyond salvation.
“need each other”.
In this blog the notion of need and framing by need has been relatively constant except in regard to “The United States of America”.
This is regularly followed by a notion that the need is ocassioned by threats predicated on the strengths and threats of “hegemonic supermen.”
The use of “each” is also quite prevalent thereby attempting to limit the targets of “hegemonic supermen.” to two at a time.
The usage of “will be” suggests that this happenstance will be a unique event at sometime in the future- not now don’t worry we have god on our side, not an ongoing lateral process.
The use of salvation contains connotations that “divine intervention” is a possibility.
“These so-called experts seemed to think that Russia needed the West.”
It is more fundamental than that.
These so-called, (by people without relevant facility), “experts” believe (thinking being a rare practice) that the rest of the world needed/needs “The United States of America” to intercede with the gods on their behalf given that they are so uncivilised they are part of a cargo cult, to save them from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
“Hubris will be the undoing of the West.”
Their hubris was and continues to be a component facilitating the ongoing co-operative lateral processes of undoing of “The United States of America”.
However much of the facilitation was/is through the coercive social relations misrepresented as “The United States of America” interacting with others in the world, thereby facilitating the rest of the world’s resolve and understanding to co-operate in designing, implementing, evaluating, modifying and implementing with additional resolve and understanding myriad practices to transcend “The United States of America” with their complicity as a function of the beliefs of “The United States of America”.
“The Soviet Union” and “The United States of America” were/are -since they both had/have half-lives – in varying degrees coercive social relations “needing” one another for their mutual temporary sustainability with differing velocities.
Hence a component of the ongoing transcendence of “The United States of America” was the ongoing transcendence of “The Soviet Union” by The Russian Federation with the complicity of “The United States of America”, with the purpose of transcending coercive social relation by social relations based upon mutual co-operation for mutual benefit.
A paper called approximately “Why The Soviet Union needs The United States of America and vice versa” was written in late 1968/early 1969.
It was not written by “US experts” who were concentrating on subjects such as:
“Alienation and the Soviet Economy” by Mr. P.C.Roberts published in 1971 by The University of New Mexico Press.
A second edition was published in 1990 by The Independence Institute to inform a new phase of the ongoing colour revolution attempts from 1985 onwards by “The United States of America” firstly in “The Soviet Union” and subsequently The Russian Federation- the practitioners in/of the emerging Russian Federation having already read the paper and Mr. Paul Craig Roberts’ book.
Hence I suggest that in significant part the ongoing transcendence of “The United States of America” was not facilitated by their hubris which was a symptom, but but the accretions and practices from at least 1776 onwards of “The United States of America” – ergo systemic.
Great links, fantastic song, thx.
