What a difference a decade makes. There was a time when the United States would talk to Russia with at least the pretense of respect. Remember this exchange between then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Barack Obama?
That was then. Mr. Medvedev is singing quite a different tune now. He made this public statement yesterday:
It is useless and unnecessary to appeal to the prudence of our enemies in the West, the enemies must be forced to ask for mercy in the lost economic battle and end it with their complete and unconditional surrender
https://t.me/intelslava/38460
I do not believe that Dimitry Medvedev was drunk or insane when he said this. I believe he is serious and reflects a view that is widely shared among the Russian leadership. The last seven months has been an eye opener for Medvedev and his colleagues in terms of discovering that the Americans and Europe see Russia as a piece of meat to be carved up and consumed. There is no solution based on compromise or negotiation with the west. Medvedev laid it out starkly and concisely–“complete and unconditional surrender.”
I have seen zero media coverage of this. That is alarming. The American people need to understand that Russia ain’t playing and is not going to roll over and submit like a beaten dog just because the United States insists it will continue to funnel arms and money to Ukraine.
Put yourself in the shoes of the Russian leaders and people. Here is what they have seen over the last 8 years since the democratically elected President of Ukraine was ousted by a western backed coup:
- While professing a deep commitment to democracy, America and Europe ignored the voters of Ukraine and helped orchestrate the unlawful removal of President Viktor Fedorovych Yanukovych on the 22 of February 2014.
- In the aftermath of that coup, the newly installed Ukrainian government embarked on a war against Russian speaking Ukrainians. Ukraine wantonly killed civilians and the west remained silent.
- Despite repeated warnings from Russia that it would not tolerate western efforts to bring Ukraine into NATO, the United States and Europe conducted annual military exercises with Ukraine and provided military training and assistance.
- Russia’s attempt to negotiate in December 2021 with the United States over the status of Ukraine was rebuffed.
- In response to Russia’s Special Military Operation, the United States and Europe imposed “draconian” sanctions and embarked on a full scale attempt to punish not just the political leaders of Russia, but all Russians, including denouncing Russia’s rich cultural heritage.
- The United States and Europe continue to supply Ukraine with weapons and ammunition that is being used to kill the newly incorporated citizens of Russia that reside in the Donbas, Kherson and Zaporhyzhia.
- Russia’s effort to negotiate a peace with Ukraine was shutdown by the U.K.’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
- The United Kingdom, Poland and Ukraine announced a trilateral pact to promote Ukraine’s defense and independence in February 2022.
- The Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe and leading U.S. officials are calling for “decolonizing Russia”–i.e., breaking up Russia into geographic regions.
- Russia’s Nordstream gas pipelines were sabotaged.
Now there is something more ominous. Ukraine and Poland are rattling nuclear sabers. Let us start with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who called for the international community to take “preventive action” to deter the potential use of nuclear weapons by Russia in the ongoing war in Ukraine by attacking Russia:
In an address to the Lowy Institute, a nonpartisan international policy think tank in Australia, Zelensky underscored the importance of “preventive strikes, preventive action” so that Russia can get a better picture of the potential consequences if they move to use nuclear weapons.
https://thehill.com/policy/international/3677256-zelensky-calls-for-preventive-action-to-deter-russian-nuclear-strikes/
Vladimir Putin’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov reacted firmly, clearly reflecting President Putin’s position about Zelensky’s foolish remarks:
The United States, the United Kingdom de facto lead the activities of Kiev, and therefore they should be responsible for Zelensky’s statements
https://eprimefeed.com/economy/peskov-called-the-united-states-and-the-united-kingdom-responsible-for-zelenskys-statement/197561/
Poland made mattes worse by claiming this week that it asked the United States to base nuclear weapons in Poland. Polish President Duda told Bloomberg News:
“The problem, first of all, is that we don’t have nuclear weapons,” Duda said in an interview with the Gazeta Polska newspaper published on Wednesday. “There is always a potential opportunity to participate in nuclear sharing.” . . .
In April, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Poland’s de-facto leader as the head of the ruling Law & Justice Party, told the German Welt am Sontag newspaper that his country was “open” to hosting US nuclear weapons.
“We have spoken to American leaders about whether the US is considering such a possibility” of Poland sharing the weapons, Duda told the newspaper. “The topic is open.”

I was a youngster when the Cuban Missile Crisis brought the world to the brink of a nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union. The Soviets reacted to the United States placing nuclear missiles in Turkey and decided to give the United States a taste of its own medicine. The United States was horrified at the prospect of having Soviet missiles 90 miles from our shores and reacted strongly. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and a deal was cut that committed the Soviets to removing the missiles from Cuba followed by the United States removing the nukes from Turkey. Why would anyone sane person think that the west could now place nukes almost on the border of Russia and that Russia would not care nor react? This is madness.
Vladmir Putin is not a delusional paranoid. He is taking the west at its word and accepts the reality that the United States and Europe want to destroy Russia. Putin is committed to preventing that and it is now clear that the members of his government and the people of Russia are awakened to this threat. If you were in Putin’s place, what would you do? How would you react?
I would have Kinzhals visiting D.C and London offices carrying conventional warheads. Does D.C or London return with nuclear, as they haven’t a hope of hitting Moscow with Tomahawks, or do the Neo-cons who survive order meaningful peace talks and a responsible attitude to state security, for all.
But then I have been rightly peed off with listening to D.C and London telling the world what they want for decades.
No. Any ICBM in the air forces full nuclear retaliation before the incoming missile hits.
If the Russkies thought that Launch on Warning was the doctrine of the West, they’d throw a lot of nukes at the West to prevent exactly that. There’s already a lot of wargaming by both sides to figure out how to prevent meaningful retaliation.
The US can’t get off a true “Bolt out of the Blue” first strike without sending a lot of strategic and tactical indicators. At the same time, we’ve seen a number of strategic and tactical indicators of readiness on the Russian side for just that.
Go ahead … Keep poking the bear, and see what happens.
A key point not discussed is that the USA can hit Moscow with nukes in a surprise attack, using low flying Tomahawk missiles fired from our new missile bases in Poland and Romania. The KEY Russian complaint was the USA pulling out of the INF treaty and placing missile launchers in Eastern Europe.
The USA says trust us. These are just defensive missiles to protect Europe from Iran. But those same launchers can fire Tomahawk missiles with nuclear warheads. The USA claims it no longer has such missiles, but is openly developing a new version. No one knows what missiles are in those launchers, including Polish and Romanian leaders, NATO members, and the Russians. And missiles can be swapped out overnight. More details in this short vid.

Back in my day, the joke was that the Cessna 172 was a proven Soviet Air Defence penetrator, but we didn’t kid ourselves that failure to take down a single target for whatever reason meant that their airspace would be easy to penetrate when probed in force. Tomahawks won’t make it to Moscow.
In any case, if there were already nukes forward based in Poland, dollars to donuts that Russian HUMINT would have already picked on that.
Thanks for reminding me: Russia must give Poland a visit to the woodshed very soon. Chihuahua’s shouldn’t pee on Great Dane’s paws.
When I first came across the deagel.com forecasts for 2025 back in 2020, they and the scenarios in their rationale looked fanciful. Today they look more and more likely…
They’ve been pulled from the site in Apr 2021 I think, but can be found on the wayback machine here.
https://web.archive.org/web/20210301202436/https://www.deagel.com/forecast
The disclaimer below the table makes very interesting reading given the talk of nukes in recent weeks and Vlod Baby now asking NATO to send a couple to Rusher with love.
Ah, talk about giveus takeus lendus Elensky, he does have a habit of asking for more and more, and never was a weapon he doesn’t want.
I saw the forecasts on deagela couple of years ago, it’s terrifying! what does it mean? who is deagel? I red that in the past they went wrong some times: in February 2012, for example, the organization predicted a sharp decline in the population of the United States, which by 2020 should have increased from 313 to 248 million inhabitants. The population of the United States in 2020 has grown to exceed 330 million inhabitants.
Provided our EWS picks it up.
This isn’t likely if an EMP is detonated over CONUS.
The USA had best get ready because our destruction cometh.
Russian defe4nses are vastly better than US ones and will stop many of them. However, since Russian missiles are bigger, and many times faster, you won’t be alive to know about it. It seems Americans are incapable of logic anymore, or of facing inconvenient facts. Russia is well advanced in weapons systems, well beyond US ones. You don’t stand a chance in a nuclear exchange. This is where Russia will beat you.
At best, positive attribution would take time, during which the EMP-debilitated US comes apart at the seams. And there is no justification for responding to a non-kinetic EMP attack with the killing of millions in a kinetic nuclear counterstrike based only on unverified suspicion.
Nuclear war can be won, and Russia and other US competitors are well prepared to emerge as victors. Some advice for the US is don’t allow a parochial political agendas or allies to manipulate its decisions.

I would introduce the US to Alabuga.

Actually, maybe they already have:
https://t.me/s/intelslava?before=38531
Since F-35, Class A and C, are capable of delivering nuclear bomb, any talk about launches is really for the public to feel safe, in my opinion. US also flies sorties in F-35 as close as 20 km to Russia’s border. If fitted with a nuke, Russia would perhaps shot it down after the ordinance was dropped, but that would do little to prevent injury to its citizens in the blast radius.
Why US is behaving is a such deranged way ? Russian nuclear expert compared it to playing a Russian roulette with a full magazine.
It is a bloody miracle that we are not at full scale war. Although, how many special forces and contractors one need to conclude US involvement.
Also, why a president has a right to secretly order a war with a nuclear power with a document no-one is able to see?
You ask, “Why US is behaving is a such deranged way ? ”
Because it has been ordered by its Zionist Overlords to start WW3.
According to the Jewish Religion and Talmudic ideology their “Messiah” cannot come until ‘after’ Armageddon/WW3.
About 7 or 8 years ago it was reported in the Israeli Newspaper The Haaretz, that the leading Rabbis of Israel have declared that the Battle of Armageddon will be fought by the US, GB, France, and Israel against Russia, China, and Iran.
And of course the endless demonization of the latter three Countries by World by the 100% Jewish owned World Media has been in overdrive for almost a decade now!
Fuck you.
Your “Blame the JOOS” BULLSHIT has gotten old.
Come at me with that shit and get ventilated.
We are not the “Jews of 1933” and we will ventilate you Joo-Hating, Xtian fucks with prejudice.
Again… Fuck you Brutus.
You sound like a real hero – – at least on line it’s easy to talk tough. Wanker !
You gotta hand it to funny Gunny, at least he didn’t use the Anti-semitism card.
The one truth about zionists. is they always fight from behind cover or from behind the USA, can you say Iran. Ask HizbAllah fighters. Every, eyeball to eyeball engagement with them, the zionist ran. Look at the videos of Israhell’s “invasion” of Lebanon with their Chariots of God. They will avoid death at any cost and when they are defeated they weep like old women.
Here is a question, how come while 6 million are driven to extinction. I mean, not one of the 6 million stood up and fought. Everything comes back full circle, even lies about being the best fighting force.
The tiny hat brigade….lol. Chill out keyboard kommando, y’all ain’t got shit coming ‘Cept disappointment.
How dare you speak such a Truth! Perhaps we should just whisper about this in small conspiracy groups and play it safe while they lay us to waste…
Yes indeed!
And I’ll raise your indeed.
Dear President Putin,
If you are ever going to nuke America I can mail you a map of the location of the Whitehouse and other areas of importance,………but I guess you already know where everything is and because of the utter incompetence of our Techs in high places you may know other things as well.
Please spare “we the people” of America.
I for one am not your enemy, I could not, neither have time for giving a $h!t about your political views.
Sir, when Elon Musk is prepared to send people to Mars could you threaten your politicians and those in America to board that flight and duke it out on Mars?
Just saying.
Sincerely,
No Bunker to hide in.
Ps,
Mr President Putin if it is possible, could you by pass our government and let “we the people” know when and where the preemptive strikes will occur,….not that the government provided for us a place to hide but so I can find a quiet high ground place with my popcorn.
Also I understand that strategically in a nuclear conflict one can never be on the side that’s waiting for a response,….. you’re all in and it is what it is
Got it.
Amen
I did hear him tell the West: “We know where all your underground hideouts are…”
Haven’t you heard of the Kentucky saying: Me and my cousin against a stranger; and me and my brother against my cousin.
Any one who fires on Americans will be fired upon.
i heard that was a pashtun saying..
There are these underwater boats as in “U” Boats. Russia, China, and The US all have them. They are armed with nuclear missiles. They also are already on all boarders. It’s only a matter of who fires them first. When that happens nothing will matter anymore. The earth will go from a beautiful blue to something more resembling 🔥 😈
Russias reaction is one of a sane country, unfortunately the collective west in insane.
I see Russia for now staying calm, I dont know what will get a huge reaction, but when it comes it will be a crushing one, and as usual the west will complain like little bitches they are.
You’ve perfectly laid out what many of us are seriously wondering why no one else is talking about. MSM with their pundits continue to paint their ridiculous narrative. President Putin has been very clear everytime he has spoken and yet, at every turn, the leadership of the collective West and their allies – henchmen, mindless followers? – only escalate in both speech and actions. Absolutely no genuine effort to push for a negotiation or descalation has been forthcoming from any of these torchbearers of democracy and human rights. And now we are in a situation where we actually are depending on the cornered, demonized, attacked party to actually be the bigger person and forgive the abusers. What sort of mad upside down reality do we live in, that few dare to even voice this?
Thanks for all your cogent analysis, Larry – look forward to it every day..
Putin is an immensely sane, well read, careful and rational actor; a true son of Russia. Its worth watching Oliver Stone’s four part documentary “The Putin Interviews” to get a glimpse of this.
Putin should ask his forces to turn lights, water and telecoms out in Kiev immediately and let the little shithead contemplate further damage to come. One thing that baffles me is why is he waiting to do so? I understand the mobilization of reserves etc. takes time, but hitting the nerve center with standoff weapons should be immensely easy. How many more “red lines” need to be crossed?
hanging back till the winter is my guess . then bammm
That was I was thinking too.
Waiting for the ground to freeze so not to get bogged down in the mud.
Ukraine has paved roads you imbecile.
This is NOT 1942.
Tanks & weapons don’t only use paved roads. Who’s the imbecile? You ??
Not for long dingbat/.
Armored vehicles are rail-headed, not driven overland, for positioning. They are rarely moving large distances (say > 50km) for many reasons (powerful and complex engines and tracks that are difficult to maintain in the field for one, plus supply).
Tanks are vulnerable in line on a road. They are least vulnerable moving forward together, with their collective firepower reigning down on the enemy. Infantry vehicles (like U.S. Bradleys) follow tanks in movements, never lead them unless they’re scouts. That many tracked vehicles in the large, open fields now after it’s rained for weeks in Ukraine (the condition of most of the battlefield, with some forests thrown in ) will eat the ground up fast, hindering rear supply movements and plain infantry units.
Perhaps before throwing out “you imbecile”… well. You’re a jarhead, aren’t you?
Currently, Russia still supplies natural gas to Ukraine
Aesop has a different analysis and disagrees.
Aesop is in over his head. He doesn’t know how much he doesn’t know.
As a strategic war-gamer and analyst, Aesop makes a great paramedic.
I think Aesop takes these contrary opinions to provoke people to respond, then he gleefully expounds with his usual ad hominem diatribes. I stopped enabling him quite some time ago
AssSlop is either functionally retarded or an AgitProp.
He should probably sit down, shut up, and let the adults in the room talk.
So people still read Aeslop? I remember when he was wetting his panties to take the “Non-GMO” Moderna vaccine and everyone who didn’t should be d*ck-slapped. Now he wants everyone to forget and everyone who takes the vaccine should be d*ck-slapped.
I don’t even read WRSA anymore because Pete posts his crap. Which is why I can’t take these people serious.
Not one more inch Western Degenerate Globohomo said… again, and again, and again.
The Ukraine Revolution was to eliminate Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in the same way the Syria Revolution was to remove Russia’s Tartus Naval Base.
Which reminds me: Once unleashed…where does destroying The Otan’s bases end? Anything near the Russian naval base in Syria becomes fair game…and any nation aligned with DC is too:
Check.
Aesop might have American citizenship but isn’t an American. He is, how shall we say? He’s America’s greatest Ally and gleefully cheer leading Europeans killing Europeans.
The war in Ukraine is a horrible waste of life and treasure. It was entirely avoidable where the Ukraine and Russia both could have had a Win-Win deal.
I think Putin has numerous political agendas and the war in Ukraine reflects them. One is to unite the Global South behind Russia, to secure 83% of the world as a stable firing platform not only for Russian economic development but for political support of Russia’s war on Davos. For that is who he is taking the fight to.
By not harming the citizens of Ukraine his actions show him to be a sane and measured leader. Demonstrating by action, not words, Russia’s goal in Ukraine is to win militarily by time and attrition not by citizen slaughter.
There was an excellent Scott Ritter interview on his website last week in which he speaks with a Russian Duma official. It was clear if this official was in charge the West would be a charred ruin. He also states that in 2 to 3 weeks Ukraine will have no water, no electricity, no heat, no internet. You could see Scott was a bit shaken.
Will the Duma force Putin into shutting down all of Ukraine? We will see, he may be waiting to see if the MAGA contingent wins through in November and ushers in somewhat saner people. The West is run by Davos appointed lunatics who could care less if everyone of us were dead as long as they, “won.” As our military is a shadow of its former self we would not win this one, I doubt if many of us would survive. Could be wrong 🙂
“Could be wrong…” — Bonami
And so could I, but we agree…
Putin is no fool, nor is the Russian leadership generally. They understand who opposes them — attacks and harries them — at every opportunity. Further, they understand, now most certainly, that whatever is left of “Ukraine” after the war cannot be allowed to remain under western control — because that left-over will remain a failed state, with all that implies, on Russia’s border.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think Russia, or Putin if you prefer, finds that prospect appealing. It was at least possible that Russia would invite Poland into eastern Ukraine, ratifying Zelensky’s administrative transfer of power, before the Nordstream attacks, but given subsequent Polish rhetoric and nuclear ambitions…?
My SWAG is that Russia’s mobilization is partly a defensive precaution, partly relief for the SMO forces, and partly to provide NATO and Europe with a conventional display of shock and awe as they roll over western Ukraine… then occupy and rebuild it as a demilitarized, neutral country in Russian orbit.
With all of this diviying up of Khrushchev’s eastern Ukraine I’m surprised that no one has brought up the fact that, until September 1939, western Ukraine was known as Polish Galicia. Maybe Poland wants it back?
Until 1919, all of Ukraine minus the areas being contested which were gifted to Ukraine by Lenin and Khrushchev, were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. According to Benjamin Freedman, who was at Versailles, it was the (((bankers))) who wrote the Treaty to guarantee another war. Versailles has been the gift that keeps on giving.
Until 1914, according to a 2014 Wikipedia article I saved on file, Galacia was a “Jewish kingdom.” That tidbit is now flushed down the memoryhole at Wikipedia, which even hides the article.
But to be honest, I think a better alternative for a “Rump state” for Zelenskyy and Co. to slink away to is the former “Ruthenia” which skirted the northern Romanian and eastern Hungarian borders, took a bite out of today’s eastern Slovakia, and a nibble out of S.E. Poland. I think this is where the “biblical Ruth” was actually from. Take a look for yourselves: does this look like Israel? Do they look like your idea of Israelities/”Moabites”? Or more…Danish/German? [Source: Jewish Woman’s Archives]
https://jwa.org/encyclopedia/article/ruth-bible
I believe the fellow in green outfit (like Zelenskyy always wears…and I witnessed him rubbing green paint on his leg on video) is actually depicting “Otan”…Odin…the Aton…one-eyed. It’s the blond hair and the hat he wears that convince: one can find exact same character in Ur III iconography…except that allegedly dates from 2600 BC…Odin dates almost 2000 years later…odd that. But it does align with King Den of Old Kingdom Egypt…a red-head himself…isn’t that…odd? Yes, the real biblical “Dan” was Odin.
A lot of Narrative “hot air balloons” gonna be popped by S-400s. The Boomerrang they never saw coming…back. The enemy have big brains, little to no empathy and @ a 1,450,000 year planetary head start on “modern” humans….a very formidable opponent. But they don’t label us “modern” because “we stupid.” Perhaps too tolerant and trusting, yes…but stupid…no. That is always their big failure.
It’s almost like a Hollywood production: “The Last Days of the Neanderthal Kings.” Get the popcorn ready folks, the next 3 months is a Blockbuster.
Or, we can all go watch “Bros.” Maybe Zelenskyy and Blinken will star in the xxx version remake.
I’d bet my next paycheck that they actually couldn’t care less if we were dead.
Russia is fighting NATA/USA in Ukraine because that is where NATO/USA chose as the battle ground in their attempt to dismember Russia. Putin knows that the only role the Ukrainian civilians have in this war is as cannon fodder. He has and continues to have the intention of saving as many civilians in Ukraine as he can.
There are true NAZI elements within Ukraine that have undue influence within the Ukrainian government and its military. Ukraine’s corrupt government welcomes these NAZI elements as allies of Ukraine and NATO/USA. The typical Ukrainian civilian is truly caught in the middle of this conflagration.
Putin still attempts to spare the civilians as much pain and suffering as he can.
There is no NAZI element in Ukraine. There have been ultra nationalists in Ukraine for 200 years, long before the NSDAP existed. You can still find some of them in Canada who emigrated in the 19th century and post WWI. The Bandarists saw the Waffen SS as a means to an end – an independent Ukraine. When Germany refused to recognize it as such, they turned on Germany. What kind of “NAZI” would be in favour of being under the control of the international banking cartel’s EU and IMF, Jewish oligarchs owning the Presidency, and declaring it wanted to be a Big Israel?
None of course. My thesis is that the alleged Ukrainian Nazis the Russians are uptight about are a false flag operation run by Jewish or Israeli oligarchs and possibly supported by the Jewish elements of western governments. No real Nazi would work for Jews.
https://theintercept.com/2022/10/05/russia-ukraine-putin-cia/
There is this recent article from the Intercept that reports increased activity of both CIA and Special Operations inside Ukraine. Seems like we are already at war with Russia. I’m surprised Russia has been so reserved about striking targets in the West of Ukraine over the last month or so. Supply networks and training facilities should be fair game. They’re really holding back.
Indeed. At least no Zelensky’s blubbering nukes. And make no mistake about his back tracking, I listened to his native speech and he said a “nuclear strike” against Russia verbum in Ukrainian.
Because , then the lights and others items get turned off in Russia to include gas valved to asia and nuclear power plants industrial controls.
I’d send Biden a change of underwear.
He won’t know how to put it on and, if pain comes to DC, his advisors will have run away, just after wetting their pants
You are right. He’ll think it’s a snow cap and put it on before his press conference.
I am not at all concerned that Russia will use nuclear weapons first. Obviously, Russia will use them to respond if attacked with nuclear weapons, but unless that happens, I do not expect Russia to be the first to use them. I also do not expect that Russia will expand the conflict outside of the borders of Ukraine unless one of the NATO countries initiates it first. I think the Russian administration is being extremely careful not to give any NATO country a reason to enter the conflict directly.
I can’t say the same for the USA, unfortunately. I am hoping that we can get to the US midterm elections before any serious escalation occurs. I think this is a significant factor that is part of Russia’s calculus. So I see that Russia seems to be sort of in a pause mode while it gets its newly mobilized forces ready. Once these forces are ready, Russia will be in a position to take the conflict to a whole new level, but I expect this to happen after the election in the USA.
I fully agree with Pete’s take. I too think that US elections are a significant factor in Russian war plans. The action will begin after the results are out and the ground freezes in Ukraine.
The problem being a likely corruption of the mid-term elections and a Democrat “victory”.
“The problem being a likely corruption of the mid-term elections and a Democrat “victory”.”
That will guarantee The Second American Civil War, and unlike the first, there will be no re-unification; the former United States will Balkanise.
The problem is that the Americans “behind the big pond” (actually between two) still feel quite safe – and that, in my opinion, despite everything, not entirely unjustified … if we leave out the “general nuclear war” for once …
Wait til the first air craft carrier goes down in the Mediterranean or South China Seas, then all hell breaks loose
Where once those ‘ponds’ provided impassible barriers to aggression they now provide perfect cover for a whole fleet of well armed submarines which rotate in and out of service just beyond territorial limits. Thus saving the cost, collateral damage and vicissitudes of hosting a base in a nearby country.
This. The people behind this conflict can’t see any down side for them and they don’t give a damn about anyone else. I read on another site somewhere, “You could solve most of our problems by dragging around 100 people out into the street and shooting them in the head.” Maybe some targeted assassinations are in order to bring personal consequences to those pulling the strings.

sound,s sensible . I hope it,s the way to go.
Mr. Clark: What makes you think the “Midterms” will change anything? If TPTB and their criminal minions can steal a general election, then to abrogate the results of the upcoming “Elections” is no big deal. I and my tribe are prepped for the worse case scenario of Thermonuclear War. I was in 10th grade during the Cuban Missile Crisis, served in the Army during VN, and was an active reservist for years. Putin, whether you like him or hate him, will push the button when backed into a corner. Plan accordingly.
For starters any such outcome in the US is going to spark a massive wave of political violence. The Brandon regime has already shown it can’t walk and chew gum at the same time.
Haha, sure you are. That’s why you have to make it known to everyone here… Poseur.
I do not expect that the midterms will change anything for Russia, at least not immediately. However, I don’t think that Russia wants to do anything that will give the Biden administration something to increase their political advantage.
As far as the midterms themselves, I do expect that the Republicans will most likely take both the House and the Senate, and this may slow down the Biden trainwreck, especially if the House decides to impeach Biden.
I remember very clearly the Cuban missile crisis as well. It is difficult to make comparisons of one crisis to another, but clearly the current situation is very different even though equally dangerous or perhaps more dangerous. Russia has not and is not threatening to use nuclear weapons in spite of what you might be seeing in the western media and from the Biden administration itself.
Russia does not actually possess tactical nuclear weapons because if and when Russia is forced to use nuclear weapons, it will be all in, and that will be the end of our species. There will be no survivors. There will only be those who die quickly and those who die slowly, but in the end, there will be no humans on the planet.
It is only the US that thinks that nuclear weapons can be used without destroying all of humanity. Everyone remembers how close the world came to extinction during the Cuban missile crisis in 1962. How many Americans recall that the US also considered using nuclear weapons against China during the Korean war? How many remember how close we came in 1968 when tactical nuclear weapons were being prepared as part of the “Fracture Jaw” offensive, https://warontherocks.com/2018/10/how-close-did-the-united-states-actually-get-to-using-nuclear-weapons-in-vietnam-in-1968/.
I am impressed that you have such inside information about Vladimir Putin’s intentions, and that you know what he will do. I live in Russia and I have actually met Putin at an economic forum where he gave a speech, but I don’t have such an insight to know what Putin will do. My impression is that he is well aware of the consequences of a nuclear war and that he and his administration is following a well thought out plan. I think he intends to avoid a direct conflict with NATO if at all possible – it does depend on NATO. I am quite sure that he is not contemplating the use of nuclear weapons at all at this time.
What will an election do? Lindsey Graham just threatened political persecution at Musk because the latter called for peace. McConnell is pulling funds from anyone with a hint of America First and backing the biggest RINOs. 150 Republicans in Michigan are backing Whitmer the Witch. Already we hear GOP leadership downplaying any thoughts of a Biden impeachment if they take back Congress.
The GOP sat back and let the White House be captured by traitors with an agenda to collapse our way of life. They are worse than useless- they’re some of the the biggest backstabbers in history.
Agree. Anyone hoping that a Republican midterm sweep will bring saner people to positions of influence is delusional. It’s not just that Democrat and Republican Congressmen agree completely on Russia and the war—the CIA, State Dept, K Street think tanks, Israel lobby change not a whit if it’s a Dem or Republican regime. Even if some Trumpists get elected, they won’t be able to affect anything of importance
The political parties are privately owned — bought-and-paid-for — affairs. Considered investments, along with direct campaign contributions, they return a tidy profit in government contracts.
As Carroll Quigley opined, the two congressional parties should be “as alike as two sides of a coin, so the people can throw the rascals out at any election without affecting the policies” of the United States government…
Agreed. The US has a “bicephalic single-party” system of government, unlike every other country on the planet (American exceptionalism, yaaay!!).
Graham makes me want to puke! I am ashamed to have ever voted for the treasonous bastard. He is a blot on SC’s history as was his mentor (Mc Stain). What a destructive crew of traitors to the rule of law!
“CIA-elected for life” Ladyboy Lindsey. Hard to imagine what dirt the DS has on this cheeseburger.
Agree.
Criminal’s are more likely to commit crimes when they know there is a low probability of being caught. The US and the west, with it’s dominance over the information battlespace, can commit any crime, like sabotaging the Nordstream pipeline, blame it on Russia, and get away with it.
What is to stop, either the US, Ukraine or some other western proxy from creating a nuclear event, knowing they can get away with it, because it will be blamed on Russia? Is the information battlespace being prepped now by the US, with all the talk about nuclear weapons use by Russia?
I’m more worried about the US or its proxies committing a criminal nuclear crime, than Russia.
I want to believe that this is all American brinksmanship, and that our leaders want to avoid nuclear war as much as anyone else, but it is really starting to look like American hubris, instead. The Russians, and the world, need to hurry the f up and crush Ukraine, by any means necessary and break EU/NATO as soon as possible so the genie can be put back in the bottle. In this context, the Saudi move to sell energy to Europe (but not the US) at a discount may be premature. The fall of the US puppets in Europe is essential to future peace.
I would preemptively hit Kiev and Warsaw with nukes then cite the statements of these two government officials as the reasons why.
you’re a dumb shit . if nukes start you can practice your yoga & stick your head between your leg,s &kiss your ass goodbye.
Why is your life worth anything?
Why is ANY of our lives worth anything.
None of us are getting out of this alive.
Deal with it.
Well that’s one way to give them nukes. Be careful what you ask for.
Once that trigger is pulled all political boundaries will be measured by rooms and legal jurisdictions by line-of-sight yardage. I often wonder at the talk of rationales and legal justification etc. Using nukes is like being a school shooter – no reason is good enough, no justification is acceptable.
Idiot
Since Poland is a NATO member, that’s the most stupid comment on this board.
Well I respect your opinion, I don t agree with you but that is something that you are allowed to have because you live in the (“horrible”) west.
You should try having a different opinion of the official in Russia
Personally Poland has been and is a complete shocker,
first Demanding 1.2 trillion from Germany,
demanding Norway shares her energy bounty and gives lower prices.
then they think threatening people with WMD despite not even possessing them yet is a great idea and a symbol of sanity.
Meanwhile I hear about protests in the former DDR, these people have a built in instinct to not trust the official line on just about everything.
Putin is in a tricky spot in the eyes of some people, but personally I think its the attitudes and responses of our combined west which is driving this crises deeper and all out of our own making, my current prime minister is trying to get global censorship laws passed to prevent any wrong thought or wrong speech banned. This is a complete 180 of the values and rules one imagines a western statesman would mean when they proclaim a rules based order.
to his credit he is able to and does have the flexibility to react to changing conditions and adjust to new realities, this is something we in the west are almost unable to do, we will double down and continue to proceed in the wrong direction despite all the evidence to we should do the contrary.
The US administration is clearly furious at Saudi now, I don’t know how they think they could get away with calling the leader a criminal and promising to make them an phyrah state. this is also after murdering an Iranian peace negotiator in Iraq prior to a peace meeting between iran, iraq and saudi…. personally I read this as a declaration of war against any one in the middle east who thought they might have a chance at peaceful relations in the region that the US would go out of there way to keep the region in conflict.
Im also at odds with how Saudi wound up in a war in Yemen which is currently enforced with a us navel blockade. clearly it would be in Saudi interests to get un involved with this conflict.
The rhetoric currently coming out of the white house is not something I would attribute to a well meaning peaceful state on the rise. whereas Putin has made statements of a clear plan for the future that sounds inviting to all participants and promises to treat all as equals, with the financial backing of china, the energy and scientific output of Russia behind it, this all backed up by approachable diplomats that don’t demand or berate others and are willing to listen and talk.
I am shocked that the stupid Poles are making absurd demands of the Germans while also threatening Russia. They did that in 1939 and it didn’t work out well.
Ukraine is being used by the West just like Poland was used in 1939. Told not compromise, we got your back. Poland was destroyed in World War II. It even had treaty, but the French and British did little to help when the Germans and Russians invaded. Details here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOgNHBa_ZPM
When did Poland or Ukraine invade Russia?
1919 – 1921 Poland waged war against Russia.
Ukraine was always a part of Russia until 1917, in the Peace Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, Russia accepted the independence of Ukraine, Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
In the Treaty of Versailles, the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was declared invalid and the Soviet Union reoccupied Ukraine, later also Latvia and Estonia.
In 1945 at Yalta, Churchill and Roosevelt gave away all of Eastern Europe and the eastern half of Germany to Stalin.
Of I were Putin….
I think I would have already dropped a Sarmat on
38° 53′ 42.40″ N
-77° 02′ 10.93″ W
That he has not has either demonstrated his humanity or naivete.
Don’t forget 51.5123° N, 0.0910° W (City of London) and
47.550770° N, 7.595030° W (Bank of International Settlements)
Are we forgetting 46° 48′ 7.6608” N, 9° 50′ 0.5172” E?
Agree. I do wonder sometimes if Putin is too soft, unwilling to take the hard decisions required?
Hubris. You have a President who has violated the law and Constitution for years at no cost. A ruling class in Washington, DC. that has spread death and destruction across the world at no cost to the USA. We kill women and children, bomb towns flat, and suffer no consequences here. What happens the day a nuclear power says no to us? And in our hubris, we continue our path? That is our present. May whatever Diety you pray to listen.
Mate. you have it pretty well nailed . if we are not very carefull the U.S is going to be responsible for blowing mankind back into the stone age. Sadly the U.S. is the evil empire.
George Lucas nailed it, IMO, wrt who the rebels were, with the republic ending with thunderous applause (cue patriot act). Note, the emperor = neo-con bureaucracy – it just doesnt matter who is elected – la plus ca change, la plus…..
“Are we the baddies?”

Watched CNN for the first time in ages. They call the latest moves by Ukraine forces a rout,Russians are fleeing disorganized dropping weapons, and the borders are overwhelmed with draftees leaving Russia. Putin is being given an exit strategy.
This is nuts and this is what many believe.
The latest narrative scheme is to provoke regime change in Russia – just add up the recent comments by Zelensky ( negotiate but not with Putin), Biden ( Putin has to be removed), Blinken, et.al – that’s the new scheme topped with global nuclear anxiety to put pressure on Russia at UN, etc. The game is obvious.
Well too bad for them cause 87% of Countries support Russia, hence Medvedev telling the West they can kiss Russia’s arse.
No they don’t. Why would you post such lies, unless you’re an enemy of the USA?
“If you were in Putin’s place, what would you do? How would you react?”.
Probably not as cautiously as he has. Nor as long-sufferingly. I’d be more like Medvedev I’m afraid.
You’re right: If I were Putin – I would already have acted like a psychopath. After the sinking of the “Moskwa”, the killing of Daria Dugina, the shelling of the Zhaporizya Power Plants, the destruction of NS 1 and 2 and the claims about mass murder in Butcha and other places…
Are the mad (wo-)men in Washington, London or Brussels aware how coolheaded and restrained the Russians have acted til today?
Our leadership consists of bad-behaving, spoiled children and they think they can act this way til to the bitter end.
I really fear that soon there will be a nuclear explosion in Ukraine – and it won’t be a Russian bomb causing the mushroom cloud.
As a European it’s a real nightmare – like sitting in a car which is driven by a suicidal madmen.
Our leadership in Washington, London and Brussels behave like Robots following orders even to the detriment of their own people
Who’s really in charge?
The voters-LOL
Ah, yeah … that fairy tale about democracy 🙂 … it is only there to keep us believing we can decide something, so we all play along in this endless Muppet-Show and pay our taxes as the dumb sheep we are already being treated as.
Thanks for reminding us about that 🙂
Indeed the question of the age – Who’s really in charge?
Yes, me too. Putin has indeed shown great restraint. Many of us would have acted much more in line with Ramzan Kadyrov (minus the nukes).
It’s quite amazing the lack of quality in the people who call Pres. Putin deranged or a barbarian. It’s pure projection.
Consider not just the current, but all the provocations and crimes the Russians have endured at the hands of these internationalists since they hijacked the 1rst Russian Revolution (primarily agrarians socialists who wanted an end to serfdom) with the 2nd RR that installed what quickly became a predominately non-Russian regime which mass murdered Russian Christians by the millions. Seven decades later, after ethnic Russians have finally gained control over the alien system ruling over them and they try to reform it in the late 1980’s (harkening to the spirit of the 1rst RR), it falls apart and the internationalists, this time from Harvard, once again come to blood harvest their people for fun and profit.
I think that Pres. Putin’s restraint is a calculated and disciplined thing. It does not come from naivete or mindless good will. One of the many dark legacies of internationalist Bolshevism was a complete gutting of rule of law and its governance. His project is rebuilding his people’s civilization. Cultivating self-sustaining rules-based systems is crucial for establishing the predictability necessary for economic development.
Putin’s restraint in international affairs is simply an extension of this. It’s why he didn’t begin the Ukraine conflict by simply exterminating nests of enemy decision makers when it is most certainly within his capability to do so. He has an eye on how thing will look after. Justice for one’s dead bests manifests as securing a future for one’s living and unborn.
Well said, Horace. A well-crafted history lesson.
I believe that the seemingly visceral hatred of Russia of our supposed elites is the sense of betrayal the Western left felt when the Soviet Union collapsed. After long decades/generations the Russian people couldn’t suffer any longer and dissolved the worker’s paradise, abandoning the loyal moles that had selflessly suffered decadent capitalism, while worming their way up in Western institutions, just as they were reaching a position to unify the world under glorious Marxism. The left views the Russian people as weak and feckless and intends to punish them for what they view as a betrayal.
If I were Russian today, I would be very very worried, as anybody confronted by a gang led by a violent armed delusional drunkard could be.
Regarding the nuclear option, I am afraid all those talks are only the beginning of a long journey. I agree with PCR that it was a Russian mistake to wait so long before really commiting a big army in Ukraine. USA act as a bully, and you know that quick reaction is what best stop a bully.
The Russian need to strike now.
They must react strongly also because it is very important that they keep the upper hand in order to keep ongoing the supportive dynamic they managed to trigger in most of the world.
Where to strike hard?
What about Syria, where the US soldiers have never been invited?
If I were Putin, I’d start the counterattack, at the Army’s schedule, and push NATO to Dunkirk. A Posideon in the English Channel may be prudent; where to put the other 5?
I think a bunch of submariners will be getting a sun tan and drinking Rum at a port o’ call before 8th Nov.
Anyone missing a sub lately?
Larry I just don’t understand the delusional thinking of our overlords. At times it feels like the inmates are running the asylum. It is unbelievable that the corporate media runs along with the narrative with no forethought regarding consequences to the country and also the world. We are doomed
to understand how western ‘leaders’ think and what motivates them , and why they are such good actors and liars – read one or both of these great books on psychopaths.
They simply cannot be honest, caring or respectful or feel guilty for what they do..due to their mental defects. They learn very early to pretend and act, hide what they really are. THey understand they are very differnet from normal people and that they need to hide it
THey cannot care about anyone even if they want to and putting a psychopath in a position of power is like putting a fox in charge of a hen house.
Especially if these psychopaths come from a particular psychopath support group masqueraded as a ‘culture’ – in which case they are like a psychopath squared.
Here are free pdfs of the best 2 books I have read on the subject:
from the inventor of the psychopath test:

from a doctor from Harvard using her own real life examples:

Another good book about how a ‘culture’ can be structured as a psychopath support group:

The only thing that brought the North Vietnamese to the peace table was when Nixon started bombing Saigon.
I dont think Putin wants peace talks. He wants terms of surrender and is in a better position than the U.S. was back then.
You forget that the U.S. deserted their post,s in Hanoi when the Viet Cong was about to snabble them . I RECALL THE PIC,S OF THE get to the chopper .ARNIE SCWHARZENNEGGER MOMENTS. old age bring,s a new enlightenment ,if you survive long enough to see that.
It was Saigon not Hanoi.
Thank you! I tried to post a comment about that but it didn’t work.
But that was “Michael’s” mistake. “Roly’s” was, oddly, the opposite. He said Hanoi, but meant Saigon. Both probably born in the ’80s.
Its only facts.
YIKES! I think you must’ve meant “Hanoi,” not Saigon Big diff.
I dunno, only if you lived in Saigon. Given Kamela Harris’ remarks on their great alliance with the Republic of North Korea the other day – for a country wishing to be the global hegemon, they ain’t too big on geography…
Nixon did not bomb Saigon. Saigon was the capital of South Vietnam and home base of the U.S. forces there. So, “Nixon bombing Saigon” obviously never brought the North Vietnamese to the peace table. By the way, where was the “peace table” located? Was it in Saigon, which Nixon never bombed? Or was it some other “peace table” in some other place?
The lack of knowledge displayed by posters on such an erudite site as Larry’s is very disturbing, and is a good case study for why the U.S. government follows the propaganda model so assiduously. People like Michael, who obviously have no understanding of their own history, only need to hear their master’s voice and they parrot the talking point. Learn your history, Michael, or leave the posting to the educated adults in the room.
All of this escalation started with a STOLEN US Presidency! If I were you, I would pay very close attention to this post!
Actually it goes back to the West breaking its promise to Gorbachev not to move NATO one inch to the east following the re-unification of Germany (1991)
but in more recent terms
the unexpected 2016 Donald Trump electoral win and presidency
i.e., MONKEY WRENCH TO THE DEEP STATE PLANS,
gave President Putin Four more years to stockpile weapons, build/secure critical relationships (China) and prepare for the inevitable.
During the 2016 campaign, Hillary never stopped saying Russia, Russia, Russia
How would things have turned out differently if
Ace-warmonger and Scorched Earth President Hillary Rodham Clinton was in office on January 21st 2017 to carry out the Diabolical Plans of the Deep State
If it was’nt for the voters in 2016, we would already be in a Nuclear Winter in 2022 and websites would have been a dream of the past.
Well, while that is true, it has not escaped my attention that one Donald Trump was the President when General Soleimani was set up and murdered. I, for one, am disinclined to make excuses for him for that atrocity.
Pipelines being sabotaged are bad, but that was an action – a precedent – that did not escape notice in the wider world. You know, the rest of the world to whom no one in the West feels it necessary to pay any attention? Whelp, the times they is a’changin’, and won’t our misleaders be surprised?
Your first paragraph must be sarcasm that is too deep for me.
Otherwise, you are a friend of jihadi terrorists.
I don’t think there’s another choice.

I prefer the word “respond” to “react”, especially regarding Mr. Putin, because he is thoughtful and measured in his responses. He’s planning several moves ahead, his planning with PM OBS to announce cutting OPEC output, which will spike gs prices a couple of weeks before the mid terms, Putin’s “October Surprise”, should do wonders for the mid terms!
It’s a guess, but Scott Ritter thinks Putin’s “holding back” so far, was to purposefully raise public sentiment to be FOR the call up. I’ve read many more have volunteered who didn’t have to. This has turned into The Great Patriotic War, 2.0!
Garland Nixon has a youtube channel and he’s hilarious, in a serious way. He’s a marial artist and Putin’s a Black Belt. One day a week, he has a Premium show on Rokfin with Scott. His regular show about PM OBS and the OPEC cuts is:

The desperation of the globalists and their trained monkeys in Washington and London to initiate global war is astounding. Russia is sidestepping the landmine and time is on their side because the desperation will become apperent to everyone sooner than later….well maybe not the braindead mask wearing Western audience
With respect to the bullet points:
» In response to Russia’s Special Military Operation, the United States and Europe imposed “draconian” sanctions and embarked on a full scale attempt to punish not just the political leaders of Russia, but all Russians, including denouncing Russia’s rich cultural heritage. «
The sanctions actually went into effect Feb 22 in response to the recognition of the LDNR.
The sanctions had been prepared months in advance.
Putin stated in a speech to the Russian people that they would inevitably be applied sooner or later no matter what Russia did or did not do.
People forget that when Russia moved troops into Donetsk Feb 23 a ceasefire was on offer to discuss the new borders, but Ukraine responded by shelling the Russian troops. Ukraine could easily have saved itself at that late juncture.
» Russia’s effort to negotiate a peace with Ukraine was shutdown by the U.K.’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. «
And by the Bucha thing
While this travesty/ tragedy plays out on the main stage, the inevitable conclusion is mapped out back stage. https://thecradle.co/Article/Interviews/16536
Russian leadership is talking the tough way that they are because they have the upper hand against the Global American Empire (GAE), and they don’t have to pretend to be weak (as they have been doing for a few decades). RF has a decisive weapons superiority over GAE in AD and precision strike, not to mention land warfare. RF is moving from strength to strength – Georgia, Syria, CAR, Mali, Burkina Faso, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, etc. Important GAE minions such as KSA know what way the wind is blowing and are switching sides purely out of self-interest. KSA leadership was severely shaken by the Yemen drone attack on KSA refineries – Iranian drones that evaded US AD-systems. KSA, and pretty much every other state, knows that only RF can provide actual security now.
DE is going to fully embrace RF, it’s been in the works since the early 1980s, and the final push is here to get GAE out of DE. Not that difficult really – less than 10,000 US troops there. Once RF removes GAE from UKR, it’s over – DE is free.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Never thought it would happen to us as the sole remaining superpower, though. The neocon regime is the new “Evil Empire.”
Great insights.
I think that Putin should assume that this American administration is insane enough to use nukes or WMDs, and that he should prepare accordingly.
As to immediate steps that the Russians could take, 5 things come to mind:
#1 – deploy every SM400, 500 (and any defensive system we don’t know about) they have to try and ensure that any incoming nuke payload from a sub, air or land can be taken out (I am sure that this has already been done).
#2 – make an example NOW of what Russian escalation looks like, eg:
a – hit western Ukraine with 3 straight days of merciless bombing and air strikes. Knock out all electricity, energy, comms, the lot.
b – destroy leadership HQs wherever they are found in Ukraine – in particular, those with NATO/US/UK staff – with hypersonic weapons.
c – scare the living daylights out of Biden and Co, eg by somehow showing them that Russian military assets are right off the US coast undetected.
#3 – drop dirt on what the Biden’s and Clinton’s have been up to all these years, just prior to mid terms. Or let these crooks know what might be exposed.
#4 – demand payment of uranium exports to the US in rubles.
#5 – lean on Beijing to dump Tbonds/$US debt.
I won’t even mention clandestine activities that Moscow could consider, in particular to damage the US economy. There are just so many.
#1 #2 #3 #4 #5.could be done now / asap. Then in a few weeks, launch a massive winter offensive when the ground freezes.
Just some thoughts.
I still don’t think the Pentagon is so stupid.
Regardless of what politicians say there is practically zero chance any will use nukes.
The only idiots who would do something really stupid are the Poles or Zelensky. If America gives the jackals of Europe a nuke God help us.
But I still have faith in the Pentagon they are not going to let it get that far…it would go against everything the wise heads in the US have trained it’s military on.
But the question is whether the politicians will listen and whether the Pentagon will step in to override a civilian order..I actually think they would.
Milley. Your going to put the fate of humanity in the hands of a feckless, craven toady like Milley.
Well Elensky said he wouldn’t speak to Putin. So I guess we just have to get Putin to go on leave for a couple of weeks and get Medvedev to stand in his stead – yeah the guy that won the war in Georgia in 5 days. How would Elensky like them apples?
Sounds like Zelinsky wants NATO to launch a “Special Military Operation” inside Russia. I thought Russia was about to collapse, why would NATO need to do anything to Russia now Z-boy?
A vicious retaliation, provide Iran access to the nuclear club. Likely not feasible now that Saudis are sliding towards the BRICS.
Biden tells Democrat donors tonight that we’re at risk of nuclear war.

The West has been poking the Bear since WW1 when Field Marshal von Hindenberg & Gen. Ludendorf employed a team of ethnographers to invent a “Ukrainian Nation” and indoctrinate 50k PoWs in its “history”, “(written) language” and a virulently anti-Russian resentment for the specific purpose of putting a hornets nest under the Czar’s helmet.
The Soviets managed to drive the hornets back into their nest in Lwów, but never fully exterminated them. The CIA kept the nest alive through the Cold War and when the Soviet Union collapsed, the West went back in with all the money, nutrients & meth needed to turn the nest back into an angry swarm.
The historical details of UA’s invention before the Soviets got hold of it, and then its resurrection after the Soviets collapsed, if known, pull the rug out from under any claims that Russia “invaded a sovereign nation”.
I’ve no idea whether they were familiar with MacKinder, but von Hindenberg and Ludendorf certainly understood the strategically pivotal value of the lands at the Western periphery of the Russian Empire.
Almost a century later, Brzezinski echoed vH & L and MacKinder when he said: “It cannot be stressed enough that without Ukraine, Russia ceases to be an empire, but with Ukraine… Russia automatically becomes an empire.”
What Brzezinski meant is that Russia would gain full control of MacKinder’s Heartland and from there would be able to influence events, not only across Eurasia, but around the world. It would thus dilute America’s own Imperial ambition to become the only one able to do that. That’s why the US continues to send $Bs there and hoping Russia collapses/gets bored/runs out of ammo/goes broke before it brings UA under consolidated control. Sholtz, Macron, Blinken et al may have only a vague idea what failure means, but the realists know exactly what it means. The West will lose the advantages of thievery over honest toil that it’s enjoyed for centuries.
Excellent analysis. Yes, the ethnographer who was sent to Galicia was an Austrian, precisely as you stated – to stir up hatred of the Russians by the Red Ruthenians. There is no such thing as a ‘Ukrainian’.
With the ‘Ukraine’ lands in its fold, RF has control of 4 major European rivers, including the mighty Danube. It also has control of the Three-Seas-Initiative. It will be able to directly threaten both PL and RO to Finlandize them. It will have removed USA’s control over the vital gaz link between RF and DE that runs through UKR at the moment. In otherwords, the marriage of RF and DE will be possible without any USA ability to stop it – something that USA fought two world wars and one cold war to prevent.
That would be Germany’s salvation, even if 85% of Germans do not know it because of state propaganda.
Greetings from Germany.
I suspect that the West, in continuously talking about a potential Russian nuclear strike against Ukraine, is actually preparing the public over time for a nuclear false flag event that will be blamed on Russia. I do not believe they care about the Ukrainian and other people across Europe who will be killed or injured in such an event as they value victory over people’s lives. They are desperate for a victory against Russia and currently, under threat of ultimate defeat, they will do anything to turn that around.
Who would they want to impress with that false flag? Every country/government knows who’s lying and who is responsible for what is happening now.
In my opinion this would backfire on the US. This would also be an invitation for Russia to strike back at the US. If I were in Mr. Putin’s position, I would retaliate against the US and the US only. I would announce this publicly and state the reasons. I don’t think anyone would be upset about my decision or would try to save the US.
NATO would be glad too in my opinion. They would not oppose, maybe only in empty words.
Yep, behead the master. The rest will fall in line once they become leaderless. Europe by now has a tradition of vassalage and political slavery, it won’t matter who is boss, in fact, they haven’t got the depth of political thought nowadays to even know what to do, it’ll take decades or re-education.
And I can’t see the countries in Southern Europe running to the US’s defence.
They need to impress the people, the masses. If the people understood that their leaders did a first strike for purely aggressive reasons, then the surviving people would be more likely to revolt in the aftermath, blaming their leaders for the unspeakable carnage. A false flag allows the excuse that the use of nukes was a necessary evil in self-defense.
Then they don’t even need a false flag for that. They can just announce this publicly and retaliate. Who will check the facts when ICBMs are already on their way? A false flag only works, if you call the shots and you know that your opponent is not capable to fend you off easily. You practically force him to face you and give him the blame for it. It will never work with Russia in my opinion. We saw what happened with NS1 and NS2. Everybody knows who is behind it.
Russia will nuke the US for sure, if they go too far. People still believe this is some sort of a land-grab for Russia and Ukraine is the victim. This is the final standoff between the dying west and the new emerged players in the east, it’s about hegemony, power and of course free money (looting/blackmail/etc.). US/NATO have propped Ukraine for that. They overthrow the government in 2014 and dumped since then many offensive weapons … for one purpose only.
No long range weapons for Ukraine, no nukes for Poland. US knows, they can’t escalate any further. Russia already accused them publicly to be party to the conflict. That suddenly means something I guess.
Maybe, people seem to be very gullible.
they already forced Russia to invade UKR.
All they (the US) need to do is set off a tactical nuke in UKR – or even a big “dirty” conventional bomb. Show the crater. Show the gieger counters going off. Have some corrupt inspectors confirm radiation……come one. We’ve seen this crap before with “yellow cake from Nigeria”. It doesn’t even need to be well done. Then as Russia starts kicking Ukro ass again, they can send the nukes on the way to Russia. The people will have been primed to accept that it needed to be done before the Russians do it to us. Biden was talking about nuclear disaster last night at a fund raiser, even budgeting for medication to protect against radiation sickness.
These lunatics think they can both win and survive a nuclear war – not all of us, of course, just the important people. The day it happens, they will all be far away in their underground sanctuaries. I’m not a conspiracy theorist. I hate popular conspiracy theories like 9/11 “trutherism” – but I can imagine what I just described.
It can happen like you say it. But why go through all that trouble faking it? That’s my thinking. If they think they can pull it of and they want to, why wait and make it a false flag?
I think they maybe wanna do it, but they are not able to pull it off. We will have to wait and see. But yes, there is a very real and serious danger that the west will mess this up in some way and force Russia’s hand to do it. But I really think Russia will go after the main suspect, the US, anyway.
You take them out, everything will fall apart quickly. Why punish some dumb sheep when you can decapitate the wolf and set the sheep free.
A few years ago the US has threatened Russia with a preemptive strike. At least they talked about it in public, which to me is like an open threat. Nothing happened. It was just empty intimidation. Today Russia is even mightier.
Just my two cents 🙂
Your reference is from the “Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe”, also known as the U.S. Helsinki Commission, not the “Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe”. Different beasts.
Thanks.
Your analysis is first rate and without peer, Larry. Ritter’s the only other one who brings enough of a knowledge base to analyzing current events, but his wheelhouse is much different than yours. Yours is the ultimate big picture, macro-geopolitical in scope, and much needed to understand the “actual” game-changing events. You need to be on more shows, at least once a week.
You are very kind. I’m glad what I’m writing resonates and is beneficial.
There is nothing Putin can do except the stay the course (whatever that is in his planning).
If the west wants nuclear war, they will have it via false flag, via psi-ops or forcing the conclusion by taking matters right to or just over “the brink” so Russia must respond. There will always be a way to pin a justification on Russia proactively so as enabling the west to launch a “preemptive’ strike; or retroactively if caused by an itchy trigger finger or some other blunder, assuming anyone is left to care and update the record.
If the west doesn’t want a nuclear war, then staying the course should work out for Russia assuming all the analysis promoted by Larry and like minded others is mostly correct.
Putin is certainly someone who can keep his emotions in check. I would have stopped all arm shipments with an attack on those in Europe who are doing the arming as a warning. But then it would mean no turning back. I think Putin was hoping for things like what happened in Italy and the winter to see if the European public will be heard and the US mid terms. After that I think if he decides there is no chance then attacks will be made.

Merkel gave a illuminating talk in Munich yesterday –
(Use Machine translator)
https://www.sueddeutsche.de/panorama/sueddeutsche-zeitung-77-jahre-festakt-gaertnerplatztheater-merkel-1.5670301
Essentially – the EU needs the RF and w/o the RF on Board there can never be peace in Europe
Better article
https://www.merkur.de/politik/ukraine-krieg-news-putin-drohung-russland-panik-teilmobilisierung-flucht-zugestaendnis-armee-merkel-zr-91833505.html
The first article is mostly gossip
The first article is mostly (self-)congratulations on the Sueddeutsche Zeitung’s 77th anniversary (which still remains a solid newspaper, unlike WaPo or NYT). The second article (from the Muenchener Merkur) leads with the usual EU/US bluster and waffling re. which toys the US will concede to Zalensky, but the article’s section titled “Update vom 6. Oktober, 22.10 Uhr” quotes Fr. Merkel thus [non-literal translation]:
“… we would be well advised to take [Putin’s] words seriously and deal with them earnestly rather than taking them from the outset as a bluff.” She emphasized that lasting peace in Europe can occur “only with Russia’s involvement.” As long as we haven’t really achieved that, then the Cold War hasn’t really ended.”
Medvedev has definitely changed his tune : The West is to ask for mercy, unconditional surrender.
He sounds as wacked as the leaders of the US , UK , Germany, France, Poland and the Ukraine. No leaders of stature to be found.
To answer Larry’s question. If I were Putin I would give back the billions I stole to the people I stole it from. And seeing Putin is religious , trust that the Christian God is a forgiving God.
Oh you mean stealing billions to do things like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_lebOpy_9Q& .. all over Russia (you can check out the rest of that channel), or things like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wwHXN5f9-E&? sorry, but if he was stealing billions the infrastructure wouldn’t look like this, nor would the supermarkets be full .. but keep dreaming (they’re free) ..
what and whose Billions did Putin steal?
Look it up. It’s easy.
Next! Can we have the next Steve please.
@another steve, Who exactly wrote the report that Putin stole billions? mainstream media? Unless I see his bank statement and perform an audit…. I don’t trust any sources. Word of advice if you have any self-respect: You shouldn’t either!
When you see Putin’s bank statement , let me know.
Please teach me about self respect , I’d be most interested.
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, he’s forgiving but not laconically mysterious and mendacious like your post. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
Should the USA return the Iraqi gold it stole? What about the Afghanistan National Treasury? The Syrian oil we are stealing on a day to day basis? Should we pay for the 1 million Iraqi’s we killed in a genocidal war? Putin’s crimes if any pale in comparison to the USA death machine.
Lol @ ” trust that the Christian God is a forgiving God.” No, He’s not. He’s vindictive, petty and forgetful.
What planet are you getting your info from?
Thanks for shining light on a crucial but suppressed story!

I have more faith in the silent Generals.
“Turn and Burn” or retire and golf.
Fishing off the Florida coast in a decent boat and a good pension sounds nice.
Never forget, Old Generals have young grandchildren.
Just sayin !
Maybe the sub is on a mission to protect/keep an eye on the pipeline …
Excellent and timely topic and analysis, probably one of the most important (out of many) ignored or mishandled by our legacy media.
Medvedev, obviously furious, only a few weeks ago sounded like the Korean Central News Agency, openly alluding to nuking a wine-sipping expert class in the West trying to destroy his nation without direct confrontation. It was unlike any Soviet or Russian leader in history. But one of the things our expert class seems in total agreement upon is western actions through the years have absolutely nothing to do with it. Odd then Soviet and Russian leaders never sounded like this during the early Cold War, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cuban Missile Crisis, or through the intense peak of vertical nuclear proliferation in the 1980s, nor at any time since 1991, until Ukraine finally came to a head. We’re flirting with disaster. If we ever needed a vocal peace movement in politics, existentially, it’s right now. But you could hear a pin drop.
DeNazify and Demilitarize Ukraine were both possible, until US/Europe decided to forever Remilitarize Ukraine. So Ukraine will now remain a military threat to Russia as long as it exists.
Putin must destroy Ukraine now, by attacking Kiev and western-Ukraine electric grids and bridges. Only that way will the US/Europe weapons stop arriving at the front and eastern-Ukraine, now Russia, can be protected.
Just viewed a clip of Russian helicopters strafing Ukrainian positions then the Ukrainian fortification was assaulted by tanks, armored vehicles and infantry.
It looked devastating. One Russian soldier tossed a grenade into a hole then blasted away at anyone left. The Russians are not screwing around.
In another drone video I saw a lone DPR guy advancing on four Ukrainians in a trench , wounding two with a grenade and making the two who were covering the wounded’s retreat with automatic fire run.
Apart from the guy’s admirable coolheadedness this little incident made me realise how pissed off the Donbass people are. There are working men who’d been in these trenches on and off for eight years. Their patience must be very short by now.
Larry, what do you know of the S500 and the soon to be released S550? I read a few months ago that Russia has nearly closed off it’s entire airspace to ICBM’s with the latest AIDS and work on the S600 when finished will close it off entirely.
allegedly s500 or s550 can take out Leo’s low earth satellites.
Russians really went to town on missiles and rockets, at all levels they have interfacing systems for target designation, and can use the cheapest defense or specific system most suitable to match the target.
allegedly they can intercept hypersonics, as to what speed no one really knows.
You should read Medvedev’s statement very carefully…
Usually they talked of the Western “Partners” and “Friends”.
Now Medvedev clearly talks about the Western “Enemies”.
That is a HUGE difference and change in stance ….
I would say … after all, the Russians are in retreat in this war. Therefore, there is this panicky reaction from Medvedev. The first and most important rule. There is no negotiation with terrorists. Let him go to hell. Russia wants a ceasefire to prepare for spring. Sorry, but it will be after Putin by next summer.
It is always great to a prophet handy. Let me have a screenshot of this prophecy to get back to it in a year.
Re. Cuban Missile Crisis.
It is said that Castro was furious at what he considered Soviet betrayal in withdrawing the missiles. Apparently he wanted to go all-in with a nuclear strike on the US.
The chihuahuas are very brave when they have a big dog behind them.
In 1962, both big dogs had leaders who had served in a massive war and understood the risks. Today?
has the Saudi state any possibility of survival without the support of the US?
Impossible. Only americans use oil. If there was any other customer for it that had any money, then maybe they could survive.
To halt the flow of men and material from the West, RF needs to close the western border of Ukraine. And I don’t agree that RF would automatically agree to let Poland annex Lviv.
First, the Poles are very antagonistic towards RF , and also Ukraine is ex-Soviet territory.
If there needs to be a long-term pacification campaign, perhaps the Chechens or other non-Slavic people in RF would be helpful.
It takes time to position sea-borne and strategic assets. Also there is the UN grain deal regarding Odessa. I don’t think Odessa will be taken before the grain deal is wrapped up for this year.
Oh, and there will be a no-fly zone over the entire Ukr, as imposed by the RF.
Leaders who wish to have nuclear dreams should understand what Deadhand is all about. As long as that signal is still broadcasting, the world gets to live.
Another great article; Mr. Johnson. On point as usual . As long as the west has the neoliberal leadership they do; russia and the rest of brics know they will always be a target and they also understand the ignorance of the western brainwashed masses who will not do anything to oppose the satanist agenda Putin talks about. I hope this changes over here soon as i think his speech was as much for the people of the west as his own people and the rest of the world.
I am a bible believer and am beginning to think that perhaps Putin is the return of Elijah the Prophet in the last chapter of the old testament- Malchi 4 kjv. I guess time will tell. We are told to trust in God and not man; but i do believe that in history God raises up men to oppose evil. 2 other old testament examples among others are Gideon and of course the original Elijah the prophet.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
this is a commentary on putins speech . it is 45 minutes long

The speech outlined the historical reasons for the annexation of the four regions and the UN guidance on it.
He then explained what Russia was up against, a satanic inversion of Russian Christian traditions.
He accused western elites of serving moneyed US interests who want to eliminate all competition and break Russia up into more easily managed pieces.
He also highlighted the corrupt banking practices that have resulted in the current recession.
this is an interesting video. the roots of this transgenderism stuff goes back at least back to ancient babylon. i believe that after solomon ancient israel adopted these same practices and as a result of becoming degenerate were eventually destroyed and the people deported away to foreign lands. This agenda in my opinion has been resurrected and is being promoted again to destroy the people of the entire world again today. The below is what Putin is opposing and i believe is the main reason why they want him removed. I do not agree with everything in this video but i think it shows where we are at today and perhaps why the period of history we live in is called mystery babylon- a return to the old pagan ways.

In this age where thermobaric weapons can be used which will wipe out all life down to bacteria in a half mile radius depending on the bomb size ; do not think there is a need for nuclear weapons to be used at all in the battlefield. Yu drop one or more of these and an entire brigade if it is not spread out can be wiped out or incapacitated in an instant. Also for targets in built up areas the same applies
this was first shown in a hollywood movie 27 yrs. ago.

Putin should aim for a quick victory in Ukraine, fortify the oblasts, and sit tight. The West is on the verge of financial collapse. Time is on putins side. The real risks lie with the nutters in Washington who still believe the ” US exceptionalism” lies.
NATO members must be willing to die for Ukraine if they agree to Zelensky’s suicidal demands that NATO conduct a preemptive nuclear strike. Hopefully not everybody at NATO are political appointees and do understand the ramifications of “M.A.D.” A basic grasp of physics and meteorology is a plus.
After WW2 the allies in many ways really betrayed the Russians trust ,especially since the Russians are for the most part responsible for winning the war ,and seizing of bank accounts doesn’t really make anyone trust you ,trust is a strange thing once you loose it ,its impossible to get it back.
Yes, and even more so is how the rest of the world, especially the “south”, have reacted to that stealing of Russia’s assets. Hence the overwhelming support for and wanting in to BRICS+ and the alternative to SWIFT and the USD. Both China and Russia are dumping USD way more than before. They can see its demise. Hell, even Saudi Arabia is dissing the USA now. No one with half a brain trusts the USA anymore.
“I do not believe that Dimitry Medvedev was drunk or insane when he said this.”

Nor do I.
“I believe he is serious and reflects a view that is widely shared among the Russian leadership. ”
Agree completely. In fact, I would go so far as to say at this point, there is probably unanimous consent inside the Kremlin that Ukraine must be crushed and the United States humiliated.
Which means, of course, Putin is finally on board (seen the light!), and has given the orders to his General Staff to do what must be done.
And though I don’t think they’ll go so far as to ask for America’s “unconditional surrender,” that may not be insane but it is crazy talk, I think something similar to Medvedev’s map will be the likely outcome of the coming operation.
You know Larry, I’m 62, and I’ve been following the nuclear shenanigans since I was little kid. It’s always been something of an obsession, actually, and the idea that my country would one day have nuclear first strike weapon systems deep inside borders of the Warsaw Pact would have been inconceivable to me when I was a twelve year old.
That was the year, 1972, when Nixon and Brezhnev signed the ABM Treaty, and I remember thinking at the time, well, unless there is some kind of radar malfunction, I no longer have to worry about getting vaporized during my lifetime!
One of the reasons I’ve never been a big fan of Vladimir Putin.* The day the US started placing its ABM systems in Poland, back in 2008 I believe it was, and every single day after, he should have been screaming at the top of his lungs and for all the world to hear, the US is INSANE and must be STOPPED!
But he didn’t. Instead he allowed the US to march right up to his borders with really, very little protest. A few mild squeaks now and then is all.
And so, here we are.
*Truth be told, I can’t believe the man is still alive. You cannot allow a potential adversary to have ABMs within boost phase intercept range of your outgoing, even though you believe them to be your “partners.” To permit this would be to commit treason.
How would I react?
Well, I would start by acknowledging that I had made a nearly irretrievable blunder by the soft, one hand tied behind its back approach I inflicted on my military in February. I would admit that if the army had been instructed to go in big, bomb the Dneiper bridges to rubble and the electricity stations to slag, surrounded and stormed Kiev after a smashing artillery assault like on Grozny in 1999-2000, and compelled the absolute and unconditional surrender of the Elensky regime, then NATO would have been thoroughly intimidated and contained. Instead now I have my enemies openly talking about using nuclear weapons while my under strength forces are desperately holding off ten times their number of nazis that my air force for some inexplicable reason has been instructed to not bomb to fragments. I would then proceed to correct the errors immediately and by all means, starting by a decapitation strike against the regime I had stated that one of my goals was to denazify. In other words, I would stop pretending and begin a real war to terrify NATO into backing off, if I still can.
